Abstract:

El presente artículo analiza la reelección presidencial en los países andinos. El debate se aborda desde la perspectiva de Jon Elster quien interpreta el constitucionalismo como un mecanismo de compromisos previos, en el que se establecen amarres o limitaciones institucionales para evitar que en tiempo futuro el gobernante se extra-limite por el exceso de poder –“cantos de sirena”–. En este sentido se establecen trayectorias que permitieron-restringieron la reelección presidencial en los países del área andina, en las que la influencia del gobernante en ejercicio fue determinante para sus diferentes desenlaces: auto-marre, des-amarre institucional, o amarrar a “otros”.

Abstract:

En esta investigación se realiza un estudio de un producto de madera a base del árbol de Teca (Tectona grandis). Se obtiene una productividad para la madera y un coeficiente de aprovechamiento para cada uno de los componentes resultantes en 4 patas, 4 amarres y 4 sobres por tabla y coeficiente de aprovechamiento general de 73%. Se estima además un residuo de 27% por mesa representando 1.60 kg/hora, para una resultado de 873.6 kg/hora para los 78 productores afiliados a la cooperativa, información que podría reunir de referencia para evaluar la factibilidad técnica y económica de que esta pueda respaldar la importancia de un gasificador para generación eléctrica.

Résumé L’auteur entend s’opposer dans le présent article à une lecture courante, qu’il appelle dichotomique, des positions de John Rawls et de Jürgen Habermas au sujet des sources de la légitimité du droit dans nos sociétés. Selon cette lecture, J. Rawls se présenterait comme le défenseur d’un fondationnalisme des droits et J. Habermas comme le partisan d’une forme de démocratie « radicale » qui aurait rompu les amarres avec la tradition du contractualisme libéral. L’auteur fait valoir que les divergences présumées entre les deux philosophes sont beaucoup moins grandes qu’on ne le pense et qu’il s’agit en fait de différences d’accent, non de différences principielles. Il défend l’idée que le projet de démocratie délibérative de J. Habermas est moins radical et que les assises démocratiques du modèle de la raison publique de J. Rawls sont moins déficientes que ne le pensent les partisans de la lecture dichotomique.

Abstract:

En Colombia, uno de los elementos más comúnmente usados en el amarre y sujeción de cables de acero dentro de sus diferentes aplicaciones, son los prensacables o grapas, los cuales se conocen más corrientemente como perros. A pesar de ser tan conocidos y utilizados, es poca la información técnica que se tiene acerca de estos elementos, debido a que no ha existido la suficiente investigación pertinente. Esto hace que exista una gran incertidumbre respecto a la colocación, montaje, resistencia y comportamiento de los prensacables. En recientes ensayos se ha demostrado que los prensacables usados para asegurar los cables de acero en diferentes tipos de estructuras se deslizan a una carga menor que la carga de rotura de los cables que amarran. Actualmente, los diseños se realizan según la carga de rotura de los cables, por lo cual es importante estimar la carga de deslizamiento de los prensacables para que los diseños sean adecuados. Preocupada por esta situación, la Unidad de Estructuras de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia realizó un estudio tendiente a minimizar la incertidumbre existente en el empleo de esos elementos de sujeción. Para tal efecto, se efectuaron una serie de ensayos de tensión sobre probetas de cable de 1/2" y 3/4" de diámetro, amarradas con diferentes números de prensacables de diámetros respectivos. Se utilizaron prensacables de tres marcas, dos nacionales y una importada. Con base en estos ensayos se encontró que el torque aplicado a la tuerca del prensacable cuando se realiza el montaje de éste sobre un cable, es el parámetro fundamental para un adecuado comportamiento del mismo. Además, debe colocarse una cantidad mínima de prensacables del mismo diámetro del cable que se va a amarrar para que haya una adecuada sujeción. Otro parámetro que se encontró importante fue la orientación de los prensacables en el montaje respecto a la punta muerta (lado corto) del cable.

