Abstract:
The role of education is to educate students and build quality human resources. School Operational Assistance (BOS) from the government is used to relieve students, not free schools but free students from school fees and extracurriculars. BOS can be used to provide scholarships to underprivileged students. Students are entitled to a scholarship if they meet three conditions, namely not having a Smart Indonesia Card (KIP), not having a Prosperous Family Card (KKS), and parental income of less than one million rupiah per month. The determination of BOS scholarship recipients is based on an agreement and joint decision by the management team, the teacher council, and the school committee. The process of determining students as scholarship recipients often encounters obstacles because it is done manually. This study applies backpropagation ANN to determine students who are eligible for BOS scholarships. The system is built based on the web using bootstrap as a framework, Javascript, and PHP. The training process uses a sample of 78 students with input architecture 4, hidden 6, output 1, learning rate 0.7, momentum 0.9, SSE 0.1, output 1, and a maximum of 10,000 iterations, an error of 0.03 is obtained. Testing with 21 student data obtained an error of 0.414923 and the accuracy of the test was 93.67%. The test results using the cause-effect graph technique can display the training process, graphs, error results, weight values and testing time with 93.67% success.

Abstract:
While heterologous germ cell transplantation was successful in pigs and goats, autologous transplantation alone has been reported to result in donor-derived spermatogenesis in cattle. The objective of this study was to investigate whether the transplantation of heterologous germ cells could result in colonization of recipient testes in cattle of different breeds. Testicular cells were isolated from 8 Bos taurus donor bull calves and then transferred into 15 Bos indicus-cross bull calves. All animals were prepubertal, donors were aged 5–7 months and recipients 5–11 months, and scrotal circumferences ranged from 15 to 22 cm. Single cell suspensions of donor testicular cells, prepared by enzymatic digestion, were labelled with fluorescent dyes PKH26 or CFDA-SE, before transfer into the rete testis of recipients under ultrasonographic guidance. To assess the longevity of colonization by donor cells, recipients were castrated 2–30 weeks after cell transfer. Donor cells were observed in 15/25 (60%) of the testes that received PKH26-labelled cells, whereas no CFDA-SE-positive cell was identified in any recipients. The maturity of the donors or recipients (measured by scrotal circumference) did not affect colonization potential. In freshly isolated tubules, clumps of PKH26-positive cells were observed, which indicated either cell division or extensive local colonization of specific areas of the tubules. In frozen sections, PKH26-positive cells were identified on the seminiferous tubule basement membrane, which indicated that these cells had successfully migrated from the tubule lumen and were likely to be spermatogonia. We conclude that PKH26 was more suitable for labelling donor testis cells and donor cells can be identified up to 6 months following transfer. These results indicate that allogeneic transplantation of testicular cells can occur between Bos taurus and Bos indicus cattle. Further studies will investigate functionality of transferred testicular cells.

Abstract:
DNA compaction with protamines in sperm is essential for successful fertilization. However, a portion of sperm chromatin remains less tightly packed with histones, which genomic location and function remain unclear. We extracted and sequenced histone-associated DNA from sperm of nine ejaculates from three bulls. We found that the fraction of retained histones varied between samples, but the variance was similar between samples from the same and different individuals. The most conserved regions showed similar abundance across all samples, whereas in other regions, their presence correlated with the size of histone fraction. This may refer to gradual histone–protamine transition, where easily accessible genomic regions, followed by the less accessible regions are first substituted by protamines. Our results confirm those from previous studies that histones remain in repetitive genome elements, such as centromeres, and added new findings of histones in rRNA and SRP RNA gene clusters and indicated histone enrichment in some spermatogenesis-associated genes, but not in genes of early embryonic development. Our functional analysis revealed significant overrepresentation of cGMP-dependent protein kinase G (cGMP-PKG) pathway genes among histone-enriched genes. This pathway is known for its importance in pre-fertilization sperm events. In summary, a novel hypothesis for gradual histone-to-protamine transition in sperm maturation was proposed. We believe that histones may contribute structural information into early embryo by epigenetically modifying centromeric chromatin and other types of repetitive DNA. We also suggest that sperm histones are retained in genes needed for sperm development, maturation and fertilization, as these genes are transcriptionally active shortly prior to histone-to-protamine transition.

La thèse affirme que le rythme constitue une catégorie scientifique et culturelle nouvelle au tournant des années 1800, catégorie jusqu'à présent peu traitée dans l'historiographie. Elle soutient que, vers 1800, le monde vivant, et en particulier la notion de développement, ont été reconceptualisés en termes de modèles rythmiques, de mouvement rythmique et de représentation rythmique. Ce travail montre que la pensée d'une Nature rythmiquement organisée se basait sur l'épistémè du rythme, épistémè qui, simultanément, servait de fondement à de nouveaux concepts esthétiques, par exemple en poétologie et en musicologie, et s'exprimait dans les théories dites des sciences naturelles. Vers 1800, l'épistémè du rythme décrivit la règle d'après laquelle les arts comme la Nature engendrent la nouveauté, la loi d'après laquelle ils sont ordonnés et sur les bases de laquelle ils organisent leur constante refonte
The central thesis of this dissertation is about the notion of rythm in the period around 1800. It is claimed that in this period rythm has been a central category for the reorganisation of knowledge about the living world. In particular, it is argued that the new understanding of ontogenetic development, generally identified with the rise of the epigentic theory of development, was in fact based on the new epistemology of rhythm. In addition, the dissertation describes the rise of rhythmic modes of reasoning not only the biological sciences, but also in other fields of knowledge like music theory, poetology and aesthetic theory. It is argued that in the epoch 1760 to 1830 the world of the living, and particularly the idea of development, were reconceptualised in terms of rhythmic models, rhythmic movements and rhythmic representation
