Full textThe thesis aims to reconstruct the history of the text of Matt 27:51b-53. This brief composition, probably a hymn, is particularly relevant for its arrangement in the passion narrative, which is the most important point of the Gospel’s kerygma. By applying a methodology that takes into consideration the peculiarity of the origin, the redaction, and the transmission of the earliest Christian literature, these verses are assumed as a study case, in order to value the indirect tradition in the reconstruction of the text of the New Testament. The work is divided into two parts: the first one, philological, brings out, through the indirect quotations, the earliest form of the text, which is partly different from the canonical one. Here, the sentence «after his resurrection» is relevant because it was not present in the primitive text. The second section analyses the context and the employment of the Matthean pericope in order to confirm the hypothesis of the hymn. It might have been a liturgical material, perhaps Jewish-Christian, used by the community and added to the Gospel by the redactor. Finally, this study takes into account the theological reasons that could have caused, within the third and fourth centuries, the modification of the earliest text.

Full textO objeto de estudo desta pesquisa é o uso dos conectores discursivos nas produções escritas de aprendentes universitários, falantes de Português Brasileiro, alunos do Curso de Letras que estudam formalmente o Espanhol como Língua Estrangeira há 1 ano e 6 meses. Pretendemos perscrutar o uso correto e incorreto dos conectivos, nesses textos, para conhecer as dificuldades enfrentadas pelos estudantes no processo de aquisição/aprendizagem de uma Língua Estrangeira tão próxima à sua Língua Materna. Os dados que conformam o corpus de investigação são descritos e analisados por meio do modelo de pesquisa da Análise de Erros, fundamentado pela Pragmática e pela Análise do Discurso. Foram examinados 36 textos de 6 sujeitos, amostra representativa de 130 produções dos informantes com idade entre 19 e 35 anos. Trata-se de um estudo sincrônico, longitudinal e seccional por amostragem que acompanhou os participantes do 3º ao 4º ano do Curso de Letras de uma universidade pública de Mato Grosso do Sul, ofertado na cidade de Dourados.
The objective of study of this research is the use of the discourse connectors in writing productions of university learners, Brazilian Portuguese speakers, students from Letters Course who formally are studying Spanish as a foreign language for a year and a half. We objectified to investigate the correct and incorrect use of the connectives in those texts to recognize the difficulties faced by the students in the process of acquisition/learning of a so close foreign language of their native language. The data which conform the corpus of the investigation are described and analyzed through the pattern of research on Errors Analysis, well-founded by the Pragmatic and the Discourse Analysis. The representative cast of 130 productions by informers with the ages between 19 and 35, were analyzed 36 texts with 6 subjects. This is a matter of a longitudinal synchronous study through the sampling which went along with the announcers from junior and senior of the Letters Course of a public university in Mato Grosso do Sul, offered by the City of Dourados.

Full textThe paper aims to give a critical and annotated edition of poems that Michelangelo chose in about 1546, according to a project which was not carried out, but many traces of which are preserved in the manuscripts. The work is divided as follows: Note to the text. Illustration of the main textual problems faced while working at the edition and of the criteria used in transcribing the poems. Edition, paraphrase and commentary. The comment, by finding models and parallel places, aims to highlight the relationship between Michelangelo and the literary tradition, even beyond the canonical sources, repeatedly mentioned in modern editions (Dante’s Divine Comedy and Petrarch of Rvf). Full textThis work is study on the recception of Shakespeare from 1939 until 1975 (Franco´s dictatorship in Spain). The study starts in the canon observed in the Shakespere´s performances from 1772 until 1936, from the very first productions, to continue analysing Shakespere´s theatre at Primo de Rivera´s dictatorship and the 2nd. Spanish Republic. This introduction will guide us to see possible influences when studying the Francoist canon and its way of performing Shakespeare´s plays. I am also deepening in the cultural and political background, determining which was the role placed by censhorship and ideology in Spain. There is also an interesting account on the Shakespeare´s performances in Fascist countries at the same time to see possible parallelisms. For the study of Shakespeare´s canon I have been using the press at that time, as well as censorship files and photo collections. Bearing all that mind I am conforming some conclusions on Shakespeare´s reception at the Spa nish National Theatres.

Full textIn this study we investigate the main characteristics of the oral speech of brazilians Spanish teachers as foreign language group. Our main objective was identifying at what extent the Portuguese interference was present. The data was obtained through recordings of classes and oral interviews. The data analysis was based on the method of error analysis and contrastive linguistics through the contrast of different dictionaries. We studied the frequency of errors and described and explained the different types of lexical errors. The results show that: teachers have an interlanguage characterized by a high rate of both inter and intralinguistic errors; interlinguistic errors are more common than intralinguistic errors and lexical errors are the most frequently. The conclusions suggest the need of continuous training courses to develop the teachers' linguistic competence and advise a readjustment of degree programs for teacher training, based on specific features that involves learning a similar language.

