Abstract:
Rad prikazuje usporedbu i analizu triju alata za modeliranje baza podataka – MySQL Workbench (MW), Open ModelSphere i Dia. Uvriježena mišljenja su da je MW spor, da Open ModelSphere nije dizajnerski lijep, a dodavanje atributa zahtjevno, te da je Dia najbolji i najjednostavniji alat od ponuđenih. Alate ćemo usporediti i testirati na istom primjeru kako bismo iz prve ruke vidjeli jesu li uvriježena mišljenja točna te slažemo li se s njima. Nakon analize različitih mišljenja i međusobne usporedbe alata, glavni doprinos ovog rada je sama usporedba i analiza te zaključak da sva tri alata imaju svoje prednosti i mane, a na korisniku je da izabere koji će alat odabrati za daljnje korištenje.

Abstract:
Za planiranje i vođenje poslovanja nužna je adekvatna informacijska podloga zainteresiranim korisnicima. Informirati korisnike znači predočiti im relevantne i pouzdane informacije u prepoznatljivom obliku i sadržaju razumljivom korisnicima kojima su namijenjene. Najveći dio tih informacija nastaje u računovodstvu. Konačni proizvod računovodstvenog procesa je skup izvještaja koji se nazivaju financijskim izvještajima. Oni izvještavaju o stanju poduzeća i uspješnosti poslovanja te upozoravaju na moguće probleme. Financijski izvještaji koje sastavljaju poduzetnici definirani Zakonom o računovodstvu jesu: bilanca, račun dobiti i gubitka, izvještaj o novčanom toku, izvještaj o promjenama glavnice i bilješke uz financijske izvještaje. Financijsko izvještavanje mora osigurati: pouzdane informacije za donošenje upravljačkih odluka, upotrebljive informacije sadašnjim i potencijalnim investitorima i kreditorima za donošenje odluka o ulaganjima i kreditima, informacije o resursima poduzetnika i njihovim izvorima, o transakcijama koje utječu na promjene resursa i izvora, informacije o uspješnosti poslovanja u određenom razdoblju, kao i informacije stručnjacima koji žele proučavati stanje i poslovanje u prošlosti u svezi s planiranjem i sl. Osim vlasnicima i menedžmentu, informacije o stanju i poslovanju poduzeća može biti interesantno i drugim skupinama kao što su: poslovni partneri, investitori, banke, državne institucije i sl. Svaka od tih skupina, s obzirom na razloge i motive promatranja, usmjerena je na određene aspekte financijskih informacija. Onima s računovodstvenim znanjem, skup financijskih izvještaja je razumljiv, a ukoliko su i revidirani preko neovisnih revizora, tada im je to i pouzdan izvor informacija za njihove potrebe. Međutim, veliki je broj onih koji nisu računovodstveni stručnjaci i kojima je potrebno odgovarajuća interpretacija financijskih izvještaja. Interpretacija podrazumijeva analizu financijskih izvještaja korištenjem složenog instrumentarija financijske analize. Kao sredstva analize koriste se analitičke tehnike: vrijednosne i postotne promjene, trend u postotcima, komponente u postotcima te pokazatelji i sustavi pokazatelja. U radu se primjenom relevantnih analitički metoda i tehnike provodi analiza financijskog izvještaja odabranog poduzeća. Cilj je ovog rada da pokaže kako se, primjenom analitičkih metoda i tehnika, mogu interpretirati podaci koji se pojavljuju u financijskim izvještajima, a za potrebe vlasnika i menadžmenta, kreditora i drugih korisnika.

