Abstract:
WEB sites are playing very vital role in information dissemination. Most of the businesses are using their WEB sites to promote market and conduct business. The quality of the WEB sites has indirect relationship with quantum of business conduct by the industrial establishments. Quality of a web site is based on number of characteristics; computation of the same in quantitative terms is a complex process. Structure of a WEB site plays a vital role in hosting the content in most comprehensive manner. In this paper the subjecting of the WEB to data mining and determining the structures contained in the WEB site is presented. The structures are evaluated to find the quality of the same individually and also combined considering all the structures that are mined. A method is presented in this paper using which the quality of a web site is computed considering the structure of the WEB site alone.

Abstract:
Health care organizations are facing significant economic constraints that threaten to dismantle core services. The perceived need for reform is great. Business process reengineering may be the strong medicine required to achieve dramatic productivity improvement without jeopardizing the quality and scope of core health care services. Reengineering challenges health care organizations to eliminate functions that do not contribute to a flattened organization structure in which fewer care providers deliver a wider range of health care services. Information technology is used to displace manual checks and controls. Reengineering may facilitate the implementation of contemporary management models, such as patient-focused care, case management and product or program management. The product of reengineering can be enhanced over time by Continuous Quality Improvement.

Abstract:
This study examines the relationship between nursing home quality and financial performance to assess whether there is a business case for quality. Secondary data sources included the Online Survey Certification and Reporting (OSCAR), Certification and Survey Provider Enhanced Reporting (CASPER), Medicare Cost Reports, Minimum Data Set (MDS 2.0), Area Resource File (ARF), and LTCFocus for all free-standing, nongovernment nursing homes for 2000 to 2014. Data were analyzed using panel data linear regression with facility and year fixed effects. The dependent variable, financial performance, consisted of the operating margin. The independent variables comprised nursing home quality measures that capture the three dimensions of Donabedian’s structure-process-outcomes framework: structure Registered Nurse (RN) hours per resident day, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) hours per resident day, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) hours per resident day, RN skill mix), process (facility-acquired restraints, facility-acquired catheters, pressure ulcer prevention, and restorative ambulation), and outcomes (facility-acquired contractures, facility-acquired pressure ulcers, hospitalizations per resident, rehospitalizations, and health deficiencies). Control variables included size, average acuity index, market competition, per capita income, and Medicare Advantage penetration rate. This study found that the operating margin was lower in nursing homes that reported higher LPN hours per resident day and higher RN skill mix (structure); higher use of catheters, lower pressure ulcer prevention, and lower restorative ambulation (process); and more residents with contractures, pressure ulcers, hospitalizations and health deficiencies (outcomes). The results suggest that there is a business case for quality, whereas nursing homes that have better processes and outcomes of care perform better financially.

Abstract:
In the past decade, offshore business process outsourcing (BPO) has gained considerable momentum within the global economic landscape. Western companies tend to outsource their business processes to emerging economies, such as India. Research indicates that high quality communication is a crucial element in the success of outsourcing relationships. However, in practice, communication is a problematic factor. In this paper, the authors analyse this complexity by developing and applying a theoretically based BPO-communication quality model. In the empirical part of this study, communication attributes associated with business process outsourcing are investigated through semi-structured interviews with Indian insourcing managers. Multiple communication issues are identified and categorized into several main attributes of communication quality. The model and the findings can be used for further research in the field of BPO. In addition, practical suggestions are provided to resolve the current communication problems and improve outsourcing relationships.

Abstract:
An approach to the application of a situational-ontological methodology for building a decision support system for the subject area of internal audit of enterprise quality is outlined. The problem associated with high requirements for the competence of specialists in this field is noted. For the subject area of internal quality audit, a conceptual model has been developed in the form of its functional diagram. Using the IDEF5 standard, an ontological model of one of the main functions of the quality audit business process has been developed, and an approach to organizing the storage of business process information in a database has been proposed. For the function of classifying the causes of inconsist-encies in quality audit, an example of setting up a solver of an intelligent component of a decision support system is given. Significant decision-making points in the business process of quality audit are identified, and the structure of interaction of its participants with the intellectual subsystem of the decision support system is formed. The structure of the intellectual subsystem of the decision support system used in the process of quality audit at the enterprise is pro-posed.

