Knowing where to find inside information can mean the difference between getting a job from a suitable company or following the wrong direction and wasting precious time, happiness or health in the wrong job and job environment. This article investigates the influence of electronic online word of mouth in the form of job reviews during the process of changing jobs and finding the right job. Job review sites are becoming more and more popular in the process of job search. While the professional world has already started to acknowledge job review sites as useful tools in the process of job search, so far, the academic scene has not paid much attention to this dynamic. The intention of this article is to change this. Based on a literature review, this article shows that job review sites already play a central and valuable role in job change processes by giving inside information through employees who already have experience with employers.

Abstract:

Understanding the logic of living systems requires knowledge of the mechanisms involved at the levels at which functionality is expressed. This information resides neither in the genome, nor even in the individual proteins that genes code for. No functionality is expressed at these levels. It emerges as the result of interactions between many proteins relating to each other in multiple cascades and in interaction with the cellular environment. There is therefore no alternative to copying nature and computing these interactions to determine the logic of healthy and diseased states. The rapid growth in biological databases, models of cells, tissues and organs and the development of powerful computing hardware and algorithms have made it possible to explore functionality in a quantitative manner all the way from the level of genes to the physiological function of whole organs and regulatory systems. I use models of the heart to demonstrate that we can now go all the way from individual genetic information (on mutations, for example) to exploring the consequences at a whole-organ level.

Abstract:

This paper explores how abstract concepts of alignment, such as moving between different levels of attention, were made visible and concrete in a case study carried out in the context of nature tourism. The alignment practices were mapped from a design research project, where the aim was to construct and explore a prototype of future culture based on care and awareness-based co-creation. The paper combines literature form care ethics and ontology of becoming to support the alignment concepts form awareness-based systems change approach, Theory U. In addition, the collaborative and dialogical tradition of constructive design research is being introduced as a potential sense-making approach to explore the deeper meanings of experiences and events in the development process together with local stakeholders. Later, the research findings are discussed in the light of the individual and collective capacity building needs, which aim to change our inner mindset and posture of being and becoming with the world. Finally, the paper argues that the potential for change and the choice to bring about that change can be found within us as a willingness and readiness to re-invent ourselves in every moment, every encounter, and interaction.

Abstract:

The study investigates the relationship between array priming and the self-generated conceptualization of arrays in spatial memory. Nursery and primary school age children and adults (N = 70) were tested with an object and place memory reaction-time/accuracy task, once first using a frame (containment and figurative thought) and (in another session) using a grid (explicit boundaries around places). They were also given the Common Region Test (CRT) with which drawing of object-place vs. object-region binding was tested. Object memory was better than place memory in 5-year-olds, but place memory had caught up in older children. Ten-year-olds showed already an accuracy comparable to young adults, and they also remembered places somewhat better and faster than object shapes. Experiencing the explicitly denoted places in the grid in the first session improved place memory in the second session with the frame, but not vice versa. Object-place binding in the CRT predicted better object than place memory, while object-region binding predicted place memory equal to or better than object memory. These binding strategies statistically eliminated the array priming effects of the grid, showing a trade-off between “self-made” spatial encoding strategy and priming with a “ready-made” spatial array structure.

AbstractTo what extent is EU company law harmonized? This article first makes the point that little progress has been made in the direction of company law uniformity within the EU. It then argues that, even leaving aside the question of whether it would be desirable to have a uniform EU company law, that outcome is simply impossible to achieve, due to interest group resistance and the variety in national meta-rules. Yet it concludes that, in a narrow meaning, European company laws have indeed been harmonized: European Member States company laws fit together, which may well be what harmonization, not only etymologically, is all about.

Wikipedia emphasizes the objectivity of content. Yet, Wikipedia articles also deal with negative events that potentially elicit intense emotions. Undesirable outcomes (e.g., earthquakes) are known to elicit sadness, while undesirable outcomes caused by others’ actions (e.g., terrorist attacks) are known to elicit anger. Internet users’ emotional responses are likely to end up in Wikipedia articles on those events as characteristics of Internet users spill over to Wikipedia articles. Therefore, we expected that Wikipedia articles on terrorist attacks contain more anger-related and less sadness-related content than articles on earthquakes. We analyzed newly created Wikipedia articles about the two events (Study 1) as well as more current versions of those Wikipedia articles after the events had already happened (Study 2). The results supported our expectations. Surprisingly, Wikipedia articles on those two events contained more emotional content than related Wikipedia talk pages (Study 3). We discuss the implications for Wikipedia and future research.

