La tesi, scandita in cinque capitoli, dopo un inquadramento teorico della letteratura di viaggio, che configura quest’ultimo come metafora di un percorso di conoscenza, si concentra sulle origini del mito letterario costituito dal locus patagonico. Vengono indagate le motivazioni odeporiche di Antonio Pigafetta, autore della relazione del primo viaggio intorno al mondo; le conseguenze della “deformazione” da lui operata circa le dimensioni degli abitanti del Fin del Mundo (deformazione che ha fornito suggestioni alla parola poetica di Shakespeare e al pensiero di Vico); alcune forme dell’immaginario occidentale in rapporto al tema dello Stretto e della scoperta del passaggio a sud-ovest da parte di Magellano. Una parte della tesi è dedicata a una tematica che si ritiene sin qui piuttosto trascurata nella tradizione culturale della Patagonia: la presenza (l’operosità) femminile in una regione da sempre considerata “terra per uomini”. La tesi ricostruisce alcune microstorie femminili (viaggiatrici, pioniere, bandoleras), che attraverso la contingenza del loro precario esistere, permettono il formarsi di un quadro più veritiero e articolato della macrostoria. Questa parte della tesi è completata, attraverso l’analisi dei testi letterari, da una ricostruzione del “viaggio”, doloroso e complesso, che la cautiva (donna bianca rapita dagli indios) ha dovuto vivere fra due civiltà diverse e tra loro antagoniste. La tesi si occupa, infine, di due esploratori italiani poco conosciuti ai più, ma che hanno grandemente contribuito alla conoscenza delle regioni magellaniche, delle montagne patagoniche e delle etnie fuegine: Giacomo Bove e Alberto Maria De Agostini. La Patagonia “minore” di questo studio (che ha rinunciato a “oggetti culturali” come Chatwin, come Coloane o Sepúlveda) sottolinea l’elemento del racconto presente in tutte le tipologie di viaggio e le scritture analizzate, e conferma la tesi di partenza: la Patagonia, per i suoi caratteri estremi, attiva nel viaggiatore una produzione di immagini di tipo proiettivo e di contatto profondo con la psiche. Fra le esperienze di scrittura raccolte (a parte, ovviamente, gli illustri autori del canone rioplatense presenti nel capitolo dedicato alle cautivas), viene segnalato, per dignità e compiutezza, il caso di Alberto Maria De Agostini, nella cui prosa divulgativa trapela un’intenzionalità circa la dimensione formale che appartiene di diritto alla letterarietà del testo. The theme Pessoa by Bethânia is the recreation of Caeiro's verses from the performance Rosa dos Ventos- O Show Encantado (Compass Roses - The Enchanted Show), having Maria Bethânia as interpreter. The corpus is the "Poem VIII" from Alberto Caeiro, Fernando Pessoa's heteronym, extracted from the work O Guardador de Rebanhos (The Keeper of Sheep) (1911 - 1912), transformed into a dramatic-musical script, made as a performance during the Compass Rose show. Reinterpreted through voice, body, music and various scenic resources, the poem by Fernando Pessoa wins another dimension in the passage going from text to literary work, in the design of Paul Zumthor, actually, going from the written word in book to bodily presence, updating the virtual scenic and vocals from the preliminary poetic texts. The research aims to answer a key question about the factors that conduct to the redefinition of "Poem VIII" in scenic performance, with the hypothesis that between poem and performance was preserved the same evocation of a new baby Jesus, close, human, simple and pure, stripped of the dogmatic symbolism that the Church imposes to his image and, likewise, it reiterated the role that poet and performer assumed as a kind of "demiurge" not in concept, but in sensations. On the other hand, the "Poem VIII" had lost, in the performance, its desecrating aspect, the high and ironic critic level of dogmas' Church, like the Caeiro's poem presents in the original version. In addition to the concepts of voice, performance, text and work of Paul Zumthor, the concept of "persona", having as a starting point Renato Cohen' studies about the performative act, was extremely important for the analysis of the dramatic-vocal performance of the interpreter Maria Bethânia. The comparative analysis between the poetic text and the passage for its performative work can states the validity of the hypothesis, in order to emphasize a new sacralization, now by the interpreter, invested with an aura that puts her in the intimacy of this new baby Jesus making his alive, every time the show takes place, and, as a ritual, sharing him with the public
