Abu, Sultan Ahmed Ali. "La sociologie politique d'Ibn Khaldoun et son actualité." Paris, EHESS, 1993. http://www.theses.fr/1993EHES0310.
Full textCivilization is composed of the social, political, economic, cultural and spiritual components. What state is to civilization, form is to the matter, just like a container for contents. Thus the arab society is divided into three categories: homogeneous, communal and multiple, factors that influence the social and political stability. Ibn khaldoun considers that the espirit de corps is the first political nucleus; that is why the political power is represented by alliance emanating from esprits de corps. Excluding one or many of them upsets the entire equilibrium of the political system. The absence of such an alliance actually corresponds to the lack of parliamentary representation. Thus the political social conflicts which are going on in somalia, afghanistan, ex-yugoslavia and ex-soviet-union. . . Indicate the clear-sightedness of the author of prolegomenon (ibn khaldoun) in the field of multiplicity of esprits de corps, and lack of social, political, economic, and cultural representation
Sahinler, Menter. "Origine, influence et actualité du kémalisme." Paris 1, 1995. http://www.theses.fr/1995PA010512.
Full textBeing an empirical movement and not a dogmatical system, kemalism inscribes itself in the Turkish cultural heritage and at the issue of the Ottomanian reforms of the 19th century. In the decades of 1920 et 1930, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and his supporters have insured the independence of the Turkish nation and have established a republican dictatorship determined to impose the kamalist reforms. The aim of the government was the westernization of Turkey, in other words its secularization, its modernization and the creation of the necessary conditions for democracy. Nevertheless, the establishment of democracy in 1950 has coincided with a degradation of the acquirements of kemalism, and above all of the secularization, whence the intervention of the army, guarantor of the kemalist inheritance, in 1960. Kemalism in Turkey is exposed to the opposition of the radical Islamists who threaten democracy and secularization

Full textE. Appert (1831-1890) is a photographer known for his prisoners’ portraits after the Commune of Paris and for his photomontages of Crimes de la Commune. Meanwhile, he has begun his career before 1871 and for nearly thirty years. This photographer was in fact like a “reporter” looking after events of the moment. Weaving useful links with the Justice and the Paris police headquarters, his portraits and montages reflected political occurrences. Considered as a supporter of Thiers and closed to imperial family, Appert photographed above all the pick of Politic, Army and of the Church without choosing any side. He made a type of portrait, pure without any ornament: the model, politic or prisoner, seated on a simple chair in front of a plain background. His photomontages made carefully were mostly group portraits for political and judiciary actuality. The photographer developed narrowed links with illustrated press and has published portraits as early as the beginning of 1860 portraits in Le Monde Illustré and L’Illustration. This followed collaboration was an opportunity to be known by the public. From a modest social sphere, photography was a way for Appert to rise himself into the society. His commercial opportunism allowed the photographer to survive to economic and political difficulties throw the end of the Second Empire, siege of Paris, civil war and Third Republic

Full textNatural gas is not only a mainstay of the Russian economy, but also a major instrument of the Kremlin’s foreign policy. For Russia, the gas industry is used not only to sustain its economy and maintain high fiscal revenues but also to regain its place as a great power in world politics. Despite recent reforms, the domestic gas market in Russia still cannot substitute all benefits from exports. The new Russian gas strategy intends to promote Russia as a major producer, exporter and partner. These three characteristics will be the subject to this thesis. The European market remains a prime target for Moscow today, despite the efforts for exports diversification. This is proved by Gazprom's strategy of securing existing pipelines and building new gas routes to Europe. Energy links, established more than forty years ago, between Europe and Russia have led to a strong interdependence between the two partners. This interdependence is neither alarming, nor dangerous, it has to serve as a motivation for the establishment of a reliable energy partnership. Even though the two partners have divergent interests, the progress of the bilateral cooperation depends on their ability to adapt to this situation of interdependence

Full textIn Europe the french and german relationship is omnipresent and seems to have become entirely natural. Inspired by Roland Barthes’ Mythologies, this research aims to question the role played in the naturalization process by a press that is considered as « reference » and whose status is no longer questionned either. To that aim, two « reference » newspapers are compared in diachrony (1949-2013), Le Monde and the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. The stake is to understand how – trough the press institutionalization – the information becomes ideological which is precisely what this press claims to reject by defending ideals such as objectivity or neutrality. To grasp this ideological work, the research deconstructs a topical paradigma, called « french and german caractère ». The methodologies are based on a semiotic analysis of the newspapers : the « ideology-Effects » of their stories, their discourses and their pictures are successively approached. That way, the research shows how the daily newspaper acts politically and therefore plays a decisive role in the contact between national and european populations
Jreij, Kamilia. "La télévision arabe d'actualité Al Jazeera dans son rapport avec le gouvernement Qatari." Nice, 2009. http://www.theses.fr/2009NICE2004.
Full textIn our study we survey Al Jazeera arabic news television and its relationship with the Qatari Government, which finances it. Our problem is to prove “to what extent Al Jazeera has introduced Qatar on the international scene, and in this situation can this channel still be objective?” In this regard, we have double goals: The first one consists to demonstrate that Al Jazeera was a part of the qatari audiovisual strategy. The second is to explain the convergence between the editorial line of Al Jazeera and the qatari policy. In this thesis, we illustrate the coexistence between editorial independence and economic dependence, while Qatar supports the auto-financing of Al Jazeera. Certainly, the Qatari channel is not independent but has a large margin of freedom. The Qatari interference in Al Jazeera passes through the chairman of the channel, who is a member of the ruling family. The actors of Al Jazeera estimate their interventions as a professional supervision. We consider that Al Jazeera fight to preserve the profession of journalism with its perception of the “Original Journalism”. This research implies the relationship between the news and the history, explaining that the content of the Al Jazeera broadcasting was a strategic way for Qatar to balance its media strengths with the United States. It describes that the programs of Al Jazeera reflect the qatari views within a limit of objectivity and professionalism
Angoue, Minang Alfred. "Le pluralisme de l'information dans la presse gabonaise en ligne en période électorale au Gabon." Electronic Thesis or Diss., Université Grenoble Alpes, 2024. http://www.theses.fr/2024GRALL001.
Full textFor about two decades now, the emergence of online Gabonese press stands nowadays as an alternative source of information to traditional media. In a media system where press freedom still faces numerous obstacles due to a fledgling democracy, Gabonese digital media once again raises the question of information pluralism. During electoral periods, the role of the press as an element of democracy highlighting the principle of conflicting opinions and the media representation of political differences is even more desired. And it is at this level that we question the relevance of native Gabonese web media in terms of the added value of their information during elections compared to what exists with the traditional press. Analyzing the conditions of information production by the Gabonese online press during a period as sensitive as the 2018 legislative elections in Gabon and determining the level of informational pluralism resulting from it is the main objective of our research work

Full textIn 1919, France is emerging from a war in which she suffered a number of casualties previously unimaginable. The State is then brought to invent new tools to deal with the trauma of war and grief that affects society. Among them, the commemoration of the Armistice of November 11, 1918 has crossed the century and persists as a major event despite the disappearance of the last veterans of the Great War. This thesis focuses on the national ceremony on November 11, held annually since 1922 in Paris. The commemoration was organized around specific old and new rituals : the flags of the regiments disbanded and the unknown Soldier, or the minute of silence). This elements that became permanent emphasized the mournig dimension of the commemoration.
