Abstract:

Untuk betul-betul menjadi terang, kekristenan perlu menggumulkan sumbangsihnya bagi moralitas bangsa. Menggunakan ide tradisi Alasdair MacIntyre dan teologi natural Alister McGrath, penulis menawarkan sebuah konstruksi teologi yang membuka kemungkinan ide moralitas Kristen diperhitungkan dalam pembicaraan moralitas bangsa. Penulis kemudian menawarkan konsep persahabatan dalam kekristenan sebagai contoh nyata sumbangsih kekristenan bagi moralitas bangsa. Kata-kata Kunci: Alasdair MacIntyre, Alister McGrath, Aristoteles, Etika, Persahabatan, Teologi Publik, Thomas Aquinas English: Christians in Indonesia are often depicted as free riders who don’t contribute much to Indonesian’s independence and life as nation. This is a false claim. However, Christianity does need to offer a greater contribution, especially in the area of moral thought of Indonesia which is dominated by Islamic theology and secular ideas. Using the framework of Alasdair MacIntyre and Alister McGrath, this article constructs a theological and philosophical basis for Christianity’s contribution for the nation’s morality discussions. In the later part of this article, a Christian conception of friendship will be offered as an example of a Christian contribution. Abstract:

Abstract Since 1995, the Laboratory for Accelerator Studies and Development at CEA Saclay specializes in producing ECR intense Light Ion Sources, for high intensity proton or deuteron. The initial source SILHI (Source d’Ions Légers Haute Intensité) designed for IPHI accelerator in 1995 was the root of sources provided to laboratories worldwide, such as IFMIF, FAIR or SPIRAL2. In parallel, the Ion Source team started a new R&D program on high intensity ECR compact ion sources with the ALISES source family (Advanced Light Ion Source Extraction System). The years spent testing and improving ALISES v1&2 led us to design a new source, named ALISES v3. The development of this source gathers the advantages of each improvement tested on ALISES v1&2, to achieve an even smaller and pragmatic configuration. The manufacturing of ALISES v3 took place during the improvement of the BETSI test bench in 2018, from 50 kV to 100 kV. The goal of this source is to obtain the same characteristics as the original SILHI, with fewer parts and easier maintenance. This article describes the evolution of ALISES v3 and the beam characteristics at every stage. BETSI test bench is equipped with an Allison Scanner and a Faraday cup to analyse the emittance and the beam current.

Abstract:

Hormonal dynamics after Plasmodiophora brassicae infection were compared in two Brassica napus cultivars—more resistant SY Alister and more sensitive Hornet, in order to elucidate responses associated with efficient defense. Both cultivars responded to infection by the early transient elevation of active cytokinins (predominantly cis-zeatin) and auxin indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) in leaves and roots, which was longer in Hornet. Moderate IAA levels in Hornet roots coincided with a high expression of biosynthetic gene nitrilase NIT1 (contrary to TAA1, YUC8, YUC9). Alister had a higher basal level of salicylic acid (SA), and it stimulated its production (via the expression of isochorismate synthase (ICS1)) in roots earlier than Hornet. Gall formation stimulated cytokinin, auxin, and SA levels—with a maximum 22 days after inoculation (dai). SA marker gene PR1 expression was the most profound at the time point where gall formation began, in leaves, roots, and especially in galls. Jasmonic acid (JA) was higher in Hornet than in Alister during the whole experiment. To investigate SA and JA function, SA was applied before infection, and twice (before infection and 15 dai), and JA at 15 dai. Double SA application diminished gall formation in Alister, and JA promoted gall formation in both cultivars. Activation of SA/JA pathways reflects the main differences in clubroot resistance.

