This is a preliminary survey of time units used or mentioned in ancient and medieval works written in Sanskrit and other Indian languages. The fields of the works surveyed are jyautiṣa, paurāṇika, uttara-vaidika, smārta, bauddha, and jaina literatures, includingChinese translations of bauddha works. No small portion of the data presented in the following sections has already been taken up and explained in the works mentioned at the end of this section, but I newly collected the data from the original sources and arranged them in my own way according to my own interest.

Abstract:
The historical Analysis of Baudha Stupa and Kassap Buddha is the study of the history of Baudha stupa of Baudha Kathmandu Nepal. The main objective of the study is to analyze the historical importance of Boudhanath Stupa and Kasyap Buddha. Comparative Historical Analysis (CHA) method has been applied to analyze the collected facts and information. The story of Nalanika (Nalanika Jatak Katha) claims that Shringa (Having a horn in head) sage was the grandson of Kassap and son of Vibhandak sages was born in Mahalaxmi municipality, Lankuri Bhanjyang Shringa Rishi Ashram. Therefore, Kassap Buddha had visited and settled few times in the municipality. Thus Baudha Stupa – made by relics of Kassap Budha- Baudha Kathmandu has clear relation with Shringa Rishi Ashram of Lalitpur.

Abstract:
During the Majapahit era, the Nagarakrtagama book in the form of kakawin (Old Javanese poetry) was composed by Mpu Prapanca, the kakawin was completed in 1365 AD. no longer exist because it collapsed or the location is not yet known. Using an archaeological-historical approach, this study discusses several sacred buildings mentioned in the Nagarakrtagama whose existence can still be known archaeologically. The analysis was carried out by combining the written data from Nagarakrtagama with archaeological data in the form of temples on the site, to then review some of the features of the temple building. Through the analysis carried out, it can be seen that during the Majapahit era there were at least 3 types of religious buildings based on their religious background, namely Hindu-saiwa, Bauddha, and Shiva-Buddha. The most sacred buildings erected are Hindu-saiwa, it seems that in general, the Majapahit population embraces this religion. There is also a two-religious temple, namely Shiva-Buddha and a pendharmaan temple building that was erected to glorify a deceased figure, while a rare Bauddha sacred building is found in Majapahit. It seems that Buddhism did develop on a limited basis at that time.Key words: Majapahit, Hinduism, Buddha, temple, Mahameru, gods

It discusses the philosophies like Sankhya, Yog, Nyaya, Vaiseshik, Mimamsa and Vedanta that fall under six basic philosophies and three other philosophies like Charvak, Jain, and Bauddha which discard the existence of Veda. This essay briefly analyses metaphysics and epistemology, and discusses the metaphysics and epistemology of those nine different philosophies originated in the eastern landscape. Talking about metaphysics, this article has mentioned twenty-five Tatwa including Prakriti and Purush under Sankhya philosophy. Under Yog philosophy, there are twenty-six Tatwa, sixteen matters in Nyaya philosophy, seven matters in Vaiseshik philosophy, Panchakarma in Mimamsa philosophy, Bramhaism in Vedanta philosophy, materialism in Charvak philosophy, multi-physicalism (Bahutatwabad) in Jain philosophy and zeroism (Sunyabad) in Buddhist philosophy as discussed in the article. Regarding epistemology, there is discussion of the philosophy of good deed (Satkaryabad) in Sankhya philosophy, description of Chitta and eight folded yoga in Yog philosophy, discussion of Prama, Paramata, Praman and Prameya under Nyaya philosophy, atomism (Paramanubad) in Vaiseshik philosophy, Dharmaphal in Mimamsa philosophy, types of knowledge and ways of achieving salvation in Vedanta philosophy, description of physical world in Charvak philosophy, types of knowledge and their methods in Jain philosophy, and lastly, Karmabad, Anityabad, Anatmabad, Sunyabad, kshanikbad in Buddhist philosophy.]

