Abstract:
Cellular phone or mobile phone is a telecommunication device extremely consumed by all levels of society in Indonesia. Article presents a reality that mobile phone is not only communication devices. The presentation begins with the history of cell phones, both globally and also by the time of entering and growing in Indonesia. Then will also be discussed whether cell phones are being used properly according to their purpose and benefit by the Indonesian users. Moreover, whether cell phones can be the symbol of the users. Research method used in this paper is literature study, continued with reflective data analysis. It can be concluded that a more comprehensive picture of cultural development in society as a result of cell phones growth in Indonesia will be obtained. (DW)

Abstract. Introduction. Foreign capital flows have an important role in a sustainable Indonesian economy, these flows have a significant influence on developing countries, especially Indonesia to encourage increased economic growth. This study focuses on analyzing the determination of macroeconomic variables including economic growth, interest rates, rupiah exchange rates, and the number of residents who subscribe to cellular phones. Purpose. This study focuses on long-term analysis of macroeconomic variables in determining foreign direct investment (FDI). Results. The findings of this study indicate that in the short term economic growth has a positive and significant effect on foreign direct investment. while the rupiah exchange rate, interest rate,s and the number of residents who subscribe to cellular phones have a negative and significant effect on foreign direct investment. while in the long term economic growth has a positive but not significant effect on foreign direct investment. while the interest rate and the number of residents who subscribe to cellular phones have a positive and significant effect. Meanwhile, the rupiah exchange rate in the long term has a negative and significant effect. Conclusions. Based on the short-term estimation, Economic Growth has a positive and significant effect on Foreign Direct Investment. Meanwhile, the Rupiah Exchange Rate, Interest Rate, and Number of Residents Subscribing to Cellular Phones have a negative and significant effect on Foreign Direct Investment and Based on the long-term estimation, Economic Growth has a positive but not significant effect on Foreign Direct Investment. Meanwhile, the interest rate and the number of residents who subscribe to cell phones have a positive and significant effect. Meanwhile, the Rupiah Exchange Rate in the long term has a negative and significant effect.

Abstract:
Nowadays, the internet has become a necessity in social and economic life that provides convenience in communication and social interaction. In addition, the presence of the internet supported by advances in digital technology is expected to provide business opportunities. Internet access has become easier with the rapid use of cell phones/mobile phones. This study aims to examine the effect of internet use on entrepreneurship opportunities in Indonesia through descriptive analysis methods and binary logistic regression. This research uses data from the 2019 National Socio-Economic Survey. Entrepreneurs in this research are limited to individuals who seek to be assisted by permanent workers or paid workers in the age range of 25 to 44 years. Of the 348735 samples that became the unit of analysis, there were 7108 who were entrepreneurs or about 2.04 percent. This study found that individuals who use the internet have a higher chance of becoming an entrepreneur than individuals who do not use the internet and this finding is statistically significant. In addition, the level of education significantly affects individuals to become entrepreneurs, but individuals with higher education have a lower tendency to become entrepreneurs than those with high school education and below. Diabetics are increasing every year in the world, including in Indonesia. The ministry of health has carried out a solution to control diabetes, but the role of nurses as educators is not yet clearly defined, especially using technological innovations via cell phones or the web. This article aims to describe the development of technological innovations in the perspective of treating diabetes patients based on remote care using cellphone or web technology that can be used in a new adaptation period. The method used is a narrative literature review. Smartphone or web technology offers great benefits for diabetic patient care, behavior modification and education. Interactive Diabetes Diary is proven to help improve this way and is very easy to use. Diabetes management via cell phone or web is one solution for the latest nursing care services in improving the health status of diabetes patients.

Women’s susceptibility to HIV/AIDS infection is related to socio-economic and demographic factors. This study sought to analyze socio-economic and demographic factors related to knowledge and attitude of HIV/AIDS among women aged 15–49 years old in Indonesia. We conducted a secondary data analysis using the 2017 Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey (IDHS). Among 49,627 women, our study analyzed 25,895 women aged 15–49 years familiar with HIV terminology. Multiple logistic regression was utilized to analyze associations between socio-economic and demographic factors with knowledge and attitudes toward HIV/AIDS. Women’s age, education level, wealth quintile, residential area and region, access to information, owning cell phones and autonomy were significantly associated with positive knowledge and attitudes toward HIV/AIDS. These findings revealed that several demographical and social factors contribute to knowledge and attitudes toward HIV/AIDS among women aged 15–49 years in Indonesia.

