Abstract:

Abstract:
Abstract Makassar as a developing city is experiencing development from the transportation sector. This resulted in the increasing number of vehicles. The increase in the number of vehicles produces emissions that cause air pollution, including NO2 emissions from motor vehicles. Currently NO2 concentration can be determined by direct measurement using the Gries Saltman method and pollutant prediction using the Caline program. This research was conducted on the Makassar city toll road which is divided into nine sample points. This study aims to determine the level of NO2 concentration from the transportation sector on the Makassar city toll road. Concentration results from direct measurements and predictions of caline are compared to show the level of concentration present. The results of the NO2 concentration are still below the threshold value that has been set in the latest applicable regulations, which is 200 g/Nm3 with a measurement time of 1 hour. The high or low value of NO2 concentration is influenced by the vehicle volume factor, where the NO2 concentration increases along with the increase in vehicle volume. In addition, it is also influenced by meteorological factors. Based on the results of the Caline-4 software output, the results obtained from the distribution of NO2 concentrations at each receptor found on the Toll Road in Makassar City, it can be stated that it is still below the threshold value set in the latest applicable regulations, which is 200 g/Nm3 with time measurement for one hour.

Abstract:
An increase in traffic volume has resulted in the deterioration of environmental quality and human health in Yangon as well as in the surrounding areas that are connected to the city via several road links. The Yangon Outer Ring Road Construction (YORR) (Eastern Section) is a priority project for solving traffic-related problems. This study aimed to simulate the current levels of PM2.5 concentration around the proposed YORR (Eastern Section) area using the CALINE 4 model and to evaluate the model’s performance. Air quality measurements of PM2.5 were carried out in five townships around the proposed road construction area-for one week at each monitoring location-from January 24th to March 2nd, 2021 using the Haz-Scanner Environmental Perimeter Air Station. When compared to the ambient air quality guidelines of Myanmar, the International Finance Corporation, and the World Health Organization, the observed PM2.5 concentrations were found to be usually high at all locations, except in Kyauktan township. Statistical analysis indicated that the CALINE 4 model performed satisfactorily with a coefficient of determination of 0.85-0.90, fractional bias of 0.03-0.50, and normalized mean square error of 0.001-0.100. It is crucial that mitigation measures, including policies regarding the use of low PM emission vehicles and road-side barriers, be implemented by regulatory authorities during and after the YORR construction.

Abstract:
One of the weaknesses of current line-source models for predicting downwind concentrations from mobile sources is accounting for the dispersion of effluents. Most of the investigators in the field have taken different approaches over the last 50 years, ranging from the use of Pasquill–Gifford (P-G) dispersion curves to the use of equations based on atmospheric turbulence for point source dispersion. Madiraju and Kumar (2021) proposed a three-phase turbulence (TPT) model using the key features of mobile source dispersion that appear in the existing literature. This paper examines the performance of line-source models using an updated TPT model. The generic dispersion equations were considered from the SLINE 1.1, CALINE 4, ADMS, and SLSM models. Multiple air quality field data sets collected by other investigators near the roadways were used during this study. These include field data collected from the Idaho Falls Tracer Experiment 2008 (used as the dataset to compare with the initial model), the CALTRANS Highway 99 Tracer experiment, and the Raleigh 2006 experiment. The predicted concentrations were grouped under unstable and stable atmospheric conditions. The evaluation of the model was performed using several statistical parameters such as FB, NMSE, R2, MG, VG, MSLE, and MAPE. The results indicate that the ADMS and SLINE 1.1 models perform better than CALINE4 and SLSM. SLINE 1.1 tends to overpredict for stable atmospheric conditions and underpredict for unstable atmospheric conditions. A trial test was performed to implement the TPT model in the basic line-source model (SLSM). The results indicate that the majority (FB, NMSE, R2, and MSLE) of the indicators have improved and are in the satisfactory range of a good model performance level.