Azterlan honetan azaltzen dira, halaber, Legeak ebatzi gabeko zenbait alderdi, gainerako autonomia‑erkidegoetan eman diren portu-arauekiko konparazioaren ikuspegitik. ABSTRACT: Marinas fall within the competence of the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country and therefore part of the objective scope of the recent Law 2/2018, of 28 June, on Ports and Maritime Transport of the Basque Country. The paper examines the most important aspects introduced concerning marinas, such as the new organisational model, the services and public domain management, with particular consideration of the regime of moorings and possible non-strictly port uses that may develop in such ports. The research also reviews those aspects that the Law does not resolve and from a comparative perspective of the regulation of marinas in Autonomous Communities. RESUMEN: Los puertos deportivos son de competencia de la Comunidad Autónoma de Euskadi y parte, por tanto, del ámbito objetivo de aplicación de la reciente Ley 2/2018, de 28 junio, de Puertos y Transporte Marítimo del País Vasco. El trabajo examina los aspectos de mayor relieve que introduce la Ley en relación a los puertos deportivos, tales como el nuevo modelo organizativo, el régimen de gestión de los servicios y del dominio público portuarios, con especial consideración del régimen de los amarres y de los posibles usos no estrictamente portuarios que pueden desarrollarse en este tipo de puertos. El estudio se realiza exponiendo, también, aquellos aspectos que la Ley no resuelve y desde una perspectiva comparativa de la regulación de puertos que se ha dictado en el resto de Comunidades Autónomas.

Abstract:

The anatomy of stems and leaves of two populations of the weed species Amaranthus retroflexus L. (red-root amaranth) (pop. AMARE1 having green stems covered in sparse hairs and pop. AMARE2 with green but notably dense stem hairs) was analysed in order better to understand the uptake and translocation of herbicides that could be indicative of the species' evolving resistance to herbicides. Samples of the two populations (AMARE1 and AMARE2) were collected from arable land of the Institute of Maize Research at Zemun Polje in 2006. Sampling was performed at the stage of full vegetative growth of plants. Permanent microscoping preparations were made to measure and analyze elements of the anatomy of stems (stem epidermis, cortex, collenchyma, central cylinder and diameter) and leaves (leaf epidermis upper surface and underside, mesophyll, leaf thickness and bundle sheath thickness). Both analysed populations of A. retroflexus, morphologically characterized by different density of stem hairiness, were found to have a typical structure of herbaceous dicots. The stem had three distinctive zones: epidermis, cortex and central cylinder. Amaranth leaves have dorsoventral structure, i.e. their upper surface and underside can be differentiated. The results indicated high and very high significance of differences found in stem anatomy between the two analysed populations, while leaf anatomy was not found to display significant differences other than in mesophyll thickness.

A personagem enlouquecida amarrada ao pé do castanheiro de "Cem anos de solidão" serve-nos de metáfora para as amarras que a institucionalização pode propiciar. Como fazer para que uma Residência Terapêutica (RT), por não oferecer as mesmas amarras das instituições psiquiátricas, possa ter a função de um espaço transitório para outro lugar? Para tentar responder esta questão construímos uma aproximação entre o ambiente facilitador e o meio que a RT representa a partir dos conceitos de Winnicott.

Abstract:

El reducido amarre de frutos es un factor que limita la producción de manzana (Malus X domestica Borkh) en el noroeste de México. En Cuauhtémoc y Guerrero, Chih. se evaluó el efecto de los polinizadores ‘Winter Banana’, ‘Snow Drift’, ‘Manchurian’ y ‘Rome Beauty’ en los cultivares ‘RedChief Delicious’, ‘Golden Delicious’ y ‘Golden Delicious Tardío’, durante los ciclos 2000 y 2001. Las variables consideradas fueron la ocurrencia de la plena floración y el amarre inicial de frutos con polinizaciones manuales. La plena floración de ‘Manchurian’, ‘Snow Drift’ y ‘Winter Banana’ se traslapó con ‘RedChief Delicious’; pero no con ‘Golden Delicious’, ni ‘Golden Delicious Tardío’. La plena floración de ‘Rome Beauty’ se traslapó con ‘Golden Delicious Tardío’. En las polinizaciones manuales, ‘Golden Delicious Tardío’ logró un cuajado de 20 % de frutos con la polinización abierta y la incrementó a 90 % cuando se polinizó con ‘Rome Beauty’. ‘Golden Delicious’ presentó un amarre inicial de frutos de 98 % al polinizarse con ‘Snow Drift’, en comparación con 61 % mediante polinización abierta. Las polinizaciones con ‘Winter Banana’ presentaron los valores más bajos (14 %) en cuajado inicial de fruto.

