El-Amin, Mohamed F. "Iterative Numerical Scheme for Non-Isothermal Two-Phase Flow in Heterogeneous Porous Media." Algorithms 12, no. 6 (June 6, 2019): 117. http://dx.doi.org/10.3390/a12060117.

Full text
Abstract:
In the current paper, an iterative algorithm is developed to simulate the problem of two-phase flow with heat transfer in porous media. The convective body force caused by heat transfer is described by Boussinesq approximation throughout with the governing equations, namely, pressure, saturation, and energy. The two coupled equations of pressure and saturation are solved using the implicit pressure-explicit saturation (IMPES) scheme, while the energy equation is treated implicitly, and the scheme is called iterative implicit pressure, explicit saturation, implicit temperature (I-IMPES-IMT). In order to calculate the pressure implicitly, the equations of pressure and saturation are coupled by linearizing the capillary pressure which is a function of saturation. After that, the equation of saturation is solved explicitly. Then, the velocity is computed which is used in the energy equation to calculate the temperature implicitly. The cell-centered finite difference (CCFD) method is utilized for spatial discretization. Furthermore, a relaxation factor along is used with the Courant–Friedrichs–Lewy (CFL) condition. Finally, in order to illustrate the efficiency of the developed algorithm, error estimates for saturation and temperature for different values of time steps and number of iterations are presented. Moreover, numerical examples of different physical scenarios of heterogamous media are presented.

Abstract:
This study researches the meanings of implicit utterances in Mat Luthfi’s vlog. This qualitative study employs relevance theory, a linguistics-based theory proposed by Sperber and Wilson drawn from the discipline of pragmatics. This theory foregrounds three main concepts comprising the role of context, cognitive effects and processing efforts. The research data consists of implicit dialogue uttered by characters in the video. Data were identified, transcribed, and subsequently analysed based on Relevance Theory. Library research was also used to further explore the implicit and Relevance Theory-based expressions. The findings show that there are ten utterances in the vlogs with implicit elements. These in turn indicate that the speaker wished to convey specific messages to listeners. This study explains that in the Malay community, utterings are various in meaning and are not merely confined to their literal meanings for correct understanding and interpretation. Hence, the meaning of an utterance is more easily understood when interpreted using the Relevance Theory.

Abstract:
AbstrakSetiap bahasa bersifat unik. Kata Kunci: Implisit, eksplisit, padanan kata, karakteristik bahasa AbstractEvery language is unique. Language has a specific way to state its idea. The Indonesian language has its way that differs from the Batak language in conveying their meaning, eventhough both belong to the same region, that is Indonesian territory. These two languages have their specific characteristics in expressing their thoughts. Meaning in a language can be defined implicitly and explicitly. To explain a meaning implicitly means that the meaning is expressed without using a particular word and a language structure, but the reader understands it. To tell a meaning explicitly implies that the meanings are expressed by using a word or by the language's structure. To convey the meaning explicitly or implicitly depends on thecontext or by some cirstumstaces and the lexicon's availability in a language. To express a meaning explicitly may avoid ambiguity, vagueness, and misunderstanding. But, describing the meaning explicitly all the time may cause ignorant, as if other people know nothing about the topic of the discussion. The data used is taken from Patik Ni Debata Nasampului Dohot Lapatanna for Batak Language and Dasa Titah for the Indonesian language. This writing shows that the Batak language uses straightforward way more in comparison to the Indonesian language. This study aims to draw a characteristic of the Batak language and Indonesian language, especially in expressing their meaning. Key words : Implicit, Explicit, equivalence, language characteristics

Abstract:
This research uses a qualitative approach with qualitative content analysis as a method to describe the hoaxes and the meaning of digital literacy competencies that are visualized in a comic strip distributed through an Instagram account @komikfunday. A total of 25 comic strips act as an analysis unit with subunits containing textual and non-textual comic elements from each comic strip panel. Qualitative interpretation of the content is divided into two levels namely the explicit meaning and the implicit meaning. Digital literacy competencies are adapted from the ten competencies developed by the Indonesian Digital Literacy Advocacy Networks (Japelidi). The result shows that the explicit meaning of each content is a mission to eradicate hoaxes along with tips and strategies that apply to all people. Also, the implicit meaning that is related to digital literacy competencies consists of six competencies called selecting, understanding, analyzing, verifying, evaluating and distributing. Overall, it can be interpreted that @komikfunday has fully integrated the competencies needed by each individual as a provision to fight hoaxes. Thus, it is expected to be present to encourage creative, innovative and collaborative movements in increasing the digital literacy competencies of the Indonesian people massively and evenly.

Abstract:
In order to solve (partial) differential equations, implicit midpoint rules are often employed as a powerful numerical method. The purpose of this paper is to introduce and study a class of new Picard-Mann iteration processes with mixed errors for the implicit midpoint rules, which is different from existing methods in the literature, and to analyze the convergence and stability of the proposed method. Further, some numerical examples and applications to optimal control problems with elliptic boundary value constraints are considered via the new Picard-Mann iterative approximations, which shows that the new Picard-Mann iteration process with mixed errors for the implicit midpoint rule of nonexpansive mappings is brand new and more effective than other related iterative processes.

