The paper reveals interrelations between the concepts “economic security”, “economic sustainability”, “development” and “competitiveness” of an enterprise. Based on their consideration, the paper enhances theoretical and methodological principles of establishing competitive innovation development and economic security of an enterprise. Unlike the existing ones, these principles provide for not only alternativeness but also equal significance when choosing between achievement of high levels of competitiveness, development and economic security. Application of the elaborated suggestions enables more objective formation of the policy of management of an enterprise’s innovation development under unstable conditions considering the industrial field and the market position of the enterprise. It is proven that essential elements of enterprises’ sustainable development include innovative activity, production provision, export of science-intensive products and development of high technology services, this providing for efficient levels of enterprises’ economic security and competitiveness. Under conditions of uncertainty, there are some basic functions of an enterprise aimed at enhancing its competitiveness and economic security including the following: achieving the optimal level of an enterprise’s resulting indicators and efficient “income-risk” ratio, innovative activity, ensuring the quality of an enterprise’s intellectual capital, environmental safety and meeting required social standards.

The need for improvement and development of logistics activities at transport enterprises is determined.
The content of the concept of “logistics activity” and theoretical aspects of its development at transport enterprises are revealed. Complex logistics functions and elementary logistics operations are analyzed.
The role and place of logistics activity and its influence on the functioning of transport enterprises are substantiated.
The efficiency of logistics activity at transport enterprises and directions of its improvement are analyzed. Among the areas identified there are three main: the use of big data (Big Data), cloud logistics and logistics platforms of supply chains, the Internet of Things.
Therefore, the availability and use of information platforms and technologies are extremely important in improving the logistics activities of transport companies. With their appearance, it becomes possible to develop various mathematical methods for simplifying logistics tasks and their practical implementation.
It is proved that the use of logistics contributes to the achievement of certain competitive advantages by transport enterprises.
The opinions of various authors on the definition of the concept of “logistics activities” are considered and a comprehensive definition of the concept is proposed.
The system of management of logistic activity of the enterprise, the place and role of the elements of logistic activity is given and it is proved that performance of tasks of logistic activity at each stage of a material flow management raises the competitiveness of the enterprise in the market of transport services.

