Abstract:
The primary aim of this article is to question whether the general anti-abuse rule (GAAR) of Anti-Tax Avoidance Directive (ATAD) is an effective tool to tackle tax avoidance. By using a comparative technique as a method, other directives that include a GAAR will be analysed as a companion to the ATAD to identify whether there is a common understanding of the concept of abuse of tax laws within the EU legal order. Then the general consequences of the application of the GAAR of the ATAD will be exposed. The difficulties which could be encountered in the application procedure will be explained around some potential scenarios, based on simple models developed by the author. Abstract:
Objective In patients presenting with acute Type A aortic dissections (ATADs), the authors sought to evaluate whether emergent aortic operations performed by cardiac surgeons with different level of aortic surgery experience can impact perioperative outcomes and survival. Methods A single-center review of 102 patients who underwent aortic surgeries for ATAD was conducted. The cohort was divided into those operated on by aortic specialists (AS:3 surgeons) and non-AS (5 surgeons). Multivariable logistic regression and Cox proportional hazard models were fitted to evaluate associations between the surgeon experience, perioperative outcomes, and survival, respectively. Results Of 102 patients, 60 were operated on by AS and 42 were operated on by non-AS. Overall 30-day mortality was 11 (10.8%) with 4 (6.6%) perioperative deaths in the AS group and 7 (16.6%) among the non-AS group (p = 0.2). AS performed a significantly higher number of root replacement procedures (41.6% vs. 23.8%, respectively, p = 0.049) and employed more frequent adjunct cerebral perfusion during circulatory arrest (p = 0.003). Survival analysis indicated AS status was an independent predictor of improved 2-year survival (hazard ratio: 0.37, 95% confidence interval: 0.15–0.92, p = 0.03). Conclusion Operation by AS for ATAD was associated with reduced adjusted risk of 2-year mortality. This adds support for establishing thoracic aortic emergency call teams staffed by AS.

Abstract:
European Union (EU) law has played a key role in enforcing the EU base erosion and profit shifting (BEPS) agenda, while also introducing limits to the application thereof. The European Commission (EC) sees a clear link between aggressive tax planning and competition law. Against this background, EU State aid law has been employed to challenge the business models of multinational enterprises. At present there are a number of opened cases, where a decision either by the EC or the General Court of the EU is pending. These cases deal with the application of EU State aid law on inter alia tax regimes (e.g. exemption of interest and royalty payments), transfer pricing, and the misapplication of law. The approach the EC is taking in those cases, especially in matters of competence, raises a number of questions, which can only be addressed in a definitive manner by the EU Courts. Similar issues may arise in the field of positive harmonization through the recently adopted Anti-Tax Avoidance Directive (ATAD). For instance, given that a general anti-abuse rule has been included in Article 6 ATAD and has therefore become EU law, the EC and the EU Courts are competent to decide whether it should be applied in certain situations, and whether non-application thereof may amount to unlawful State aid. However, EU free movement law should be respected by Member States when implementing anti-BEPs measures. Accordingly, so far, the limitation on benefits clause contained in double tax treaties has been challenged by the EC, while the compatibility of the anti-avoidance rules against hybrid mismatches with EU free movement law is questionable.

Türkiye’nin en önemli gelir kaynaklarından biri olan turizm sektöründe gelecek dönemlerdeki olası turizm talebinin belirlenmesi; kaynakların dağıtılması ve planlanması, doğru fiyat politikalarının tespit edilmesi ve uygun pazarlama tekniklerinin seçilmesi açısından önem arz etmektedir. Bu nedenle, bu çalışmada Ekim 2021 ve Eylül 2022 (2021:10 – 2022:09) tarihlerindeki Türkiye’ye yönelik turizm talebinin tahmin edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu bağlamda turizm talebinin tahmin edilmesinde vekil değişken olarak 1990:01 - 2021:09 zaman aralığında Türkiye’ye gelen turist sayıları verileri kullanılmıştır. Belirtilen dönemde gerçekleşmesi beklenen turizm talebinin tahmin edilmesinde Box-Jenkins yöntemi altında ele alınan ARIMA (entegre otoregresif hareketli ortalama modeli) ve SARIMA (mevsimsel entegre otoregresif hareketli ortalama modeli) modelleri uygulanmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda en iyi uyum gösteren modelin, SARIMA (2,1,2)(2,1,0) modeli olduğu belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada ayrıca gelecek 12 aya yönelik öngörü yapılmıştır.