Abstract:
Competition in today’s globalized markets forces organizations to collaborate within dynamic business networks to provide mass-customized integrated solutions for customers. The collaboration within dynamic business networks necessitates forming dynamic networked business processes (DNBPs). Networked business processes need to be supported by high quality information that is exchanged in a trustworthy environment. Information governance (IG) is described as a holistic approach to different mechanisms that support high quality and secure information exchanges. However, dynamism of networked business processes causes IG issues like unsecured information access and low quality information products to emerge. In this paper, a comprehensive list of the IG issues in DNBPs is identified through structured steps. The identified IG issues are characterized within four main categories, respectively, information product quality, information service quality, information security, and metadata issues. For the evaluation of the practical significance of the identified IG issues, a case study is conducted in a business network that provides mobility solutions. In this way, the paper closes the gap between studies on IG, which have mostly concentrated on IG within the borders of a single organization or IG in stable business networks, and studies on dynamic business networks, which have addressed the formation of dynamic inter-organizational interactions without paying rigorous attention to information artefacts that are exchanged.

Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to propose a method for the optimization of raw wood for the timber construction industry that would meet the green business and sustainable development requirements within the concept of corporate social responsibility. The methodology conceptually applied the ImageJ software in the process of spruce-timber valuation using 100 log specimens according to the standard STN 480055. The impact of timber structure on the environment compared to silicate buildings was assessed via selected environmental criteria of life-cycle assessment. The methodology was applied according to the standards within the monitored phase of the life-cycle cradle to a gate based on the available environmental products declaration. The overall difference in the assortment value when using the ImageJ software as the evaluation method reached €426.68 (+6.7%). The individual construction elements creating the composition of perimeter walls of the evaluated alternatives showed a positive impact of the following indicators: global warning potential, primary energy input for production, ozone depletion potential, and photochemical ozone creation potential of the reference timber structure. The findings presented in this study clearly confirm the ecological approach toward building a wood-based structure while meeting the requirements of sustainable development.

Abstract:
Business process is the foundation of the work organization of every business. It is a set of different activities or tasks that are carried out in a certain order and use certain resources of an organization with the aim of fulfilling the mission or the purpose of its existence. As each business process is defined by parameters such as output quality, speed, cost, added value and the like, it is logical that they are the cornerstone of achieving competitive advantage. It is therefore important to monitor and analyze them in order to remove any drawbacks in their performance before endangering the survival of a company. Business process is a structured, analytical, inter-functional set of activities that require continuous improvement. It represents a repetitive flow of activities with a clearly defined beginning and end, and in more or less constant intervals, creates value for the buyers.

Abstract:
Abstract Background and Purpose: Self-organization in teams and Business Process Orientation have been subjects of many separate researches, yet there is lack of research actually joining it within a common research. The purpose of our research is to define a research model for new type of service organization - called SOPO (Self-Organised Process Organization). This model sets research base to determine SOPO’s maturity level and a self-assessment tool, helping new emergence or transitions of existing organization toward SOPO. Methodology: We conducted a case researches in three ICT service companies, which were undergoing a transition process towards SOPO. We conducted several in-depth, un-structured and structured part of interviews with employees holding three different positions in each organization. Hereby we present the researched organisation with most explicit case. Results: We defined the key elements of the model and tested it in a case research. Key elements are Self-Organised Work Teams (SOWT) and Business Process Orientation (BPO). Both SOWT and BPO are positively affecting level of SOPO. Level of SOPO is positively related to both, enthusiasm of personnel to work in self-organised environment and perceived Quality of Service (QS). Conclusion: SOPO model can be used: (1) in existing companies as a blueprint for SOPO implementation, (2) to assess the maturity level of companies reinventing their organizational structure, and (3) helping SOPO organizations to structure changes toward higher service quality. SOPO model is a viable starting point in further research. Further verification of the SOPO model by a quantitative research is needed.

