Parents’ experience in caring for children with autism is an amazingly hard and uneasybecause parents’ roles are very important in behavioural development of children with autism.Purposes: this research is to get the overview of parents’ experience in caring children withautism in the age of 15–17 at T. C. Clinic. Methods: This research used qualitative method withphenomenology approach. Data sources are collected by in-depth interview and being analysedwith Colaizzi and soft ware N-Vivo. Sampling method in this research is purposive samplingwith 6 interviewees. Results: This research found 8 themes; parents’ knowledge of autism,mom’s feeling, mom’s way to care children with autism, obstacles in caring, readiness to acceptchildren with autism, facing the puberty, autism education and expectation in caring forchildren with autism. Conclusion: Parents believe in different parenting to be implemented tochildren with autism. Parents should understand and adapt the parenting with thedevelopmental needs of children with autism so children will not have prolonged problems intheir behaviour.
Pengalaman orangtua dalam merawat anak autis sangatlah berat dan tidak mudah karena peranorang tua sangat penting dalam perkembangan tingkah laku anak dengan autisme. Tujuanpenelitian ini untuk mendapatkan pengalaman orangtua dalam merawat anak autis usia 15-17tahun di T.C. Klinik. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatanfenomenologi. Sumber data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara mendalam dan dianalisamenggunakan Colaizzi dan software N-Vivo. Metode sampling dalam penelitian ini adalahpurposing sampling dengan 6 narasumber. Hasil: penelitian ini menemukan 8 tema;pengetahuan orangtua tentang autisme, perasaan ibu, cara ibu merawat anak autis, halangandalam merawat, kesiapan untuk menerima anak autis, menghadapi pubertas, pendidikan autismedan ekspetasi dalam merawat anak autis. Kesimpulan: Orangtua percaya dengan pengasuhanyang berbeda-beda untuk diterapkan kepada anak autis. Orangtua harus memahami danmengadaptasi cara pengasuhan dengan perkembangan kebutuhan anak autis sehingga anak-anaktidak akan memiliki masalah dalam tingkah lakunya.

Background: Cognitive, communication, social interaction, behavior patterns, and activity limitations in autistic children become a source of stress for parents. Parents' negative assessment of autistic children leads to maladaptive coping and results in inappropriate parenting behavior. Objective: This study focuses on evaluating parents' knowledge of autistic disorders and their relationship to coping in caring for children with autism. Method: Cross-sectional study is the design of this study. Involving 22 respondents, namely parents of children with autism whose children attend education at Special Schools (SLB) in Malang City. The data collection instrument was developed based on the Knowledge about Childhood Autism Among Health Workers (KCAHW) questionnaire to obtain data on family knowledge variables. Family coping variables using McCubbin's F-COPES questionnaire. Both questionnaires are tools that have been tested for reliability. Analystsare statisticians using the Spearman Rank test with a significance of 5%. Results: 64% of Parisipans had high knowledge of autism and 14% of parents had maladaptive coping. The results of statistical tests found that the level of knowledge about autism was related to family coping mechanisms in children with autisme disorder (p-value 0.003; r 0.599). Conclusion: Adaptive coping of families with autistic disorder children increases with good parental knowledge. Therefore, health education about autism and its care is always informed to the public to prevent maladaptive coping in the care of children with autism disorders in the family.
Latar belakang: Keterbatasan kognitif, komunikasi, interaksi sosial, pola perilaku, dan aktivitas pada anak autis menjadi sumber stres bagi orang tua. Penilaian negatif orang tua terhadap anak autis menyebabkan koping maladaptif dan berdampak pada perilaku pengasuhan yang tidak tepat. Tujuan: Penelitian ini berfokus pada evaluasi pengetahuan orang tua tentang gangguan autis dan hubungannya dengan koping dalam merawat anak autisme. Metode: Studi cross sectional merupakan rancangan penelitian ini. Melibatkan 22 responden, yaitu orang tua dari anak dengan Autis yang anaknya mengikuti Pendidikan di Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) di Kota Malang. Instrument pengumpulan data dikembangkan berdasarkan kuesioner Knowledge about Childhood Autism Among Health Workers (KCAHW) untuk memperoleh data variabel pengetahuan keluarga. Variabel koping keluarga menggunakan kuisioner F-COPES McCubbin. Kedua kuesioner tersebut merupakan alat yang sudah diuji reabilitasnya. Analisis statistik menggunakan Rank Spearman test dengan signifikansi 5%. Hasil: Partisipan sebanyak 64% memiliki pengetahuan yang tinggi tentang gangguan autism dan masih terdapat orang tua yang memiliki koping maladaptif 14%,. Hasil uji statistik menemukan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan tentang autisme berhubungan dengan mekanisme koping keluarga pada anak dengan gangguan autisme (p-value 0,003; r 0,599). Simpulan: Koping adaptif keluarga yang memiliki anak gangguan autis meningkat dengan pengetahuan orang tua yang baik. Edukasi tentang autisme dan perawatannya perlu selalu diinformasikan kepada masyarakat untuk mencegah koping maladaptif dalam perawatan anak dengan gangguan autisme di keluarga.

Autisme merupakan gangguan yang dialami sejak lahir ataupun saat balita. Gangguan ini merupakan kelainan perkembangan sistem saraf pada seseorang. Penderita autisme umumnya mengalami kesulitan dengan fungsi sosial, motorik, sensorik, dan kognitif. Salah satu penanganan autisme yaitu dengan melakukan terapi. Metode terapi autis yang paling sering digunakan sampai saat ini yaitu metode Applied Behavior Analisyst (ABA). Saat ini penerapan konsep permainan atau gamification merupakan salah satu cara untuk membuat penderita autism antusias untuk melakukan terapi, oleh karena itu penelitian ini akan membahas perancangan aplikasi game terapi autis pada empat bidang yang menjadi masalah bagi penderita autism yaitu bidang sosial, motorik, sensorik, dan kognitif. Rancangan aplikasi game terapi ini akan diterapkan pada sistem terapi autis yang menerapkan metode ABA yaitu sistem Ahada (ahada.info). Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam proses perancangan game terapi pada penelitian ini adalah model Game Design Document menurut Adams Ernest. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan yang menyatakan bahwa implementasi konsep game pada sistem terapi autis Ahada dapat diterapkan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Game Design Document. Pendekatan ini dinyatakan sebagai pendekatan yang baik untuk digunakan dalam proses perancangan game. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menyatakan bahwa penerapan konsep Natural User Interface (NUI) dapat diintegrasikan dengan sistem Ahada untuk memenuhi kebutuhan terapi motorik.Autism is disorder experienced since the time of birth or infancy. This disorder is developmental disorder of the nervous system in person. People with autism generally have difficulty with social, motor, sensory, and cognitive. One of autism treatment is therapy. Autism treatment methods are most commonly used to date are Applied Behavior Analisyst method (ABA). Now, game concept application is one way to create enthusiasm for autism therapy, therefore this research will discuss about design of autism therapy game on four areas that become problem for people with autism are social, motor, sensory, and cognitive. The design of the therapy game application will be applied to autism therapy system that implements the method ABA, that is Ahada system. The approach used in the game design process of therapy in this study is Game Design Document by Ernest Adams. This study resulted conclusion that the concept of gaming on Ahada autism therapy system can be implemented by using Game Design Document. This approach is expressed as good approach to use in game design process. In addition, this study also stated that the application of the Natural User Interface concept can be integrated with the system to meet the needs motor therapy.

Latar Belakang: Salah satu jenis anak berkebutuhan khusus yang banyak dijumpai adalah autis. Jumlah anak autis di Yogyakarta semakin meningkat, pada tahun 2008 dari 98.000 kelahiran terdapat 196 anak yang menyandang autis, kemudian tahun 2009 dari 100.000 kelahiran terdapat 200 anak yang menyandang autis dan pada tahun 2010 tercatat dari dari 202.500 kelahiran terdapat 205 anak yang menyandang autis. Salah satu gangguan yang terdapat pada anak autis yaitu keterbatasan interaksi sosial. Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh story telling dengan media gambar terhadap kemampuan interaksi sosial pada anak autis di Sekolah Dasar Khusus Autisme Bina Anggita. Metode Penelitian: Menggunakan metode Pre Experimental Design dengan rancangan one group pre-test post-test design. Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 43 anak. Sampel berjumlah 15 anak diambil dengan teknik Purposive Sampling. Analisis data menggunakan Wilcoxon. Hasil: Analisa data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon pada tingkat kemaknaan 95% (α 0,05) diperoleh nilai hitung (p value=0,000). Kesimpulan: Ada pengaruh story telling dengan media gambar terhadap kemampuan interaksi sosial anak autis di Sekolah Dasar Khusus Autisme Bina Anggita. Saran: Penelitian selanjutnya supaya menambahkan jumlah sampel supaya bisa digeneralisasikan dan menambah observasi perubahan tingkah laku anak.