Introduction. The analysis of the current state of development of enterprises in the conditions of transformational economy, thorough development of the process of their management necessitate theoretical rethinking of problems of motivation of human activity, its adaptation to new conditions of their functioning. Therefore, developing of scientific and methodological approaches to the formation of a motivational mechanism as a means of achieving the goals of managing enterprise development is an extremely important problem. Methods. Methods of logical generalization and comparison were used during the research to formulate the basic provisions and prerequisites for achieving the goals of the enterprise through a motivational mechanism at the enterprise; systematic analysis and synthesis, in particular, in the study of factors influencing the achievement of goals by enterprises, key characteristics and requirements related to the motivation mechanism; logical generalization - when formulating conclusions. Results. The article is devoted to the study of the essential content of the concepts of "development", "management", "motivational mechanism". The basic prerequisites for achieving the goals of the enterprise through the motivational mechanism are revealed. Systematic factors influencing the achievement of the goals of the enterprise. The essence of scientific approaches to the formation of a motivational mechanism in the enterprise is determined. Key characteristics of an effective motivational mechanism in the context of ensuring the achievement of the goals of the enterprise development are formulated based on the considered approaches. The requirements concerning the motivational mechanism as a means of realization of the goals of management of the enterprise development are substantiated. On the basis of the conducted researches the organizational and methodological components of the formation of the motivational mechanism at the enterprises were determined. Discussion. A promising area of research is to study the state of development of agricultural enterprises, the system of development management and, in particular, a motivational mechanism to further develop recommendations aimed at increasing the effectiveness of organizational units, fuller use of resource potential, in particular, human resources through the motivation of work. All operational system, which directed on the efficiency, considered on basis general methodic preconditions. Therefore, exactly of this methodic preconditions directed upon ensuring of flexibility, stability, self-organization, economic, managing on the enterprises in process accepting decisions leaders for achievement of their efficiency. The methodological basis of the research to lie down in comparison method – for determining indicators of the enterprises that pertain to accepting decisions; and also responsibility leader field; decomposition method – for substantiation of management and organization process; evaluation method – for research of managing activities level and their efficiency on the enterprises. The scientific novelty of received results is substantiation of what on efficiency of management the enterprises essential influence is the analysis of indicators that apply for accepting decisions. In addition, the scientific novelty is all-inclusive disclosure of effectiveness the enterprises by indicators, as a measure of the resulted and perfection of organizational processes and management the enterprises. Conclusion. It is management to determine success of the enterprises into internal and external markets, quality of structural changes and availability to adapt in condition of sharp competition. It mean, that businesspersons interested in use the main acquirements, provided by management – but in comparison with analytical researches, because this give possibility achieved up clearly building of organizing structure, decrease labor intensity of managerial works, to optimized up amount manager person, strengthen managerial influence, to concentrated up efforts of all workers into achievement of put entrepreneurs aims. The article investigates the issues of business process reengineering of integrated enterprises. It is determined that the impact on the efficiency of market activities is associated with the use of marketing and logistics tools. The newest management systems will allow to combine functions (production and commercial) in the strategies for achievement of the maximum effect at positioning of the integrated enterprises in various markets. It is proved that the formation of the management system of an integrated enterprise should take place on the basis of system, complexity, integrity and unity. It has been identified that the issues of partnership marketing become especially important in the application of the marketing and logistics system and in the entry of the integrated enterprise into the target market. The main factors of influence and factors of customer-oriented management formation at the enterprises are presented. It is determined that business process reengineering requires the development of a combined internal marketing and logistics system in accordance with changes in the market environment. It is outlined that marketing logistics should be formed in order to get the best results in the management system of integrated enterprises. The necessity of using marketing through two-vector understanding, and logistics – in a broader management area is proved. Marketing logistics takes into account all the features of production and commercial activities of integrated enterprises. It is presented that the concept of marketing and logistics management in the process of reengineering the business processes of integrated enterprises will have its own functionality. The defined set of functions is a combination of marketing and logistics. The need to involve the tools of partnership marketing has been identified in the reengineering of integrated enterprises due to the peculiarities of production and commercial components of their activities. It is proved that the combination of the main activity can have target markets in different areas, so the combination of internal marketing and logistics strategies into one is a crucial stage of their effective development. The article is devoted to the definition of the essential characteristics of economic security of private enterprises and its main components; it is proposed to expand the main structural elements of the system of economic security of private enterprises. The main functional objectives of economic security are: ensuring the high financial efficiency of work, financial stability and independence of private enterprises on a industry scale; ensuring technological independence and achieving the high competitiveness of the technical potential of small business enterprises; achievement of high efficiency of management; achievement of a high level of personnel qualification and its intellectual potential; Minimizing the devastating impact of the results of industrial and economic activity on the state of the environment; qualitative legal protection of all aspects of the activity of private enterprises, etc. It is proposed to consider the system of economic security of private enterprises as an integral set of subjects and objects of security, an environment that ensures their interaction and purposeful activity in the internal and external environment in relation to countering threats, protection of economic interests and, in general, creation of safe conditions for functioning at the planned level indicators. Attention is drawn to European experience and standards in the field of business security, but to take into account the fact that private enterprises of Ukraine are forced to operate in more difficult and dangerous conditions than in developed countries, therefore, during the period of the current stage of reforms in the sphere of private entrepreneurship, it is recommended to introduce normative and legal base which would fine-tune the peculiarities of functioning of private enterprises and create favourable conditions for the emergence of the economic crisis in order to create a reserve of strength in the event of unforeseen circumstances, as private enterprises are a significant component of the economic security of the state.

The article substantiates that achievement of certain economic security level set by management for the current time point is a necessary but insufficient condition of further development of the enterprise. When the mentioned condition is fulfilled, the degree of its personnel’s innovation activity should also be considered. The article presents further development of the methods of assessing the level of the dependent part of economic security of the enterprise’s stakeholders, including the personnel, which, unlike others available, is based on estimation of outstanding expenditures. Innovation activity of the personnel is determined to depend on their attitudes to innovations. The article presents a developed economic and statistic toolkit of assessing the personnel’s probable attitudes to implementation of innovations considering the degree of recognizing the necessity of innovations and awareness of the enterprise’s activities in terms of innovations. The level of probable (expected) attitudes to innovations is taken as a basis for a combined classification of particular personnel categories. The article suggests a matrix approach to determining the type of enterprise development based on comparison of the level of economic security for the current time point and the personnel’s innovation activity.