Abstract:
Meeting the needs of the rural population in all types of primary health care (pre-medical and general medical care), as well as specialized medical care, improving the quality of medical care for the rural population is an important public health problem that is difficult to solve and is of particular concern to government structures at all levels of government. The article presents an analysis of the literature on the use of business processes in modern healthcare, the main tasks of which are the creation and development of effective models for the provision of medical care that increase not only its accessibility and quality, but also the satisfaction of the population. As part of the activities of the modernization program for the implementation of information technology in healthcare, it is planned to create information resources and services that would allow, using this system tool, to move to a qualitatively new level of organization of industry management. It is noted that at present, at the level of management of the medical organization as a whole, and in the management of individual areas of its activity, the application of the process approach is becoming relevant, in which the medical organization can be considered as a separate business system, which is a related set of business processes, the ultimate goal which, undoubtedly, is the provision of quality medical services. It is shown that the development and modeling of business processes will increase the relevance of management information, will make it possible to focus on rationalizing cross-functional processes to significantly reduce time and / or costs, increase revenue, improve service quality and reduce risks, the information system allows you to simulate processes and carry them out further optimization. The analyzed works examine the experience of process-oriented management in medical organizations and its role in ensuring the improvement of the quality of medical services provided. In addition, the introduction of a process approach will allow the application of certain managerial decisions necessary in each specific situation, including in the field of medical services for the rural population.

Abstract:
Six Sigma is a systematic improvement method, a management approach designed to continuously improve corporate business processes and achieve customer requirement. This paper presents a case study conducted at a cell phone manufacturing company that intended to use the DMAIC method to carry out a structured approach to Six Sigma projects with fewer defective units generated by the cell phone hot press in process. In this process, Boss cracking and torque force failure led to high scrap costs and line downtime, which ultimately affected the supply of the assembly line. To this end, the Six Sigma approach was applied starting with the problem being defined, measured, and exhaustively analyzed to determine the root cause: poor injection molding structure, metal insert not perpendicular to the hole, improperly set molding machine parameters, and core/cavity dimension variation. A series of improvement measures addressing these factors increased the quality level of the process by improving the mold design to increase venting, optimizing the product structure to add the guide chamfer, and developing a standardized molding parameter setup procedure. Methods to maintain process control were also identified and implemented. The use of several quality tools and the use of Six Sigma methods also made the process more consistent.

Abstract:
The traditional management is hierarchically organized. The transition from traditional management to process management requires a radical shift in thinking from a command-and-control, personality based, top-down hierarchy to horizontal, process-oriented, team-oriented structure. Business model of an organization, implementing business process management, is realized through a network of processes. The goal of business process management is to systematically improve all processes, espesially core processes. Core processes are work processes that cross functional boundaries, produce an output that is strategically important to the organization's success and are essential for organization survival at market. Very often an organization has a set of busness processes which are improvement candidates. The problem is how to choose the set of processes whose performance improvement will do the best for organization at all. In this paper an approach for evaluation and selection of core processes is presented. The proposed approach is based on process' objects and the three-level hierarchical quality evaluation model.

ABSTRACTThis study provides new insight into guanxi practice and quality differences between business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-government (B2G) ties in China. The results, based on data obtained through structured interviews with 108 Chinese managers across eight cities in China, reveal stark differences between the practices used in developing B2B ties and those used in developing B2G ties. More specifically, these two tie types differ in a variety of guanxi initiation, building, and utilization practices. This study also builds upon the process model of guanxi development by highlighting the dissimilar role of gift giving practices in B2B and B2G ties. Furthermore, this study measures guanxi quality as a separate concept from guanxi process and demonstrates that guanxi quality is a multidimensional concept that is composed of affective attachment and felt obligation, both of which vary across B2B and B2G ties. Implications of these results for theory development and managerial practice in China are also discussed.

