Abstract:
Este artigo tem como objetivo expor a crítica de Henri-Bergson ao dualismo na tradição filosófica. Nosso intuito é demonstrar que Bergson se diferencia fundamentalmente do dualismo e da perspectiva ontológica da tradição filosófica - ainda que se utilize em toda sua obra de dualismos que aparecem sob a forma do método. Bergson se contrapõe, sobretudo, ao privilégio do ser transcendental enquanto forma estática e imóvel conferida pelo Platonismo e endossa sua crítica à tradição em um debate constante com o famoso paradoxo da corrida entre Aquiles e a Tartaruga do filósofo grego Zenão de Eléia. Ao desvelar os problemas do Platonismo e da escola de Eléia, Bergson pretende nos revelar uma ontologia do devir e do movimento.

Abstract:
Resumo: O texto aqui apresentado analisa aspectos relevantes da complexa relação que Bergson estabelece com Kant. Defende-se a hipótese de que Bergson não pode ser considerado mero adversário do filósofo alemão, mas seu projeto filosófico tem como objetivo retomar a metafísica, levando em consideração os limites que a crítica kantiana lhe impôs. Nesse sentido, a Crítica da Razão Pura, à qual Bergson dedicou sua atenção, serve de guia e apoio para a colocação das questões propriamente metafísicas, as quais a filosofia da duração busca responder. Procuramos mostrar também que, se Bergson criticou Kant em vários momentos da sua obra, foi apenas na medida em que a Crítica o impedia e impedia os outros de avançar. A relação entre as interdições kantianas para a razão especulativa e as ilusões da inteligência dissolvidas em A Evolução Criadora revela como Kant condensa ilusões que existiam antes dele e que, nesse sentido, Bergson não é nem pré-crítico, nem pós-kantiano. Em suma, defendemos que Bergson desloca as análises críticas e rompe com Kant do interior de sua filosofia, que ele divide em duas tendências - uma que ele rejeita, como antiga, outra da qual ele se apropria.

O presente artigo tem o intuito de refletir em que sentido o pensamento de Henri Bergson se apresenta como original e revolucionário diante da tradição filosófico-científica de sua época a partir da criação do conceito de duração. Além disto, deseja ressaltar a importância do método da intuição em sua filosofia e alguns dos seus principais desdobramentos, especialmente no campo da educação. A partir daí, procura discutir, em conclusão, em que sentido a filosofia bergsoniana continua sendo capaz de trazer importantes contribuições para a reflexão de algumas questões de nosso tempo, iluminando-as de forma profunda e criadora.

Abstract:
O presente artigo explora o conceito de cômico no livro O riso, de Henri Bergson, o qual é apresentado por pressupostos sociológicos e biológicos, distanciando-se de toda uma tradição teórica sobre as artes cômicas, de feições intelectualistas. Com isso, tem-se uma definição particular do cômico, distanciada de um emprego moralizante, porém com a função de regulador social, ou mecanismo inconsciente de correção das excentricidades. O riso, por ser um livro situado no meio da trajetória da obra de Bergson, antecipa ideias dos outros livros, tendo a virtude de agregar conceitos de todo o pensamento do autor. Com isso, pretende-se explorar a originalidade do posicionamento da questão sobre o riso, como instrumento de sociabilidade, e ao mesmo tempo compreendê-la pela intersecção das obras de Bergson.

Esta proposta reflexiva buscará contrastar duas abordagens filosóficas que tem a linguagem como protagonista, de personagens de vida contemporânea (Ludwig Wittgenstein e Henri Bergson), e expor a consequência de cada uma delas para a própria função da Filosofia. Além disso, buscarei desenvolver a sugestão de que a confusão entre tempo e espaço que Bergson denunciara parece estar presente nas Investigações de Wittgenstein. Para isso, analisaremos o desenvolvimento argumentativo do percurso que vai até o parágrafo 88 das Investigações filosóficas, e partes pontuais dos dois primeiros capítulos do Ensaio sobre os dados imediatos da consciência, de Bergson, ilustrando posteriormente este texto com a exposição da conferência que este realizara em Oxford, tratando dos temas do movimento e da mudança, que podem ser lidas quase que como um prelúdio da confusão entre tempo e espaço, para que entendamos melhor do que se trata.

A existência de parentesco estrutural entre o organismo e a obra de arte é pensada desde a Poética de Aristóteles. Esta hipótese repete-se no pensamento contemporâneo, como, por exemplo, no estudo Bergson (1931), de Vladimir Jankélévitch. Este ensaio tem, como principal objetivo, examinar quais aspectos presentes no referido estudo garantem uma aproximação entre as esferas orgânica e artística. Num segundo momento, verificaremos em que pontos estas eventualmente se distanciam. Além disso, analisaremos se a relação entre arte e vida, percebida por Jankélévitch em sua leitura de Bergson, possui alguma repercussão na estética jankélévitchiana.Abstract: The presence of a structural bond between the organism and the work of art is already considered by AristotleÊs Poetics. This hypothesis reappears in contemporary thought, as we can notice in V. JankélévitchÊs study Bergson (1931). This essay intends to examine which aspects, cited in the aforementioned study, provide a possible approach between the organic and the artistic. It will be also verified in which points those two spheres may eventually differ from each other. Furthermore, it will be analyzed to what extent the connection between life and art, observed by Jankélévitch in his reading of Bergson, may have influenced jankélévitchian aesthetics.