Pessoa em Bethânia tem por tema a recriação dos versos de Caeiro no espetáculo Rosa dos Ventos O Show Encantado, tendo por intérprete Maria Bethânia. O corpus é o Poema VIII de Alberto Caeiro, heterônimo de Fernando Pessoa, da obra O Guardador de Rebanhos (1911 1912), transformado em roteiro dramáticomusical e tornado performance no espetáculo Rosa dos Ventos. Reinterpretado por meio da voz, do corpo, da música e dos mais variados recursos cênicos, o poema de Fernando Pessoa ganha outra dimensão na passagem do texto a obra, na concepção de Paul Zumthor, isto é, de palavra escrita no livro a presença corporal, atualizando as virtualidades cênicas e vocais do enunciado poético. A pesquisa se propôs a responder a uma indagação chave sobre os fatores condutores da ressignificação do Poema VIII no espetáculo cênico, tendo por hipótese que entre poema e performance preservou-se a mesma evocação de um novo Menino Jesus, próximo, humano, simples e puro, descarnado da simbologia dogmática que a Igreja lhe impõe e, da mesma forma, reiterou-se o papel que poeta e intérprete assumem como uma espécie de demiurgos não de conceitos, mas de sensações. Por outro lado, o Poema VIII perde, no espetáculo, o seu aspecto dessacralizador, de alta voltagem critica e irônica dos dogmas da Igreja, tal qual o poema de Caeiro apresenta em sua versão original. Além dos conceitos de voz, performance, texto e obra de Paul Zumthor, o conceito de persona , a partir dos estudos sobre o ato performático de Renato Cohen, foi de extrema relevância para a análise da atuação dramático-vocal da intérprete Maria Bethânia. A análise comparativa entre o texto poético e sua passagem para obra performática pode constatar a validade da hipótese, de modo a enfatizar uma nova sacralização, agora da intérprete, investida de uma aura que a coloca na intimidade desse novo Menino Jesus e o torna vivo, a cada vez que o espetáculo acontece, e, como num ritual, partilha-o com o público

Resumo: Este trabalho trata da conjuntura política peruana de 1987 a 1990, que possibilitou a aparição política do Engenheiro Alberto Fujimori Fujimori e seu posterior triunfo eleitoral que o levou a ser eleito Presidente da República. Em base a testemunhos de outros personagens envolvidos nessa conjuntura, textos de alguns autores sobre o tema, pesquisas de opinião pública, dados encontrados em jornais peruanos da época e a observação direta do autor sobre os acontecimentos; os principais momentos do processo político são reconstruídos, verificando as reações do eleitorado peruano e a atuação das principais forças e figuras políticas em fatos ocorridos antes e durante a campanha eleitoral. Na análise dos dados apresentados, encontramos várias circunstânciasconjunturais que permitem o triunfo eleitoral de Fujimori, principalmente, uma situação de crise no sistema de representação de partidos políticos no Peru e, intimamente relacionado com isto, uma forte rejeição do eleitorados peruano à classe política tradicional desse país
Abstract: This work deals with the peruvian political context of 1987 to 1990 which allowed for the polítical appearence of Engineer Alberto Fujimori Fujimori and his subsequent electorial triumph resulting in his election as President of the Republic. Based upon testimony of personalities involved in this context, texts of some authors about the theme, public opinion research, data from the Peruvian press during the epoch and direct observations of the researcher about the happenings; the principal moments of the political process are reconstructed, verifying the reactions of the peruvian electorate and the actuation of the principal political forces and figures in facts occuring before and during the electorial campaign. 'n the analysis of the data presented, we encountered varias contextual circumstances that permitted the electorial triumph of Fujimori. Principally, a situation of crisis in the system of representation of political parties in Peru and, intimately related to this, a strong rejection by the peruvian electorate of the traditional political class of this country

Abstract:
El objetivo del estudio radica en conocer cuán significativa es la relación entre los niveles de memoria auditiva inmediata y los procesos de comprensión lectora, siendo estas dos variables importantes para que el estudiante logré decodificar la información teniendo en cuenta diversos procesos que lo ayuden a comprender de manera explícita y eficaz lo que lee, para ello, el presente estudio relaciona principalmente los niveles de memoria auditiva inmediata: lógica, numérica y asociativa con los procesos de comprensión lectora: perceptivo, léxico, sintáctico y semántico. Para la muestra del estudio, 67 estudiantes del Colegio Nacional Mixto “Alberto Ribera y Piérola N° 1189 - Marca Perú” – Chaclacayo, fueron seleccionados mediante diseño no probabilístico intencional; los cuales fueron valorados con las pruebas MAI y PROLEC R, que fueron adaptadas bajo los estándares de Lima Metropolitana. Finalmente, los resultados evidenciaron que la relación establecida entre ambas variables resultó estadísticamente significativa en el aspecto numérico en relación con los procesos de la comprensión lectora. Por otra parte, no se evidenció resultados significativos en los aspectos lógicos y asociativos en relación con los procesos de la comprensión lectora. Estos resultados permitirán que otros investigadores a futuro amplíen el campo de estudio teniendo como referencia la presente investigación.
