Abstract:

Serrasalmidae has high morphological and chromosomal diversity. Based on molecular hypotheses, the family is currently divided into two subfamilies, Colossomatinae and Serrasalminae, with Serrasalminae composed of two tribes: Myleini (comprising most of pacus species) and Serrasalmini (represented by Metynnis, Catoprion, and remaining piranha’s genera). This study aimed to analyze species of the tribes Myleini (Myloplus asterias, M. lobatus, M. rubripinnis, M. schomburgki, and Tometes camunani) and Serrasalmini (Metynnis cuiaba, M. hypsauchen, and M. longipinnis) using classical and molecular cytogenetic techniques in order to understand the chromosomal evolution of the family. The four species of the genus Myloplus and T. camunani presented 2n = 58 chromosomes, while the species of Metynnis presented 2n = 62 chromosomes. The distribution of heterochromatin occurred predominantly in pericentromeric regions in all species. Tometes camunani and Myloplus spp. presented only one site with 5S rDNA. Multiple markers of 18S rDNA were observed in T. camunani, M. asterias, M. lobatus, M. rubripinnis, and M. schomburgkii. For Metynnis, however, synteny of the 18S and 5S rDNA was observed in the three species, in addition to an additional 5S marker in M. longipinnis. These data, when superimposed on the phylogeny of the family, suggest a tendency to increase the diploid chromosome number from 54 to 62 chromosomes, which occurred in a nonlinear manner and is the result of several chromosomal rearrangements. In addition, the different karyotype formulas and locations of ribosomal sequences can be used as cytotaxonomic markers and assist in the identification of species.

Abstract:

Majapahit has been known as agrarian and maritime kingdom as well, with a territory covered almost as wide as the nowadays Republic of Indonesia region, excluding part of Papua and West Java (the Sundanese Kingdom). This was the condition after Gajah Mada well-known vow, the Palapa. Long before Mahāpatih Gajah Mada spoke his vow, from the year 1292 CE inscription of Camundi one’s learned that the consecration of the statue of Bhattari Camundi during the time of Śrī Mahārāja Kěrtanāgara from Siŋhasāri was a token of his success in bringing all the areas and many islands around under his power. And that means that the idea of expanding the Java mandala had been managed by Śrī Mahārāja Kěrtanāgara since the 1270-s before the inscription of Camundi was established. Based on available written sources (scripts and inscriptions) and being compared to Siŋhasāri maṇḍala expansion, regions that were under Majapahit’s authority covered only parts of Central Java, East Java, Madura, Bali and Sumbawa. Majapahit’s power was very depended on the services of the coastal ports such as Kambangputih, Siddhayu, Gresik, Surabhaya, and Canggu. And as to it Majapahit established powerful navy arms to secure the Majapahit waters in the Java Sea. The Babad Lasĕm mentioned Lasĕm to be the port where Rājasawarddhana (Bhre Matahun) warships anchored. Rājasawarddhana was the ruler of Lasĕm who happened to be Hayam Wuruk’s relatives. All these warships were assumed to protect Majapahit’s waters in the Java Sea.

Abstract:

A new species of Serrasalmidae, Tometes camunani, is described from the upper drainages of the rio Trombetas basin, Pará State, Brazil. The new species is distinguished from its congeners by having neurocranium with a slight concavity at the level of the frontal bone (vs. concavity absent, dorsal profile of neurocranium straight). It can be further distinguished from its congeners by having teeth with central cusp taller and acute (vs. central cusp shorter and with rounded edge in T. trilobatus), a terminal mouth (vs. upturned mouth in T. lebaili), and 12-26 prepelvic spines (vs. 0-9 in T. makue). The new species is strictly rheophilic like other species of Tometes, and occurs exclusively in the rapids of shield rivers, complex and fragile biotopes that are threatened by anthropogenic activities. An identification key to the species of the Myleus group is provided

Abstract:

Three pholcid species (Araneae: Pholcidae) from Parque Estadual da Cantareira, city of São Paulo, Brazil are newly described: Mesabolivar cantharus n. sp., Mesabolivar camussi n. sp., and Tupigea cantareira n. sp. Collection data suggest a preference of the species for ground level habitats. Preliminary data on Tupigea cantareira n. sp. suggest a continuous occurrence of adult individuals throughout the year, with a peak in the rainy season. It also seems that T. cantareira n. sp. prefers the natural (“Mata”) environment over the reforested Pinus area.

Abstract:

The current research focuses on the development of urban elites in Italy at the beginning of the 20th century. Between 1906 and 1923 the National Institute for the Increase of Physical Education aimed at involving the leading groups of Italian cities in the promotion of physical activities by setting up local Committees. Thus, the goal of this study is to evaluate to what extent the Institute founded by jurist Luigi Lucchini contributed to integrate local élites with the system of sport and gymnastics values promoted at national level by State institutions such as school and army. The research extends to the topic of elites’ education the methodology outlined by Camurri (2009). The author argues that researchers should focus on all those processes that contributed to link central and local political institutions in order to point out bilateral influences existing between the 19th and 20th centuries. According to Camurri, a full understanding of Italian political and social history must analyse a variety of central-local relations. This article investigates the role of the National Institute for the Increase of Physical Education as it emerges from the correspondence between its central offices and local Committees and the magazine of the Institute. The letters analysed have been collected in local Archives, whereas the magazine was published between 1907 and 1912. As a provisional conclusion, the article provides evidence of how important further research on the education processes of Italian elites could be, as stated by Gaudio (2018, p. 9).

