Abstract:
The Art Gallery Problem (AGP) is a classic problem in computational geometry, introduced in 1973 by Victor Klee. Given a simple polygon 풫 and an integer k , the goal is to decide if there exists a set G of k guards within 풫 such that every point p ∈ 풫 is seen by at least one guard g ∈ G . Each guard corresponds to a point in the polygon 풫, and we say that a guard g sees a point p if the line segment pg is contained in 풫. We prove that the AGP is ∃ ℝ-complete, implying that (1) any system of polynomial equations over the real numbers can be encoded as an instance of the AGP, and (2) the AGP is not in the complexity class NP unless NP = ∃ ℝ. As a corollary of our construction, we prove that for any real algebraic number α, there is an instance of the AGP where one of the coordinates of the guards equals α in any guard set of minimum cardinality. That rules out many natural geometric approaches to the problem, as it shows that any approach based on constructing a finite set of candidate points for placing guards has to include points with coordinates being roots of polynomials with arbitrary degree. As an illustration of our techniques, we show that for every compact semi-algebraic set S ⊆ [0, 1] 2 , there exists a polygon with corners at rational coordinates such that for every p ∈ [0, 1] 2 , there is a set of guards of minimum cardinality containing p if and only if p ∈ S . In the ∃ ℝ-hardness proof for the AGP, we introduce a new ∃ ℝ-complete problem ETR-INV. We believe that this problem is of independent interest, as it has already been used to obtain ∃ ℝ-hardness proofs for other problems.

Tari Topeng Patih is a part of the traditional dance performance art “Wayang Topeng Malangan” with a religious background which grew up around people in Malang City, East Java. Presently, art gallery of Tari Topeng Malangan has been difficult to be found. In addition to the difficulty of finding this art gallery even in the regions of origin, the problems is also about the interest and enthusiastic public, especially teenagers in Malang to learn this dance is still very rare. As a result, this art is slowly deteriorated and increasingly falling by the presence of various modern performances. In regarded to learn Tari Topeng Patih, the conventional learning activities requiring a special place such as a dance studio that is generally located far away from downtown Malang. Thus to overcome this problem is requires an instructional media that can be used as an alternative solution to learn and obtain information about Tari Topeng Patih, one way may be able to use the simulation method by utilizing the technology and education. The results of the design is the interactive media learning and simulation for basic motion of Tari Topeng Patih by using Kinect media.

New Zealanders like to think of themselves as high users of the latest technology. Does this extend to digital imagery in the workplace? Curators at the Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki were surveyed regarding digital image sources, their use and the problems and opportunities they presented. They were found to be keen, adept users, satisfied with their technical and retrieval capabilities, and aware of issues relating to copyright and image storage. Happy with thumbnails in many instances, they employed the skills of the Gallery’s professional photographers when higher quality images were required. Looking at the move from analogue to digital, slide use was found to be negligible but reproductions in books and journals were still a favoured source. Disadvantages were downplayed and the positive impact of digital imagery was stressed.

Abstract:
Until recently, there have been constant calls for a complete revision of the Museum and Art Gallery Support Act. At the center is the argument that the legal definition and conceptual system for museums and art galleries should be corrected. This paper tried to clarify why the legal definition, scope of application, and classification system of museums and art galleries are always and still important issues. The government-wide deregulation stance and the quantitative expansion of cultural facilities at the cultural policy level, which began in earnest in the 1990s, were factors that drove the process of enacting and revising the law. In the process, the policy direction of museums and art galleries, quantitative expansion through deregulation, was established, and active adjustment of the legal definition, scope of application, and classification system became the core strategy of deregulation. In other words, the provisions on the definition, scope, and classification system were repeatedly revised to maximize the effect of quantitative expansion by lowering the threshold of legal boundaries of museums and art galleries as much as possible and expanding the scope as possible. As a result, the problems caused by the revision have been repeatedly pointed out since the 2000s, but the revision for the re-establishment of the conceptual system was considered contrary to deregulation and was not made. And the confusion of the conceptual system in law became and amplified the confusion of reality. Based on existing studies, this paper attempted to problemize the confusion caused by the policy stance of deregulation into specific legal issues.