Recently, He et al. derived several remarkable properties of the so-called typical Bézier curves, a subset of constrained Bézier curves introduced by Mineur et al. In particular, He et al. proved that such curves display at most one curvature extremum, give an explicit formula of the parameter at the extremum, and show that subdividing a curve at this point furnishes two new typical curves. We recall that typical curves amount to segments of a special family of sinusoidal spirals, curves already studied by Maclaurin in the early 18th century and whose properties are well-known. These sinusoidal spirals display only one curvature extremum (i.e., vertex), whose parameter is simply that corresponding to the axis of symmetry. Subdividing a segment at an arbitrary point, not necessarily the vertex, always yields two segments of the same spiral, hence two typical curves.

Ceramic fibers are just as glass and basalt member of the group of inorganic fibers. Like most types of inorganic fibers ceramic fibers have a high tear resistance but a limited flexibility. [1] Ceramic fibers are characterized by their extraordinary high temperature and chemical resistance. These properties make them interesting for different high technical applications, as they occur in aerospace, chemical-and energy technology. In this field, they are applied especially as a reinforcement component in composite materials. Not only the partially high material price, but although the typical brittleness of ceramic fibers bring huge problems during the textile production chain, which limits the availability of complex textile preforms in the market. Often, a radical revision of the machine and processing concept is necessary to enable an economical production process. The Application Center for Textile Fiber Ceramics TFK at Fraunhofer-Center for High Temperature Materials and Design HTL develops and modifies textile production processes to make them suitable for the special requirements of ceramic fibers. One and multilayer woven fabrics, braids and tape structures for the winding process have already been successfully implemented. A further development complex is the intensive investigation of three-dimensional textile reinforcement structures. Regarding the high material costs, these research activities are very important. If the textile reinforcement is placed only where needed, the amount of used fiber material can be reduced significantly.

Porous carbon monoliths can be used as key components in a variety of applications, such as energy storage, adsorption and catalysis. The preparation of porous carbon monoliths suffers from several limitations, e.g., time-consuming synthesis steps, the use of hazardous chemicals, limited porosity or mechanical stability. This paper describes the investigation of a simple synthesis route to produce porous carbon monoliths from sustainable carbon precursors. Mixtures from different kinds of cellulose and starch, respectively, have been used as the carbon precursor. Fundamental features of porous monoliths, i.e., the porosity and the mechanic stability, respectively, have been investigated in dependence on the composition of the precursor mixtures. First attempts to explain the observed behavior have already been made.

Abstract The characteristic feature of the approach to the analysis of the airfield pavement deterioration degree as outlined in this paper is the fact that not only existing deteriorations are taken into account of but also already completed historical repairs. This approach enables determination of resources needed to conduct repairs and setting up reasonable schedules of future overhauls. The proposed index of the pavement deterioration degree, calculated on the basis of measured deficiencies and past repairs, makes it possible to assess the technical condition of the airfield pavement in a comprehensive manner. The key information indispensable to evaluate the degree of deterioration of the airfield pavement surface includes data which can be acquired from already completed stocktaking inventories. The stocktaking process is based on the catalogue of deficiencies typical for airfield pavements and the rules for stocktaking measurements.

The Government intends to replace the Mental Health Act 1983, and the most recent of its proposals were contained in the Draft Mental Health Bill published in June 2004.The 1983 Act is now very different to the statute introduced at the end of 1982. Parliament and the courts have made a number of significant changes over the last 20-odd years, and they have brought us a lot closer to the next Mental Health Act than many people – and possibly even the Government – suppose. In fact, those changes may have brought us rather close to the Draft Mental Health Bill. That will be an uncomfortable thought for many people.This paper will consider five key aspects of the Draft Mental Health Bill:• the provisions dealing with risk and treatability;• the notion of compulsion in the community;• the status of the Code of Practice; and• the abolition of the Approved Social Worker.The paper will ask whether, because of the changes of the last two decades, the current Mental Health Act has already arrived at much the same point. In addition, the paper will consider the position of incapable patients. Although the Draft Bill contains precious few proposals about them, the paper will ask whether recent developments have made a broad definition of mental disorder all but essential.