Esse artigo defende que as ressonâncias da filosofia de Bergson no século xx francês ultrapassam a divisão estabelecida por Foucault entre as filosofias do cogito e as filosofias de sistema (ou do conceito). O impacto de sua obra tem como razão principal a capacidade de articular o retorno à experiência (em sentido ampliado) e a incorporação do trabalho de sistematização de dados realizado pelas ciências do século XIX. Tal articulação delimita o teor empirista da filosofia de Bergson, que pode ser analisado em comparação com os empiristas do XVIII. Examinamos nesse contexto como o trabalho crítico dirigido às ideias abstratas que conduzem a filosofia a perder de vista o concreto é o fator de convergência entre Bergson e Merleau-Ponty. Por outro lado, mostramos que a análise filosófica sobre a biologia evolutiva relaciona o bergsonismo ao projeto epistemológico de Canguilhem.

O artigo explora aspectos do Sensacionismo, movimento da vanguarda portuguesa – iniciado na Revista Orpheu por Fernando Pessoa e Mário de Sá-Carneiro –, tendo como foco explorar proximidades entre o conceito pessoano de sensação e aquele formulado pela filosofia de Henri Bergson (1859-1941). Explicitando as possíveis relações do pensamento do filósofo francês com aquele de Pessoa, teorizado e experimentado pelo poeta em sua obra tanto poética quanto crítica, tem-se como objetivo destacar a atualidade e a pertinência do conceito de sensação de Pessoa para as reflexões filosóficas e poéticas da atualidade.

Abstract:
Thermal rearrangements of Berson TMMs have been investigated. For this purpose, the potential energy surface of the singlet S state has been explored to test Benson&rsquo
s Schemes 1-2 (Figure 1.10 and 1.11). It is verified that the enyne 9c plays a central role in connecting the two portions of the reaction path (Berson Schemes 1 and 2). Connectivity of successive minima on a given surface has been verified by intrinsic reaction coordinate (IRC) computations. Density functional theory (DFT) and multiconfiguration self consistent field (MCSCF) methods have been employed for these purposes. Further, single point coupled-cluster singles and doubles with perturbative triples (CCSD(T)) energy computations have been carried out at optimized DFT or MCSCF geometries. All transition states (TS) connecting each neighboring minimum have been located in the proposed mechanisms. It is concluded that the proposed mechanisms are confirmed by the theoretical calculations. The computed activation energy and enthalpy of reaction values are in good agreement with the available experimental values, only differing by a few kcal mol-1.

Dieser Tagungsband enthält die schriftlich ausgearbeiteten Vorträge einer im September 2019 durchgeführten wissenschaftlichen Fachtagung an der Technischen Universität Berlin zum Thema „Bauleitplanung in Gebieten nach den §§ 30 und 34 BauGB“. Trotz Novellierungen städtebaulicher- und umweltrechtlicher Vorschriften sind die Überplanung von bereits beplanten Gebieten (§ 30 BauGB) und von Grundstücksflächen im unbeplanten Innenbereich (§ 34 BauGB) aktueller denn je. Fragen nach der Vermeidung von Planungsschäden, zur Berücksichtigung von Eigentumsrechten, zu den Sicherungsmöglichkeiten der Bauleitplanung und zur Wahl des geeignetsten Planungsinstruments sind relevant. Weiterhin spielen umweltrechtliche Anforderungen eine maßgebliche Rolle. Auch aktuelle Anlässe, wie die Einführung des „Urbanes Gebiet“ (§ 6a BauNVO) sowie zurückliegende Vorgaben, wie Fluchtlinienpläne, lassen die Überplanung von Gebieten nach den §§ 30-34 BauGB oft komplexer werden als Neuplanungen auf der grünen Wiese. In the past years, we have seen a growing demand to establish building land, especially for the provision of housing. Here, unplanned inner-areas have a particular importance. Abstract:
In the past half-decade the idea of 1968 has taken on a set of diverse and contradictory political meanings. This chapter interrogates the important function played by the memory of the year’s social upheavals within the work of a range of activists and intellectuals: Paul Berman, Angela Davis, Tom Hayden, Todd Gitlin, Bill Ayers, Robert Stone and Susan Brownmiller. All of these figures participated in the events of 1968 as New Left activists in one form or another. In the intervening period, however, they have used memories of 1968 to explain both mutations and continuities in their historical and political thinking. In assessing these developments, the chapter argues that these comparable reconfigurations of the idea of 1968 highlight both the significance and the ambiguity of the year’s events for contemporary political thinking, and suggest that the binary division between New Left and New Right needs to be reconfigured into order to understand the political legacy of 1968 in and beyond the United States.