Abstract:
Construction of the National Railway Station Cross Station Kedundang - New Yogyakarta Airport Station is an accelerated development program in supporting the economy of the special region of Yogyakarta. Construction of the railroad as a consequence of infrastructure development that enables potential impacts on the surrounding environment. This study is a predictive study of air quality that might occur after operational construction of a fire pathway with Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) with the Gas Sampler-Spectrophotometer-Saltzman Method, Carbon Monoxide (CO) with the gas sampler-NDIR analyzer method and dust particles with the dust sample, Hi-Vol gravimetric method. The data obtained is then converted into modeling using Caline 4 software, so that air quality prediction is obtained at the time of operation. Air quality category predictions use the standard air pollution index standard. The results of the analysis of the air quality parameters show a good category, only on the CO2 parameters that address high concentrations. however, based on CO2 conversion using the value of the Air Pollution Standard Index is predicted to remain in the "Good" category at the time of project operation. Therefore an air quality study is needed in the railroad development plan through an analysis study of environmental impacts, so that the management and monitoring of air quality can be carried out properly so as to cause disruption to the environment.

Abstract:
Quartz crystal microbalances (QCMs) were utilized for the detection of the noble gas xenon (Xe) by combining them with different recognition layers such as permethylated calixarenes (tetramethyl-tert-butylcalix[4]arene (Cal4Me), hexamethyl-tert-butylcalix[6]arene (Cal6Me)), and polyurethanes, with covalently embedded Cal4OH (Poly4Cal), or Cal6OH (Poly6Cal). A third type of sensitive material is synthesized from polyacrylic acid (PAA) and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and utilized as a sensitive coating. The results demonstrate that the Cal4Me layer gives higher response towards Xe, while, by the use of a second uncoated QCM channel, the influence of ambient humidity could be nearly completely compensated by signal subtraction. Moreover, the Cal4Me sensor shows excellent reversibility and rapid response time, providing a potentially reliable way to determine Xe during anaesthesia.

High dielectric constant of CaCu3Ti4O12 (CCTO) has drawn a great deal of intention these past years as potential material for capacitor and even micro-electronic applications. In this research, an attempt has been made to investigate the relationship between the calcination temperature and the dielectric properties of CCTO. The calcination of CCTO at lower temperature (below 1000○C) provides incomplete reaction process, where the secondary phase is detected on the sample. Calcination at 1040○C provides a single phase as just same with the control sample (sample which had gone through both phase calcine and sinter). It is also found that calcination at 1040○C provides the dielectric properties that almost the same with the calcine-sinter sample.

Abstract:
Calina papaya is very popular with the public because of its rough, thick flesh texture, very sweet taste, oval-shaped fruit with medium size. The demand for calina papaya which tends to increase must be accompanied by high and continuous productivity through fertilization, for that it is necessary to do research on the intensity of fertilization and its efficiency with the application of biopori. The purpose of this study was to examine the role of biopore and fertilization intensity on the quantity and quality of calina papaya production. The study was carried out in the generative phase in the rice fields of Kemuning Sari Kidul village (50 m asl), Jenggawah District, Jember Regency using a randomized block design (RBD) with a 3 x 3 factorial pattern and repeated three times. The factors studied were the number of biopori (B) per tree consisting of B1 = 4 biopori per tree; B2= 3 biopori per tree; B3 = 2 biopori per tree and fertilization intensity (I) consists of I1 = fertilization 1 time per month; I2= fertilization 2 times per month; I3 = fertilization 3 times per month. The results showed that the intensity of fertilization 3 times per month significantly resulted in the highest fruit weight and sugar content. The fruit weights in the 2nd and 3rd measurements were 1.83 kg and 1.72 kg, respectively, the subsequent measurements were not significantly different, ranging from 1.1 to 1.3 kg, the intensity of fertilization 3 times per month also resulted in higher sugar content, namely 14 -15% brix. The combination of 4 biopore holes and fertilization intensity 3 times per month (B1I3) resulted in higher fruit weight at the 6th measurement, namely 1.33 kg. The intensity of fertilization and the use of biopori on the parameters of productive internodes and abnormal fruit did not show a significant difference.