Abstract:
Every summer, cultural festivals take place all over Morocco, and streets in towns and cities become animated scenes for the articulation of Moroccan contemporary culture. So animated, heterogeneous and pluralistic has this festival scene become that the semiofficial newspaper for the Islamist PJD party has called these street festivals “vectors of decadence” and performing-artist union officials have declared that they feel threatened by the “foreign invasion” of internationally-based diaspora groups. Recently, in a critique of these attitudes, the magazine Telquel reported that they are “sick of the wet-rags of the festival season” that deny “millions of happy festival-goers the occasional…free oasis in the grand cultural desert of Morocco.” Describing the street as an oasis of culture vis-à-vis the desert landscape of Moroccan cultural institutions is not a new trope. In this paper I explore how Moroccan artists have engaged with the potential, promise and problems of art in the street when gallery spaces and museums fail to integrate modern art into a wider Moroccan cultural landscape.

Abstract:
The development of the Internet of things provides a great opportunity for the development of all walks of life, but it also brings many risks in the process, of which the most important thing is the protection of computer network information security. Digital art museums play a great role in viewing, education, and other functions. This article is aimed at analyzing the computer network information security protection problems faced by digital art museums. Analyze the application of the digital art gallery in the computer Internet of things, and combine the different aspects involved in the two parts to carry out experimental analysis and comparison. The difference between the various subjects of the digital art gallery, such as exhibits, writers, and visitors, is to maintain the security of Internet computer information. Introduce the application. The results show that compared with that of fog computing technology and that of edge computing technology, the performance of the Internet of things is generally better, with faster data processing speed, shorter processing time, higher quality, and stronger scalability. But at the same time, it is also facing greater computer network security threats. According to statistics, 83.3% of consumers worry about its usability but people are more concerned about its safety performance. Nearly 87.5% of consumers worry about whether their information will be leaked. When cloud computing technology is applied to digital art museums, how to protect computer network information security is particularly important. Based on the traditional firewall, this paper designs a hybrid firewall, which can better solve the problem of computer network information security.

Abstract:The return of works of art by museums to nations of origin has generated considerable scholarly response, yet there has been little engagement with the potential role museums could have as responsible stewards for works of art that are at risk. One important example can be seen in the actions of the Menil Foundation. The Menil, with the permission of the Church of Cyprus, conserved a series of frescoes and created a purpose-built gallery on the Menil campus in Houston to safely house them. It was a novel solution to the problems caused by the situation in Cyprus. Acquiring and saving these thirteenth century frescoes gives an important template for the rescue and conservation of works of art that are at risk, but also exposes similarly-situated actors to the moral dilemma of purchasing looted art with the consent of the original owner.

Abstract:
In the actual face recognition applications, the sample sets are updated constantly. However, most of the face recognition models with learning strategy do not consider this fact and using a fixed training set to learn the face recognition models for once. Besides that, the testing samples are discarded after the testing process is completed. Namely, the training and testing processes are separated and the later does not give a feedback to the former for better recognition results. To attenuate these problems, this paper proposed an online sparse learning method for face recognition. It can update the salience evaluation vector in real time to construct a dynamical facial feature description model. Also, a strategy for updating the gallery set is proposed in this proposed method. Both the dynamical facial feature description model and the gallery set are employed to recognize faces. Experimental results show that the proposed method improves the face recognition accuracy, comparing with the classical learning models and other state-of-the-art face recognition methods.

Abstract:
Image set matching (ISM) has attracted increasing attention in the field of computer vision and pattern recognition. Some studies attempt to model query and gallery sets under a joint or collaborative representation framework, achieving impressive performance. However, existing models consider only the competition and collaboration among gallery sets, neglecting the inter-instance relationships within the query set which are also regarded as one important clue for ISM. In this paper, inter-instance relationships within the query set are explored for robust image set matching. Specifically, we propose to represent the query set instances jointly via a combined dictionary learned from the gallery sets. To explore the commonality and variations within the query set simultaneously to benefit the matching, both low rank and class-level sparsity constraints are imposed on the representation coefficients. Then, to deal with nonlinear data in real scenarios, the`kernelized version is also proposed. Moreover, to tackle the gross corruptions mixed in the query set, the proposed model is extended for robust ISM. The optimization problems are solved efficiently by employing singular value thresholding and block soft thresholding operators in an alternating direction manner. Experiments on five public datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method, comparing favorably with state-of-the-art methods.