Abstract:
PurposeThis paper first aims to examine how business process change decisions (BPCDs) were implemented in a government organisation bound by tightly coupled temporal constraints (TTCs). Second, it focuses on how to achieve optimal and efficient BPCDs that require tight compliance with regulators’ temporal constraints. Finally, it formulates a rigorous framework that can facilitate the execution of optimal BPCDs with maximum efficiency and minimal effort, time and cost.Design/methodology/approachDecision-making biases by individuals or groups in organisations can impede optimal BPC implementation; to demonstrate this, a case study is investigated and the formulated framework is applied to tackle these failings.FindingsThe case study analysis shows 76 per cent of the BPCDs implemented were inefficient, mostly because of poor decisions, and these resulted in negative ripple effects. In response, the newly developed hierarchical change management structure (HCMS) framework was used to empower organisations to execute high-velocity BPCDs, enabling them to handle any temporal constraints imposed by regulators or other exogenous factors. The HCMS framework was found to be highly effective, scoring an average improvement of more than 100 per cent when measured using decision quality dimensions. This paper would be of value for business executives and strategic decision makers engaging with BPC.Research limitations/implicationsThe HCMS framework has been applied in a single case study as a proof of concept. Future research could extend its application to broader domains that have multi-attribute structures and environments. The evaluation processes of the proposed framework are based on subjective metrics. Causal links from the framework to business process metrics will provide a more complete performance picture.Practical implicationsThe outcome of this research assists in formulating a systematic BPCD framework that is otherwise unavailable. The practical use of the proposed framework would potentially impact on quality outcomes for organisations. The model is derived from decision trees and analytical hierarchical processes and is tailored to address this problematic area. The proposed HCMS framework would help organisations to execute efficient BPCDs with minimal time, effort and cost. The HCMS framework contributes to the academic literature on BPCD that leverages diverse stakeholders to engage in BPC initiatives.Originality/valueThe research presents a novel framework –HCMS – that provides a platform for organisations to easily determine and solve hierarchical decision structure problems, thereby allowing them to efficiently automate and institutionalise optimal BPCDs.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT This paper and presentation will focus on the importance of developing a comprehensive emergency management plan and how it could be integrated with your corporate crisis management plan along with federal, state, and local response agencies. Industrial Business Continuity represents a comprehensive planning process that includes everything from risk assessment and response operations through recovery. The trend over the past few years has been to move from a corporate profit structure to strategic business units with plant managers increasingly responsible for overall business development. Traditionally, business continuity focuses on systems and data recovery, while regulatory requirements tend to focus on emergency response and compliance. Industrial Business Continuity goes a step beyond both of those. It focuses on quality and critical business functions as well as the more traditional risk assessment and emergency response procedures that are found in most plans. In today's world, a measure of quality for the plant manager is how quickly and efficiently the plant can resume normal operations and circumstances after a major incident. This process includes such areas as community relations and risk communications., those areas that are usually associated with recovery. An Industrial Business Continuity plan that is developed to enhance a facility's response and recovery capability and is developed solely within facility boundaries does not accurately reflect its actual capability. Companies must integrate their crisis and emergency management programs within their corporation and with pertinent external response agencies. The benefits of integrating these plans far surpass the costs of program development.

Abstract:
Purpose: This paper addresses a comprehensive modeling and functionality evaluation of a module-based quality system in production logistics at the highest domain abstract level of business processes.Design/methodology/approach: All domain quality business processes and quality data transactions are modeled using BPMN and UML tools and standards at the business process and data modeling. A modular web-based prototype is developed to evaluate the models addressing the quality information system functionality requirements and modularity in production logistics through data scenarios and data queries.Findings: Using the object-oriented technique in design at the highest domain level, the proposed models are subject further development in the lower levels for the implementing case. The models are specifically able to manipulate all quality operations including remedy and control in a lot-based make-to-order production logistics system as an individual module.Practical implications: Due to the specification of system as domain design structure, all proposed BPMs, data models, and the actual database prototype are seen referential if not a solution as a practical “to-be” quality business process re-engineering template. Originality/value: this paper sets out to provide an explanatory approach using different practical technique at modeling steps as well as the prototype implementation.

Abstract:
Вackground. Quality management has a prominent place in the overall structure of the business process and there are a lot of significant papers in this area. Therefore, it is necessary to review existing methodological approaches, provide some conceptual and categorical clarification and generalization, formalization and description of the subject area and many links, in particular, determine the prospects for development of this area in the context of the Industry 4.0 concept. Analysis of recent research and publications has shown that despite the presence of a significant theoretical and methodological basis in the organization of the quality management process there is a need for a certain structuring of accumulated knowledge and problem field demarcation of the analyzed area. The aim of this article is an ontological understanding of the evolutionary way of formation and provision of requirements for processes and products in the context of transformational changes and socio-economic conditions of the economic activity environment. Materials and methods. The research methodology includes a retrospective analysis of the quality management area, synthesis method and forecast evaluation. The works of domestic and foreign scientists were the theoretical basis of the study. Results. A retrospective analysis of the evolutionary way of the concept of "quality management" development is highlighted. Abstract:
Purpose Despite its popularity, business process management (BPM) is not unequivocally defined, but obtains different forms with varying specifications. This paper presents a critical overview of BPM, as it appears within four dominant management paradigms: total quality management, standardized management systems, business process reengineering and Six Sigma. The purpose of this paper is to explore BPM specifications and compare the BPM implementation potential under each paradigm. Design/methodology/approach This is based on the analysis of a large number of highly cited scholarly publications. In order to identify the nature of BPM within each paradigm, a common framework for comparison is first established and then, for each paradigm, BPM is analyzed according to the main parameters of this framework. Findings Many differences among various BPM forms are paradigm driven. So, the approach adopted by each paradigm (i.e. individual-process or systemic approach) affects the scope and role of BPM. The principles of each paradigm directly affect the attributes assigned to BPM. Despite of important differences, the structure of BPM within all paradigms conforms to the stages of the classical BPM lifecycle. However, each paradigm assigns different weights to each stage and also displays different levels of BPM implementability. Originality/value The paper presents a first systematic comparison of BPM specifications for the dominant management paradigms primarily deployed. It thus explains why many attributes originating from the paradigms have crept into the general BPM specifications. This work can be considered as a step toward defining the core attributes of a paradigm-independent BPM model, thus enhancing its application scope as an invaluable management tool.

