Abstract:
Let G and H be two connected graphs. Let c be a vertex k-coloring of aconnected graph G and let = fCg be a partition of V (G) into the resultingcolor classes. For each v 2 V (G), the color code of v is dened to be k-vector: c1; C2; :::; Ck(v) =(d(v; C1); d(v; C2); :::; d(v; Ck)), where d(v; Ci) = minfd(v; x) j x 2 Cg, 1 i k. Ifdistinct vertices have distinct color codes with respect to , then c is called a locatingcoloring of G. The locating chromatic number of G is the smallest natural number ksuch that there are locating coloring with k colors in G. The Cartesian product of graphG and H is a graph with vertex set V (G) V (H), where two vertices (a; b) and (a)are adjacent whenever a = a0and bb02 E(H), or aa0i2 E(G) and b = b, denotedby GH. In this paper, we will study about the locating chromatic numbers of thecartesian product of two paths, the cartesian product of paths and complete graphs, andthe cartesian product of two complete graphs.

Abstract:
Each \(p\)-ring class field \(K_f\) modulo a \(p\)-admissible conductor \(f\) over a quadratic base field \(K\) with \(p\)-ring class rank \(\varrho_f\) mod \(f\) is classified according to Galois cohomology and differential principal factorization type of all members of its associated heterogeneous multiplet \(\mathbf{M}(K_f)=\lbrack(N_{c,i})_{1\le i\le m(c)}\rbrack_{c\mid f}\) of dihedral fields \(N_{c,i}\) with various conductors \(c\mid f\) having \(p\)-multiplicities \(m(c)\) over \(K\) such that \(\sum_{c\mid f}\,m(c)=\frac{p^{\varrho_f}-1}{p-1}\). The advanced viewpoint of classifying the entire collection \(\mathbf{M}(K_f)\), instead of its individual members separately, admits considerably deeper insight into the class field theoretic structure of ring class fields. The actual construction of the multiplet \(\mathbf{M}(K_f)\) is enabled by exploiting the routines for abelian extensions in the computational algebra system Magma.

Abstract:
One main reason for the use of Fe-Cu-C system in PM industry is the presence of liquid phase (copper) at the start of sintering (1120oC). The diffusion of liquid copper into iron causes swelling in the structure. This in turn can cause high dimensional change and, if not controlled properly, may cause distortion. So it is of paramount importance to control the copper diffusion. Carbon, added as graphite, reduces the swelling of copper by changing the dihedral angle. The affect of graphite on copper diffusion depends on the graphite type, particle size of graphite and heating rate. The aim of this work was to find the influence of graphite type and particle size of graphite on copper diffusion. Water Atomized iron (ASC100.29) produced in Höganäs AB was taken as the base powder.  Two types of graphite were used each with two different particle sizes. Two different graphite quantities (0.2% & 0.8%) for each type was taken. Natural fine graphite (UF4), Natural coarse graphite (PG44), Synthetic fine graphite (F10) and  Synthetic coarse graphite (KS44) were the graphites used in this work. Powders were compacted at 600 Mpa and the sintering was done at 1120oC for 30 minutes in 90/10 N2/H2. Dilatometry and metallographic investigation of the samples sintered in the production furnace were used to understand the graphite influence.   The investigation showed that at low graphite levels (0.2%), the affect of graphite type or graphite size was not significant on copper diffusion. At high graphite levels (0.8%),  synthetic graphites were more effective in reducing the swelling of copper. Influence of  particle size of synthetic graphites on Cu diffusion was not significant compared to the influence of particle size of natural graphite. There was also a considerable affect of heating rate on graphite dissolution and copper swelling.

The origin of the Science of the Information as interdisciplinary science, enrolled in the Post-modern context, it considers information a product integrated to the social cycle that it foresees its circulation and use. In this sense, the Public Library, as institution that collect culture should contemplate the development of collections compromised with the local community's culture, making available a space in the society where the individual can exercise its creativity and the exaltation of his/her citizenship, contributing like this to the elaboration and preservation of the local cultural identity. To identify the way for which fellow creature process if it renders, it is made a historical rising of the appearance of the Public Libraries in Brazil, being drawn a parallel one among BP idealized by M?rio of Andrade and the characterization of the performance of first BP of Esp?rito Santo State. Finally, through empiric study, it tries to develop possibilities of effective viabilization of the access to the culture through BP.

