Abstract:
Samples of the mineral ferroan clinozoisite from three localities of Greece (Paranesti-Drama, Xanthi, and Petritsi-Serres), with chemical formula Ca2Al3−xFexSi3O13H (x=0.55, 0.58, and 0.46, respectively), were measured by X-ray powder diffraction, using CoKa radiation. The PDF and bibliographic information were used in order to identify additional phases in the samples. Refinement combined with PDF resulted in the following: ferroan clinozoisite (100%) for the first sample, ferroan clinozoisite (97%) and malladrite (3%) for the second one, and ferroan clinozoisite (75%), clinopyroxene (20%), and malladrite (5%) for the third one. The crystal structure refinement was performed by the “Powder profile analysis (Rietveld)”. P21/m space group was chosen for the ferroan clinozoisite phases, with unit cell constants a=8.8919(5) Å, b=5.6260(3) Å, c=10.1570(6) Å, β=115.418(3)° (Paranesti), a=8.8944(7) Å, b=5.6394(4) Å, c=10.1626(8) Å, β=115.400(5)° (Xanthi) a=8.8965(8) Å, b=5.6372(4) Å, c=10.1595(9) Å, β=115.411(6)° (Petritsi) almost similar for the three samples, while the final R-p factors were 0.069, 0.064, and 0.063, respectively.

Abstract:
The article explores the role of a Brechtian theater pedagogy as “philosophical ethnography” in four investigative drama-based workshops, which took international students’ intercultural “strangeness” experiences as the starting point for aesthetic experimentation. It is argued that a Brechtian theater pedagogy allows for a productive rather than representational orientation in research, which is underpinned by a love for the aesthetic “re-entanglement” of (dis-embodied) language and ethical concerns about mimetic representational acts. To show how a Brechtian research pedagogy functioned as philosophical ethnography, the article maps the aesthetic transformation of participant Jamal’s verbatim account in the drama workshops—from (a) its emergence in a post-creative-writing discussion in Workshop 2, to (b) its enactment as a body sculpture in Workshop 3, and (c) to its translation into a rehearsal piece in Workshop 4.

Abstract:

This article aims to discuss the inheritance of the performing arts of drama gong to the next generation. As a form of qualitative research, data collection was carried out through analysis of four selected drama gong stories, namely (1) Suluh Ikang Praba; (2) Gesing Reed Beads; (3) Nila Warsiki; and (4) Jayaprana produced in 2019 – 2021. Research data were also collected through observation, document studies, and interviews with several informants who understand the performing arts of gong drama in Bali. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively by applying the theory of semiotics and Bourdeau's social practice. The results of the study indicate that the inheritance of drama gongs is very urgent: (a) to preserve drama gongs; (b) regeneration of young Balinese as supporters of the drama gong; (c) drama gongs are part of Balinese cultural identity, and (d) drama gong as a medium for educating Balinese language and culture. The inheritance of the performing arts of drama gong is carried out through a formal strategy, namely through formal education from kindergarten (PAUD) to college in part by the State Hindu University I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa Denpasar, and an informal strategy, namely the role of families and art-culture studios in socializing, enculturating values. cultural values in the art of performing the drama gong to the younger generation of Bali.

