Abstract:
Primocane-fruiting (PF) red raspberry (Rubus idaeus L.) cultivars are being grown in many regions as their popularity increases. However, testing of this perennial fruit crop is expensive and requires many years. Large genotype (G) × environment (E) interactions can make identification of superior genotypes difficult. The G/G × E (GGE) biplot can be used to measure cultivar performance and group locations into mega-environments. The GGE biplot was applied to yield trial data of three PF red raspberry cultivars Autumn Bliss, Heritage, and Redwing grown in 17 environments (year-location combinations). The 17 environments encompassed six locations in Ontario and Quebec, Canada between 1989 and 1996. `Autumn Bliss' produced the highest yields in 11 of 17 environments. `Heritage' was usually the lowest yielding cultivar. Two mega-environments were identified based on the performance of `Autumn Bliss' and `Redwing'. Some environmental variables were likely to be responsible for the discriminating ability of the test environments as they were correlated with the primary effects. The GGE biplot was an effective analysis to determine mega-environments and the cultivars best adapted to each.

Abstract:
The more advanced the technology and the greater the community's need to carry out activities every day, the number of vehicles on the highway is getting crowded. From year to year, the greater the level of traffic accidents caused by many factors, among the usual reasons is the loss of awareness of the driver when driving a vehicle especially drowsiness. One of the drowsiness parameters is the frequency eye blinks. Therefore, to get the drowsiness symptoms, the purpose of this research is to detect the eye blinks, which in turn reduce the level of accidents by detecting sleepy eyes based on digital image processing. The method used to detect both eyes is the Viola-Jones method. The detection of both eyes can also acquire the duration of closed eyes and the number of eye blinks. A person can be said to be sleepy by means of sleepiness parameters determined by a study. The research shows that detection of eye blinks using the Viola-Jones method has a fairly high accuracy of up to 84.72% if the face condition is upright and tilted no more than 45 degrees. Another conclusion is that eye detection and driver detection are more effective at certain light intensity values which are around 2-33 lux.

Abstract:
This article uses the activism of drag queen Panti Bliss during Ireland’s marriage equality campaign to revisit two of the foundational debates of performativity theory: namely, the contentious political and ontological status of drag and the function of the exemplary performative “I do.” It attempts to answer Judith Butler’s provocative question: “what happens to the performative when its purpose is precisely to undo the presumptive force of the heterosexual ceremonial” (1993a: 16). Taking account of concerns about LGBTQ assimilation, it argues that the gay “I do” creates new categories of inclusion and abjection, and, ultimately, new categories of the queer. It suggests, further, that the ontological slippage inherent to drag – often more than “just” performance, yet not quite constitutive of a performative identity – can help to maintain and reignite the political power of the queer in the face of hegemonic co-option.

Abstract:
The countermanding saccade task has been used in many studies to investigate the neural mechanisms that underlie the decision to execute or restrain rapid eye movements. In this task, the presentation of a saccade target is sometimes followed by the appearance of a stop cue that indicates that the subject should cancel the planned movement. Performance has been modeled as a race between motor preparation and cancellation processes. The signal that reaches its activation threshold first determines whether a saccade is generated or cancelled. In these studies, an important parameter is the time required to process the stop cue, referred to as the stop signal reaction time (SSRT). The SSRT is estimated using statistical approaches, the validity of which has not been unequivocally established. A more direct measure of this parameter might be obtainable if a method was available to “unmask” the developing motor command. This can be accomplished by air-puff-evoked blinks, which inhibit pontine omnipause neurons that serve as an inhibitory gate for the saccadic system. In the present study, brief puffs of air were used to elicit blinks at various times while rhesus monkeys performed a countermanding saccade task. If the developing motor command has not yet been cancelled, this should trigger a saccade. When blinks occurred between ∼50 and 200 ms after target onset, saccades were often evoked. Saccades were rarely evoked more than ∼70 ms after stop cue onset; this value represents a behavioral evaluation of SSRT and was comparable to the estimates obtained using standard statistical approaches. When saccades occurred near the SSRT on blink trials, they were often hypometric. Furthermore, Monte Carlo simulations were performed to model the effects of blink time on the race model. Overall, the study supports the validity of the statistical methods currently in use.

