The aim of the thesis is to explain main aspects of the development and elaboration of a real project of mountain apartments on the level of a feasibility study. The thesis is divided up into two parts. Theoretical part describes individual stages of the development, involved entities and the procedure of obtaining building permit, which is all necessary for the implementation of the project. The emphasis is laid on funding, namely financial resources and tax optimalization. The second part deals with the develoment project itsef, which is the construction of weekend apartments in the mountains. The project aims at finding the right use of a specific piece of land, the concept of construction and its funding. Further on the thesis contains sensibility analysis, market and competion analysis and SWOT analysis and identification of main risks including their solution and possible preventive measures. The final part of the thesis focuses on evaluation of this project and its comparison with several competitive projects.

The building block of flats has five above and consists of a total of 25 residential units. The flat on first floor is designed as a barrier-free. On first floor are situated two mass garages (for 18 cars). The building is designed of structural systém of ceramic blocks, except first and second floor, which has walls and columns of reinforced concrete. The ceilings are from reinforced concrete and the roof is designed as a flat surcharge. The work includes project documentation for the construction and specialization.

The building is a three-storey and a partial basement. Roofing will be done with a sloping roof on one side with a hump and on the other with a shield. This diploma thesis deals with the proposal of the municipal office in Olomouc for the part Hodolany. The municipal office is a detached building with indoor and outdoor parking spaces. The building has four floors, one underground and three above ground. In the underground floor there are archives of all departments of the office and the air-conditioning of the building, a large part of the first floor are ga-rage parking, there i salso a Café and a representative hall. On the second floor there is the seat of the office management, building office and transport department. On the top floor you will find the OP-RP-CP cabins, the HR department and the archive with server. A lift and a 3-aisle staircase are used to cennect the individual floors. The building is designed from structural systém of ceramic fittings and part of the foundations of paermanent formwork. The ceilings are assembled from ceramic fittings with reinforced concrete. This ceiling also forms the supporting part of singleskin flat vegetation roofs. The thesis cantains project documentation for construction.

The proposed apartment building including a fixed level pavement, parking spaces and a driveway is situated on land number 723/213 and 723/184 (farm land) which is located in the southeastern part of the town Horní Stropnice along the main road towards Trhove Sviny. The apartment block has been designed as a four storey building for small and larger families in 14 seperate apartments (4 apartments each on the first, second and third floors and 2 apartments, hair salon and office on the ground floor) without any basement. The key construction feature is a wall system based on basic bands of simple concrete with a concrete mounted ceiling and a roof truss with gable roof tiles at an angle of 35°. There will be 14 apartments in total (14x 3+kitchen unit). The apartment windows will have sufficient sunlight and silencing. The main entrance, covered with a concrete porch roof, will be west facing. Each apartment will be constructed around the entrance foyer, which connects the main living quarters consisting of a combined kitchen dining room, living room , toilet, bathroom, (including bath, sink, washing machine), bedroom and one or two children's room, (depending on the size of the apartment). Ground floor terraces and 1st to 3rd floor balconies will be accesed via the living rooms. There will be a technical room on the ground floor which will have two gas boilers, a hot water cylinder, central heating distribution, sewer and some individual storage space for each apartment. The space under the staircase will serve as storage for prams or bicycles. The hair salon and building office will be built in the entrance foyer, which will include a public convenience for visitors and an entrance to the visitor's waiting room, guest rooms, individual work rooms all of which will be ready for use. A new asphalt road will enable access to the new apartment block and the neighbouring apartment block on land number 723/13.

The Veterinary Clinic is located on parcels č.122 / 3 and 122/4, which are parts of the cadastral municipality Nachod. Near the land under the adjoining local roads, there are utilities routed. In the building of veterinary clinic, there will be 2 surgeries, 2 operating rooms, laboratory, pharmacy, grocery breeders and editorial office. Veterinary Clinic is a two-storey building with a rectangular ground plan with dimensions of approximately 40 x 19 meters. The building has 3 main entrances. Admission to the clinic and store are situated on the northwestern side. Entry into the pharmacy and the editorial office, which is located on the 2nd floor, are on the southeast side. The apartment building has three types of units with different layout arrangement - 2 + kk, 3 + kk, 4 + kk and one unit for persons with disabilities. In the basement there are 26 parking places for employees of kindergarten and elementary school in Postřelmov and also a technical background. The first floor consists of two classes of kindergarten, on the second floor there is the third class and a large hall, which will be used mainly for cultural events in the kindergarten. The foundation structure is made up of concrete strips and the foundation foots are designed in places of garage parking. The vertical structures in the basement are designed from concrete fittings, the vertical load-bearing structures in the above-ground floors are designed in the Porotherm masonry system, the other non-load-bearing structures are designed in the Ytong system. Due to the large spans, the horizontal structures are designed from prestressed Spiroll ceiling panels. The roofing of the building consists of a flat green extensive roof. The project documentation also includes construction - physical assessment and fire - safety solution of the building.

