Abstract:
Let b ≥ 2 and n ≥ 2 be integers. For a b-adic n-digit integer x, let A (resp. B) be the b-adic n-digit integer obtained by rearranging the numbers of all digits of x in descending (resp. ascending) order. Then, we define the Kaprekar transformation T ( b , n ) ( x ) : = A - B . If T ( b , n ) ( x ) = x , then x is called a b-adicn-digit Kaprekar constant. Moreover, we say that a b-adic n-digit Kaprekar constant x is regular when the numbers of all digits of x are distinct. In this article, we obtain some formulas for regular and non-regular Kaprekar constants, respectively. As an application of these formulas, we then see that for any integer b ≥ 2 , the number of b-adic odd-digit regular Kaprekar constants is greater than or equal to the number of all non-trivial divisors of b. Kaprekar constants have the symmetric property that they are fixed points for recursive number theoretical functions T ( b , n ) .

Abstract:
Introduction: The revolution in technology has changed the entire environment. In this digital environment Internet is the basic action. Apart from the numerous advantages, Internet Addiction (IA) is emerging as a public health issue. The adolescents are at higher risk as their mental acumen is immature. At one point Internet addicts feel depressed. Adolescents with depression are at risk for increased recurrence of depression. Aims of the study is to find the prevalence of IA and to explore the relationship between IA and depression among Indian Adolescents. Research Methodology: A cross sectional survey was conducted on randomly selected 450 adolescent students aged between 10-18 yrs of urban schools of Lucknow in the period of one year. Internet Addiction Test (IAT) was applied to find the Internet addiction and PHQ9-A (PHQ9 modified for adolescents) was used to find the depresion. Result: In 351 Internet users 33.61% (118) were not addicted, while 66.38% (233) students fall in catogry of addiction. Among Internet addicts, mild, moderate, moderately severe and severe depression was found in 56.22% (131), 16.73% (39), 14.16% (33) and 4.29% (10), respectively. Depression is a major contributor to the global burden of diseases worldwide and is ranked as the second leading cause of disability. Our study clearly shows an indirect correlation between IA and depression. Thus, this is the high time to educate the students at school level regarding the optimal use of Internet through talks, handbills or booklet which shall also guard the incidence of depression among adolescents.

Moreover, we establish the boundedness of commutators of the weighted multilinear p-adic Hardy operators on the product of p-adic central Morrey spaces. However, it’s worth mentioning that these results are different from that on Euclidean spaces due to the special structure of the p-adic fields.

Abstract:
Current study was planned to find out the difference between the perceived parenting styles of drug addict and non-addict medical students. Total sample of the study was two hundred (N=200) medical students that comprised of one hundred addict (n=100) and one hundred (n=100) non-addict medical students with age range of 18 to 29 years. Data was collected from different medical colleges in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through convenient and snow ball techniques. Data was collected through adolescent’s alcohol and drug usage scale (Moberg, 1991)and parenting styles questionnaire (Buri, 1991) . The results of the study indicated that authoritative parenting style was significantly reported by non-addict medical students, whereas addict medical students reported higher scores on authoritarian parenting style. It can be therefore concluded from the findings of the study that parenting styles play a significant role in the mental wellbeing and promotion of healthy habits among youth. The study supports the idea that controlling parenting style may contribute to promote mental health problems among youth such as drug addiction.

Abstract:
Drug dependency is clearly a problem for almost every country and Bangladesh is no exception. As the parents and peers are the closest persons of an adolescent whether addict or non-addict, so the present study was conducted with the following objectives: (a) To explore the peer relationship of the drug addict adolescents, (b) to investigate the parenting style of the fathers of the drug users and (c) to find the economic status of adolescent drug users. 60 male drug addict adolescents from different areas of Dhaka city were selected following snow ball technique. For the assessment of peer relation a scale drug and alcohol use-High risk behavior by Church (1994) was translated into Bangla and for assessing parenting style of the fathers of adolescents drug addicts Parental Acceptance/Rejection Questionnaire Child (PARQ), Short version of Rohner (2004b) was translated into Bangla and were used. For the analysis of the obtained data frequency count and percentage of responses made by the drug addict adolescent about their peers and fathers were calculated. The results show that the adolescent drug addict has very close relation with their peer as the type of drugs, frequency of taking drug and even factors determining their being drug addict are almost same. Results further show that parenting style of the fathers of the drug addict adolescent is rejective. Most of the adolescent get coldness or lack of affection, hostility or aggression, indifference or neglect, undifferentiated rejection but little warmth from their fathers. Finally, addiction is found to spread over access all economic status from almost lowest to highest in the present study. Dhaka Univ. J. Biol. Sci. 28(1): 9-20, 2019 (January)

We give an explicit characterization of ergodicity of rational functions on the set of units of the [Formula: see text]-adic group by means of the coefficients in their nominators and denominators. Although rational functions are not ergodic on the set of p-adic numbers, this was proved by Diao and Silva, we study their ergodicity on the 2-adic unit sphere if they only contain integer coefficients. The first results of this paper provide isometricity tests of polynomials and rational functions on the set of 2-adic units with 2-adic integer coefficients. Then, follow results on ergodicity tests on general isometric functions, then on rational functions on the set of 2-adic units with 2-adic integer coefficients.