Abstract:

A gestão do desempenho está presente em todas as organizações focadas no desenvolvimento dos colaboradores, iniciando pela liderança em seus Soft Skills e Hard Skills, ou seja, uma compreensão dos aspectos cognitivos comportamentais e conceitos técnicos e atualização na maneira de como conduz o grupo a resultados. Para isso, serão apreciadas técnicas clássicas de avaliação, como conceituação histórica, bem como as mais contemporâneas, a fim de que possam ser desenvolvidas e aplicadas na organização, respeitando a cultura organizacional e o modelo de gestão empregado. O artigo não pretende entrar a fundo na apresentação das técnicas, sendo apenas um estímulo ao leitor na pesquisa de cada uma delas. A contribuição deste artigo pretende ir ao encontro dos anseios individuais e ao alcance dos macros objetivos organizacionais. As ideias aqui apresentadas servirão como base para o prosseguimento dos estudos referentes ao preparo do gestor de desempenho.

Abstract:

ABSTRACTThe overgrowth ofGordonia amarae-like bacteria in the mixed liquor of an incompletely nitrifying water reclamation plant was inversely correlated with temperature (r= −0.78;P< 0.005) and positively correlated with the solids retention time (SRT) obtained a week prior to sampling (r= 0.67;P< 0.005). Drops followed by spikes in the food-to-mass ratio (0.18 to 0.52) and biochemical oxygen demand concentrations in primary effluent (94 to 298 mg liter−1) occurred at the initiation ofG. amarae-like bacterial growth. The total bacterial concentration did not increase as concentrations ofG. amarae-like cells increased, but total bacterial cell concentrations fluctuated in a manner similar to that ofG. amarae-like bacteria in the pseudo-steady state. The ammonium ion removal rate (percent) was inversely related toG. amarae-like cell concentrations during accelerated growth and washout phases. The dissolved oxygen concentration decreased as theG. amarae-like cell concentration decreased. The concentrations ofG. amarae-like cells peaked (2.47 × 109cells liter−1) approximately 1.5 months prior to foaming. Foaming occurred during the late pseudo-steady-state phase, when temperature declines reversed. These findings suggested that temperature changes triggered operational and physicochemical changes favorable to the growth ofG. amarae-like bacteria. Fine-scale quantitative PCR (qPCR) monitoring at weekly intervals allowed a better understanding of the factors affecting this organism and indicated that frequent sampling was required to obtain statistical significance with factors changing as the concentrations of this organism increased. Furthermore, the early identification ofG. amarae-like cells when they are confined to mixed liquor (107cells liter−1) allows management strategies to prevent foaming.

Abstract:

El propósito de este artículo es interpretar antropológicamente los mensajes y las imágenes de los volantes que reparten en las calles para publicitar el consumo de la magia amorosa. En ese sentido, se describe y sistematiza su contenido, se interpreta el papel que desempeñan quienes realizan los rituales y los ideales amorosos que difunden los individuos que comercializan con estos productos culturales. La metodología se centra en el contraste de cien volantes recolectados en algunas ciudades colombianas durante los últimos ocho años. Así, se encontró que la publicidad callejera de la magia amorosa está centrada en el ritual de la liga o el amarre, que no solo es apetecido por sectores populares o por mujeres, sino que este recurso de asistencia amorosa es frecuentado por diversos sectores socioeconómicos, donde cada uno encuentra administradores de lo mágico según sus respectivos capitales culturales. El amor es uno de los ámbitos que merece mayor atención en la vida cotidiana, pues, en términos generales, sostener los vínculos amorosos y sexuales con una pareja en particular es un sofisma de felicidad y de seguridad para muchas personas. El ritual del amarre representa violencias simbólicas relacionadas con la humillación y la dominación. Cabe añadir que este tema es relevante, puesto que innova en el estudio de la magia y de los sincretismos religiosos, pues analiza lo que dicen los volantes que brindan la posibilidad de solucionar el abandono y la infidelidad a través del recurso del amarre en secreto y a distancia.