Background: One type of child with special needs has is autism. The number of autistic children in Yogyakarta increased. In 2008 from 98,000 births there were 196 children with autism, then in 2009 out of 100,000 births there were 200 children with autism and in 2010 recorded from 202,500 births there were 205 children with autism. One of the disorders that exist in children with autism is the limitation of social interaction. Objective: To identify the effect of story telling with picture on autistic child social interaction ability in Autism Special School Bina Anggita. Methods: It was a pre experimental design with one group pre-test post-test design. The population in this study amounted to 43 children. The sample was 15 children taken with purposive sampling technique. Analysis used Wilcoxon. Result: Analysis used Wilcoxon test at significance level 95% (α, 0,05) shows value count (p value = 0,000). Conclusion: There is an effect of story telling with picture on autistic child social interaction ability in Autism Special School Bina Anggita. Suggestion: Further researchers are suggested to add the number of sample to be generalized and add observation changes in children's behavior.

ABSTRAK Jumlah penyandang autis di dunia sekitar 35 juta orang, kisaran 60.000 – 150.000 autis terjadi pada anak usia dibawah 15 tahun yang ditandai dengan adanya gangguan dan keterlambatan dalam bidang kognitif, bahasa, perilaku, komunikasi dan interaksi sosial. Terapi yang diberikan untuk peningkatan kemampuan sosial pada anak autis dilakukan terapi Social Skill Training (SST). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui Pengaruh SST dengan dan tanpa diet CFGF terhadap Kemampuan Sosialisasi Anak Autisme (6 -12 Tahun) di SLB Autis YPPA Padang Tahun 2018. Desain penelitian quasi experimental one - group pre - post test. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh anak autis yang berusia 6-12 Tahun dan sampel diambil dengan convenience sampling yang berjumlah 20 orang dengan dan tanpa diet CFGF. Teknik pengolahan data univariat distribusi frekuensi dan central tedensy dan data bivariat dengan Paired T - test. Hasil penelitian terdapat pengaruh SST dengan dan tanpa Diet CFGF terhadap kemampuan sosialisasi anak autis sebelum dan sesudah diberikan terapi. Saran yang dapat disampaikan pada penelitian ini keperawatan agar dapat mendeteksi secara dini tanda gejala yang dialami oleh anak autis sehingga tidak terjadi tanda gejala berat dan melatih kemampuan sosialisasi anak autis dengan terapi SST. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kondisi awal kemampuan interaksi sosial anak autis, proses pelaksanaan dan hasil dari bimbingan dengan metode terapi Applied Behavior Analysis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: kondisi awal kemampuan interaksi sosial anak autis masih belum memiliki kontak mata yang fokus dan bahasa verbal yang bagus. Proses pelaksanaan bimbingan kepada anak autis usia SDLB dilakukan oleh terapis; Bimbingan kepada anak autis usia kelas vokasional oleh konselor;Bbimbingan oleh semua pegawai SLB Autisma Bunda Bening Selakshahati selama 24 jam penuh. Hasil bimbingan menunjukkan bahwa anak autis mampu memiliki kontak mata yang fokus dan bahasa verbal yang bagus.
This study aims to describe the initial conditions of social interaction skills of children with autism, the implementation process, and the results of guidance using the Applied Behavior Analysis method. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that: the initial condition of the social interaction ability of children with autism still did not have focused eye contact and acceptable verbal language. Therapists carry out implementing guidance for children with autism at SDLB age; Guidance for children with autism in a vocational class by counselors; Guidance by all employees of SLB Autism Bunda Bening Selakshahati for 24 hours straight. The guidance results show that children with autism can have focused on eye contact and acceptable verbal language.

The purpose of this study was to explore the process of fathers’ acceptance to their children with autism. This study used a qualitative approach. Three participants who are fathers of children with autism were involved in this study. Data were collected using semi-structured interviews and analyzed using thematic analysis. This study reveals three themes, namely participants’ responses on their autistic children; the psychological experiences of having children with autism; and making efforts to accept their autistic children. In general, the result of this study shows that the participants have different experiences in raising their autistic children. This study also found various forms and aspects of acceptance that are experienced by participantsAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana proses penerimaan seorang ayah terhadap anaknya yang menyandang autisme. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Karateristik partisipan penelitian meliputi ayah yang memiliki anak dengan diagnosis autisme. Jumlah partisipan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 3 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara semi terstruktur, dan analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis tematik. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan 3 (tiga) tema yaitu tanggapan terhadap autism anaknya; pengalaman psikologis memiliki anak autis; dan upaya yang dilakukan untuk mencapai penerimaan terhadap anaknya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa secara umum ketiga partisipan memiliki pengalaman berbeda dalam merawat anak mereka yang didiagnosis autisme. Penelitian ini juga menemukan beberapa bentuk penerimaan yang dialami partisipan serta aspek-aspek penerimaan partisipan terhadap anaknya yang autis..

Bahan penyerta adalah bahan yang dirancang sebagai pendukung pemanfaatan program televisi/ video tutorial yang berguna untuk membantu kegiatan parenting autis dengan metode Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) tingkat menengah (intermediate). Dengan dukungan bahan penyerta ini, diharapkan akan meningkatkan efektivitas pemanfaatan program televisi/video tutorial parenting autis. Pengembangan bahan penyerta ini dinilai penting karena bertujuan untuk membantu kegiatan parenting autis di mana anak autis juga memiliki hak untuk mengenyam pendididikan sebagai bagian dari perkembangan diri mereka. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan, yaitu mengembangkan bahan penyerta program televisi/video tutorial parenting autis berdasarkan model Dick dan Carey. Bahan penyerta secara umum dinilai bermanfaat untuk membantu orangtua, terapis, atau guru bagi anak autis, mengingat kekhususan anak autis, bukan pada faktor akademiknya melainkan pada faktor komunikasi dan sosial anak. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba, ahli materi, ahli media, dan sasaran (guru, terapis, orangtua anak autis) menyatakan secara umum bahan bahwa bahan penyerta program televisi/video tutorial parenting autisme dengan metode ABA tingkat menengah (intermediate) yang sedang dikembangkan layak disebarluaskan.Suplement material was designed to support the use of television programs/video tutorial. Development of video tutorial supporting learning materials is aim to help autistic parenting activities with intermediate levels of ABA method. Parenting autism is important because children with autism also have the right to acquire education as part of their own development. This type of research is the development research. Autism parenting video tutorial supporting learning materials is developed by Dick and Carey model, and useful to help parents, therapists, or teachers. Because, children with autism given the specificity not on academic factors, but communication and social development. Based on the test results of expert content, media experts, and target consist of teachers, therapists, and parents of children with autism in general expressed that video tutorial supporting learning materials of parenting autism with ABA methods level intermediate is feasible to distribute.