Abstract:
Summary By analysing the careers of internationally recognized artists from Lithuania and the relationship between Lithuanian contemporary artists and art galleries and museums, the author explores the challenges faced by today’s artists and hypothetically underlines the principles that could be useful for them in seeking to enter into the global art scene. The essay analyses the lack of cooperation between artists and galleries, and the representation of artists in Lithuanian museums, which is considered to be the base of a contemporary artist’s career. The essay assesses the influence of the main participants in the art market upon artists’ careers, by investigating the Lithuanian art market’s position after the restoration of independence in 1990. Twenty Lithuanian artists, major galleries or representatives of museums (such as the National Art Gallery and the MO Museum, formerly known as the Modern Art Centre) were interviewed for the purposes of this study. This examination of the Lithuanian art market reveals the peculiarities that artists have encountered, and could help international art market players to better understand the problems that the Lithuanian art market is facing. The author seeks to identify the main factors helping artists to navigate the global art scene and the global art market.

A watchman, in the terminology of art galleries, is a mobile guard. We consider several watchman and guard problems for different classes of polygons. We introduce the notion of vision spans along a path or route which provide a natural connection between the art gallery problem, the m-watchmen routes problem and the watchman route problem. We prove that finding the minimum number of vision points, i.e., static guards, along a shortest watchman route is NP-hard. We provide a linear time algorithm to compute the best set of static guards in a histogram polygon. The m-watchmen routes problem, minimize total length of routes for m watchmen, is NP-hard for simple polygons. We give a Θ(n3+n2m2)-time algorithm to compute the best set of m watchmen in a histogram.

Abstract:
Summary The most common technological device found in organisations of cultural heritage is a handheld guide. This device can simultaneously perform several functions, and its integration in permanent expositions has significance both for the operation of organisations of cultural heritage and experience of visitors when they visit a museum or a gallery. It should be noted that art museums and galleries encounter a task to present often static and difficult to understand at first sight works of art in an interesting fashion. Therefore, in this study, the main functions of a handheld guide as a technological device as well as its benefits, problems, and application in art museums are analysed. In the first part of the study, various functions of handheld guides, their importance, the meaning produced for the organisation of cultural heritage, and experience of a visitor are analysed based on scientific literature. Problems of integration of handheld guides and strategic steps that should be taken to ensure a successful integration process are reviewed. In the second part, four cases of Lithuanian art museums are presented. All museums that participated in the survey were analysed by collecting observational data, communicating with the managers of the organisations, and analysing the experience of museum visitors using the handheld guide. Scientific literature presented in the article substantiates the importance of handheld guides in museums and possible problems of integration of such devices. The study conducted in Lithuanian art museums reveals the fact that handheld guides are significant devices that help improve the experience of a museum visitor, but it is also observed that handheld guides have not yet become an integral part of a visit to a Lithuanian art museum.

Existing methods used for evaluating the relative chronology of the parts of petroglyphic palimpsests are discussed, and a new approach is proposed, combining high-resolution three-dimensional visualization at the macro-level with traceological analysis. We focus on the characteristics of the pecked surface in the area outside the palimpsest and that in the overlap zone. The comparison of these parts makes it possible to reveal the traceologically informative features in the palimpsest areas, indicating the sequence of superimposed petroglyphs. This approach is instantiated by the analysis of one of the palimpsests in the Shalabolino rock gallery, the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Images representing various stylistic traditions are found in complicated stratigraphic relations. The sequence of three main fi gures (bear, bull, and elk) in this multilayered composition has been reconstructed. The results of the analysis cannot be used as an argument for attributing these petroglyphs to vastly different chronological periods. Rather, they provide new information relevant to the debate around the age of the Angara and Minusinsk petroglyphic styles in the Minusinsk Basin.

