Full textTaking into account that global climate change is a reality and that its causes are related to anthropogenic as well as to Earth's own dynamics, we can say that today, after 1989, the resolutions of a group of researchers belonging to the Intergovernmental Panel about Climate Change (IPCC) based scientific data that are used in global political actions at local, regional and global levels, are reshaping and influencing social and economic changes everywhere. The affirmative scientific environmental and climate change are embedded on one political context of global actions characterized by power asymmetry, transversality and transnational of actions. Thus the climate-change phenomenon affecting the island state of Tuvalu and possible solutions for the resulting climatic and political issues go through State action as well as through discussions in international organizations. The principle of citizenship linked to the States is fragmented, since internally, the Tuvalu's State, by losing its territory with rising sea level, cannot guarantee its citizens the right to life and their permanence in its territory. Although politically and economically insignificant, the country claimed the aid of many international actors, specially the great powers to ratify protocols, treaties and agreements aiming at reducing gas emission of polluting gases. However, contrary to Tuvalu's aspirations, it creates a conceptual discourse on the origin of environmental refugees or stateless persons and their possible international legal framework in the body, but did not discuss possible mitigation and adaptation solutions that mitigate the specific problem.

Full textIn the last years, because of global trends and conditions regarding longevity and declining fertility, there is an increase in the population of older adults. For this reason, 70% of Peruvian families have an elderly person at home: whether grandparents, parents or uncles, who require special care and company during the period of absence of the family while working. Currently, the hiring of a person who takes care of these relatives is widely used; however, they are not always sufficiently qualified to offer this care and there are several risks involved. In addition, this does not always influence the emotional well-being of the older adult since he or she remains at home without social contact. Thinking about how to minimize the possibility of the adult falling into depression and exposing himself to physical risks, our project is born, which consists of offering services that allow the use of free time, a proper attention to their health and provide information that prevent them from usual diseases in adulthood. After a research process, it was concluded that the programs offered will provide security and tranquility for the family or caregivers in charge. In addition, they will allow users to remain at home before evaluating the possibility of a nursing home. Our company proposes a business model based on the security and inclusion of the elderly in society.

Full textHome Senior´s club is a project that offers a high-quality service, focusing in satisfying the needs of a current unattended segment: self-reliant seniors. It is this portion of the Lima society that demands special attention where elements aligned to comfort, distraction, emotional balance, and their social interrelation are involved in their lifestyle. This entrepreneurship arises from a differentiated option. The strategy that we will use will be supported in the exposition of a business concept based on the generation of value through an exclusive club model that will involve a set of comprehensive experiences, which will start from the intellectual sphere with practices such as reading, going through the entertainment of each of the recreational activities and landing to the comfort of the relaxation spaces with the ancient disciplines. It is identified that our target market is people over 65 years old, who enjoy a standard healthy age after retirement and are at the apex of their work and domestic operations, many far from their family nucleus. Seniors club is made up of young professionals, with experience in business virtue management, who bring together a set of skills and competences that, together with her passion for commitment and natural leadership, predispose her towards the achievement of a greater objective: service. We ask for the sum of S/35,150.00, inviting the investor to be part of the company with a 20% of shares.

The thesis is embedded in the Technology and Society matter. From this issue that, in a more specific way, I tried to explain in details the relationship established between the object ‘’family house’’, having the land and sea as laboratories, concrete and symbolical technical fieldsin the context of the Pedagogy of Alternating – PA. The study had as main goal the examination of processes of technical appropriation in the context of the Alternating Pedagogy, based in the interactions between technical fieldsand objects, lived in nine Rural Family Houses – RFH and one Sea Family House – SFH, located in Brazil’s south region, between the years 2010 and 2013.Therefore, some specific goals were set, with the purpose of creating the necessary deepening conditions for the building of a theoretical-methodological apparatus that would allow a precise analysis coherent with the research objectives. Therefore, the following specific goals were settled: the characterization of the Countryside Education and the rationality of its subjects; the systematization in the origins of the Pedagogy of Alternating, as of its theoretical and methodological references; the contextualization of technique, technology and conversation with the countryside; and finally, the analysis of some of the interactions that show in the subjects of study’s daily, that take in account elaborated objects and technical fields and giving new meaning to the diversity of time by the diversity of time and space related to the Pedagogy of Alternating. With the intention of serving the methodological precautions that guide the study, in what concerns its dialogic prism and the understanding of the relations as of the technical codes and designs inherent to the searched context, a group of different methods of research were chosen, keeping in mind the diversity of the subjects of study, wich can be : teachers, monitors, parents or youths in education. Among them, highlights the accomplishment of focus groups, led under the perspective of the so called ‘’common emplacements’’, interviews and stages of life performed with the RFH’s and SFH’s. It is yet necessary to emphasize that the aforesaid study didn’t objective comparative studies between Family Houses, but to understand the heterogeneous and identity modeldynamics that put them together. In sight of the exposed, in terms of synthesis, it is possible to consider that those dynamics are sustained in a plurality of symbolical and concrete elements that dwell in the womb of the movements (political, cultural, religious), in which are placed in its subjects. That means that claiming that the Pedagogy of Alternating can’t be noticed as a non-contextualized formative modality, but deeply associated to the articulations of its subjects, of the contradictions and stresses between the State and eventhe conceptions of faith that guide it. Besides that, highlights the singularities about the construction, elaboration and appropriation of the objects and fields, whose meanings or re-meanings, technical codes or designs are crossed by interactions that occur in space-times of stresses, contradictions and resistences, that permanently dialogue with the issues of technique and technology.