A partire dagli esiti di una ricerca sulle rappresentazioni sociali della maternità (Camussi, 2009), il contributo indaga "la solitudine delle madri" attraverso l'analisi delle produzioni discorsive di un gruppo di donne (lavoratrici, cultura medio-alta, residenti a Milano) con un'esperienza di maternità "normale". I risultati mostrano che la solitudine č una scoperta tanto sgradevole quanto inaspettata e deriva: 1) dall'assenza dei partner, padri "nuovi" e coinvolti, spesso non altrettanto adeguati a cogliere la complessità del ruolo materno; 2) dalla mancanza di reti famigliari e sociali che forniscano alle donne condivisione e supporto, riducendo l'investimento e le attese sul partner.

Abstract:

Burn time errors caused by various start-up transient effects have a significant influence on the regression modelling of hybrid rockets. Their influence is especially pronounced in the simulation model of the Cascaded Multi Impinging Jet (CAMUI) hybrid rocket engine. This paper analyses these transient burn time errors and their effect on the regression simulations for short burn time engines. To address these errors, the equivalent burn time is introduced and is defined as the time the engine would burn if it were burning at its steady-state level throughout the burn time to achieve the measured total impulse. The accuracy of the regression simulation with and without the use of equivalent burn time is then finally compared. Equivalent burn time is shown to address the burn time issue successfully for port regression and, therefore, also for other types of cylindrical port hybrid rocket engines. For the CAMUI-specific impinging jet fore-end and back-end surfaces, though, the results are inconclusive.

The Camuno dialect uses an auxiliary fa ‘do’ in an interrogative construction that strongly resembles English do-support. Stages of its grammaticalization remain within the different valley dialects. When optional, fa-support (FS) coexists with verb-subject clitic inversion (SCI), e.g fa-la mangià (does she eat) / màngia-la (eats-she)‘l peh da hena? (the fish for supper?) There are semantic restrictions on the type of supported verb: manner > result > state. Questions are pragmatically marked with speaker answer expectations, and are opinion-seeking. A wh-item (normally ‘insitu’) has specific reference. Impersonal questions are agrammatical with optional FS but not obligatory FS. A biclausal model with a lexically rich fa ‘do’ is suggested for optional FS.

Abstract:

A modified regression rate formula for the uppermost stage of CAMUI-type hybrid rocket motor is proposed in this study. Assuming a quasi-steady, one-dimensional, an energy balance against a control volume near the fuel surface is considered. Accordingly, the regression rate formula which can calculate the local regression rate by the quenching distance between the flame and the regression surface is derived. An experimental setup which simulates the combustion phenomenon involved in the uppermost stage of a CAMUI-type hybrid rocket motor was constructed and the burning tests with various flow velocities and impinging distances were performed. A PMMA slab of 20 mm height, 60 mm width, and 20 mm thickness was chosen as a sample specimen and pure oxygen and O2/N2mixture (50/50 vol.%) were employed as the oxidizers. The time-averaged regression rate along the fuel surface was measured by a laser displacement sensor. The quenching distance during the combustion event was also identified from the observation. The comparison between the purely experimental and calculated values showed good agreement, although a large systematic error was expected due to the difficulty in accurately identifying the quenching distance.

La scrittura è stata introdotta nell’Italia antica attraverso il contatto tra i navigatori greci e le aristocrazie etrusche dell’età Orientalizzante. Entrando a far parte dei rapporti cerimoniali tra pari, si è diffusa rapidamente presso le popolazioni vicine e nel corso del VI secolo a. C. ha assunto un valore identitario etnico, dando vita a un mosaico di diverse tradizioni grafiche, volta per volta derivate direttamente dalla scrittura greca o attraverso la mediazione etrusca o latina. L’autore dedica alcune pagine introduttive al processo storico di trasmissione e adattamento della scrittura e poi passa in rassegna i domini epigrafici etrusco, falisco, latino, celtico, veneto, retico, camuno, paleo-italico, paleo-sabellico, ausone, osco e umbro. In conclusione, alcuni spunti per la ricerca futura vengono brevemente accennati.

En este artículo se presenta el diseño de una metodología para evaluar los parámetros petrofísicos de los pozos Joropo-1, Ojo de Tigre 1, Ojo de Tigre 2ST, Ojo de Tigre 3y Camungo-1 localizados en el bloque Joropo, y el pozo Agualinda ubicado en el bloque adyacente Jaguar, pertenecientes a los Llanos Orientales de Colombia. Esta metodología busca la aplicación de métodos confiables para la evaluación deformaciones apoyándose en el uso de la plataforma Geographix Discovery de Halliburton. Los parámetros del conjunto roca -fluido que se evalúan son porosidad, permeabilidad, saturación de fluidos y resistividad de agua de formación. La resistividad del agua de formación es un parámetro afecta considerablemente la estimación de la saturación de agua, Sw, que es el objetivo principal de la evaluación. Dada la importancia de este parámetro, se usaron los métodos de Pickett, perfil Rway Dresser Atlas para determinar su valor y establecer un criterio de comparación y selección.