The main objective of our this study is to find out how significant the relationships between immediate auditory memory and reading comprehension processes can be, for which both variables are linked in: the levels of immediate auditory memory (logical, numeric and associative memory) and the reading comprehension processes (perceptual, lexicon, syntactic and semantic process). These two variables are important for the student to decode the information taking into account various processes that help him to understand explicitly and effectively what he reads. The students in the sample were selected by The Transversal Descriptive Design - Correlational, consisting of 67 students of the Joint Public School "Alberto Ribera and Pierola N ° 1189 - Brand Peru", Chaclacayo. The students were evaluated with The Immediate Auditory Memory Test - MAI and Assessment Battery of the Reading Process, revised PROLEC - R, both adapted to Lima. On the other hand, there is no evidence of the results were straightforward in the logical and associative aspects in relation to the reading comprehension processes. These results allow other future researchers to expand the field of study with reference to the current investigation.

Si la mafia est un objet d’étude, certes récent, l’antimafia reste en revanche un trou noir de l’historiographie du Mezzogiorno alors que les assasssinats des représentants de l’État sont des moments de tenisons dans l’histoire de l’Italie républicaine. Nous avons choisi de concentrer notre attention sur quatre figures emblématiques assassinées au cours des crises de violence mafieuse de 1982 et 1992 : Pio La Torre (député et secrétaire régional du PCI) ; Carlo Alberto dalla Chiesa (assassiné alors qu’il était préfet de Palerme) ; Giovanni Falcone et Paolo Borsellino (magistrats). Afin d’observer le processus de construction d’une mémoire publique de la lutte contre la mafia, nous utilisons un panel de sources typique de l’histoire du temps présent, archives, presse, productions mémorielles écrites et audiovisuelles, mais aussi des sources orales grâce aux entretiens réalisés lors de notre enquête de terrain. Ces sources nous permettent tant de comprendre le contexte que d’analyser l’évolution des représentations des martyrs de la lutte contre la mafia.La première partie est consacrée à l’étude du moment des assassinats et de la construction d’une mémoire immédiate. L’analyse de la presse au lendemain des crises de violence mafieuse fait émerger les caractéristiques de la mémoire immédiate des victimes et révèle un mobilisation civile antimafia sans précédent. La deuxième partie s’intéresse à la construction et à l’institutionnalisation de la mémoire des victimes, à travers l’étude des commémorations et des représentations. L’analyse croisée des différentes sources met au jour les différentes strates de la construction mémorielle. Enfin, la troisième partie montre que la mémoire de l’antimafia, bien qu’institutionnalisée et structurée, est en réalité une mémoire tourmentée, comme le démontrent les manquements de la justice, les usages politiques de la mémoire de l’antimafia ou le conditionnement des commémorations décennales par l’actualité. Faire l’histoire de la mémoire de l’antimafia nous permet ainsi de révéler, sous un jour nouveau, un certain nombre de tensions qui caractérisent l’Italie contemporaine. La mémoire de la lutte contre la mafia apparaît donc comme un observatoire privilégié pour examiner les mutations politiques, sociétales et culturelles de l’Italie républicaine
Though the Mafia has become recently an object of study, the Antimafia remains a black hole in the historiography of the Mezzogiorno while the assassinations of officials constitute tense moments in the history of Republican Italy. We have chosen to focus our attention on four emblematic figures that were murdered by the Mafia over its 1982 and 1992 outbursts of violence: Pio La Torre (deputy and regional secretary of the PCI); Carlo Alberto dalla Chiesa (assassinated while he was Palermo prefect); Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino (magistrates). In order to observe how a public memory of the fight against the Mafia was built, we use a panel of sources that is typical of the present time history: archives, press, written and audiovisual memory productions, but also oral sources thanks to the interviews we lead during our field investigation. These sources allow us to understand the context as well as to analyze the evolution of the representations of the anti-mafia fight’s martyrs.The first part is dedicated to the study of the moment when these four officials were assassinated and an immediate memory built. The analysis of the press, in the wake of the outbursts of violence of the Mafia, brings out the characteristics of the immediate memory of victims, and reveals an unprecedented anti-mafia civil mobilization. The second part deals with the elaboration and the institutionalization of the victims’ memory, through the study of the commemorations and the representations. The cross-study analysis of our various sources brings to light the different strata of the memory elaboration. Finally the third part shows that the anti-mafia memory, though institutionalized and structured, is actually a tormented memory, as is revealed by the justice breaches, the political uses of the anti-mafia memory or the conditioning effect of current events on the decennial commemorations. Making the history of the anti-mafia memory thus allows us to reveal under a new light a number of tensions that are characteristic of contemporary Italy. Therefore the memory of the fight against the Mafia appears as a privileged observatory to examine the political, societal and cultural mutations of Republican Italy

