Abstract:
This study delves into the tale Aladdin and the Magic Lamp as the excerpt of the Middle Eastern folk tales collection One Thousand and One Nights rather than the popular Disney version. It problematizes the figure of Aladdin and rebrands him as an immoral ethicist as opposed to Disney hero who seeks strength within himself and the other text versions of him as a changed man. This problematizing essentially entails a critique of the Westernized moral figure and its basic universal lesson in the text to argue his being immoral. To do this, the methodology of the paper follows from a philosophical reading that subjectivizes the protagonist into the question of ethics. Specifically, it takes from ieks elaboration of the Nietzschean version of an immoral ethics that remains consistent with the fidelity to ones desire. The paper shows how the plot reveals Aladdins immoral ethics that is founded on strength and constant activity but presupposing the voluntary knowledge and cleverness of his existential choice. To back this, the study finds three distinct features, namely: 1) disregard to authority, 2) love beyond good and evil, and 3) negative will to power.DOI:10.24071/ijhs.2019.030108

Abstract:
This study uses a comparative method that is carried out on consumers who have shopped at the Estizy and Aladin Distro. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there are differences in the marketing strategy of the Estizy and Aladin Distro. Samples were taken as many as 100 people using a sampling technique, namely Proportioned Stratified random sampling. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The analysis technique used the Paraid Sample T Test. The results showed that the Estizy and Aladin distributions were -1,926 with profitability or sig. (2-tailed) 0.060. Thus the value of t count <t table (-1.926 <1.984) and the value of profitability or sig. (2-tailed) 0.060 <0.05, then H0 is rejected (there is no significant difference). So it can be concluded that the Estizy and Aladdin distributions have differences that are not much different.

Abstract:
The most promising way to reduce the need for fungicides in viticulture is the use of re-sistant cultivars. In this regard, an urgent task is the selection of table grape varieties with increased resistance to diseases and frost in combination with high marketability and taste. The article discusses the results of a fif-teen-year study of the promising table variety Aladdin. The variety is interspecific hybrid obtained from a saturating crossing Vostorg krasnyy × Vostorg muskatniy at All-Russian Research Institute for Viticulture and Wine-making– Branch of Federal State Budget Sci-entific Institution «FRARC». The Aladdin variety was compared with the regionalized table variety Vostorg, which is also the paren-tal form in the second generation. The viticul-ture is not irrigated, grafted, not covered, the training is fan type on trunk, the planting scheme is 3 × 1.5 m. In the variety study, the methods generally accepted in viticulture and the standard technology of cultivation of vineyards were used. The Aladdin variety is distinguished by an early ripening period, large berries, medium-sized bunches, firm pulp, attractive berry color, light muscat aro-ma. The variety has a proven genetic high re-sistance to powdery mildew and mildew, high frost resistance is confirmed by the data of agrobiological records. According to the total-ity of economically valuable traits, resistance to unfavorable biotic and abiotic environmen-tal factors, the Aladdin variety can be recom-mended for transfer to the State variety test-ing of the Russian Federation.

Abstract:
The live-action version of "Aladdin" (2019) is based on the 92nd edition of Disney's animated film of the same name, giving the audience a great visual treat. As a work in the Disney series, the image of the princess in the live-action version of "Aladdin" is one of the major attractions of the film. Disney's portrayal of princesses is varied. From a feminist perspective, the early images of the princesses embodied the patriarchal and husbandly expectations of women, which is a kind of expectation for women. With the public's understanding, Disney's character and image of the princess have become more diverse. With the advancement and development of feminist thought, the princesses of this period got rid of the constraints of a patriarchal society to achieve more individual autonomy. Aladdin" in the "Princess Jasmine" is the Disney company to change the image of a trend. Based on the text of the live-action film Aladdin, this paper uses deconstructionist theory as the main research method and feminism as the focus of inquiry to investigate the shortcomings of Disney's traditional dichotomous narrative in the modern viewing environment. The purpose of this paper is to explore the evolution of feminism over time and to summarize the development of feminism to date. It is concluded that the live-action version of Aladdin challenged the patriarchal status quo, deconstructed the male/female dichotomy in early princess films, and represented feminist values as a film that achieved mainstream success. The film showed how filmmakers struggled with stereotypical images of women in making the film and provided a strong role model for young women to understand that women should not be tied to the home but should find their own meaning. From a feminist perspective, the live-action version of "Aladdin" breaks the patriarchal mold of previous Disney princess films and provides audiences with a strong, self-reliant female figure.

