Abstract:
In order to analyze inner electrical field distributions of EHV converter transformers windings end at valve side, a simulation circuit model of oil-paper combination insulations is established in this paper. Then ANSYS10.0 finite element method (FEM) is used to calculate the electrical field distributions under four different excited volatges, containing DC voltage, AC voltage, superimposed DC-AC voltage and polarity reversal (PR) voltage respectively. Simulation results show that when only under DC voltage, resistive electrical field distributions highly convergen on insulating cardboard whose resistivity is correspondingly big. While only under AC voltage, capactive electrical filed distributions highly centeralize on insulating oil whose dielectic capacity is correspondingly small. And under superimposed DC-AC voltage, its unformity lies in DC voltage or AC voltage function alone. While under transient polarity reversal volatge, its distrbutions present like tooth and electrical strength of insulating oil is bigger than that of insulating paper.

Abstract:
The current agricultural systems generally uses chemical fertilizers as a growth booster in order to meet the global food needs of 7 billion people and all of their livestock. But unfortunately not all are aware of the great danger behind such an overuse, unmetered application of chemical fertilizers, freely in an open field for the survival of the planet and its population. Thanks to technological advances, especially in the field of instrumentation and communication technology, the problem of increasing efficiency and avoiding such overuse should be minimized properly. In this study, the researchers tried to apply capacitive moisture sensor technology and serverless Internet of Things to the moisture meter instrument in the hydroponic drip fertigation system with roasted husk planting media. Capactive sensor technology has the advantage of corrosion resistance when applied to planting media containing high humidity and low alkalinity. By using a serverless IoT architecture, it is possible to monitor from anywhere via the internet, without involving complicated and expensive infrastructure. Based on the results of the prototype testing, it is known that the instruments built can work properly. The results of monitoring system conditions such as temperature and free heap appear stable. The reading results of the two sensors also run steadily, without fluctuations and variations in the reading that exceed 5%. The process of remote monitoring and data logging to serverless IoT is monitored to be stable with a data recording success rate of 99.8%.

Abstract:
In this paper, we study capacity allocation under seasonal demand in two-echelon supply chain. In this supply chain the supply and demand is seriously out-off-balance. In detail the capactiy of the supplier decreases in high-demand state while the capacity can be fully released in low-demand state. Hence a game-theoretical capacity allocation scheme is proposed to increase retailers’ orders in low-demand state. This allocation scheme based on turn-and-earn uses orders in low-demand state to allocate capacity in high-demand state. Our competitive game is base on Nash equilibrium. A contract based on Nash equilibrium is designed to guarantee a reasonable allocation of interests between the supplier and retailers by changing incentives. We show that turn-and-earn allocation does coordinate the system and with cooperation both the supplier and the retailer can both benefit from it. A numerical study is conducted.

A facile technique was used to prepare self-assembled 3D urchin-like V2O5 under solvothermal condition. The 3D urchin-like V2O5 could provide high Li[Formula: see text] capacity with excellent rate performance, presenting a high reversible discharge capacity of 271.6[Formula: see text]mAh[Formula: see text]g[Formula: see text], at 0.1[Formula: see text]C. At current density of 1[Formula: see text]C, it shows a high reversible capacities of 209[Formula: see text]mAh[Formula: see text]g[Formula: see text] with capactity retention of 91.8% (191[Formula: see text]mAh[Formula: see text]g[Formula: see text]) after 380 cycles. Even at 2[Formula: see text]C and 5[Formula: see text]C, the capacity displays 172.4 and 129.24[Formula: see text]mAh[Formula: see text]g[Formula: see text]. The above enhanced performance is caused from greatly enhanced charge transportation, which closely relates to the structural stability and more channels for Li[Formula: see text] transfer of the unique 3D urchin-like V2O5.

Abstract:
Natural geological conditions together with the impact of human activities could produce environmental problems due to high As concentrations. The aim of this study was to assess the role of epipsammic biofilm-sediment systems onto As (V) sorption and to evaluate the effect of the presence of equimolar P concentrations on As retention. A natural biofilm was grown on sediment samples in the laboratory, using river water as nutrient supplier. Sorption experiments with initial As concentrations 0, 5, 25, 50, 100, 250, and 500 μg L−1were performed. The average percentage of As sorbed was78.9±3.5and96.9±6.6% for the sediment and biofilm-sediment systems, respectively. Phosphate decreased by 25% the As sorption capactity in the sediment devoid of biofilm, whereas no significant effect was observed in the systems with biofilm. Freundlich, Sips, and Toth models were the best to describe experimental data. The maximum As sorption capacity of the sediment and biofilm-sediment systems was, respectively, 6.6 and 6.8 μg g−1and 4.5 and 7.8 μg g−1in the presence of P. In conclusion, epipsammic biofilms play an important role in the environmental quality of river systems, increasing As retention by the system, especially in environments where both As and P occur simultaneously.