Abstract:
Znanstveni časopisi predstavljaju ključan medij za znanstveno komuniciranje, a za knjižničare izvor za analizu znanstvene produktivnost. Cilj je rada analizirati hrvatske znanstvene i stručne časopise iz polja ekonomije pomoću kvantitativnog pomagala Journal Citation Report (JCR) baze Web of Science i metrijskog pokazatelja SCImago Journal Rank (SJR) o časopisima u Scopusu. Svrha je rada omogućiti znanstvenicima iz ekonomije pregled zastupljenosti hrvatskih ekonomskih časopisa u relevantnim bazama. Uzorak obuhvaća 69 aktivnih časopisa iz ekonomije na Portalu hrvatskih znanstvenih i stručnih časopisa – Hrčak. Metodologija rada analiza je časopisa na Hrčku kako bi se saznalo koji su časopisi indeksirani u citatnim bazama Web of Science i Scopus, a zatim analiza prema parametrima: najbolje rangirani časopis prema čimbeniku odjeka u JCR i prema SJR indikatoru, najcitiraniji članak te najproduktivniji autori. Ovim istraživanjem dobio se uvid u hrvatske časopise indeksirane u bazama kategorije a1 prema Pravilniku o uvjetima za izbor u znanstvena zvanja te uvid u znanstvenu produktivnost znanstvenika unutar polja ekonomije.

Abstract:
Tento článek představuje aplikaci ShinyItemAnalysis pro psychometrickou analýzu testů a jejich položek. ShinyItemAnalysis nabízí psychometrické modely v rámci grafického rozhraní pro volně šiřitelné statistické prostředí R a zpřístupňuje tak jeho funkcionalitu širší veřejnosti. Aplikace pokrývá širokou škálu psychometrických metod, od tradiční položkové analýzy až po složitější latentní modely, nabízí cvičné datové soubory, uvádí rovnice modelů, odhady parametrů a jejich interpretaci, jakož i vybraný zdrojový kód, a je tak vhodným nástrojem pro výuku psychometrických konceptů a jejich implementace v R. Aplikace však také nabízí možnost analýzy vlastních dat a generování reportů a aspiruje tak na to být jednoduchým nástrojem pro rutinní analýzu testů a jejich položek. Závěr článku ukazuje, že ShinyItemAnalysis je dostupným, flexibilním a uživatelsky příjemným nástrojem, který může pomoci tomu, aby se statistická analýza přijímacích i jiných znalostních či psychologických testů stala v praxi samozřejmou záležitostí.In this paper we introduce ShinyItemAnalysis application for psychometric analysis of educational and psychological tests and their items. ShinyItemAnalysis provides graphical interface and web framework to open source statistical software R and thus opens up its functionality to wide audience. Application covers broad range of methods and offers data examples, model equations, parameter estimates, interpretation of results, together with selected R code, and is thus suitable for teaching psychometric concepts with R. The application also aspires to be a simple tool for routine analysis by allowing the users to upload and analyze their own data and by generating analysis report. We conclude by arguing that psychometric analysis should be a routine part of test development in order to gather proofs of reliability and validity of the measurement. With example of admission test to medical faculty, we demonstrate how ShinyItemAnalysis may provide a simple and free tool to routinely analyze tests.

Članek je namenjen analizi Parmove opere Zlatorog, ki zavzema posebno mesto v avtorjevem opusu in tudi v kontekstu razvoja slovenske opere. Skladatelj si je zadal ambiciozen načrt, saj je uglasbil mitološko zgodbo, pri uglasbitvi pa se je skušal približati aktualni glasbeni drami. V svoji realizaciji pa je ostal nekje na sredi poti, kar izdaja analiza oblikovalnih postopkov in dela z vodilnimi motivi.

