Abstract:
Excess of matter in form designates the principle that underlies architecture. The surplus of form contains not only a constructive principle, but also an aesthetic principle that enables sensual experience. In the coupling of construction and sensual experience, the basic prerequisites for the aesthetics of architecture are thus named, but at the same time also the difficulties with which architecture is confronted within philosophical aesthetics. For Kant, it was precisely the object character that stood in the way of an architectural aesthetics as part of a general aesthetics. For him, only the architectural drawing, because detached from matter, construction, and function, could meet the criteria of the beautiful, and that only as a façade view and not as a ground plan or sectional drawing. With reference to Aristotle, Kant and Schopenhauer and an outlook on contemporary architecture, the essay outlines the principles of an aesthetics of architecture as it is to be developed out of the specific material conditions of architecture and has its starting point in the surplus of form.

This theoretical study examines the role of aesthetics in the assessment frameworks of sustainable architecture. The article is organized into two main sections: a general literature review and the results. The results section encompasses an analysis of the place of aesthetic quality in the understanding of sustainable architecture, and an overview and discussion of the general sustainable building assessment frameworks and the main sustainable buildings certification systems (LEED, BREEAM, WELL, Living Building Challenge), identifying the existing and potential place of cultural sustainability and aesthetics in them. Finally, four architectural theories holding the potential for balancing human and environmental criteria in the assessment of sustainable architecture are presented. These theories are: sustainability aesthetics, genius loci, biophilia, and a regenerative approach. The conclusion was made that these approaches hold the potential for the breakthrough of aesthetic quality and uniqueness of sustainable architecture.

Abstract:
Islamic architecture, a form of Islamic art, contributes significantly to portraying God Almighty's supremacy. In Islamic art, there are numerous ways to place emphasis on this architecture; one of which is through high aesthetic value. In Islamic art and architecture, the greatest extent of ornamentation and motifs probably describe aesthetic values. Islamic ornamentation serves as a platform for delivering information about Islam's culture including Islamic values and identity. Additionally, the most distinguishing characteristic of Islamic ornamentation is the richness of meaning behind it, that might influence a person's perception of spiritual aesthetics. Therefore, this article explore what spiritual aesthetic means and how it relates to Islamic ornamentation. Furthermore, Islamic ornamentation should be considered a part of the interior of the Islamic architecture rather than just decorations added after the fact or to cover in gaps. Through the interplay of the people and interior space, these ornaments have the potential to engage with human aesthetics. Therefore, this research also focuses on the aesthetics and beauty of ornaments, which satisfy one of human psychological needs: to be in a beautiful environment. Because emphasis of the research is to explore how people perceive the aesthetics of Islamic ornamentation, a semiotics method was chosen because of its capacity to transcend literal meanings. The identification and evaluation of the aesthetic and religious qualities of the Islamic ornamentation brought out in this paper can be very helpful for the artists as well as scholars in understanding the Islamic art. Abstract:
Architecture plays a pivotal role in shaping the built environment and influencing societal development. Aesthetic principles of architecture, technological integration, and skill development are key factors that impact architectural design outcomes and broader societal implications. The purpose of this research is to look into the impact of architectural aesthetic principles on socioeconomic development, public well-being, and architectural modernism, while also looking into the mediating role of technological integration and the moderating role of skill development. A quantitative research approach was adopted, using a cross-sectional design. Data was collected through a structured questionnaire from 375 architects in Guangzhou, representing diverse architectural practices. SPSS was used for descriptive and inferential statistical analyses such as correlation, regression, and mediation analysis. The study revealed a positive relationship between aesthetic principles of architecture and socio-economic development, indicating that aesthetically pleasing designs can foster economic growth and urban development. Moreover, aesthetics significantly influenced public well-being, with thoughtfully designed spaces positively impacting the emotional and psychological well-being of users. Aesthetic principles were found to contribute to architecture modernity, inspiring innovative design practices. Technological integration emerged as a mediator, highlighting its role in translating aesthetic concepts into sustainable design solutions that impact socio-economic development, public well-being, and architecture modernity. Skill development was identified as a moderator, enhancing the integration of aesthetics and technology in architectural design. This study advances the understanding of the interplay between aesthetics, technology, and skill development in architectural practice. The findings offer practical implications for architects, policymakers, and educators, guiding the creation of aesthetically-driven, sustainable, and socially impactful designs. The study contributes to architectural theory and practice, fostering a holistic approach toward the creation of built environments that enhance the quality of life for individuals and promote sustainable development. The use of self-reported data and cross-sectional methods are the potential limitations of the study.