Gordonia amarae is a right-angled branching filament belonging to the mycolic acid-containing Actinobacteria which is commonly found in many foaming activated sludge wastewater treatment plants. Although studies on different substrates as sole carbon sources by pure cultures of G. amarae have been carried out, none have examined substrate uptake by this organism in situ. Uptake of several hydrophilic and hydrophobic substrates by G. amarae was evaluated in situ using a combination of fluorescence in situ hybridization and microautoradiography. G. amarae could assimilate a range of both hydrophilic and hydrophobic substrates. From the data, G. amarae appears to be physiologically active under aerobic, anaerobic and anoxic condition (NO2 and NO3) for some substrates. This might explain why attempts to control foaming caused by G. amarae using anoxic and anaerobic selectors have been unsuccessful. This study emphasizes that bacteria can behave differently in situ to pure cultures and that it is important to evaluate the in situ physiology of these bacteria if we are to better understand their role in the wastewater treatment process.

The following three oligonucleotide probes were designed: a species-specific probe forG. amarae, a probe specific for group 1, and a probe targeting group 2. The probes were characterized by dissociation temperature and specificity studies, and the species-specific probe was evaluated for use in fluorescent in situ hybridizations. By using the group-specific probes, it was possible to place additional G. amarae isolates in their respective groups. The probes were used along with previously designed probes in membrane hybridizations to determine the abundance of G. amarae, group 1, group 2, bacterial, mycolata, and Gordona rRNAs in samples obtained from foaming activated sludge systems in California, Illinois, and Wisconsin. The target groups were present in significantly greater concentrations in activated sludge foam than in mixed liquor and persisted in anaerobic digesters. Hybridization results indicated that the presence of certain G. amarae strains may be regional or treatment plant specific and that previously uncharacterizedG. amarae strains may be present in some systems.

El objetivo de esta investigación ha sido demostrar que el uso de la técnica del amarre iliofemoral utilizando la sutura de anclaje corrige las luxaciones coxofemorales craneodorsales en perros (Canis familiaris). La recolección de datos y la realización de esta investigación se iniciaron en el mes de marzo y finalizó en el mes de agosto del 2010. La muestra constó de 7 caninos urbano-hogareños que fueron diagnosticados radiológicamente con luxación coxofemoral craneodorsal. De acuerdo con los registros de estado clínico prequirúrgico y posquirúrgico, se encontró que el 100 % de los pacientes se recuperó completamente en un tiempo menor a los 30 días posteriores a la cirugía. Purpose. To compare clinical outcomes following LASIK for myopia performed with MEL 90 vs. Schwind Amaris 750S excimer laser. Methods. Data were collected retrospectively for patients who underwent Femto-LASIK, using the MEL 90 and Schwind Amaris 750S excimer laser for correction of myopia and myopic astigmatism within the range of −1.00 to −10.00 D SE from January 2013 till June 2018. Outcomes were analysed at 12 months for safety, efficacy, enhancement rate, and long-term complications. Results. A total of 328 eyes of 328 patients were analysed. One hundred and sixty-three eyes were treated with Schwind Amaris and the remaining 165 eyes with the MEL 90 laser. Twelve months postoperatively, the mean UDVA, CDVA, residual SE, and cylinder in the Amaris group were −0.10 ± 0.09 logMAR, −0.14 ± 0.06 logMAR, −0.21 ± 0.22 D, −0.13 ± 0.18 D versus −0.05 ± 0.07 logMAR, −0.09 ± 0.08 logMAR, −0.23 ± 0.23 D, and −0.14 ± 0.21 D for the MEL 90 group ( p values >0.05). For the Amaris group, safety and efficacy indices were 1.12 and 1.02, whereas for the MEL 90 group, these indices were 1.08 and 1.00, respectively. No eye in either group had any postop flap-related complications, infectious keratitis, diffuse lamellar keratitis, or keratectasia. Two eyes in the Amaris and 4 eyes in MEL 90 group required enhancement for the progression of myopia. Conclusion. At 12 months, both Schwind Amaris 750S and MEL 90 lasers demonstrated comparable clinical outcomes for myopic LASIK in a single surgeon setting.