At the present stage of innovative economy for-mation in Russia the solution of problems of effective industrial complex development of the country is of the utmost importance. The Russian Federation, having the considerable potential for maintaining effective development of the industrial enterprises, is at the initial stage of innovative industry modernization. For efficiency increase of industrial enterprises activity, and, in particular, mechanical engineering, it is offered to use the following events: business process reengineering of some enterprises; creation of industrial clusters on the basis of the most effectively functioning enterprises; monitoring of the strategic development level and potential of the industrial enterprises with the purpose of detecting the most and the least promising. Business process reengineering involves strong, revolutionary reorganization of the organization processes which must be accompanied by the implementation of a new information system at the enterprise. Its purpose is a sharp improvement of key activity indicators. Industrial clusters represent modern form of enterprises associations on mesolevel of economy. For the purpose of achievement of maximum effectiveness of the industry it is also necessary to monitor the enterprises of the industry based on growth rates of business cost and potential. Using the listed methods will allow to rebuild radically both the separate enterprises of the industry, and the whole industry in general and made it the leading one for economic development of the country.

Дисертація присвячена розробці і науковому обґрунтуванні теоретичних і науково-методичних підходів щодо оцінки впливу конкурентної стратегії на результативність діяльності підприємств кондитерської промисловості. На основі дослідження сучасних поглядів провідних науковців щодо сутності та існуючої систематизації видів конкурентних стратегій підприємства, виявлено різноманітність підходів та класифікаційні розмежування, згідно яких, однi типи конкуpентних cтpaтегiй пеpетинaютьcя, iншi ‒ доповнюють однa одну. Ґрунтуючись на принципах системного підходу, проведено систематизацію видів конкурентних стратегій, з урахуванням сучасних реалій господарювання промислових підприємств та викликів вітчизняної економіки, що дозволяє розширити теоретичний базис формування портфелю конкурентних стратегій відповідно до рівня прогнозної результативності діяльності підприємств кондитерської промисловості.
Досліджено сучасні підходи провідних науковців до визначення та сутності поняття "результативність діяльності підприємства". Обґрунтовано характеристику результативності діяльності підприємств та визначено її взаємозв'язок з результатами реалізації конкурентних стратегій, що стало підґрунтям систематизації теоретико-методичних підходів при уточненні дефініції "результативність діяльності підприємства" в проекційному представлені, як основи для формування класифікації конкурентних стратегій залежно від очікуваної результативності. Здійснений аналіз конкурентної ситуації та результативності діяльності підприємств кондитерської промисловості показав наявність активної діяльності, направленої на підвищення результативності та прагнення до розробки нових дієвих конкурентних стратегій. Досліджено фактори та здійснено оцінку їх впливу на забезпечення досягнення результативності діяльності підприємств кондитерської промисловості. Виявлено, що фактори впливають різною мірою на різні проекції результативності. У зв’язку з тим, що оприлюднені КС не завжди відповідають фактичній поведінці підприємства на ринку, а також для визначення стратегій інших підприємств, розроблено методичне забезпечення до експрес-оцінки проекцій результативності діяльності підприємств. Визначено перелік та здійснено аналіз впливу факторів на загальну результативність діяльності промислового підприємства. Доведено, що кожен фактор впливає на різні проекції результативності. Побудовано матрицю впливу факторів на загальну результативність діяльності підприємств кондитерської промисловості вибіркової сукупності. Отримані результати досліджень стали підґрунтям розробки комплексного підходу до формування конкурентної стратегії, який базується на врахуванні рейтингу їх впливу. Визначено прогнозні рівні показників результативності підприємств ПрАТ "Кондитерська фабрика "Харків’янка" та ТОВ "ВКГ "Лісова казка" в результаті реалізації рекомендованих КС. The work is dedicated to the development and scientific substantiation of theoretical and scientific-methodical approaches to assessing the impact of competitive strategy on the performance of industrial enterprises. The conceptual apparatus content of the enterprise’s competitive strategy (CS) is investigated and the systematization of its types is carried out; the essence of the concept "the efficiency of the enterprise’s activity" is specified. Defining the conceptual apparatus content of the enterprise’s competitive strategy began with a preliminary definition of the categories such "strategy" and "competition", which are basic and fundamental for the disclosure of the research topic. Taking into account the generalization of existing approaches, it is proved that competitive strategy is one of the company's strategies, which is aimed at both competitors and consumers, and determines the type of behavior, compliance with which will help achieve strategic goals in a competitive market. The study of existing theoretical approaches to the essence of "performance" concept made it possible to clarify its complexity and versatility, and to identify three main areas of focus: to achieve the goal of functioning and its result; on the efficiency of activity; for further development. On the basis of approaches’ systematization "the efficiency of the enterprise’s activity" is offered to consider in projection representation. The study of the relationship between the content of the CS and the projections of effectiveness has led to the conclusion that the essence of some CSs is quite difficult to formalize, with some types of strategies generally aimed at obtaining comprehensive results. A more detailed description of the defined patterns of CS’s influence on the efficiency of the enterprise’s activity in accordance with the projections of effectiveness. The analysis of the competitive situation in the confectionery industry of Ukraine is carried out: the basic tendencies are investigated, their influence on efficiency of the domestic enterprises’ activity is defined, threats and possibilities of external environment’s influence for development of efficiency indicators are allocated. The published competitive strategies of the confectionery industry’s enterprises in Ukraine are investigated. Due to the fact that the published CSs do not always correspond to the actual behavior of the enterprise in the market, as well as to determine the strategies of other enterprises, it was developed methodological support for projections’ rapid assessment of the efficiency of the enterprise’s activity. The list is defined and the analysis of factors’ influence on the general efficiency of the industrial enterprise’s activity is carried out. It is proved that each factor affects different performance projections. A matrix of the factors’ influence on the overall efficiency of the confectionery industry’s enterprises of the sample is constructed. The obtained research results became the basis for the development of a comprehensive approach to the formation of competitive strategy, which is based on the rating of their impact. The forecast levels of the enterprises’ effectiveness indicators of PJSC "Kharkivyanka Confectionery Factory" and LLC "VKG "Lisova Kazka" as a result of the recommended CS’s implementation have been determined. The provisions developed in the paper are brought to the level of methodical approaches, and their practical implementation in the context of assessing the impact of competitive strategy on the efficiency of confectionery industry enterprises’ activity in the Kharkiv region proved their practical significance and feasibility of further use of the tools.