Abstract:
The importance of aesthetics within architecture has a long history. Although evidence suggests that the term was not brought into architectural writing until 17351 , the place of aesthetics can be identified across architectural theory and philosophy since the time of Vitruvius. Developing an aesthetic sensibility was seen as crucial for an architect and the study of architecture was understood through the three Vitruvian lenses (utlitas, firmitas, venustas) one of which, venustas, is directly associated with aesthetics. This paper responds to the current and ongoing discussions between architects, architectural educators and architectural students on the role of aesthetics in architectural education and professional practice today. It was initially inspired by questions raised at the 2017 and 2018 annual conferences of the Society of Architectural Historians (SAH 2017 and 2018) about the role of architectural history in architectural design and practice today, and in line with this, questions about place of aesthetics in architectural education. This paper considers the place of aesthetics in architectural education and provides a detailed overview of the key pedagogical interventions undertaken in one architectural studies programme which might serve as a guide for educators interested in maintaining the place of aesthetics in contemporary architectural education. It suggests that aesthetics can continue to play a key role in the architectural curriculum whilst a focus on design problem-solving and achieving the contemporary educational requirements of accreditation is maintained.

Abstract:
Plosokuning Mosque is the mosque with the most authenticity preserved compared to the other four Pathok Negoro mosques. Therefore, the disclosure of the symbolic value of the architectural aesthetic of the Plosokuning Mosque is a representation of environmental conservation efforts and historical buildings in Indonesia. The research method used was hermeneutics-philosophical with methodical elements: induction-deduction, internal coherence, holistic, historical balance, and heuristics. The methodical elements examined the architecture aesthetical meaning and the symbols attached to Plosokuning Mosque; in line with it, internal relations was searched and discovered, not isolated from the environment and its historical continuity, and then compiled findings about symbolism in the aesthetics of the mosque's architecture. The results showed that symbolism in the architectural aesthetics of the Plosokuning Mosque is an expression of the concept of Javanese cosmology and Javanese Islamic mysticism (Kejawen). In Javanese cosmology, humans are described as a microcosm (jagad cilik), the universe as a macrocosm (jagad gedhe), and the palace as the center of the cosmos. Kejawen is a complex of Javanese Islamic beliefs mixed with previous teachings, particularly Hindu and Buddhist teachings; The Plosokuning Mosque has elements that are integrated together as a symbol of the means for human contemplation towards insan kamil (perfect human). Thus, the top position of human being is makrifatullah (knowing Allah). It can be concluded that the aesthetic architectural related to the religion matter.

Abstract:
In the debate "Architecture and Philosophy / the relations, potentialities and critical points" the notions of "philosophy of architecture" and "aesthetics of architecture" will be discussed. The differences between traditional and contemporary philosophy and aesthetics of architecture will be introduced. In a separate sub-chapter the status of "theory" and "theorizing" during the times of late modernism and postmodern culture will be discussed. It has been pointed to the modalities of theory outside philosophy and aesthetics. The discourses from philosophy, humanities, free theorizing and architectural theories are brought closer together. In the final sub-chapter the status of contemporary philosophy and cotemporary architecture have been discussed. The notion of contemporaneity has been particularly elaborated. The central thesis of this paper is the relation of architecture and philosophy, i.e. the theory constituent for modern, postmodern and contemporary architecture. The derived thesis of the discussion is that critical theory of architecture and architectural yearning for "critical architecture" have acquired exceptional significance at the time of global conflicts and, presently at the time of global economic crisis. The theoretical, aesthetic and philosophical attention has essentially been shifted from the immanent questions about architecture (form, function, spectacularity) to the external i.e. transcendental questions about the culture and society, i.e. about the economy, power, governance, supervision, forms of life, flexibility of architectural production, exchange and consumption.