Full text
Abstract:
The germ cell lineage is unique in that it must ensure that the genome retains the complete developmental potential (totipotency) that supports development in the following generation. This is achieved through a number of mechanisms that prevent the early germ cell lineage from somatic differentiation and promote the capactity for functional totipotency. Part of this process involves the retained germ line expression of key genes that regulate pluripotency in embryonic stem cells, embryonic germ cells and some embryonal carcinoma cells, the stem cells of testicular tumours. Despite this, germ cells are not intrinsically pluripotent and must differentiate along the male or female pathways, a process which requires commitment of the bi-potential primordial germ cells to the spermatogenic (male) pathway and their entry into mitotic arrest, or to the oogenic pathway (females) and entry into meiosis. This involves robust regulation of regulatory networks controlling pluripotency, cell cycle and sex specific differentiation. Our work aims to further understand the mechanisms controlling differentiation, pluripotency and cell cycle in early male and female germ cells. Our data shows that mitotic arrest of male germ cells involves strict regulation of the G1-S phase check-point through the retinoblastoma protein. In addition, suppression of pluripotency in differentiating male germ cells involves post-transcriptional regulation of OCT4, transcriptional regulation of Sox2 and Nanog and methylation of the Sox2 and Nanog promoters. Further understanding of these processes promises to lead to a greater understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying control of pluripotency, cell cycle and differentiation in the germ line and the initiation of germ cell derived testis tumours.

Gutiérrez, Joaquim, and Erika M. Plisetskaya. "Insulin binding to liver plasma membranes in salmonids with modified plasma insulin levels." Canadian Journal of Zoology 69, no. 11 (November 1, 1991): 2745–50. http://dx.doi.org/10.1139/z91-386.

Full text
Abstract:
Insulin binding to the liver plasma membranes was assessed in coho salmon (Oncorhynchus kisutch) injected intraperitoneally with 6.6 μmol arginine/g body weight, and in rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) fasted for 40 days and then refed for 15 days. Corresponding control groups of fish were injected with saline (coho salmon) or fed regularly (trout). Arginine injection was followed by a substantial elevation of plasma insulin titres from 12.5 to 76.8 ng/mL, an increase in the binding capacity and, consequently, an increase in specific binding of insulin to the liver plasma membranes from 3.4 to 5.5%. The binding affinity remained unchanged. Food deprivation lowered plasma insulin titres from 13.2 to 3.0 ng/mL, increased the binding capacity, but decreased the binding affinity, so the specific binding remained essentially unchanged (5.6% in fed versus 5.1% in fasted fish). Refeeding of fasted fish resulted in restoration of insulin levels and an increase in binding affinity relative to both control and fasted groups of fish. This led to a substantial elevation of the specific binding of insulin up to 7.1%. The binding of insulin to liver plasma membranes in salmonids depends both on the number of binding sites (binding capactity) and on the binding affinity. Long-term treatment, such as food deprivation, resulted in altered affinity and capacity of binding, whereas short-term treatment, such as arginine injection, affected mostly the binding capacity. Modulation of the number of binding sites in liver plasma membrane according to the insulin level was observed only in experiments on trout conducted at a higher (15 °C) water temperature.

Abstract:
Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) has quickly become a modernized and industrialized city undergoing a rapid population growth affecting on the local environment, especially the air quality and human health. It's urgent need to have a Clean Air Action Plan (CAP) for HCMC. The aim of this research is to develop a clean air plan for HCMC based on scientific basis by integrating results of emissions inventory, air emssion loading capacties and results of the impact of air pollution on people's health. This research applied the Clean Air For Smaller City in ASEAN Region project (CASC) method of Germany to develop the CAP. Emission inventory resulted from the integration of two approaches of bottom-up and top-down. The results of simulation of air pollution dispersion and air emission loading capacities were from the TAPM-CTM model system. Method of calculating the impact of air pollution on the health of people in Ho Chi Minh City was based on BENMAP model theory. The results showed that the source of traffic accounts for the largest emissions of all pollutants, contributed respectively, 99%, 97%, 93%, 78%, 23%, 64% and 45% of total CO, NMVOC emissions, NOx, SO2, TSP, CH4, and PM2:5 of the whole HCMC. For some central areas, the city was no longer able to receive more emissions of CO and NOx. Assessing the impact of air pollution on health showed that the great impact of PM2:5 on public health accounted for 81.45% of the total deaths caused by all three pollutants ( PM2:5, SO2, NO2). Finally, a CAP was suggested with 13 proposals and 1 recommendation for reducing air pollution in HCMC for the period of 2020–2025. This is the first comprehensive study on CAP in Vietnam. This result supports government authorities to promulgate plans and actions to reduce emissions protecting human health and the environment for a sustainable development.