Abstract:

In this study, the geotechnical characterization of alisol soils of Eastern Province in Chief-Mutenguleni area was investigated. The Zambian agricultural soil classification was used as the foundation to investigate the behaviour of active clay minerals for alisols soils from the study area. The X-XRD Rietveld analysis depicted the presences of vermiculite, montmorillonite and Ferrum related minerals which are typical of alisols soils. The grain size analysis, Atterberg limits, Califonia bearing ratio (CBR), direct shear test, undrained unconsolidated triaxial test, and consolidation Oedometer were carried out. The CBR test also showed potential swelling and shrinkage behaviour of the investigated alisols soils. Based on the Casagrande plasticity chart the alisol soils from Chief Mutenguleni in Eastern province can be classified as soil with low and high plasticity based on the soil horizon or presence of termite mould in the study area.

Abstract: Financial discourse is applicable to many aspects of lived experience, as Geoffrey chaucer demonstrates in his ventriloquizing of a female cloth merchant, the Wife of Bath. As chaucer's Alisoun boldly states in her Prologue ( c . 1437), 'wynne whoso may, for al is for to selle'. For Alisoun, and by implication for chaucer's contemporary society, the knowledge that everything and everyone has a value to be exploited, is key. commercial discourse is central to Alisoun's portrayal in her Prologue and to the exchange of knowledge and marriage in her Tale . Business practice and phrasing are crucial to Alisoun's understanding of life and unite her roles as a medieval woman: spiritual, marital, sexual, and economic. By examining Margery Kempe's Boke (1436–38) and a range of the fifteenth-century Paston women's papers alongside The Wife of Bath's Prologue , this essay demonstrates that this was not just the case for chaucer's fictional Alisoun, but for a variety of women from the medieval English mercantile élite themselves.

Kasvin kromosomistoon siirtyvä DNA sulautuu osaksi kasvin perimää ja alistuu sen molekyylisäätelylle. Tähän luonnon molekyylien vuorovaikutukseen perustuvalla LUMO-jalostuksella onpotentiaalia mullistaa kasvintuotanto ja edistää sen sopeuttamista muuttuviin ympäristöolosuhteisiin. Esimerkkejä modernista kasvinjalostuksesta ovat olleet kasveihin siirretyt yksittäisiä proteiineja tuottavat geenit, jotka antavat kasveille tietyn uuden ominaisuuden. Uusia geenitekniikoita kehitetään jatkuvastiruokkimaan EUn tietoyhteiskunnan strategioita ja sitä kautta taloudellista kehitysta.

Abstract:

Agroforestry is a new practice of sustainable soil use in the mountainous Sierra Sur de Oaxaca area of Mexico. Coffee is also a common cash crop grown in the region. The objective of this study was to investigate the pedodiversity in the area. Soil development is very complex, and is influenced by slope parameters and parent materials. Several soil groups are found in the area investigated: Alisols, Umbrisols, and Cambisols. Morphology, chemical properties, and mineralogical composition of the clay fraction of these soils were studied. The soils vary in the extent of weathering, morphology, and chemical properties, which are important to farming in the area. Most of the soils have heterogeneous parent material. The distribution of major soil types of the area is related to mass movement along the slopes, both past and present. The studied soils represent a chronosequence from unleached and unweathered Cambisols to Alisols, characterized by strong clay illuviation and dominance of kaolinite and gibbsite in clay fraction. A mosaic of landslides and gullies of various ages, formed by catastrophic events such as earthquakes and hurricanes, form the pedodiversity of the area studied. Abstract:

Celem badań było porównanie plonowania trzech odmian rzepaku ozimego (‘SY Alister F1’, ‘Mentor F1’, ‘Mendelson F1’) wysianych w różnej gęstości (40 i 60 nasion ∙ m–2). Ścisłe doświadczenie polowe zlokalizowano na polu Podkarpackiego Ośrodka Doradztwa Rolniczego w Boguchwale. Zwiększenie ilości wysiewu z 40 do 60 nasion · m–2 skutkowało wzrostem obsady roślin na jednostce powierzchni, ale spadkiem liczby łuszczyn na roślinie, liczby nasion w łuszczynie i MTN. Czynniki doświadczenia nie wpływały istotnie na średni plon nasion i wydajność tłuszczu z hektara. Rośliny odmiany ‘Mentor F1’ odznaczyły się dobrą zimotrwałością, ale zawiązały najmniej łuszczyn. Odmiana ‘SY Alister F1’ miała lepsze wschody niż odmiana ‘Mentor F1’ oraz większą zawartość tłuszczu surowego w nasionach w porównaniu z odmianą ‘Mendelson F1’.