Abstract:

In this article we present an approach to financial data analysis and anomaly discovery. In our view, the assessment of performance management requires the monitoring of financial performance indicators (KPIs) and the characteristics of changes in KPIs over time. Based on this assumption, behavioral change indicators (BCIs) are introduced to detect and evaluate the changes in traditional KPIs in time series. Three types of BCIs are defined: absolute change indicators (BCI-A), relative change indicators (ratio indicators BCI-RE), and delta change indicators (D-BCI). The technique and advantages of using BCIs to identify unexpected deviations and assess the nature of KPI value changes in time series are discussed and illustrated in case studies. The architecture of the financial data analysis system for financial data anomaly detection is presented. The system prototype uses the Camunda business rules engine to specify KPIs and BCI thresholds. The prototype was successfully put into practice for an analysis of actual financial records (historical data).

Abstract:

Cet article rend compte d’une analyse de la traduction de collocations avec le nom gniew (‘colère’) dans la pièce de théâtre de Karol Wojtyła Brat naszego Boga (Frère de notre Dieu) en français, et propose des traductions de ces collocations en néerlandais. Pour l’analyse sémantico-discursive des collocations avec gniew (‘colère’), nous avons établi un modèle méthodologique dans lequel nous avons intégré – à partir de la définition de la colère par Eckman – des éléments de cette émotion (en tant que processus) et leur réalisation linguistique qui se présente sous la forme d’une collocation verbo-nominale (du type V+N ou N+V) selon l’approche cognitive de la collocation proposée par Śliwa. L’analyse des collocations ouvre une perspective contrastive afin de repérer d’éventuelles difficultés dans la traduction des collocations verbo-nominales avec gniew. Pour faciliter une description plus détaillée du degré de correspondance de la traduction de ces collocations, nous avons eu recours au schéma de Camugli Gallardo. Cette étude nous permet d’affirmer qu’une approche sémantico-discursive appliquée à l’analyse comparative de la traduction de certaines unités lexicales ; telles les collocations – pourrait être adoptée comme point de départ pour définir les critères permettant d’évaluer la qualité d’une traduction.

Abstract:

Process-driven applications evolve rapidly through the interaction between executable BPMN (Business Process Modeling and Notation) models, business tasks, and external services. Given these components operate on some shared process data, it is imperative to recover the latent data by visiting relation, which is known as data flow among these tasks. Data flow will benefit some typical applications including data flow anomaly checking and data privacy protection. However, in most cases, the complete data flow in a business process is not explicitly defined but hidden in model elements such as form declarations, variable declarations, and program code. Some methods to recovering data flow based on process model analysis of source code have some drawbacks; i.e., for security reasons, users do not want to provide source code but only encapsulated methods; therefore, data flows are difficult to analyze. We propose a method to generate running logs that are used to produce a complete data flow picture combined with the static code analysis method. This method combines the simple and easy-to-use characteristics of static code analysis methods and makes up for the shortcomings of static code analysis methods that cannot adapt to complex business processes, and as a result, the analyzed data flow is inaccurate. Moreover, a holistic framework is proposed to generate the data flow graph. The prototype system designed on Camunda and Flowable BPM (business process management) engine proves the applicability of the solution. The effectiveness of our method is validated on the prototype system.

Abstract:

Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo realizar um diagnóstico da arborização em quatro praças da cidade de Guaçuí - ES. Foi realizado o censo quali-quantitativo dos indivíduos com diâmetro à altura do peito (CAP) ? 5,0 cm. Constatou-se que Poincianella pluviosa (DC.) L.P.Queiroz foi a única com frequência (31,9%) superior a recomendada. As famílias Arecaceae (30 indivíduos; nove espécies) e Fabaceae (48 indivíduos; sete espécies) tiveram maior riqueza e abundância. O número de espécies exóticas (22) foi superior ao número de nativas (nove), indicando a necessidade de implantação de mais espécies nativas. A qualidade geral da arborização urbana foi satisfatória, embora sejam necessários manejos específicos em alguns locais. A área circundante à Prefeitura teve as piores condições de fitossanidade (ruim: 16,7%) e do sistema radicular, com 20,0% das árvores causando danos moderados ou severos ao piso. Na Praça Vicente Camuzi a maior demanda por alguma forma de poda (57,1%) e na Praça João Acacinho encontrou-se a maior proporção de árvores com qualidade de copa ruim (12,2%). Os índices de sombreamento arbóreo foram satisfatórios, mas os índices de densidade arbórea foram inferiores aos recomendados. Infere-se que a arborização das áreas públicas pesquisadas teve boas características quali-quantitativas, mas necessita de algumas intervenções.