Abstract:
Compression bandaging is the mainstay therapy for chronic venous insufficiency and venous leg ulcers, but patient compliance can be challenging due to associated discomfort. The study discussed here aimed to compare AndoFlex TLC Calamine and Coban2 compression bandaging in relation to patient comfort and pruritus symptomology, with severity of pruritus as the primary outcome. This was a multi-centre, prospective, non-blinded, randomised controlled crossover trial involving 39 randomised patients with chronic venous insufficiency patients. In two periods, the patients wore AndoFlex TLC Calamine or Coban2 for 3 weeks each. No significant differences in validated pruritus outcome measures were observed, including a non-significant treatment effect for the severity of pruritus scale (n=35 trial completers; p-value=0.24, Wilcoxon test). However, after trying both bandages, 21 of the 35 patients (60%) definitely preferred AndoFlex TLC Calamine, whereas 4 patients (11%) definitely preferred Coban2. Thus, AndoFlex TLC Calamine compression bandage therapy was preferred by most patients, although this observation could not be confirmed using validated patient-reported outcome measures for pruritus. Further research is indicated to establish if patient preference translates into favourable clinical outcomes. ISRCTN number: ISRCTN95282887

(1)ObjectivesAssessment of the sensitivity, specificity, and reliability of IBP parameters and sets in patients with AxSpA.MethodsThis case-control study was conducted on 2 groups: the first group included 103 patients with AxSpA, and the other group included 103 patients with chronic mechanical back pain. A standardized questionnaire, addressing all items included in Calin, Berlin, and ASAS criteria sets, was applied by 2 rheumatologists (one senior and one junior) to both groups. The sensitivity, specificity, and reliability of the 3 sets and individual parameters were assessed.ResultsMorning stiffness > 30 minutes was the most specific parameter (81%), while the insidious onset was the most sensitive (98%). Calin set was the most sensitive set (88.1%), but it had the least specificity (60%). Adding the item of Morning stiffness > 30 minutes to Calin criteria resulted in improving the specificity of Calin criteria to 81%. Reliability of all parameters and the 3 sets showed moderate agreement (kappa 0.422–0.588) except for Morning stiffness > 30 minutes which showed good agreement (kappa 0.736) and night pain which showed fair agreement (kappa 0.388) (Table 1).Table 1.Reliability of IBP parameters and criteria setsIBP parameterKappa AgreementAge of onset less than 40 years1.000Insidious onset0.581Morning stiffness0.588Morning stiffness more than 30 min0.736Improvement with exercise0.566No improvement with rest0.422Improvement with exercise and no improvement with rest0.508Night pain0.388Awakening in night due to pain0.553Buttock pain0.504Global Evaluation0.951CriteriaCalin0.556Berlin0.496ASAS0.455modified. Abstract:
BackgroundBertolotti syndrome describes a lumbosacral transitional vertebra (LSTV) which causes symptoms, usually low back pain. LATV is a congenital anomaly where the L5 vertebra has an unusual morphology. Bertolotti syndrome is an under-recognised condition by clinicians.ObjectivesTo clarify the presentation of Bertolotti syndrome, whether there are features of inflammatory back pain (IBP) and the effect on quality of life.MethodsIn this pilot study, 62 patients with LSTV were identified on imaging (plain x-ray). Imaging was performed for a variety of indications, predominently for back pain. In total, 34 patients agreed to take part, with 18 returning questionnaires. Questionnaires were selected for face vailidity and included: Calin IBP Questionnaire, EQ-5D Questionnaire, Visual analogue pain scale (VAS-P). In view of Covid restrictions all contact was by phone and questionnaires were completed online or returned via post.Plain X-rays visualising the lumbar spine were assessed for radiological features of LSTV.ResultsSeventeen (94%) of the participants (n=18) recorded a VAS-P score >3, indicating a clinically significant level of pain. The mean VAS-P score was 6 (range of 2-9). 89% of respondents scored at least 3/5 in the Calin questionnaire. Of the 5 features of inflammatory back pain in the Calin questionnaire, 4 out of the 5 were reported by most respondents. The exception was ‘improvement on exercise’, which was only reported by 18% of respondents. Quality of life was impaired-EQ-5D (mean: 0.503, range -0.074 to 0.796).The commonest radiological abnormality was enlarged transverse process (100%) followed by pseudoarticulation with the sacrum (83%) and scoliosis (33%). Presence of sclerosis and/or osteoarthritis at the pseudoarticulation was associated with worse pain scores. Female respondents reported worse pain.ConclusionThese results suggest Bertolotti syndrome is associated with pain in the majority of patients and affects quality of life,. The character and site of the pain suggests that Bertollotti syndrome should be considered in the differential diagnosis of spondyloarthritis.REFERENCES:NIL.Acknowledgements:NIL.Disclosure of InterestsSimon Stebbings Consultant of: Abbvie.Janssen, Ciara White: None declared, Terence Doyle: None declared.