Abstract:
Regionalni razvoj ne može se promatrati bez analize problematike tradicionalne ekonomije koja zanemaruje ulogu žena pri kreiranju bruto domaćeg proizvoda (BDP). Tradicionalna ekonomija ne mjeri adekvatno neplaćeni rad, obično žena pri obavljanju kućanskih poslova, brige o djeci i starijima, stoga feministička ekonomija zagovara da se istraži i vrednuje doprinos neplaćenog rada žena pri kreiranju BDP-a. Cilj istraživanja je prezentirati nevidiljivi dio doprinosa ženskih poslova pri kreiranju BDP-a, ukazati na značaj ženskog poduzetništva i potaknuti regionalni razvoj kroz edukaciju žena o poduzetništvu. U istraživanju se koristila PEST analiza trenutnog stanja u BiH, zasnovana na sekundarnim podacima iz zvaničnih statističkih i drugih relevantnih publikacija koje su nastale primarnim istraživanjem ove problematike u BiH. Izvršeno je i primarno istraživanje ciljanog uzorka ispitanika iz regije, a anketiranjem su potvrđeni prezentirani rezultati u PEST analizi. Naglasak u radu je na razvoju ženskog poduzetništva, ali i generalno na socio-ekonomskoj ulozi žena u BH ekonomiji, kao i na značaju podizanja nivoa svijesti o ovoj temi u regiji. U „Izvještaju o stanju ravnopravnosti spolova u BiH“ (Agencija za ravnopravnost spolova, 2018. godina), navodi se da je jednak broj dječaka i djevojčica, žena i muškaraca uključen u proces obrazovanja u BiH, ali su i dalje ograničene mogućnosti napredovanja za djevojčice/žene i pristup pozicijama za koje su potrebne visoke kvalifikacije, prije svega zbog postojanja stereotipa koji se odnose na muška/ženska zanimanja i pitanja usklađivanja profesionalnog i porodičnog života. Položaj većine žena u BH društvu je nezavidan, a njihova ekonomska i svaka druga sigurnost prilično upitna. Unatoč lošim uvjetima, žene u BiH uspjele su da opstanu, pokreću vlastite poslove i da se istovremeno uspješno brinu za svoje obitelji, ali i postanu pokretači promjena u BiH i regionalnog društvenog razvoja.

Predmet istraživanja ovoga rada je primjena društveno odgovornog poslovanja u agroturizmu, „seljačkom turizmu“ ili „turizmu na obiteljskim poljoprivrednim gospodarstvima“ u Republici Hrvatskoj. Cilj je istražiti trendove društveno odgovornog poslovanja kroz poduzetničke aktivnosti u turističkom sektoru koji se odnosi na obiteljska poljoprivredna gospodarstva s tendencijom njihova razvoja u kombinaciji s određenim kontekstualnim čimbenicima. Metode korištene u ovome radu su povijesna, metoda analize i sinteze, indukcije i dedukcije te empirijska kvantitativna metoda putem instrumenta strukturiranog upitnika na uzorku poduzetnika koji posluju kao seoska obiteljska gospodarstva (OPG) na području Republike Hrvatske. Također su provedeni i dubinski intervjui s predstavnicima i vlasnicima obiteljskih poljoprivrednih gospodarstava. Prikupljeni podaci obrađeni su deskriptivnom statistikom te je provedena analiza primjene društveno odgovornog poslovanja u tom segmentu turističke ponude. Praktična implikacija istraživanja je da se društveno odgovorno poslovanje ne smije zanemarivati jer je ona pretpostavka za postizanje poslovne konkurentske prednosti u kombinaciji s promjenom nacionalne kulture primjenjivanja društveno odgovornog poslovanja u agroturizmu.

Neprofitne organizacije poput Hrvatskog Crvenog križa usmjerene su rješavanju problema, ostvarivanju ciljeva organizacije i unaprjeđenju kvalitete života. Njihov cilj nije ostvarivanje vlastitog profita ili dobiti. Najčešći izvori financiranja su sredstva iz državnog proračuna, putem članarina i donacija. Neprofitne organizacije obvezne su prezentirati svoje financijske izvještaje te u financijskim izvještajima iskazivati svoje prihode i rashode, izvore vlasništva, imovinu i obveze. Cilj ovog rada je na temelju analize financijskih izvještaja te izračuna izabranih financijskih pokazatelja dobiti pregled poslovanja neprofitne organizacije Gradskog društva Crvenog križa Virovitica. Horizontalna i vertikalna analiza financijskih izvještaja omogućit će dobivanje informacija koje su relevantne za upravljanje, a izračunavanjem financijskih pokazatelja za promatrane godine dodatno će se definirati financijski okvir poslovanja. Na kraju su doneseni zaključci vezani za poslovanje neprofitne organizacije Gradskog društva Crvenog križa Virovitica. Iako nisu profitno orijentirane, neprofitne organizacije su važan pokretač promicanja javnog interesa, odnosno općeg dobra, bitan su čimbenik za društvo, iako je njihova uloga ponekad marginalizirana.

