Abstract:
The success of performance is not only from a historical financial aspect, but more than that, from non-financial factors that have a much greater contribution. The research objective is to analyze the environment, internal, and company performance. The method used in this research is a descriptive and associative approach with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used in this study used saturated sampling or often referred to as census and in this case only PT Ultimedia Group Saudara's employees could get 58 people using the saturated sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, including the coefficient of determination, multiple correlation coefficients, partial test (T test), and simultaneous test (F test). The results showed that the external environment has an effect on company performance. Internal control affects company performance. The simultaneous test results (F test) show that the external environment and control have an effect on company performance.

Abstract:
The stable operation of a high-speed rotating rotor-bearing system is dependent on the internal damping of its materials. In this study, the dynamic behaviours of a rotor-shaft system with internal damping composite materials under the action of a temperature field are analysed. The temperature field will increase the tangential force generated by the internal damping of the composite material. The tangential force will also increase with the rotor speed, which can destabilise the rotor-shaft system. To better understand the dynamic behaviours of the system, we introduced a finite element calculation model of a rotor-shaft system based on a 3D high-order element (Solid186) to study the turbocharger rotor-bearing system in a temperature field. The analysis was done according to the modal damping coefficient, stability limit speed, and unbalance response. The results show that accurate prediction of internal damping energy dissipation in a temperature field is crucial for accurate prediction of rotor dynamic performance. This is an important step to understand dynamic rotor stress and rotor dynamic design.

Abstract:
In this study, a simulation study was conducted for the loss of efficiency caused by the heat emitted by the LED chips. The temperature change of LED luminaire was analysed for three different scenarios using finite element method. Due to the increase in the internal temperature of the luminaire and due to the air effect inside the LED luminaires, failure of the LEDs has been tried to be prevented. For this purpose, a passive cooling method was proposed in the simulation environment. So, in high power LED luminaires, the high heat emitted by the LED chips is reduced to low heat by an air flow method. In this way, efficiency in LED outputs has been achieved.

Abstract:
The use of computational models in built environments comes from the need to deal with situations as close as possible to the reality and also to study functional spaces that could be able to provide, for example, thermal comfort. In this work we analyze some cases of indoor air circulation in built environments through a mixed stabilized finite element method, applied to the Navier-Stokes equations in velocity and pressure variables. The implemented numerical method ensures stability for the internal constraint imposed by the velocity field, and accommodates moderate to large advective effects. The obtained internal wind field allows the choice of wall shapes that increase or not the ventilation and can alter its distribution, allowing in this way a better adequacy of the built environment for the climate needs and its objectives.

Abstract:
In this paper, a quantitative multicriteria futuristic fuzzy decision hierarchy (MFFDH)-based SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) analysis has been carried out to determine priorities among significant factors related to tourism's internal and external environment. In MFFDH model, the fuzzy logic is combined with analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to overcome the uncertainty in decision making process. The utilization of MFFDH with SWOT yields analytically determined priorities for the factors included in SWOT analysis and makes them more commensurable. The hybrid method has been applied in connection with a case study on tourism industry in Agra (India) and result indicates that the factors related to tourism's internal environment (strengths and weaknesses) are relatively more important than external factors (opportunities and threats). In addition, strengths group turned out to have the highest priorities while threats group have the lowest priorities.

Abstract:
Strategy is a comprehensive program for an action which defines the major directions of an organization and provides guidelines for resources allocation on the course to achieve the long-term goals of the organization. Choosing the right strategy is a complex and even risky task. This is because each strategy leads the organization to a specific competitive environment and determines how managers plan to match the strengths and weaknesses of an organization with the environmental opportunities and threats. SWOT analysis alone does not provide an analytical tool for recognizing the importance of identified factors and evaluating various strategic options based on the factors. For this reason, SWOT analysis has some deficiencies and shortcomings in the measurement and evaluation of the factors. Although the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) can overcome these deficiencies, when there is a lack of independency and dependency between factors, the approach loses its efficiency. This is due to the fact that AHP assumes the possibility of factors involved in an independent hierarchy of structure if this assumption cannot be accepted for examining the effects of the internal and external environment. Therefore, a tool to consider and assess the possible dependencies among the factors has been needed. In this paper, an algorithm is presented based on the network analysis process, which can work well even when there is a dependency between the SWOT factors. Then, the green space conditions in Tehran's district 19 are analyzed by SWOT analysis where this algorithm is considered as a real case.