Abstract:
In this study, we searched for methods to modify commercial titania in pursuit of new low cost photocatalyst which can operate effectively under visible irradiation. Mixtures of TiO2 and KF were calcined in the region of 800 - 1000°C at different calcine duration to obtain FTO. XRD data indicated the existence of 3 phases K2Ti6013, K4Ti4F10O6.3H20 and anatase. SEM photographs revealed that initial TiO2 particles (TO) had distorted cubic shape and their size ranged from 100 to 500 tun. While FTO particles had cylindrical form of more 1 μm in length. Under visible irradiation, photoactivity of FTO on blue methylene decomposition is equivalent to P25 (conversion 60% after 4 hours) and double TO.

Abstract:
Abstract The software compensation algorithms developed for the CALICE Analog Hadron Calorimeter are extended to incorporate time information on the cell level, and the performance is studied in GEANT4 simulations with a detector model of a highly-granular SiPM-on-tile calorimeter. The addition of nanosecond-level time resolution is found to result in significant improvement of the energy resolution by approximately 3 % to 4 % for local software compensation compared to the software compensation based on local energy density alone, with further improvement possible with better timing resolution. The high correlation of energy density and time variables show that both provide sensitivity to correlated underlying shower features, which limits the potential of timing information when used as a global rather than a local variable.

Abstract:
Marlin is the event processing framework of the iLCSoft [1] ecosystem. Originally developed for the ILC more than 15 years ago, it is now widely used also by other communities, such as CLICdp, CEPC and many test beam projects such as CALICE, LCTPC and EU-Telescope. While Marlin is lightweight and flexible it was originally designed for sequential processing only. With MarlinMT we have now evolved Marlin for parallel processing of events on multi-core architectures based on multi-threading. We report on the necessary developments and issues encountered, within Marlin as well as with the underlying LCIO [4] event data model (EDM). A focus will be put on the new parallel event processing (PEP) scheduler. We conclude with first performance estimates, like the application speedup and a discussion on histogram handling in parallel applications.

Abstract:
Intravascular thrombosis is one of the main causes of mortality in the working-age population of the world. There are no antithrombotic drugs that act directly on the final stage of thrombosis – fibrin polymerization. However, a new compound of the calix[4]arene series, calix[4]arene C-145, which directly interacts with the fibrin polymerization site ‘A-knob’ thus blocking formation of polymeric fibrin and preventing thrombosis. So, the purpose of this work was to study the calix[4]arene C-145 series as antithrombotic agents in vivo using different animals and types of administration. Materials and methods. Laboratory animals (rats, mice and rabbits) were used for C-145 testing in vivo. Activated partial thromboplastin time and platelet aggregation were measured to determine the anticoagulant action after intravenous or per os administration. Results. Per os way of administration was selected as the optimal one. We showed the substantial prolongation of clotting time in APTT test that was observed starting from the 2nd hour after the per os administration, reached the maximum on 6th hour and eliminated in 24 hours. The effect of C-145 on platelets reached maximum on 4-6 hours and eliminated in 12 hours. Conclusions. C-145 was proven to be prospective antithrombotic drug that can be administered per os. Further investigations must be focused on the study of C-145 pharmacodynamics and metabolism. Such data would allow fast implementation of the tested compound into practice.