Abstract:
Since the beginning of the 21st century, a wave of innovative graphic architecture has emerged. However, these architectural works seem to have failed to inherit the profound aesthetics and sense of beauty associated with classical graphic architecture from history. Instead, they often exhibit superficial and exaggerated qualities, sparking widespread debate and criticism. This paper aims to integrate Immanuel Kant's aesthetic critique perspective, as presented in his work "Critique of Judgment," into the discourse on contemporary graphic architecture. By incorporating Kant's analyses and arguments regarding "agreeable," "beauty," and the "sublime" into discussions of contemporary architectural aesthetics, we seek to analyze and compare the similarities and differences between these new graphic architectural works and their classical predecessors. Ultimately, we arrive at the conclusion that these contemporary graphic architectural works, which often appear superficial and clichéd, are not deserving of admiration. At the same time, we propose recommendations for the design of future graphic architecture based on these insights.

Full text
Abstract:
This study investigates how Australian consumers’ aesthetic preferences for timber joints in architectural products are influenced by their sociodemographic characteristics and the visual appearance of the joints. Visual appearance in architecture and product design is a vital factor in consumer response and success of a product; however, designed items are often created without aesthetic research rigour to better understand user acceptance. We see this as an opportunity for greater penetration of aesthetics for designed products and, in this instance, contemporary architecture. We provide extensive literature defining aesthetics and outline the theoretical framework for experimental computer-generated visual stimuli. An online survey was conducted with 114 participants, who rated five timber joints on seven visual appearance attributes. The findings reveal that Joint 1 (angular) and Joint 5 (curved) were the most preferred joints. Employment status was the only sociodemographic factor that significantly affected the aesthetic preference. The findings of the study were used to inform design decisions for building a pagoda in a cemetery in Melbourne. The study contributes to the literature on aesthetics and design by providing empirical evidence on consumer preferences for architectural products. The study also suggests an opportunity to bridge aesthetics with sustainability, as timber is a sustainable material that can be designed to resonate with consumers’ aesthetic sensibilities while adhering to environmental principles.

Abstract:
The paper presents a comment on Jacques Rancière's thinking on architecture as traced in The Politics of Aesthetics and juxtaposed with a case study - 1st Exhibition of Architecture of the People's Poland. The exhibition organized in the era of Stalinism (1953) and shown in the Central Bureau for Artistic Exhibitions (nowadays the Zachęta - National Gallery of Art in Warsaw) is seen as a manifestation of 'artistic regimes' of the period and as aesthetisation of architecture which is commonly considered the most 'political' of all the (fine) arts. Architecture does not seem to be the main concern of The Politics of Aesthetics; most translators and (Polish) commentators of Rancière's philosophical writings draw our attention to the importance of his aesthetics for the relational aspects of contemporary art in public spaces. The article aims at emphasizing the architectural moments in Rancière's project of aesthetics as politics; it also elaborates a couple of notions poiēsis/mimēsis - as discussed by Rancière - in relation to architectural theory and history of architectural exhibitions.

Abstract:
This paper explores the intricate relationship between architecture and taste, focusing on mechanisms that enable architecture to enhance aesthetic preferences and sensory experiences. It delves into the impact of architecture on taste through the education of public taste, the development of interactive models, and the establishment of an architectonic language of communication. These mechanisms serve as vehicles to broaden public appreciation, deepen individual understanding, and personalize architectural aesthetics. The research investigates the potential for architecture to extend beyond the visual by integrating touch, taste, and smell, providing a more inclusive, multisensory experience. It examines how digital modeling, 3D printing, and edible materials can be utilized to season and flavor the built environment, making it uniquely immersive and responsive to personal taste. Furthermore, the study acknowledges the influence of socio-cultural and economic factors on architectural preferences and the importance of catering to diverse tastes. Employing qualitative methods, this research contributes insights from discussions that reveal the evolving nature of architecture's role in shaping taste. Findings underscore architecture's capacity to evolve as a medium for cultural expression, fostering inclusivity, emotional resonance, and dynamic adaptation in the built environment. These insights offer valuable perspectives for architects, designers, and policymakers as they strive to create spaces that reflect the diverse tastes and preferences of society