Abstract:
By focusing on the issue of rolling element bearing (REB) performance degradation assessment (PDA), a solution based on variational mode decomposition (VMD) and Gath-Geva clustering time series segmentation (GGCTSS) has been proposed. VMD is a new decomposition method. Since it is different from the recursive decomposition method, for example, empirical mode decomposition (EMD), local mean decomposition (LMD), and local characteristic-scale decomposition (LCD), VMD needs a priori parameters. In this paper, we will propose a method to optimize the parameters in VMD, namely, the number of decomposition modes and moderate bandwidth constraint, based on genetic algorithm. Executing VMD with the acquired parameters, the BLIMFs are obtained. By taking the envelope of the BLIMFs, the sensitive BLIMFs are selected. And then we take the amplitude of the defect frequency (ADF) as a degradative feature. To get the performance degradation assessment, we are going to use the method called Gath-Geva clustering time series segmentation. Afterwards, the method is carried out by two pieces of run-to-failure data. The results indicate that the extracted feature could depict the process of degradation precisely.

Abstract:
Systemic lupus erythematosus is the prototypic autoimmune disease with a broad range of clinical manifestations and a complex pathogenesis. B-cells hold a central role in its pathogenesis, not only as autoantibody producing cells, but also by producing other inflammatory mediators and by presenting autoantigens to autoreactive T cells. BlyS, a soluble ligand of the TNF cytokine family, is a key factor affecting B-cell homeostasis and survival and its blockade ameliorated the disease in animal models and preclinical studies of SLE. Following an unsuccessful phase II trial of belimumab, a monoclonal antibody targeting BlyS, two large phase III studies in patients with mild-to-moderate disease, BLISS-52 and BLISS-76, met their primary endpoints showing better efficacy of the drug over standard of care alone. To this end, development of a novel more sensitive responder index and improvements in study designs were crucial. As a result, belimumab became the first drug to get approval for the treatment of SLE after more than 50 years. In this paper we discuss the rationale, development, indications, lessons learned, pitfalls and challenges for this novel therapy and point-out to additional issues that need to be addressed in the future.http://dx.doi.org/10.7175/rhc.v3i3.206

Abstract:
The Yiddish word shadchin is best translated as marriage broker. In the old days, in the small communities or shtetls where many Eastern European families lived, such an individual emerged, probably self-appointed, to help arrange marriages. One assumes that both parties were eager to get married, but either were unaware of the other's intentions or simply required the help of a third party to sort out some of the obstacles that lay in the path of eternal bliss. Academia today bears some semblance to the shtetl of the past. The communities of the Ivory Tower consist, more or less, of like-minded individuals with similar backgrounds, goals, and aspirations.

Abstract:
Nowadays the virtual reality systems get to be more common and widespread in the world. They need users to develop system of the integration systems of sensory and cognitive information, while them creating polymodal effects on man. Vestibular function is one of these systems, and its disruption can lead to simulator sickness. The aim of this study was to find how professional activity of different men with similar vestibular function’s degree of development can influence on simulator sickness appearance. Eye movements were chosen as objective measure of successful interaction with virtual reality. There were attended professional athletes: 30 figure skaters, 30 wushu athletes, 30-football players and also 20 students take part as a control group. The results showed the significant different (p=0,001) between figure skaters and others by such items as number of fixations, saccades and blinks, and also amplitudes of saccades. At the same time figure skaters get lower scores in simulator sickness questionnaire, which says about less intensity of simulator disorder.

Abstract:
This paper attempts to explore the essence of the principal Upanishads of the Hindu philosophy in T. S. Eliot’s selected seminal poems and plays. The principal Upanishads are the Ishavasya, Kena, Katha, Prashna, Mundaka, Mandukya, Taittiriya, Aitareya, Chhandogya, Brihadaranyaka and Shvetashvatara. The famous poems are “Ash-Wednesday” and Four Quartets, and the famous plays are Murder in the Cathedral, The Family Reunion, and The Cocktail Party under scrutiny in this paper. The essence of the principal eleven Upanishads is that Brahman is source of all creations including the human beings, who get results according to their karma and are born again and again until they get moksha (liberation) through the self-realization of Brahman; therefore, our goal should be to attain moksha or Brahman, only through which we can experience perpetual peace and unbound bliss. Likewise, Eliot suggests that we should attempt to go back to our “Home” (Brahman, also a symbol of peace and bliss), for which we must attempt several times until we become qualified through the non-dual knowledge of “the still point” (Brahman) and its self-realization along with the spiritual practices of renunciation and asceticism. The practice of unattached action done without the hope of its fruit (nishkam karma) and unselfish devotion (Bhakti) are secondary paths to attain liberation. Since the path of spiritual knowledge can make us realize Brahman immediately, Eliot prefers this path of knowledge to the progressive or indirect paths of action and devotion. Thus, his texts reflect the essence of the Upanishads. The significance of this paper within the context of existing scholarship lies in its introduction to the new knowledge that Eliot’s poems and plays could be extensively interpreted by finding the essence of the Upanishads in his texts. Practically, the knowledge of the essence of the Upanishads can help us know the mystery of life and death, and Atman and Brahman, and get liberation from all kinds of suffering and misery, and the cycle of life and death as well before death.