Abstract:
In ultra-high voltage transmission system, the electrostatic induction generated by power frequency electric field will exerts negative effects on the electrical automation equipment within the substation and, in particular, will leads long-term harm to staffs’ health. However, researches of electric field environment in ultra-high voltage transmission system merely concentrate on calculating the electric field intensity caused by three-phase limited length wire or three-phase infinite wire within the transmission, without considering the method of calculating half-infinite wire which represents “one end is fixed, while the other end is infinite length’s wire”. Consequently, a new method named “Charge Simulation-Genetic Algorithm (CS-GA) method” which can efficiently calculate power frequency electric field inside of the substation is proposed in the paper. In CS-GA method, the effective calculating length is determined by genetic algorithm method’s optimization, which in other words, half-infinite length wire is substituted for limited length wire in calculating the electric field intensity. The simulation results indicate that CS-GA method is a relatively accurate, efficient and reasonable way on calculating the power frequency electric field inside of the substation.

Abstract:
The generator-absorber heat exchange ammonia-water absorption heat pump has a relatively high efficiency and the COP is improved by recovering internal heat. In order to resolve the problem that generator-absorber heat exchange effect becomes less obvious or even fails under the working condition of large temperature lift, a novel system is proposed to recover the rectification heat and absorption heat by solution split method. Compared with the method of using total strong solution to recover absorption heat after extracting rectification heat, the method of solution split avoids the problem of high temperature of inlet strong solution of the solution cooled absorber, and improves the internal heat recovery capacity of the system. When using solution split method to recover the rectification heat and absorption heat, the solution split ratio K has an important influence on the system performance. This paper will theoretically study the selection range of the solution split ratio K and the effect of evaporation temperature, cooling water temperature and generation temperature on the optimum split ratio K. Compared to the system that uses the total strong solution to recover the rectification heat and absorption heat, the performance of the novel system is significantly improved, and the novel system performance coefficient can be increased by up to 15.7%.

The Chinese market is indispensable for international automobile enterprises and they are expanding their investment in this market accordingly. To escalate their market share in China, automobile manufacturers and independent automotive enterprises have implemented a series of management strategies. Consequently, competition in China is becoming increasingly intense. Conversely, Chinese automobile enterprises have no international brand recognition. In this paper, an independent automobile enterprise, Chery Automobile Co. Ltd., is selected as a case study and examined using the SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) method. Moreover, we analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of the company’s internal environment using a fuzzy VRIO (Value, Rarity, Immutability and Organization) method. Applying the fuzzy theory to an analysis of the management environment can facilitate more effective strategy formulations. It is expected that the application of fuzzy theory to management methods will contribute to the future development of the Chinese automobile industry. The competitive advantages to Chery are illustrated by the fuzzy VRIO analysis.

Abstract:
This paper presents the results of an analysis using the direct current internal resistance (DCIR) method on a nickel-cobalt-manganese oxide (NCM)-based battery with a nominal capacity of 55.6 Ah. The accelerated degradation test was performed on V0G, V1G, and V2G patterns, representing existing simple power supply, smart charging control, and bi-directional charge/discharge control, respectively. We assumed V0G, V1G, and V2G patterns and conducted charging and discharging experiments according to the set conditions. According to the pattern repetition, changes in the internal resistance of DCIR and AC-impedance were analyzed and battery deterioration was diagnosed. By comparing DCIR and AC-impedance, we confirmed that the changes in internal resistance has a similar trend. In particular, we propose a new DCIR analysis method in the “stop-operation” part rather than the traditional DCIR method. In the case of traditional DCIR method, time is required for the battery to stabilize. However, the newly proposed DCIR analysis method has the advantage of diagnosing the deterioration of the battery during system operation by analyzing the internal resistance without the stabilization time of the battery.