Bu araştırmanın amacı marka değeri en yüksek restoran zincirlerinin finansal başarısızlık risk düzeylerini incelemek ve Covid-19 salgınının finansal başarısızlık riski üzerindeki etkisini ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaçla Brand Finance 2020 sıralamasına göre marka değeri en yüksek 17 restoran zincirinin, 2016-2020 yılları arasında finansal başarısızlık riskleri Altman Z Skor, Altman Z’ Skor, Altman Z’’ Skor, Springate, Fulmer ve Ohlson modelleriyle ölçülmüştür. Analiz sonucunda finansal başarısızlık riski taşıyan restoran sayısının tüm modellerde geçmişten günümüze yaklaştıkça artış eğiliminde olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bununla birlikte Covid-19 salgını öncesi (2016-2019) ve Covid-19 salgını dönemi (2020) arasındaki finansal başarısızlık risk skorları bağlamında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark olup olmadığı Wilcoxon İşaretli Sıra Testi ile test edilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuca göre Ohlson modeli dışındaki tüm modellerde Covid-19 salgını öncesi ve salgın dönemi arasında finansal başarısızlık değerleri bağlamında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık saptanmıştır.

Permasalahan utama dari proses penjemuran hasil panen pertanian dan proses permindahan hasil panen dari penjemuran ke tempat penyimpanan adalah kondisi cuaca. Kemajuan teknologi nirkabel (wireless) sangat mendukung sebagai sarana monitoring pada proses penjemuran hasil panen pertanian, salah satunya adalah teknologi GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) yang murah dengan jangkauan luas serta media komunikasi dan sarana informasi yang real-time. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang suatu sistem kendali model atap bersirip otomatis termonitor melalui handphone yang bisa mengendalikan buka atau tutup atap secara manual, dapat juga bekerja secara otomatis terus-menerus dengan membaca parameter-parameter kondisi lingkungan seperti cuaca hujan atau tidak, cuaca cerah tersinari matahari maupun suhu ruang yang disesuaikan >29o. Sistem dirancang menggunakan sensor hujan ( Weather Sensitivity Module ), sensor suhu DHT11, dan sensor cahaya LDR (Light Dependant Resistor) serta motor servo sebagai aktuator dengan menggunakan Arduino sebagai unit pengendali sistem. Sistem dirancang dengan kemampuan untuk menyesuaikan arah sinar matahari (tracking) dengan posisi sirip atap antara 110o,130o,145o dan 175o guna memaksimalkan panas sinar matahari pada proses penjemuran yang dilengkapi dengan modul GSM SIM800L untuk proses monitoring dan kontrol jarak jauh. Keberhasilan penelitian ini sangat bermanfaat di bidang pertanian khususnya penerapan teknologi hasil pertanian.

ABSTRACT This study examines the public policy rationale for the minimum distribution requirement that requires private foundations to spend at least 5 percent of their assets on charitable purposes. The study explicitly models an objective function that the government tries to maximize and a population of heterogeneous contributors that care about both distributions to charity and assets under their control. An increase in the minimum distribution requirement increases the rate of charitable distributions from some foundations, but deters other contributors from forming foundations. The level of the minimum distribution requirement reflects a trade-off between these two effects.

Abstract:
The government has indeed provided legal protection and certainty to indigenous peoples regarding their ulayat lands, through a Ministerial Regulation. However, it needs to be studied more deeply about the concept of communal rights to land and Pakraman village as the subject of communal rights holders on land. Communal rights to land are conceptualized as models of land rights that have just been raised in the national land law system. The consequence is that indigenous and tribal peoples as communal rights holders are authorized to use and benefit from their communal land. Pakraman village qualifies as a subject of communal rights to land because Pakraman village in Bali is classified into the community of the community, has a system of customary government referred to as the traditional prajuru led by a customary village leader. Then Pakraman village has a legal area called the Palemahan Pakraman village. As an instrument that regulates the life and social interaction of the community, awig-awig is the customary law of the community in a Pakraman village in Bali.