The aim of the thesis is to identify the main regularities of influence of special technological materials (filler materials) on changing characteristics of elastic system of thin-walled detail and increasing of vibration stability, dimensional accuracy and reducing of surface roughness . Also this work is devoted to development of technology of efficient use of special technological materials in manufacture for producing blisks and impellers of gas turbine engine (GTE). The developed device and method for measuring of real volume of removed material, dimensional accuracy and quality of surface finish in thin-walled milling made possible to establish that the removal efficiency in thin-walled milling depends not only on static and dynamic characteristics of elastic system of thin-walled detail, but it also depends on spindle speed and feed direction (up and down milling). In this thesis was developed system of evaluation criteria of the conditions of the vibrational motion of thin-walled detail, which includes ten parameters on the base fragment of oscillogram, which quantitatively shows the highly efficient of special technological materials using for reducing vibrations of thin-walled detail during milling. The technology for the efficient use of special technological materials in the manufactory for milling blades of blisks and impellers of GTE is developed, as well as recommendations on the implementation of this technology to the industry.

Abstract:
The final two chapters turn to the Ānanda‐vṛndāvana, Kavikarṇapūra’s longest and most sophisticated poem in praise of Kṛṣṇa’s play in Vṛndāvana. Each chapter studies a small section of this voluminous work but, by examining such brief passages in depth, it is hoped the reader will get a good sense of the complexity of his poetic and narrative style, and be encouraged to explore more of Kavikarṇapūra’s poetry. Chapter 6 examines the style of Kavikarṇapūra’s prose, revisiting Kavikarṇapūra’s eclectic philosophy of language (Chapter 4) and drawing out its theological implications, which are argued to be essential to grasping the suggested sense of Kavikarṇapūra fusion of figures of speech that mark the prose of the Ānanda‐vṛndāvana. The chapter offers a close reading of the opening sentence of the Ānanda‐vṛndāvana, exploring how Kavikarṇapūra’s ‘splendour of speech’ conveys not just theological ideas, but is also meant to affect the reader and contribute to the realization of rasa.

Abstract:
General of the Armies John J. Pershing (1860–1948) had a long and distinguished military career, but he is most famous for leading the American Expeditionary Forces in World War I. He published a memoir, <I>My Experiences in the World War</I>, and has been the subject of numerous biographies, but the literature regarding this towering figure and his enormous role in the First World War deserves to be expanded to include a collection of his wartime correspondence. Meticulously edited by John T. Greenwood, volume 1 of <I>John J. Pershing and the American Expeditionary Forces in World War I, 1917–1919</I> covers the period of April 7 through September 30, 1917. The letters speak to such topics as Pershing's appointment to command the US expeditionary force, his initial preparations, and early meetings with Allied civilian and military leaders, including Field Marshal Sir Douglas Haig and General Henri Philippe Pétain. Drawing heavily on Pershing's extensive personal papers, this collection includes his letters and cablegrams exchanged with Secretary of War Newton D. Baker and Chiefs of Staff Hugh L. Scott and Tasker H. Bliss. Extracts from the large volume of rarely referenced cablegrams represent an important contribution to Pershing's wartime story. Two appendices provide the reader with details of Pershing's relations with the Allied governments and armies (as he reported them in an unpublished part of his <I>Final Report of Gen. John J. Pershing</I> in 1920) and his personal appraisal of Marshal Ferdinand Foch as he knew him during the war. These volumes of wartime correspondence provide new insight into the work of a legendary soldier and the historic events in which he participated, and offer a valuable resource for any serious Pershing or World War I scholar.

