Abstract:
A literature review and analysis evaluating how the practices of Intimacy Choreography support the aims of one of the Catholic Church's sexual abuse prevention programs collectively called VIRTUS. This article defines scenarios of legally unacceptable risk (high stakes) as well as legally acceptance risk (low stakes) and how the tools of Intimacy Choreography (Theatrical Intimacy Education, in particular) and VIRTUS both aim to establish and uphold boundaries, but in different capacities. This article compares the tools of each area, and makes an argument for how Intimacy Choreography's consent-based practices are a good for Catholic diocesan schools' theatre programs that utilize VIRTUS training.

Abstract:
Bathing suit ichthyosis (BSI) is a rare variant of autosomal recessive congenital ichthyosis (ARCI) due to transglutaminase-1 gene (TGM1) mutations leading to a temperature sensitive phenotype. It is characterized by dark-grey or brownish scaling restricted to the “bathing suit” areas. We report two Indian girls with bathing suit ichthyosis and mutations in TGM1 (patient 1: homozygous for c.1147G>A; patient 2: compound heterozygous for c.832G>A, c.919C>G).

Abstract:
In order to ensure compliance of knitted fabrics to the established requirements of bathing suits, technical regulation of quality is considered. The normative regulation of technical control of knitted fabrics for the production of bathing suits is carried out. The option of normative documentation of examination of knitted fabrics for bathing suits is presented by a set of standards. The standards of the «Product Quality Indicators System» complex establish the nomenclature of mandatory and recommended indicators for assessing the level of product quality in various light industry industries. The choice of measurement methods and processing of measurement results is regulated by DSTU 2681-94. Analytically substantiated nomenclature of quality indicators by level of application: mandatory, additional, recommended. The differential method of estimating the quality of a knitted fabric has been experimentally tested. The selection of quality indicators for testing samples of knitted fabric is made taking into account the purpose and conditions of use of the product, analysis of consumer requirements and additional and recommended requirements. The differential method in the examination of group quality indicators is carried out by comparing the individual quality indicators of the evaluated canvas with the basic indicators of homogeneous products by purpose. The object of the research is knitted fabrics for bathing suits, made by double weaving of double-elastic bands (interlock) on two-font interlock circular knitting machines type I2108-28 of the Terrot class. According to the results of the experimental study of the recommended nomenclature of physical and mechanical quality indicators, the compliance of the knitted fabric of raw materials PE + PA with the requirements of the Standard for the manufacture of bathing suits was confirmed. The influence of classification features of knitted fabric on the variation of discontinuous elongation in the assessment of the elasticity of the material by quality indices is confirmed.

Abstract:
Abstract With classic Hollywood movies, even the smallest details open into complexities. After quarreling with Dexter, who has called her (among other things) a “virgin god- dess,” Tracy sheds her bath-robe and then, dressed only in a pale-striped white bathing suit, walks determinedly to the diving board. Having climbed up, she pauses, glances off screen left (in the direction of the now- departed Dexter), squares her shoulders, and dives into the pool. The shot lasts under 15 seconds, unaccompanied by any dialogue or music. It seems longer. Tracy’s dive is one of The Philadelphia Story’s most memorable images.

Abstract:
The Honolulu elite blocked Freeth from becoming Duke’s manager. Although Freeth tried to reach the 1912 Olympics himself as a diver, the Amateur Athletic Union once again prevented him from competing. Freeth turned to training young swimmers like “Dolly” Mings and “Ludy” Langer, who successfully represented Redondo in state competition; their team quickly became the top swimming club in Southern California. Freeth also made headlines in the summer of 1912 for teaching Mings and other women how to surf and for founding the first surf club in California later that fall. Beach culture developed with bathing suit contests in Venice, and Freeth innovated lifeguarding gear with the torpedo tube and a three-wheeled motorcycle. He also starred in a film, The Latest in Life Saving.

Abstract:
Abstract A curious fact about our concept of style is that we seem unable to make up our minds about what sorts of things have styles. Works of art—paintings, plays, buildings, sculptures, operas—are said to be in one or another style, and so are objects such as bathing suits, neckties, and automobiles. But we often think of styles as ways of doing things, ways of performing actions. There are styles of teaching, styles of travel, styles of chess playing, and styles of selling insurance. Are styles attributes of objects, or of actions? James Ackerman regards them as attributes of objects, of works of art:

Abstract:
Abstract Cellulite-reducing cream, milkshakes that lead to weight loss, and bathing suits that make you look thinner—all of these products capitalize on women’s concerns about how their bodies look. Body dissatisfaction is a problem because it may lead to buying products that don’t work and may even be harmful rather than using the money on things like education, political clout, or health care. More important, though, body dissatisfaction may result in dangerous weight-loss techniques, sometimes culminating in eating disorders (e.g., McKnight Investigators, 2003; Stice & Bearman, 2001; Wertheim, Koerner, & Paxton, 2001). Body dissatisfaction may also contribute to the development of depression, including the emergence of gender differences in depression during adolescence (Stice & Bearman, 2001; Wichstrom, 1999).

Abstract:
This chapter looks at how South Korean young women were encouraged to become financially independent by being online entrepreneurs. It was shown that these young women very often explain their business success with their passion, their failure with their lack of grit. It is argued that instead of being free and independent, online entrepreneurs have to sell affective labour as well as commercial goods online. Young women also sexualise themselves regardless of the commercial goods that they sell; often they would wear bathing suits to sell unrelated product. Lastly, online businesses are seen as a way for mothers to rejoin the workforce while being dutiful mothers and housewives. A number of mother entrepreneurs frequently show pictures of them working while taking care of young children on social media sites.

Abstract:
Abstract When she was a blonde, doe-eyed teenager, Carol Doda’s future was not bright. A high-school dropout from Napa County, she landed in the Tenderloin in the early 1960s, where she quickly found a roommate and friend in a male hairstylist who shared his makeup tips with her. Doda fell in love with her roommate and became inconsolably jealous about his mysterious preference for male company. Her love unrequited, Doda took a job as a dancing cocktail waitress at the Condor go-go bar in North Beach and moved into the district. “Big” Davey Rosenberg, a corpulent, hard-nosed club promoter, saw great profit potential in Doda and encouraged her to perform her dance in one of designer Rudi Gernreich’s new “topless” bathing suits. On June 22, 1964, the twenty-year-old Doda metamorphosed from ingénue to internationally renowned sexual spectacle when she took to the stage at the Condor and revolutionized the local burlesque show circuit by baring her breasts in their entirety during her performance of the “swim” dance. She brazenly tossed aside the pasties that striptease dancers had worn for most of the century. Shortly thereafter—also at Rosenberg’s urging—Doda received one of the first silicone breast augmentations, increasing her modest bust size to a double D. Doda’s likeness, depicted on a forty-foot sign complete with red, illuminated nipples, towered over the intersection of Columbus Avenue and Broadway Street and became a landmark, drawing throngs of locals and tourists alike.