Abstract:

This report highlights a diagnostically challenging case of diffuse deciduoid mesothelioma occurring in the peritoneum of a 25-year-old woman, 8 months postpartum. Optimally debulked tumor consisted of sheets of polygonal cells arranged in solid, trabecular, and pseudopapillary configurations, with vesicular, occasionally grooved nuclei and small nucleoli. A barrage of immunohistochemical stains revealed an unusual staining pattern characterized by diffusely positive keratin, WT-1, and mesothelin staining, but lack of calretinin positivity. Electron microscopy demonstrated only rare thin, long, branching cellular projections. Cytogenetics revealed balanced translocations of 12p and 1q and 16p. Based on compiled ancillary studies, a diagnosis of deciduoid mesolthelioma was made and supported by consultations from experts at 3 outside facilities. Twenty-seven months after diagnosis, the patient is alive and undergoing treatment with progression of disease. This case is presented in detail, and a discussion of the diagnostic criteria and current application of those criteria is provided.

AbstractCOVID-19 struck a world already suffering under a scourge – a rash of right-wing populist, exclusionary nationalisms. Whether it is Donald Trump in the USA, Vladimir Putin in Russia, Bolsonaro in Brazil, Orbán in Hungary, Modi in India, the past decade the world has witnessed the rise of leaders claiming the nation for dominant ethnic groups, excluding and targeting ethnic minorities and immigrants. In this article I argue that this preexisting plague of exclusionary nationalism has made the COVID-19 pandemic more dangerous for our body politics than it might otherwise have been. Following from our evolutionary tendency to associate foreigners with disease, all epidemics hold the potential to raise boundaries between ingroups and outgroups and scapegoat the latter. Yet this noxious seed of division latent in all contagions has flourished in the case of COVID-19, as it was planted in the fertile soil of exclusionary nationalism where boundaries between countries, and majority and minority-group boundaries within countries, were already furrowed deep. I delineate how through the pandemic, right-wing, populist, exclusionary nationalist governments have further exacerbated both these types of us-them divides. In concluding, however, I point out how in line with its well-known Janus nature, nationalism has also played a more constructive role during the pandemic.

Abstract:

Nowadays a possible strategy in food preservation consists of the use of active and functional packaging to improve safety and ensure a longer shelf life of food products. Many studies refer to chitosan-based films because of the already-known chitosan (CH) antibacterial and antifungal activity. In this work, we developed CH-based films containing Dried Olive Leaf Extract (DOLE) obtained by Naviglio extractor, with the aim to investigate the polyphenols yield and the antioxidant activity of this extract entrapped in CH-based-edible films. Olive tree cultivation produces a huge amount of byproducts that are usually simply burned. Phenolic compounds are already studied for their beneficial effects on human health. Some studies reported that phenols isolated from olive leaves have been shown to inhibit the growth of different strains of microorganisms. Thus, the antimicrobial effect of DOLE-containing films against bacterial strains (Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Typhimurium ATCC® 14028, Salmonella enteritidis RIVM 706, and Enterococcus faecalis ATCC® 29212) was tested in vitro. The DOLE component of the films is effective in inhibiting all the bacteria tested in a dose-dependent manner. Thus, it was demonstrated that these edible films can act as active bioplastics when used to wrap hamburgers in substitution for baking paper, which is normally used.

