Abstract:

Abstract:
Introduction. The problem of country investment attractiveness, and approaches to its evaluation have been thoroughly debated over few last decades. Attracting of foreign direct investment (FDI) that is dedicated to creation of new jobs and added value in Ukraine, is relevant since independence declaration in 1991 and until now. It is believed, Ukrainian economy has unlimited investment potential, and reasonable high level of investment attractiveness, based on its geographical location and existing natural resources. Apparently, based on open access data, Ukraine has one of the worst in Europe FDI and GDP dynamic. Thus, the fundamental studies considering concept of “country investment potential” is highly relevant due to current macroeconomic condition in Ukraine. Within this work, authors researched recent studies of investment attractiveness evaluation around the world, and assumed their common principles. purpose of the research is to review most recent publications around the world on country investment potential evaluation topic. Results. The authors researched current relevant publications in journals which are indexed by international research databases. The analysis has shown that vast majority of current studies are connected to emerging market economies such as China and India. Among those papers, the most common approach to evaluate country’s investment attractiveness was usage of statistical methods. It allows considering a reasonably significant number of independent variables. Based on UNCTAD data [1], emerging economies show the best dynamic data related to GDP growth, and FDI inflows and outflows within last decade. According to abovementioned, the authors focused the research related to developing countries. Prospects. The Future researches could be long-term promising within the direction of country investment potential evaluation, taking into consideration socio-cultural determinants of specific countries in relevant statistical models.

Abstract:
Contemporary reflection upon the category of entertainment supersystem proposed by Marsha Kinder can be combined with the concept of transmedia storytelling (Henry Jenkins) applied in numerous academic publications in various contexts and understandings. The subject of the author’s reflection is the functioning of the BBC TV series, Doctor Who, and its media extensions. This BBC TV series is considered to be the most complex model example of transmedia storytelling. Both the classic series (1963–1989) and the 2005 Doctor Who reboot make researchers conduct a textual an-alysis which is inextricably linked to the research on television production practices. The new series of Doctor Who’s adventures can be best described by the culture of convergence and its practices. While tracing the development of the brand, its historic and contemporary contexts inscribed in British cultural studies, as well as relations of the anchor product with the categories of transmed-iality and remediation — the author concludes that nowadays studying supersystems requires the application of much more complex research tools.

Abstract:
Abstract Over the last few decades, next generation sequencing technologies, including whole genome sequencing (WGS), have been increasingly used in cancer genomics studies. However, there is no efficient way to manage, visualize and integratively analyze sample-level WGS results across different bioinformatic pipelines, particularly for non-bioinformaticians. This greatly limits the usability of WGS data for biological discovery. Following the FAIR principles (findability, accessibility, interoperability, and reusability), we developed Sherlock-Genome, a R Shiny app designed for data harmonization, visualization and integrative analyses for WGS-based cancer genomics studies. Specifically, Sherlock-Genome provides pipelines for WGS analyses coupled with detailed guidelines on data preparation. The users can download the pipelines on their local computer, run the analyses and then upload the sample-level results into the Sherlock-Genome for data harmonization and integrative analyses across different genomic features. Sherlock-Genome also implements rigorous WGS-related data QC steps based on NGSpurity, a workflow that estimates the tumor purity, ploidy and clonal architecture by integrating somatic copy number alterations (SCNA), single nucleotide variants (SNV) and cancer cell fraction. Currently, Sherlock-Genome includes a few independent modules that allow users to generate a variety of interactive data inspection and visualization images, and perform many integrative analyses also using clinical and epidemiological data. These modules include study information and sample-level data QC (study overview, manifest information, NGSpurity), summaries of major genomics alterations (mutations, SCNA, structural variants), reports of advanced genomics analyses (mutational signatures, genomic landscape, clonal evolution) and functions related to different types of integrative analyses (survival analysis, integrative analysis). In addition, all plots in the Sherlock-Genome app can be downloaded as publication-ready figures from each module. Sherlock-Genome can be deployed in both local and cloud environments, allowing users to share sample-level analytical results together with the related publications. Sherlock-Genome has the potential to be widely used in cancer genomics allowing sample-level integrative analyses across multiple WGS and additional multi-omics features. A Sherlock-Genome demo with major module functions could be presented to allow users to know about this new interactive user-friendly tool for data analysis and visualization that can greatly advance biological discoveries. Abstract:
Among the hundreds of archaeological sites in the lower reaches of the Amur basin, a special place belongs to the stones and rocks with ancient drawings. The rock art of the Lower Amur region has been studied since the sixties of the nineteenth century. Among the discoverers and researchers are the names of local historians and scientists. Systematic academic scientific research of petroglyphs monuments was carried out only 100 years later, in the sixties of the twentieth century, by Soviet archaeologists. The research source base (topography, description, tracing, scientific interpretation and publication of materials) was prepared by a team of employees of the Far Eastern Archaeological Expedition of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of the Siberian Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences under the leadership of A. P. Okladnikov. Pisanitsa on the Sukpai River in the Ussuri River basin is one of the new sites of rock art in the region, it was discovered in the 1980s by archaeologist V. I. Dyakov, an employee of the Institute of History, Archeology and Ethnography of the Peoples of the Far East of the Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The article offers the experience of studying the stylistic diversity of the Lower Amur rock art monuments, namely, the drawings of the Sukpai petroglyph, which predetermines its relevance. The novelty of the study is due to the fact that the article highlights the signs of the Sukpai artistic style, the extent of its distribution among the petroglyphs of the region and adjacent territories. To write the work, a wide range of research methods was used, including the method of analyzing scientific literature, the sources were scientific papers on the topic of the study. The result of the research: a) the distinctive features of the style of plots on the rock of the Sukpai River are highlighted; b) similar images were traced on the stones and rocks of the Sikachi-Alyan-Malyshevo site; c) substantiation of the identification of the Sukpai artistic style among the petroglyphs of the Lower Amur; d) the similarity of the drawings of the sukpai style with the plots of the shamanic thematic direction of the rock art monuments of the adjacent territories of Eastern Siberia, Yakutia, the Upper and Middle Amur Region, and Transbaikalia was traced.