Uppsatsen använder ett domänanalytiskt perspektiv av Birger Hjørland and Hanne Albrechtsen. Metadatan har samlats in från Web of Science och datasetet består material från tidsperioden 2016-2020 från tidskrifterna AkkAncient Near Eastern studies, adica, Journal of Near Eastern Studies, Journal of Ancient Near Eastern Religions and Zeitschrift für Assyriologie und Vorderasiatische Archäologie. Domänen studerades genom att analysera citeringar, materialet, språken, vart materialet publicerades, åldern på referenserna och författarna genom att visualisera mönster i figurer och tabeller. Forskningssamarbeten analyserades för att visa samarbeten mellan länder. Innehållet analyserades med en cociteringsanalys av referenser och en cowordanalys av titelord för att visualisera kognitiva strukturer inom domänen. Studien fann att cowordanalys gav en generell bild av olika kongnitiva strukturer men det fanns få tydliga strukturer. Cociteringsanalysen hittade fler tydliga strukturer men referenserna hade få citeringar och det är därmed möjligt att det inte representerar hela domänen. Det var effektivt att använda sig av tabeller och figurer för att visualisera olika aspekter inom domänen. Sammansfattningsvis, bibliometri var användart för att få nya kunskaper om domänen assyriologi.

Full textA corpus-based method has been developed to facilitate the semi-automatic detection of specialized vocabulary, by combining qualitative and quantitative criteria in relation to the variables of frequency, distribution, restriction and representativiness of a lexical unit in a specialized domain. The specific corpus designed and compiled for research purposes covers the academic and professional written English of Telecommunication Engineering (5.5 millions words).The obtained lexical repertoire is a list of the statistically most significant and representative specialized forms within a range of different degrees of specialization. There are both highly technical terms restricted to the domain and lexical units from the general, academic and other subject areas language, which activate a specialized meaning in telecommunications.The lexical characterization is completed with the study of sintagmatic relations by exploring adjacent collocates, significant collocates, specialized combinations and clusters.

