Seguendo spunti offerti da alcuni passi de Le affinità elettive di Goethe, il saggio ripercorre le vicende della Scuola storica tedesca nel corso dell’Ottocento, ragionando sui motivi tecnici e culturali che ne animarono gli sviluppi. Le dialettiche interne alla Scuola, originatesi a partire dal suo progetto di approccio scientifico al diritto, investono il modo di rapportarsi al passato e di impiegarne i prodotti, e la considerazione del ruolo del giurista all’interno della società. L’itinerario descritto evidenzia l’incessante ricerca di un dialogo soddisfacente fra ‘essere’ e ‘divenire’, fra passato e presente (e futuro), fra ‘sistema’ e ‘storia’.

Purpose. The research aimed to develop an integrated and systematic method for assessing risk in contemporary public art collections. The research outlines key elements of a public-art risk-management plan. Emphasis is placed on enhancing heritage protection from natural hazards and extreme events related to climate change and, more significantly, on how such a plan can strengthen resilience in the social and historic built environment. Methodology. To develop the method, the World Heritage Historic Center of San Gimignano (Italy), comprising both medieval heritage and contemporary public art, is investigated because of its unique cultural landscape. The landscape’s contemporary elements exist as the result of several cultural initiatives: Affinità Elettive (1994), Arte all’Arte (1998-2005), and UmoCA (2011). This research highlights how the ensured survival of San Gimignano’s public art is severely conditioned by the coexistence of physical, contextual, and managerial factors (hazards and vulnerabilities). Findings. Based on case studies, the research develops indicators and criteria for vulnerability and risk analysis. Moreover, the integration of public art into, and its contribution to, general DRM frameworks is discussed. Despite the fact that public art’s values can contribute to the resilience of historic urban centers, the research reveals important challenges to overcome if public art is to be incorporated into general risk-management policies. Originality. In light of this, a risk-analysis model has been developed following international policies and frameworks, the results of which could be integrated into the general-management and conservation plan for the contemporary collections in the public space. Moreover, in recognition of the importance of social, cultural, and economic processes in the conservation of public spaces, a values assessment has been incorporated into the risk management framework.

Il presente contributo nasce da un’indagine esplorativa condotta nel mese di febbraio 2021, con l’intento di cogliere gli atteggiamenti, le conoscenze e le esperienze professionali dei docenti di scuola primaria, del territorio cuneese e della città di Torino, rispetto alle prove Invalsi ed al loro utilizzo nella pratica didattica con un’attenzione specifica nei confronti della sezione dedicata alla Riflessione sulla lingua. La ricerca si concentra sulle caratteristiche degli approcci metodologici adottati, evidenziando le tipologie di attività utilizzate per stimolare la riflessione sulla lingua, e la quantità di spazio dedicato a ciascun contenuto grammaticale previsto dalle Indicazioni Nazionali del curricolo per l’infanzia e la scuola del primo ciclo del 2012 e dal Quadro di Riferimento delle prove Invalsi di italiano del 2018. Il contributo è articolato in tre sezioni: nella prima, si illustrano i legami esistenti tra teoria disciplinare e prospettiva didattica, si prosegue con un’analisi dei nessi presenti tra didattica della grammatica e prove Invalsi, individuando possibili affinità elettive tra i documenti ministeriali del 2012 ed il Quadro di Riferimento del 2018. Nella seconda sezione, si offre una fotografia della realtà emersa dallo studio delle evidenze, rilevate tramite un questionario proposto agli insegnanti, strutturato su cinque differenti macrotemi: l’organizzazione di un istituto scolastico come sistema complesso; la percezione rispetto all’inclusione dei bisogni educativi; l’utilizzo degli esiti delle prove Invalsi nella progettazione didattica d’istituto e curricolare; le finalità e gli obiettivi generali dell’Invalsi e, in particolare, per la riflessione linguistica; infine, le scelte metodologico didattiche utilizzate nell’insegnamento della grammatica ed i contenuti proposti nel percorso didattico. Nella terza parte, l’analisi si concentra sugli ambiti e sui contenuti della riflessione linguistica, con un’attenzione dedicata ai risultati ricavati dall’indagine e ad un loro approfondimento sia disciplinare sia didattico. Invalsi tests and reflection on language in elementary school: a survey of teachers’ perceptions This contribution is the result of an exploratory survey conducted in February 2021, with the aim of understanding the attitudes, knowledge and professional experiences of primary school teachers in the Cuneo area and the city of Turin with respect to the Invalsi tests and their use in teaching practice in a perspective of improvement, with specific attention to the section dedicated to Reflection on language. The research focuses on the characteristics of the methodological approaches adopted, highlighting the types of activities used to stimulate reflection on the language and the amount of space dedicated to each grammatical content provided for by the Indicazioni Nazionali del curricolo per l’infanzia e la scuola del primo ciclo of 2012 and the elements indicated in the Quadro di Riferimento delle prove Invalsi di italiano of 2018. The proposal is divided into three sections: in the first, we illustrate the links between disciplinary theory and didactic perspective, subsequently there is an analysis of the links between grammar teaching and Invalsi tests, identifying possible elective affinities between the ministerial documents of 2012 and the Quadro di Riferimento of 2018. In the second section, we offer a snapshot of the reality that emerged from the evidence, detected through a questionnaire completed by teachers, from which five different macro-themes emerged: the organization of schools as complex systems; perception with respect to the inclusion of educational needs; the use of the Invalsi test outcomes in the school and curricular educational planning; the general aims and objectives of Invalsi and, in particular, for linguistic reflection; finally, the methodological teaching choices used in teaching grammar and the content educational proposed. In the third part, the examination focuses on the areas and contents of linguistic reflection, with attention dedicated to the results obtained and their in-depth study, both from disciplinary and didactic viewpoints.