Taropo is a village located in Kilo District, Dompu Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. Its location at the foot of the mountain makes it not easy to reach. Even the people in the district capital think they are still primitive with a pretty dramatic mystical character. The lack of access of transportation also made most of Taropo people's almost never leave their village. Even though the located 80 km away from Dompu City, Taropo can not be separated from the impact of information and communication technology (ICT) development. Nowadays every home starts to have television and cell phones. Most of young people also have using smart phones. This paper will explain how the development of ICT in Taropo Village, along with the impact of cultural changes that happend in their daily life. The development of ICT in Taropo community started from post, telephone, handphone, television, laptop, and computer. The Positive impacts lead several improvement to the Taropo people live, on the other hand it reduce the value of culture and become consumptive. The goverment has vital function to educate for people mentality in receiving the improvement of technology. Key words: development of ICT, cultural change, agrarian society of Indonesia.

The use of cell phones has undergone a rapid change and will continue to change. Previously used for voice communication in the 1980s, now mobile phones have various functions so that they are known as smartphones. The various functions of this smartphone are not only used for a positive purpose, but also create new problems, such as cyberbullying. Cyberbullying is a type of social abuse by utilizing electronic gadgets such as smartphones. The growing population of smartphone owners among students raises new problems in the classroom. Misuse of smartphone use, especially in the perspective of cyberbullying, can result in disruption of the quality of learning in the classroom and the academic atmosphere on campus. Compared to traditional bullying, cyberbullying can happen anywhere and anytime. Text, photo or video information used in cyberbullies can be delivered directly to the target person. This research aims to study the factors why students conduct cyberbullying and the effects of cyberbullying. The result of analysis shows enough evidence that there is a misuse in the use of smartphones when in the classroom. Various factors have been identified such as high frequency of smartphone usage which is not related to lessons in class, chatting in social media and bullying for fun or joke. The negative effect of cyberbullying is mostly feel humiliated followed by worried and isolated. The results of this research help higher education institutions to anticipate the impact of smartphone use among students earlier and take appropriate steps or policies to maintain the learning process and quality learning atmosphere.

Online dispute resolution (ODR) is designed to facilitate the proceedings of parties dispute through online technology media such as PCSs, laptops and cell-phones. ODR is expected to facilitate an effective mediation, adjudication communication, so it can provide benefits in the form of time and cost efficiency in dispute resolution. The research questions investigated in this study are: (i) What are the advantages of the concept of proceedings by e-arbitration? (ii) Does the e-arbitration evidence collection procedure in accordance with the evidence principles of civil procedure law? This study employs the normative legal research method. The theories applied in investigating the problems in this research are the economic-legal theory and evidence principles. Through this study, it can be determined the comparison of procedure, benefit of e-arbitration evidence regulation in ShenZhen and Indonesia.

Responding to this, the Blackberry mobile phone company offers the benefits inherent in the products it produces, which is where consumers can more easily communicate always obtain the latest information, providing a variety of features, price terjangkauan as well as design and good quality. Problems that would like addressed in this study are: 1. Whether prices, products, and promotions simultaneously affect consumer decisions to buy Blackberry phones in Surabaya? 2. Whether prices, products, and promotions partially affect consumer decisions to buy Blackberry phones in Surabaya? Based on calculations using SPSS for windows 16 known to the adjusted R2 value of 68.5% indicates that purchasing decisions can be explained by variebel free of 68.5% and 31.5% explained by other factors outside the model. that variable pricing, products, and promotions simultaneously influence the purchasing decisions for which the calculated F value 72.660 with a significant 0.000. Based on t test results of tests indicate that: Price variables significantly influence the purchase decision with a value of 5.681 t count bigger than t tables of 2.277 with a significant level of 0.000. Product variables significantly influence the purchase decision with a value of 6.751 for the value t count bigger than t tables of 2.277 with a significant level of 0.000, and promotion variables significantly influence the purchase decision with a value of 2.930 t count bigger than t tables of 2.277 with a significant level of 0.004 Based on the test results are known variables tj most dominant influence on product purchasing decisions which have the greatest value that is equal to 6.751.
