Abstract:
The publication of the Dictionnaire universel of Furetière in 1690 ushered in the age of the encyclopaedic dictionary. This was a relatively short-lived phenomenon of little more than a hundred years, but one which pathed the way to modern encyclopaedias. Furetière having died in 1688, his successor was Basnage de Beauval, a protestant exile based in the United Provinces of the Netherlands. It was Basnage who in the new 1701 edition transformed the dictionary by enlarging it considerably to a more genuine encyclopaedic coverage and calling on specialists to rewrite key sections, notably on the natural sciences. The simile of the hourglass is a means to show how the dictionary mediated knowledge from a vast array of sources and made the data available to contemporary and current day users. This paper demonstrates the hourglass effect through the lexicographical and learned sources that Basnage and his major compiler of scientific data, Regis of Amsterdam, brought into service. It looks at how Regis used numerous botanical sources in writing entries on Brazilian flora. Finally, we examine the influence of the work on the phenomenon of the universal dictionary and the development of the encyclopaedia.

Abstract:
Publié en 1701, la version du Dictionnaire universel de Furetière révisée par l’émigré protestant Henri Basnage de Beauval contient de nombreuses mentions de la flore et de la faune brésiliennes, ce qui peut parait surprenant dans un dictionnaire de français. L’explication de cette singularité lexicographique se trouve dans le fait que Basnage a fait appel à un expert en histoire naturelle, le Dr. Régis, médecin huguenot réfugié à Amsterdam. Régis a créé des entrées très détaillées à partir de nombreuses sources en botanique et de récits des voyageurs de l’époque. L’approche qu’il propose dans ces entrées est véritablement encyclopédique. Dans ce texte, nous analysons les entrées concernant des arbres du Brésil afin de retrouver l’ensemble des textes sources employés par Régis. Nous comparons les entrées du Dictionnaire universel avec l’autre grand dictionnaire encyclopédique de l’époque, le Vocabulario portugais compilé par Bluteau (1712-1728). Les sources utilisées par Bluteau nous permettent quant à elles de mieux comprendre les descriptions de la flore brésilienne à une époque où la classification des plantes restait à faire et où la terminologie botanique était encore balbutiante.

Abstract:
Abstract The 17th century was a time of change in both agriculture and architecture as both nobility and newly rich bourgeois sought to embellish country residences with gardens and orchards. Not only were new plants arriving from overseas, but gardening was being revolutionised by the likes of Le Nôtre, de la Quintinie and the lesser known Fatio. This was reflected in the Dictionnaire universel de Antoine Furetière, the first genuinely encyclopaedic dictionary. This paper starts by introducing the LandLex initiative, pan-European synchronic and diachronic collaborative analyses of simple words concerning the landscape in historical dictionaries. We then look at a selected number of orchard trees and their fruit in two editions of the Dictionnaire universel: the first edition of 1690 and that revised by Basnage de Beauval in 1701. To an extent, Furetière applied a model for classifying trees and fruit that can be extracted by analysis. Some entries went into excessive detail as those of pear, a highly fashionable fruit at the time. One major difference between the two is Basnage’s move from a single author approach to the use of field experts in certain areas, amongst which botany. Much was simply carried over, but when Dr Régis, Basnage’s expert in medicine and natural history, deemed an entry of scientific interest it was given a rewrite with new background texts being cited, thereby widening our vision of developing 17th-century science.

/ Dositej’s enlightenment ideology is examined by interpreting the sym- bolic meanings of lion in Fables (1788). Applying literary-historical, structuralist and comparative methods of interpretation, the semantic range of literary lions is illuminated: from reference to (un)enlightened being (due to greed, destruction and bloodthirstiness) to reference to the characteristics and nature of enlightened beings (due to mercy, gratitude, purity). Dositej Obradović underlines the key ideas of enlightenment ideology through allegorical representations of lions, which reveal the basic characteristics of an enlightened ruler: love for all branches of science and art, nurturing and building the right taste, spreading useful knowledge among all social classes. If merciful/wise lion is the bearer of an enlightened mind, it means that the nature of an enlightened ruler, untouched by selfish individualism, promises a just political and social order. In order to reform people’s life and society, the ruler must lead the process of „coming out” from nonage by speaking out against coercion, inhumanity, superstition and bad customs.