Abstract:
This thesis presents the design and implementation of an interactive system for the development of prototyping environments. Our system, m. P. V. C. , follows closely our specific understanding of program construction in which each program is composed of three distincts parts. These parts are: the model, which describes the program's data organisation, the controller, which describes how to walkthrough this data organisation, and the point-of-view, which describes the interpretation of each step of the walkthrough. M. P. V. C. Is an object-oriented design method facillating the implementation of a large number of tools for the interpretation, manipulation, observation and animation of models representing programs and data structures. It allows to clearly separate the program's mechanical aspects of its semantic aspects. The mechanical aspects describe how to walkthrough the model, ignoring all possible interpretations. The interpretations are part of the semantic aspects. Users of m. P. V. C. Prototyping environment dispose of a set of very high level, graphical tools permitting to design easily, in a minimum amount of time, the model they want to prototype, multiple mechanical schemas able to walkthrough in different ways and multiple semantic schemas permitting to interprete in various ways each step of a walkthrough. Nothing excludes to apply these walkthroughs and or interpretations to multiple representations of the same model. As such, it favours an exploratory or experimental attitude towards prototyping. Users construct simultaneously the interpreters and the tools necessary to experiment and validate them. Another important aspect of m. P. V. C. Is that it permits to apply - in parallel - several different semantics to a same walkthrough of a model. It is this caracteristic which permit the system to he used for its own development and the observation of its own functioning

Abstract:
Given a (vertex)-coloring C = C 1 , C 2 , ...C m of P a digraph D and a positive integer k, the k-norm of C is defined as C k = m i=1 min C i, k. A coloring C is k-optimal if its k-norm C k is minimum over all colorings. A (path) k-pack P k is a collection of at most k vertex-disjoint paths. A coloring C and a k-pack P k are orthogonal if each color class intersects as many paths as possible in P k , that is, if C i k, C i P j = 1 for every path P j P k , otherwise each vertex of C i lies in a different path of P k . In 1982, Berge conjectured that for every k-optimal coloring C there is a k-pack P k orthogonal to C. This conjecture is false for arbitrary digraphs, having a counterexample with odd cycle. In this paper we prove this conjecture for bipartite digraphs.

Abstract:
The generation of large-amplitude, relativistic plasma waves is a subject of much current interest because of its potential use for ultrahigh gradient electron acceleration [2-5]. While conventional rf-driven accelerators are limited to fields ≤ 1 MV/cm, plasma accelerators have been shown experimentally to support gradients ~ 10 MV/cm [5]. The maximum axial electric field of a relativistic plasma wave, as predicted by 1D cold fluid theory, is the “wave-breaking” field [6], E W B = ( m e c ω p / e ) 2 ( γ p − 1 ) , which can exceed 1 GV/cm, where ω p =(4πe2n e 0/m e )1/2is the electron plasma frequency, n e 0is the ambient electron density, γ p = ( 1 − v p 2 / c 2 ) − 1 / 2 , and v p is the phase velocity.

Abstract:
Let C be a right submodule of a free finite right module F over a finite Frobenius ring R. In order to facilitate the decoding of C, one can replace F by the minimal projective submodule P of F, containing C. Once R is Frobenius, P coincides with the injective envelope E(C) of C in F and can be constructed as the maximal essential extension of C in F. The work describes the injective envelope E(C) of an arbitrary module C over a residue ring Zm modulo a natural number m. Any choice of a basis of F is associated with an inner product on F and allows to describe the relations of C in F by its left orthogonal group (⊥C, +) < (F, +). Bearing in mind that the relations (⊥P, +) of P = E(C) in F are contained in (⊥C, +), one realizes the relations of C in P by the quotient group (⊥C, +)/(⊥P, +). The decoding of C in P = E(C) makes use of a generating set of (⊥C, +)/(⊥P, +), which is obviously smaller than a generating set of (⊥C, +), needed for a decoding of C in F.The present note discusses also Mac Williams Extension Theorem for codes C in finite right projective modules P over a finite Frobenius ring R. It establishes that any Hamming isometry of C in P lifts to a monomial transformation g of a free cover F of P. Moreover, if the kernel of the epimorphism F onto P is invariant under g then the Hamming isometry of C in P extends to a Hamming isometry of P with itself.
