Abstract:
The textbook introduces modern methods and techniques for analyzing the activities of a commercial organization using the information contained in its financial statements prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards. Considerable attention is paid to the disclosure of calculation and analytical procedures for identifying and quantifying the impact of factors on the level of business performance. The presentation of each chapter is accompanied by practical calculation and analytical materials using the "cross-cutting task" technique, the initial information base of which is the actual financial statements of the company prepared in accordance with IFRS. After each chapter, there are control questions and tests for self-control. The tutorial includes a practical business game in the form of a built-in "Workbook". It is a solution of interrelated tasks using practical materials — the financial statements of a real commercial organization — and illustrates all the methodological methods of analysis contained in the textbook. Meets the requirements of the federal state educational standards of higher education of the latest generation. For students of higher educational institutions studying under bachelor's and master's degree programs in Economics, as well as teachers and postgraduates of economic specialties, students of the system of professional training and advanced training of accountants, auditors, financial managers, practitioners of financial and analytical services of organizations.

Abstract:
It is impractical to plan the further work of the company without taking into account analytical data for previous production periods. Analytical accounting data allows managers to build a company's strategy or make changes to an existing development plan. The importance of accounting for the enterprise plays a large role at the planning stage of the further business strategy. A competent manager studies accounting data before making the next decision regarding the company's finances. The easiest way to streamline accounting documents and eliminate errors in it is to conduct an internal audit. Such an audit will protect the company from possible fines and problems with tax audits. It will help optimize accounting and document flow, and simplify relations with banks and counterparties. Economic analysis aims to turn economic and non-economic information into useful information for decision making. Logical processing, study, generalization of facts, their systematization, conclusions, proposals, search for reserves - all these tasks are solved within the framework of economic analysis, which is designed to ensure the validity of management decisions and increase its effectiveness. This monograph is a collective work of teachers and students of the Department of Economic Security, Accounting and Law of the Don State Technical University. It is devoted to the consideration of certain issues of accounting, audit and economic analysis at the enterprise in modern conditions.

Abstract:
This chapter proposes an analysis that derives the word order variation in dependent clauses in OHG within a universal VO base order, plus additional cyclic leftward movement operations that target different information-structural projections in the complex left periphery of the clause. More precisely, it is argued that categories conveying contrastive information land in [Spec,FocP], with the finite verb targeting Foc° and marking the left edge of the new-information focus domain, while background information is placed further left, between ForceP and FocP. This positional realization of the verb and phrases expressing different semantic types of focus is considered a special strategy of disambiguating broad from narrow focus, as well as of avoiding the clash of two focus phrases in the middle field of clauses with multiple foci.

Abstract:
Chapter 7 incorporates the role of information in a very general way into the economic framework developed in Chapters 3–6. The focus of the analysis is to determine how information may affect preferences and therefore influence the demand curve and demand function for foods. The chapter evaluates possible changes in food consumption induced by a change in an information campaign relative to a nutrient or food recommendation level. It shows how other factors may moderate or offset informational campaigns that are designed to improve healthy food choices. The chapter closes with some of the main empirical findings relating different information campaigns to food and nutrition choices.