Abstract:
Sedangkan konseptualisasi perbuatan terbentuk berdasarkan data metafora dengan ranah sasarannya antara lain: tindakan pemalsuan, tindakan maksiat, tindakan menyerang, tindakan menyentuh, dan tindakan pertanggungjawaban.(This paper describes the conceptualization of trait and action which formed by metaphors in the Koran. The messages in the Koranic verses are not only explicitly stated, but also those are implicitly stated using figurative language. The Koran also implicite many concepts of trait and action by metaphors with body elements, one of which is the hand. Data was analyzed by using cognitive semantics analysis. That approach was used to describe the relationship between conceptual systems and semantics structure contained in language. Source data is obtained from the Holy Koran. The conclusion is the conceptualization of trait is formed based on metaphorical data with the target domain, among others: miserly, giver, hate, and excessive. While the conceptualization of action is formed based on metaphorical data with the target domain, among others: forgery, immorality, assault, touch, and responsibility.)

Abstract:
In this paper, an implicit difference scheme is proposed and analyzed for a class of nonlinear fourth-order equations with the multi-term Riemann–Liouvile (R–L) fractional integral kernels. For the nonlinear convection term, we handle implicitly and attain a system of nonlinear algebraic equations by using the Galerkin method based on piecewise linear test functions. The Riemann–Liouvile fractional integral terms are treated by convolution quadrature. In order to obtain a fully discrete method, the standard central difference approximation is used to discretize the spatial derivative. The stability and convergence are rigorously proved by the discrete energy method. In addition, the existence and uniqueness of numerical solutions for nonlinear systems are proved strictly. Additionally, we introduce and compare the Besse relaxation algorithm, the Newton iterative method, and the linearized iterative algorithm for solving the nonlinear systems. Numerical results confirm the theoretical analysis and show the effectiveness of the method.

Abstract:
Advertising aims to convey a persuasive message so that the audience buys the products offered. Besides, it also contains implied ideology. The ideology is conveyed implicitly with visuals and words in the advertisement. This study aimed to examine the ideology implied in the five advertisements for children's milk broadcast on television. This research used the content analysis research method. The population was children's milk advertisements broadcast on television. The samples were the five advertisements for children's milk that were consumed the most in 2020, i.e. Enfagrow, Pediasure, Chil Kid Morinaga, Nestle Lactogrow, and SGM. The units studied were physical, syntactic, and thematic units. The study results showed that the advertisements for children's milk contain an implied ideology. The ideology was motherism ideology, where a mother is fully responsible for family integrity and domestic work. This was shown from the most dominant vocabulary that appeared in the advertisement, explanation of the milk, the role that is dominated by the mother, and scenes that occur in the advertisement. Some advertisements showed father figures and citizens as extras. However, the mother role who made milk in kitchen, and was responsible for the ideas initiated by her child, showed the motherism ideology implicitly.

Abstract:
Brands have economic value so protection is needed. Brand protection arises when registered. But this is excluded against brands that contain elements of decency. In reality many businesses use brands with the word, logo plus taglines that contain pornographic elements. The problem is seen if the brand continues to operate in the middle of society and even penetrated into social media. Based on the results of the study, the arrangement of brand taglines containing pornographic elements on social media is not specifically regulated but spread across various laws and regulations and there is overlapping. In fact the @ngocok.eskopi account with the trademark "Ngocok Es Kopi" passes as a registered trademark. Whereas when viewed with great disalness, both brands, logos and taglines used on social media have given implicit perceptions or images of pornography. In the era of digitization, social media is a potential media for means of promotion, it is fitting that there are special arrangements such as conventional promotion. Various regulations must also be integrated, such as the use of accounts on social media using legal identity (KTP), applying the tagline as a brand definition in the parent rule of the MIG Law, the passing of registered brands is the responsibility of regulators (human factors) and should not be charged to the system alone (technological factors), expanding the limitations of pornography to be explicit and implicit.

Abstract:
AbstractIn numerical solving boundary value problems for parabolic equations, two- or three-level implicit schemes are in common use. Their computational implementation is based on solving a discrete elliptic problem at a new time level. For this purpose, various iterative methods are applied to multidimensional problems evaluating an approximate solution with some error. It is necessary to ensure that these errors do not violate the stability of the approximate solution, i.e., the approximate solution must converge to the exact one. In the present paper, these questions are investigated in numerical solving a Cauchy problem for a linear evolutionary equation of first order, which is considered in a finite-dimensional Hilbert space. The study is based on the general theory of stability (well-posedness) of operator-difference schemes developed by Samarskii. The iterative methods used in the study are considered from the same general positions.

Abstract:
Recently, Aydi et al. [On fixed point results for α-implicit contractions in quasi-metric spaces and consequences, Nonlinear Anal. Model. Control, 21(1):40–56, 2016] proved some fixed point results involving α-implicit contractive conditions in quasi-b-metric spaces. In this paper we extend and improve these results and derive some new fixed point theorems for implicit contractions in ordered quasi-b-metric spaces. Moreover, some examples and an application to integral equations are given here to illustrate the usability of the obtained results.