Abstract:
Previously sodium salt of 5,11,17,23-bis (dihydroxyphosphoryl) methylcalix[4]arene (C-145) was shown to be promising antithrombotic agent. Aim. This work was focused on the development of the method for the direct detection of this substance in blood plasma and estimation of pharmacokinetics of this compound. Methods. C-145 was injected into the Wistar rat’s lateral tail vein and into rabbit’s marginal vein of the ear (12 mg/kg) or was administrated per-oral. The anticoagulant effects of C-145 in blood plasma were confirmed by activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) test. HPLC was performed using Agilent 1100 series (Agilent, USA) on the phase cyano ZorbaxCN Column which parameters were L×I.D. 25 cm×4.6 mm. Results. The maximal antithrombotic effect after the intravenous or per-oral administration of C-145 was observed after 4-6 hours. In particular clotting time in APTT-test in these blood plasma samples was prolonged trice and more (120 s against 46 s in control). Normalization of blood clotting was achieved after 24 hours after the injection. To develop a method for direct C-145 detection in blood plasma we selected samples with maximal prolongation of clotting time. For accurate analysis of blood plasma samples proteins were saturated by 10 % trichloroacetic acid. After neutralization by NaHCO3 samples were prepared using 12-port vacuum unit for solid-phase extraction (Agilent, USA) with a Bond-Elut C18 cartridge. Samples that contained C-145 were eluted by 100% methanol for the HPLC analysis performed on the phase cyano ZorbaxCN Column equilibrated with an acetonitrile solution (ddH2O:AcCN 99:1). Elution was performed using a combined gradient of acetonitrile (100 %) and citrate buffer (0.1 M, pH 6.0). The elution zone of C-145 was detected on the 128th minute at 280 nm. Conclusion. Application of the developed methods allowed us to confirm the direct antithrombotic effect of calix[4]arene C-145 on blood of experimental animals during intravenous administration. Also HPLC technique enabled to detect this substance in blood plasma and most likely could be applied for other biological solutions and could be modified for the quantitative analysis in the pharmacokinetic studies as well.

Abstract:
AbstractThe problematic calcified cnidarian Cambroctoconus is described from the Henson Gletscher Formation (Cambrian Series 2, Stage 4–Series 3, Stage 5) of North Greenland, representing the first record from Laurentia of a genus otherwise recently described from China, Kyrgyzstan, and Korea. Internal molds produced by penetrative phosphatization mirror the pervasive pore system of the calice walls and septa. The pore system is compared to the network of gastrodermal solenia that distributes nutrients between polyps and surrounding stolon tissues in present day octocorals. In conjunction with the octagonal form of the individual coralla and eight-fold symmetry of septa, the pore system promotes assignment of Cambroctoconus to the Octocorallia, a basal clade in cnidarian phylogeny. Octocorals (‘soft corals’) are diverse in present day seas, but have a poor fossil record despite the general development of distinctive calcareous spicules. New taxa: Order Cambroctoconida new; Cambroctoconus koori new species.

Abstract:
Aim. The purpose of the present study was to develop a method for the fixation of ‘fixed’ conformation for estimation of the impact of calix[4]arene structure on the efficacy of its anticoagulant activity. This was achieved by substitution of the lower rim of C-145 analogue. Methods.Calix[4]arene C-145F (compound 6) was obtained in 4 steps starting with Duff reaction. Calix[4]arene methylene-bis-phosphonic ester 3 was prepared via addition of diisopropylphosphite in presence of metallic sodium to the parent calix[4]arene aldehyde 2. Further steps included Mitsunobu reaction, that afforded dipropoxycalix[4]arene 5 with rather good yields (80%), following the hydrolysis step that resulted in compound 6 in almost quantitative yield. Modeling of 3D-structure of calix[4]arene C-145 and its analogue C-145F was performed in Maestro, Schrodinger software. Results. Using a 2D NMR-NOESY spectroscopy, we can observe a distinct cross-peak between an aromatic singlet with a chemical shift on 7.72 ppm and protons of isopropyl group with a chemical shift on 1.62 ppm, which are moved in the strong field. Conclusions. The easy method of the fixation of conus conformation of calix[4]arene cup will be useful for synthesis of novel functionally active compounds. We believe that further development and study of different calix[4]arenes will help scientists to obtain bioactive molecules that could be prospective anti-thrombotic drugs.