Abstract The aim of this study is the design, manufacture, and development of a metallic rehabilitation device (titanium frame structure) that is created with a printing process. Product design is inspired by the Computed Tomography (CT) based reconstruction method, during which a metallic frame structure is designed that perfectly fits the retrieved bone surface. The internal structure of the designed metallic frames is a statically analysed three-dimensional construct which makes it possible to create individual product types. Constructs with different structure are checked by finite element analysis. Our goal is to establish a standardised manufacturing process, in which specific mechanical stressing can be carried out and optimal product type chosen, depending on different cases. At the end of this study, our solution of choice is demonstrated with surgical pictures.

Researching the gas’s temperature change trend was important for the system design of spray tower in which the liquid and the gas was mixed and the heat was exchanged. In temperature measurement, it must be concerned that the test data contain impulse noise due to the internal complex environment of spray tower. In order to get the real and accurate data and to acquire temperature change characteristics, the thermocouple sensors were used to do multipoint temperature measurement in different experimental conditions. The method of extremum median filter was used to remove impulse noise of signal. The simulation was made with MATLAB. The analysis result shows that the method can remove impulse noise of temperature signal and get accurate temperature data.

Abstract:
The energy-saving requirements for most buildings focus on improving the insulation and airtightness of a building’s envelope. In this paper, the authors have investigated the effect of additional internal insulation on energy consumption for heating and cooling in a residential building. Energy performance analyses were conducted for buildings with four internal thermal insulation systems in three locations using the WUFI Plus software. The Global Cost Method and Simply Pay Back Time have been used to assess and compare the economic viability of the retrofit systems. The results show that, in relation to energy, retrofitting with internal wall insulation can be an alternative to traditional external insulation. The assessment of internal insulation for low-energy buildings, however, cannot be conducted based on economic criteria. The usual approach of Simply Pay Back Time has exceptionally long payback time, which is unacceptable. In turn, the Global Cost Method, can only be used to compare the applied materials. With high investment costs, thermo-modernization improvements do not contribute to significant savings. The conditions of thermal comfort and the analysis of temperature and steam pressure play a decisive role in assessing this type of solution.

Abstract:
The thermal environment inside a fully-enclosed subway noise barrier shall be designed according to underground section tunnel standards. This article constructs a model using practical examples, simulates calculations on fully-enclosed noise barrier installations both with and without air vents via a threedimensional numerical simulation method, and then conducts a comparative analysis of the effects noise barrier lengths and air vent widths have on an internal thermal environment. The calculation results show that when the length of the fully-enclosed noise barrier without air vents was 100m, the internal thermal environment exceeded the limit; as the width of the air vents increased, the temperature in the internal environment gradually decreased, but the reduction was less once the air vent width exceeded 2 m; When the top air vent width was 2 m, and the noise barrier length was 100m, the thermal environment was found to meet requirements. As the noise barrier length increased, the internal air temperature exceeded the standards by varying degrees.

Full text
Abstract:
The nonlinear vibration behaviors of stiffened cylindrical shells under electromagnetic excitations, transverse excitations, and in-plane excitations are studied for the first time in this paper. Given the first-order shear deformation theory and Hamilton principle, the nonlinear partial differential governing equations of motion are derived with considering the von Karman geometric nonlinearity. By employing the Galerkin discretization procedure, the partial differential equations are diverted to a set of coupled nonlinear ordinary differential equations of motion. Based on the case of 1 : 2 internal resonance and principal resonance-1/2 subharmonic parametric resonance, the multiscale method of perturbation analysis is employed to precisely acquire the four-dimensional nonlinear averaged equations. From the resonant response analysis and nonlinear dynamic simulation, we discovered that the unstable regions of stiffened cylindrical shells can be narrowed by decreasing the external excitation or increasing the magnetic intensity, and their working frequency range can be expanded by reducing the in-plane excitation. Moreover, the different nonlinear dynamic responses of the stiffened cylindrical shell are acquired by controlling stiffener number, stiffener size, and aspect ratio. The presented approach in this paper can provide an efficient analytical framework for nonlinear dynamics theories of stiffened cylindrical shells and will shed light on complex structure design in vibration test engineering.