S. Kholod; Table 8, syntaxon 5). There are 2 variants in subass. Dicranoweisio crispulae–Cetrarielletum delisei cerastietosum regelii: D. c.–C. d. c. r. typica (Table 5, relevés 1–19, Fig. 11), D. c.–C. d. c. r. inops (Table 5, relevés 20–27, Fig. 12). Vegetation of dry moderately and low snow-covered sites is presented by the 2 syntaxa. Ass. Pseudephebo pubescentis–Bryocauletum divergentis Kholod 2007 subass. saxifragetosum cespitosae subass nov. hoc loco (Table 6, nomenclature type (holotypus hoc loco) — relevé 15, field number 152, Novaya Zemlya archipelago, Severnyy Island, Cape Zhelaniya vicinity, 1.0 km to the south-east of Cape Serebrennikov, rocky ridge on the coastal plain, 76°56ʹ 50″N, 68°25ʹ45ʹʹ E, September 15, 2015, author — S. S. Kholod; Table 8, syntaxon 6; Fig. 13). Community type Papaver polare–Saxifraga oppositifolia (Table 7; Table 8, syntaxon 7, Fig. 14) which combines extremely sparse cover of vascular plants, mosses and lichens. The associations Dicranoweisio crispulae–Cetrarielletum delisei and Pseudephebo pubescentis–Bryocauletum divergentis can be considered as regional, which include subassociations described elsewhere in relation to where the typical syntaxa have been described. The zonal association of the Novaya Zemlya — Saxifrago oppositifoliae–Cerastietum regelii, has a number of common diagnostic species combinations to the ass. Deschampsio borealis–Aulacomnietum turgidi (Table 8, syntaxon 8) of the Severnaya Zemlya (Draba micropetala, Papaverpolare, Phippsiaalgida, Saxifragacernua and others) may be put in Papaverion dahliani Daniёls, Elvebakk et Matveyeva in Daniёls et al., 2016. Similarly, two associations of wet sites from these two archipelagos can be placed in one union: the Deschampsio borealis–Bryetum pseudotriquetri of the Novaya Zemlya and Stellario edwardsii–Bryetum cryophili Matveyeva 2006 (Table 8, syntaxon 10) of the Severnaya Zemlya. These associations bring together several common species: Phippsiaalgida, Bryumcryophilum, Warnstorfiasarmentosa. Probably, associations reflecting the vegetation of nival sites — Dicranoweisio crispulae–Cetrarielletum delisei Matveyeva 2006 with two subassotiations: typicum (Table 8, syntaxon 13) and cerastietosum regelii (together — regional association), Stellario edwardsii–Ditrichetum flexicaulis of Novaya Zemlya and Ranunculo sabinei–Phippsietum algidae Matveyeva 2006 (Table 8, syntaxon 12) of Severnaya Zemlya — can be attributed to one union. These syntaxa bring together a number of common species included in the diagnostic groups: Papaverpolare, Phippsiaalgida, Niphotrichumericoides, Polytrichastrum alpinum s. str., Cetrarielladelisei and others. In all groups of characteristic species, only 3 — are exclusive — Deschampsiaborealis, Calliergongiganteum, Cinclidiumsubrotundum, inherent to ass. Deschampsio borealis–Bryetum pseudotriquetri, and 16 — are selective. Species richness in syntaxa varies from 62 to 126. The highest number of species is recorded in the ass. Campylio stellati–Orthothecietum chrysei, the lowest — in the extremely sparse cover of the com. type Papaver polare–Saxifraga oppositifolia. The number of taxa in communities varies from 4 to 37. The proportion of the species number with high constancy (IV, V) in all syntaxa is extremely small and varies from 6.5 % in com. type Papaver polare–Saxifraga oppositifolia up to 14.3 % in the ass. Stellario edwardsii–Ditrichetum flexicaulis. Only few species have a high coverage. In general, these are mosses: Scorpidiumrevolvens (up to 40 %), S. cossonii, Ditrichumflexicaule, Racomitriumlanuginosum, Niphotrichumericoides, which in some cases form carpets with of 15–20 % cover. The same cover value is inherent for some species of lichens — Brodoaintestiniformis and Melaneliahepatizon. The high cover values among vascular plants are noted only for Deschampsiaborealis (to 65 %). There are 2 main types of plant-cover structure: regular-cyclic and sporadic-spotty. As part of the first variant are separated: connected and broken-reticulated. Many plants have the form of cushion: up to 8–9 cm in a height and to 10–12 cm in a diameter. There is a single layer which has (an average height of 10 cm) in vertical structure.