Abstract:
Our global society is encountering different challenges of the twentyfirst century. Our cities are in the process of constant transformation influenced by urbanisation, globalisation, advanced technologies, environmental and ecological changes, social, political and economic crises. While corporative capitalism has flourished, world population is growing and our cities are sprawling, architecture is reaching almost utopian visions and the boundaries of aesthetics are becoming more and more loose and permeable. Today our contemporary society lives and acts aesthetically. From art, architecture, music, religion, politics, communication, technological gadgets, homes, gardens, clothes, cuisine to sport and life coaching, everything is a subject to aesthetical consideration. Aesthetical consideration of architecture and urbanism in a constantly changing world demands critical and interactive approaches, that will not only deal with theoretical aesthetic opinions, but also the practical ones. Accordingly, this paper seeks to discuss aesthetical problems of contemporary architecture and urban planning from global, environmental, technological and social points of view. Nature is no longer seen as a paradigmatic object of aesthetic experience, but as our unique collective environment upon which we humans depend. Therefore architecture emerges etic and aesthetic approaches in order to reconsider burden of our cities and possible ways of their future development.

According to this subterranean stream, aesthetic experience is generated, neither in ready-made mental faculties of a subject, nor in essential qualities of an object, but through affective interactions of a relational field. A cartographic inquiry of affective aesthetics constitutes the subject matter of this paper, beginning with a philosophical elaboration that connects aesthetic theories of Spinoza, Nietzsche and Deleuze, evolving via a comparative analysis of aesthetic processes specific to Francis Bacon's artistic assemblages and Vogelkop bowerbirds' architectural constructs, and concluding with the possibility of a non-anthropocentric aesthetics.

Abstract:
Abstract Sustainable development – development that meets the needs of the present-day societies without compromising the possibilities of the future societies to meet their needs – became the predominant paradigm of planning policies. This concept with its environmental, social, economic and cultural dimensions has been applied to the field of architecture since the end of the 20th century. However, numerous researchers still notice technological and ecological orientation of sustainable architecture and the lack of attention to its cultural, place-based and aesthetics aspects. The question may be asked if it is possible to distinguish the aesthetics of sustainable architecture. Thus, this research analyses the question of sustainability aesthetics and the ways that it is expressed in the field of architecture. In order to reach this aim: the quantitative and qualitative literature review on the questions of sustainability aesthetics and sustainability aesthetics in architecture was performed; the discussion of the notion of sustainability aesthetics and the aesthetic trends of sustainable architecture was developed based on the results of literature analysis.

Abstract:
The paper focuses on the new field of philosophy of architecture in analytic tradition. The research presented in this paper is part of an ongoing doctoral research concerning the connection between ethics and aesthetics in architecture. The connection between architecture and philosophy is not a novelty. Architectural theory has always looked up to philosophy for inspiration but only recently philosophers have started to study architecture in detail. Architectural theory is still a field that is in search of a better conceptual frame after the failure of the theoretical premises of the Modern Movement and the rise of the "theory speak". Architecture's features as a public art ask for a certain amount of objectivity. The philosophy of architecture in analytic tradition can contribute to a more objective conceptual frame. The principal concerns are familiar to those acquainted with continental philosophy: What makes architecture special among the arts? What is the essence of an architectural work? How we can better define architecture's social mission? But the way of answering them is different. The ethical dimension of architecture is one of the most debated subjects among architects in recent years. There are several contributions on the connection between ethics and aesthetics in the philosophy of architecture in analytic tradition. They have the potential to have an impact on architectural theory and practice.