Abstrak Pendidikan Spiritual Keagamaan melalui Sastra Daerah: Deskripsi dan Analisis Teks Sastra Lisan Bauda. Pendidikan dianggap sebagai alternatif yang bersifat preventif untuk membangun moral generasi muda sehingga dapat meminimalkan penyebab berbagai masalah budaya dan karakter bangsa. Salah satu sumber belajar untuk memberikan pendidikan moral adalah warisan budaya berupa sastra lisan yang mengandung gagasan dan makna filosofis yang berakar dari budaya lokal. Sastra lisan bauda merupakan salah satu warisan budaya masyarakat Melayu Tapung di Provinsi Riau yang menyampaikan petuah dan nasihat, aturan adat, dan kisah-kisah yang mengandung hikmah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis nilai-nilai spiritual keagamaan dan pendidikan moral yang terkandung dalam sastra lisan bauda. Rancangan penelitian ini dalam bentuk deskriptif kualitatif yang memaparkan dan menganalisis data sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sastra lisan bauda memuat nilai-nilai pendidikan agama yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kekuatan spiritual. Pendidikan karakter melalui sastra lisan ini diharapkan mampu membentuk pribadi yang memiliki akhlak mulia, pengendalian diri, kecerdasan, dan keterampilan yang diperlukan dirinya, masyarakat, bangsa dan negara.Kata kunci: Pendidikan, spiritual keagamaan, sastra lisan, Bauda Abstract Religious Spiritual Education through Local Literature: Description and Analysis of Oral literature Bauda. Education is considered as alternative which is preventive to build young generation moral so it can minimized the cause of various culture problems and nation character. One of learning resource to provide moral education is culture heritage in the form of oral literature which contain ideas and meaning of philosophy which are rooted from local culture. Oral literature bauda is one of culture heritage of Melayu Tapung community in Riau Province which convey advise and message, custom rule, and stories which contain wisdom. The aim of this study is analyze values of religious spiritual and moral education which are contained in oral literature bauda. The design of this study is in the form of qualitative descriptive which explain and analyze data in accord with the aim of study. The result of study show that oral literature bauda contain religion education values which can be used to enhance the spiritual power. Straipsnyje nagrinėjamas ryšys tarp žmogaus socialinio elgesio priežasčių, sprendimo priėmimo, tikslo pasirinkimo ir atsakomybės. Žmogus, pradėdamas veiklą, anticipuoja tos veiklos rezultato vertę: ji yra viena iš motyvacijos sudedamųjų dalių. Analizuojami atsakomybės psichologiniai aspektai. Svarstomi atsakomybės subjekto ir stebėtojo skirtingi veiksmo vertinimai: atlikėjas siekia tuo mažiau imtis atsakomybės, kuo sunkesnės jo poelgio pasekmės. Stebėtojas, priešingai, tuo labiau yra linkęs priskirti atsakomybę atlikėjui, kuo sunkesnės atlikėjo poelgio pasekmės. Atsakomybė už sprendimą padidėja, jei jis paskelbiamas kitiems. Už neatsakingumą visuomenė baudžia, taikydama oficialias ir moralines sankcijas. Interiorizavusi visuomenės normas, asmenybė už neatsakingumą baudžia pati save, patirdama savo vertės sumažėjimą. Tai pasireiškia į save nukreiptu agresyvumu – gėdos ir kaltės jausmais. Keliama veiklos aplinkybių kontroliavimo problema – subjekto galimybė aktyviai paveikti aplinką. Racionalus objektyvių veiklos aplinkybių keitimas natūraliai didina savarankiškumą, pasitikėjimą, o kartu ir atsakomybę.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan hasil optimalisasi penugasan pekerja di UD. Tiga Baudara menggunakan metode Hungarian. Permasalahan yang ditemukan pada penelitian ini adalah setiap karyawan menghabiskan waktu yang berbeda dalam menyelesaikan suatu pekerjaan. Untuk menyelesaikan masalah ini, digunakan metode Hungarian dalam mengefisienkan waktu yang dihabiskan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa optimalisasi perhitungan menggunakan metode Hungarian diperoleh total waktu optimal dalam menyelesaikan suatu pekerjaan yaitu 39 jam dibandingkan dengan hasil yang diperoleh sebelum menggunakan metode Hungarian yaitu 42,87 jam, dan biaya produksi yang dikeluarkan meubel adalah Rp 1.664.000 dengan keuntungan meubel Rp 886.000.Kata kunci : Metode Hungarian, Penugasan, Program Linear.

Abstract:
Introduction: Knowledge of pelvic inflammatory disease and its epidemiology is essential to understand reproductive morbidity in women. This paper estimates the level of association between demographic factors and pelvic inflammatory disease in women in their reproductive age. Methods: A descriptive study done in Humla, Kritipur and Baudha by organizing a health camp. Women of reproductive age group and who have lower abdominal pain, pervaginal discharge, fever, and dysparunia were included in the study after taking informed verbal consent from the patient. Patients who have lower abdominal pain and pervaginal discharge were diagnosed as pelvic inflammatory disease. Results: Diagnoses of pelvic inflammatory disease were made in 30% of attendances amongst women aged between 16 to 48. Increased risk of pelvic inflammatory disease was associated with smoking (P<0.0001), age groups 31 – 40 yrs (44.6%),in rural areas(45%) and people who are illiterate (P<0.0001). Among 400, 383(95%) were reported ever using a modern contraceptive. Conclusion: The prevalence of pelvic inflammatory disease was 30% in reproductive age group and was significantly associated with smoking.doi: http://dx.doi.org/10.3126/mjsbh.v13i1.12992