Abstract:
The focus on reengineering in the early 1990s, and the more recent emphasis on process management and change management have increased both practitioners and researchers interest in the issues of measuring processes. The contradictory results of process change projects reported in the literature and our observations from research suggest conflicting requirements for measurement systems. In this article, we review process measurement schemes with particular emphasis on the measures of time, quality, costs and efficiency. With five case studies, we illustrate process structures and related measurements for both customized and standardized deliveries. A framework for setting objectives for different process types is proposed. The result is a normative scheme for different processes that suggests ways to set meaningful objectives for time, quality, costs and efficiency. Finally, conclusions and implications are presented.

Abstract:
For the past few years, major progress in providing academic autonomy to Ukrainian universities has been made. However, a large number of universities even now remain the establishments with post-Soviet bureaucratic type of organization of management. As a result, a severe and complicated system of control over current activity has been supported, which requires from scientific and pedagogical workers not only to work effectively, but also to keep the set of rules and procedures. The purpose of the research is to search for possibilities of efficient application by modern universities of flexible matrix structures of management while forming their own internal system of quality control. Threats from bureaucratic management have been generalized for competitiveness of a modern university at the market of educational, scientific and consulting services. The concept and methodology on de-bureaucratization of the system of quality in higher education on the basis of the process approach of the theory of management and rationalistic logistics obtained further development. The mechanism of management of quality at the operational level of the university through integration of the segment-focused approach, system of grading and matrix organization of regular processes has been improved. Ways to apply matrix structure the middle and low levels of managing university have been suggested. Author’s recommendations have been provided towards rating evaluation of work of departments and their segment-focused structural organization. The matrix structure of management of quality of carrying out the temporary research project in the university under the conditions of the budget commission has been developed and practically tested.

Abstract:
Effective management of logistics business processes quality, organization and achievement of goals require an appropriate system. However, in modern literature and practice, quality management of logistics business processes is carried out in fragments, out of necessity; management functions are not organized into a single system. Therefore, the main task of the study is to determine the place of quality management system of logistics business processes in the overall management system of the enterprise, substantiate its structure and content. The theoretical basis for the formation of a quality management system for logistics business processes is the basic provisions of process and system approaches. The process approach provides consideration of logistics business processes of the enterprise as a set of interconnected logistics processes carried out by stages of production; system approach includes the creation of an organized dynamic system characterized by the interaction of the object, the subject through control channels and feedback, as well as the study of the system behavior taking into account the influence of the external environment. Quality management of logistics business processes consists of two aspects: strategic and current. Management of strategic processes is subject to corporate (marketing) strategy and takes into account the needs of consumers from the standpoint of logistics; continuous improvement of the quality of logistics business processes; measuring the level of achieved quality of business processes and continuous monitoring. Quality management of logistics business processes of current activities includes organizing management in such a way as to best satisfy the end user while achieving high efficiency of logistics business processes (operational planning, organization of business processes, analysis of key indicators of their evaluation, preventive and corrective actions, bringing decisions to the performers, etc.). The implementation of such management is based on the general principle of the quality chain. The prospects for further research are to develop approaches to the implementation of appropriate quality management functions of logistics processes at motor-transport enterprises.