Residuals play an important role in checking model adequacy and in the identi cation of outliers and in uential observations. In this paper, we studied two class of residuals for the zero adjusted gamma regression model (ZAGA) and the zero adjusted inverse Gaussian regression model (ZAIG). These classes of residuals are function of a residual for the continuous component of the model and the maximum likelihood estimate of the probability of the observation assuming the zero value. Monte Carlo simulation studies are performed to examine the properties of this class of residuals in both models (ZAGA and ZAIG). Results showed that a residual of one of these class has some similar properties to the standard normal distribution in the studied models. We also described ZAGA and ZAIG regression models, studied properties of some residuals in generalized linear models with response gamma and inverse Gaussian and discussed other aspects of diagnostic analysis in ZAGA and ZAIG models. To nsih, we presented a real dataset application from investment funds of Brazil. We tted the ZAIG model to illustrate the topics discussed and showed the importance of these models and the advantages of one of the studied residuals in the analysis of real dataset.
Resíduos desempenham um papel importante na veri cação do ajuste do modelo e na identi cação de observações discrepantes e/ou in uentes. Neste trabalho, estudamos duas classes de resíduos para os modelos de regressão gama in acionados no zero (ZAGA) e gaussiana inversa in acionados no zero (ZAIG). Essas classes de resíduos são uma função de um resíduo para o componente contínuo do modelo e da estimativa de máxima verossimilhança da probabilidade da observação assumir o valor zero. Estudos de simulação de Monte Carlo foram realizados para examinar as propriedades dessas classes de resíduos em ambos os modelos de regressão (ZAGA e ZAIG). Os resultados mostraram que um resíduo de uma dessas classes tem algumas propriedades semelhantes à da distribuição normal padrão nos modelos estudados. Além desse objetivo principal, descrevemos os modelos de regressão ZAGA e ZAIG, estudamos propriedades de alguns resíduos em modelos lineares generalizados com resposta gama e gaussiana inversa e discutimos outros aspectos de análise de diagnóstico nos modelos ZAGA e ZAIG. Para nalizar, foi feita uma aplicação com dados reais de fundos de investimentos, em que ajustamos o modelo ZAIG, para exempli car os tópicos discutidos e mostrar a importância desses modelos e as vantagens de um dos resíduos estudados na análise de dados reais.

O presente estudo propõe um modelo das Atas do Conselho Universitário da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro a partir do estudo de sua estrutura e da identificação de seus principais componentes, analisando-se a importância da transformação destes documentos em documentos digitais e o seu papel na memória institucional e nos processos de gestão da Universidade. Utiliza-se como base teórica principalmente a literatura da área da Ciência da Informação, em especial Organização do Conhecimento, com aportes da Ciência da Computação, em especial Modelos Conceituais. A criação deste modelo, representado por um diagrama entidade-relacionamento, explicitando a estrutura das atas, associado à criação de um vocabulário e taxonomias dos seus principais conceitos, contribui para que estes documentos de fundamental importância para a Universidade possam ser gerados de uma forma padronizada permitindo a recuperação inteligente das informações ali depositadas, usufruindo dos conceitos e das tecnologias que suportam a Web Semântica.
From a study of the structure and identification of main elements of the proceedings of University Council of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, a model is proposed. The importance of making proceedings digitally available is analyzed, as well as their role in institutional memory and also in University management processes. The study uses theoretical basis mainly from the field of Information Sciences, in particular Organization of Knowledge, and also contributions from Computer Science, especially Conceptual Models. The creation of the model, represented by an Entity–Relationship diagram, explains the structure of the proceedings, associated to the construction of a vocabulary and taxonomy with its main concepts. Being of fundamental importance for the administration of the University, the possibility of having proceedings in a standard format contributes to a smart retrieval, using concepts and technologies that support the Semantic Web.