Abstract:

Spiders of the family Hahniidae from the rainforest area of Xishuangbanna are examined. Totally 7 species, including 5 new species are reported: Alistra annulata sp. nov. (male), A. hippocampa sp. nov. (male, female), Hahnia saccata sp. nov. (male, female), H. submaginii sp. nov. (male, female) and H. senaria sp. nov. (male, female). Two known species, Hahnia flagellifera Zhu, Chen & Sha, 1989 (male, female) and H. himalayaensis Hu & Zhang, 1990 (male, female) are firstly recorded from Yunnan Province and redescribed here. The genus Alistra is firstly recorded from China. Morphological descriptions, illustrations and photos of all species are given. All specimens are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing (IZCAS).

Investigaciones sobre la dinámica de la atmosfera y el océano en la Cuenca de Colombia en el mar Caribe llevadas a cabo de 1992 a 1999 con medidas in situ y sensores remotos mostraron la existencia de una celda atmosférica del tipo Walker, compuesta por los vientos Alisios que vienen del Este, convergencia (ascenso) sobre la masa continental de Centroamérica, vientos del oeste al nivel de 200 mb y divergencia (descenso) en el centro del mar Caribe. Los vientos Alisios toman la forma de un viento de chorro de nivel superficial en el centro del Caribe que produce corrientes de Ekman en el Caribe suroccidental de hasta 1Sv cuya dirección superficial es hacia la Cuenca Caimán.

Abstract:

Tomographic Synthetic Aperture Radar (TomoSAR) building object height inversion is a sparse reconstruction problem that utilizes the data obtained from several spacecraft passes to invert the scatterer position in the height direction. In practical applications, the number of passes is often small, and the observation data are also small due to the objective conditions, so this study focuses on the inversion under the restricted observation data conditions. The Analytic Learned Iterative Shrinkage Thresholding Algorithm (ALISTA) is a kind of deep unfolding network algorithm, which is a combination of the Iterative Shrinkage Thresholding Algorithm (ISTA) and deep learning technology, and it has the advantages of both. The ALISTA is one of the representative algorithms for TomoSAR building object height inversion. However, the structure of the ALISTA algorithm is simple, which has neither the excellent connection structure of a deep learning network nor the acceleration format combined with the ISTA algorithm. Therefore, this study proposes two directions of improvement for the ALISTA algorithm: firstly, an improvement in the inter-layer connection of the network by introducing a connection similar to residual networks obtains the Extragradient Analytic Learned Iterative Shrinkage Thresholding Algorithm (EALISTA) and further proves that the EALISTA achieves linear convergence; secondly, there is an improvement in the iterative format of the intra-layer iteration of the network by introducing the Nesterov momentum acceleration, which obtains the Fast Analytic Learned Iterative Shrinkage Thresholding Algorithm (FALISTA). We first performed inversion experiments on simulated data, which verified the effectiveness of the two proposed algorithms. Then, we conducted TomoSAR building object height inversion experiments on limited measured data and used the deviation metric P to measure the robustness of the algorithms to invert under restricted observation data. The results show that both proposed algorithms have better robustness, which verifies the superior performance of the two algorithms. In addition, we further analyze how to choose the most suitable algorithms for inversion in engineering practice applications based on the results of the experiments on measured data.