This paper aims to identify the key business processes that are part of the organization structure in law firms that provide legal services. The study was conduct within the legal administration and business process management approaches. A qualitative-exploratory and quantitative-descriptive research was realized. The first, conducted through the application of semi-structured individual interviews, identified eight theoretical dimensions that were used in the latter, as a reference for defining the research questionnaire. Seven law firms certified by ISO 9001 were used for the identification of business processes. As results the identified processes were grouped according to APQC Process Classification Framework, in four key process (vision and strategy development, service market, products and services distribution and customer service management). Also, six support process categories were identified: information technologies management, financial resources management, acquiring, constructing and management properties, environmental health and safety, external relationships management and management knowledge, improvement, and change. Providing greater customer satisfaction has been identified as the main factor for the offices to map their business processes, while lesser degree of importance was attributed to product and service cost reduction and quality improving.

The development of effective retailing strategies that are sensitive to cross-cultural differences would seem to be of considerable importance to their success in the global marketplace. Building on two existing models, SERVQUAL and RSQS, this study developed scales to examine service quality in Hong Kong's supermarkets. Based on intensive field study, we revised the existing service quality instruments and developed a new set of instruments to measure service quality in Hong Kong's markets. A new underlying structure emerged, suggesting that in Hong Kong, Chinese consumers perceived service quality in the regular supermarkets based on their purchasing process instead of from the tangible and non-tangible aspects found in previous studies. In the enhanced supermarkets, however, consumers perceived service quality differently than did the consumers in the regular type of store, suggesting a different model would be appropriate. Overall study results indicated that the measurement and underlying structure of service quality perception was not only industry and culture specific, but also specific to the form of retail structures that may enter the cultural mélange of the Chinese marketplace.

Abstract:
Indonesia is one of the largest culinary attractions in Southeast Asia. The culinary diversity in Indonesia encourages stakeholders to create restaurant businesses with effective and efficient business processes. One of the efforts to make the restaurant business process effective and efficient is to build a restaurant management information system. By using a system, business actors will be able to control and evaluate their business with appropriate reports. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to build a restaurant management information system using the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method, because building this application requires a systematic, structured, and object-oriented process. The RAD method emphasizes a high quality systems, fast development and delivery and low costs development process [1] so that this process requires a serious role from business actors to build a restaurant management information system. The results of this system design can make it easier for business actors to control the business process from the customer to the kitchen so that the food and beverage ordering process will be served quickly. The GUI restaurant management information system is made interactively so that customers and business actors can easily understand the system. The test results of this system use black-box testing, with the conclusion that the system is successful to run.

Abstract:
The issue of management process in all organizations with a pronounced hierarchical structure is extremely complex and equally abstract to both the participants themselves and all those who deal with the study of this topic. The management process involves decision-making based on appropriate economic analysis, experience, practice, micro and macro environment, and the ability of an individual manager to create a symbiosis based on all the knowledge that will ultimately lead to making an appropriate business decision. The aim of this paper is to build a presentation of the model, which in this case will improve the economic community and enrich the everyday work of companies. This will allow the ownership and management structures of a large number of inadequately structured and internally non-institutionalized companies to become active and passive managers of all business relations within the companies in which they operate, instead of active or passive observers. In this paper, a management model will be presented based on the data researched within five variables: quality of human resources, economic incentives, development perspectives, managerial capabilities of subordinates and business satisfaction. One of the aims of this paper is precisely to explore how these variables influence the business satisfaction of Croatian companies. The research was conducted in the territory of the Republic of Croatia, in all regions, on a representative sample, while representatives of the companies were surveyed. The answers obtained were analysed descriptively, through the regression model. It has been proven that the greatest influence on pleasure in business is influenced by managerial capacities, where beta coefficients is 0.367. Slightly less impact on the pleasure of doing business has the development of enterprises and incentives from the budget, while the smallest impact on the pleasure of doing business has human potential. The obtained beta COTA is statistically significant because the p – value < 0.05, in all four cases. The scientific contributions of this paper are reflected in a model that will serve to measure the impact of manager satisfaction on the basis of quantitative parameters and as an example of a universal model of manager satisfaction assessment.

Abstract:
The QC-CE-PYRAMID model (Quality Circle and Cause and Effect in the pyramid’s structure) represents an excellent foundation for designing an efficient information system of quality. All of the business processes can be standardized with standard operative procedures in form of flow charts. This is sublimed in the QC-CE-pyramid model. The standard operative procedure starts with planning the activity and entering data which give information on the initial state. Then, it continues with the activities of the business processes where each phase derives an output data which appears to be an input data for the following operation. In the end, the business process ends with information in form of quality report. According to the pyramid’s structure, we can achieve both vertical and horizontal connection among the employees. Thus, the provision of the quality in the company is accompanied by the information flow according to the standard operative procedures. Having this as an initial point, we have analysed the established information system in the Factory for Rail Vehicles in Veles. By making improvements on the system, we also improved its efficiency as well as effectiveness in regard to the quality of information.