Abstract:
The main purpose of this study is to investigate the impacts of firms’ internal information environment on tax avoidance. The research method includes a data panel and is generally of semi-experimental fashion. The population of research is consisted of the entire companies and firms listed in Tehran’s stock exchange as 496 firms from the beginning of 2007 until the end of financial year of 2014. Among the population, a number of 86 firms were selected as the sample through systematic omitting method. For the purpose of data analysis, the tests of T and multivariate linear regression were incorporated into the study. Results indicate that impact of quality of internal information on tax avoidance is higher in those companies in which information play a more important role. Firms which operate under geographic dispersion make more use of the quality of their internal information, because this information helps them towards reduced tax avoidance. High quality of internal information and commercial dispersion force these firms towards avoiding larger taxes. In addition, quality of internal information is not effective on firms which are under reconstruction status.

One of the characters of urbanization is that cities develop spatially. The harmful effects of urban heat island put a burden on environmental preservation, energy saving, and thermal comfort. High-albedo materials can lower temperatures effectively when exposed to solar radiation. According to the albedo change of the wall-facing materials of urban buildings, two building models were constructed, of which the internal and external microclimate parameters were measured under certain meteorological conditions in summer. The analytical results of the internal heat environments show that employing high-albedo coatings on the building exterior wall was an active and effective approach to mitigating the high temperatures in the urban environment and its consequences. Moreover, an integral method was used to calculate albedo, which supplies an effective way in the selection of coatings, the performance analysis of the heat insulation, and the assessment of the building microheat environment.

Abstract:
In this paper, the stress distribution field in front of the crack tip was obtained by loading a modified WOL specimen using a bolt. Considering the relationship between microhardness and hydrogen content or internal stress in the metal, a model based on the change of microhardness increment is proposed to describe the trend of hydrogen concentration distribution in the stress environment. The agreement between theoretical model and experimental results is verified by the Vickers microhardness tester. Based on the model, there is a simple additive relationship between the hydrogen-induced microhardness increment and the stress-induced microhardness increment. Therefore, the microhardness tester can be employed to evaluate the hydrogen distribution in metals quantitatively. The experimental results demonstrated that the Vickers microhardness method has accurately revealed the hydrogen concentration behavior accurately in a known equibiaxial stress environment. The hydrogen distribution of specimens in the stress environment was analyzed by taking the change of the microhardness increment along the crack propagation direction of specimens as the indicator.

Abstract:
Environmental life cycle assessment (LCA) in Poland is still a relatively new method of estimating the environmental impact of production processes. It enables the assessment of the environmental risks associated with the product system or activity, either through the identification and quantification of materials and energy used and waste introduced into the environment, as well as assess their impact on the environment. LCA method application also enables the calculation of greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with Directive 2009/28/EC on the promotion of energy from renewable sources. This paper presents the results of the simplified life cycle analysis of electricity production process from agricultural biogas used as an engine fuel. LCA analysis was conducted based on data from one of the national biogas plants. The selection criterion was based on the availability of substrates (maize silage, distillery slop and sugar beet pulp) and the possibility of obtaining high quality data for analysis (actual data based on the existing biogas plant). In addition, the environmental impact of the biogas power generation technology obtained through the methane fermentation process only of waste materials (distillery slop, sugar beet pulp) and coprocessing of waste and maize silage was compared.
