Abstract:
The Yoshimoto banana of <Niji> depicts “Nanyo” = Tihiti as a medium for healing and recovery. The space could be this medium because it was a place overflowing with purity and primacy. However, due to this desire for purity and primacy, the possibility of otherness = hybridity = uncanniness is castrated in the space. Therefore, the danger of a kind of modern violence is included in <Niji> which talks about pure and beautiful healing and recovery. In addition, Yoshimoto Banana talks about connection with the world based on the assumption of “family” as the basis for restoring “pure me” and “primary me.” However, by setting the unit of “family,” the possibility of “me=subject” who continues to worry about himself, such as Kenzaburo Oe, is eliminated.</br>Of course, this very point may be the possibility of “new literature,” and the background of the times in which individuals in the 2000s who cannot be the subject are being expressed. However, in reverse, it can also be read as a text that shows the danger that an individual in the impossibility of subjectivity in the 2000s can desire purity and unity and exclude and loathe “others.”

Abstract:
Black gram (Vigna mungo L.) growing areas of district Jhansi coming under Bundelkhand region of Uttar Pradesh were surveyed during Kharif 2018 for the occurrence of anthracnose disease of black gram. A total of 22 villages were visited under six blocks of Jhansi during this period. Blockwise comparison of the survey in Jhansi revealed that less mean disease incidence (10%) and severity (4.0%) occurred in the Chirgaon block. Highest disease incidence (24%) and severity (12%) were observed in block Moth. The block Bangra, Babina, Badagaon, and Bamour secured disease incidence 23.5, 20, 16.44 and 15% and severity 15.14, 12, 7.44 and 8.5% respectively. Nine fungicides (viz. folicur@0.1%, tilt @0.1%, natio@0.0.5%, saaf@0.2%, bavistin@0.2%, dithane Z-78@0.2%, amistar top, kavach@0.2% and blitox@0.2%) were tested against anthracnose disease of black gram under field condition. Among them, seed treatment with carbendazim@ 3gram/kg seed and foliar spray of mixture of azole and strobilurin group T3- natio@0.05 ( tebuconazole + trifloxystrobin) and T7-amistar top@0.1% (azoxystrobin+ difenoconazole) were found significantly (at 0.05%) superior over the rest of treatments, both showed minimum (6%) disease severity with maximum (78.51%) disease control. Significant (at 0.05%) increase in yield (47.5%) also observed in both treatments T3 and T7. The treatment T1- Spray of Folicur@0.1%, T2- Spray of Tilt @0.1%, T4- Spray of Saaf@0.2%, T5- Spray of Bavistin@0.2%, T8- Spray of Kavach@0.2%, T9- Spray of Blitox@0.2% also showed good results in reducing the black gram anthracnose disease severity per cent (64.29, 57.14, 64.28, 57.14, 71.42 and 64.28 and also increased the yield per cent 37.5, 35, 42.5, 36.25, 45 and 45 respectively.