Abstract:
In the context of the growing political instability and deepening economic crisis in Uruguay during the 1960s and early 1970s, the thesis examines two propositions. The first is that politically informed intellectuals, though disaffected or marginalised, will integrate themselves into the political mainstream if circumstances demand and a suitable vehicle allows them to participate usefully in the political process. The second is that, in the Uruguayan case, an expanded notion of dialogue is essential in analysing how this was accomplished, partly because the idea of dialogue was a necessary part of how they worked together and communicated with their public, and partly because dialogue was seen as a crucial element in reforming the nation and as the basis of the relationship between the political party that was to be the agent of such reform and its potential constituency. The thesis begins by examining how the so-called 1945 and 1960s generations overcame intergenerational squabbles and worked together, with the help of an expanding publishing industry, to create a public for their meditations on Uruguay's problems. Then, after briefly outlining the importance of dialogue to the essay as a genre and its role in developing national identity in Latin America, the study examines essays on the state of Uruguay by four major writers in the 1960s: Roberto Ares Pons, Alberto Methol Ferr??, Carlos Maggi and Washington Lockhart. The thesis then traces the intelligentsia's role in the several attempts to heal the rifts within the Uruguayan left and in the formation of the centre left coalition, the Frente Amplio, in 1971, to show how the notion of dialogue was incorporated into its structure, mode of operation and political program. The final section, a case study of Mario Benedetti's political activities and propagandist essays of 1971-1973, examines the contradictions of working as a committed intellectual when the very conditions necessary for intellectual life are breaking down. The thesis concludes that the resurrection of the nation as a site for dialogue with and among all members of society, a project in which the intelligentsia had enthusiastically participated, foundered because drastic political polarisation permitted only one militarist and monologic solution.

The doctoral thesis reflects the poetry of Quintana and Combis, taking into account that we keep the original manuscripts or first editions checked by the author in the family house of Torroella de Montgrí. The fact of having the material in the family library (or ancestral home) justifies that the study orders, classifies and transcribes the poet's originals. The objectives or aims of the academic work have focused on the elaboration of a biography of Albert de Quintana and Combis (1834-1907), which includes all the aspects that developed such as proprietor, politician and poet. Apart from that, the objectives have also classified the manuscripts of Quintana and Combis Library of Torroella. Finally we have investigated various editions of the poetic impress work of Quintana and we have elaborated the diplomatic transcription of his literary work complete
La tesi recull l’obra poètica de Quintana i Combis, tenint en compte que conservem els manuscrits originals o les primeres edicions revisades per l’autor, a la casa familiar de Torroella de Montgrí. Antinoopolis, fondation de l'empereur Hadrien en 130 de notre ère, apparait comme un site majeur de l'Égypte de l'antiquité tardive par la magnificence de son architecture, image d'un souverain évergète guidé par un ambitieux dessein politique, et par son incontestable aura tant intellectuelle que religieuse. Ses vastes nécropoles, fouillées dès la fin du XIXe siècle par l'archéologue Albert Gayet (1856-1916), ont livré une moisson extraordinaire de documents de tous ordres, d'époques romaine et byzantine, devant laquelle on demeure aujourd'hui déconcerté. Une certaine confusion dans la conduite des fouilles et l'éclatement des collections dans une centaine de musées en France, imposaient d'abord un état des lieux à la lumière de témoignages littéraires anciens ou modernes et à partir d'archives, en grande partie inédites. La reconstitution des faits historiques, archéologiques et muséographiques apporte un éclairage nouveau sur les caractères propres de la cité et sur les priorités données à son exploration. La confrontation entre ces données et le matériel exhume révèle des pièces souvent méconnues et des aspects ignorés, dont l'analyse est fragilisée par les manques et pertes, tant d'informations sur le contexte archéologique que de pièces elles-mêmes (problèmes de conservation et de destruction). Ce matériel reflète à la fois le quotidien des habitants d'Antinoë et leurs croyances à travers les usages funéraires ; le bilan dégagé permet, par comparaison avec d'autres sites, de retenir certaines particularités et singularités qui n'appartiennent qu'à la métropole hadrienne ou n'ont été reconnues qu'ici.