Abstract:
U ovom radu problematizira se konkurentnost hrvatskoga gospodarstva. U teorijskim poglavljima rada, na temelju sekundarnih izvora podataka prikupljenih „desk“ metodom (istraživanje za stolom), prikazana je konkurentnost hrvatskoga gospodarstva i koncept pet konkurentskih sila prema Porteru. U tu svrhu korištena je znanstvena i stručna literatura te Internetski izvori. Uz sekundarne, u radu su prikazani i primarni rezultati istraživanja, koji predstavljaju odgovore ispitanika prikupljene metodom internetske ankete. Ispitanike su predstavljali zaposlenici hrvatskih izvoznih poduzeća, a njihovi odgovori obrađeni su metodom deskriptivne statističke analize. S tim u vezi, cilj istraživanja u ovom radu predstavlja rangiranje utjecaja Porterovih pet sila na konkurentnost hrvatskih izvoznih poduzeća, što je provedeno statističkom analizom varijanci. Predmetno istraživanje tj. sekundarni i primarni podatci prikazani u ovom radu preuzeti su iz doktorske disertacije autora ovog rada.

El presente artículo analiza el caso de un Curso en Línea Masivo y Abierto (MOOC) que tiene por objetivo desarrollar competencias digitales y de diseño instruccional para integrar Recursos Educativos Abiertos (REA) en ambientes de aprendizaje. Se utiliza la metodología del estudio de caso para realizar los procesos de investigación. El artículo tiene como objetivo analizar la difusión y los resultados de aprendizaje obtenidos de la implementación del MOOC, para lo cual se analizan distintas fuentes de información, tales como registros de navegación, respuestas a encuestas y evidencias de aprendizaje. Se concluye que el MOOC analizado funciona como un espacio efectivo para la enseñanza y difusión sobre los REA.Teaching and dissemination about the use of open educational resources with MOOC: a case studyAbstractThis paper analyzes the case of a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) which aims to develop digital competencies and instructional design to integrate Open Educational Resources (OER) into learning environments. The methodology of the case study is used to carry out the research processes. The article aims to analyze the diffusion and learning outcomes of the implementation of the MOOC, which discussed various sources of information, such as navigation logs, responses to surveys and evidence of learning. The thesis is devoted to product range analysis of Opel Southeast Europe LLC. This paper is focused on Czech and Slovak market. In the first part, author starts with theoretical base, which is followed by a practical part. The next part includes a description of company, analysis of micro and macro environment through Porter's five forces analysis and PESTEL analysis. There is also a description of various Opel models, which are further analyzed in terms of competitive comparison, segment analysis, in which models are offered and price comparison. This part is followed by a summary of major findings arising from analysis of the company's range. At the end of the practical part there is a brief proposal to locate offers that could help increase sales on mentioned markets.

This master thesis is focused on analysis and creation of GSM network, using open-source projects. For such creation is used software defined radio – in this thesis kit USRP1 which uses OpenBTS with GNURadio. As a switchboard is used PBX Asterisk and for testing GSM network was used OsmocomBB (on Motorola C123) and Airprobe (on Nokia 3310) projects. Installation and implementation are part of this thesis. In thesis have been also created two scripts for simplify of the work with projects and one laboratory task.

Thesis is divided into two parts. First part is theoretic the second one is practically focused. In the theoretic focused part thesis examines area of open data sources and trends, which appears in this area. In practically oriented part are data processed with Business Intelligence methods. Goal of this part was show that it is possible to process this open data with help of BI and report them similarly, like data from companies and show obstacles, which can appear. Thesis is divided in six chapters. First chapter is introduction, second is searches, third one focuses on trends and use of open data, fourth shows, where open data can be found, fifth describes processing of chosen data with BI, sixth chapter is final and sums up work and describes fulfilling of goals.