Abstract:
Architecture, as a mean of art and as a factor that physically shapes the environment, undoubtedly serves as a form of expression of ethical attitudes. It combines ethical values and responsibility for solving environmental problems with aesthetic qualities of the built environment. The holistic approach is gaining ground in the paradigm of sustainability, where architectural concepts such as biophilic, biomimetic, resilient, restorative, and others reinforce the idea of coexistence between humans and nature. In the 21st century, sustainability has become a global phenomenon; therefore, contemporary architecture is expected to reflect the idea of sustainability in its expression. This study explores the relationship between ethics and aesthetics in sustainable architecture in practice. Furthermore, this study attempts to illustrate how the architectural expression of certified sustainable buildings in the Baltic Sea region reflects the trends of sustainability within an ethical paradigm. The research question of this study is as follows: what are the prevailing aesthetic trends and are environmental ethical values expressed in the sustainable architecture of the Baltic Sea region? The study of examples of sustainable architecture was carried out by analyzing the three main databases of certified sustainable buildings—Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen (DGNB), Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) and Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM). The study found eight predominant groups of aesthetic expressions of sustainable buildings and the absence of a distinctive architectural expression that could be considered as sustainability aesthetics. It can be hypothesized that the lack of aesthetic distinctiveness of certified sustainable buildings could be related to the absence of cultural, aesthetically oriented criteria in building sustainability rating systems.

Abstract:
Today, the global environmental awareness becomes increasingly strong. To build beautiful and green energy-saving architecture turns to the construction mainstream. This paper studies several contemporary architectures, such as typical business, industrial and office buildings, and analyzes them from two aspects of efficiency and aesthetics. The design concept that energy efficiency is in the first place and aesthetic in the second place is proposed. The target is to comply with the requirements of environmental protection.

Abstract:
The author asks the fundamental questions on aesthetics of architecture. Architecture, as the strategic dispositive of a building, and urbanism, as the strategic dispositive of a city, transform the spatial (geographic) and temporal (historical) condition into the dispositive of a form of life whereby we process ourselves as human individuals and communities of people in our spatiotemporal phenomenality at a given point in time. It is therefore necessary to politicise the different aspects of engineering-architectural and artistic-architectural practice. That means showing where the organisation of living space confronts the organisation of individual and collective forms of life. The politics of architecture is anthropologised and that means that architects/city planners work to orient architecture toward the object or relationship of objects that intervene in human life in its everyday flexible and complex intimate, private, and public appearance.

Abstract:
In architecture, Venustas (aesthetics) is always considered an important attribute along with Firmitas (firmness) and Utilitas (usefulness). Pursuing aesthetics/ beauty is one of the architect’s primary roles. However, it is critical to comprehend ‘What is aesthetics?’ and its implications for the built-unbuilt environment and human beings. In a world where everything is changing, are the definitions, concepts, and parameters of aesthetics consistent? Is it subject to change over time? If so, should architectural students and professionals be aware of it and trained in it? This study aims to critically assess and analyse the dynamic aspects of aesthetics from 3300 BCE to present and establish the ‘best fit’ definition of aesthetics in architecture. The methodology used for the study is a mixed-method approach, a comprehensive analysis of relevant literature to investigate the origin of aesthetics and aesthetics in philosophy, environmental psychology and architecture. The aspects, criteria and sub-criteria identified from the analysis. The consensus is taken from expert interviews and a questionnaire survey (n=72). Findings reveal that aesthetics in architecture is dynamic/ ever-changing. It has nine contributing aspects that make aesthetics a performing aesthetics that emphasises the enhanced worth and value for money invested. These nine aspects are spatial organisation, functional efficiency, social, psychological, environmental, maintenance, sustainability, technology, and economics.

This article is devoted to the analysis of contemporary Polish multi-family architecture in the context of aesthetic irregularity. The research was limited to constructions from 2011–2021 and nominated for the Mies van der Rohe award as the objects with the greatest potential impact on shaping further trends. In their research, the authors focused on searching for the features of irregularities, which, in their opinion, have become a distinguishing feature of contemporary architectural aesthetics. The analyses in this study refer to three planes of the aesthetic dimension of architecture, namely the form, facade composition and material.