L’océan Arctique est marqué par une forte saisonnalité qui se manifeste par la présence d’une banquise permanente dont l’extension varie entre 6 et 15 millions de kilomètres carré. Interface plus ou moins perméable, la banquise limite les échanges atmosphère - océan et affecte le budget énergétique global en réfléchissant une part importante du rayonnement incident. Le manteau neigeux qui se forme à sa surface est un élément essentiel notamment parce qu’il contribue fortement aux propriétés optiques de la banquise. D’une part par son albédo, proche de l’unité dans le visible, qui retarde sensiblement la fonte estivale de la glace. Et d’autre part, il est majoritairement responsable de l’extinction verticale de l’éclairement dans la banquise. Or, la faible intensité lumineuse transmise à la colonne d’eau constitue un facteur limitant important à l’accumulation de biomasse des producteurs primaires souvent des micro-algues, à la base des réseaux trophiques. Le manteau neigeux en surface, par ces propriétés physiques et leurs évolutions temporelles, joue donc un rôle essentiel en impactant directement l’initiation et l’amplitude de la floraison phytoplanctonique printanière. Dans le cadre du réchauffement climatique actuel, les mutations que subit la banquise : amincissement, réduction de son extension estivale et variations des épaisseurs du manteau neigeux bouleversent d’ores et déjà la production primaire arctique à l’échelle globale et régionale.Cette thèse vise à mieux comprendre la contribution du manteau neigeux au transfert radiatif global de la banquise, afin de mieux estimer son impact sur la production primaire arctique. Elle s’appuie sur un jeu de données collecté lors de deux campagnes de mesures sur la banquise en période de fonte. Les propriétés physiques de la neige, SSA et densité, permettent une modélisation précise du transfert radiatif de la neige qui est validée, ensuite, par les propriétés optiques comprenant : albédo, profils verticaux d’éclairement dans le manteau neigeux et transmittance à travers la banquise.Au printemps, la neige marine, marquée par une importante hétérogénéité spatiale, évolue suivant quatre phases distinctes. La fonte, d’abord surfacique puis étendue à toute l’épaisseur du manteau, se caractérise par une baisse de la SSA de 25-60 m2kg-1 à moins de 3 m2kg-1 provoquant une diminution de l’albédo dans le proche infrarouge puis à toute longueur d’onde ainsi qu'une augmentation de l’éclairement transmis à la colonne d’eau. Cette période est chaotique, et marquée par une forte variabilité temporelle des propriétés optiques causées par la succession d’épisodes de fonte et de chutes de neige. Les propriétés physiques de la neige sont utilisées par un modèle de transfert radiatif afin de simuler les profils verticaux d'éclairement, l’albédo et la transmittance de la banquise. La comparaison entre ces simulations et les profils d’éclairement mesurés met en évidence la présence d’impuretés dans la neige dont leurs natures et leurs concentrations sont estimées. En moyenne, la neige échantillonnée contenait 600 ngg-1 de poussières minérales et 10 nng-1 de suies qui réduisaient par deux l’éclairement transmis à la colonne d’eau. Enfin, la modélisation de l’éclairement à toute profondeur de la banquise, représentée de manière innovante par des isolumes, est mise en relation avec l’évolution temporelle de la biomasse dans la glace. Il apparaît que la croissance des algues de glace est systématiquement corrélée avec une augmentation de l’éclairement, et ce, jusqu’à des niveaux d’intensité de l’ordre de 0.4 uEm-2s-2. Ces variations d’éclairement sont causées par le métamorphisme et la fonte de la neige en surface
The Arctic ocean shows a very strong seasonality trough the permanent presence of sea ice whose extent varies from 6 to 15 millions km2. As an interface, sea ice limits ocean - atmosphere interactions and impacts the global energy budget by reflecting most of the short-wave incoming radiations. The snow cover, at the surface, is a key element contributing to the optical properties of sea ice. Snow enhances further the surface albedo and thus delays the onset of the ice melt. In addition, snow is the main responsible for the vertical light extinction in sea ice. However, after the polar night, this low light transmitted to the water column is a limiting factor for primary production at the base of the oceanic food web. The snow cover, through the temporal evolution of its physical properties, plays a key role controlling the magnitude and the timing of the phytoplanktonic bloom. In the actual global warming context, sea ice undergoes radical changes including summer extent reduction, thinning and shifts in snow thickness, all of which already alter Arctic primary production on a regional and global scale.This