The article analyses the main tendencies in Poland according to the system of penalties basis on the pro­visions of Polish Penal Code and amendments to them. The article focuses on the review of the penalties like: fine, restriction of liberty, deprivation on liberty, modifications of adjudicated penalty, mitigation or extraordinary enhancement of the statutory maximum penalty and the main consequences in the case of the introducing these amendments to the Penal Code.

Šiame darbe apžvelgtos ekonominės sankcijos – jų reglamentavimas mokesčių įstatymuose, taikomi principai bei ištirti šios sankcijos atsiradimo, skyrimo pagrindai, atitinkamo dydžio nustatymas, atleidimo nuo baudų pagrindai ir kiti svarbūs klausimai, turintys reikšmės visapusiškai įstatyminio baudos įtvirtinimo analizei. Pagrindiniai norminiai teisės aktai aptariami ir nagrinėjami darbe – LR mokesčių administravimo įstatymas bei kiti mokesčių įstatymai, poįstatyminiai teisės aktai ir teismų praktika. Taip pat darbe buvo nagrinėjamas Ekonominio bendradarbiavimo ir plėtros organizacijos (angl. Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development – OECD) atliktas mokesčių administravimo tyrimas („Tax administration survey 2006“), kurį atliekant paaiškėjo, kad įvairių šalių mokesčių sistemos turi daugybę skirtumų, kurie turi tiesioginės įtakos mokesčių sistemų administravimui ir, galimas daiktas, jų veiksmingumui bei efektyvumui, o ypatingai dėmesys buvo atkreipiamas į už mokesčių įstatymų pažeidimus taikomą atsakomybę, t.y. atskirose valstybėse nustatytus ekonominių sankcijų - baudų dydžius. Atlikta lyginamoji analizė su kitose valstybėse įtvirtintomis atsakomybės priemonėmis – baudomis. Taip pat aptartos sankcijų sampratos teorijos, delspinigių kaip ekonominės sankcijos problema. The present Paper deals with economic sanctions – their regulation by tax laws, also with the applicable principles, elaborates on the origin of this sanction, the grounds of its imposition, establishment of the extent of this sanction, the grounds for the exemption from it and other important issues that are relevant to full analysis of the enforcement of the statutory sanction. The principal regulatory legal acts discussed and analysed in this Paper are the Republic of Lithuania Law on Tax Administration and other tax laws, secondary legislation and the case-law. Additionally, the Paper contains the analysis of the “Tax Administration Survey 2006” conducted by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), which has revealed that tax systems of different countries have numerous differences which directly affect the administration of tax systems and, possibly, their effectiveness and efficiency, paying particular attention to the liability for the violation of tax laws, i.e. amounts of economic sanctions – fines established in the individual states. The comparative analysis with liability measures – sanctions established in other states has been carried out. The present Paper also discusses the issue of the sanction conception theory and of late charges used as the economic sanction. Šiame darbe analizuojamas netesybų (baudos, delspinigių) ir palūkanų santykis civilinėje teisėje. Ši analizė paremta dviejų civilinės teisės institutų tarpusavio palyginimu. Nors teismų praktikos analizuojama tema yra pakankamai daug, tačiau teisės doktrinoje trūksta apibendrinimų, kurie formuotų aiškią ribą tarp netesybų (baudos, delspinigių) ir palūkanų. Todėl darbe gausu nuorodų į teismų praktiką. Siekiant aiškaus konteksto, darbas pradedamas nuo netesybų (baudos, delspinigių) ir palūkanų sampratų apsibrėžimo, kadangi pastaroji samprata nėra pateikta civilinės teisės norminiuose aktuose ir kelia daug klausimų bei neaiškumų tiek teisės doktrinoje, tiek teismų jurisprudencijoje. Taip pat šiame darbe gilinamasi į netesybų (baudos, delspinigių) ir palūkanų teisinio reguliavimo ypatumus Lietuvos Respublikoje, t. y., reikalavimus objektams, jų paskirtį civilinėje teisėje, skaičiavimo tvarką, ieškinio senaties taikymo probleminius aspektus, dydžio nustatymo bei mažinimo problematiką. Išanalizavus teisės doktriną ir teismų praktiką, išaiškėja netesybų (baudos, delspinigių) ir palūkanų atribojimo klausimai.
This study concentrates on analysis of relation between penalty (fine, forfeit) and interest in civil law. An analysis is based on a comparison between two civil law institutes. Although the practice of courts related to the problem under the analysis is abundant enough, but the legal doctrine lacks generalizations forming a clear concept between penalty (fine, forfeit) and interest. For this reason, the study includes abundant references to case law. In order to clarify the context the study starts from definitions of the penalty (fine, forfeit) and the interest, as well as it raises many questions and ambiguities in legal doctrine and jurisprudence of the courts. This study also focuses on penalties (fines, forfeits) and regulatory features of interest in Lithuania, etc. ie, the requirements of objects, their purpose in civil law, the calculation procedure for the application of limitation problematic aspects of sizing and reducing problems. Such review of a legal doctrine and case law, resolve the issues of delimitation of penalty (fine, forfeit) and interest.

