Audito metodologija plačiai nagrinėjama tiek užsienio, tiek Lietuvos autorių mokslinėje literatūroje, tačiau išsamių studijų, kuriose būtų sistemingai analizuojamos visos šiuo metu naudojamos audito rūšys, nėra daug. Kokybės audito metodologija taip pat nėra iki galo išnagrinėta ir aiškiai susisteminta. Nagrinėjant audito koncepcijas sunku vienareikšmiškai nustatyti, kuriam audito tipui – veiklos ar valdymo – yra priskiriamas kokybės auditas. Atlikta mokslinės literatūros analizė atskleidė, kad visoje audito sistemoje kokybės auditą galima identifikuoti kaip veiklos audito sudedamąją dalį. Kokybės auditas yra svarbus visoje audito sistemoje, nes jis yra dalis vertinimo proceso, kuriuo auditoriai atskleidžia tobulintinas organizacijos veiklos kokybės sritis. Quality audit: concept and methodology improvementIndrė Pečiulytė, Juozas Ruževičius SummaryThe methodology of audit is extensively researched by both foreign and Lithuanian authors, but there isn’t a complete theory of audit, in which all the currently existing types of audit are mentioned. This is due to the fact that the quality audit methodology is not fully explored and clearly systematized. When analyzing audit concepts, it is a challenge to determine which type of audit – performance or management – is attributable to the quality audit. The theoretical analysis has shown that in the audit system the quality audit can be assigned as part of the performance audit. Quality audit is important throughout the audit system as it is part of the evaluation process, which helps auditors to reveal areas for improvement within their organizations. According to the theoretical literature systematic analysis and the quality auditors’ questionnaire survey results, in this study the audit system model by the functional character has been formed, the advantages and disadvantages of quality audit techniques have been identified, and recommendations for the quality audit methodology improvement are presented.Keywords: quality audit, auditing process, audit system, audit methodology, improvement, survey, model.

The growth of internet and its reachability to all sectors of people have never been greater. Internet has become the best marketplace, the best library and may be the best guide for everything. But this revolution comes with some bigger problems. One of the most challenging problems among them would be copyright protection of digital data being transferred over internet. Digital images, videos and audios undergo illegal re-production and re-distributions, tampering and other acts of copyright violation. This is proved to have leading the film and other prominent industries to loss of millions of dollars per year. Encrypting the data provides security to it. In this case only people who pay to buy the secret key that should be used for decryption can use the data. But the problem is that once decrypted, the data can be re-produced into any number of copies and can be re-distributed without any permission from the author. Watermarking is an intelligent solution for this problem where the presence of watermark can be checked to distinguish pirated copies from the actual ones. A lot of methods have been developed for image and video watermarking, but the research on audio watermarking started a little bit later. The reason might be the fact that audio watermarking is tedious compared to image and video as Human Auditory System (HAS) is more sensitive compared to Human Visionary System. So ensuring the imperceptibility of audio watermarks is a tougher task. In this thesis various audio watermarking schemes introduced so far in the literature and their merits and demerits are studied.

Abstract:
The emotional potential of sound is an excellent resource for companies and institutions seeking to test new ways of communicating with their stakeholders through the senses. However, there are still few organizations that include sound as a conveyer of their corporate identity. Audio branding aims to expand the contact points with audiences by incorporating sound elements that facilitate the recognition of the brand's values. This research attempts to understand the use that corporations make of sound as a communication tool and to evaluate its presence, but above all it wants to find out if this use is due to a strategic approach or if it is a specific decision marked by the temporality of advertising campaigns. For this reason, in this paper we have taken the radio as an advertising media. On the one hand, because it is the sound media par excellence. On the other hand, because it is where we can find the most well-known modes of audio branding such as the brand song, the jingle or the sonotype. The sample, composed of 239 inserts from the 3 generalist radio channels with the highest audiences in Spain, reveals that only 21% of items contain an element of audio branding, indicating that this is a field yet to be explored by organizations.