The ability to understand the salient aspects of innovations, as perceived by the members of a social system, is essential to the success of planned change. The diffusion of information technology in the public sector provides the opportunity to apply the appropriateness of diffusion theory in a combined context of information technology and public policy innovation. Past studies support the salience of diffusion theory and the adoption of information technology (Attewell, 1992; Brancheau & Wetherbe, 1990; Chau & Tam, 1997; Cooper & Zmud, 1990; Damanpour, 1991; Fichman, 1992; Swanson, 1994; Tornatzky & Fleischer, 1990). Other studies suggest that existing theory in public policy adoption adequately provide a framework to guide research in technology adoption in the public sector (Akers, 2006; Berman & Martin, 1992; Berry, 1994; Berry & Berry, 1990; Glick & Hays, 1991; Gray, 1973; Hays, 1996; Hwang & Gray, 1991; Mintrom, 1997; Rogers, 1962; True & Mintrom, 2001; Walker, 1969; Welch & Thompson, 1980) However, there is little research that combines both frameworks for understanding the adoption of information technology in public organizations or within political subdivisions. Using classical diffusion theory, information technology adoption, and public policy adoption theory, there is sufficient contextual relevance of these theories to guide research in the adoption of public information technology in public organizations and political subdivisions.

Abstract:
Aldehydes such as 1 are readily available by direct enantioselective chlorination. Robert Britton of Simon Fraser University found (Org. Lett. 2010, 12, 4034) that the addition of the kinetic ketone enolate 2 gave the anti aldol 3. Condensation of the chlorohydrin 3 with a primary amine led to the cyclic pyrrolinium salt, that was reduced with high diastereocontrol to (+)-preussin 4. Tom Livinghouse of Montana State University developed Sc catalysts for the cyclization of γ-amino terminal alkenes such as 5. In contrast, addition to internal alkenes was sluggish. He has now shown (Org. Lett. 2010, 12, 4271) that a thiophene substituent activated the internal alkene for addition, enabling the facile synthesis of (±)-xenovenine 7. Chaozhong Li of the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry found (Chem. Commun. 2010, 46, 8436) that ferrocenium ion cleanly oxidized the enolate of the β-keto ester 8, effecting cyclization to 9. The D-tryptophan-derived ester that directed the relative and absolute configuration of the cyclization could readily by removed, delivering (+)-subincanadine F 10. In a complementary approach to indole alkaloid synthesis, Hans-Ulrich Reissig of the Freie Universität Berlin devised (Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 2010, 49, 8021) the elegant SmI2 -mediated double cyclization of 11 to 12. This set the stage for the assembly of (±)-strychnine 13. James S. Panek of Boston University used (Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. 2010, 49, 6165) the enantiomerically pure allylic silanes that he has developed to construct the chloroaldehyde 14. He found that the reductive cyclization to 15 was best carried out with SmI2 in benzene. SmI2 has the virtue that it is soluble in common organic solvents, so it can readily be deployed even on a micromolar scale. It is also versatile, because its reducing power can be tuned by the solvent in which it is dissolved.

Abstract:
La poesía gráfica se ha consolidado en los últimos años como uno de los campos de experimentación del cómic más activo y fructífero. La exploración de las posibilidades del cómic alejadas de la tradicional narratividad secuencial ha permitido entroncar la narración visual con la poesía concreta y caligramática, encontrando una relación cuya naturalidad y potencialidad resulta sorprendente (McHale, 2010). Aunque las primeras experiencias de la poesía gráfica pueden ser rastreadas en la obra de George Herriman y en la fundacional Poema en viñetas de Dino Buzzatti, en la última década se ha producido un desarrollo espectacular desde el espacio de libertad que representa la autoedición y el fanzinismo. Autores y autoras como Bianca Stone, Warren Craghead o Tom Hart han marcado un camino que en España ha sido seguido por una activa generación de jóvenes autores y autoras entre los que destacan Cynthia Alfonso, Klari Moreno, Julia Huete, María Medem, Óscar Raña, Begoña García-Alén, Andrés Magan o Roberto Masso, entre otros. En este trabajo, analizaremos la obra de García-Alén (Pontevedra, 1989), estudiando la evolución que se ha producido desde sus primeras publicaciones autoeditadas en su sello Noche Liquida, como Lujo Infinito (2015), La máscara de oro (2016), Orden y Forma (2016), Unha Gran Dama (2017) y Nueva Mística de Vigo (2018), a las publicadas por editoriales alternativas, como Perlas del Infierno (Fosfatina, 2014) o Nuevas estructuras (Apa Apa Cómics, 2017). Nos centraremos especialmente es esta última, examinando sus estrategias de narración visual a través del simbolismo, la composición espacial y cromática y el montaje analítico como estructura temporal interna de la página.