Kanker payudara merupakan salah satu jenis kanker terbanyak di Indonesia. Berdasarkan Pathological Based Registration diIndonesia, kanker payudara menempati urutan pertama dengan frekuensi relatif sebesar 18,6%. Lebih dari 80% kasus ditemukan berada pada stadium lanjut, selain itu sebanyak 60-70% pencari pengobatan kanker payudara sudah dalam stadium lanjut sehingga upaya pengobatan sulit dilakukan. Oleh karena itu perlu pemahaman tentang upaya pencegahan dan diagnosis dini agar penemuan penderita dapat dilakukan pada stadium awal sehingga dapat menurunkan kematian akibat kanker payudara. Skrining kanker payudara merupakan pemeriksaan atau usaha untuk menemukan abnormalitas yang mengarah pada kanker payudara pada seseorang atau kelompok orang yang tidak mempunyai keluhan. Upaya awal untuk melakukan skrining kanker payudara adalah dengan SADARI. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk melatih para remaja putri agar lebih peka dalam mendeteksi secara dini adanya tanda-tanda kanker payudara. Metode yang dilakukan berupa ceramah, diskusi dan demonstrasi, sebelum dilakukan penyuluhan terlebih dahulu menilai tingkat pengetahuan peserta dengan cara pre test dan post test, begitu pun dengan pelatihan SADARI (pemeriksaan payudara sendiri) dilakukan dengan cara evaluasi kemampuan pada saat pelaksanaan SADARI (pemeriksaan payudara sendiri) yang dilakukan disekolah.Setelah dilakukan penyuluhan pengetahuan siswi SMK Kesehatan Basnaz meningkat 82,5 %, begitupun dengan keterampilan siswi meningkat menjadi 75 %, manual book pemeriksaan SADARI diberikan kepada guru pembina dan 30 siswi SMK Kesehatan Basnaz yang terlibat. Saran mendorong seluruh siswi untuk lebih komitmen dan teratur dalam pemeriksaan SADARI sebagai upaya deteksi dini kanker payudara, untuk pihak sekolah agar kiranya memasukkan gerakan pemeriksaan payudara sendiri kedalam prasat laboratorium.

In the Huguenot refugee community in The Netherlands, known as a hotbed of the early Enlightenment, literary interest in Judaism was ubiquitous, yet actual Dutch Jews were relegated to a marginal position in the exchange of ideas. It is this paradoxical experience of cultural participation and social exclusion that a major unpublished source allows to depict. The ex-converso Abraham Gómez Silveyra (1651–1741), a merchant endowed with rabbinic education and proficiency in French, composed eight manuscript volumes of theological reflections in Spanish literary prose and poetry. This huge clandestine series, which survives in three copies, shows the author’s insatiable curiosity for Christian thought. While rebutting Isaac Jacquelot’s missionary activity, he fraternizes with Pierre Jurieu’s millenarianism, Jacques Basnage’s historiography, and Pierre Bayle’s plea for religious freedom. Gómez Silveyra, however, being painfully aware of his voicelessness in the public sphere, enacts Bayle’s utopian project as a closed performance for a Jewish audience.