Summary In its final report on aggression and the use of force, the International Law Association opined that the only way in which unilateral humanitarian intervention could possibly be seen as a legal exception to the prohibition of the use of force is if State practice and opinio juris were to be found establishing its status as an additional exception in customary international law. After the airstrikes conducted by the US, the UK, and France against Syria in April 2018, which took place in reaction to unprecedented usage of chemical weapons against civilian population by regime of Bashar Asad, some States and part of scholars argued that this permissive rule (exception) has already crystalized and humanitarian intervention became part of international law. The aim of this article is to assess whether these opinions are relevant or whether they are simply premature. The text is divided into three parts. Firstly, legality of humanitarian intervention is considered in the framework of the UN Charter and customary international law on the use of force based on evaluation of scholarly debates and the most prominent examples of State practice before 2018. Then, the article describes methodology that is employed in relation to the creation (modification) of customary international law in general and peremptory norm concerning the prohibition on the use of force in particular. This part analyzes how possible normative changes of jus ad bellum should be assessed. The third part evaluates justifications and reactions of States with respect to the use of force against Syria in April 2018 that were presented by the international community of States. The article concludes that the concept of humanitarian intervention remains still illegal even after the airstrikes against Syria from 2018, what conforms to the prevailing opinion presented in contemporary scholarly literature. Even though the positive echoes identified in State practice (and doctrine) are yet premature, they indicate that process of gradual normative change has already been triggered. At the same time, the expectations concerning crystallization of a new possible exception to the general prohibition on the use of force should not be too exaggerated.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to enhance security control in sustaining the gains made in addressing KCPE and KCSE examination irregularities in KenyaMethodology: To address the problem of examination irregularities, a situational analysis was conducted so as to identify the possible causes of the problem and measures to take in order to mitigate the challenge of cheating. Results: Positive changes have been observed in the education sector in Kenya since the new cabinet secretary instituted measures to curb cheating in national examination and synergy has been felt within the state. The Ministry of Education, ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government and the Ministry of Information, Communications and Technology should continue collaborating to ensure that the gains already made are improved and sustained.Unique contribution to theory, practice and policy: Examination is both security and also a reputation concern of any nation. School and national examination should always be credible. Gains already made must be safeguarded. To this end every stakeholder has a role to play. Security control system should be continuity monitored and improved.

Abstract:

There is a great demand for non-destructive testing methods for quality assurance and to assess the safety and durability of wooden structures. Ultrasonic echo technique with shear waves in the frequency range of 50 kHz is one of those promising methods and is already frequently applied for usual and glued laminated timber. The article describes the development and first results for an imaging method for this purpose. The highly anisotropic properties of the ultrasonic velocity have to be considered. A 3D-SAFT (Synthetic Aperture Focusing Technique) imaging scheme is developed initially for synthetic data resulting from modelling the elastic wave propagation. The main part of the paper describes the experimental validation of this evaluation technique by experimental studies applying automated ultrasonic scanning techniques. 3D ultrasonic imaging results are described for test specimens made from pine and spruce wood. Another object of investigation was a pedestrian bridge made from siberian larch.

Reacting to the symbolic features and historical artefacts that invite institutional self-reflection at the Royal Military College (RMC), I created a performance project leading to two storytelling events. Everyday campus life at RMC already offers opportunities for cultivating a meta-perspective—a higher-order awareness—of the institution, and the storytelling events called attention to such opportunities. I argue that, likewise, art-based projects in the humanities call attention to the creativity—the making—involved in the humanities more broadly. The first storytelling event, Tailor Made (2017), comprised stories focused on the uniform as a model and the body wearing it as an actual bearing out that model. Social and cultural life is made of the difference between models and actuals, and each story engaged the ways that rules, systems, and practices meet with individuals in hurtful, inconvenient, funny or messy ways. The second event, Skylarking (2018), included stories of the institutionally condoned pranks called “skylarks” and coincidentally occurred against the backdrop of a campus-wide punishment that elicited a skylark response. This event and its context showed that marking disruption with more disruption (marking failure with punishment and marking punishment with prank) is a recursion that invites higher-order thinking about existing orders.

Abstract:

The need to search for alternative suitable materials for concrete in view of the rising cost of some of the conventional materials and the environmental impact of their continuous exploitation necessitated this research. Some of the sand deposited along our drainage paths, gutter, roadside and riverbanks could be gainfully used for concreting if sufficient data on their properties are available. They are relatively cheap and locally available. It is observed that within our local environment most people have already taken advantage of these materials for building construction. Investigation into the use of gutter sand as fine aggregate in concrete compared to river sand is presented in this study. Three different prescribed mix proportions of 1:1½:3, 1:2:4 and 1:3:6 concrete were prepared using river sand and gutter sand respectively at a water-cement ratio of 0.5. Cube crushing strengths were determined at 7, 14, and 28 days. Tests were also carried out on the aggregates to determine their particle size distribution and other properties while slump test was carried out on the fresh concretes to determine their workability. Results obtained indicated that the compressive strength of gutter sand concrete with the same cement content showed about 6% decrease when compared to the conventional river sand concrete. A cost analysis indicated that gutter sand concrete was 10% cheaper than river sand concrete of similar mix proportioning.

