Full textStudiens syfte var att undersöka vad pedagogerna anser om återvinning i förskolan. För att ta reda på detta intervjuades åtta förskollärare. Fyra av förskollärarna arbetade i relativt nystartade förskolor och fyra arbetade på förskolor som funnits i många årtionden. Förskollärarna var i olika åldrar och hade olika lång erfarenhet i yrket. Resultatet visade att på de förskolor jag gjort min undersökning arbetar de inte mycket på ett medvetet sätt med återvinning, däremot gör de det utan att tänka på att det är återvinning. De nyare förskolorna arbetar mindre med återvinning än de äldre. Det var delade meningar bland pedagogerna angående deras eget intresse för återvinning samt arbetslagets inställning till det. Däremot var samtliga pedagoger överens om att återvinning är viktigt att ha med i förskolan, då det är förskolan som lägger grunden för allt lärande. Tidsbrist och brist på förutsättningar var några av anledningarna pedagogerna uppgav till att de inte arbetar med återvinning. En annan orsak kan vara brist på intresse hos förskolecheferna.

Full textBy filtering the water in streams and lakes, clams make waters cleaner and clearer and this inturn contributes to a healthier ecosystem and provides ecosystem services for humans.Freshwater clams also play an important role as food for other animals. In Sweden there are 24different species of pea clams (Sphaeriidae). Not much is known about pea clams and theconsequences if they would disappear from the ecosystem are so far unclear. Relatively smallamounts of research have been done about them and this study is meant to contribute toincreased understanding of pea clams. In this report the significance of sediments for pea clamswere studied. Differences in water depth was also studied. Four lakes in the area aroundSkaraborg was investigated. The study showed that there was no correlation between presenceand water depth. The studied depths were 20cm and 100cm. The study found that there exists asignificant difference between soft and other types of sediments. Previous research showedsimilar results. Depending on the species the habitat may differ since pea clams have a widespectrum of ecological niches. Most clams were found in soft sediments, but they were alsodetected in other sediment types (middle and hard). Their occurrence also depended on the flowproperties of the water (calm vs. flowing).

Full textBuildings account for a large part of society's energy consumption and therefore action is needed to improve energy efficiency in today's real estate properties. This study concerns five real estate companies in Malmö and their work with energy efficiency measures. The study is based on semi-structured interviews with representatives of the five companies. The interviews have been analyzed using a resource-based theoretical framework on strategic environmental work in organizations. The framework describes how a successful strategic work requires investment in four key categories of resources; physical resources, human resources, social resources and organizational resources. The study shows that the property owners consider energy as a priority and see both opportunities and problems with actions of energy efficiency, as they highlight the lack of financial incentives as the most problematic. The study shows that companies prioritize in different ways when it comes to energy activities, depending on the size of their organization. Larger property companies highlight investments in physical and organizational resources as important, while smaller companies focus on social resources, rather than organizational. The size of the organization also seems to influence whether they choose to have energy expertise internally or choose to buy external knowledge when needed. Overall, the study shows that the property owner’s claims to prioritize the energy issue and their efforts to improve energy efficiency are underway.