ABSTRACT South Labuhanbatu Regency is one of the largest fresh fruit bunch producing areas in Indonesia with the majority of the population being Muslim, so South Labuhanbatu Regency should have a large zakat potential for oil palm plantations in South Labuhanbatu Regency. Apparently, not in line with the expectations that occur in the field with the low level of literacy among oil palm farmers, causing delays in the distribution of zakat funds that should be paid annually, this makes zakat on plantation products or commonly referred to as zakat on assets still taboo among the people of Labuhanbatu district. South especially oil palm farmers. This should be a concern for everyone considering that zakat is not only a pillar of Islam that must be implemented, but zakat is also one of the most effective poverty alleviation instruments by developing productive zakat for the poor and needy. The zakat institution, BASNAZ, in South Labuhanbatu Regency, should take a look at this and take concrete actions in increasing zakat literacy for oil palm plantations in South Labuhanbatu Regency. Ternyata, tidak sejalan dengan ekspetasi yang terjadi di lapangan dengan rendahnya tingkat literasi di kalangan para petani kelapa sawit menjadikan tersendatnya penyaluran dana zakat yang seharusnya ditunaikan setiap tahunnya, hal tersebut menjadikan zakat hasil perkebunan atau biasa disebut dengan zakat harta masih tabu di kalangan masyarakat kabupaten Labuhanbatu Selatan terutama para petani kelapa sawit. Sudah seharusnya hal ini menjadi perhatian setiap kalangan mengingat bahsanya zakat tidak hanya merupakan rukun islam yang wajib dilaksanakan namun, zakat juga merupakan slah satu instrument pengentas kemiskinan yang paling ampuh dengan mengembangkan zakat produktif pada kalangan fakir dan miskin. Sudah seharusnya lembaga zakat BASNAZ kabupaten Labuhanbatu Selatan melirik hal tersebut dan melakukan aksi nyata dalam meningkatkan literasi zakat perkebunan kelapa sawit di Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Selatan. U radu se uspoređuje devet parova kajkavskih obrada Ezopovih basni. Preradio ih je Ignac Kristijanović, posljednji borac za kajkavski književni jezik, a objavio u kajkavskom kalendaru Danica zagrebečka (1842– 1848) i u knjizi Ezopove basne pohorvačene (1843).Već je na prvi pogled vidljivo da su basne objavljene u knjizi kraće, a Olga Šojat navela je sadržajne i stilske razlike između basni iz Danice i knjige, dok je Joža Skok naglasio kako kraće basne imaju više kajkavskih elemenata. Prva tvrdnja zahtijevala je sadržajnu i strukturnu analizu, a druga jezičnu usporedbu dviju vrsta basni na svim jezičnim razinama.Analizi strukture i sadržaja pristupilo se sa stajališta teorije recepcije koja je usmjerena na čitatelja knji-ževnog djela. Basne su analizirane metodom usporedbe, a na promatrane su sastavnice primijenjena saznanja teoretičara i povjesničara basne.Teorijski okvir jezične analize korpusa čini povijesna sociolingvistika, koja jezične probleme nastoji uklopiti i promatrati u širem društveno-povijesnome kontekstu. Kombinirajući navedene metode (analiziramo varijantnost na inačicama teksta istoga autora / prevoditelja / prerađivača objavljene u različitim izdanjima i unutar vremenskoga okvira od nekoliko godina), nastojali smo odgovoriti na pitanje koliko se Kristijanovićev jezik u knjižici basni razlikuje od onoga u Danici te potvrditi ili opovrgnuti spomenutu Skokovu tvrdnju kako je u kalendaru Kristijanović štokavizirao svoje tekstove.Raščlamba strukture i sadržaja devet parova basni dovela nas je do zaključka o naglašenu fabuliranju dužih inačica iz Danice. Nju je Kristijanović postigao zamjetnom uporabom dijaloga, mjestimičnom ironijom stvorenom upravo dijaloškim dionicama, podrobnijim opisima i najavama okolnosti radnje te raznim konkretizacijama, tipičnima za narodnu bajku i pripovijetku. Držimo da je cilj takvoga naglaska na gradnji fabule privlačenje nesofisticirane publike, one koju treba animirati i čiju pažnju treba zadržati.Raščlamba provedena na jezičnoj razini pokazala je da jezik Kristijanovićevih basni, i onih objavljenih u samostalnoj knjižici i onih iz Danice, ima obilježja tipična za kajkavski književni jezik 19. st. Usporedbom s jezičnim osobinama drugih Kristijanovićevih djela utvrdili smo da se analizirani tekstovi uklapaju u njegov opus. Istom smo usporedbom ustanovili i da se neke jezične osobitosti (van, dan) jezika basni ne mogu interpretirati kao štokavizacija teksta jer su prisutne na razini čitavoga autorova opusa.Istraživanje je pokazalo da je Kristijanović priređujući basne objavljene u Danici, nerijetko birao književnokajkavske elemente (npr. futur tvoren s pomoćnim glagolom hoteti, na leksičkoj razini izbor riječi lisica) kojima je svoje tekstove činio pristupačnijima i govornicima drugih narječja. Poznajući oštre Kristijanovićeve stavove o ilircima i njihovoj jezičnoj koncepciji, smatramo da unošenje takvih elemenata nikako nije znakom autorova prihvaćanja ilirskih stavova ili književnoga jezika štokavske osnovice, već je eventualno riječ o pokušaju širenja čitateljske publike.The paper compares nine pairs of Kajkavian adaptations of Aesop’s fables. They were reworked by Ignac Kristijanović, the last fighter for the Kajkavian literary language, and published in the Kajkavian calendar Danica zagrebečka (1842–1848) and in the book Ezopove basne pohorvačene (1843).At first glance, it is obvious that the fables published in the book are shorter, and Olga Šojat mentioned the content and stylistic differences between the fables from Danica and the book, while Joža Skok emphasized that shorter fables have more Kajkavian elements. The first statement required an analysis of the content and structure, and the second a linguistic comparison of the two types of fables at all language levels.The analysis of the structure and content was approached from the point of view of the reception theory, which focuses on the reader of the literary work. Fables were analyzed by the method of comparison, and the findings of fable theorists and historians were applied to the observed components.The theoretical framework of language analysis was historical sociolinguistics, which seeks to fit and observe language problems in a broader sociohistorical context. The combination of three sociolinguistic methods, the analysis of variance in the same text, in its versions, and in other texts by the same author, sought to answer the question of how much Kristijanović’s language in the book differs from the language in Danica and to confirm or refute Skok’s claim that Kristijanović made his texts in Danica more Štokavian.The analysis of the structure and content led us to the conclusion that the longer fable versions from Danica are more fabled. Kristijanović achieved this through a noticeable use of dialogue, occasional irony created through dialogue components, more detailed descriptions and announcements of the circumstances of the action, and various concretizations, typical of folk tales and short stories. We believe that the goal of such an emphasis on storytelling was to attract an unsophisticated audience, which needs to be animated.The analysis conducted at the linguistic level showed that the language of both types of fables has features typical of the Kajkavian literary language of the 19th century, the analyzed texts fit into the author’s opus, and some linguistic features (van, dan) of the fable cannot be interpreted as Štokavization because they are present at the level of the entire opus of the author.The research showed that in longer fables Kristijanović often chose elements of the Kajkavian literary language (e.g. the future tense created with an auxiliary verb hotel, on the lexical level by choosing the word lesica), thus making his texts available to speakers of other dialects. Knowing his sharp views on the Illyrian linguistic conception, we believe that such elements in fables do not mean the author’s acceptance of the Illyrian views or the literary language on the Štokavian basis but it is an attempt to expand the readership.