Abstract:
Chapter 6 delves into the topic of regard. In order to begin the process of reconciliation with the planet, mankind must first ask what is wrong with his broken relationship with the Earth. If man's first date with nature was one of wonder and awe, could it be that man now takes his beloved nature for granted? Perhaps his silent partner would like a say in how she is regarded, and especially in how she is treated. If so, what can man do to get back to that first love and shower the weeping Earth with affection? It turns out that the national park system may point the way back to conjugal bliss.

Abstract:
Can you remember a time when you were totally absorbed in the moment? When “the rest of the world” ceased to exist? When returning to your surroundings felt a bit jolting? If so, you may have experienced a “real moment.” Our “real moments” as teachers often happen when a student has an “aha!” experience. Or when we finally figure out how to present a confusing concept, and it works just the way we hoped. Or when there is such a meeting of the minds with fellow teachers that it feels like a wave of perfection has just rolled over us. And when they do occur, real moments can revitalize and invigorate us. The trick to relishing these real moments is to notice them. Then we can acknowledge and savor them as bits of bliss. According to Barbara De Angelis, “Real moments occur only when you are consciously and completely experiencing where you are, what you are doing, and how you are feeling . . . you are paying attention”. Paying attention is not necessarily as easy as it may seem. Having racing minds and darting attentions, we get in the habit of not paying attention. So may our students. What can we do to stop, drop, and be? Simply stop thinking. Notice your surroundings. Listen and watch as others speak. Drop your hurry and worry long enough to breathe, feel, and notice what surrounds you. Be present to soak up all that your senses allow. You allow real moments to happen when you totally surrender into whatever you are experiencing, and let go of trying to be in control.

Abstract:
Abstract Compressor blisks for gas turbine engines (GTE) are usually produced by machining from a single forging. Significant time and costs are required for this method of production. This article proposes a method for manufacturing a hybrid compressor wheel — the disk part of which consists of a deformable titanium alloy and blades made of a powder alloy — using one of the most productive additive technologies — direct laser deposition. With this blisk production method, the material utilization decreases sharply, and the time required decreases from several months to several days.

Many of the new designs for both military and civil aircraft engines are replacing single bladed rotor assemblies with blisk assembled rotors because of the efficiency and performance benefits. Blisks are usually manufactured from hard exotic materials which means that they can be difficult to manufacture and their cycles times can be long and subsequently the components become very expensive. In order to make them more affordable to engine designers and manufacturers alternative, more efficient methods of manufacturing have been developed to help reduce their cost. This paper outlines some of the developments that have been achieved in the milling of blisks so as to make them more commercially available.

Abstract:
This paper presents Reverse Engineering based methods for the adaptive manufacturing and repair of blades and blisks. This technology compensates for part-to-part variation as well as inaccurate clamping position and maintains manufacturing tolerances for the actual parts within a minimal value. The systems are integrated in standard machine tools as well as in the existing CMM, CAD, CAM and CAQ environment. All solutions utilize robust and precise 3D scanning systems and application specific data processing software. The presented solutions fit into the sphere of workshop. The main premises are the quality of the machining results and the simplicity of operation. The flexibility of the adaptive approach is demonstrated by different existing and future applications: reprofiling of straight blade tips, reprofiling of blades with specially shaped final domains, automatic blisk repair and adaptive belt grinding.