Abstract:
This article brings the results of an investigation into the role of WhatsApp audio messages in the 2018 Brazilian presidential elections, proposing that instant voice messaging borrows elements from radio language. We started from a broader research, conducted by the Brazilian National Institute of Science and Technology in Digital Democracy (INCT.DD, in its Portuguese acronym), which identified a network composed of 220 WhatsApp groups – all of them with open-entry links – supporting six different candidates. Those groups put together thousands of anonymized profiles linked through connections to similar groups, configuring an extensive network. More than 1 million messages, including 98,000 audios, were gathered and downloaded during 2018 Brazilian electoral period (from June to October). We focused on eighteen audios with major circulation (totalling 3622 appearances) among the ones shared at least 100 times, which were extracted and analysed. The use of radio content analysis techniques pointed out strong evidence that audio messaging remediate radiophonic elements such as intimacy and colloquial language to accelerate disinformation campaigns.

Abstract:
The aim of this paper is to analyse the relationship between the internal audit function and auditor's fees using a sample of Spanish listed companies between 2003 and 2011. We use the audit fees model that was proposed by Simunic (1980). Our results indicate that fees are greater in those companies that have an internal audit function. In addition, if there are meetings between the audit committee and the internal audit function, this is statistically significant with audit fees. This paper contributes to literature in several ways. Firstly, there are no previous papers in Spain, unlike other contexts, on the relationship between internal audit and auditor fees. Secondly, the empirical results detected in previous studies are conflicting; therefore, there is a need to complement them. Finally, the findings have practical implications for companies, external auditors and regulatory agencies themselves. El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar la relación existente entre la función de auditoría interna y los honorarios del auditor sobre una muestra de empresas que cotizan en el mercado continuo español entre 2003 y 2011. Utilizando el modelo de honorarios de auditoría propuesto por Simunic (1980), los resultados indican que los honorarios de auditoría son mayores en aquellas compañías que cuentan con la existencia de un departamento de auditoría interna. Asimismo, la existencia de reuniones entre el comité de auditoría y la función de auditoría interna es estadísticamente significativa con los honorarios. Este estudio contribuye a la literatura de diversas formas. En primer lugar, no existen trabajos anteriores en España, a diferencia de otros contextos, sobre la relación entre auditoría interna y honorarios. En segundo lugar, los resultados empíricos detectados en estudios previos resultan contradictorios por lo tanto lleva a la necesidad de complementarlos. Finalmente, los resultados tiene implicaciones prácticas para la empresa, los auditores externos y los propios organismos reguladores.

Abstract:Computer data security relies on preventing data theft from irresponsible parties by using cryptography method. Some cryptography algorithms have good and poor performance in encrypting and decrypting data depending on the key types. Therefore the purpose of this research is to measure the performance of the hybrid algorithm, consisting a symmetric keyBlowfish algorithm and an asymmetric key RSA algorithm, in encrypting and decrypting multiple types of data such as documents, photos, audios, and videos. The result is the performance of the hybrid algorithm is almost on par with Blowfish and provides a more secure data encryption and decryption by taking advantage of RSA algorithm. The average encryption performance of hybrid algorithm is 0.85s on document, 1.06s on photo, 3.38s on audio, and 15.56s on video. While the average decryption performance of hybrid algorithm is 1.01s on document, 1.38s on photo, 4.3s on audio, and 27.56s on video. Beberapa metode kriptografi memiliki performa yang baik dan buruk tergantung dengan tipe kuncinya. Maka dari itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengukur tingkat kecepatan kriptografi hybrid, terdiri dari algoritma simetris Blowfish dan algoritma asimetris RSA, dengan beberapa tipe data seperti dokumen, foto, audio dan video. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah algoritma hybrid memiliki performa yang tidak jauh berbeda dari algoritma Blowfish dan membuat proses enkripsi dan dekripsi data lebih aman dengan keunggulan dari algoritma RSA. Rata-rata kecepatan enkripsi algoritma hybrid untuk dokumen 0,85 detik, gambar 1,06 detik, audio 3,38 detik, dan video 15,56 detik. Sedangkan rata-rata kecepatan dekripsi algoritma hybrid untuk dokumen 1,01 detik, gambar 1,38 detik, audio 4,3 detik, dan video 27,56 detik. Abstract:
The article examines the relationship between unforeseen government revenue and the actual audit conduct. It has been found that overprofits can worsen the public organizations’ work, while government audits increase their effectiveness. The findings were obtained through macroeconomic management modeling that was structurally evaluated using econometric formulas and quasi government data. Based on the estimated model, the correlation between over income and the number of audits on the public administration’s effectiveness has been determined. В статье исследуется взаимосвязь непредвиденных государственных доходов и фактического проведения аудита. Выяснилось, что сверхприбыль может ухудшить работу общественных организаций, а государственный аудит повысит их эффективность. Результаты были получены с помощью моделирования макроэкономического управления, которое было структурно оценено с использованием эконометрических формул с использованием квазигосударственных данных. На основе оценочной модели была определена корреляция между избыточным доходом и количеством проверок эффективности государственного управления.

