This dissertation aims to examine the overall scene of the construction of enunciation and the constitution of Discursive Ethos, in the literary discourse by Moacyr Scliar in Portuguese Language. The tale As Pragas written by Moacyr Scliar was taken as the purpose of analyses that we have taken on a discourse. The theoretical and methodological basis used to analyze, is given by the Discourse Analyses of the French line on the approach proposed by Dominique Maingueneau especially for literary discourse. The discourse analysis written by Moacyr Scliar, corresponds to a discursive practice common in his works which have the biblical discourse as a source of inspiration and present a significant part of his work related as he calls the Bible revisited . In fact, the discursive proposal to revisit the old stories, parables, and biblical characters, that get through the fiction of this author, a contemporary tone, critical, marked by irony, humor, or even reflective. These are the adopted assumptions that inscribe As pragas in contemporary discourse. The relevance of this research is to propose through the discourse analyses of the French line a new literary event highlighting categories like the Scene of Enunciation and the Discursive Ethos

Full textFor the last twenty years art historians have developed an interest in microarchitecture: the miniaturization of architecture in works of art, especially in goldsmithery. Studies dedicated to the topic mostly focus on medieval period, trying to define which large-scale buildings these works might imitate. However, these studies are rarely extended to other periods of time. Renaissance Florence, characterized by a deep transformation of the art of architecture, is a significant period we chose in order to observe the connections between miniaturized and monumental buildings. This requires the identification of three aspects of microarchitecture: being an object or part of an object (Objectum), combining different architectural motives (Ædiculum) and presenting itself as an image to be seen by a viewer (Imago). With Objectum, we examine the microarchitecture in relation to the work it contributes to ornate as well as within its context of production. This inspection is also a relevant opportunity to present the materials and the techniques used by the goldsmiths. With Ædicula, we study the architectural motives that compose the miniaturized buildings. The motives show the similarities between goldsmithery and other arts like sculpture and painting. With Imago, we consider the dialog that microarchitecture establishes with the viewer thanks to several dispositives such as the æsthetic qualities of the pieces, their ability to evocated something familiar (a building) and, sometimes, their religious and political meanings. In total, this study argues that micorarchitecture does not necessarily define itself within its relationship to large-scale architecture but should rather be understood as an independent, universal artistic phenomenon

The present research brings up the subject on the discursive ethos constitution belonging to the political field and written by Joaquim Nabuco. Our main objective was to evaluate ethos constitution and verify discourse strategies used by the broadcaster in order to have it released in such discourse and obtain accesion from its cobroadcasters. Joaquim Nabuco was one of the most representative brazilian intelectuals regarding transition period from the XIX century and XX century. Its social and academic importance to such theme takes place due to the possibility of analyzing discourse through the methodological and theorical tool in Discourse Analysis in a french line of study more specifically on proposed approaches made by Maingueneau and Charaudeau. In our study, the procedure, first of all, laid on the introduction of historical and social production conditions where the selected discourse has been published aiming in inserting it in the context of ideas produced at that time and also aiming in understanding which ideas influenced in it. The next step was to select categories which assisted us on how to procede and base analysis performed by us. It seemed for us that the finding happened throughout the establishement of enunciation scenarios, discoursive ethos besides global semantic plans. In order to carry out the research, we´ve selected as a sample, the fragment post-scripto (sic), from the book called Balmaceda from Joaquim Nabuco and we´ve analyzed enunciation scenes, global ones, generalized and scenic also the diversed tracks on discoursive ethos and global semantic plans. The main theoriticians by which we have based our study on were Faoro, when it comes to historical issues, Charaudeau, regarding political discourse and Maingueneau, when it comes to understanding theory reference about Discourse Analysis. The research revealed us the constitution of a varied number of tracks on discoursive ethos by scenic discourse. It is a discourse strategy adopted as a way out to circumvent censorship imposed in the country by the republican regime stated at that time when Joaquim Nabuco´s discourses were released in a monarchist tenor. The broadcaster positioning towards it was clarified, although the adherence to the discourse when it comes to co-broadcasters demonstrates to be another step of this study and can be explored in future studies