Abstract:
Abstract The aviation industry has been growing continuously over the past decades. Despite the current Covid-19 crisis, this trend is likely to resume in the near future. On an international level, initiatives like the Green Recovery Plan promoted by the European Union set the basis towards a more environmentally friendly future approach for the aero-industry. The increasing air traffic and the focus on a more sustainable industry as a whole lead to an extensive need for a more balanced assessment of a products life cycle especially on an ecological level. Blisks (or IBRs) remain a central component of every current and very possible every future aero engine configuration. Their advantages during operation compared to conventional compressor rotors are met with a considerably complex manufacturing and production process. In the high-pressure compressor segment of an engine, the material selection is limited to Titanium alloys such as Ti6Al4V and heat-resistant Nickel-alloys such as Inconel718. The corresponding process chains consist of numerous different process steps starting with the initial raw material extraction and ending with the quality assurance (cradle to gate). Especially the central milling process requires a highly qualified process design to ensure a part of sufficient quality. Life-Cycle-Assessments enable an investigation of a products overall environmental impact and ecological footprint throughout its distinct life-cycle. Formal LCAs are generally divided by international standards into four separate steps of analysis: the goal and scope definition, the acquisition of Life Cycle-Inventory, the Life-Cycle-Impact-Assessment and the interpretation. This content of this paper focuses on a general approach for Life-Cycle-Assessment for Blisk manufacturing. • Firstly, the goal and scope is set by presenting three separate process chain scenarios for Blisk manufacturing, which mainly differ in terms of raw material selection and individual process selections for blade manufacturing. • Secondly, the LCI data (Life-Cycle Inventory) acquisition is illustrated by defining all significant in- and outputs of each individual process step. • Thirdly, the approach of a Life-Cycle-Impact-Assessment is presented by introducing the modelling approach in an LCA-software environment. • Fourthly, an outlook and discussion on relevant impact-indicators for a subsequent interpretation of future results are conducted.

Abstract:
AlliedSignal Engines is addressing the critical concerns that are slowing commercialization of structural ceramics in gas turbines. The 331-200[CT] auxiliary power unit (APU) test bed features ceramic first-stage nozzles and blades. Fabrication of ceramic components provides manufacturing process demonstration scale-up to the minimum levels needed for commercial viability. On-site endurance tests are demonstrating component reliability, and additional field testing in APUs onboard commercial aircraft and stationary industrial engines is planned. Manufacturing scale-up activities showed significant progress during 1998. Subcontractors AlliedSignal Ceramic Components (Torrance, CA) and Kyocera Industrial Ceramics Corporation (Vancouver, WA) transitioned process refinements to full demonstration. Both suppliers achieved demonstration capability of ceramic nozzle production at the rate of 100 pieces/month. These suppliers are also developing fixed processes to fabricate ceramic integrally-bladed turbine rotor disks (“blisks”). Ceramic design technology advanced, and 776 hours engine operational testing of a ceramic blisk were successfully completed. Ceramic turbine nozzles were readied for planned field demonstrations, with 2.213 hours of engine endurance testing completed. High-temperature ceramic material tests in the cyclic oxidation test rigs were initiated, to establish functional operating temperature limits for current silicon nitride materials in gas turbine environments. This work was funded as part of the Turbine Engine Technologies Program by the U.S. Dept. of Energy Office of Transportation Technologies under Contract No. DE-AC02-96EE50454.

Full text
Abstract:
Initiated in 1994, a transonic fan in blisk configuration is being developed at MTU with the intention to replace a conventionally bladed titanium fan rotor stage. A major challenge in the structural development process of this blisk stage was to find a blade geometry with a sufficient bird strike resistance. This paper gives an overview of the combined analytical and experimental design process towards the final blisk blade geometry capable of resisting a worst-case 1 lb low speed bird strike at a typical aircraft take-off operating situation without blade loss. Starting with a first blade geometry a rig ingestion test in 1995 revealed an insufficient bird strike potential of this original blisk blade standard. The intensive analysis of the test result also showed that the analytical model established at MTU had to be adapted with respect to some decisive aspects of the analytical approach. This led to a revised method of meshing the blade leading edge, to a revised failure criterion of the material model and to a revised concept in modelling the bird slicing effect. This was done on the basis of several ‘static’ shooting tests on cantilever steel specimens and on single blade segments of the original blisk. The intention of these tests was to verify the analytical model with respect to quantitatively reliable predictions of local large strain (up to 60% plastic strain) at high rates of strain. With these revised analytical methods the blisk geometry was redesigned (increased blade hub cross sections) and with a rig ingestion test of a 1 lb pigeon at take-off rotational speed the required capability of the final blisk geometry was verified in 1996.