Abstract:
Motivated by successful p-adic modeling of the genetic code, in this paper a p-adic (ultrametric) language is introduced. This language can serve as an effective and advanced constructive element of a future artificial intelligence. In this geometric approach to artificial language, we mainly use p-adic distance as the most powerful example of ultrametrics. Here p-adic distance is a tool to quantify similarity between words - similarity between their structure and similarity between their meaning. As a simple illustration, a p-adic language with four letters and their 3-letter words is presented.

Abstract:
Gaussian measures on infinite-dimensional p-adic spaces are introduced and the corresponding L2-spaces of p-adic valued square integrable functions are constructed. Representations of the infinite-dimensional Weyl group are realized in p-adic L2-spaces. p-adic Hilbert space representations of quantum Hamiltonians for systems with an infinite number of degrees of freedom are constructed. Many Hamiltonians with potentials which are too singular to exist as functions over reals are realized as bounded symmetric operators in L2-spaces with respect to a p-adic Gaussian measure.

States are required to submit to the International Narcotics Control Board copies of laws relating to narcotic and psychotropic drugs. These have been used to study the changes in the definitions of ‘addict’ and ‘drug addict’ over the years. Most countries now recognise the need for the ‘addict’ to be treated medically rather than punished. Some recent definitions recognise that similar problems can result from the use of products not normally regarded Abstract drugs, such as volatile solvents.

We evaluate the ordinary convolution of Bernoulli polynomials in closed form in terms of poly-Bernoulli polynomials. As applications we derive identities for [Formula: see text]-adic Arakawa–Kaneko zeta functions, including a [Formula: see text]-adic analogue of Ohno’s sum formula. These [Formula: see text]-adic identities serve to illustrate the relationships between real periods and their [Formula: see text]-adic analogues.

Abstract:
In this paper, we introduce the ρ , q -analog of the p-adic factorial function. By utilizing some properties of ρ , q -numbers, we obtain several new and interesting identities and formulas. We then construct the p-adic ρ , q -gamma function by means of the mentioned factorial function. We investigate several properties and relationships belonging to the foregoing gamma function, some of which are given for the case p = 2 . We also derive more representations of the p-adic ρ , q -gamma function in general case. Moreover, we consider the p-adic ρ , q -Euler constant derived from the derivation of p-adic ρ , q -gamma function at x = 1 . Furthermore, we provide a limit representation of aforementioned Euler constant based on ρ , q -numbers. Finally, we consider ρ , q -extension of the p-adic beta function via the p-adic ρ , q -gamma function and we then investigate various formulas and identities.

Abstract We develop some of the foundations of affinoid pre-adic spaces without Noetherian or finiteness hypotheses. We give explicit examples of non-adic affinoid pre-adic spaces, and also a new condition ensuring that the structure presheaf on Spa(R, R^{+} ) is a sheaf. This condition can be used to give a new proof that the spectrum of a perfectoid algebra is an adic space.

Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to assess the level of thermal damage by determining the content of acid detergent insoluble crude protein (ADICP) in perennial cereal forage grasses Bromus inermis, Festuca pratensis, Phleum, depending on the phase of their vegetation (at the beginning of shooting, during the earing and flowering phases), as well as in silage and haylage prepared from them during the same phases. Samples for analyzes were dried at the temperature of 60-65 °C. Nitrogen of ADICP was determined in the residue of ADF (acid detergent fiber) obtained by filtering a solution of acid detergent through a paper filter. With the growth of grasses, an increase in the content of ADF in them was observed, followed by an increase in ADICP in Phleum and especially in Festuca pratensis which was characterized by higher rates of ADF accumulation. In Bromus inermis, the increase in ADF did not lead to an increase in the concentration of ADICP in the grass due to a decrease of its portion in ADF. The content of ADICP in green grass ranged from 0.85 to 1.58 % in dry matter, ADF ‒ from 27.0 to 45.8 %, no correlation was found between them. Conservation of grasses in all phases of their growth caused an increase in the content of ADF compared to the original grass, but the mass fraction of ADICP in the dry matter of silage and haylage was not higher than in the original grass, due to a lower mass fraction of ADICP in the ADF compared to grasses. In this regard, it is noted that if the technology of harvesting silage and haylage is observed, there is no increase in the level of thermal damage to these feeds. In this regard, it is noted, that when the preparation of silage and haylage is carried out according to the required technology, there is no increase in the level of thermal damage to these feeds. There is close correlation between the percentage of ADICP in CP (crude protein) and the contents of CP. The correlation coefficients were -0.83; -0.88 and -0.92 for grasses, silage and haylage, respectively. The lowest percentage of ADICP in CP was observed in the early phases of grass growth. In this regard, there is a need to harvest them in earlier growth phases, since the content of CP decreases with growth and the proportion of indigestible protein in it increases. If there are organoleptic signs of thermal damage to feeds given in the article, it is recommended to make an amendment to CP content on the basis of the result of the analysis for the content of ADICP.