Abstract:
Growing environmental awareness and emerging design and performance requirements related with the implementation of sustainability goals inevitably have an influence on construction, architecture, urban design and the development of our built environment in general. This influence is reflected both in the increasingly efficient ecological performance of built structures and the growing array of related technologies, and in the aesthetic expression of these environmentally conscious designs. The aesthetic expression of sustainability concept and values is sometimes referred to as sustainability aesthetics. The aim of this research is to develop and test a methodological framework for characterizing the sustainability aesthetics of the built environments. The elaborated methodological framework integrates biophilic design, sustainability aesthetics, regenerative design and genius loci as the most promising approaches, allowing the integration of human and environmental concerns. To test the framework, we selected historic built environments that reflect long-lasting sustainable co-existence between humans and their environment and represent hybrid characteristics of both architectural and urban space. One of the purposes selecting these environments for the case study was to determine the features of an organically evolved sustainability aesthetics that could become a valuable source of inspiration for architectural design and management of the built environments.

This paper introduces the reconciliation as well as an analysis on the divide between contemporary and classical aesthetics in architecture. The analysis outlines the segmentation as one of standards rather than of aesthetic appeal, concluding with a proposal for the reconciliation by means of integrating modern and contemporary art into today’s architecture. This reconciliation would not only serve as an artistic take on architecture, but also raise awareness on the subjectivity of beauty in architecture. In the conclusion of this paper, there are highlighted illustrations demonstrating the picturesque outcome of using this proposed method of integration.

Research the evolution of architectonic aesthetics by concentrating on politics and economics in the background of Globalization. The accelerative modernization forces the individual aesthetic needs into the opposite, from which point out the evolution of the post-modern architecture can also be traced into the process from the deviation from astriction to sensibility then to the reflection on basic rationalism and at last to the aesthetic individualism. In conclusion, the trend of individualism, personalization and pure “experience” in architectonic aesthetics will continue its evolution and exert its influence on the development of Chinese architecture.

Abstract:
Architecture of minimum dwellings has been a hot topic recently. When minimum dwellings are compact, well-equipped, connected to the network, structurally, functionally and visually recognized as one thing, temporary and mobile or transportable, they may be designated as capsule architecture. Temporary by nature, these small dwellings, shelters, redesigned container units, special technological structures, parasites and other manifestations of the capsules concept encompass the logic of technological facilities with a distinct architectural expression. At the same time, it is a manifestation of the rule of sustainable design, sustainable architecture and sustainability in general. In this context, the case of small dwellings shows its difference as opposed to other sustainable architecture approaches and aesthetics. It subverts the generally sustainable approaches with exposed importance of locality within the global forces, usually relying on context - location, local culture and environmental characteristics, etc. The aesthetic regime of temporary, changeable, a-contextual and autonomous architectural structures can be regarded as an aesthetics of otherness, which relates them to the legacy of the Modern movement's existenzminimum experiments, the New Brutalism, radical experiments of the 1960s and other avantgarde and NEO-avantgarde practices of the twentieth century, but firmly placed in the context of individualized, indeterminate, dispersed and ambiguous contemporaneity.