The thesis is not worked out in full extent, as prescribed in Decree No. 62/2013 Coll. Amending Decree No. 499/2006 Coll., On Construction Documentation. It includes only part A (Data Accompanying Report), B (Summary Technical Report), C (Situational Drawings), D.1.1 (Architectural and Building Solutions) and D.1.3 (Fire Safety Solutions) of Appendix 6 of this Decree. In addition, a thermal-technical assessment of the building was elaborated. There are two specializations in small range as additional part of the documentation as well. The proposed two-storey house with small cellar is situated on flat land in the village of Lipová-lázně and layout of the object is divided into two parts, part of house with function of housing and part with facilities for cooking and catering for more persons.

The retention of historic structures and the information which they contain, the basic goals of historic preservation, has occurred with increasing frequency in the twenty-year period following the passage of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966. Admittedly, the ideal scenario involves the retention and reuse of architecturally or historically important structures. However, occasionally notable buildings are found which are located upon sites earmarked for new construction or which have deteriorated to a condition which makes restoration or adaptive reuse not economically feasible. Adequate documentation prior to the destruction of such buildings not only preserves the information therein contained, but also may encourage reuse of some structures by making the owner aware of their contribution to the streetscape, to local history or to the architectural history of a community or region.Although parameters for adequate documentation exist at the national level for national landmarks, state and local standards are vague at best, leaving both the professional and the non-professional preservationist to determine the level of documentation and the amount of research required. Difficult at best for the professional, documentation in the absence of guidelines frequently proves disastrous for the non-professional.This thesis is the product of a documentation project conducted between September 1984 and October 1985 to provide "adequate documentation" for a client of the College of Architecture and Planning at Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana. Having no established guidelines or precedent to follow, and instructed to produce "adequate documentation" for 28 structures at six Indiana State Hospitals, the documentation team learned much during the fourteen-month process of producing both written and graphic documentation.The author presents this descriptive analysis of one component of the documentation process - the preparation of the 331-page written text which accompanied photographs and H.A.B.S. drawings. While each project differs, the Indiana State Hospital Project established a precedent which may be referred to By the C.A.P. when faced with similar projects in the future.

This diploma thesis ‘multi-functional‘ building is elaborated in form of a project documentation fulfilling all requirements in accordance with valid directives. The project refers to a detached multi-functional new-build placed on a moderate slope in Kralupy nad Vltavou. The building includes a basement and four floors overground. This multi-functional house will be used as an apartement building with a café, containing eleven housing units – apartments. One of units on the first floor is designed as handicapped-accessible. Café with facilities and a separate entrance for public will be located in basement. Overground, outer and interior bearing walls are meant to be made of Porotherm system. The underground wil be made of concrete blocks ‘Best’. Ceiling construction will be fabricated from prestressed ceiling concrete panels ‘Spiroll‘. Roofing is maded of two parts, both are pent roofs with angle of 7°. The roof is designed as a double wall, where for the outer shell is used a wooden construction coated with concrete roofing panels ‘Bramac’. The inner shell is composed of a suspended ceiling with insulation. Part of the project is a construction of paved areas aside the building and fencing.

The building contains the second and a third floor with a modern look suitably fits into the surrounding countryside. The significant emphasis was on both nice appearance of the building, so the correct process engineering and dispositional solution. During seminar work was solved problems of summer overheating of the room situated on the south side of the building. In the first part of this thesis, the assembly of particular types of building work price documentation is solved, depending on the state of the in-process project documentation. Consequently, the utilization of the documentation in particular administration types is presented, and possibilities of the building work funding are adduced. Specific types of the building work price documentations are configured for the public buildings, housing projects, transportation and water-management buildings. The last part of this thesis is devoted to the overview of particular price and project documentation types that should be elaborated in different phases of building work life cycle.
