The birth population in Taiwan has been declining year by year. Many literatures support moderate exercise to help the development of the fetus. Especially in the third trimester, there are general problems of lower extremity edema and low back pain. The hydrostatic pressure is used to reduce the burden during pregnancy, but it is based on traditional practices in Taiwanese pregnant women. The attitude towards the use of recreational activities in the waters is still conservative. In this study, pregnant women were surveyed using the safety and health awareness of recreational activities in the waters during pregnancy. The facets included: efficacy identification, consumption cognition, risk identification and safety and health identification in the use of water recreation activities during pregnancy. The survey targets pregnant women in Chiayi and Tainan. There are 137 valid questionnaires. The results showed that the willingness to use recreational activities in the waters during pregnancy was only 38, compared with 68 in the non-pregnancy period, a clear 56% difference. In any case, respondents had a high level of recognition for the use of recreational activities in the waters during pregnancy, with 85.4% of those who agreed and strongly agreed to improve sleep quality. A survey of consumption perceptions in the field of recreational activities in the waters shows that pregnant women have the highest demand for “emergency SOS” conditions, and 97.1% agree and agree. The risk identification survey using leisure activities during pregnancy showed that “water quality sanitation management conditions” was the first choice, with 94.9% consent and non-consensus. According to the safety and health approval survey, "the difference between water temperature and room temperature is too large" is the worrying item that pregnant women think is the safest and the healthest, and the agreement and the unrecognized person are up to 84.7%. Cross-analysis results show that the socio-economic background is different, and the efficacy identification, consumption cognition, risk identification and safety and health identification of the use of water leisure activities during pregnancy, and most cross-analysis items all show significant differences in chi-square test, but cross-analysis The items are still quite different from each other. On behalf of the pregnant women's society and the background of pregnancy, their views are still different. It means that the leisure activities of the waters should provide a multi-use thinking and relatively safe and healthy environment for pregnant women. In addition, the fear of increasing the risk of miscarriage is the reason for indirectly affecting the frequency of recreational activities in the waters during pregnancy. The research results suggest that in the era of user payment, the industry should comprehensively examine the needs of the consumer groups, and should indirectly reflect the service quality management of hardware equipment and water quality sanitation and safety to obtain consumer recognition.

ABSTRACT: This document describes an internship report about the end prototyping phase of a scuba diving system and the creative process of an aquatic platform in the company Snorkel Dive Innovations, located in Klagenfurt, south of Austria. Snorkel Dive Innovations focus on the conceptualization of aquatic equipment and holds a product that will soon be commercialized called STEP Dive. The company exists roughly for two years and its supported financially by the Wirtschaftskammer Kärnten (WKK), the local Carinthia Economic Chamber that represents business interests towards the regional government and public authorities. The Step Dive was created with the educational purpose of introducing Scuba diving for the younger users through the collective practice with an experienced supervisor this product is the only diving system that allows more than one person to dive at the same time allowing the users to have a more social and inclusive approach to diving. The project of the platform will be a pontoon type vessel: it will use the economic benefits provided by high pressure hoses that will act as inflatable pontoons, some elements from the Step dive´s raft and another typology of boat to define. Pontoons are structures, generally cylindrical, located under the deck that support the vessel and allow it to float. Their advantages for the platform are the great stability and simple functionality that, combined with the high-pressure hoses, create an economical and easy to transport\ assemble product consisting its main exclusive sailing propositions in the market. The inflatable pontoons eliminate the necessity of storing it in a harbor not polluting the air, water or disturbing the harbor area in any way, this also cases a reduction on the taxes applied on the owners creating a more appealing product. My contribution in the Step Dive consisted in adding and redesigning components in the harness where I used both interventionist and non- interventionist methods. The interventionist methods were quasi-experience on which I tested the prototype in a non-aquatic environment, and active investigation using formulation of hypothesis. The only non-interventionist method used was Delphi because I used the feedback from my supervisor in the company. For the water vessel, the process was more conceptual requiring only the quasi-experience non-interventionist, active research and observation.

The purpose of this study was to explore the status quo of elementary school teachers’ aquatic sport participation and recreational constraint factors, and to analyze teachers’ different constraints and participation with different backgrounds variables and tendencies of aquatic sport participation and further to explore the relationships between the aquatic sport participation and recreational constraints. The researcher selected 400 subjects for this study, resulted in the377 effective respondents, the effective return rate was 94 percent. The analytic approaches include Descriptive statistics, one-way MANOVA and canonical correlation analysis. The findings of the research are listed as below: (1)In terms of aquatic sport participation, the elementary school teachers in Pingtung showed a low of participation. (2)Among these teachers, there is remarkable difference of aquatic sport participation between each of them, which is shown in several background variables, such as: gender, marriage status and swimming capacity. (3)With regard to the leisure constraint, the main element is “personal” factor. (4)The interaction between background variables and leisure constraint is greatly influenced by the variables of gender, teaching experience and swimming capacity. (5)Among these teachers, there is no significant correlation between aquatic sport participation and recreational constraints. Keywords: Aquatic、Recreational sports participation、Recreational sports constraints