O objetivo geral do presente estudo foi investigar os efeitos do treinamento sobre as respostas fisiológicas, bioquímicas e autonômicas de nadadores submetidos ao nado atado aplicado por seis semanas com carga equiparada. No entanto para contemplar o estudo foram necessários ser realizado previamente um estudo piloto e estudo 1, os quais objetivaram observar as respostas agudas das respostas fisiológicas, bioquímicas e autonômicas. Ao total dos estudos foram utilizados 31 nadadores os quais foram submetidos a teste incremental para determinar o limiar anaeróbio (LAN), posteriormente foram realizadas sessões agudas e treinamento de seis semanas em diferentes zonas de intensidade as quais foram determinadas a partir do %LAN. Sendo os participantes alocados em dois grupos, GZ1 (treinamento em nado atado realizado em Z1[abaixo do LAN]) e GZ2 (treinamento em nado atado realizado em Z2[na intensidade do LAN]) e treinamento em Z3 (acima do LAN) foi idêntico para os dois grupos. Foram determinados os valores de variabilidade da frequência cardíaca (VFC), percepção subjetiva do esforço (PSE) e de desempenho realizados através de esforço de 200m e velocidade de teste de 30min (T30). A PSE apresentou-se sensível em verificar diferentes zonas de treinamento e mesmo quanto utilizada para quantificar cargas de treinamento ainda assim foi sensível. A VFC mostrando-se uma ferramenta interessante no treinamento de natação, além de ser de baixo custo, de fácil aplicação, foi capaz de identificar diferentes zonas de treinamento. No estudo piloto e estudo 1, os quais utilizaram sessões agudas de treinamento a intensidade foi a principal responsável pelos resultados encontrados em contra partida, no efeito crônico de seis semanas o volume parece ser o fator chave para a melhora no desempenho dos atletas que treinaram na intensidade abaixo do LAN
The overall objective of this study was to investigate the effects of training on the physiological , biochemical and autonomic responses of swimmers underwent tethered swim applied for six weeks with equivalent load. Previously a pilot study and Study 1 , which aimed to observe the acute responses of physiological , biochemical and autonomic responses were required . A total of 31 studies which swimmers underwent an incremental test to determine the anaerobic threshold ( LAN ) , later acute sessions and six weeks training were held in different intensity zones which were determined from the LAN % were used . And participants are divided into two groups , GZ1 ( tethered swimming training conducted in Z1 [ LAN below ] ) and GZ2 ( tied swim training conducted in Z2 [ intensity LAN ] ) and training Z3 (over LAN ) was identical for both groups. Resumo: O objetivo geral do presente estudo foi investigar os efeitos do treinamento sobre as respostas fisiológicas, bioquímicas e autonômicas de nadadores submetidos ao nado atado aplicado por seis semanas com carga equiparada. No entanto para contemplar o estudo foram necessários ser realizado previamente um estudo piloto e estudo 1, os quais objetivaram observar as respostas agudas das respostas fisiológicas, bioquímicas e autonômicas. Ao total dos estudos foram utilizados 31 nadadores os quais foram submetidos a teste incremental para determinar o limiar anaeróbio (LAN), posteriormente foram realizadas sessões agudas e treinamento de seis semanas em diferentes zonas de intensidade as quais foram determinadas a partir do %LAN. Sendo os participantes alocados em dois grupos, GZ1 (treinamento em nado atado realizado em Z1[abaixo do LAN]) e GZ2 (treinamento em nado atado realizado em Z2[na intensidade do LAN]) e treinamento em Z3 (acima do LAN) foi idêntico para os dois grupos. Foram determinados os valores de variabilidade da frequência cardíaca (VFC), percepção subjetiva do esforço (PSE) e de desempenho realizados através de esforço de 200m e velocidade de teste de 30min (T30). A PSE apresentou-se sensível em verificar diferentes zonas de treinamento e mesmo quanto utilizada para quantificar cargas de treinamento ainda assim foi sensível. A VFC mostrando-se uma ferramenta interessante no treinamento de natação, além de ser de baixo custo, de fácil aplicação, foi capaz de identificar diferentes zonas de treinamento. No estudo piloto e estudo 1, os quais utilizaram sessões agudas de treinamento a intensidade foi a principal responsável pelos resultados encontrados em contra partida, no efeito crônico de seis semanas o volume parece ser o fator chave para a melhora no desempenho dos atletas que treinaram na intensidade abaixo do LAN
Abstract: The overall objective of this study was to investigate the effects of training on the physiological , biochemical and autonomic responses of swimmers underwent tethered swim applied for six weeks with equivalent load. Previously a pilot study and Study 1 , which aimed to observe the acute responses of physiological , biochemical and autonomic responses were required . A total of 31 studies which swimmers underwent an incremental test to determine the anaerobic threshold ( LAN ) , later acute sessions and six weeks training were held in different intensity zones which were determined from the LAN % were used . No modelo de natação para ratos, a associação das intensidades de exercício determinadas por meio da lactacidemia com as suas respectivas sobrecargas são passíveis de crítica, uma vez que a quantificação dos pesos atados ao animal pode não representar efetivamente o esforço real do animal para sua manutenção na superfície da água, devido a esta