Varlamov, Oleg. Mivar databases and rules. ru: INFRA-M Academic Publishing LLC., 2021. http://dx.doi.org/10.12737/1508665.

Full text
Abstract:
The multidimensional open epistemological active network MOGAN is the basis for the transition to a qualitatively new level of creating logical artificial intelligence. Mivar databases and rules became the foundation for the creation of MOGAN. The results of the analysis and generalization of data representation structures of various data models are presented: from relational to "Entity — Relationship" (ER-model). On the basis of this generalization, a new model of data and rules is created: the mivar information space "Thing-Property-Relation". The logic-computational processing of data in this new model of data and rules is shown, which has linear computational complexity relative to the number of rules. MOGAN is a development of Rule - Based Systems and allows you to quickly and easily design algorithms and work with logical reasoning in the "If..., Then..." format. An example of creating a mivar expert system for solving problems in the model area "Geometry"is given. Mivar databases and rules can be used to model cause-and-effect relationships in different subject areas and to create knowledge bases of new-generation applied artificial intelligence systems and real-time mivar expert systems with the transition to"Big Knowledge". The textbook in the field of training "Computer Science and Computer Engineering" is intended for students, bachelors, undergraduates, postgraduates studying artificial intelligence methods used in information processing and management systems, as well as for users and specialists who create mivar knowledge models, expert systems, automated control systems and decision support systems. Abstract:
Methods and techniques in music therapy are distinct from approaches and models which provide theoretical principles to guide action. Methods and techniques are music-based ways in which the service user or client is engaged musically. The techniques used are based on improvisational, compositional, and music listening opportunities that music therapists engage with clients. Music therapists can use music-based techniques with any combination of acoustic, electric, or electronic instrumentation, and the use of vocalization or singing is also offered. Anyone with musical skills can play music for another person; a person who is tired, in pain, or has a chronic illness or disability. Music therapy is distinguished from other ways of using music to support people in health care by both the training of the clinician, and the use of theoretical thinking to guide the use of techniques and principles in making helpful, effective, and evidence-based responses to needs.

Full text
Abstract:
High-intensity interval training (HIIT) is characterized by brief, intermittent bursts of near- or maximal-intensity exercise, interspersed by periods of active or passive recovery. The limited available evidence suggests that HIIT is an efficacious training method for young athletes. The effect of HIIT on cardiorespiratory fitness, endurance performance, explosive strength, and sport-specific performance has been examined in a range of young athletic populations from various sports. Furthermore, promising preliminary findings suggest that HIIT may confer further benefits to a range of health outcome measures including fasting insulin, lipoproteins, systolic blood pressure, and endothelial function; obese youth may benefit particularly from this type of training. Improved cardiorespiratory fitness has been observed consistently after HIIT in athletic and non-athletic populations. Larger studies, extended over longer periods, that include valid measures of exercise compliance, tolerance, and enjoyment are required to further delineate the priority that could be afforded to this type of training.

Rushe, Sinéad. Michael Chekhov’s Acting Technique. Bloomsbury Publishing Plc, 2019. http://dx.doi.org/10.5040/9781472503459.

Full text
Abstract:
Intended for actors, directors, teachers and researchers, this book offers an exceptionally clear and thorough introduction to the renowned acting technique developed by Michael Chekhov. Sinéad Rushe’s book provides a complete overview of the whole method, and includes illuminating explanations of its principles, as well as a wide range of practical exercises that illustrate, step by step, how they can be applied to dramatic texts. Part One provides an outline of the ideas that underpin the work, which help to prepare practitioners to become responsive and receptive, and to awaken their imagination. Part Two charts a journey through the foundational psychophysical exercises that can both orient an actor's training routine and be applied directly to the development of a role. Part Three focuses on more specific and elaborate methods of scene work, characterisation and the art of transformation. Drawing on the full range of Chekhov's writing in English and French, this book also examines unpublished material from the Dartington Hall archives and features interviews with actors who have worked with the technique, including Simon Callow and Joanna Merlin. It illustrates Chekhov’s approach by referring to Rushe's own productions of Nikolai Gogol's short story Diary of a Madman and Shakespeare's Othello, as well as characters and scenes in Sarah Kane's Blasted and the contemporary American television series Breaking Bad. Michael Chekhov’s Acting Technique is an accessible, comprehensive and contemporary point of reference for those already trained in the method, as well as an initiation and toolkit for practitioners who are just beginning to discover it.

Broussal-Derval, Aurélien, and Stéphane Ganneau. The Modern Art and Science of Mobility. Human Kinetics, 2020. http://dx.doi.org/10.5040/9781718214606.

Full text
Abstract:
The Modern Art and Science of Mobility is a striking visual guide to releasing muscle tension and activating muscles for functional motion. It goes beyond traditional training methods that focus on performance and aesthetics and asks these simple questions: Are you truly reaping the full benefits of training if it does not include mobility exercises? Why are the vast majority of people, even the most athletic individuals, unable to perform basic motor tasks without pain or difficulty? Why are physically active people still dealing with lack of mobility and chronic injury? Whether you are a casual exerciser or an elite athlete, you will learn how to preserve and maintain your body with over 300 exercises designed to improve mobility, facilitate recovery, reduce pain, and activate muscles. Utilize the self-tests to assess your current level of mobility, and then choose from over 50 prescriptive training routines that can be used as is or customized to target specific functional chains. You’ll find exercise recommendations based on body region, activity, and primary goal, and you’ll learn to incorporate a variety of techniques and popular equipment, including resistance bands, foam rollers, massage balls, and stability balls. The Modern Art and Science of Mobility provides a stunning visual presentation with over 1,200 photos and 100 original illustrations by Stéphane Ganneau. His illustrations highlight the muscles with precision, and his avant-garde style and the harmony of colors give this book a unique graphic signature. Mobility is the foundation for training your best and feeling your best. The Modern Art and Science of Mobility will help you do just that by helping you to alleviate pain, improve posture, and release muscle tension for a more comfortable and enjoyable quality of life.

Abstract:
The teacher training in Professional and Technologic Education (PTE) has been done by streamlined, fragmented and discontinuous government programmes. Notwithstanding, law No. 13415/2017 has established notorious knowledge, which the trend is to consolidate the precarious policies of teacher training for PTE. In this paper, I have the purpose of discussing the norms for teaching method considering the recurrent and historical gap in the effective policies of the obligation of training for the degree level or pedagogy complementation for the practice of the teacher profession. Moreover, my experience in the training and development of teachers of PTE substantiated the debate about teaching and learning methodologies and provided testimonies which might be appreciated for interested in deepening their knowledge in this subject. After the discussion about norms aspects, we will board to the education and its nuances station. The first stop is in the applied neurosciences station, where the passengers can do a fast visit to cognitive aspects important for understanding how young people learning. The driver whistles announcing the departure and soon he arrives in the station of active methodologies of learning (AML). Although it is not the end, might the passengers give up to continue the trip because in this station the tour is prolonged and interesting, thus take more time and dedication of tourists. The guide announces that the guided tour starts by theoretical concepts of AML and will finish by testimonies which collaborate for the interaction of the theory and practice.