Based on analysis of a particular outsourcing warehousing contract held between global company and 3PL, this thesis has three goals: evaluate current contract compared to standard contractual requirements, evaluate the option of switching the outsourcing relationship from open book to closed book approach, and suggest solution that would use the potential of the provider most. Break event point analysis, labour productivity analysis and method of managerial decision making were used in this thesis. Closed book and open book approaches were analysed in original way using previously mentioned methods. The recommendation to the company is to keep current open book contract with implementing quality KPI's and performance-based outsourcing in accordance with vested outsourcing approach.

The diploma thesis called The Analysis of 3D printing use in households is dealing with the current topic of 3D printers and examines the ways of their use in households in the Czech Republic. The main objective is to analyze the use of 3D printing in households. This means to find out why and how often the owners of 3D printers use them in their households. Also, to find out the whole range of other factors related to the ownership of 3D printers such as frequency usage, machine satisfaction, number of owned printers, etc. Based on the analysis for which the data was collected by the questionnaire survey method and later evaluated using hypotheses and comparisons with another similar survey, criteria for 3D printer selection are compiled. These recommendations serve to those who are interested in acquiring this technology. Research conducted in this thesis may be beneficial for future analyzes of this market, or for inventors of 3D printers who are considering to launch their 3D printers on the Czech market.

Similar programmes of other car producers are compared in this chapter, and it also draws a comparison between offers of competitors in form of independent distributors of spare parts. B2B marketing research can be found at the end of the master's thesis, its aim was to identify levels of satisfaction with content and rules of the Opel Spare Parts Programme. Representatives of authorised Opel services became research respondents. Results of the research were used for planning marketing activities for 2013 schedule.

Abstract Since social media have increasingly become forums to exchange personal opinions, more and more approaches have been suggested to analyze those sentiments automatically. Neural networks and traditional machine learning methods allow individual adaption by training the data, tailoring the algorithm to the particular topic that is discussed. Still, a great number of methodological combinations involving algorithms (e.g., recurrent neural networks (RNN)), techniques (e.g., word2vec), and methods (e.g., Skip-Gram) are possible. This work offers a systematic comparison of sentiment analytical approaches using different word embeddings with RNN architectures and traditional machine learning techniques. Using German comments of controversial political discussions on YouTube, this study uses metrics such as F1-score, precision and recall to compare the quality of performance of different approaches. First results show that deep neural networks outperform multiclass prediction with small datasets in contrast to traditional machine learning models with word embeddings.

AbstractAnalyzing and understanding software developers’ work habits and resulting needs is an essential prerequisite to improve software development practice. In our research, we utilize different qualitative and quantitative research methods to empirically investigate three underexplored aspects of software development: First, we analyze how software developers use sketches and diagrams in their daily work and derive requirements for better tool support. Then, we explore to what degree developers copy code from the popular online platform Stack Overflow without adhering to license requirements and motivate why this behavior may lead to legal issues for affected open source software projects. Finally, we describe a novel theory of software development expertise and identify factors fostering or hindering the formation of such expertise. Besides, we report on methodological implications of our research and present the open dataset SOTorrent, which supports researchers in analyzing the origin, evolution, and usage of content on Stack Overflow. The common goal for all studies we conducted was to better understand software developers’ work practices. Our findings support researchers and practitioners in making data-informed decisions when developing new tools or improving processes related to either the specific work habits we studied or expertise development in general.

We develop a small open economy model with nominal rigidities and fragmented labor markets to study the response of the monetary policy to a migration shock. Migrants are characterized by their productivity levels, their restrictions to accumulate capital, as well as by the flexibility of their labor income. Our results show that the monetary policy response depends on the characteristics of migrants and the local labor market. An inflow of low(high)-productivity workers reduces(increases) marginal costs, lowers(raises) inflation expectations and pushes the Central Bank to reduce(increase) the interest rate. The model is calibrated to the Colombian economy and used to analyze a migratory inflow of financially constraint workers from Venezuela into a sector with flexible and low wages.