Full text[ES] Desde hace más de dos décadas la imagen del pueblo colombiano se ha venido construyendo gota a gota. La atmosfera que ha encerrado su imagen y el universo léxico delimitado a temáticas especificas, han dictado el referente discursivo en los diarios españoles con patrones concretos, vinculados principalmente a la inmigración, crimen, sicariato y narcotráfico. Las constantes publicaciones de estas temáticas tendieron a resaltar características y manifestaciones de referente claramente negativo, donde la argumentación se elaboró desde la inestabilidad y la delincuencia. De esta forma, los diarios nacionales españoles centraron sus publicaciones, en su mayoría, a sucesos delictivos de colombianos en España que iban desde el robo hasta el asesinato, y de Colombia desde la pobreza hasta la violencia extrema, provocando una reacción directa en los imaginarios de los lectores y diseminando la representación de este colectivo como delincuentes, pobres y marginados víctimas de la guerra interna y victimarios por ser los narcotraficantes. La adjetivación y el señalamiento posibilitaron tener un referente claro con características concretas. Esta imagen acuñada en sus pensamientos permitió tener un referente de este colectivo, incluso en noticias donde no se señaló la nacionalidad del implicado. Las políticas de gobierno con referente a la inmigración, disimuladas a través de los medios, lograron instaurar un sentido de miedo y rechazo hacia el colectivo colombiano. De esta manera, la transmisión de información enfocada principalmente en hechos delictivos y bajo el argumento de los organismos de estado, se transformó en opinión pública nacional. Desde este marco referencial, el presente trabajo de investigación examina la imagen del pueblo colombiano recreado en los diarios españoles a través del uso léxico y temático de sus publicaciones en el 2011. El estudio se centra en palabras clave que representan a este pueblo (C5: Colombia, colombiano, colombiana, colombianos y colombianas) que concretan la idea en los imaginarios de los receptores. El análisis tiene como meta identificar, mediante el análisis discursivo cuantitativo y cualitativo, patrones que ayudan a la creación de una imagen parcializada del colombiano, como también resaltar la continuidad de los mismos patrones contrastando los resultados de los análisis con anteriores investigaciones realizadas hacia el C5. Para lograr este objetivo, el corpus de noticias periodísticas está constituído con unas 821,321 palabras, extraídas de las hemerotecas digitales de éstos dos diarios que están entre los de mayor tirada en el territorio español. Todas las noticias fueron publicadas entre el 1 enero y el 31 de diciembre de 2011. Este corpus nos permitió analizar las publicaciones de 1491 artículos donde se mencionó de alguna forma a las variantes de C5. Para concretar el fin, el método de análisis utilizó elementos de la lingüística del corpus, así como herramientas y enfoques propios del análisis de contenido (cuantitativo) y del análisis crítico del discurso (discursivo). El marco teórico se basó principalmente en estudios sobre el papel del periodismo, ideas principales de la Agenda setting, Teoría del encuadre (Frame), Teoría de la relevancia, Lengua y poder, Herramientas de persuasión, control y manipulación, Discurso formador de ideología, Operación LUDECO, Estereotipo, y del Análisis crítico del discurso. Conforme al estudio de los sistemas básicos de creencias compartidas, todavía se continúan organizando en el imaginario de los receptores la representación del colombiano enmarcado dentro de la connotación descrita anteriormente. En este sentido, esto sería solo una forma de indicar que el poder de los medios de comunicación ejerce un control y dominio que se refleja en lo discursivo en el trabajo de los productos comunicativos, y que podría representar una forma de reproducción directa del poder de la
[CAT] Des de fa més de dos dècades la imatge del poble colombià s'ha construït gota a gota. L'atmosfera que ha tancat la seua imatge i l'univers lèxic delimitat a temàtiques específiques, han dictat el referent discursiu en els diaris espanyols amb patrons concrets, vinculats principalment a la immigració, crim, sicariat i narcotràfic. Les constants publicacions d'estes temàtiques van tendir a ressaltar característiques i manifestacions de referent clarament negatiu, on l'argumentació es va elaborar des de la inestabilitat i la delinqüència. D'esta manera, els diaris nacionals espanyols van centrar les seues publicacions, majoritàriament, a successos delictius de colombians a Espanya que anaven des del robatori fins a l'assassinat, i de Colòmbia des dela pobresa fins a la violència extrema, provocant una reacció directa en els imaginaris dels lectors i disseminant la representació d'este col.lectiu com a delinqüents, pobres i marginats víctimes de la guerra interna i victimaris per ser els narcotraficants. L'adjectivació i l'assenyalament van possibilitar tindre un referent clar amb característiques concretes. Estaimatge encunyada en els seus pensaments va permetre tindre un referent d'este col.lectiu, fins i tot en notícies on no es va assenyalar la nacionalitat de l'implicat. Les polítiques de govern amb referent a la immigració, dissimulades a través dels mitjans, van aconseguir instaurar un sentit de por i rebuig cap al col.lectiu colombià. Full textEsta tesis doctoral presenta un estudio experimental sobre la coarticulación en secuencias de V+/l/ i V+/r/ en posición final en palabras tónicas monosilábicas del inglés americano. Los detalles de este proceso coarticulatorio entre vocal y consonante se investigan con el objetivo de contribuir a una mejor comprensión de la naturaleza fonética y fonológica de estas secuencias. Los trabajos existentes sobre este fenómeno han aportado explicaciones fonológicas en términos de inserción o epéntesis segmental y se han limitado a estudiar un grupo reducido de vocales. El estudio que aquí se presenta pretende mostrar que las transiciones entre vocal y consonante son en realidad el resultado de un proceso de coarticulación que está presente en todas las vocales de la lengua. Para ello se utilizaron dos variables, la velocidad del habla y el contexto, y se obtuvieron datos de seis hablantes nativos de inglés americano. El papel de la velocidad del habla y el contexto se ha determinado mediante la observación de la variabilidad de la duración y el espectro en la vocal y en la transición, así como comparando los valores de duración y espectro en la vocal y en la transición en diferentes velocidades (lenta y rápida) y contextos (para cada una de las secuencias de V+/l/ y V+/r/). Los resultados obtenidos demuestran no solo la existencia de procesos coarticulatorios en todos los contextos sino que también muestran la naturaleza y la extensión de la coarticulación entre vocal y consonante en las secuencias de V+/l/ y V+/r/. Específicamente, estos datos muestran las características de duración y espectro tanto de la vocal como de un elemento de naturaleza dinámica en las transiciones entre vocales y consonantes cuya presencia se entiende en relación a la vocal. La alta variabilidad que se puede observar en este elemento transitorio en función del contexto y, sobre todo, de la velocidad del habla se interpreta como demostración de que la transición es el resultado de un proceso de coarticulación y no de inserción o epéntesis.
This dissertation presents an experimental study of coarticulation in final V+/l/ and V+/r/ sequences in American English stressed monosyllables. The details of the VC coarticulatory processes are investigated in an attempt to contribute to a better understanding of the phonetic and phonological nature of these sequences. Previous accounts of this phenomenon provided phonological explanations in terms of segmental insertion or epenthesis and were limited to a small set of vowels. The present study sets out to show that VC transitions are best understood as the result of a phonetic process of coarticulation which is present in all the vowels of the language. For this purpose, two variables, speaking rate and context, were manipulated and acoustic data were obtained from six native speakers of American English. The roles of speaking rate and context are determined by looking into the durational and spectral variability in the vowel and the transition as well as by comparing durational and spectral values in the vowel and the transition across different speaking rates (i.e., slow and fast) and contexts (i.e., each of the vowels in the V+/l/ and V+/r/ sequences). The results not only provide evidence of the existence of such coarticulatory processes in all contexts, but they also reveal the nature and extent of VC coarticulation in V+/l/ and V+/r/ sequences. In particular, these data show the durational and spectral characteristics of both the vowel and a dynamic vocalic element in the VC transition whose presence is explained in relation to the vowel. The high variability observed in the transitional element as a function of context and, especially, rate is taken as evidence that the transition is the result of a process of coarticulation rather than insertion or epenthesis.