Abstract. Individuals with autism often face difficulties in social interactions and socio-emotional development, which can be influenced by societal stigma surrounding this condition. Stigma may arise from misconceptions and myths about autism. This research aims to investigate public perceptions, triggering factors of stigma, and their impact on the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Indonesia. The primary data sources are scientific journals, articles, and academic materials discussing stigma towards autistic children in Indonesia. Thematic analysis was employed to identify common patterns related to public perceptions, triggering factors of stigma, and the impact of stigma on autistic children. The research findings indicate that stigma towards autism is not only public but also internal (self-stigma) and involves close associates (affiliation stigma). Stigma's impacts include difficulties in seeking assistance, hindrances in recovery, discrimination, limited opportunities, inhumane treatment, social isolation, and mental health issues. Factors such as gender, age, culture, prior experiences, and knowledge about autism influence the occurrence of stigma. Accurate understanding of autism is crucial in addressing stigma in this study. Efforts are needed to raise public awareness, dispel prevalent myths, and provide better support for individuals with autism and their families. With these measures, it is hoped that the negative impact of stigma on the lives of children with ASD in Indonesia can be reduced.
Abstrak. Individu dengan autisme sering mengalami kesulitan dalam interaksi sosial dan perkembangan sosio-emosional, yang dapat dipengaruhi oleh stigma masyarakat terhadap kondisi ini. Stigma dapat berasal dari persepsi yang keliru dan mitos seputar autisme. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki persepsi masyarakat, faktor-faktor pemicu stigma, dan dampaknya terhadap kehidupan anak-anak dengan Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) di Indonesia. Sumber data utama berasal dari jurnal ilmiah, artikel, dan sumber-sumber akademis yang membahas stigma terhadap anak-anak autis di Indonesia. Data dianalisis secara tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola umum terkait persepsi masyarakat, faktor-faktor pemicu stigma, dan dampak stigma pada anak-anak autis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa stigma terhadap autisme tidak hanya bersifat publik, tetapi juga internal (self-stigma) dan melibatkan orang-orang terdekat (stigma afiliasi). Dampak stigma mencakup kesulitan mencari bantuan, hambatan dalam pemulihan, diskriminasi, kurangnya peluang, perlakuan kurang manusiawi, isolasi sosial, dan masalah kesehatan mental. Faktor-faktor seperti jenis kelamin, usia, budaya, pengalaman sebelumnya, dan pengetahuan tentang autisme memengaruhi terjadinya stigma. Dalam penelitian ini pemahaman yang akurat mengenai autisme untuk mengatasi stigma. Upaya perlu dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat, mengoreksi mitos yang berkembang, dan memberikan dukungan yang lebih baik kepada individu dengan autisme dan keluarganya. Dengan langkah-langkah ini, diharapkan dapat mengurangi dampak negatif stigma terhadap kehidupan anak-anak dengan ASD di Indonesia.

Hasil wawancara dengan Ketua Pelaksana Harian PLA Kota Denpasar Bapak I Nyoman Handika S.Si Berdasarkan wawancara terdapat beberapa masalah yang dihadapi oleh Mitra yakni Pusat layanan Autis sering kali kesulitan dalam memberikan pelajaran matematika untuk anak dengan autism pada kelas transisi , dan untuk penjadwalan terapis dan proses pendataan anak masih dilakukan secara manual dengan mengisi form dan menyimpan arsip form tersebut. Solusi yang kami tawarkan dari permasalahan diatas adalah membuatkan sebuah sistem untuk pendataan dan penjadwalan terapis pada Pusat Layanan Autis Kota Denpasar dan Memberikan Pelatihan mengenai Pembuatan Media Pembelajaran Matematika agar menarik untuk mengajarkan Matematika kepada anak dengan autism. Terutama untuk fasilitas kesehatan seperti rumah sakit dan juga pusat layanan autis memiliki perhatian khusus untuk penggunanya. Autisme sendiri menjadi perhatian walaupun tidak bisa disembuhkan, autisme dapat dilatih agar mereka dapat beradaptasi pada lingkungan sekitarnya. Perhatian khusus dapat didukung dari bentuk, sirkulasi, dan warna bagi anak autis. Unsur tersebut akan membantu mereka selama proses terapi dan juga bermain mengenal lingkungannya. Maka dari itu, bangunan yang dirancang harus dapat beradaptasi dengen perilaku – perilaku anak autis. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah Analisa deskriptif yang dapat memaparkan, menguraikan, dan menjelaskan mengenai prinsip-prinsip pendekatan behavior setting dari arsitektur perilaku. Bertujuan untuk menjadi landasan ilmu bagaimana sebuah autis center dapat dikatakan adaptif dengan para pasien autis karena sifatnya sebagai pusat terapi harus mendukung setiap elemen yang dapat terciptanya sebuah efektivitas dalam terapi. The research method used is descriptive analysis which can describe, describe, and explain the principles of the behavior setting approach of behavioral architecture. Aims to be the basis of knowledge on how an autistic center can be said to be adaptive to autistic patients because of its nature as a therapy center that must support every element that can create an effectiveness in therapy. Abstract: Autism is a behavioral deviation syndrome in children that involves sensory systems, communication skills, and socialization skills in community. Parental obedience in applying the diet should be consistent in order to reduce symptoms are undergone by children with autism. This study aims to determine the relationship between parental nutrition knowledge and parental income to parent’s obedience of complience in the application of autism diet in children with autism in the SLB Autis Laboratorium Malang State University. The type of this research is quantitative research with cross sectional study design. Parental knowledge was measured from a knowledge questionnaire, and income was measured by the per-capita income category per month and parental compliance was measured from Food Frequency Questionare (FFQ). The results showed that there was a significant correlation between parent’s nutritional knowledge and parent’s obedience to the application of the autism diet at SLB Autis Laboratorium Malang State University (p = 0,004) and there was a significant correlation between parent’s income with parent’s obedience to the application of the autism diet at SLB Autis Laboratorium Malang State University (p = 0,020). Information concerning language and communication skills, and a history of the language interventions that a child has received is important information for planning further interventions as the child enters his/ her teenage years. Unfortunately, research on communication and language problems for teenagers with autism receive little attention. This study intends to fill that gap. Based on interviews with two teenagers with autism in Yogyakarta this research seeks to understand theproblems and challenges faced by teenagers with autism. The research also examines the efforts of parents and/or teachers in developing language and communication skills.Data collection was conducted from September-December 2014. The primary participants of this research were a 19 year old girl and 16 year old boy with autism; both were attending a specialautism school in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The research also involve the participants’ significant others, namely the parents and the teachers. The resultsshowed that: 1) the communication skills of the two participants is far below that of their age cohort and; 2) interventions received by the participants significantly improved their communication and language skills, yet did not totally diminish their communications problems.[Kemampuan berkomunikasi merupakan salah satu aspek yang perlu diperhatikan dalam perkembangan penyandang autisme remaja. Informasi mengenai perkembangan kemampuan bahasa dan komunikasi pada penyandang autisme, serta riwayat intervensi komunikasi yang pernah diterima merupakan informasi yang penting sebelum menentukan dan melaksanakan intervensi lanjutan bagi para remaja autis. Penelitian mengenai hambatan komunikasi dan metode pembelajaran komunikasi pada penyandang autisme remaja belum banyak dilakukan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran kasus hambatan komunikasi pada penyandang autisme remaja. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga akan melihat usaha-usaha yang telah dilakukan oleh orangtua maupun sekolah dalam meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi pada remaja autis. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus.Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisa dokumen. Proses pengambilan data dilakukan pada bulan September-Desember 2014. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dua orang penyandang autisme remaja. Subjek pertama berusia 19 tahun dan berjenis kelamin perempuan. Subjek kedua berusia 16 tahun dan berjenis kelamin laki-laki. Keduanya merupakan siswa dari sebuah sekolah lanjutan autis di Yogyakarta. O transtorno de espectro autista (TEA) é um distúrbio que afeta o neurodesenvolvimento da criança e faz com que sua capacidade de interação social, intelectual e seu comportamento sejam menos desenvolvidos. O objetivo desse estudo foi evidenciar como as desordens epigenéticas podem contribuir para o surgimento de crianças autistas, demonstrando como é essencial que se faça pesquisas científicas e busque compreender as características epigenéticas que levam ao desenvolvimento do TEA. O estudo busca realizar uma revisão integrativa de literatura e tem como descritores: “transtorno do espectro autista e as desordens epigenéticas”, “autismo”, “desordens epigenéticas”, “autism spectrum disorder and epigenetic disorders”, “autism”, “autism spectrum disorder”, “disorders epigenetics”, a base de dados consultados foram a Pubmed, Scientific Eletronic Library Online (Scielo) e Google acadêmico. Os estudos apontam que o TEA é caracterizado como um transtorno de herança multifatorial e que fatores ambientais, independentes ou em conjunto com os fatores epigenéticos, aumentam o risco desse agravo. Concluímos que as alterações epigenéticas estão associadas ao autismo, assim como as consequências comportamentais e histológicas deste distúrbio.