Abstract:
In the Russian language of the XVIIth and XVIIIth centuries, the significant part of foreign words were German lexical borrowings. According to the degree of development of the language loanwords recipient traditionally distinguish two main groups of words - assimilated and unassimilated. One of the main bits of foreign words, allocated according to the degree of assimilation, are actually borrowing assimilated words about the skill that scientists have no disagreements. The only problem in this sense is to hold the line between borrowing and internationalism. Internationalism represented, first of all, in the terminological lexicon. By the terms-internationalism: a) socio-political lexicon: congress, constitution, minister, meeting, party, politics, revolution, republic, resolution, senate, etc.; b) scientific terminology: biology, geography, geodesy, geology, zoology, history, linguistics, mathematics, physics, etc.; c) the technical name: unit, antenna, apparatus, harvester, monoplane, tank, tractor; d) art criticism lexicon: aria, ballet, drama, genre, novella, opera, poetry, tenor, etc. When classifying loanwords must be considered the formal features (assimilation of words in the borrowing language) and functionality (use of words in the borrowing language). According to the degree of adaptation of lexical units in the system of the Russian language-recipient, both full and partial assimilation of the German-language vocabulary is possible. Partially assimilated vocabulary can be divided into the following groups: 1) German vocabulary assimilated at the graphic and grammatical levels; 2) German- language vocabulary assimilated at the grammatical level; 3) German-language vocabulary assimilated at the word-formation level; 4) German-language blotches with preceding and following Russian equivalents. The research is based on actual data obtained by different linguists, and on the results of the author's own observations.

Abstract:
The title compound, C40H16O4or [C10H4O]4, is a planar tetrameric cyclooligomer which crystallizes in the monoclinic space groupP21/n. The compound is located on an inversion center with the asymmetric unit consisting of half of the molecule. The compound displays an interesting packing structure, where the cyclooligomer displays both layered packing with respect to nearest neighbors and a rotation of adjacent planar rings that results in additional interactions. The geometric parameters of the compound agree well with those of comparable cyclooligomers, while the packing reveals some similarities and differences.

Abstract:
In this work, aiming to improve the wear and/or corrosion performance of self-fluxing alloys coatings, samples SAE 1020 steel were coated by thermal spray process, one of then was coated only with a self-fluxing nickel-based (\'NI\"CR\"B\"SI\"C\') alloy and two others, in which was applied this alloy with additions of boron carbide or silicon carbide. The coatings were characterized by means of optical and electronic micrography, microhardness, corrosion and microwear tests. The coating added with boron carbide showed the highest level of hardness and the better wear performance, followed by the coating with silicon carbide and the pure self-fluxing alloy. The samples added with boron or silicon carbide showed similar corrosion performance, with higher corrosion potential in comparison to that presented by the sample without addition.

Abstract:

Abstract:
The main objective is here to develop a new generation of ceramic materials used for plasma confinement in Hall-effect thrusters using the PDCs (polymer-derived ceramics) route. A state of the art of the different confinement materials and a review of the previous work done on this topic allowed to determine the key parameters of such materials and to move towards the use of preceramic polymers as precursors of the materials envisaged. After having detailed the various protocols used to chemically modify a commercial polymer with boron, to shape the compounds obtained and then to convert the polymers into ceramics bypyrolysis, Si-B-(C)-N dense ceramic pieces have been produced with various boron content. A complete study from the chemical structure of the polymers to the properties of the resulting ceramics allowed selecting the optimal formulation of the polymer as a ceramic precursor. c-BN/Si-B-(C)-N composites were then prepared by filler addition, then shaped and characterized before a scale-up to prepare engine-size ceramic rings. The last part consists of an opening on the use of the PDCs route for the realization of dense Si-Al-(C)-N pieces of controlled composition, with a study of the impact of aluminum on the polymers andceramics properties