U literaturi se dokazanim smatra da je u hrvatskome proces departicipijalizacije, tj. adverbijalizacije participa u glagolske priloge završen do 17. st., iako neki od novijih radova (npr. Horvat, Štebih Golub 2016.) te tvrdnje dovode u pitanje. Kako sve poznate gramatike kajkavskoga književnog jezika prikazuju participe, u ovome se radu nastoji odgovoriti na pitanje jesu li participi zaista postojali u književnoj kajkavštini iz vremena nastanka slovnica ili ih kajkavski gramatičari kao i neke druge kategorije (član, preterit, konjunktiv) opisuju tek pod utjecajem egzogenih modela gramatičkog opisa, ili pod utjecajem jezične tradicije (jer se particip rabio u ranijim razdobljima književne kajkavštine). Istraživanje je provedeno na dvjema kajkavskim slovnicama, Matijevićevoj Horvackoj gramatici iz 1810. i Kristijanovićevoj Grammatik der kroatischen Mundart iz 1837. i na odabranim tekstovima dvojice gramatičara (Matijevićevu Rastolnačenju evangelijumov (1796.), Rastolnačenjima zvrhu Velikoga katekižmuša III. Susunan Pengurus BAZNAS Kota Palopo terdiridari Dewan Pertimbangan, Komisi Pengawas dan Badan Pelaksana. Dalam hal pengumpulan zakat, hal ini dilakukan oleh UPZ di berbagai instansi, baik instansi pemerintah maupun swasta, setelah itu disetorkan kepada BASNAS Kota Palopo untuk didayagunakan. Di BAZNAS Kota Palopo, pendayagunaan hasil penerimaan zakat telah sesuai dengan ketentuan agama yaitu meliputi delapan ashnaf. Di dalam melakukan pengelolaan zakat, BAZNAS Kota Palopo menemui berbagai macam kendala yang dihadapi. Dengan adanya kendala-kendala di dalam pengelolaan zakat di BAZNAS Kota Palopo tersebut, BAZNAS Kota Palopo meresponnya dengan melakukan upaya-upaya untuk menanggulangi kendala-kendala tersebut.Kata Kunci: Zakat, BAZNAZ, Kota Palopo.