Abstract:
In late 1909, the Sinhalese Buddhist activist Anagarika Dharmapala hosted the Irish Buddhist monk U Dhammaloka on a controversial tour of Ceylon (Sri Lanka). This tour is well-documented from many different perspectives: Dharmapala’s private diaries, his newspaper Sinhala Bauddhaya, the hostile colonial and missionary press, and transcriptions of Dhammaloka’s preaching. This chapter shows backstage tension between Dhammaloka and his hosts as they followed a punishing schedule of events drawing large audiences across Ceylon; conflict with Christians who wrote against the tour, attempted to disrupt it, and sought government intervention; and the actions of police and government. Dhammaloka’s abrupt departure from Ceylon appears as the culmination of these conflicts. The chapter offers a detailed insight into the day-to-day workings of contentious religious politics during the Buddhist revival.

Abstract:
Sabiedrības drošība apskata apdraudējumus sabiedrības vai tās daļu tradicionālajiem dzīvesveidiem, paražām, reliģiskajām praksēm, etniskajām un nacionālajām īpatnībām. Sabiedrības drošības dimensija pēdējā desmitgadē ir bijusi gan politiskajā, gan akadēmiskajā dienaskārtībā, tomēr līdz šim nav ticis veikts pētījums, kas ļautu integrēt indivīdu identificētos draudus to identitātei kopējā Latvijas iedzīvotāju draudu uztveres skatījumā un vērtēt iespējamās cēloņsakarības, kuras pastāv starp uztvertajiem draudiem un atbilstošām rīcībpolitikām kā atbildēm uz tiem. Šajā grāmatas nodaļā identificēti tie sabiedrības draudu veidi, kurus Latvijas iedzīvotāji uzskata par nozīmīgiem, kā arī apskatīts, vai un kā vietējās pašvaldības reaģē uz iedzīvotāju bažām par apdraudējumiem sabiedrības drošības dimensijā. Analīzes rezultātā secināts, ka Latvijas iedzīvotāji identificē draudus to unikālajai patībai un atzīst tos kā būtisku izaicinājumu savai drošībai. Visbiežāk tos satrauc imigrācija kā potenciālais apdraudējums viņu subjektīvā vērtējumā. Kopumā Latvijas sabiedrība tiek raksturota kā slēgta, uz tradicionālām vērtībām orientēta. Savukārt reģionos iedzīvotāji izjūt plaisu starp reģionu un galvaspilsētu un uzsver, ka pastāv atsevišķa, nošķirta dzīve un dienaskārtība un līdz ar to divas atšķirīgas kopienas. Rezultātā kā nozīmīgākos iekšējos apdraudējuma avotus sabiedrības drošības sektorā Latvijas iedzīvotāji nosaukuši citus iedzīvotājus vai to grupas, kā arī valsts pārvaldes iestādes. Savukārt pašvaldības bauda lielāku uzticēšanos. Kā ārējais apdraudējuma avots galvenokārt minēta Krievijas Federācija. Pašvaldību darbības analīze liecina, ka kopumā pašvaldības reti un ierobežotā apjomā saredz savu lomu drošības stiprināšanā sabiedrības drošības sektorā. No iegūtajiem rezultātiem secināms, ka sabiedrības pārstāvju, kā arī pašvaldību darbinieku iesaiste plašākās diskusijās par drošību, pilsonisko audzināšanu un iekļaušanu ir būtisks faktors sabiedrības drošības stiprināšanā ar noteikumu, ka šāda veida aktivitātes būtu domātas visu sabiedrības grupu iekļaušanai, nevis kādas grupas izslēgšanai, identitātes apdraudēšanai vai tās nozīmīguma noliegšanai.