metodologia sofrer influência da densidade corporal e dos padrões de nado apresentados pelos animais. O principal objetivo desse estudo foi desenvolver um modelo de natação atada para roedores o qual permitiu a determinação direta e em tempo real da força de nado realizada pelo animal e verificar a possível existência de diferentes padrões de nado. Além disso, foi feita a discriminação da densidade corporal em animais controles e induzidos à obesidade, com intuito de destacar consistentemente a influência da flutuabilidade na natação. Foram utilizados 24 rattus norvegicus albinus, machos, com 150 dias de idade, divididos em animais controles e induzidos à obesidade por meio da redução de ninhada somada a uma dieta hiperlipídica. Os animais tiveram a densidade corporal determinada por meio de um aparato de pesagem hidrostática utilizando um sistema de aquisição de dados. Posteriormente todos os ratos foram avaliados no teste de máxima fase estável de lactato adaptado para natação atada. Por meio do modelo experimental de indução a obesidade, foi possível induzir aumento significativo do peso e volume corporal, alem da redução da densidade corporal dos animais no grupo obeso. As avaliações de animais controles e obesos revelaram a influência significativa da densidade corporal na determinação das intensidades de exercício, principalmente quando as cargas foram expressas em valores absolutos. In the swimming model for rats, the association between the blood lactate concentration with the exercise intensity could be criticized once the workload quantification could not represent effectively the effort performed by the rat to keep himself on the surface, due to it be affected by the body density and the swimming patterns present by the animals. Thus, the mainly objective of this study was develop a apparatus for tethered swimming for rats, that allows the monitoring of swimming force during all exercise time and to verify the existence of different sorts of swimming patterns. 24 male rattus novergicus albinus, with 150 days of age were used, divided in control and obese induced animals by a nest reduction and hyper-lipid diet. All animals had their body density determined by hydrostatic weighing with an acquiring data device. Later the animals were evaluated in maximal lactate steady state test adapted to the tethered swimming. Was possible to induce significant weight and body volume increase in the obese group beside the reduction of the body density. The assessment of control and obese animals reveled significant body density influence in the workload determination, mainly when the workload was expressed in absolute values. Tethered swimming model allowed the investigation of statistic parameters of the data signal, which showed that the signal amplitude varied in function of the intensity, however the dispersion did not. Also the visual analyses of the force kinetic allowed the identification of 4 swimming patterns and the speculation about the reason and consequences of it incidence. Therefore animals that present such swimming patterns which can influence the assessment should be removed from the sample. Este estudo parte da hipótese de que, mesmo em setores de gestão pública, é possível haver privilégios de alguns segmentos em detrimento de outros, comprometendo o direito igualitário e democrático da participação. Com base nessa hipótese, nosso objetivo é compreender como se dá a dinâmica da participação dos conselheiros que representam diferentes segmentos sociais dentro do conselho de política cultural de Minas Gerais (CONSEC) e o processo de efetivação de suas vozes por meio de registros oficiais. Para alcançar esse objetivo, será apresentada, de forma sistemática, a análise de seis atas de reuniões do conselho de política cultural de Minas Gerais (CONSEC), com base em contribuições teóricas e metodológicas de um modelo de análise discursiva, o Modelo de Análise Modular do Discurso. Nesta pesquisa, esse modelo permitiu uma análise sob o ponto de vista dos módulos interacional, sintático, referencial e hierárquico, bem como da forma de organização elementar enunciativa e da forma de organização complexa polifônica. Como resultados, verificamos que, de acordo com os registros nas atas, não há igualdade participativa entre os segmentos do CONSEC, fato que compromete a função democrática desse conselho.
This study starts from the assumption that, even in public administration sectors, there may be some segments privileges over others, jeopardizing the egalitarian and democratic right of participation. Based on this assumption, our goal is to understand how is the dynamic participation of the directors representing such segments within the cultural policy of the board of Minas Gerais (CONSEC) and the process of realization of their voices though official records. To achieve this goal, will be presented in a systematic way, the analysis of six minutes of meetings of cultural policy council Minas Gerais (COSEC), based on theoretical and methodological contributions of a discourse analysis model, the Modular Analysis Model Discourse. In this research, this model allowed na analysis from the perpective of interactional modules, syntactic, and hierarchical framework, as well as the form of enunciation elementar organization and from of polyphonic complex organization. As a result, we find that, according to the records in the minutes, there is no participatory equality between segments CONSEC, a fact that undermines the democratic function of this council.

