Abstract:
Sluggish or lumpy progression of psychoanalysis or other insight-oriented psychotherapies, in opposite to non-analytical techniques, in unindustrialized societies or traditional nations, during the first decades of present century, in spite of availability of main references or resources, may suggest an exact rational or cognitive foundation, other than well-known socioeconomic explanations. Such sluggishness is worthy of analysis, because, chronologically, the similar course was not so slow in developed societies throughout the comparable period in the last century.

Abstract:
While the news industry and news databases have changed over the last 20 years, little is known about the type of news content studied and how the ways researchers access content have evolved. This paper aims to identify trends in news analysis studies by examining 216 print and online news analyses published in communication, journalism, and media studies journals by U.S. authors between 2002 and 2020. Each publication was coded for their methodological attributes. Findings show most studies analyze text articles. Subscription-based news aggregator databases like LexisNexis, NewsBank/Access World News, ProQuest, and Factiva are the most popular resources to access news content, and there has been a statistically significant increase in the use of news websites and public databases. Librarians can use these findings to assess their news collections and advise researchers on resources to access news content for news analysis projects.

Abstract:
Pakistan's socio-economic landscape through digital technology, with digital infrastructure as the foundation for economic growth, social inclusion, and governance reform. Keyword network analysis was employed to analyze Pakistan's digital policy, and based on this, cognitive map analysis was conducted to analyze policy implications and policy directions. A keyword network analysis using the R program identified key themes such as “digital transformation,” “e-governance,” “AI,” and “blockchain” to highlight their importance within the policy framework, which focuses on innovation, global competitiveness, and inclusion, integrates AI, blockchain, and 5G, and prioritizes gender equality. The network analysis shows a 'Digital Pakistan Policy' as a central hub connecting key areas such as e-governance, fintech, and digital inclusion, supported by elements such as ICT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and smart cities. Key nodes such as digital literacy, youth empowerment, and innovation also highlight efforts to bridge the digital divide and foster entrepreneurship as important policy variables. The cognitive map analysis also identifies processes such as the digital infrastructure cycle, IT industry promotion, and digital innovation cycle to achieve the goals of Pakistan's digital policy. The policy has the potential to transform Pakistan into a leading player in the global digital economy, bringing about widespread benefits for its citizens and positioning the country for long-term prosperity.

Abstract:
Phonocardiogram (PCG) signal is a particular approach to explore cardiac activity, to develop technics that may serve medical staff to diagnose several cardiac diseases. We took advantage of PCG signal that shows heart murmurs on its tracing dissimilar to other cardiac signals, to design an algorithm to study and classify heart murmurs. In this paper, the importance is given to the severity of murmurs to highlight its impact, since depending on its stage the patient could be in life-threatening point; therefore, the purpose of this paper is focused on three essential steps: according to the algorithm, extracting murmurs and classifying them to deferent stages then investigate the impact of severity on cardiac frequency through some parameters. The severity stage calculation was based on energy ratio (ER) which is recommended by recent studies as an effective factor, however, we succeed to validate that murmur energy (ME) is also a qualified feature to determine severity. But despite that murmur duration, it's an inefficient way to judge the cardiac severity, which is a very important indicator of the general health of the human body. This study is done on considering many patients and it reveals very interesting results.

Abstract:
In the current scenario, wind turbine energy accounts for 70% of total renewable energy used in India. The Indian wind energy sector has a capacity of 20 GW installed (as on 31.5.2017). In terms of installed wind power capacity, India ranks fifth in the world and is regarded as a major player in the global wind energy market. For the current work, a design method based on modelling in Uni-graphics and followed by simulation using the CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) star ccm + programme is chosen, so that the expense and time required to find the optimum aerodynamic design of a wind turbine blade by experiment can be minimised.