Abstract:
In his book Awangarda w cieniu Jałty (In the Shadow of Yalta: Art and the Avant-garde in Eastern Europe, 1945–1989), Piotr Piotrowski mentioned that Polish and Czechoslovakian artists were not working in mutual isolation and that they had opportunities to meet, for instance at the Arguments 1962 exhibition in Warsaw in 1962. The extent, nature and intensity of artistic contacts between Poland and Czechoslovakia during their coexistence within the Eastern bloc still remain valid research problems. The archives of the National Museum in Warsaw and the Zachęta – National Gallery of Art which I have investigated yield information on thirty-fi ve exhibitions of art produced in Czechoslovakia that took place in Warsaw in the period of the People’s Republic of Poland. The current essay focuses on exhibitions organised in the late 1940s. The issue of offi cial cultural cooperation between Poland and Czechoslovakia was regulated as early as in the fi rst years after the war. Institutions intended to promote the culture of one country in the other one and associations for international cooperation were established soon after. As early as in 1946, the National Museum in Warsaw hosted an exhibition entitled Czechoslovakia 1939–1945. In 1947 the same museum showed Contemporary Czechoslovakian Graphic Art. A few months after “Victorious February”, i.e. the coup d’état carried out by the Communists in Czechoslovakia in early 1948, the Young Czechoslovakian Art exhibition opened at the Young Artists and Scientists’ Club, a Warsaw gallery supervised by Marian Bogusz. It showed the works of leading artists of the post-war avant-garde, and their authors were invited to the vernissage. Nine artists participated in both exhibitions, i.e. at the National Museum and at the Young Artists and Scientists’ Club. A critical analysis of art produced in one country of the Eastern bloc as exhibited in another country of that bloc enables an art historian to outline a section of the complex history of artistic life. Archival research yields new valuable materials that make it impossible to reduce the narration to a simple opposition contrasting the avant-garde with offi cial institutions.

Products that had been sold nationally but had not well known to many other Indonesian consumers due to there is no product brand. The daily activities of this art gallery cultivate traditional music. This community services is carried out with a focus on solving partner problems by providing appropriate science and technology for the local community, especially for the management of the Studio. The method of making traditional musical instruments is still not optimal so that the resulting sound quality is not correctly produced. Science and technology has been given to partners related to production and marketing techniques that have been carried out. We also provided online marketing strategies to assist the online marketing activities of the Huta Gabe Aeksorseang studio. Technical equipment is also provided to help partners improve product quality and product competitiveness with lower production costs. Heavy equipment such as welding machines in the area makes production costs high. With the help of the equipment provided, partners will be more efficient in production, thereby increasing partner competitiveness.

Abstract:
Australia has traditionally adopted a Eurocentric outlook which has begun to be modified in the last decade by reappraisal of the country’s location in the Asia-Pacific region. The Australian National Gallery has only recently developed its collections of the textiles of South and Southeastern Asia and of related research materials, yet it already accommodates the world’s leading public collection of Indian textiles exported to Southeast Asia. Acquisition of both contemporary and antiquarian library materials has been complicated by the range of languages and cultures involved, the history of the textile trade, colonial publishing, and the problems encountered in dealing with a varying degree of organisation in local publishing and distribution. Nonetheless, with patience, as a result of travelling, by means of networking, and with the help of distributors, it has proved possible to build a worthwhile collection without depending too exclusively on Western publications.