Full textThe main area of research of this PhD dissertation is the study of language by means of corpus-based techniques -in other words, by means of a computational and quantitative analysis. The aim was to carry out quantitative and qualitative structural and lexical analysis and comparison of two specific texts in the genre of drama -The Fourth Folio Edition of The Tragedy of Hamlet Prince of Denmark (1685) by Shakespeare and the English translation of Gamlet (1787) [1748] by the Russian playwright Sumarokov, translated from Russian by Richard Fortune in 1970. The analysis, comparison and interpretation of data related to the structural and thematic patterns were carried out per act: intra-play (in each play, separately) and inter-plays (between Hamlet and Gamlet). Accordingly, various computational tools were applied to reveal the differences in the social and organisational structures of the plays through quantitative and qualitative analysis of the distribution patterns of the presence, intervention and interaction variables of all the characters, both main and secondary. Quantitative and analytical corpus-based methodologies were used to analyse and compare thematic alterations between the two plays -in other words, the (dis)similarities in the authors' religious, socio-political, family, moral, philosophical and artistic conceptions- identified on the basis of the most frequent content words (open-class items), particularly nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs. The key findings indicate important differences between the structures of the plays per acts, that is, significant divergences in the authors' perceptions of the characters and the complexity of their relationships. Another essential finding suggests obvious distinctions between both texts' basic contents per act: intra-play and inter-plays. In general, the findings uncover wide-ranging dissimilarities in the structural and thematic patterns in Hamlet versus Gamlet.

Full textThis is an analytico-descriptive thesis, written for diagnosis purposes, which investigates the relationship between the curricular guidelines for the teaching of English at the secondary level in the Spanish education system (communicative approach) and the actual application of those guidelines in real language classrooms. The methodology used for the the investigation is the so-called classroom observation. Also, a corpus of 1º Bachillerato English language lessons is described and analyzed, in two main formats: in tables (for the sake of objectivity and to facilitate data systematization) and in written analysis (descriptions). Next, conclusions are drawn where it clearly shows that the methodology employed in those lessons is not communicative. Finally, aspects of the day-to-day in language classrooms come out that contribute to explain why the communicative methodology is not used in the lessons observed and why foreign language learning in our country is not as fruitful as it would be desirable.

Full textLa presente tesis consiste en un análisis comparativo de tres géneros de discurso ?conversación informal (lengua oral prototípica), clase magistral (género intermedio) y prosa académica (lengua escrita prototípica)? en catalán, en tres aspectos de la estructuración y la complejidad lingüística: la densidad léxica, la composición oracional y la conexión textual (total: 90 rasgos léxicos, gramaticales y textuales analizados). Los objetivos principales son a/ dotar la lingüística catalana de una descripción detallada, hasta ahora inexistente, del contraste lingüístico entre oralidad y escritura, y b/ hacer una aportación a la investigación internacional sobre el tema para intervenir, por un lado, en el debate originado sobre la complejidad sintáctica y, especialmente, sobre la presencia de oraciones subordinadas en los dos modos de discurso y, por otro lado, para ampliar este tipo de investigación al ámbito del discurso, como han reclamado algunos tratadistas.
The present work consists of a comparative analysis of three discourse genres --informal conversation (prototypical oral language), academic lecture (intermediate genre), and academic prose (prototypical written language)-- in Catalan, focusing on three aspects of linguistic structure and complexity: lexical density, sentence composition, and textual connexion (total: 90 lexical, grammatical, and textual features analysed). The main purposes are: (a) to provide Catalan linguistics with a detailed description --non-available so far-- of the linguistic opposition between literacy and speech; and (b) to make a contribution to the international research in this field in order to, on the one hand, participate in the discussion about the syntactic complexity, and, especially, about the presence of subordinated clauses in the two modes of discourse, and, on the other, extend this kind of research to the discourse level, as some researchers have claimed.