Abstract:
Abstract High phylogenetic conservation of genomic loci is a potential marker of essential biological functionality. Ultraconserved elements (UCEs) are DNA sequences entirely conserved through millions of years of evolution, but their functions are not well understood. Several long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are transcribed from UCEs and play active roles in cancer development. Using a combination of in vitro and in vivo experiments with two animal models and 4 patient cohorts, we discovered several remarkable aspects of ultraconservation. Using a multi-step genetically defined carcinogenesis model, we identified one UCE, uc.206, and its associated overexpressed lncRNA TRUC-16 as a regulator of cell proliferation in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). High levels of TRUC-16 inhibit p16INK4A translation, causing increased proliferation through an E2F1-mediated mechanism in CLL patients, as well as in zebrafish and murine models. uc.206/TRUC-16 function is extremely conserved throughout evolution. We found cell cycle-related effects of TRUC-16 in both mice and zebrafish, in which we observed increased proliferation of blood cells after overexpression of the human TRUC-16. High levels of CDK4/6 consequent to TRUC-16 overexpression and p16 decrease can be specifically targeted in both CLL and Richter’s Transformation (RT), a rare but deadly consequence of CLL. Inhibition of CDK6 is a therapeutic option never tested in CLL, but in use for another type of B cell malignancy, such as the mantle cell lymphoma. Our results highlight the multifaceted contribution of a UCE to human tumorigenesis and open new possibilities for the use of long-noncoding RNAs in cancer therapies. Abstract:
The effect of marine calcite (containing calcium and silicon mainly) foliar fertilization on the sugar beet root yield and technological quality relative to the control (treatment 0) was investigated. Study was conducted in 2011–2012 in the southeastern region of Poland, in Sahryń (50°41'N, 23°46'E). The cultivar of sugar beet was Danuśka KWS. Two treatments of foliar fertilization: (1) treatment (in the stage of 4–6 sugar leaves – 262.0 g Ca/ha, 79.9 g Si/ha, and three weeks later – 524.0 g Ca/ha, 159.8 g Si/ha); and (2) treatment (in the stage of 4–6 sugar leaves – 524.0 gCa/ha, 159.8 g Si/ha, three weeks later – 524.0 g Ca/ha, 159.8 g Si/ha). Calcium and silicon foliar fertilization resulted in increases of: (1) the root yield (average for both treatments about 13.1%; (2) the leaf yield (about 21.0%); (3) the biological sugar yield (about 15.5%), and (4) technological yield of sugar (about 17.7%) compared with the control treatment. At the same time a positive effect on the roots technological quality was found. It was a significant reduction of alpha-amino-nitrogen content and tended to reduce the content of potassium and sodium.

Abstract:
Background:Inflammatory back pain (IBP) is the most prominent clinical feature for an early diagnosis of axial spondyloarthritis. The performance of the criteria sets for IBP has not yet been assessed in clinical practice in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).Objectives:To assess and to compare the performance of different IBP criteria sets in axial spondyloarthritis (SpA) outpatients attending the rheumatology unit of the University Hospital of Kinshasa, DRC.Methods:One hundred and eight Congolese outpatients with axial SpA defined by rheumatologist’s clinical judgment were included in the spondyloarthritis cohort of the University Hospital of Kinshasa from March 1st2015 to February 28, 2017. Calin criteria, Berlin criteria and ASAS criteria sets for IBP were performed to assess their performance against clinical judgment. Detailed history, clinical examination and imaging of sacroiliac joints by plain radiography were obtained. Sacroiliac joint radiographic lesions were scored with the modified New York criteria. Magnetic resonance imaging and HLA B27 were not performed. Fifty additional patients with a diagnosis of chronic (>3 months) mechanical low back pain (MLBP) were included as control group. The performance of each item and different criterias was evaluated using sensitivity, specificity, and likelihood ratio (LR). Baseline characteristics of the mechanical and inflammatory back pain cohorts were compared with chi-square or Student t tests as appropriate. Results:The mean age was 43.8±15.1 years in SpA patients versus 62.4±9.1 years in controls (MLBP patients) with respective sex ratio (M/F) of 1/0.8 and 1/2.1. There were significantly more male patients in the ankylosing spondylitis (AS) group than in the non-radiographic axial spondyloarthritis group (p<0.01). Among the criteria sets, Calin criteria showed the best sensitivity (92.6%) while the Berlin criteria showed the best specificity (97.6%) in the detection of IBP patients. The new ASAS criteria for IBP compared to the two previous criteria sets did not show good sensitivity nor specificity (sensivity 80%, specificity 62%, LR+ 1.05 (0.90 – 1.22), LR- 0.52 (0.39 – 0.69), 95%CI).Conclusion:The Calin criteria set would be useful for epidemiological and clinical studies in DRC. The ASAS criteria set for IBP is not better than other criteria sets in the screening of IBP for Congolese patients with axSpA.References:[1]Heuft-Dorenbosch L, Landewe R, Weijers R et al.Performance of various criteria sets in patients with inflammatory back pain of short duration; the Maastricht early spondyloarthritis clinic Ann Rheum Dis 2007;66:92–98. doi: 10.1136/ard.2006.053918[2]Michele C. Abstract:
The scleractinian coral Cyphastrea is a common and widespread genus throughout the coral reefs of the Indo-Pacific. Little is known about the phylogenetic relationships within this taxon and species identification is based mainly on traditional skeletal characters, such as the number of septa, septa cycles, growth form and corallite dimensions. Here we present the first focussed reconstruction of phylogenetic relationships among Cyphastrea species, analysing 57 colonies from the Red Sea, where five morphospecies live in sympatry. Analyses based on three loci (nuclear histone H3, 28S rDNA and a mitochondrial intergenic region) reveal the existence of three well-supported molecular lineages. None of the five previously defined morphospecies are monophyletic and they cluster into two clades, suggesting the need of a systematic revision in Cyphastrea. The third lineage is described as C. magna Benzoni & Arrigoni, sp. nov., a new reef coral species collected from the northern and central Red Sea. Cyphastrea magna Benzoni & Arrigoni, sp. nov. is characterised by the largest corallite diameter among known Cyphastrea species, a wide trabecular columella >1/4 of calice width, and 12 equal primary septa. This study suggests that morphology-based taxonomy in Cyphastrea may not identify monophyletic units and strengthens the application of genetics in coral systematics.