La tesi di dottorato analizza le cause della crescente «domanda di mafia» in Lombardia, regione unanimemente considerata la «locomotiva d’Italia», che può vantare una lunga e importante tradizione civica e imprenditoriale, ma che negli ultimi anni è stata colpita dalle prime condanne per associazione mafiosa di alcuni suoi imprenditori. Recuperando il concetto di «affinità elettive» di Pierre Bourdieu, il lavoro di ricerca ricostruisce le tappe del radicamento mafioso nel tessuto socio-economico, politico e culturale regionale, in particolare nella città di Milano. In una prospettiva diacronica, ha analizzato genesi ed evoluzione del rapporto tra fenomeno mafioso e classe dirigente economica lombarda, attraverso l’approfondimento di vicende significative all’interno della periodizzazione storica adottata («la semina mafiosa», anni ’50-‘60 – «la grande trasformazione», anni ‘70 – «l’ibridazione», anni ’80-‘90 – «la simbiosi», anni Duemila). Partendo dagli assunti che «la mafia non è un cancro proliferato per caso su un tessuto sano» e che «la vera forza della mafia è fuori dalla mafia», la ricerca ha individuato quegli elementi «potenzialmente affini» della cultura imprenditoriale lombarda e ha indagato le cause storicamente rilevanti che hanno permesso alle diverse declinazioni del fenomeno mafioso di divenire, nell’arco di 70 anni, attori sociali quasi-normali dello scenario socio-economico e politico lombardo.
The dissertation analyzes the causes of the growing «mafia demand» in Lombardy, a region unanimously considered the «locomotive of Italy», which can boast a long and important civic and entrepreneurial tradition, but which in recent years has been affected by the first convictions for mafia association of some of its entrepreneurs. Recovering Pierre Bourdieu's concept of «elective affinities», the research work reconstructs the stages of Mafia roots in the socio-economic, political and cultural fabric of the region, particularly in the city of Milan. From a diachronic perspective, it investigates the genesis and evolution of the relationship between the mafia phenomenon and the Lombard economic ruling class, through an in-depth study of significant events within the historical periodization adopted («mafia sowing», in 1950s-1960s - «the great transformation», in 1970s - «hybridization», in 1980s-1990s - «symbiosis», in 2000s). Starting from the assumptions that «the mafia is not a cancer that has proliferated by chance on healthy tissue» and that «the real strength of the mafia is outside the mafia», the research has identified those «potentially kindred» elements of the Lombard entrepreneurial culture and investigated the historically relevant causes that have allowed the various forms of the mafia phenomenon to become, in the span of 70 years, quasi-normal social actors of the Lombard socio-economic and political scenario.