Erazmo Roterdamski smatrao je da obrazovanje djece treba započeti u ranoj dobi. Da bismo što bolje razumjeli Erazmove teorije o odgoju, u članku se analizira Erazmov pojam eruditio, ali i ostali pojmovi kao što su: ratio, usus i philosophia. Ukazuje se na zanimljivu poveznicu koja se može povući između suvremenog pojma kritičkog mišljenja i Erazmova pojma eruditio. Isto tako, za razumijevanje Erazmova poimanja odgoja (ali i povezanosti njegove teorije sa suvremenim teorijama kritičkog mišljenja) analiziran je Erazmov opis karakteristika dobrog učitelja. Navedeni opis dobrog učitelja, u nekim aspektima, povezuje Erazma sa suvremenim teoretičarima (i praktičarima) kao što su John Dewey i Oscar Brenifier. Erazmo za rano uvježbavanje zaključivanja nudi basne, vježbe jezika i poslovice, kao što je slučaj i kod suvremenih teoretičara i praktičara kritičkog mišljenja te filozofije s djecom.

Sumber-sumber pendapatan Negara pada masa pemerintahan Rasulullah Saw., salah satunya adalah zakat dan ushr (zakat atas hasil pertanian dan buah-buahan) yang merupakan dua pendapatan utama dan paling penting. Lembaga zakat seharusnya tidak hanya memberikan dana dan bimbingan dalam menjalankan usaha, namun juga memberikan bimbingan mengenai pembukuan usaha. Bagi Basnaz diharapkan mampu memberikan pembinaan dan pelatihan yang lebih baik lagi kepada para mustahiq, sehingga akan membangun rasa syukur akan nikmat dan bantuan yang diterimanya. Untuk penerima bantuan dana zakat produktif diharapkan untuk terus mengembangkan usahanya dan dapat membantu masyarakat sekitar yang juga tergolong tidak mampu. Di masa yang akan datang zakat diharapkan untuk lebih membantu program pemberdayaan masyarakat yang tidak mampu, yang diadakan oleh lembaga zakat, baik program yang besar maupun program yang kecil. Bagi masyarakat harusnya dapat menyalurkan zakatnya kepada lembaga zakat, karena zakat yang dikelola dengan baik oleh lembaga zakat dapat membantu untuk memberdayakan mustahiq dan dapat menstransformasi masyarakat dari mustahiq menjadi muzakki.

Dari pembahasan yang dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa, Sebelum dilantik menjadi wali Nagari Kasyanti merupakan seorang aktivis yang telah banyak mengikuti berbagai bidang organisasi mukai dari pemandu Radio hingga mnejadi aktivis dari parti politik dan menjadi ketua gabungan kelompok tani. Pada tahun 2020 Kasyanti resmi dilantik menjadi Wali Nagari Koto Laweh secara serentak di Sport Hall GOR Batu Batupang, dan dilantik Sumpah Jabatan para Wali Nagari terpilih untuk periode 2020-2026. Selama menjadi Wali Nagari Kasyanti juga membangun nagari di bidang Ekonomi yaitu melakukan alokasi dana kepada Masyarakat seperti bantuan modal usaha disabilitas, modal usaha basnas, sehingga dengan bantuan ini dapat meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat.