Abstract The increasing demand of users for quick and qualitative statistics, have increased the focus of statisticians from different countries to develop strategies, produce systems, compile statistical methods for the use of administrative sources as primary source. An important issue of official statistics is the reduction of the response burden from enterprises. Administrative sources are frequent in time, have wide scope coverage, are fast in terms of deadlines, but in content they carry suspicious values. In the case of Quarterly Survey these suspicious values affect the quarterly growth rate analysis. In Short Term Statistics cases where the value between the quarters is not accurate give a wrong picture of the development. In the Structural Survey, an annual net sale gives a wrong picture of the structure of the economy. Sources used for this paper are Value Added Tax and Quarterly Survey of Enterprises. The paper tries to identify the different patterns of the VAT in Albania by analysing two years VAT data, 2016-2017 and propose the editing method for correcting them. As the focus is the use of VAT in Short Term Statistics, the patterns are identified in the panel data created by linking with the same ID code the businesses on both sources. Various methods have been used from other countries’ statistics for the editing of these suspicions values. The experience of these countries is studied in orded to be used in Albania as well. This process will reduce the time for processing VAT file, will be used in effective way for quarterly business survey or structure business survey purposes and will increase the quality of statistical procces and product by using effectively the VAT file.

Abstract:
The objective of this study is to examine the effect of knowledge quality (KQ) on process-based management effectiveness (PBME). The knowledge quality for effective process-based management is an increasingly important issue to the business community. The current review conducted on research work in Knowledge Management and Quality Management Systems field has shown that there are deficiencies in the current research domain which, investigation on knowledge quality and its effect on process-based management was not an interest of previous researchers. The deficiencies shed light for future research that explores in details the effect of KQ on PBME. This issue has initiated interest amongst academicians to empirically examine the effect of knowledge quality on the process-based management effectiveness especially on the ISO9001:2008 certified organization. This study has found that KQ has significant direct effect with PBME in the certified ISO9001:2008 organization. This is indicated by the path coefficients and t-statistics of the relationship between KQ and PBME using PLS-SEM. The results is in line with the opinion derived from semi-structured interview conducted and also accords with earlier research which showed that the quality of knowledge can improve the performance of the processes. The evidence from this result suggests that organization should emphasize on the quality of knowledge to increase the process-based management effectiveness.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to present findings from a study of value-based leadership in which design thinking was used as a participatory, iterative process to examine and stimulate changes in organizational culture and develop value-based leadership in Swedish manufacturing. Of particular interest to the authors was to make visible and understand the constraints in leadership that kept leaders from understanding and working with organizational culture and values. Design/methodology/approach A three-year multi-site case study was conducted in collaboration with three manufacturing companies in Sweden. The study design was based on a collaborative, iterative model using the Stanford Design thinking framework in which data were collected through a series of workshops using a variety of sources including: leadership survey; interviews with three general directors; focus groups with middle- and top-level managers; observations and cultural analysis, survey; storytelling and appreciative inquiry (AI); and an employee questionnaire. Respondents in the study represented leadership teams in three Swedish manufacturing companies and their employees. Findings In general, there is a lack of dialogue among leaders about what is leadership, what is culture and what is meant by values in the organization. As well, there is a heavy emphasis on structure and process, yet, at the same time, there lacks a clear understanding about why the structures exist and how they can be used to spawn innovation. Moreover, participating leaders in manufacturing succumb to a crisis leadership model that results from the heavy emphasis on productivity and bottom-line effectiveness. Design thinking and the methods used to develop work culture, including AI, storytelling and coaching, provided leaders with new insights into the culture within the company. Leaders were able to identify both constraints and possibilities for changing the culture from disengagement to engagement. Through the process, they also began to identify values and recognized the importance of valuing employees to affect innovation and build a culture of engagement. The authors also witnessed increased dialogue among leaders that reflected an understanding of the importance to engage middle managers and employees in problem solving and innovation. Originality/value This study demonstrates that leaders can benefit from innovative approaches to identifying and building work culture to achieve value-based leadership.