Abstract:
This study examines the benefits of data envelopment analysis (DEA) in evaluating the performance of decision making units (DMUs). DEA is a mathematical programming tool applied in performance measurement. The problem identified is establishing business support units as value adding business units. A case is made for applying DEA when evaluating the performance of such business support units. To this end, a literature review of the results of applications of DEA to the evaluation of information technology and purchasing supply chain management functions was conducted. The findings indicate the benefits of DEA are that the method identifies efficient performers in a given population and, therefore, allows for benchmarking against the ’best in class’ performer. This as opposed to more commonly used parametric methods, such as regression analysis, which result in a comparator that represents the average performance for a given population, therefore, allowing only for measurement against the average. In addition, the findings indicate that in respect of business support units, the DEA methodology allows for the incorporation of intermediate outcomes, which facilitates the measurement of the contribution of these units to overall company performance. Although the DEA methodology has been widely applied, it is still not as well known or generally applied as the more common approaches. The recommendations made in this paper will be beneficial in bringing DEA to the attention of decision-makers. The recommendations will also raise awareness of the potential benefits to be realised when applying the method in developing performance measurement frameworks for business support units. Keywords: performance measurement, data envelopment analysis, decision making units, business support units. JEL Classification: C61, L25

Abstract:
Aims: Pancreatic cancer is a major disease to fatalities worldwide. To understand its molecular mechanisms is crucial for improving diagnosis and treatment. We aim to identify key biomarkers and biological pathways associated with pancreatic adenocarcinoma using RNA sequencing data from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA). To analyze differentially expressed genes in pancreatic cancer, performed enrichment analysis to uncover crucial biological processes and cellular components, evaluated the impact of identified genes on patient survival and prognosis. Methods: We examined RNA sequencing data from TCGA to identify differentially expressed genes (DEGs), crucial biological processes, and cellular components associated with pancreatic cancer. Enrichment analysis was conducted to pinpoint significant genes involved in various pathways, and survival analysis was performed to assess the impact of these genes on patient outcomes. Results: Our analysis identified several significant genes linked to pancreatic cancer, including EDN1, KDM1A, KDM5D, KDM6A, NLGN4Y, RASGRP, SQLE, TMSB4Y, TNF, USP9Y, 1UTY, and ZRSR2. Notably, Ras guanyl nucleotide-releasing protein (RASGRP), tumor necrosis factor (TNF), and ZRSR2 showed lower expression levels than normal tissues, while KDM1A and KDM3A were significantly overexpressed, correlating with poor prognostic outcomes. Survival analysis indicated that EDN1, KDM1A, RASGRP, and squalene epoxidase (SQLE) are associated with mortality risk or disease recurrence. Conclusion: Our findings highlight key biomarkers and pathways involved in pancreatic cancer, emphasizing the potential of KDM1A and KDM3A as therapeutic targets. By identifying these biomarkers, we aim to contribute to developing targeted therapies that could enhance patient prognoses and improve treatment strategies for pancreatic cancer.

Abstract:
This article deals with the phenomenon of renaming events and individuals by describing their characteristics, not by their names. It has also been suggested that people have nicknames that refer to their strengths and weaknesses. Paraphrases are then used to describe speech as a means of stylistics. Paraphrases are said to be renaming by describing objects, events, and types, and their types are listed according to their structure. Paraphrases have been noted to serve not only to enrich charm, imagery, and speech, but also to reinforce its content. The lexical unit of the nickname, in turn, has four different meanings. At the same time, Rashod Nuri Guntekin connects the whole system of events in the novel “Cholikushi” with certain paraphrases and divides them into three parts: “Farida – Cholikushi”, “Farida – Ipak qurti”, “Farida – Gulbashakar”. It is said that the events of the work are developed around these paraphrases by the author, and the author has created the original aesthetic means. It is emphasized that each paragraph and nickname in the work is a unique invention of the author, which is skillfully used in the novel as a methodological tool. It is noted that Rashod Nuri Guntekin’s novel “Cholikushi” effectively used paraphrases and nicknames. The author is in his work “Çalıkuşu”, “İpekböceği”, “Gülbeşeker”, “Evliya parmaklığı”, “Küçük” parafrazalarini, “Sakallı Amca”, “Gourde”, “San çıyanı”, “Ayı Dayı”, “Sarı zalim”, “Sarı mahluk”, “Düldül”, “Odabaşı”, “Sevgili ayıcıklarım” emphasis was placed on the skillful use of their nicknames in their place, and analyzed through examples. In the conclusion, the main part of the nicknames are Turkish words, some of them contain Persian (gül, dayı) and Arabic (zalim, mahluk) words, the only nickname is French (gourde)), in order to convey the spirit of the time explained.