Abstract:

Green objects of personal adornment were quite common among Neolithic and Copper Age groups in Western Europe, and variscite was one of the minerals that was most often used for such a purpose. This article presents the results of a series of archaeological campaigns designed to study the mines of Aliste and the ornament production loci of Quiruelas de Vidriales (both in the province of Zamora, Spain). We discovered that initially, during the fourth millennium cal BC, variscite from Aliste was seldom used and the ornaments’ production was dispersed, but that there was a significant shift during the third millennium cal BC: ornament production intensified and became concentrated in the production sites of Quiruelas. We relate this transformation to the socioeconomic processes that developed in the Iberian Peninsula and the growth of supra-regional socio-technical artefact exchange networks.

Abstract:

Abstract A laboratory experiment was completed to determine the effect of the herbicides Alister Grande 190 OD, Fuego 500 SC and Lumax 537.5 SE on counts of actinomycetes as well as the activity of enzymes and their resistance to herbicides. Sandy loam was mixed with appropriate doses of the herbicides, such as: 0 - the control, 1 - technological dose and doses 20-, 40-, 80- and 160-fold higher than recommended. On day 20, 40, 80 and 160, counts of actinomycetes and activity of urease, acid phosphatase and alkaline phosphatase were determined. For 160 days, soil was incubated at 25°C and its moisture content was maintained on a constant level equal 50% of water capillary capacity. On days 20 and 80 of the experiment, the ecophysiological (EP) and colony development (CD) indices were computed. Additionally, the resistance (RS) of enzymes to the herbicides was assessed on day 20 and their resilience index (RL) was determined on day 160. It has been found out that soil contamination with herbicides contributed to elevated counts of actinomycetes. The highest number of these microorganisms was observed in soil with Lumax 537.5 SE, and the lowest one appeared in soil with Alister Grande 190 OD. The CD for actinomycetes was the highest in treatments with Fuego 500 SC and the highest EP was determined in soil with Alister Grande 190 OD. Application of the herbicides in doses from 20- to 160-fold higher than recommended by the manufacturer significantly increased the activity of acid and alkaline phosphatases. With respect to the activity of urease, the herbicides produced variable effects. The strongest inhibitory effect on the activity of urease was produced by Fuego 500 SC, which reduced the activity of this enzyme by 13.39% when added to soil in a dose exceeding by 160-fold the recommended rate. The RS of the enzymes to the herbicides ranged from 0.461 to 0.955. Urease was the most tolerant to soil contamination with the herbicides.

Abstract:

The Sierra de Aconquija is a recently uplifted mountain chain in NW Argentina. The NE side of the sierra is drained by the Muñoz and Los Alisos rivers – whose base level is the Las Carreras Depression that is located to the SW of the Tafí valley. Two of the major headwaters of the Muñoz River suffered during its Holocene development from piracy by the Los Alisos River. These piracies had important consequences on the size of both basins and the functioning of their alluvial fans. The main causes of the captures were changes in river dynamics during Lateglacial and Holocene glacial events. Neotectonic activation does not seem to be the most determining factor, although there are active Holocene faults nearby (Las Carreras Fault 2). Geomorphological and human occupation data recovered from the alluvial fans enables us to estimate that the most recent capture was produced during the Late Holocene.

Abstract:

En este art´ıculo se propone un m´etodo basado en topolog´ıa algebraica para el an´alisis de colecciones de series de tiempo simult´aneas. Cada serie de tiempo corresponde a una variable. Se construye la matriz de correlaci´on de las variables y la red con pesos en las aristas asociada a dicha matriz. A trav´es de variar un par´ametro p entre 0 y 1, se obtiene una filtraci´on de complejos simpliciales. El an´alisis de las cavidades del complejo simplicial se realiza por medio de estudiar los cambios de los n´umeros de Betti de los complejos de la filtraci´on. Mediante experimentos computacionales, obtenemos resultados que sugieren que en el caso de que la matriz de correlaci´on provenga de series de tiempo simult´aneas que modelen un fen´omeno natural, la complejidad de las variaciones de los n´umeros de Betti es mucho menor que cuando la matriz de correlaci´on es aleatoria.