Kemajemukan bangsa Indonesia tidak hanya pada aspek-aspek yang selama ini populer di masyarakat seperti budaya, suku, bahasa, agama ataupun ras. Lebih dari itu, kemajemuk-an nampak pula pada kondisi sosial yang mengalami pelapisan“atas-menengah-bawah”, terdidik-kurang terdidik, bahkan pelabelan berdasarkan latar belakang afiliasi politik seperti “kiri-tengah-kanan”. Fakta-fakta sosial tersebut menyebabkan terjadinya perbedaan perlakuan bagi masing-masing komunitas yang mengalami polarisasi tersebut baik secara struktural, kultural maupun politik.Mengambil setting pada masyarakat eks tahanan politik di Kampung Nanga-Nanga Kota Kendari Propinsi Sulawesi Tenggara, tulisan ini merupakan upaya melukiskan kondisi suatu komunitas yang mengalami ketidakadilan secara sosial akibat pilihan mereka di masa lalu. Fakta lain yang menjadi sorotan adalah rendahnya partisipasi mereka terhadap pendidikan. Sehingga tulisan ini juga merupakan ikhtiar memberikan tawaran solutif atas permasalahan tersebut.Masyarakat eks tahanan politik Kampung Nanga-Nanga Kota Kendari Propinsi Sulawesi Tenggara adalah komunitas yang diasingkan dari hiruk-pikuk penyelenggaraan negara akibat peristiwa 30 September 1965. Meskipun reformasi pada mei 1998 memberi harapan rehabilitasi, tetapi kondisi traumatik yang demikian kuat tidak memberi perubahan berarti dalam kehidupan sosial masyarakat kampung Nanga-Nanga. Proses isolasi masyarakat eks tahanan politik yang telah berlangsung cukup lama di tempat itu menciptakan stigma bahwa kampung Nanga-Nanga dan masyarakatnya merupakan lapisan asing dalam struktur masyarakat di Kota Kendari.Akibat dari pengasingan itu masyarakat kampung Nanga-Nanga menunjukkan beberapa perilaku seperti: pesimisme dalam berbangsa dan bernegara, apriori terhadap lembaga pendidikan, sensitif terhadap agama, dan tertutup dalam pergaulan sosial.Kondisi masyarakat eks tahanan politik di kampung Nanga-Nanga yang mayoritas beragama Islam menghadirkan tawaran tentang perlunya pendekatan agama dalam konteks membangun kesadaran berbangsa dan menumbuhkan semangat untuk bersekolah. Pendekatan strategis tersebut diharapkan menjadi gerakan dakwah kebangsaan dan perbaikan layanan pendidikan. Akibatnya strategi dakwah ini menuntut keterlibatan seluruh elemen masyarakat baik pemerintah, tokoh agama, tokoh masyarakat, pemuda, mahasiswa dan lembaga pendidikan.

Abstract:
Abstract With the development and progress of human society and the continuous enhancement of people's health awareness, lactic acid bacteria inhibitors as a natural biopreservative have an irreplaceable position, with the advantages of high efficiency, broad spectrum, stability, safety and other characteristics. This paper studied the antibacterial effect of 23 lactic acid bacteria; the strains with the best antibacterial effect was identified by 16S rDNA method as being Lactobacillus rhamnosus L57 and was applied to banana storage. Our study showed that Lactobacillus rhamnosus L57 has a broad spectrum, inhibiting Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Vibrio alginolyticus and Bacillus nato. Excluding the interference of organic acids, hydrogen peroxide and extracellular polysaccharide, the salting out of ammonium sulfate preliminarily determined that the proteins or peptides are the antibacterial substances in the antibacterial agent. Physicochemical properties showed that the microorganism had good antibacterial activity after trypsin, pepsin and papain, with good tolerance to pH, temperature and UV light, and the pH optimal range of 2.0-4.0. The mixture of freeze-dried powder of L. rhamnosus L57, chitosan and natamycin was used for banana preservation, with the proportion of freeze-dried powder of 1.25%, chitosan 1.5% and natamycin 0.03%. The preservation period was extended by 4 days compared with the absence of either bacteriostatic agent.

Abstract:
Amerika Serikat (AS) dan Inggris merupakan mitra penting Yordania sejak masa awal negara tersebut berdiri sampai era sekarang. Pembentukan negara Yordania tidak terlepas dari campur tangan Inggris yang pada saat itu menjadi pemenang Perang Dunia I. Di era pasca Perang Dunia II sampai masa Arab Spring 2011, Timur Tengah menjadi kawasan yang selalu bergejolak dan tidak stabil. Namun, Yordania dan Monarki Hashemite-nya menjadi salah satu negara Arab yang selamat dari gejolak tersebut dan tetap bertahan hingga masa sekarang, 2022. Fokus penelitian artikel ini adalah memahami bagaimana peran dua kekuatan Barat tersebut dapat memberikan stabilitas politik dan keamanan bagi Yordania. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui telaah kepustakaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan kerangka analisis berupa Teori Neorealisme dan konsep bandwagoning yang merupakan turunannya.. Hasil penelitian dari artikel ini adalah Yordania menerapkan metode bandwagoning dengan menjalin hubungan politik dan keamanan yang sangat erat dengan dua AS dan Inggris. Hubungan tersebut sampai membuat AS memberikan Yordania status Major non-NATO Ally (MNNA). Yordania juga memilih bandwagoning terhadap Israel yang merupakan sekutu utama AS dan sebelumnya menjadi sumber ancaman bangsa Arab. Hal tersebut berpengaruh pada bertahannya stabilitas politik dan keamanan Yordania dari ancaman internal maupun eksternal sampai era sekarang.