Abstract:
When people enter the gallery of contemporary art, they are met with interactive projections which fill up the room, react to the observer and take them on new adventures. Programmers, animators, architects, musicians, draftsmen, graphic artists, and engineers participate in this kind of works of art as co-creators of the work. The classic notion that an artist is someone who can draw or paint beautiful is misguided in modern art. Today the so-called artists are people who use all their knowledge and skills at their disposal to convey their message or view of the world. Art has always reflected the time in which it was created. So how do we include content in art lessons that require students to develop competencies they will need in the 21st century? Animated film as a style of artistic expression is not exactly modern but is something new in the curriculum of fine arts. I tried different techniques and procedures to teach students the concepts of creating animations. From drawn animation, stop-motion animation to computer animation. The latter has many production methods and procedures, but I think combining animation and programming the students can achieve many goals and competencies necessary for their future lives or careers. The student has to understand how the animation is created, and plan how to implement the programming code to display their wishes. Programming develops logical thinking, which allows children to break down complex problems into smaller and more manageable ones which are easier to solve. My goal for the students is they learn to use construction knowledge, collaboration, communication, and ICT in art classes and additionally learn how to program. The purpose of the paper is to present the artistic accomplishments of Katarzyna Kozyra as a representative of critical art in the context of her position in the art field. The analysis was expanded to her relationship with the audience, based on a chain of artistic communication exemplified by the Nude Study sculpture of 1991. In March 2021, a study on the reception of modern artworks was carried out in the Zachęta Gallery in Warsaw. The respondents were asked to view and to interpret, among others, the Nude Study by Katarzyna Kozyra of 1991. To confront the general understanding of the work and to verify the efficiency of artistic communication, a free-form interview with the artist was also carried out, where she presented her own interpretation of the study. The artist’s responses and opinions of the audience became the research material quoted here. The analysis disclosed consistency of the message and even though the answers did not overlap closely with the artist’s intention, they were fully accepted by her. The interview also offered an impetus for reflecting on the position of the artist in the art field and her relationship with the agents in the field. It turns out that the artist is clearly dominated by the political field which affects her functioning in the art field. The results above may offer an inspiration for further research on the creative activities of other artists, who may struggle with completely different problems and create different layouts in the art field.1

Abstract:
The aim of the article is to define the role of mural art as a part of street art in the context of the cultural urban space. Identification of mural art in cities, its transformation depending on the place of creation and changes in the perception of the viewer requires needs research that is more detailed. А lot of people do not distinguish between concepts in street art; do not understand the artistic value of murals. Therefore, it is useful to show all functions, which murals can have. The quantity and quality of murals in the urban space affects its reputation, culture, development trends. That is, murals can both spoil urban visions and aestheticize them. Murals often engine enrichment of human consciousness, because artists raise important social issues, motivate the viewer to think. They try to turn the city into a large gallery, to influence people who involuntarily become spectators and connoisseurs of street art. It is also appropriate to explore the trends of Ukrainian muralism in the urban space. After all, street art has become very popular in Ukraine, as evidenced we can see various thematic festivals and competitions. The research methodology involves an interdisciplinary approach, analysis of scientific works of cultural and art history, review of thematic media and creative work of street artists to determine the characteristics and purposes of their activities. The works of modern Ukrainian researchers who study the issues of the cultural space of the city, mural art and street art in general are involved. The scientific novelty lies in the study of the influence of mural art on personal perception on drawing attention to socio-political problems in the urban context. On the example of the analysis of works of world street artists the tendency to social and educational function of murals, instead of simply aesthetic, is traced. The practical significance of the study is to emphasize that murals have artistic value, a unique semantic message, and are not just a means of aestheticization. The article can be useful for specialists in culturology, history, art history, architecture and for artists.

Abstract:
The purpose of this work is to contribute to the continuous growth of the art world (Street Art in particular) and to discuss how it is essential for the discovery of artists. These artists have been pioneers and forerunners of new pictorial techniques, freeing creative and psychological flair, and combining the latter with the artistic technology that promises great things despite limited materials. The intention of this article is to consider the elements of artistic expression that are less commonly subject to discussion, such as the world of Street Art. This form of artwork has not always been understood or accepted, with street artists waiting for the opportune moment to express the narrative, experiences, and emotions of society through their artwork, a power that unites sentiment and encourages change. It is art which affects the community, the population and society. It is designed above all others to become part of the collective memory through violence of image and colour. This project led me to come into contact with one of the many artistic artefacts of the Street Art movement, the Keith Haring’s mural in Amsterdam, a piece that makes me. understand and appreciate the problems inherent to these type of works, simple, synthetic, but never simplistic. Therefore, a project, a study and a restoration hypothesis were conducted on one of the many works by Haring. The purpose of this was to shed light once again on the mural made in 1986 by the artist, situated in the Groothandeles Market of Amsterdam. No longer visible for thirty years, the mural was covered by insulation panels placed two years after its creation. With professors Antonio Rava and William Shank, the association Keith Haring Foundation of New York, the Stedelijk Museum of Amsterdam, in collaboration with the gallery Vroom & Varossieau, specialised in road art, on 8 June, the large metal sheet panels were removed and one of the greatest murals by Haring could once again be admired.