Abstract:
Purpose This study aims to investigate the extent to which the provision of non-audit services (NAS) by external auditors to audit clients affects auditors’ independence and the audit expectation gap in Nigeria. Design/methodology/approach The study adopts an interpretivist approach. In total, 30 semi-structured, face-to-face interviews were conducted to explore the views expressed by audit partners and pension fund managers in Nigeria; group responses were evaluated and presented separately. After transcribing the interview audio recordings, a thematic data analysis of the two groups’ responses was performed. Findings Interpretation of the interview responses indicates that the provision of NAS by audit firms to their audit clients is regarded by auditors as a matter of economic necessity. Nevertheless, it is also perceived as impeding auditors’ independence and increasing the gap between the auditor and public expectations. Practical implications This study contributes to the debate surrounding the need for an independent body to oversee auditing standard setting distinct from the current practice to enhance transparency. Originality/value A qualitative analysis of the nuanced responses obtained from the semi-structured interviews reveals starkly the perceived economic pressures on auditors to accept non-audit work. Moreover, it endorses the regulation to restrict non-audit work in support of a sustainable fee level for an independent audit.

Metode audio-lingual sebagai sebuah metode traditional yang ada sejak lama masih terus digunakan oleh pengajar Bahasa asing terutama dalam Bahasa Arab dengan penyesuaian pada perkembangan jaman. Sadar atau tidak metode inilah yang selalu terulang dalam pembelajaran bahasa arab sehingga tetap menarik untuk di bahas dan dikaji. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pustaka dengan tujuan untuk menjelaskan konsep metode audio-lingual dan penerapannya dalam pembelajaran bahasa arab. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan metode dokumentasi terhadap literatur yang berkaitan dengan metode auadio-lingual dan penerapannya dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab. Dan teknik analisa data dengan menggunakan triangulasi data. Setelah melakukan analisa terhadap penelitian ini, peneliti menemukan bahwa penerapan metode audio-lingual lebih banyak digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara karena karakter metode ini adalah menyebutkan dan mengulang sehingga dengan bentuk pengulangan membuat peserta didik menjadi terampil dalam berbicara. Dari temuan penelitian ini peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa metode audio-lingual masih relevan digunakan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab karena metode ini mengikuti kebiasaan pembelajaran yang banyak pengulangan.

This main focus of this study is to analysis the effect of the company ownership and company growth on audit report lag. The target sample of this study consists of companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2014-2018. This study using purposive sampling method to collected data. There are 428 companies that required and proceed with panel regression to analyze the effect of independent variable on dependen variable. The result however show that only foreign ownership has significant impact on audit report lag, but managerial ownership, institutional ownership, company growth, and ownership concentration has insignificant impact on audir report lag.

Abstract:
One of the requirements faced as a result of information technology development is memory and transmission efficiency. This requirement can be overcome with data compression. Compression is a method to obtain compact data with a smaller size but still maintaining similarity to the original data. Principal Component Analysis (PCA) is an algorithm in machine learning that is used to reduce dimensions. Dimensional reduction is a process of transforming high-dimensional data into new subspaces with lower dimensions. The goal is to use some principal components to represents the original data. Wavelet transformation represents a signal into a set of basic functions through filter analysis. Wavelets concentrate information into coefficients of approximation and coefficients of detail. Wavelet transform produces a lot of zero or close to zero coefficients that can be neglected so it can reduce storage space. In this research, we will propose the implementation of PCA and Wavelet for digital audio compression. The audio was performed with the .wav format. The compressed audio will be evaluated based on Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) and Mean Square Error (MSE). The mean PSNR obtained when using a wavelet is 47.61601 dB with an average MSE of 3.76 x 10-5. Meanwhile, when using PCA, the PSNR average was 57.3962772 dB and the average MSE obtained was 4.59 x 10-5. Four out of five compressed audio had a larger PSNR and smaller MSE when using PCA. Thus, the Principal Component Analysis algorithm can be better used for audio compression than the level 1 of Symlet Wavelet Transformation.