Autisme dapat dialami oleh anak dari berbagai ras, suku, strata sosial, dan ekonomi. Autisme merupakan gangguan perkembangan pervasif pada anak yang ditandai dengan adanya gangguan dan keterlambatan dalam bidang komunikasi, kognitif, perilaku, bahasa, dan interaksi sosial. Orang tua terkadang menganggap gangguan-gangguan tersebut sebagai keterlambatan perkembangan biasa namun pada kenyataanya jumlah penyandang spektrum autisme semakin meningkat. Menurut data dari badan kesehatan dunia (WHO) pada tahun 2009, prevalensi autis di Indonesia mengalami peningkatan luar biasa, dari 1 per 1000 penduduk menjadi 8 per 1000 penduduk. Pada tahun 2009 dilaporkan bahwa jumlah anak penderita autisme mencapai 150-200 ribu. Salah satu cara agar orang tua dapat mengetahui anaknya adalah penderita autism dengan menggunakan fasilitas pendeteksi. penelitian ini dalam mendiagnosis autism pada anak menggunakan metode K-Nearest Neighbor dengan menetukan parameter setting untuk nilai k. Di lakukan pengujian dengan black box testing dan confusion matrix, di dapat nilai akurasi tertinggi sebesar 95%, presisi 95.45%, recall 95.45%, f-measure 95.44%, pada nilai k=4.

OBJETIVO: Comparar as respostas dos instrumentos Childhood Autism Rating Scale e Autism Behavior Checklist na identificação e caracterização de indivíduos com Distúrbios do Espectro Autístico. MÉTODOS: Participaram 28 indivíduos que estavam em atendimento fonoaudiológico e possuíam diagnósticos inseridos no Espectro do Autismo. Todos foram avaliados por meio dos instrumentos Autism Behavior Checklist e Childhood Autism Rating Scale a partir de informações obtidas, respectivamente, com pais e terapeutas. Os dados foram analisados estatisticamente em relação à concordância das respostas obtidas. Foram considerados concordantes os resultados de alta ou moderada probabilidade para autismo no Autism Behavior Checklist e com autismo leve-moderado ou grave na Childhood Autism Rating Scale, e respostas de baixa probabilidade no Autism Behavior Checklist e sem autismo na Childhood Autism Rating Scale. RESULTADOS: Houve concordância na maior parte das respostas obtidas. Casos em que houve discordância entre os resultados obtidos a partir dos protocolos corroboram dados da literatura, evidenciando que os instrumentos podem não ser suficientes, quando aplicados isoladamente para a definição do diagnóstico. CONCLUSÃO: Enquanto a Childhood Autism Rating Scale pode não diagnosticar crianças efetivamente autistas, o Autism Behavior Checklist pode incluir como autistas, crianças com outros distúrbios. Portanto, recomenda-se o uso complementar dos dois instrumentos.

Therefore, understanding autism is not only the task of health professionals or educators, but also the responsibility of the general public. An educational museum was created to depict the characteristics of autism through supporting installations, providing in-depth insight into the experiences of children with autism. Pemahaman menyeluruh mengurangi stigma dan diskriminasi, memungkinkan masyarakat lebih empatik dan memberikan dukungan lebih baik. Pengetahuan tentang autisme juga mendukung bantuan dini dan pemahaman masyarakat melalui intervensi arsitektural. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi faktor metode terapi, pentingnya pemahaman autisme melalui arsitektur, dan integrasi arsitektur autisme dalam desain edukasi. Pemahaman tentang autisme memperkuat dukungan masyarakat, meningkatkan sumber daya dan layanan, mendorong program pendidikan dan perawatan yang lebih baik, serta mempromosikan inklusivitas dan masyarakat yang ramah. Oleh karena itu, memahami autisme bukan hanya tugas profesional kesehatan atau pendidik, tetapi juga tanggung jawab masyarakat umum. Sebuah museum edukasi didirikan untuk menggambarkan karakteristik autisme melalui instalasi-instalasi pendukung, memberikan wawasan mendalam tentang pengalaman anak-anak dengan autisme.

<p><strong>Introdução: </strong>o Transtorno do Espectro Autista (TEA) é um distúrbio complexo do desenvolvimento sendo alvo de estudos desde 1943, quando o primeiro caso foi descrito. <strong>Objetivo:</strong> O presente trabalho objetivou revisar as informações mais relevantes das últimas décadas a respeito do Transtorno do Espectro Autista, construindo bases científicas para o <em>Autism Plus</em> de Gilberg. <strong>Metodologia:</strong> foi realizada revisão da literatura nas bases de dados CAPES/MEC e via PUBMED nos idiomas português e inglês de janeiro de 1978 a janeiro de 2017. <strong>Resultados: </strong>após a aplicação dos critérios de seleção e exclusão, 46 artigos foram elegíveis para a análise com foco em áreas como: Histórico do autismo; Evolução do Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Desorders (DSM); Autismo idiopático e secundário; Aspectos epidemiológicos; Distribuição de TEA por sexo; Bases neurobiológicas; Bases genéticas; Autism Plus. Tanto os critérios de autismo quanto a sua classificação sofreram mudanças ao longo das décadas, bem como o número de genes sabidamente associados e candidatos a condição. Foram descobertos fatores ambientais determinantes, como uso de abortivos durante a gestação, e foi possível estabelecer a prevalência desproporcional de ocorrência de TEA no sexo, além de diversas condições psiquiátricas e genéticas em comorbidade. <strong>Conclusão: </strong>o TEA é uma condição complexa, com fenótipo amplo, e vasta condições passíveis de serem encontradas em comorbidade, quadro denominado Autism Plus. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of parents applying compliance gluten and casein-free diet (GFCF) by the behavior of children with autism in Bukittinggi SLB AlIkhlas 2015 years.Design of this study was cross-sectional, this research has been carried out in July 2015. The number of samples in this study as many as 47 parents of children with autism who are undergoing training in Autism Special SLB Al-Ikhlas London in 2015. Tools used to collect data in the form of questionnaires. This study uses a Chi-Square test of univariate data analysis of data obtained more than half of the 57,4% perents dutifully implement the gluten and casein free diet (GFCF) , Less than half of the 44,7% of respondents have good behavior and bivariate data analysis p= 0,034 smaller than 0,05 there is a relationship of parents applying a gluten and casein free diet (GFCF) by the behavior of children with autism. Suggestion in this research is need to develop research about influence of gluten-free diet and casein (GFCF) on autism child development as one of intervention given by health worker for deeper study and number of samples more so that accuracy of result of research more guaranteed.</em></p><p><strong>BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRAK </strong>Salah satu faktor penyebab autis yaitu faktor lingkungan yang terkontaminasi oleh zat-zat beracun, pangan, gizi, dan akibat raksenasi.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan kepatuhan orang tua menerapkan diet bebas gluten dan kasein (DBGK) dengan perilaku anak autis di SLB Al-Ikhlas Bukittinggi tahun 2015. Desain dalam penelitian ini adalah cross sectional, penelitian ini telah dilakukan pada bulan Juli 2015. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 47 orang tua dari anak autisme yang sedang menjalani pendidikan di SLB Khusus Autis Al-Ikhlas Bukittinggi pada tahun 2015. Alat yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji statistik Chi-Square dari analisa data didapatkan data univariat lebih dari separuh yaitu 57,4% orang tua patuh menerapkan diet bebas gluten dan kasein (DBGK), kurang dari separuh yaitu 44,7% responden memiliki perilaku yang baik dan hasil analisa data bivariat didapatkan p=0,034 lebih kecil dari 0,05 yaitu ada hubungan kepatuhan orang tua menerapkan diet bebas gluten dan kasein (DBGK) dengan perilaku anak autis. Saran pada penelitian ini adalah perlu dikembangkannya penelitian mengenai pengaruh dari diet (DBGK) terhadap perkembangan anak autisme sebagai salah satu intervensi yang diberikan oleh tenaga kesehatan untuk kajian yang lebih dalam dan jumlah sampel yang lebih banyak sehingga keakuratan hasil penelitian lebih terjamin.</p>