Sin embargo, los sistemas de amarre para embarcaciones siguen sin experimentar grandes cambios. Estos sistemas convencionales representan un gran riesgo para la integridad del personal que realiza estos procedimientos, ya que, a pesar de utilizar una técnica tradicional, la ejecución es insegura y muy prolongada, debido a las maniobras buque-muelle que se deben efectuar para una operación eficiente. Recientemente se han desarrollado sistemas de amarre automatizados para simplificar el tiempo de ejecución de este proceso. No obstante, se han encontrado limitaciones en su uso, por lo que se plantea el diseño de un equipo que no presente semejantes restricciones. El concepto presentado de sistema automatizado de ventosas para un muelle tipo marginal permitiría una mayor libertad de movimiento, mejorando así la eficacia de este procedimiento, reduciendo el tiempo de una embarcación en muelle y el riesgo de pérdida de vidas humanas

Dari kelima dimensi terdapapat dimensi kualitas pelayanan tangible dan responsiveness, masih ada beberapa hal yang harus diperbaiki terkait dengan fasilitas dan respon karyawan dalam melayani tamu. Perbaikan fasilitas parkir dan penambahan kursi dan meja serta respon karyawan yang diberikan perlu ada peningkatan agar kualitas pelayanan yang di berikan Banquet di Hotel Amaris Gorontalo menjadi lebih Baik sesuai dengan harapan tamu.

Zusammenfassung Michele Amaris „Storia dei Musulmani di Sicilia“ (11854–1872, 21933–1939) stellt seit mehreren Generationen ein zentrales Referenzwerk für die Erforschung der muslimischen Herrschaft und Präsenz im mittelalterlichen Sizilien und Unteritalien dar. In den mediävistischen Disziplinen hat eine eingehende Auseinandersetzung mit seinen zugrunde liegenden Prämissen jedoch erst in den vergangenen Jahren und mit Fokus auf Sizilien begonnen. Amaris spezifisch sizilianisches Geschichtsnarrativ wird im ersten Teil des Beitrags Ausgangspunkt für die Betrachtung des Zusammenhangs zwischen Orientalismusdiskursen und damaligen Debatten im Rahmen der italienischen Nationalstaatsbildung. Im zweiten Teil werden erstmals die besonderen Interpretationsansätze in Amaris Darstellung der Muslime und ihrer Aktivitäten auf dem italienischen Festland herausgearbeitet, um abschließend nach ihrem Fortwirken zu fragen. In dieser Kombination von Werkanalyse und forschungsgeschichtlichem Abriss kann deutlich gemacht werden, dass Amaris südlicher Orientalismus in seiner spezifisch sizilienzentrierten, patriotischen und eurozentrischen Form große Persistenz hatte und teils noch heute unhinterfragt fortgeschrieben wird.

This study functions and aims to analyze the effect of selection and placement on employee performance at Amaris Hotel Legian Bali. where the number of samples in this study were 75 respondents, namely all employees working on the research object. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire and documentation. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method. In multiple linear regression analysis obtained the following regression equation Y = 8.597 + 0.495X1 + 0.278X2. in addition to this it is also proven that the Effect of Selection on Employee Performance at Amaris Hotel Legian Bali is a positive and significant effect as evidenced by the significance value of less than 0.05 which is equal to 0,000. while the Effect of Placement on Employee Performance at Amaris Hotel Legian Bali is a positive and significant effect as evidenced by the significance value smaller than 0.05 which is equal to 0.002. for the effect of Selection and Placement on Employee Performance at Amaris Hotel Legian Bali is 33.8%