The population in this study is all 23 regencies/cities in Aceh Province. Samples are selected by using saturated or census sample techniques. The data source of this study cames from the secondary data obtained from the reports audit result of audi board of Indonesia for the 2015-2017 period. Analysis method used is ordinal logistic regression analysis. The result of this study indicates that (1) The Planning internal quality audit is relevant with, attempting to fulfill costumer’s demand, to is relevan with audi vision, audit schedule, the formulation of audit purpose, and the audit form, (2) the implementation of audit is reasonably inappropriate with the purpose and the scope of the audit, and (3) the follow up audit is relevant with the established evaluation standard. As the final thought, this study recommends STAIN Curup conduct well planned and well program internal quality audit continuously so that it can serve as self-reflection for the insitution. Existing audio tools handle the increasing amount of computer audio data inadequately. The typical tape-recorder paradigm for audio interfaces is inflexible and time consuming, especially for large data sets. On the other hand, completely automatic audio analysis and annotation is impossible using current techniques. Alternative solutions are semi-automatic user interfaces that let users interact with sound in flexible ways based on content. This approach offers significant advantages over manual browsing, annotation and retrieval. Furthermore, it can be implemented using existing techniques for audio content analysis in restricted domains. This paper describes MARSYAS, a framework for experimenting, evaluating and integrating such techniques. As a test for the architecture, some recently proposed techniques have been implemented and tested. In addition, a new method for temporal segmentation based on audio texture is described. This method is combined with audio analysis techniques and used for hierarchical browsing, classification and annotation of audio files.

Los productos culturales de la educación no formal, y en concreto los difundidos por televisión y plataformas streaming, incluidas no ficción y animación infantil, proponen entre sus figuraciones personajes estereotipados en su construcción de género. Según investigaciones previas, identificarlos y combatirlos favorece la erradicación de ideas sexistas relacionadas con violencias machistas. Por ello, el objetivo que se planteó fue diseñar y validar una tabla de análisis de estereotipos sexuales presentes en cualquier producto audiovisual. El proceso siguió un protocolo de 3 fases (Garrido et al., 2015): 1) Se revisó la literatura publicada, se extrajeron rasgos relacionados con estereotipos de género, se completó la redacción de los ítems y se redistribuyeron, en parejas, en 5 categorías: corporal, actitudinal, social, afectivo-sexual, audiovisual. 2) El borrador fue sometido a un proceso de validación experta por 27 juezas y 8 jueces, cuyas aportaciones cuantitativas determinaron un índice de validez de constructo de .71. 3) Con sus sugerencias cualitativas se ajustaron contenido y claridad. El resultado es el diseño de la tabla EG_5x4 para el análisis de estereotipos de género en películas, series u otros productos audiovisuales, que se presenta, se discute y se compara con otras existentes, para su utilización en ulteriores investigaciones. Abstract:
Reducing environmental noise in urban settings, i.e., unwanted or harmful outdoor sounds produced by human activity, has become an important issue in recent years. Most countries have established regulations that set maximum permitted noise levels. However, enforcing these regulations effectively remains challenging as it requires active monitoring networks and audio analysis performed by trained specialists. The manual evaluation of the audio recordings is laborious, time-consuming, and inefficient since many audios exceeding the noise level threshold do not correspond to a sound event considered by the regulation. To address this challenge, this work proposes a computational pipeline to assist specialists in detecting noise sources in the built environment that do not comply with the Chilean noise regulation. The system incorporates a deep neural model following a pre-trained audio neural network architecture transferred to a dataset compiled from public sources and recordings in Valdivia, Chile. The target dataset follows a customized taxonomy of urban sound events. The system also uses a public API so potential users can post audio files to obtain a prediction matrix reporting the presence of noise sources contributing to environmental noise pollution. Experiments using recordings from two continuous noise monitoring stations showed that the amount of data to be inspected by the specialist is decreased by 97% when the deep-learning tools are used. Therefore, this system efficiently assists trained experts in enforcing noise legislation through machine-assisted environmental noise monitoring.