PhD thesis aims to better constrain the snow cover contributions to the radiative transfer of sea ice and its impact on Arctic primary production. It is based on a dataset collected during two sampling campaigns on landfast sea ice. Physical properties of snow such as snow specific surface area (SSA) and density allow a precise modeling of the radiative transfer which is then validated by optical measurements including albedo, transmittance through sea ice and vertical profiles of irradiance in the snow.During the melt season, marine snow which shows strong spatial heterogeneity evolves fol- lowing four distinctive phases. The melting, which first appears at the surface and gradually propagates to the entire snowpack, is characterized by a decrease in SSA from 25-60 m2kg-1 to less than 3 m2kg-1 resulting in a decrease in albedo and an increase in sea ice transmittance. This is a chaotic period, where optical properties show a very strong temporal variability induced by alternative episodes of surface melting and snowfalls. The physical properties of snow are used in a radiative transfer model in order to calculate albedo, transmittance through sea ice and vertical profiles of irradiance at all depths. The comparison between these simulations and measured vertical profiles of irradiance in snow highlights the presence of snow absorbing impurities which were subsequently qualitatively and quantitatively studied. In average, impurities were composed of 660 ngg-1 of mineral dust and 10 ngg-1 of black carbon. They were responsible for a two-fold reduction in light transmitted through sea ice. The light extinction, calculated at all depths in sea ice, and represented by isolums, was compared to the temporal evolution of ice algae biomass. The results show that every significant growth in ice algae population is related to an increase of light in the ice. These growths were observed even at very low light intensities of 0.4 uEm-2s-2. Light variations in the ice were linked by snow metamorphism and snow melting at the surface

Superati «novant’anni d’impazienza» e dopo un lungo periodo votato all’autocommento e all’esplorazione delle proprie intenzioni, Raffaele La Capria ha raccolto le sue opere in due Meridiani curati da Silvio Perrella. La Capria ne ha celebrato l’uscita nella prolusione inaugurale di Salerno Letteratura, poi confluita nel breve autoritratto narrativo "Introduzione a me stesso" (2014). In questa sede, l’autore è tornato su alcuni punti essenziali della sua riflessione sulla scrittura, come la relazione, reciproca e ineludibile, fra tradizione e contemporaneità. All’epilogo del «romanzo involontario» di una vita, La Capria guarda retrospettivamente alla propria esperienza come ad un’autentica educazione intellettuale. Perciò, muovendo da un’intervista inedita del 2015, riportata integralmente in appendice, la tesi ha l’obiettivo di ricostruire l’apprendistato letterario di La Capria dai primi anni Trenta, quando l’autore ancora frequentava il ginnasio, fino all’inizio dei Sessanta, quando ottenne il premio che ne avrebbe assicurato il successo. Ces recherches se focalisent sur les représentations des nomades et leur évolution. Dès la Grèce ancienne une appréhension déterminée des nomades prend forme autour du pastoralisme et de l’habitat mobile, tout en incorporant d’autres éléments (le rapport à la guerre, à la sagesse, à la barbarie, à l’espace, à la politique…). Une histoire et une tradition commencent ainsi un cheminement millénaire qui trouvera son apogée dans la seconde moitié du XXe siècle, en particulier grâce aux textes de Chatwin, Moravia, Le Clézio, Duvignaud, Deleuze et Guattari
This research focuses on the representations of nomads and their evolution. Since ancient Greece a specific apprehension of the nomads has hinged on pastoralism and mobile dwelling, incorporating other elements (the relation with war, wisdom, barbary, space, politics...). Abstract:
O objetivo deste estudo é provar que se podem ler obras integrais de Maria Alberta Menéres no primeiro ciclo porque aos alunos as compreendem e os ajuda a desenvolver as suas competências linguísticas, as competências de leitura e escrita e a sua criatividade. A metodologia seguida foi a leitura autónoma, pelos alunos, na escola ou em casa de algumas obras da autora e posteriormente o preenchimento de guiões de leitura, por mim elaborados, e apresentação de um dos livros que leram à turma. O preenchimento destes guiões e a apresentação do livro visavam aferir a compreensão da obra e a utilização de vocabulário e estruturas frásicas utilizadas pela autora em posteriores produções textuais escritas (nos guiões) ou orais (na apresentação para a turma). Foram também realizados inquéritos a professores do primeiro ciclo para averiguar o seu conhecimento da obra da autora, a