Abstract:
In the context of tourism, supporting facilities such as shops / souvenir businesses has a strategic position in its existence, because it is ‘secondary travel needs’. This secondary travel needs are produced and marketed by a an art studio called Nggara Simbelin art studio located in Lingga village. This art studio is the supporting for tourism existence in the Karo District to date, which has been providing souvenirs based on wood, however this souvenir business has various problems. One of which is marketing,it is weak so that it sometimes results in a build-up of goods of those souvenir in the warehouse. During the 4.0 industrial revolution, information is not only as needs however it has become a primary need for millennials today, and nature and local creativity are highly valued interests for tourists. Therein lies the opportunity, where in this research will be packed as an advertisment in the form of a film teaser to support business marketing souvenir so that it can become a commodity information for millennial tourists who visited tourist sites in the Karo District. The movie teaser is expected to increase sales of souvenir products made from wood from Nggara Simbelin art studio in Lingga Village. This study uses the science of phenomenology, participant observation techniques, with data analysis: (1) data reduction; (2) presentation data; and (3) drawing conclusions / verification. The making of tourism films in this study uses 2 theories, a secondary theory, namely: the theory of film making with 3 working indicators: pre-production, production and postproduction of films, while the primary theory is: film theory as a tourism promotion media with 4 working indicators: color, features, properties and ratios. The results of the application of the seven working indicators of the theory produces a true tourism film as a tourism promotion media. From this research, the next study we will examine how is the impact of this advertisment on the sale of wooden souvenirs for the Nggara Simbelin art gallery.

Abstract:
Face recognition using a single reference image per subject is challenging, above all when referring to a large gallery of subjects. Furthermore, the problem hardness seriously increases when the images are acquired in unconstrained conditions. In this paper we address the challenging Single Sample Per Person (SSPP) problem considering large datasets of images acquired in the wild, thus possibly featuring illumination, pose, face expression, partial occlusions, and low-resolution hurdles. The proposed technique alternates a sparse dictionary learning technique based on the method of optimal direction and the iterative ℓ 0 -norm minimization algorithm called k-LiMapS. It works on robust deep-learned features, provided that the image variability is extended by standard augmentation techniques. Experiments show the effectiveness of our method against the hardness introduced above: first, we report extensive experiments on the unconstrained LFW dataset when referring to large galleries up to 1680 subjects; second, we present experiments on very low-resolution test images up to 8 × 8 pixels; third, tests on the AR dataset are analyzed against specific disguises such as partial occlusions, facial expressions, and illumination problems. In all the three scenarios our method outperforms the state-of-the-art approaches adopting similar configurations.

Abstract:
A set [Formula: see text] for the graph [Formula: see text] is called a dominating set if any vertex [Formula: see text] has at least one neighbor in [Formula: see text]. Fomin et al. [Combinatorial bounds via measure and conquer: Bounding minimal dominating sets and applications, ACM Transactions on Algorithms (TALG) 5(1) (2008) 9] gave an algorithm for enumerating all minimal dominating sets with [Formula: see text] vertices in [Formula: see text] time. It is known that the number of minimal dominating sets for interval graphs and trees on [Formula: see text] vertices is at most [Formula: see text]. In this paper, we introduce the domination cover number as a new criterion for evaluating the dominating sets in graphs. The domination cover number of a dominating set [Formula: see text], denoted by [Formula: see text], is the summation of the degrees of the vertices in [Formula: see text]. Maximizing or minimizing this parameter among all minimal dominating sets has interesting applications in many real-world problems, such as the art gallery problem. Moreover, we investigate this concept for different graph classes and propose some algorithms for finding the domination cover number in trees and block graphs.