In many issue-areas, the world is witnessing a move to law. As the century turned, governments and individuals faced the following international legal actions. The European Court of Human Rights ruled that Britain's ban on homosexuals in the armed forces violates the right to privacy, contravening Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights. The International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia indicted Yugoslav president Slobodan Milosevic during a NATO bombing campaign to force Yugoslav forces out of Kosovo. Milosevic remains in place in Belgrade, but Austrian police, bearing a secret indictment from the International Criminal Tribunal, arrested a Bosnian Serb general who was attending a conference in Vienna. In economic affairs the World Trade Organization (WTO) Appellate Body found in favor of the United States and against the European Union (EU) regarding European discrimination against certain Latin American banana exporters. A U.S. district court upheld the constitutionality of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) against claims that its dispute-resolution provisions violated U. S. sovereignty. In a notable environmental judgment, the new Law of the Sea Tribunal ordered the Japanese to cease all fishing for southern bluefin tuna for the rest of the year.

Abstract:
The Russia-Ukraine tensions that have occurred this year have caught the world's attention. This tension initially occurred with the deployment of hundreds of thousands of Russian troops on the Ukrainian border and the involvement of NATO, including the United States, which began to take steps, so that the escalation of the conflict was inevitable. This paper uses an institutional liberalism approach and the data are taken using the author's literature review from various related literatures that are relevant to the writing .The actions of NATO which participated in responding to it became a threat to Russia which eventually worsened the conflict on the Ukrainian border. As the largest international organization, the United Nations has a big role in this conflict as a mediating party that can find a way out from both sides. This paper analyzes the role of the United Nations in seeking conclusions on these problems, regarding how its roles, objectives, and functions are to find a conflict resolution. As the international community, every country needs to take part in overcoming the ongoing conflict, and it is a great obligation for the United Nations to be the main tool in resolving this conflict, given the large capabilities it has, and the many countries that can contribute, so that later the Russia-Ukrainian conflict can be resolved quickly.Keywords: Russia-Ukraine, NATO, UN, conflict resolution

Abstract Advanced industrial democracies belong to a plethora of international institutions. Either individually or collectively, they are members of universal organizations (UN agencies), regional blocs (e.g. the European Union (EU), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN)), and issue-specific institutions (e.g. the World Trade Organization (WTO), the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the World Health Organization (WHO)). These international institutions can be nested within each other or overlap with each other, sometimes leading to conflicting commitments for their member states. How do the nesting and overlapping of international institutions complicate the strategies of national decision-makers? Does the nested/overlapping nature of international commitments in itself generate a distinct kind of politics?

Abstract:
This paper aims to analyze the current state of play in the relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and NATO. The first part of the paper deals with the analysis of constitutional and strategic documents, as well as legal regulations related to political, economic, defense, and security aspects in the relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and NATO. The second part of the paper presents a comparative analysis of the results of the research conducted in 2018 and 2019 on “Military neutrality or NATO”. The sample consists of 700 adult citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, residents of the cities of Banja Luka, Mostar and Sarajevo, and the research was conducted by the technique of direct contact with the respondents, while a specially created questionnaire was used as a research instrument. The authors intend to contribute to a better understanding of the activities carried out related to the current cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and NATO, as well as to emphasize the need for full respect for the constitutional and legal solutions concerning the discussion of relevant future strategic commitments of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