Abstract:
The Hospitality industry is increasingly improving its services to be able to grow as a tourism sector grows. The indication of the growth of the industry can be seen from the rise of international chains that enter or participate in developing their business in Indonesia. In principle, the Chain Hotel is a group of Hotels that is a hotel chain with services that are equal after star hotel equivalence. For that hotel owners who will join a chain of hotels that have been formulated by the chain hotels and usually refer to standards that apply globally / globally. The terms of information technology, chain hotels have implemented standards that follow World standards. This is a technology that is leading to the information system. This is a concern of every hospital industry player to implement. Thus this research is expected to provide infrastructure standards for hotels, especially according to the appropriate ANSI / TIA / EIA standards. The Research Methodology used a continuous development improvement cycle where the cycle is formed into 4 stages, namely Research Formulation and Requirements Analysis, Problem Design and Solutions, Analysis and Discussion of Formulation of Solutions and Suggestions in Framework of Continuous Improvement. The results of this study formulate a template and the contents of a network infrastructure project document in the form of a structured caling system (SCS) and ANSITIA /EIA

Abstract:
Scientific research studies conducted in various parts of the world confirm that PM10 concentrations in urban air depend to a great extent on the resuspension processes of the dust deposited on the road surface. The paper presents the results of the study related to the determination of the re-entrained PM10 emissions from four selected streets of Krakow (Southern Poland) together with the assessment of its impact on air quality. Examined streets are characterised by different traffic intensity (from 500 to over 20 000 vehicles per day) and individual vehicle structure. Dust material sampling and estimation of the PM10 emission were conducted according to the U.S. EPA methodology (AP 42 Fifth Edition). Two variants of sample collection were applied: from the road surface including the area at the curb (4 streets) and from the road surface alone (1 street). The estimates of resuspended road dust emission as well as the reference values derived from the U.S. EPA guidelines were used to assess the impact of this emission on the PM10 levels in the air at the location of one of the analysed streets. This assessment was conducted using the CALINE4 mathematical model. The study showed that the PM10 emissions from the re-entrained road dust can be responsible for up to 25 % in the winter and 50 % in the summer of the total PM10 concentrations in the air near the roads.

Abstract:
Data about 4 474 high-yielding Estonian Holstein dairy cows from 14 herds was analysed for the impact of the first calving interval length (CI1) on milk yield (MY) and lactation persistency. The results show that cows with CI1 shorter than 12 months have on average 2 345 kg lower milk yield in the first 1 000 days of productive lifetime than those with CI1 between 14 and 16 months. This is caused by lower MY in both the first and the second lactation as well as higher probability of being culled before reaching 1 000 days of productive life.