Abstract:
The purpose of the current study is to investigate a special case of art gallery problem, namely a sculpture garden problem. In this problem, for a given polygon P, the ultimate goal is to place the minimum number of guards (landmarks) to define the interior polygon P by applying a monotone Boolean formula composed of the guards. Using this problem, it can replace the operation-based method with time-consuming, pixel-based algorithms. So, the processing time of some problems in the fields of machine vision, image processing and gamification can be strongly reduced. The problem has also many applications in mobile device localization in the Internet of Things (IoT). An open problem in this regard is the proof of Eppstein’s conjecture, which has remained an open problem since 2007. According to his conjecture, in the worst case, n−2 vertex guards are required to describe any n-gon. In this paper, a lower bound is introduced for the special case of this problem (natural vertex guard), which shows that if a polygon can be defined with natural vertex guards, then n−2 is a lower bound.

Abstract:
The international studio glass movement, which emerged in the 1960s and became an important phenomenon in the recent history of decorative arts, today faces new challenges of today. The movement of studio glass has led to the emergence of a new concept in contemporary art - fine glass, which in recent decades has formed new artistic values. Despite the global nature of the spread of the studio movement, the common vector of the development of art glass in the direction of liberation from industrial dependence poses new requirements and challenges to glass artists, designers, national schools. The desire for imagery and ideology prevails in modern glass. National schools have a clear identity and are distinguished by their own individuality. The International Scientific and Practical Conference-presentation of the creativity of world-famous glass artists “World Studio Glass. Tradition and Experiment” was held within the frames of the XI International Blown Glass Symposium in Lviv. Every three years the artists meet in Lviv, demonstrate their skills on the workshop basis of the only Glass Art Department in Ukraine and tell the public about their experience. Creative meetings took place in the Gallery of Lviv National Academy of Art during the period from October 7 to October 10, 2019. The project was implemented with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Fund. In the reports, delivered during four days of the Conference, the current issues of the contemporary glass art development and professional education, the formation of creative workshops and artistic groups, the roles of festivals, symposiums in the glass art development, the use of new techniques and technologies in postindustrial eraб, were discussed. Generally, the speakers analysed a wide range of problems and phenomena of the studio glass, shared their own observations and considerable researches of individual technological processes. The participants in the Conference touched in their reports on the important issues of culture dialogue, the development of contemporary studio movement, the impact of the latest technologies on traditional methods of processing. Much attention was paid to the discussion of the main tendencies of glass art development. The speakers concentrated on acute challenges of modernity, which glass artists are faced with, and which are, at the same time, universal for all representatives of contemporary decorative art. The range of works is very wide: from small handicrafts to landscape glass, sculptures, performance, installations and so on. The contemporary glass is utilitarian, duplicated works and original author’s projects. This is a constant balancing between the tradition and new experiments, between the genres and kinds of art.

Abstract:
This paper adopts the method of visual characteristics of the double random matrix to conduct in-depth research and analysis on the design of fractal art patterns. For the practical application needs in fractal graphic design, a method is proposed to automatically extract the core base pattern based on fractal graphic content and generate a four-sided continuous pattern. The method first uses the Canny operator for edge detection to analyze the area of the main pattern. Then, it uses a grayscale cogeneration matrix to extract and analyze the graphic texture features, based on which the best splicing method is selected to splice the extracted pattern, and then, it achieves two splicing methods of flat row and staggered four-sided continuous pattern. The method has good practicality with low complexity and high versatility under the premise of ensuring the beauty of the generated four-sided continuous pattern. It can assist designers to design patterns, improve efficiency, and save design costs. In this paper, we improve the existing image segmentation methods, adopt two segmentation methods, namely quadratic tree segmentation and HV segmentation, propose a new local codebook selection strategy, and study the degree of self-adaptation of different methods to images in terms of segmentation methods and local codebook selection strategies. It makes the network unable to train efficiently on long text prediction problems. Finally, the improved algorithm of this paper is tested on the standard and living image libraries, and the experimental results show that the use of local codebooks makes the image coding speed significantly improved compared with the fixed fractal. In the face of the image to be retrieved, it is only necessary to perform the coding operation to obtain the fractal code to perform similarity matching, which can meet the requirement of real-time retrieval. Applying the improved distance formula, the search accuracy obtained on the test gallery is significantly better than that of the grayscale histogram algorithm.