Abstract:
For a considerable amount of time blade integrated disks (blisks) are established as a standard component of high pressure compressors (HPCs) in aero engines. Due to the steady requirement to increase the efficiency of modern HPCs, blade profiles get thinned out and aerodynamic stage loading increases. Ever since, aerofoil design has to balance structural and aerodynamic requirements. One particularity of aero engines is the possibility to ingest different kinds of debris during operation and some of those particles are hard enough to seriously damage the aerofoil. Lately, a growing number of blisk-equipped aero engines entered service and the question of foreign object damage (FOD) sensitivity relating to compressor blade high cycle fatigue (HCF) has emerged. Correct prediction of fatigue strength drop due to a FOD provides a huge chance for cost cutting in the service sector as on-wing repairs (e.g. borescope blending) are much more convenient than the replacement of whole blisks and corresponding engine strips. The aim of this paper is to identify critical FOD-areas of a modern HPC stage and to analyze the effects of stress concentrations — caused by FOD — on the fatigue strength. A process chain has been developed, that automatically creates damaged geometries, meshes the parts and analyses the fatigue strength. Amplitude frequency strength (af-strength) has been chosen as fatigue strength indicator owing to the fact, that amplitudes and frequencies of blade vibrations are commonly measured either by blade tip timing or strain gauges. Furthermore, static and dynamic stress concentrations in damaged geometries compared to the reference design were computed. A random variation of input parameters was performed, such as the radial damage position at blade leading edge and damage diameter. Based on results of the different samples, correlations of input parameters and the fatigue strength drop have been investigated. Evaluation shows a significant mode dependence of critical blade areas with a large scatter between drops in fatigue strength visible for mode to mode comparison. Keeping in mind the necessity of fast response times in the in-service sector, FOD sensitivity computations could be performed for all blade rows of the HPC — including the analysis of possible borescope blending geometries — in the design stage. Finally, the actual amplitude frequency levels (af-levels) of the modes excited during operation have to be appropriately taken into consideration. For example, a pronounced af-strength drop due to a FOD may not be critical for safe engine operations because the observed mode is excited by small af-levels during operation. Hence, the endurance ratio — a quotient of af-level and af-strength — is used as assessment criterion.

Abstract:
An advanced transonic compressor was tested in the Compressor Research Facility at the Aero Propulsion Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. This compressor was designed, built, and instrumented by the General Electric Company under Air Force contract. During this test, the compressor was operated with seven different total pressure distortion screens located at the inlet, along with baseline testing of two “clean” inlet configurations. Of particular interest was the forced vibratory response of the compressor first stage integrally bladed disk (blisk) to the various distortions. This paper presents a summary of the blisk vibratory responses to each of the distortion screens. Effects of instrumentation on the dynamic response of the blisk are illustrated. In addition, the measured steady total pressure inlet distortion profiles for each screen are shown with a summary of the instrumentation used to make the various steady and dynamic measurements.

Abstract:
The F110-GE-129 EFE (Enhanced Fighter Engine), presently undergoing qualification testing, is being offered at two different thrust/inspection levels with a maximum augmented thrust of 34,000 pounds. The EFE has been developed using low risk derivative engine technology. It features a new increased airflow, high efficiency, three-stage long chord blisk fan and an advanced radial augmentor that reduces complexity, improves maintainability and provides increased parts life. The paper first provides a historical background of the F110 engines to relate the heritage of the F110-GE-129 EFE. The F110 engine model development roadmap is shown to illustrate the incremental low risk approach used to provide thrust growth with improved product reliability. A detailed description of the unique power management features of the EFE engine to meet individual customer thrust and life requirements is outlined. The long chord blisk fan design, development and test results are presented followed by a description of the radial augmentor and the exhaust nozzle. The EFE engine has successfully completed sea level static and altitude development testing and fan aero mechanical qualification at the AEDC in Tullahoma, Tennessee.

Abstract:
With the increasing demands placed on modern gas turbine components, improvements in high temperature compatible damping technology are required. The areas of application include turbine airfoils, struts, guide vanes, exhaust ducts, and similar components. The need for improved damping elements is especially acute for integrally bladed disks (“blisks”). Constrained powder shear dampers, using thin pockets of high temperature compatible powders meets these needs. With damping performance comparable to current visco-elastic elements, shear powder damping elements add the capability of high temperature operation, compatibility with blade heat treatments, good high frequency damping characteristics, and minimal degradation predicted for high centrifugal loads. Building on previous fundamental work, this paper discusses a proof of concept application of powder shear damping to a thin beam. Both cantilever and free-free configurations are examined. Comparisons between experimental measurements of undamped, constrained layer visco-elastic damping, and powder shear damped beams are presented. FEA results for the cantilever configuration are also shown to correlate well with the experimental data.