Autisme adalah gangguan otak pada perkembangan pervasif pada anak yang ditandai dengan adanya gangguan dan keterlambatan dalam bidang kognitif, imajinasi, bahasa, perilaku, komunikasi, dan interaksi sosial. Berdasarkan data Yayasan Autis Indonesia tahun 2013, di Kota Palangka Raya Kalimantan ada 250 ribu orang, 20% diantaranya atau sekitar 50.000 adalah anak-anak dan diperkirakan 100 anak menderita autism. E-Therapy Autism Child with Multimedia Approach (EAMA) merupakan e-therapy yang diciptakan oleh peneliti, di dalamnya memuat juga unsur e-learning. EAMA berupa software aplikasi multimedia, gabungan dan pengembangan dari terapi autis metode Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) dan Treatment and Education of Autistic and Related Communication Handicapped Children (TEACCH). EAMA memfasilitasi intervensi untuk afektif, dan peningkatan kemampuan psikomotor. Penelitian dilakukan di Sekolah Khusus Melati Ceria (SKMC) Kota palangka Raya, jumlah sampel 30 orang, dengan total sampling. Desain eksperimen murni dengan one group pre and post test yang mengukur tingkat kemampuan psikomotor dan afektif anak autis, sebelum dan sesudah intervensi dengan aplikasi EAMA dirancang oleh peneliti. Uji analisis statistik dengan wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat psikomotor, sebelum dan sesudah diberi metode EAMA (p=0,000<0,05) dan Z(-4,899), maka ada pengaruh metode EAMA dengan tingkat psikomotor sebelum dan sesudah pemberian metode EAMA. Pada tingkat afektif, diperoleh nilai (p=0,000<0,05) dengan nilai Z= -5,292, ada pengaruh pemberian metode EAMA dengan peningkatan nilai afektif pada anak autism

Esse estudo teve o objetivo geral de identificar a realidade de crianças com transtorno do espectro autista e seus familiares e o cuidado diferenciado da enfermagem a esse público. Tendo como objetivos específicos conhecer nos achados a definição do autismo e suas características, discutir sobre as dificuldades do cotidiano familiar e destacar sobre os principais cuidados de enfermagem para um atendimento humanizado e holístico. Trata-se de uma pesquisa bibliográfica exploratória, de caráter qualitativa, realizada nas bases de dados Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), Google Acadêmico, Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS) e Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde do Ministério da Saúde (BVSMS), incluindo artigos publicados de 2010 a 2020 com uma exceção, e foram utilizados os descritores: autismo infantil AND cotidiano familiar AND assistência de enfermagem. O autismo é uma patologia com muitas discussões, artigos e diretrizes para melhoria da assistência, porém o indivíduo e sua família ainda passam por diversas dificuldades, seja no tratamento e/ou julgamento da sociedade, a enfermagem tem um papel importante nos cuidados dessa patologia, podendo realizar estratégias para a promoção de cuidado humanizado à criança autista e seus familiares. Conclui-se, que quando a criança recebe o diagnóstico do autismo, a estrutura e o cotidiano familiar sofrem mudanças e com o apoio e orientação da enfermagem, o desenvolvimento da criança são aumentados. Notou-se também que a enfermagem, no momento da assistência, necessita conhecer sobre o autismo e estar preparada para fazer de forma humanizada o acolhimento, orientação e prestar os devidos cuidados. This is an exploratory bibliographic research of qualitative character carried out in the databases Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), Google Scholar, Virtual Health Library (VHL) and Virtual Health Library of the Ministry of Health (BVSMS), including articles published from 2010 to 2020 with one exception, and the following descriptors were used: infantile autism AND family daily life AND nursing care. Autism is a pathology with many discussions, articles and guidelines for care improvement, but individuals and their families still experience several difficulties, either in the treatment and/or judgment of society, nursing plays an important role in the care of this pathology, and can perform strategies for the promotion of humanized care for autistic children and their families. It is concluded that when the child receives the diagnosis of autism, the structure and daily family undergo changes and with the nursing support and guidance, the child's development is increased. It was also noticed that nursing at the time of care needs to know about autism and be prepared to make the reception, guidance and provide proper care in a humanized way. Keywords: Childhood Autism. Abstrak
Latar belakang: Autism adalah kelainan perkembangan sistem saraf pada seseorang yang kebanyakan diakibatkan oleh faktor hereditas dan kadang-kadang telah dapat dideteksi sejak bayi berusia 6 bulan. Pola asuh orangtua juga sangat dibutuhkan dalam tahap pertumbuhan dan perkembangan, karena waktu terbanyak interaksi anak autis ada dalam keluarga. Orangtua berperan sebagai stimulator pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak autis.
Metode: Desain penelitian cross sectional, dengan uji bivariat dengan Spearman rho. jumlah sampel 84 anak autism dan orangtua mereka di Kota Palangka Raya, pengambilan sampel dengan tehnik sampling purposive, pengambilan data menggunakan lembar observasi, kuesioner dan software Anthro WHO Plus 2011.
Hasil: Pola asuh orangtua yang tertinggi, pola asuh demokratis (84,5%), pola asuh permisif (8,3%), pola asuh ototriter (7,1 %). Status gizi pada anak autism persentase tertinggi adalah status gizi normal (53,6%), status gizi gemuk (21,4%), status gizi obesitas (17,9%), status gizi kurus dan sangat kurus masing-masing sama (3,6%). Tingkat Kognitif anak autism, persentase tertinggi tingkat kognitifnya meningkat (73,8%), dan tingkat kognitif tetap (26,2%). Ada hubungan signifikan anatara pola asuh orangtua dengan status gizi anak autism, dimana nilai ρ 0,008 > α 0,01. Ada hubungan signifakan antara pola asuh ibu dengan tingkat kognitif anak autism ρ 0,001 > α 0,01.
Kesimpulan: Perlu diteliti lagi faktor lainnya yang menyebabkan status gizi anak autis dapat menjadi obesitas bahkan ada yang sangat kurus, sehingga walaupun anak autism harus diet glutein dan casein, sebagai syarat awal terapi anak autis, mereka tetap dapat memiliki status gizi normal, serta tidak mengalami obesitas akibat komposisi makanan yang tidak diperhatikan. Orangtua perlu menentukan pola asuh yang tepat sebagai media interaksi yang dengan anak autis, karena anak autism yang mengalami hambatan berkomunikasi akan sulit untuk menerima informasi dari lingungan, yang artinya akan sulit untuk meningkat kognitifnya dalam proses belajar dan akan sulit pula menerima pengaturan diet sebagai non medikamentosa terapi anak autis.

Sehingga keberadaan anak autis masih dipandang sebagai orang lain di masyarakat. Padahal, anak autis mampu melakukan komunikasi, meskipun komunikasi yang dilakukan berbeda dengan orang non-autis. Kaitannya dengan dakwah, anak autis seharusnya mampu menerima pesan-pesan dakwah, sehingga penelitian mengenai anak autis dari sudut pandang mad’u dakwah sangat penting untuk dilakukan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SLB Autis Jalinan Hati Payakumbuh dengan tujuan mengetahui tentang apakah anak autis dapat digolongkan sebagai mad’u dakwah, dan bagaimana perkembangan sosial dan komunikasi anak autis sehingga ia mampu menerima pesan dakwah. Melalui penelitian lapangan (<em>field research</em>), penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif, data diperoleh dari wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menujukan bahwa (1) dilihat dari pengertian dan kriteria mad’u, anak autis dapat digolongkan sebagai mad’u dakwah; (2) anak autis memiliki pola komunikasi interpersonal yang berbeda dengan anak non-autis, dalam perkembangannya ia tetap mampu melakukan komunikasi dengan orang lain, baik mengirim ataupun menerima pesan, melalui 3 tahapan, yaitu <em>the</em> <em>own agenda stage </em>(tahapan perkembangan komunikasi yang mendasar)<em>, </em><em>the requester stage</em><em> </em>(perkembangan komunikasi mengalami kemajuan yang baik, tetapi masih terbatas)<em>, </em>dan<em> </em><em>the early communication stage</em><em> </em>(tahapan kemampuan berkomunikasi sudah lebih baik).</p><p>Child with autism is someone who has a communication disorder, which makes the sufferer unable to have good social interactions. So that the existence of autistic children is still seen as another person in society. In fact, autism can communicate, even though communication is different from non-autism. With regard to da'wah, autism should be able to receive da'wah messages, so research on autism from the point of view of mad'u da'wah is very important to do. This research was conducted at SLB Autism Jalinan Hati Payakumbuh to know whether autism can be classified as mad'u da'wah, and how the social development and communication of autism so that they can receive da'wah messages. Through field research (field research), this study uses qualitative descriptive methods, data obtained from interviews, observation and documentation. The results show that (1) seen from the definition and criteria of mad'u, autism can be classified as mad'u da'wah; (2) autism has different interpersonal communication patterns from non-autism, in their development they are still able to communicate with other people, either sending or receiving messages, through 3 stages, namely the own agenda stage (basic stages of development of communication) , the requester stage (communication development has progressed well, but is still limited), and the early communication stage (the stage of communication skills is better).</p>