Abstract:

This paper discusses the sensory analysis of food enriched with selected edible insect species which are labelled as a novel food – house cricket (Acheta domesticus) and mealworm (Tenebrio molitor). Energy bars of two different compositions with the addition of cricket flour and puff pastry bars sprinkled with the whole roasted mealworm larvae were evaluated by consumer tests performed via a questionnaire survey. Respondents represented both men and women in equal numbers and included consumers with the experience of the sensory analysis and edible insects to ensure accurate results. Sensory analyses revealed that respondents associated their tastes with already known flavors (salty, sweet, bitter, fish, French fries, chicken, and mushrooms). The most common answer from respondents was a salty taste, followed by a sweet taste. There were also unusual comparisons such as pine seeds. Consumers’ positive attitude to these energy bars has been registered which shows that the Czech consumer accepts edible insects in a suitable form as a novel food and possible part of the food basket.

Abstract:

Abstract The paper presents the construction and first tests of a new sensor stack for a Tian-Calvet Calorimeter made in LTCC Technology. In contrast to typical construction where wired thermocouples are directly connected, the here-presented solution replaces wired thermocouples by screen-printed thick-film thermocouples placed on a structured disc made of Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramics (LTCC). The advantage of screen-printed thermocouples is the ease of integration of them into thick-film hybrid structures, and to simplify the device setup. Moreover, using thermocouples integrated into a ceramic disc can increase the sensitivity of the system and simultaneously reduce the production costs. The paper shows the design and fabrication of the sensor stacks. It consists of several LTCC discs and ceramic spacers. On each LTCC disc, 34 Au/Pt thermocouples were deposited. The design of the disc was supported by FEM-modelling under consideration of device specific requirements. The very initial measurements, which we conducted using two sensor stacks already exhibited a sensitivity of 8 μV/mW, which is more than satisfactory in this stage of development.

Teacher made test becomes popular in most rural nor urban school, since multiple learning develop simultaneously during an educational experience. However, teacher often reuse tests without analysing or revising them and seldom use statistical procedures to see how a test or a test item is actually performing. Assesing students often means reaching for a test or quiz that is already prepared, whether it be a test included a textbook or something another teacher prepared. These are not neccessarily bad choices, but to make sure they are good choices, the knowledgeable about the blueprint in making a teacher made test should be known. This paper presents seven cornerstones of assessment, how to plan and how to make a teacher made test blueprint. Knowing more about those issue will not only help the teacher to assess the students more effectively, but it will also provide the teacher with a means of evaluating the teaching learning process and help the teacher to produce test that will actually motivate the students to learn.

In the transportation sector, the search for cost reduction has led to the introduction of composite materials. This paper focuses on filament wound containers made of natural fibres and rubber. These containers show great potential for application in developing countries, where usage of locally grown materials is often justified considering the high prices and mediocre quality of the locally available synthetic fibres, if already available. Where containers reinforced with synthetic fibres will not be able to compete with existing steel containers, which are often imported, the ones made of sustainable natural fibres show great potential. The cost reduction is primarily based on the philosophy of making use of the local situation: local manufacturing of locally designed products with locally grown materials for transportation of local consumables for the local market. In this article, the integrated design procedure of a natural fibre wound container taking these local aspects into account is discussed. A feasibility study on such a container for the Vietnamese market is described, showing significant improvements in economy and sustainability.

Penulis menjelaskan bahwa penderitaan merupakan panggilan orang percaya karena berada di masa the already and the not yet, yaitu masa di mana Yesus Kristus telah menang atas kuasa dosa, kutuk alam semesta dan pemerintahan Iblis serta merupakan masa hadirnya pemerintahan Allah di dunia, meski semua ini belum mencapai kepenuhannya. This article will address these questions through the framework of the already and the not yet schema developed by the apostle Paul. The author explains that suffering is a part of the call of believers because it is experienced between the time of the already and the not yet. A period when Jesus Christ has won over the power of sin, the curse of the universe and the government of Satan and is the time of God’s government in the world, even though all this has not yet reached fullness. Therefore, believers need not fear suffering nor leave the Christian faith because of it. Electrically conductive materials that are fabricated based on natural polymers have seen significant interest in numerous applications, especially when advanced properties such as self-healing are introduced. In this article review, the hydrogels that are based on natural polymers containing electrically conductive medium were covered, while both irreversible and reversible cross-links are presented. Among the conductive media, a special focus was put on conductive polymers, such as polyaniline, polypyrrole, polyacetylene, and polythiophenes, which can be potentially synthesized from renewable resources. Preparation methods of the conductive irreversible hydrogels that are based on these conductive polymers were reported observing their electrical conductivity values by Siemens per centimeter (S/cm). Additionally, the self-healing systems that were already applied or applicable in electrically conductive hydrogels that are based on natural polymers were presented and classified based on non-covalent or covalent cross-links. The real-time healing, mechanical stability, and electrically conductive values were highlighted.