Abstract:
Abstract The Metastatic Breast Cancer Project (MBCproject) is an ongoing research study that directly engages patients (pts) through social media and advocacy groups, and empowers them to share their samples, clinical information, and experiences. The goal is to create a publicly available dataset of linked genomic, clinical, and pt-reported data to enable research. In collaboration with pts, advocates, and advocacy groups, a website (MBCproject.org) was developed that allows pts with metastatic breast cancer (MBC) anywhere in the US or Canada to register. From 10/20/15-6/1/21, 6100 patients with MBC registered for the MBCproject. Registered pts are sent an online consent form that asks for permission to obtain and analyze their medical records and samples. Consented pts are sent a saliva and/or blood kit and asked to mail back a saliva sample, which is used to extract germline DNA, and/or a blood sample, which is used to extract germline DNA and cell free DNA (cfDNA). We contact participants’ medical providers to obtain medical records and a portion of their stored tumor biopsies. 3456 pts receiving care at over 1700 different institutions have consented to share medical records and tumor/saliva/blood samples and to have genomic analysis performed. Whole exome sequencing (WES) is performed on tumor DNA, germline DNA, and cfDNA; transcriptome sequencing (RNA-seq) is performed on tumor RNA. Medical records and pt-reported data are abstracted to create a detailed clinical record for each pt. Table 1 highlights clinical data collection, biospecimen acquisition, and genomic data generation to date. Examples of clinicogenomic analyses are shown in Table 2. De-identified linked genomic, clinical, and pt-reported data is shared regularly via public databases (mbcproject.org, cBioPortal, dbGaP, NCI Genomic Data Commons). To date, this data has been cited in over 40 publications. Study updates are shared with participants regularly. The MBCproject continues to enroll new patients, generate additional data, and perform integrated clinical and genomic analyses with the goal of building a dataset that is representative of patients with MBC. We have partnered with over 30 non-profit breast cancer advocacy groups. We also have several community engagement efforts underway to more directly reach patients in underrepresented communities, including partnerships with faith-based organizations and colleges/universities, as well as targeted engagement with the African American community. In addition, in partnership with Latinx patients, advocates, and researchers, a Spanish-language version of the MBCproject was launched in June 2021. Partnering directly with pts rapidly enables thousands of pts to remotely share tumors, blood, saliva, and medical records to accelerate research. The resulting publicly shared clinically annotated dataset is a resource that allows researchers to identify patients with specific phenotypes, who have often been challenging to identify with traditional approaches. Abstract:
Numerous studies in the chemistry of heterocyclic compounds today are devoted to solving environmental and economic problems (environmental pollution, irrational use of natural re-sources, etc.). This mini-review summarizes and analyzes the literature data of the last 10 years (2011-2021) on the «green» synthesis of structurally similar 2-aminopyrans (pyridine) -3-carboni-triles (polysubstituted, annelated with different types of articulation of rings, spirocyclic) contain-ing in the heteroring, substituent groups (functional analogs), identical in nature (CN, NH2) and position (at C2 -C3), are similar in production methods, formation routes. The main «green» ap-proach to the synthesis of 2-aminopyran (pyridine)-3-carbonitriles is multicomponent condensa-tion during thermal, ultrasonic, microwave activation, and electrolysis. Reagents in the synthesis of 2-aminopyran-3-carbonitriles are malononitrile, (di) carbonyl compounds (aromatic, alicyclic, aliphatic), phenols, hydroxynaphthols, in the case of 2-aminopyridine-3-carbonitriles -malonodi-nitrile, carbonyl compounds, aminating agents (ammonium acetate, aromatic and heterocyclic amines). Numerous studies devoted to the search for catalysts that can replace toxic catalysts (ali-phatic, heterocyclic amines), which are used repeatedly with the same effectiveness. Promising cat-alysts that meet these requirements have been found -nano-, nanomagnetic, organic, solid hetero-geneous catalysts (based on silicon oxide, titanium oxide, graphene). Much attention is paid to the selection of environmentally friendly solvents, available, cheap (water, ethanol), the use of ionic liquids. Electrochemical synthesis is recognized as «green» because toxic catalysts are replaced by electric current. A series of electrosynthesis reactions of annelated, spiro-fused, polyheteroatomi-cheterosystems obtained in the nanoscale range is presented. A large number of publications over the past decade have shown that the methodology of «green» chemistry provides a low-step, effi-cient, low-waste pathway for the synthesis of substituted 2-aminopyran (pyridine) -3-carbonitriles, which corresponds to the PASE (Pot-Atom-Step-Econiomic) principle. It should be noted that this path is not devoid of disadvantages, such as the use of expensive catalysts and complex hardware design. From a huge number of publications over the last decade on the synthesis of 2-aminopyran (pyridine) -3-carbonitriles, only those concerning the use of the methodology of «green» chemistry, the most significant and informative (21 publications) were selected.