This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) method in increasing vocabulary in children with autism spectrum disorder level 2. The hypothesis put forward in the study is that the PECS method is effective in increasing vocabulary in children with autism spectrum disorder level 2. The research method was a quasi-experiment with a one-group pretest posttest design. Data were collected using, observation, and interviews. The test tools for the assessment included the Coloured Progressive Matrices (CPM) test and the Binet test, the Children Autism Rating Scale (CARS), and the Vineland Social Maturity Scale (VSMS) test. Data were analyzed using the Paired Sample t-test and the results showed a significance level of 0.02 (smaller than 0.05), Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the PECS method is effective in increasing vocabulary in children with autism spectrum disorder level 2. Autism is one group of neurological disorder that affects one’s communication skills, social interaction and repetitive and stereotype behavior. Due to their behavior, they tend to have obsessive interest, no empathy and moral reasoning. Previous cases in Western countries show that some of them are also involved with serious criminal offences such as killing, arson, random shooting, cybercrime and sexual offences. In Malaysia, increasing amount of autism with the ratio of 1 to 68 of normal or mentally sound individual resulted in the necessity to address specific legal rights of autism who may involve in criminal. Meanwhile, the standard operation procedure (SOP) used during detention and interrogation procedure of mentally sound individual is also applied towards any suspect including individual with autism. The enforcement of the SOP eventually lead to arises of various problems, reaction and question from the aspect of the validity of the action and legal rights of autism. The objective of the study is to analyze the character of autism that tends to criminal’s behavior and the need to create specific SOP for detention and interrogation of individual with autism. The research framework is content analysis. The method of gathering data is semi-structure interview with police, senior counselor and psychiatrist in the field of autism as well as teachers of special education programmed. The implication of the discussion discovers the need to have specific SOP of detention and interrogation for individual with autism in order to guarantee criminal legal rights of individual with autism.

Autisme adalah satu kumpulan dalam kecelaruan neuorologi yang memberi kesan terhadap kemahiran berkomunikasi, interaksi sosial dan tingkah laku yang berulang-ulang. Tingkah laku mereka menyebabkan mereka obsesi terhadap sesuatu minat, kurangnya empati dan moral reasoning. Kes lalu di negara Barat membuktikan mereka terlibat dengan jenayah serius seperti membunuh, membakar bangunan, melepaskan tembakan secara rambang kesalahan siber dan kesalahan seksual. Di Malaysia, berlaku peningkatan bilangan autisme pada tahun 2018 dengan anggaran 1 nisbah 68 individu normal menyebabkan adanya keperluan khusus untuk mengkaji hak undang-undang mereka jika individu autisme juga mungkin terlibat dalam aktiviti salah laku jenayah. Prosedur operasi standard (SOP) dalam tangkapan, penahanan dan soal siasat individu tipikal setakat ini digunapakai terhadap golongan autisme yang terlibat dalam jenayah. Penguatkuasaan dan pelaksanaan SOP ini akhirnya menimbulkan pelbagai masalah, reaksi dan persoalan dari sudut kesahihan tindakan dan hak golongan autisme yang terlibat. Objektif kajian adalah mengkaji perilaku autisme yang cenderung kepada perlakuan jenayah dan keperluan mewujudkan SOP khusus untuk tahanan, penangkapan dan soal siasat individu autisme. Reka bentuk kajian adalah analisis kandungan. Kaedah pengumpulan data adalah temu bual separa berstruktur bersama pihak polis dan senior kaunselor dan psikiatri dalam bidang autism dan guru-guru pendidikan khas. Implikasi perbincangan mendapati perlu diwujudkan SOP tangkapan, penahanan dan soal siasat khusus untuk autisme bagi kegunaan pihak berkuasa seperti pegawai polis dan mahkamah untuk menjamin hak keadilan undang-undang jenayah individu autisme.

Objetivo: Determinar los beneficios de la hipoterapia en niños y adolescentes con diagnóstico de trastorno del espectro autista. Estrategia de búsqueda: Se realizó una búsqueda exhaustiva de Ensayos Clínicos Aleatorizados (ECA) publicados en el periodo de 2012 al 2022 que incluyeran en su reporte pacientes niños y adolescentes con diagnóstico de autismo, con dos investigadores, quienes realizaron una búsqueda individual en las siguientes bases de datos: PubMed, ScienceDirect, Cochrane Library, Web Of Science. Utilizando como términos clave principales “Equine-Assisted Therapy”, “Autistic Disorder”, “Autism Spectrum Disorder”, “Physical Therapy Modalities” y empleando las siguientes combinaciones (Equine-Assisted Therapy) AND (autism spectrum disorder), (Autistic Disorder) AND (Equine-Assisted Therapy) y (autism spectrum disorder) AND Physical Therapy Modalities). Resultados: Se recopilaron 8 artículos en los que se observan mayores beneficios en las áreas social y cognitiva en niños y adolescentes con diagnóstico de autismo. Hay escasa evidencia que soporte el beneficio en las cualidades del control motor, control postural, coordinación y marcha, factores que tienen deficiencias importantes en esta población. Conclusiones: De acuerdo con esta revisión se puede establecer que la hipoterapia tiene una diversidad de beneficios en especial en población con diagnóstico del trastorno del espectro autista y que demuestra beneficios en el comportamiento y la socialización lo cual mejora la calidad de vida de los niños y sus familias. Sin embargo, hacen falta investigaciones con buena calidad metodológica que permitan entender los beneficios de la terapia asistida con animales (caballos) en el movimiento corporal humano.

Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan selama tindakan berlangsung, tampak terlihat bahwa sukarelawan masih agak kebingungan pada awalnya ketika berinteraksi dengan siswa dengan autisme. Hal ini dikarenakan kendala komunikasi diantara mereka, salah satu siswa dengan autisme dalam penelitian ini memang cara berkomunikasinya masih sulit dipahami. dia berkomunikasi seperti membeo hanya menirukan kata-kata yang diucapkan oleh teman sukarelawannya. Namun ada penurunan intensitas perilaku yang kurang menyenangkan seperti berlari secara tiba-tiba ke arah guru yang sedang menerangkan pelajaran di depan kelas. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya keberhasilan tindakan yang diberikan kepada siswa dengan autisme tersebut.

Background: Autism disorders can disrupt the quality of life of autism children. One popular diet therapy for children with autism is a gluten and casein free diet. Gluten and casein free diet based on opioid theory are still pros and cons.Objective: To determine the difference of symptoms in autistic children who are free from gluten and casein and those who are not.Method: An observational analytic cross-sectional study was conducted at several autistic therapy centers in Surabaya. The study was carried out in children with autism aged 3-12 years and was diagnosed by a specialist. The research subjects were selected by purposive sampling method. Data collected, including data on the child's identity, data on the identity of parents, data on gluten and casein implementation were obtained through the FFQ questionnaire and data on symptoms of autistic children were obtained from the ATEC questionnaire.Results: Autistic symptom scores were good for communication skills, social interactions, cognitive responses, and behavioral disorders in autistic children on diets rather than those who did not. Bivariate test results showed that there were significant differences in the variable behavior disorder (p=0.021) and the total score (p=0.018).Conclusion: There are differences in symptoms in autistic children who are free from gluten and casein and those who are not especially on behavioral disorders.ABSTRAKLatar Belakang: Gangguan autisme dapat mengganggu kualitas hidup anak autis. Salah satu terapi diet populer bagi anak autis adalah diet bebas gluten dan kasein. Diet bebas gluten dan kasein yang didasari oleh teori opioid masih menjadi pro kontra.Tujuan: Mengetahui perbedaan gejala pada anak autis yang diet bebas gluten dan kasein dengan yang tidak diet.Metode: Penelitian analitik observasional rancangan cross sectional dilakukan di beberapa pusat terapi autis di Surabaya. Penelitian dilakukan pada anak autis berusia 3 – 12 tahun dan telah didiagnosis oleh dokter ahli. Subyek penelitian dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling. Data yang dikumpulkan, meliputi data identitas anak, data identitas orang tua, data pelaksanaan diet bebas gluten dan kasein diperoleh melalui kuesioner FFQ serta data gejala pada anak autis diperoleh dari kuesioner ATEC.Hasil: Gambaran gejala pada anak autis yang diet bebas gluten dan kasein lebih ringan daripada yang tidak diet berupa gangguan kemampuan komunikasi, interaksi sosial, respon kognitif dan gangguan perilaku. Hasil uji bivariat menunjukkan ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada variabel gangguan perilaku (p=0,021) dan skor ATEC total (p=0,018).Kesimpulan: Ada perbedaan gejala pada anak autis yang diet bebas gluten dan kasein dengan yang tidak diet terutama pada gangguan perilaku.