Abstract:
Dancers need adequate cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) levels in order to cope with the demands of dance classes and choreographies. Screening and monitoring of CRF is advised. The aim of this systematic review was to provide an overview of tests used to assess CRF in dancers and to examine the measurement properties of these tests. A literature search was performed in three online databases (PubMed, EMBASE, and SPORTDiscus) up until August 16, 2021. Study inclusion criteria were: 1. a CRF test was used; 2. participants were ballet, contemporary or modern, or jazz dancers; and 3. English full-text peer-reviewed article. General study information, participant information, CRF test used, and study outcome were extracted. If available, measurement property data were extracted (i.e., test reliability, validity, responsiveness, and interpretability). Of the 48 articles included in the review, most used a maximal treadmill test (n = 22) or the multistage Dance Specific Aerobic Fitness test (DAFT; n = 11). Out of the 48 included studies, only six examined the measurement properties of CRF tests: Aerobic Power Index (API), Ballet-specific Aerobic Fitness Test (B-DAFT), DAFT, High-Intensity Dance Performance Fitness Test (HIDT), Seifert Assessment of Functional Capactiy for Dancers (SAFD), and the 3-minute step test. Good test-retest reliability was found for the B-DAFT, DAFT, HIDT, and SAFD. Criterion validity was determined for the VO2peak of the API, the 3-MST, HIDT, and SAFD. For HRpeak, criterion validity was studied for the 3-MST, HIDT, and SAFD. While different CRF tests are being used in descriptive and experimental research within dance populations, the body of research supporting the measurement properties of such tests is very small. As many studies have methodological flaws (e.g., small participant numbers or no statistical analysis for validity or reliability), additional good quality research is required to re-examine and complement current measurement property results of the API, B-DAFT, DAFT, HIDT, SAFD, and 3-MST.

Abstract:
As campuses embrace their role as anchor institutions, considerations should be given to the role of infrastructure, structure, and strategy. This article differentiates between infrastructure and organizational structure then identifies implications for determining who should be involved based upon the institutional and community goals. Resources and infrastructure—a center or office that supports and coordinates community engagement—has been noted as a key component to the institutionalization of community engagement (Welch & Saltmarsh, 2013). How might the infrastructure used to support community engagement differ from the anchor institution mission? This article will illustrate potential differences and similarities while offering recommendations and considerations that would be useful as campuses develop their anchor institution plans.

"Repeated-sprint sets test: a new method for evaluating and forecasting fitness in elite young male soccer players." Abstract:
AbstractThe objective of the current study was to explore the correlation between repeated sprint sets (RSS) ability and several physical attributes, including maximum sprint speed, maximal aerobic speed, maximal anaerobic speed, aerobic capacity, and explosive strength. Moreover, the aim was to assess the suitability of RSS as a comprehensive evaluation tool for physical qualities and to determine which physical field tests most accurately predict RSS in elite young male soccer players. A total of thirty-two young elite male soccer players (mean age 14.6 ± 0.3 years; predicted years from peak height velocity (PHV): − 0.4 ± 0.3; years in training: 3.7 ± 0.5) voluntarily participated in the study. The players participated in eight consecutive specific physical tests, with a minimum 72-h recovery between each session to minimize the impact of fatigue during the second trial. The participants completed the tests in the following order: RSS test, Vam-Eval test, a constant velocity test performed until exhaustion at 100% of vVO2max (tlim100), 20-m Multi-Stage Shuttle Run test (VMSRT), Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Test level 1 (Yo-Yo IR1), Maximal Anaerobic Shuttle Running Test (VMASRT), Maximal Sprinting Speed Test (20-m flying sprint), Countermovement Jump (CMJ), and Standing Long Jump test (SLJ). The results of the study showed that there were very large negative correlations between tlim100 and SST (sum of sprint times), and large negative correlations between Yo-Yo IR1, Vam-Eval, and SST during RSS in young elite male soccer players (p < 0.05). Additionally, VMASRT and SLJ demonstrated a moderate negative correlation with SST (p < 0.05). In contrast, significant positive correlations were found between 20-m flying sprint and the SST (p < 0.05). According to the stepwise multiple linear regression analysis, the primary predictors of SST, ranked by importance, were tlim100 and Yo-Yo IR1. These two predictors collectively accounted for 72% of the variance in players’ SST (p < 0.0001). Due to the importance of aerobic capacity and short repeated accelerations/sprint sets for overall competitive performance in soccer, in conclusion, our results suggest that elite young male soccer players should perform both high intensity interval training and aeorobic capactity exercises as part of soccer training if the primary outcome is to improve repeated sprint ability performance.