Abstract:
The hepatitis B virus (HBV) and hepatitis C virus (HCV) infections in correctional settings have quite high prevalences, reaching rates of up to 40%. Several risk behaviors, adopted before or during the imprisonment, accounts for that. Among them, the use of intravenous illicit drugs, sharing of needles, tattoos and unprotect sexual activity are the most important. This survey aimed to estimate the prevalence of HBV and HCV serological marker and risk factors for these infections in men inmates at the Penitentiary of Ribeirão Preto, State of São Paulo, Brazil, between May and August 2003. Out of 1030 inmates, a simple random sample of 333 participants was chosen. The participants were interviewed in a standardized questionnaire and provided blood for serological tests. An enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was used for diagnosis of HBV and HCV infection (HBsAg, anti-HBs, anti-HBc, anti-HCV). Polymerase chain reaction (HCV RNA) was used to confirm HCV infection. The overall prevalence for HBV and HCV markers in inmates was 19,5% (CI 95%: 15,2 - 23,8) and 8,7% (CI 95%: 5,7 - 11,7), respectively. The variables that displayed p<0,25, through univariate analysis, were assessed by a logistic regression multivariate model. At the level of 5%, HBV infection was associated with age > 30 years and previous injecting drug use. For HCV infection, age > 30 years, previous injecting drug use, previous sharing of needles, tattoos and previous hepatitis.

Abstract:

Abstract:
The peroxisomal 3-ketoacyl-CoA thiolase catalyses the last step of the fatty acids breakdown in the peroxysome. Its expression is controlled at the transcriptional level by the nuclear receptor PPARa and hypolipidemic compounds called peroxisome proliferators. This regulation needs specific peroxisome proliferators responsive element (PPRE) in the promotor of the targeted genes. In rat 2 different genes (rTA et rTB) encode 2 isoforms of the peroxisomal 3-ketoacyl-CoA thiolase and only the rTB gene is inducible. No functional PPRE were found in the promotor of this gene. Peroxisome proliferators activation pathway is the only one never studied. We identified 2 functional PPRE in the sequence of the intron 3 of the rTB gene, which cooperate to mediate the PPARa effect. HNF-4 modulates the effect of PPARa and of peroxisome proliferators through those 2 PPRE. Finally, we established the evidence of a repression of the rTB by sterols

Abstract:
PERBACCO (a free Italian acronym for Life-cycle Performance, Innovation and Design Criteria for Structures and Infrastructures Facing Æolian and Other Natural Hazards) is a research project partly funded by the Italian Ministry for University (MIUR) in the PRIN (Progetti di Ricerca di Interesse Nazionale) framework, for the years 2004-05.Within the project, a first attempt has been made to integrate different disciplines aiming at an overall optimization of the performance of a wide range of wind exposed structures and infrastructures, with consequent benefi cial impact on the society. The overall objectives were (a) to provide unifi ed concepts for "expected performance" and "risks induced by æolian and other natural hazards", to be applied to structures and infrastructures over their whole life-cycle, such to be acceptable to stakeholders in the construction process (i.e. from the owner to the end-user), (b) to provide models and methodologies for dynamic monitoring of the performance of structures and infrastructures, to be integrated in appropriately designed procedures, and (c) to collect, refi ne, fi le and disseminate the knowledge available on a European basis, concerning the performance of wind-exposed structures and facilities, in a way such to be of use to Construction Industry. This volume summarises the main results obtained during the Project, with each Section addressing a different class of problems, to which many research Units have contributed. A list of papers containing the main results of the research activities carried out within the Project is also provided in each Section.

Abstract:
Step 4, the bulk of the Guide, comprises three parts: Part A, “Describe the Event and Its Genre(s) as a Whole”; Part B, “Explore the Event’s Genre(s) through Artistic Domain Categories”; and Part C, “Relate the Event’s Genre(s) to Its Broader Cultural Context.” Part A teaches readers how to collect information about an event and its genres. It advises readers to explore an event by looking through seven “lenses”: space, materials, participant organization, shape of an event through time, performance features, content, and underlying symbolic systems. Part B applies the seven lenses to exposing which—if any—elements of the following five artistic domain categories occur in the event: music, dance, drama, oral verbal arts, and visual arts. These arts are addressed in turn, so that readers can jump to the sections that relate most closely to their work. Part C helps readers to connect artistry in an event with broader cultural contexts. Numerous research questions, suggested activities, and practical examples are provided throughout Step 4.
