Abstract:
This case report describes the therapeutic management of a 23-year-old patient with encrusted double J stent in the bladder. A mini-cystotomy was performed to extract the encrusted lower end of the stent, followed by the placement of a new stent. Subsequently, flexible ureteroscopy with laser lithotripsy was conducted to remove renal calculi. The postoperative outcomes were favorable, with pain regression and absence of residual stones. A multidisciplinary and individualized approach is crucial in the management of encrusted double J stents to optimize clinical outcomes and prevent long-term complication.

Abstract:
Abstract It has been argued (e.g., by De Villiers and colleagues) that the acquisition of sentence embedding is necessary for the development of first-order Theory of Mind (ToM): the ability to attribute beliefs to others. This raises the question whether the acquisition of double embedded sentences is related to, and perhaps even necessary for, the development of second-order ToM: the ability to attribute beliefs about beliefs to others. This study tested 55 children (aged 7-10) on their ToM understanding in a false-belief task and on their elicited production of sentence embeddings. We found that second-order ToM passers produced mainly double embeddings, whereas first-order ToM passers produced mainly single embeddings. Furthermore, a better performance on second-order ToM predicted a higher rate of double embeddings and a lower rate of single embeddings in the production task. We conclude that children’s ability to produce double embeddings is related to their development of second-order ToM.

Abstract:
The Complexo do Alemão, a group of 12 favelas in Rio de Janeiro, attracted the attention of Brazilian and International corporate media when the police and the army ‘pacified’ the favelas in 2010. Part of a broader political and economic project to make Rio de Janeiro ‘safe for large-scale events, pacification consists of seizing back territories from the control of drug dealers by installing permanent police units. This paper focuses on how different discourses on the ‘pacification’ of the Alemão simultaneously entextualized and projected trajectories of reception, interpellation and agency. It also delineates different and competing communicable maps (Briggs 2007) of these trajectories of signs. While looking at ethnographic evidence from local reception of mediatized signs and people’s own communicable maps, it draws attention to major gaps in communicable constructions of pacification, thus attempting to accentuate some complexities of Rio’s mainstream pragmatics of circulation.

Abstract:
The MRN complex is formed by the interaction of the products of the Mre11, Rad50 and Nbs1 genes. This complex plays a central role on repair of double-strand breaks (DSBs) and acts in a great number of cellular processes. In this study we have performed the analysis of the MRN complex in diploid and polyploid species of wheat. The molecular characterization was carried out in the diploid T. monococcum (genome A) and Ae. tauschii (genome D) and in the tetraploid T. turgidum (genomes A and B). The results obtained showed that in all cases the genes presented the main characteristics previously described in other species. A modified FISH protocol was used to locate the Rad50, Mre11 and the Nbs1 genes on the homoeologous chromosomes 5, 2 and 1, respectively. Analysis of expression showed that the hexaploid T. aestivum was the species with the higher level of expression whereas the rest of the species analysed showed no relation with its ploidy. Also, quantification of the expression of each homoeologous gene in the polyploid species evidenced in some cases a process of silencing after polyploidization. The study of the interaction between the proteins demonstrated that the interaction of proteins was not restricted to each genome, detecting interaction between proteins belonging to different genomes.

Abstract:
The research design for this study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining both quantitative and qualitative techniques to investigate the effectiveness of the methodological complex in enhancing students' interest in mathematics through the use of gaming technologies. This approach allows for a comprehensive examination of the complex interactions between teaching methodologies, gaming technologies, and students' interest in mathematics.

Abstract:
Objective: To investigate isomorphism between two complex fuzzy graphs and prove it is an equivalence relation. The major objective of this research paper is to elucidate weak and strong isomorphism, and the study also endeavours to look at the complement of complex fuzzy graphs. Methods: Isomorphism is examined by comparing the membership values of nodes and arcs (both amplitude and phase). The same technique also proves further validation of the equivalence relation, which is also proven by the same technique. This criterion helps us to identify and formalise the isomorphic relationship between complex fuzzy graphs. Findings: This study demonstrates that isomorphism in complex fuzzy graphs allows for consideration of graph structures' differences and similarities. It provides for a better understanding of significant connections between complex fuzzy graphs. Novelty: By offering an elaborate perception of the idea of isomorphism in complex fuzzy graphs, this work advances the discipline. It seeks a better understanding of the complexities of equivalency determination for complicated structures, as well as the application of isomorphism theory to complex fuzzy graphs. Keywords: Complex fuzzy graph, Homomorphism, Isomorphism, Partial order relation, Self complementary

Abstract:
Due to the increasing complexity of the security challenges, it is necessary to change the approach and understand security in a much more complex way than before. We consider it even more important to provide the capabilities needed to meet complex security challenges than changing the theoretical approach. Without providing the necessary capabilities, we will not have a chance to prevent and manage complex security challenges. In the present article, we examine the possibility to ensure complex military and civilian capabilities corresponding to complex security challenges. Also, it is being considered the development and the usability of the defence planning system, generated and used by the military, in order to provide civilian capabilities. Furthermore, we propose to set a parallel structure for military and civilian capability development to provide adequate complex capabilities for complex challenges.