Autism is a mental disability caused by social interaction deficits that accompanied by repetitive behaviour and stereotyped conceptions. Children with autistic disabilities require recovery to be capable to do their daily activities, have two-way communication, and live independently. Recovery of children with autism is accomplished by undergoing therapy, among other is sensory-integration therapy. This descriptive qualitative research aims to determine the processes and effects of using kid’s music to increase the attention and productivity of children with autism. The results showed that kid’s music which is used as a companion media in sensory integration therapy for children with autism affects their attention to be more focused on completing the sensory integration therapy. Focused attention makes children with autism be more productive during their therapy. Autisme merupakan disabilitas mental yang disebabkan oleh defisit interaksi sosial yang disertai dengan perilaku repetitif dan konsepsi stereotip. Anak-anak dengan disabilitas autisme memerlukan pemulihan agar mereka dapat beraktivitas sehari-hari, berkomunikasi dua arah, dan hidup secara mandiri. Pemulihan bagi anak dengan autisme dilakukan dengan menjalani terapi, salah satunya adalah terapi sensori integrasi. Penelitian kualitatif deskriptif ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses dan pengaruh penggunaan musik anak untuk meningkatkan atensi dan produktivitas anak dengan autisme. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa musik anak yang dijadikan media pendamping terapi sensori integrasi bagi anak dengan autisme mempengaruhi atensinya sehingga menjadi lebih terarah untuk dapat menyelesaikan rangkaian terapi sensori integrasi sampai tuntas. Atensi yang terarah menjadikan anak dengan autisme lebih produktif selama terapi berlangsung.

Analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif yang terdiri dari mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan membuat kesimpulan. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru melaksanakan kompetensi pedagogis dalam pembelajaran seksual anak autis usia remaja sesuai Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 74 Tahun 2008 tentang Guru dalam Pasal 3 Ayat 4. Guru mengetahui landasan pendidikan seksual dan pentingnya pembelajaran seksual untuk anak autis. Guru juga memahami karakter anak autis usia remaja dan mengembangkan program pembelajaran seksual sesuai karakter anak autis usia remaja. Essas disfunções sensoriais podem provocar problemas na alimentação, sendo a seletividade alimentar a mais comum em crianças com TEA, que é determinada pela rejeição alimentar, resistência ao novo e limitação no repertório alimentar. Objetivo: Identificar os aspectos sensoriais e sua interferência na seletividade alimentar das crianças com Transtorno do Espectro Autista. Métodos: Consiste em uma revisão integrativa, utilizando as seguintes bases de dados eletrônica: Lilacs (Literaturac Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde), PubMed (U.S. National Library of Medicine) e SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online) através de cruzamento dos seguintes descritores, nos idiomas português e inglês: Seletividade alimentar/ Food Fussiness; Comportamento alimentar/Feeding Behavior; Transtorno do Espetro Autista/Autism Spectrum Disorder; Autismo/Autism; Autismo infantil/Autistic Disorder, utilizando o operador booleano AND. Resultados: Obteve-se um universo de 818 artigos, após os critérios elegíveis foram selecionados 39 artigos. Por fim, após leitura dos artigos na íntegra, resultou em 9 artigos compondo o estudo. Conclusão: A literatura científica demonstra que as crianças com Transtorno do Espectro Autista apresentam alterações sensoriais, como: sensibilidade sensorial oral, tátil e olfativa. Tendo como consequência maiores recusas alimentares. Porém, ainda são encontrados poucos artigos.

Children with autism often exhibit remarkable potential and talent in various fields such as arts, music, mathematics, computer science, and more. Despite facing difficulties in communication and social interaction, they possess unique intelligence and creativity. According to a 2019 study conducted by the University of California, Davis, gradual methods such as observation, communication with parents, skills testing, collaboration with professionals, exploring activities, and providing support and praise have proven effective in uncovering the talents of children with autism. The ultimate goal of this research is to create an inclusive environment that supports the development of children with autism, enabling them to thrive and make meaningful contributions in various aspects of life. The study aims to discover the hidden talents and potentials of children aged 6-17 with autism, with the hope that it will contribute to enhancing their quality of life. O autismo é considerado uma alteração em que a criança desenvolve dificuldades de comunicação, apresenta comportamentos repetitivos e dificilmente estabelece relações sociais, o que se caracteriza como um desafio para equipe. Ainda são poucas bibliografias atualizadas sobre a atuação dos profissionais frente ao autismo infantil, ou sobre autismo, obtendo-se a grande maioria das bibliografias da década de 90. Portando está realidade resultou no interesse de investigar mais sobre o assunto com o desejo de aprofundar os conhecimentos frente à assistência para criança com autismo, buscando formas e meios para auxiliar a assistência prestada pela equipe multiprofissional, e também com o objetivo de identificar a atuação da equipe multiprofissional frente ao autismo infantil. É um estudo de abordagem qualitativa, baseado em análise de dados, levantada e obtida através de uma entrevista semiestruturada com 10 profissionais que atuam em uma instituição de ensino para crianças com autismo de um município do Extremo Sul Catarinense. A análise de dados foi realizada a partir da análise de conteúdo, categorização dos dados, ordenação, classificação e análise final dos dados pesquisados. Tendo como resultado a atuação da equipe multiprofissional em exercer intervenções que auxiliam o portador de autismo a reduzir a incidência de comportamentos inadequados, essas intervenções são realizadas através de métodos para alcançar os objetivos de ensino aprendizagem, auxiliar na interação social e estimular as limitações que as crianças autistas possuem.Palavras-chave: Autismo infantil. ABSTRACT: The study is an analysis of the assistance of the multidisciplinary team in a specialized institution with Global Developmental Disorder children: Autism. Autism is considered a change in which the child develops communication difficulties, repetitive behaviors and features hardly establishes social relations, what is characterized as a challenge for the team. Yet few bibliographies updated about the activities of professionals facing the infantile autism or autism, with the vast majority of the bibliographies of the 90. Porting's reality resulted in the interest of investigating more about this with the desire to deepen the knowledge forward to assistance for children with autism, seeking ways and means to assist the assistance provided by the multidisciplinary team, and also to identify the activities of the multidisciplinary team in front of the infantile autism. Is a qualitative study, based on data analysis, lifted and obtained through a semi-structured interview with 10 professionals working in an educational institution for children with autism to a city in the extreme south of Santa Catarina. The analysis data were collected from content analysis, categorization of data, sorting, grading and final analysis of the data searched. Resulting in the multidisciplinary team in exercise interventions that assist the bearer of autism to reduce the incidence of inappropriate behaviors, these interventions are performed through methods to achieve the goals of teaching and learning, assist in social interaction and stimulate the limitations that autistic children have.Keywords: Infantile autism. Dificuldades na socialização e comunicação, em consonância com comportamentos repetitivos e estereotipados são características básicas para o diagnóstico autista. As bases fisiopatológicas de sua etiologia compreendem uma gama de fatores neurobiológicos comuns à outras patologias como a epilepsia. Devido à farmacorresistência, alternativas terapêuticas não convencionais estão em ascensão, das quais o CBD (canabidiol), fitocanabinóide extraído da Cannabis sativa, apresenta-se como forte candidato à terapêutica de pacientes epilépticos e com Perturbações do Espectro Autista (PEA). Pretendeu-se demonstrar as correlações fisiopatológicas entre o autismo e a epilepsia, atreladas à possibilidade de tratamento com o CBD. Realizou-se uma pesquisa nas bases de dados PubMed, ScieLo e ScienceDirect, observando os critérios de inclusão e exclusão: escolha do tema e categorização dos estudos, incluindo artigos em: inglês, português e espanhol, publicados entre os anos de 2012 a 2019, utilizando estratégias de busca com os seguintes descritores: autism and epilepsy, autism and cannabidiol e autism and treatment. Conclui-se que alterações genéticas e neuroquímicas estão fortemente ligadas às similaridades fisiopatológicas entre as PEA e epilepsia, visto que mutações em genes codificadores de receptores e neurotransmissores responsáveis pelas sinapses, contribuem para problemas no neurodesenvolvimento e disfunções na comunicação neuronal, ocasionando quadros clínicos comuns à essas neuropatologias.