In this sense and assuming the acquired knowledge that the society of this period was still strongly influenced by Christian Doctrine and Spirituality, it was questioned what would be the profile of the women, what would be the criteria of exemplarity and the behaviors defended by the Catholic Church, post-Trent, so that Women would live following their Faith. Therefore, being the hagiographic literature one of the main methods used, in the Early Modern Age, to teach and educate the population in the Christian tradition, it aims to assess the main characteristics of the Portuguese feminine models and the main behavioural models and virtues expected for Portuguese Women in the 17th and 18th centuries, through the Agiológio Lusitano.

Dalam pengoperasian kapal ditemukan banyak pekerjaan berat yang beresiko terhadap keselamatan awak kapal. Dalam skripsi ini penulis mengamati aspek keselamatan kerja awak kapal di atas kapal MT. Surya Chandra. Selama penulis melaksanakan praktek laut di atas kapal MT. Surya Chandra, penulis seringkali menemukan pelanggaran pelanggaran yang dilakukan oleh beberapa awak kapal yang tidak mematuhi perturan tentang prosedur diatas kapal. Beberapa kali pun sering terjadi kecelakaan kecelakaan yang diakibatkan kelalaian dan ketidaktaatan awak kapal dalam menjalankan prosedur keselamatan kerja Dengan dasar seperti itu penulis akan memaparkan pengalaman dan ilmu yang diperoleh selama di kapal pada saat praktek laut dan dalam skripsi ini secara penulis melaksanakan penelitian dengan sifat penelitian yaitu secara metodologi penelitian kualitatif , yakni penulis lebih menggunakan teknik analisis, mengkaji masalah secara khusus dengan cara menuliskan kendala-kendala dalam penerapan penggunaan alat keselamatan kerja guna menghindari kecelakaan di atas kapal pada saat melaksanakan praktek laut di atas kapal MT. Keakuratan data menjadi sesuatu yang sangat penting dalam berbagai segi kehidupan, terutama bagi kalangan akademisi maupun praktisi. Data diolah untuk dijadikan sebagai sumber informasi. Cara atau metode pengolahan data banyak dikenal dengan sebutan metode statistika. Di kalangan akademisi, telah banyak dikenal program komputer untuk pengolahan data statistik, di antaranya adalah SPSS dan R untuk mengolah data penelitian yang dilakukan. Alat penghitung dan pengolah data yang efisien menjadi kebutuhan utama bagi peneliti guna memperoleh hasil analisis yang tepat dan cepat terutama dalam penarikan kesimpulan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi analisis statistik berbasis android untuk menganalisis data menggunakan uji-t 2 sampel independen. Aplikasi ini dibangun menggunakan alur model waterfall. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah aplikasi statistika yang dapat mengolah data dengan kemampuannya memberikan sebuah kesimpulan berbentuk deskripsi kalimat berdasarkan hipotesis yang ditentukan. Dengan demikian, pengguna tidak perlu lagi menafsirkan sendiri hasil analisis data yang dilakukan. Hal ini sangat membantu pengguna dalam menyimpulkan atas kondisi data yang diolah tanpa melakukan interpretasi hasil analisis datanya, sehingga dapat mempercepat pekerjaan olah data dan terhindar dari kesalahan pemaknaan terhadap hasil analisis data.