Purpose. The aim of the article is the development of theoretical, methodological provisions and practical recommendations for determining the content of business process and process approach in management of the enterprise, substantiation of classification features of grouping business processes and identifying indicators of evaluation of business processes of the enterprise and factors influencing their effectiveness. Methodology of research. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study is the position of modern economic theory, scientific works of domestic and foreign scientists to optimize the management of business processes at the enterprise. The following general scientific methods of research are used to achieve this goal: system-structural and terminological analysis – to streamline the conceptual and terminological apparatus regarding the economic content of the category "business process"; grouping, comparison and theoretical generalization – for the study of scientific works on the problems of business process management at the enterprise; inductions and deductions – to study the classification features of business process grouping and identify business process evaluation indicators at the enterprise; abstract and logical – for theoretical generalization and formulation of conclusions. Findings. The necessity of applying the process approach to the organization and management of the enterprise is substantiated. The economic essence of the category "business process" is determined. It is established that a business process is a structured sequence of actions to perform an appropriate type of activity at all stages of the life cycle of the subject activity. Characteristics of business processes: presence of internal and external users; functioning within and between divisions of the company and between different organizations; based on the way in which the organization works. Abstract:
This literature review evaluates 117 empirical research studies on audit committee (AC) composition, resources and incentives (period 2007 through 2015). Regulators all over the world try to increase AC effectiveness that should have a positive impact on corporate governance quality. I briefly introduce the theoretical, normative and empirical AC framework that comprises an adequate structure of the state-of-the-art of empirical research in this field. This is followed by a discussion of AC monitoring process which aims to enhance corporate governance quality and is structured as follows: (1) financial reporting quality; (2) internal audit quality and (3) external audit quality. I will then evaluate the impact of AC on (4) firm performance. I will summarise the key findings in each area, and provide a description of the analysed proxies for corporate governance quality and firm performance. Numerous studies have shown a positive impact of the AC’s financial expertise on earnings quality. In this context, AC financial expertise has recently been increasingly specified, wherefore positive impacts of accounting, legal or industry expertise were measured either separately or in combination. Both the number of studies conducted and the observed significances are significantly lower for the other components of the monitoring process (internal and external audit quality) and the firm performance. Finally, I will discuss the current limitations of the studies and give useful recommendations for future empirical research activities in this topic.

Abstract:
Peer review is viewed as a valid quality assurance mechanism in higher education. Peer review of teaching is common practice at universities in Australia. However, peer review of assessment is a relatively new innovation in tertiary education. Peer review of assessment in a Triad structure utilised data, via interviews with academics and students, to develop a peer review of assessment framework. This project was modelled on a Triad based peer review of teaching process at a major university in Brisbane Australia. A 10 question framework was used initially to facilitate conversations between assessors in a range of undergraduate courses (teacher education, business, visual arts, occupational therapy, outdoor education). The benefits for all stakeholders were widespread and significant, impacting students and assessors and provided a response to sector wide, national and international criticisms of tertiary assessment by students, who are driven by successful assessment experiences and shaped by the clarity of assessment rubrics.

Abstract:
Information technology is an effective tool for substantiating management decisions in any field of activity, including the economy. One of the most important characteristics of the functioning of economic agents in a market is the structure of their capital because the interest of foreign investors in the business entity depends directly on the balance of this structure. Therefore, the process of managing the capital structure of a business unit needs special attention both in terms of sustainable development and during the crisis. Given the mentioned above, the object of the study is the process of managing the enterprise capital structure. The study aims to improve the methodological support of the process of managing the enterprise capital structure taking into account the dynamics of the parameters of the external environment of its operation. As for the results of the research, the EPC diagram of the optimization process of the enterprise capital structure was developed. Due to the use of the vector graphic editor MS Visio, this model allows visually displaying the scenario of a financial manager’s activity during performance of his duties on the modeled subject area; the methodical approach to assessing the sustainability of capital structure management based on the building of Shewhart quality maps was suggested. Such maps enable to identify typical (optimal, preventive and control) values of the components of the capital structure of an entrepreneurial unit; methodical recommendations for operative management on an enterprise capital structure at the innovation and investment stage of its development were developed. They are based on the use of a method of linear programming. They allow defining possible deviations of capital structure indicators while retaining the control of the chosen strategy of its development.