Abstract:
The Rawa Bokor area which is located in Benda District, Tangerang City is directly adjacent to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and the City of Jakarta, so it has great potential to not only improve the image of Tangerang City in the national eye, but also internationally and has the potential to improve the economic conditions of the surrounding population. . From this potential, it can be seen that in the future, the Rawa Bokor Area can become a place to capture transit activities that can support Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. Although it has potential as a transit supporter, the existing condition of the area currently only has accommodation and is not sufficient to accommodate transit activities that are more than just resting, such as a quick exploration container while waiting for flight hours. To respond to these problems, the approach used is the Urban Acupuncture method, with a focus on Urban Tourism. The program concept that is suitable for the characteristics of transit activities in the Rawa Bokor area is Sightseeing Tourism, and uses Biophilic Architecture and Sustainable Building as design references. This is because the Bokor Swamp Area has several other shortcomings, such as insufficient vegetated land, and most buildings in this area are not feasible (not sustainable). The main program produced is the Contemporary Art Gallery and supporting programs such as Local Retail Area, Indoor – Outdoor Spa, and Workspace, which are expected to provide visitors from abroad and within the country a place for exploration, relaxation, rest, and other transit activities. , so as to improve the image of the City of Tangerang, as well as the economic conditions of this area and its surroundings.

Abstract:
ABSTRACTIn 1975 Indonesian contemporary art was believed to be born and marked by the occurrence of the “Black December” event which then initiated the Gerakan Seni Rupa Baru Indonesia. Arts academy also swiftly respond to this phenomenon by putting an art experimentation course as their subject in ITB and ASRI Yogyakarta. Another example was made in 1987, a successful experimental exhibition “Pasaraya Dunia Fantasi” which was held Taman Ismail Marzuki being a headline. It is now four decades the development of experimentation medium celebrated even to other non-art disciplines. Being consider of it the author seeks to bring back the methods of the past that have been adapted to the contexts of today's problems and technological advances. In this research will be a study to develop experimentation model by using some reference logic theory such as design thinking method to produce a work. The development of contemporary art and design has not been widely recognized as an interdisciplinary area that could potentially be developed into a sophisticated and cutting-edge work. In contrast, in some academic and art academic discourses, student’s views are narrowed by thickening the barriers between art and design under the pretext of need capitalization of education. Therefore, the author tries to create a method of designing an experimentation work entitled 'Pseudo Delights'. This work has been previously executed and exhibited at the National Gallery. Pseudo Delight is a performative event specially engineered to respond to today's hyper-reality phenomenon. Where the development of information and mass media is celebrated massively. The rise of many social media applications such as Instagram, the urban communities can celebrate the exclusivity of their lives in a virtual gallery freely. As to convince others about the image of their modern life that is considered successful often the image that appears then contain excessive payload or false sign. Something paradoxical to the advancement of information technology today is presenting a lot of fake images has become the era of the death of information itself.

Abstract:
Abstract This paper discusses corporate entanglement, impactfulness and responsibility in the Anthropocene, amidst events and conditions that ‘uncontain’ time. It takes its direction of travel from artist Brian Jungen’s ‘Cetology’ (2002), a whalebone sculpture made out of cut-up plastic garden chairs, which conjoins the times of earth and world history, as it hangs in the air of the art gallery, ‘as if’ exhibited in the natural history museum. The paper relates ‘Cetology’s’ engagement with natural history, time, and commodification to matters of corporate entanglement and responsibility within company law and governance. Problems with understanding the comparable imprint of large and multinational companies on matters, places, and communities are identified, after the domination of corporate legal frameworks over nature and the stability and perfection of economic incentives at law. The reading of this (critical-legal) situation is developed through theory and engagement with materialist and critical thinkers, who unite in their concern with distributed human–nature relations and the ‘concreteness’ that attends collisions in time, ruin and affect. Walter Benjamin and Theodor Adorno’s writings are central to this analysis, and strengthen the commentary on ‘natural history’ themes curated by Jungen. The paper contemplates how times’ uncontainment might invoke a change in expectation and method for the company law field, assigning contingency to the corporation and provoking a new mode of reflection about corporate entanglement and responsibility at law.