Ascending thoracic aortic aneurysm (aTAA) is a pathological condition with a high risk of dissection and rupture. Clinically, management of aTAA balances the risk of rupture with that of surgery-related complications. The risk of aneurysm rupture is known to correlate with aneurysm diameter. 1,2 Aneurysms greater than 6 cm in diameter have a significantly higher risk of rupture. 1 Current guidelines for intervention suggest surgical intervention for aTAA diameters greater than 5.5cm for patients without connective tissue disorders. 1

Alih guna lahan dan perubahan iklim merupakan faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kondisi hidrologi di suatu Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS), dan yang dapat mempengaruhi efektifitas fungsi DASdalam mempertahankan keseimbangan neraca air di tingkat bentang alam. Oleh karena itu pengelolaan DAS yang didukung dengan perencanaan DAS terpadu yang juga mengatur peruntukan dan pemafaatan wilayah sangat diperlukan. Langkah awal dalam perencanaan DAS adalah dengan menilai kondisi fungsi hidrologi DAS tersebut dengat tujuan mengetahui apakah DAS mulai atau telah mengalami degradasi, atau sebaliknya mulai mengalami perbaikan fungsi DAS. Model simulasi seperti model Genriver dapat digunakan menilai kondisi saat ini serta memproyeksikan bagaimana dampak perubahan lahan dan iklim terhadap kondisi hidrologis DAS. Salah satu DAS penting di Jawa Barat adalah DAS Citarum Hulu sebagi bagian dari DAS Citarum yang telah ditetapkan sebagai salah satu DAS prioritas nasional. Kalibrasi model dan analisis sensitivitas menjadi bagian penting untuk mengetahui kelayakan suatu model hidrologi dalam mensimulasikan kondisi DAS, khususnya dalam mengestimasi neraca air di tingkat lansekap. Hasil kalibrasi model GenRiver dengan menggunakan data tahun 2012-2016 menunjukkan bahwa parameterisasi model telah berhasil dan model layak digunakan untuk analisa sensitivitas dan simulasi skenario. Hasil simulasi model, menunjukan bahwa secara rata-rata 37% curah hujan yang jatuh di DAS Citarum Hulu menjadi aliran permukaan (surface flow/run-off), 7% menjadi aliran bawah permukaan (sub-surface flow) dan 20% menjadi aliran dasar (baseflow). Analisa senssitivitas dilakukan dengan menyusun lima skenario tutupan lahan dan tiga skenario curah hujan yang dianggap mewakili berbagai kondisi yang mungkin termasuk kondisi ekstrim: yaitu keseluruhan lahan menjadi area terbuka (ekstrim negatif) dan seluruh lahan menjadi hutan (ekstrim positif). Hasil proyeksi simulasi ekstrim negatif menunjukan bahwa kondisi DAS Citarum Hulu yang terdegradasi dengan dominasi lahan terbuka berpotensi meningkatkan aliran permukaan hingga mencapai 70% dari curah hujan. Sedangkan perbaikan tutupan lahan DAS Citarum hulu dengan reforestasi (skenario ekstrim positif) mampu menurunkan aliran permukaan hingga mencapai 20% dari total curah hujan.