Abstract:

The article is devoted to neologisms that appeared in the Udmurt language thanks to the translation of the Bible made by M.G. Atamanov. The authors wonder which of these neologisms are able to go beyond the biblical texts and gain a foothold in the active vocabulary of the language. The study is based on the analysis of udmurt-language media, as well as a questionnaire of native speakers. The survey made it possible to understand whether native speakers are familiar with any of the studied neologisms, and the analysis of the media made it possible to find out whether these words are used outside the Bible and liturgical books, that is, in texts not directly related to religion. The authors conclude that a small part of these new words are already used in the media and are well known to native speakers, which means they have already been included in the active vocabulary.

Abstract Introduction Bacterial nanocellulose (BNC) is a novel wound dressing that consists of nearly 95% water. This hydrophilicity allows this matrix to absorb and release aqueous substances. We investigated how well BNC can absorb antiseptic substances in order to create on demand antimicrobial wound dressings. Methods Sheets of BNC-based wound dressings were placed in four different antiseptic substances. Punch biopsies were taken at different time points and the concentrations of the antiseptic agent was measured. Two PHMB-containing solutions, one octenidine-containing and one povidone-iodine-containing solution were tested. In addition, the release of the substances from the punch biopsies was examined. To test the efficacy of these novel wound dressing, the antimicrobial activity of the BNC sheets loaded with the antiseptic solutions were tested against Staphylococcus aureus. Results All antiseptic solutions showed excellent uptake into the BNC as well as release. Especially the PHMB- and octenidine-containing solutions already showed high values after only 30 minutes. The overall achieved concentrations were all highly effective against Staphylococcus aureus and were all higher than the minimal bactericidal concentration against MRSA. Conclusions Antiseptic, water-based solutions are excellently absorbed in a very short time and are released steadily over a period of time dependant on the size of the molecules. All tested antiseptic solutions reached effective antibacterial concentrations making them all suitable for the making of antiseptic BNC-based wound dressings. However, when using a commercially available solution and not a solution containing only the active ingredient, it must be taken into consideration that all ingredients have an effect on the uptake of the active substance and thus influence the maximum uptake and release concentration. Applicability of Research to Practice The findings of this experiment are ready to be used in practice.

The research showed focus on the performance comparison between two equivalent frame structure. i.e. the first one made by steel and the second one by all frp (fibre reinforced polymer ) pultruded material. The structure adopted for the analysis is a traditional two floors frame made by connections between columns and beams. The connection has been assumed rigid to simplify the comparison, already very hard and to point out on the overall structural answer of the two different cases. The reason why of the investigation is related to teh need to deep detail the eventually structural benefits in presence of FRP material. However the success is related to a very reduced weight of FRP material (with weight equal to 1600-1800 kg/m3) linked to a not negligible performance in term of strength and durability, even if also the easy employment play a very important rule. Abstract:

— In this paper, we focused on making a study of the valuation of multimode optical fiber which is used a lot in local networks and yet that we talk less in this last decade which knows an increase of new technologies using an enormous speed. To do so, we made a translation between radio frequency MIMO and optical MIMO; a study which has already been carried out in a framework of comparison of two technologies and in the literature, this convergence is already possible. Note that this is done in terms of transfer functions and of which we have made a very explicit analytical study compared to other studies already carried out in the literature for an educational and didactic objective for future studies in this context. Then we focused on doing our valuation study of multimode optical fiber, through optical MIMO technology, and our thinking was based on the quality of the signal at reception, for this, a study of modulation formats was made, because with the rise of technologies, this of course leads to an increase in speeds, so that certain formats tend to almost total disappearance. During this study, the RZ (Return to zero) format is much better in a larger local network, in terms of its Q factor and NRZ (None Return to Zero), for a smaller network, depending on its bit error rate (BER) and their eye diagrams which have a very large aperture and this is extended for the RZ format.