Peraturan Bupati Polewali Mandar Provinsi Sulawesi Barat telah mengeluarkan peraturan Bupati Nomor 9 tahun 2019 tetang tata cara pengumpulan zakat profesi bagi Aparatur Sipil Negara di Kabupaten polewali mandar. Bedasarkan hal tersebut artikel ini membahas sistem pengelolaan dana zakat profesi pada badan amil zakat nasional kabupaten polewali mandar. Penelitian lapangan (Field Research) digunakan untuk melakukan penelitian pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, dokumentasi serta observasi. Kemudian dilakukan reduksi data, penyajian data serta verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan dana zakat profesi oleh BASNAS Kabupaten Polewali Mandar belum optimal di bidang pengumpulan. BAZNAS Kabupaten Polewali Mandar berkoordinasi dengan seluruh UPZ setiap SKPD, camat, serta lurah dalam pengumpulan zakat profesi, meskipun begitu, BAZNAS harus meningkatkan sosialisasi untuk menungkatkan pengumpulan dari profesi lainnya seperti advokat, kontraktor, dan lain-lain. Penditribusian dan pendayagunaan dana zakat profesi di BAZNAS Kabupaten Polewali Mandar telah mengedepankan kepatuhan terhadap segala regulasi yang ditetapkan selama hal itu tidak melanggar hukum syara‟. Jumlah pendistribusian zakat profesi di BAZNAS Kabupaten Polewali Mandar sudah sangat baik, yaitu sekitar 90% dari total pengumpulan setiap tahunnya. Penyaluran zakat direncakan dengan baik dan berkoordinasi dengan pihak yang terkait. Pendayagunaan zakat profesi di Kabupaten Polewali Mandar pada umumnya untuk menanggulangan musibah dan pembinaan sumber daya manusia, serta pengembangan ekonomi.

Background and Purpose: The Integrated Reporting framework as emphasised by The International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) in 2013 (revised 2021), was accepted as one of the mechanisms nationwide to enhance public accountability. However, far fewer studies examined the intersection of the Integrated Reporting (IR) framework and the public sector. Addressing the gap, reviews of the literature were presented synthesising the adoption of the IR framework across public administration. Methodology: By drawing upon SCOPUS, Science Direct and Mendeley databases were employed to generate academic literature beginning in 2011 through 2020. Following the inclusion and exclusion processes, 23 articles were selected and analysed by using ATLAS.ti 8. Findings: The findings of the review were discussed qualitatively and quantitatively. Particular discerning were the qualitative findings; the findings outlined insights into key developments on the IR framework across the following groups, namely, ‘Fundamental Concepts’, ‘Guiding Principles’, and ‘Content Elements’. Key aspects of challenges concerning the adoption of existing frameworks in public administration were discussed. Contributions: Future research might better consider developing a more appropriate IR framework for public administration, a framework that integrates policy and practice. By focusing on the academic literature emphasising the IR framework, academics, regulators, and reporting organisations could formulate appropriate strategies for public administration. This paper describes the functions of the amil zakat, infaq, and alms institutions in the management of zakat in Gowa district. in addition to a discussion of the cultural system related to the implementation of the zakat. This study discusses the processes of zakat distribution, namely the real actions of the parties involved in the process of giving and receiving zakat. In this connection, it can be described as a form of activity carried out by individuals and BASNAZ in the context of distributing zakat to poor Gowa citizens. The results of this study indicate that the zakat practice carried out by Muzakki in Gowa district is not yet optimal. The management of zakat by BASNAZ in Gowa district in terms of collection and distribution, is not too significant because muzakki are still accustomed to handing over directly to mustahik so that the hope of making zakat can have implications for increasing the welfare of mustahik has not been done well.