Abstract:
The article examines the uniqueness of modern architecture in Japan from the point of view of combining aesthetic principles, the origins of which go back to the traditional religious and philosophical thought of the Far Eastern civilization, with new design techniques. The author gives a retrospective analysis of its formation, starting from the Meiji era. The phenomenon of the naturalness of the architecture of metabolism and minimalism is revealed based on the analysis of the most important Japanese aesthetic principles, the observance of which allowed modern Japanese architects to create an architectural sign-symbolic space filled with deep meanings reflecting the connection of times and generations. The understanding of form in the Far Eastern aesthetic tradition is considered, through the analysis of the concepts of katati, kata and sugata, as well as its determination within the framework of the ‘aesthetics of wind’. The importance of the ideological principles of kaei and ma in shaping in the architecture of metabolism and minimalism, as well as in the organization of space, is revealed. The concretization of the kaei principle in relation to the architectural form is the recognition of layering and the duality of the latter. The form hides the inner semantic content of an architectural object, being a kind of shell, a symbol. In addition, the explication of the kaei principle is observed in the transition of internal space to external space. This is how a sense of unity with nature is achieved, even in an urbanized environment. This principle is embodied in the aesthetic concept of renmentai. The category of the main architecture is a space–time interval. Applied to architectural space, ma reflects emptiness and rhythm. Ma unites and fuses space and time; it is expressed in such things as openings, transitional spaces, space defining the form, smoothly changing forms. The analysis of the principle of excess of color comes to the conclusion that the formation of the aesthetics of black and white is a reflection of the characteristics of wabi – simplicity. Using the example of a semiotic analysis of the works of architects-metabolists and minimalists, including the projects of Kisho Kurokawa, Kenzo Tange, Tadao Ando, the implementation of some traditional aesthetic principles in modern Japanese architecture is considered, that allowed us to achieve harmony of architecture and nature.

Abstract:
The subject of this research is the conservative approach towards aesthetics of architecture in the philosophy of British thinker, aesthetician and theorist of conservatism Roger Scruton. The cultural situation of postindustrial society – consumerism and commodification of culture – requires new approaches in art history, which are capable of establishing protective trends in the social life. Scruton offers an alternative approach towards art, which represents not so much a return to the traditional values, as revival of cultural situation. Such situation implies the existence of art as a translator of traditional values that strengthen social ties. This article is the first within the Russian scientific literature to examine the aesthetics of Scruton’s architecture in the context of his conservative philosophy, which defines the scientific novelty and outlines new horizons for research in the fields of aesthetics of architecture and philosophy of modern British conservatism. The conclusion is made that Scruton's appeal to the topic of aesthetic experience expands the problematic from pure aesthetics to the unity of ethics, theory of solidarity, and axiology of traditional culture.

In the sports architectural form creation, structure technology plays an important role, it is the ideal form of guarantee, elements and form, structure and technology as a method of design, is the factor most architects consider first in sports in architectural creation. Technology of building structure technology as the field of material production, the aesthetic features of its shape becomes the main expression of sports architecture aesthetics, aesthetic psychological effects caused by the people. Especially in large span structure system because of its giant scale and exaggerated shapes, people will lose their normal in the presence of mental judgment scale, often by its magnificent momentum of admiration, moved by the building architectural image and space atmosphere. In the sports building design, construction technical support on architectural forms and form depends on the structure technology is beyond doubt, shaping the spatial image mainly depends on the correct expression of shape.

Abstract:
<p>Developments in modern architecture coincided with developments in scientific and aesthetic approaches of modern time with modernity demanded in all scientific fields. Aesthetic views in modern architecture tended toward clear and simple ways of viewing, therefore it was brought to visual brevity and urban scales and details were created in buildings and urbanism. Visual brevity and its interaction with time and pace in the course of changing views at the time of evolution of modern architecture and romantic thoughts date back to nineteenth century, revealing naturalistic architecture pinnacle in architectural works. Visual brevity prioritized destination with no slightest doubt and the architect’s image (the imaginary) evolved in modern architecture. On the other hand, through environmental same-concept with living organism of nature, visual brevity created organic architecture. The criticism of postmodernism, compared with modernism, considered premodernism forgotten images, discussing time and pace in modern criticism in terms of concentrated, deconcentrated or skipping human and followed deliberative time and pace to evaluate architecture and urbanism works, the inspiration of which was the architect’s postmodern images. Postmodern symbolism (the symbolic) stemmed from forgotten memories. Regarding this, with a closer look, modern and postmodern developments are analyzed considering Jacques Lacan’s three orders. Post-postmodern realism (the real) toward a vague non-sense world in real world is the aesthetics particular of this era. Lack of same- concept in this type of aesthetics resulted in lack of a clear specification source. Hence, continuous research is required. </p>