sua utilização em contexto de sala de aula e a sua opinião sobre a utilização ou não da obra integral com os alunos. Os resultados obtidos vieram provar a importância que este tipo de leituras tem no desenvolvimento do nível de literacia dos nossos alunos pois permite-lhes um maior desenvolvimento linguístico nas suas vertentes lexical e sintática o que consequentemente leva a um melhor desempenho na dimensão textual (quer a nível da interpretação de textos lidos quer a nível da escrita autónoma ou orientada). Deste estudo pode concluir-se que a leitura das obras desta autora, mesmo só com carácter lúdico, nesta faixa etária, é perfeitamente acessível, desenvolve e diversifica o vocabulário, desperta a imaginação, criatividade e ordenação lógica das ideias dos alunos para a escrita de novas aventuras com maior valor linguístico.

Abstract:
This investigation centred on the perception and subjective interpretation of the artistic work, which is closely related to the experience of the spectator. My analysis thus focused on the spectator’s physical and perceptual interaction with specific works, which was activated by the effects of reflection. Reflection is considered in the theoretical and philosophical writings of Merleau-Ponty and Jacques Lacan as a fundamental element in the construction of the identity and ego consciousness of each individual. I therefore analyse the impact of the theories of both philosophers on the conceptual approach to artistic production in the 20th and 21st centuries. The artworks mentioned here have in common the deepening of the collective perceptual experience. In these sculptural environments or installations each spectator constructs his or her perceptual experience of space from the interaction with others. Space is understood here as real space, including both architecture and nature. Reflection is in this investigation also approached from the technical and methodological point of view of the sculpture. In this case, it results from a combination of materials that were specifically designed and prepared by the artists to create the most diverse reflecting surfaces. Finally, a selection of original studies, experiments and sculptures is presented in the final chapter. They were conceived during this master's degree and stemmed from my experiences with reflection. The final chapter highlights two sculptural works and the conceptual process that preceded their production. It also emphasises the relationship between my artistic practice and all the research and investigation developed within the scope of this project.

Abstract:
This dissertation analyses the roles and functions of the German film press during the Third Reich and explores the changes and tensions that characterized German cinema and, by extension, German society during that time period. A close reading of three major publications -- a trade journal, Film-Kurier, a popular magazine, Filmwelt, and the regime's official publication, Der deutsche Film -- first challenges the traditional view of a monolithic, top down control by the Nazi regime. I show the extent and the limits of the regime's utilization of culture and media and demonstrate how different parties used the film press to pursue different, but not mutually exclusive goals. By delineating the film press as a more dynamic public forum than previously assumed, this study secondly informs us about the multifaceted uses and functions of the film publications, and about the changing relationships between the film industry and the regime, as well as the theater, the music, and the press industries. I combine a media specific approach--demonstrating the central role of film publications in articulating the contradictions within film culture--with an exploration of the media convergence in place at the time. I thus firmly position the film press at the nexus of politics, business, film professionals, and the audience, and uncover a lively, albeit restricted, discursive system, with theoretical and practical discussions about film, its achievements under the new regime, its weaknesses and the need for improvement. I focus on the three most discussed issues: the relationship between film and theater, between film and music, and, as a correlation of the two previous topics, the need to train a new generation of film professionals, the Nachwuchs. This dissertation thus traces an important moment in German film history characterized by sustained debates about political, technical, aesthetic, and social aspects of film. More importantly, it uses the film press as a mirror to some of the tensions that characterized German society along several divides such as the masses and the elite, the past and the present, as well as the contradictions in its treatment and representation of gender and sexuality.