Features of Buddhist philosophy as interpreted by the countercultural writer J. Kerouac play an important role in the artistic self-determination of the British poet and musician D. Bowie and the formation of his creative personality. The article suggests that Kerouac’s motif of the road has Buddhist philosophical overtones, which Bowie adopts to create the poetic “persona” of Aladdin Sane, functioning in a unique way in the album cycle of the same name. Aladdin’s “persona” is presented as schizophrenic, but at the same time embodying the concepts of “transience” and “absence of self”, close to Buddhist philosophy in Kerouac’s interpretation.

The finding shows that the Disney’s Aladdin campaigns ideology that refers to the American values such as freedom and American heroism. Besides, the discourse of Arab barbarism is developed in line with the practice of stereotyping such as labeling the Arab people as barbaric, bad, silly and wicked as well as dangerous Arabs. These imply to the removals of the Islamic messages and values that exists in the original tales of Arabian Nights. The Disney’s Aladdin completely removes the Islamic messages and values, and changes them into ‘American values’.

Abstract:

Abstract:
Since the first encounters between the East and the West, many Western artistic productions have been produced to introduce the Orient to the Occident. Antoine Galland’s translation of the oriental folkloric tales, known as One Thousand and One Nights marked a cultural transfer through introducing an exotic, colourful and adventurous, yet unsafe, life-threatening and mysterious image of the Orient. Scholars question the authenticity of the translation, and reject the true belonging of the tale of Aladdin’s Wonderful Lamp to the oriental cultural heritage suggesting its Western construction. This fabrication suggests the existence of several discourses that are to be unfolded with the critical discourse analysis of the pictorial and textual discourse of the tale and its several filmic adaptations. The tale was fully or partially adapted in several cinematographic productions during the last century. For example, while Aladin (1906) faithfully adapted part of the original tale, the 1992 version directed by Clements and Musker is a loosely inspiration perceived through an orientalist filter. The aim of this article is to investigate the authenticity and disclose the discourses concealed in Galland’s translation and its 1992 filmic adaptation, the critical discourse analysis in addition to Edward Saïd’s Orientalism provide the theoretical framework to analyse the excerpts from the translation and scenes from the film, in order to disclose the colonial, orientalist and feminist discourses they encapsulate.

Abstract:
Disney Corporation has recently released Aladdin (2019) as their official remake of their own animated Film Aladdin (1992). By making some significant changes in the storyline, Guy Ritchie, the director of the film, tried to create some newness through the actions of the film. But the gender role of the princess Jasmine and the casting of Genie have brought back the same old tendency of the corporation that is the stereotypical representation of the females and racial ethnicity. The princess becomes the victim, and the male rescues the female, and the black becomes the slave. This very study shows how Disney has been doing the stereotyped portrayal of the women and showing the racist attitude towards the dark-skinned people. Since this study is conducted through a textual analysis approach, initially, the dialogues and actions related to the objective of the study have been coded. Then by analyzing the two characters and their dialogues, contexts and related actions, this study explains how Guy Ritchie’s Aladdin (2019) contains the old philosophy of Disney, that is keeping the women inside the house and neglecting the dark-skinned people, which at the end made the film nothing but the old rum in the new bottle. Keywords: Females, Genie, patriarchy, portrayal, slavery.