This paper deals with several of the possible uses of Zipf and inverse Zipf laws in the field of audio signal analysis. We show that these laws are powerful analysis tools allowing the extraction of information not available by standard methods. The adaptation of Zipf and inverse Zipf laws to audio signals requires a coding of these signals into text-like data, considered as sequences of patterns. Because these codings are of first importance since they have to bring to the fore relevant information within signals, three types of codings have been developed, depending on the representation of the audio signal it is based on: temporal, frequential and time-scale representations. Once audio signal has been coded, features linked to Zipf and inverse Zipf approaches are computed. Finally, the classification step aims at the identification of signals. Four classification methods have been considered as well as a fusion method that combines these classifiers. In order to evaluate our method, we apply it on medical acoustical signals. They occur when swallowing and contain xiphoidal sounds. The problem is to extract and characterize xiphoidal sounds according to the gastro-oesophageal reflux pathological state. The aim is to help medical doctors to characterize and diagnose this pathology, and to give, in the end, a decision help tool as efficient as possible.

In this paper, we modify the audio files recorded by IOS “Voice Memo” by cutting and erasing them in the software, and use various software and websites to authenticate the audio files originality by taking the method of graphical analysis and metadata feature analysis of the files. By comparison, we find out the differences of the original and modified audio files and the general method of judging the originality of audio files. The results of the experiments show that the audio files generated by the IOS system's own voice memo are in M4A format by default and that the audio files generated in the IOS system environment have the important feature of system version information encoding.

In 2016, the Himalayan FM took the lead in trying to produce and disseminate knowledge-based audio pay programs, creating a premium pay program zone, and playing a leading role in the mobile pay audio field. Although Himalayan FM is the "leader" of mobile pay audio platform, there are also some problems that must be solved in the development. In this paper, the nonlinear theoretical method is adopted, and the motion equation of the audio frequency is obtained through variable processing, so as to obtain the mean square fluctuation of the two sound wave models and then obtain the entanglement and compression. Moreover, this paper introduces the combined mode method to describe the interaction of the two laser fields and atomic matter and verifies that both the differential modes are decoupled from the interaction and only the sum mode participates in the interaction. The experiment verifies that the music audio analysis system based on spectrum analysis technology proposed in this paper can play an important role in music analysis.

The research on brain cognition provides theoretical support for intelligence and cognition in computational intelligence, and it is further applied in various fields of scientific and technological innovation, production and life. Use of the 5G network and intelligent terminals has also brought diversified experiences to users. This paper studies human perception and cognition in the quality of experience (QoE) through audio noise. It proposes a novel method to study the relationship between human perception and audio noise intensity using electroencephalogram (EEG) signals. This kind of physiological signal can be used to analyze the user’s cognitive process through transformation and feature calculation, so as to overcome the deficiency of traditional subjective evaluation. Experimental and analytical results show that the EEG signals in frequency domain can be used for feature learning and calculation to measure changes in user-perceived audio noise intensity. In the experiment, the user’s noise tolerance limit for different audio scenarios varies greatly. The noise power spectral density of soothing audio is 0.001–0.005, and the noise spectral density of urgent audio is 0.03. The intensity of information flow in the corresponding brain regions increases by more than 10%. The proposed method explores the possibility of using EEG signals and computational intelligence to measure audio perception quality. In addition, the analysis of the intensity of information flow in different brain regions invoked by different tasks can also be used to study the theoretical basis of computational intelligence.

Recently, neural network based speech synthesis has achieved outstanding results, by which the synthesized audios are of excellent quality and naturalness. However, current neural TTS models suffer from the robustness issue, which results in abnormal audios (bad cases) especially for unusual text (unseen context). To build a neural model which can synthesize both natural and stable audios, in this paper, we make a deep analysis of why the previous neural TTS models are not robust, based on which we propose RobuTrans (Robust Transformer), a robust neural TTS model based on Transformer. Comparing to TransformerTTS, our model first converts input texts to linguistic features, including phonemic features and prosodic features, then feed them to the encoder. In the decoder, the encoder-decoder attention is replaced with a duration-based hard attention mechanism, and the causal self-attention is replaced with a "pseudo non-causal attention" mechanism to model the holistic information of the input. Besides, the position embedding is replaced with a 1-D CNN, since it constrains the maximum length of synthesized audio. With these modifications, our model not only fix the robustness problem, but also achieves on parity MOS (4.36) with TransformerTTS (4.37) and Tacotron2 (4.37) on our general set.