With its annual Payment Systems Report, Banco de la República offers a complete overview of the infrastructure of Colombia’s financial market. Each edition of the report has four objectives: 1) to publicize a consolidated account of how the figures for payment infrastructures have evolved with respect to both financial assets and goods and services; 2) to summarize the issues that are being debated internationally and are of interest to the industry that provides payment clearing and settlement services; 3) to offer the public an explanation of the ideas and concepts behind retail-value payment processes and the trends in retail payments within the circuit of individuals and companies; and 4) to familiarize the public, the industry, and all other financial authorities with the methodological progress that has been achieved through applied research to analyze the stability of payment systems. This edition introduces changes that have been made in the structure of the report, which are intended to make it easier and more enjoyable to read. The initial sections in this edition, which is the eleventh, contain an analysis of the statistics on the evolution and performance of financial market infrastructures. These are understood as multilateral systems wherein the participating entities clear, settle and register payments, securities, derivatives and other financial assets. The large-value payment system (CUD) saw less momentum in 2019 than it did the year before, mainly because of a decline in the amount of secondary market operations for government bonds, both in cash and sell/buy-backs, which was offset by an increase in operations with collective investment funds (CIFs) and Banco de la República’s operations to increase the money supply (repos). Consequently, the Central Securities Depository (DCV) registered less activity, due to fewer negotiations on the secondary market for public debt. This trend was also observed in the private debt market, as evidenced by the decline in the average amounts cleared and settled through the Central Securities Depository of Colombia (Deceval) and in the value of operations with financial derivatives cleared and settled through the Central Counterparty of Colombia (CRCC). Section three offers a comprehensive look at the market for retail-value payments; that is, transactions made by individuals and companies. During 2019, electronic transfers increased, and payments made with debit and credit cards continued to trend upward. In contrast, payments by check continued to decline, although the average daily value was almost four times the value of debit and credit card purchases. The same section contains the results of the fourth survey on how the use of retail-value payment instruments (for usual payments) is perceived. Conducted at the end of 2019, the main purpose of the survey was to identify the availability of these payment instruments, the public’s preferences for them, and their acceptance by merchants. It is worth noting that cash continues to be the instrument most used by the population for usual monthly payments (88.1% with respect to the number of payments and 87.4% in value). However, its use in terms of value has declined, having registered 89.6% in the 2017 survey. In turn, the level of acceptance by merchants of payment instruments other than cash is 14.1% for debit cards, 13.4% for credit cards, 8.2% for electronic transfers of funds and 1.8% for checks. The main reason for the use of cash is the absence of point-of-sale terminals at commercial establishments. Considering that the retail-payment market worldwide is influenced by constant innovation in payment services, by the modernization of clearing and settlement systems, and by the efforts of regulators to redefine the payment industry for the future, these trends are addressed in the fourth section of the report. There is an account of how innovations in technology-based financial payment services have developed, and it shows that while this topic is not new, it has evolved, particularly in terms of origin and vocation. One of the boxes that accompanies the fourth section deals with certain payment aspects of open banking and international experience in that regard, which has given the customers of a financial entity sovereignty over their data, allowing them, under transparent and secure conditions, to authorize a third party, other than their financial entity, to request information on their accounts with financial entities, thus enabling the third party to offer various financial services or initiate payments. Innovation also has sparked interest among international organizations, central banks, and research groups concerning the creation of digital currencies. Accordingly, the last box deals with the recent international debate on issuance of central bank digital currencies. In terms of the methodological progress that has been made, it is important to underscore the work that has been done on the role of central counterparties (CCPs) in mitigating liquidity and counterparty risk. The fifth section of the report offers an explanation of a document in which the work of CCPs in financial markets is analyzed and corroborated through an exercise that was built around the Central Counterparty of Colombia (CRCC) in the Colombian market for non-delivery peso-dollar forward exchange transactions, using the methodology of network topology. The results provide empirical support for the different theoretical models developed to study the effect of CCPs on financial markets. Finally, the results of research using artificial intelligence with information from the large-value payment system are presented. Based on the payments made among financial institutions in the large-value payment system, a methodology is used to compare different payment networks, as well as to determine which ones can be considered abnormal. The methodology shows signs that indicate when a network moves away from its historical trend, so it can be studied and monitored. A methodology similar to the one applied to classify images is used to make this comparison, the idea being to extract the main characteristics of the networks and use them as a parameter for comparison.