Data primer diperoleh data yang bersumber dari hasil wawancara mengenai mengenai indikator-indikator permasalahan yang sudah dirumuskan dalam penelitian ini, mengenai variabel STP (Segmentation, Targeting & Positioning), persepsi bauran pemasaran, serta pemberian bobot dan rating untuk perhitungan IFAS dan EFAS. Teknik analisis data yang dipergunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, analisis SWOT, IFAS, EFAS, kuadran dan matriks SWOT. Berdasarkan hasil dari analisis SWOT, Hasil dari analisis IFAS dan EFAS didapat titik koordinat sumbu X (internal) berada pada -0,60 dengan sumbu Y (external) -1,48 yang berada pada kuadran II (Diversifikasi), bahwa Hotel Amaris Teuku Umar menghadapi beberapa ancaman perusahaan, maupun strategi pemasaran namun Hotel Amaris Teuku Umar masih memiliki kekuatan dari segi internal. jadi Strategi yang harus diterapkan saat kondisi ini adalah dengan memanfaatkan kekuatan untuk memanfaatkan peluang jangka panjang.

In order to prevent the scum generation due to Gordona (Nocardia) amarae, experiments were made to add ozone in the aeration tank from 1990 to 1994, and scum suppression effects, sludge settleability improvement effects, etc. were reported. The studies made so far did not clarify the scum suppression mechanism of added ozone. Based on the measurements of the number of Gordona, mycolic acid, etc., an attempt was made to investigate this mechanism. By adding ozone, the number of Gordona was suppressed in general to below 1 × 105 CFU/mg-SS. In the presence of mycolic acid produced by Gordona amarae at a rate of about 178-236 μg in 1g activated sludge, no scum generation was seen. Within an experimental range of ozone added at a rate below 3 mg/l, it was considered that the scum suppression effect was due more to the decomposition of mycolic acid, which is a metabolite of Gordona amarae, than to the effect of the number of Gordona amarae being reduced by the disinfectant action of ozone.

Pretendemos voltar-nos para estudos que problematizam o modelo curricular disciplinar. E nos guiaremos pelas questões: Que propostas curriculares não disciplinares poderiam emergir no contexto de cursos de formação docente? Sobre quais bases teóricas se sustentariam? Pretendemos, a partir destes questionamentos, problematizar algumas das amarras curriculares que sustentam matrizes formativas do futuro professor.

Abstract:

Gordonia amarae, a filamentous actinomycete, commonly found in foaming activated sludge wastewater treatment plants was investigated for its biosurfactant production capability. Soluble acetate and sparingly soluble hexadecane were used as carbon sources for G. amarae growth and biosurfactant production in laboratory scale batch reactors. The lowest surface tension (critical micelle concentration, CMC) of the cell-free culture broth was 55 dynes/cm when 1,900 mg/L acetate was used as the sole carbon source. The lowest surface tension was less than 40 dynes/cm when either 1% (v/v) hexadecane or a mixture of 1% (v/v) hexadecane and 0.5% (w/v) acetate was used as the carbon source. The maximum biomass concentration (the stationary phase) was achieved after 4 days when acetate was used along with hexadecane, whereas it took about 8 days to achieve the stationary phase with hexadecane alone. The maximum biosurfactant production was 3 × CMC with hexadecane as the sole carbon source, and it was 5 × CMC with the mixture of hexadecane and acetate. Longer term growth studies (∼ 35 days of culture growth) indicated that G. amarae produces biosurfactant in order to solubilize hexadecane, and that adding acetate improves its biosurfactant production by providing readily degradable substrate for initial biomass growth. This research confirms that the foaming problems in activated sludge containing G. amarae in the activated sludge are due to the biosurfactant production by G. amarae when hydrophobic substrates such as hexadecane are present.

Nesta análise, toma-se a plataforma do YouTube, com ambiente digital de performance mediada.