Employing a contrapuntal reading of autism knowledge, which foregrounds the life-writings of autistics of colour, this article argues that disproportionality and delayed autism diagnoses for children of colour as well as autistic Whiteness habituates autism’s diagnostic space. Not only does this result in the clinical and cultural exclusion of children of colour from autism knowledge, it also hierarchically orders humanity. While autism has received recent philosophical attention from Ian Hacking, this article suggests that Hacking’s historical ontology does not adequately attend to the racializing effects of autism knowledge. As such, this article concludes by gesturing toward the need to re-assemble autism’s diagnostic shape through the invention of collective sites of expression which make possible #BlackAutisticJoy.

This study aims to describe the Mathematics Learning Flow of Students' with Inclusion types of Autism Needs in the Material of Addition and Subtraction of Numbers up to Two Numbers. This type of research is qualitative research. The instrument in this study is the researcher himself. Other instruments that support obtaining data are problem-solving tasks and interview guidelines to reveal the flow of students' mathematics learning inclusion types of autism needs. The subjects in this study were two students who included autism needs type, respectively male and female. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out by providing problem-solving problems in the form of mathematical problems and being strengthened by conducting interviews, it was found that the type of autism needed with the category of High Functioning Autism followed every step of Polya’s problem solving and in the student's thinking process occurred assimilated. Meanwhile, children with autism needs with the category of Low Functioning Autism do not follow every step of Polya’s problem-solving, and in the process of thinking, this student is likely to accommodate a scheme about simple data that is clearly stated in the problem.(Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Alur Belajar Matematika Siswa Inklusi Jenis Kebutuhan Autisme Pada Materi Penjumlahan dan Pengurangan Bilangan Sampai Dua Angka. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah dua orang siswa inklusi jenis kebutuhan autisme masing-masing laki-laki dan perempuan. Berdasarkan hasil analisa yang telah dilakukan dengan memberikan soal pemecahan masalah berupa soal matematika dan diberi penguatan dengan melakukan wawancara didapatkan bahwa anak dengan kebutuhan autism kategori high functioning autism mengikuti setiap langkah pemecahan masalah menurut Polya dan proses berfikir siswa tersebut terjadi secara asimilasi. Sedangkan anak dengan kebutuhan autism kategori Low Functioning Autism tidak mengikuti setiap langkah pemecahan masalah Polya dan proses berfikir siswa ini cendrung mengakomodasi skema tentang data sederhana yang secara jelas dinyatakan dalam soal).

Autism is a condition caused by internal disorders. A development characterized by abnormalities in social interactions, communication and very rigid behavior and repetition of behavior, while social interactions are needed in the daily life of children with autism in order to live like everyone else. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between eye contact, understanding, emotions, and speech on the social interactions of children with autism. This research is an analytic survey with a Cross sectional design. The population in this study were all 60 patients diagnosed with autism at the Shally Autis Center palembang. the sample in this study was the total of population, namely 60 children. The results of the study found that there was a relationship between eye contact, understanding, emotions, and speech with the social interaction of children with autism at the Shally Autis Center Palembang clinic in 2020. At the end of the study it is suggested that therapists in increasing social interaction of children with autism should pay attention to aye contact, understanding, emotion, and speech to be promoted for better development.

Latar Belakang dan Tujuan : Kasus autisme didunia pada anak (autism Infntile) semakin banyak sehingga menimbulkan kekhawatiran dikalangan masyarakat terutama orang tua. Kasus autis di amerika serikat pada tahun 2016 diperkirakan terdapat 400.000 individu dengan autisme (Juwanto, 2016). Penulis mendapatkan data penyandang autis di Provinsi Riau khususnya Pekanbaru pada tahun 2015 diperkirakan sekitar 1.044 yang tersebar dibeberapa Kabupaten (DisdikRiau, 2017). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan penerapan diet Glutein Free & Casein Free (GFCF) dengan perubahan perilaku pada anak autis di SLBN Pembina Pekanbaru.
Metode : Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian jenis kuantitatif, menggunakan desain korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 52 responden melakukan pengisian kuesioner keadaan sebelum diet dan setelah diet.
Hasil : Berdasarkan hasil uji statistic chi square diperoleh nilai p= 0.000 dan nilai signifikan lebih kecil dari α 0.05 (p= 0.000 < 0.05).
Kesimpulan : Disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan penerapan diet GFCF dengan perubahan perilaku pada anak autis.

Penanganan yang intensif dan terpadu untuk anak autis disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan anak agar pelaksanaanya dapat memberikan hasil yang maksimal. Suatu layanan yang diberikan bagi anak autis harus disesuaikan dengan metode yang tepat sehingga dapat di terapkan secara langsung. Upaya untuk menyikapi permasalahan tersebut. Sehingga, dibutuhkan penanganan untuk anak autis yaitu peran dari professional yang terlibat. Dalam penanganan anak autis dibutuhkan profesi yang memiliki keterampilan dan pengetahuan di bidangnya. Salah satunya yaitu peran dari pekerja sosial dan profesi lainnya yang berkolaborasi dengan pekerja sosial, Pekerja sosial dalam upaya penanganan anak autis dapat melakukan assessment dan intervensi terhadap permasalahan anak autis tersebut dengan menggunakan pendekatan secara holistic dengan lingkungan sosialnya dan dengan pendekatan biopsikosial. Peran pekerja sosial juga bersama-sama dengan keluarga anak autis tersebut dapat memberikan dukungan sosial dan memotivasi anak dengan gangguan autis tersebut.ABSTRACTAutism is one of the psychological and developmental disorders experienced by children. The development is not physical, but rather the ability to communicate, socialize well as behavior. Symptoms of autism that really stood out was the attitude of children who tend not to care about the environment and the people around him, as if refusing to communicate and interact, as well as living in his own world. Handling intensive and integrated for children with autism tailored to the needs of children so that implementation can provide maximum results. A service provided for children with autism should be tailored to the exact method that can be applied directly. Efforts to address these problems. Thus, needed treatment for children with autism is the role of the professionals involved. In the treatment of autistic children who have the necessary professional skills and knowledge in the field. One of them is the role of social workers and other professionals who collaborate with social workers, social workers in handling children with autism can do an assessment and intervention for children with autism are problems with using a holistic approach with the social environment and the biopsikosial approach. Este artigo analisa a evolução linguística e cognitiva de dois bebês em sofrimento psíquico, um deles com risco para estruturação autista e outro não autista, e compara dois instrumentos de identificação do risco psíquico, os Indicadores Clínicos de Risco/Referência ao Desenvolvimento Infantil (IRDI) e o Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers (M-CHAT). A análise do brincar evidenciou atraso de linguagem e cognitivo em ambos os casos, sendo esse atraso mais importante no caso de risco para autismo. O IRDI conseguiu diferenciar melhor a direção da estruturação psíquica do que o M-CHAT.

Identificar os dados sociodemográficos de professores de estudantes com Transtorno do Espectro do Autismo (TEA), bem como analisar o conhecimento desses profissionais acerca do TEA. Pesquisa avaliativa, descritivo-exploratória, com abordagem quantitativa. Participaram da pesquisa 11 professores de alunos no Espectro do autismo. Os dados foram coletados por meio da aplicação de um questionário com perguntas fechadas. Verificou-se que todas as participantes são do sexo feminino. A respeito da formação complementar, a maior parcela das participantes possui especialização. Ademais, os achados deste estudo evidenciam que as professoras possuem conhecimento sobre o TEA, todavia, ainda há necessidade de uma maior capacitação acerca do assunto. Infere-se que trabalhar com estudantes com TEA requer a aquisição de vasto entendimento das particularidades apresentadas por cada aluno.Descritores: Transtorno do Espectro do Autismo, Professor, Conhecimento.