The analysis of the competitive situation in the confectionery industry of Ukraine is carried out: the basic tendencies are investigated, their influence on efficiency of the domestic enterprises’ activity is defined, threats and possibilities of external environment’s influence for development of efficiency indicators are allocated. The published competitive strategies of the confectionery industry’s enterprises in Ukraine are investigated. Due to the fact that the published CSs do not always correspond to the actual behavior of the enterprise in the market, as well as to determine the strategies of other enterprises, it was developed methodological support for projections’ rapid assessment of the efficiency of the enterprise’s activity. The list is defined and the analysis of factors’ influence on the general efficiency of the industrial enterprise’s activity is carried out. It is proved that each factor affects different performance projections. A matrix of the factors’ influence on the overall efficiency of the confectionery industry’s enterprises of the sample is constructed. The obtained research results became the basis for the development of a comprehensive approach to the formation of competitive strategy, which is based on the rating of their impact. The forecast levels of the enterprises’ effectiveness indicators of PJSC "Kharkivyanka Confectionery Factory" and LLC "VKG "Lisova Kazka" as a result of the recommended CS’s implementation have been determined. The provisions developed in the paper are brought to the level of methodical approaches, and their practical implementation in the context of assessing the impact of competitive strategy on the efficiency of confectionery industry enterprises’ activity in the Kharkiv region proved their practical significance and feasibility of further use of the tools.

One of the ways of enterprises activity ecologization is their wastewater treatment with the aim to decrease technogenic pressure on environment. Method of water treatment depends on its chemical content, conditions of its dumping to city drain system and so on. But the most natural and economically effective method of organic wastewater treatment is its biochemical aerobic or anaerobic treatment. Biological water treatment doesn’t need special chemical reagents, complicated mechanisms and big investments. And methane fermentation of organic wastes allows not only to reduce the level of water pollution, but also to receive the biogas that may be used for treatment process realization and also for other purposes.

Purpose – clarifying the current risks and organizational issues in start-up manufacturing enterprises in Latvia, to find out the impact of teamwork on work provision in Latvia start-up manufacturing enterprises. Research methodology – to achieve the purpose of this study, a survey of 55 start-up entrepreneurs from fifteen Business Incubators of Investment and Development Agency of Latvia in 2018 was undertaken by an online questionnaire. Findings – the results of the research have indicated that the lack of own team is one of the dominant start-up manufacturing enterprise work risks. Comparative analysis of data showed that mostly the entrepreneurs, who have started development of their business idea individually and whose enterprise’s work is basically based on a singledecision making, have encountered the issue. However, the research outcomes revealed that provision of start-up manufacturing enterprise work outcomes is related to the teamwork factor – both belief in joint work, common understanding about the expected outcomes, mutual trust and support. Research limitations – direct start-up enterprises, which have registered their activity in one of the sub-sectors of the NACE (Rev. 2) Group C “Manufacturing Industry” and receive the support provided by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia Business Incubator for their start-up activity in Latvia, without exceeding a 4-year incubation period, have been chosen for the research. Practical implications – the research outcomes point to the need of Business Incubators of Investment and Development of Latvia to provide not only tangible opportunities for start-up manufacturing enterprises for the business idea development during the incubation period, but also practical knowledge on team building during the business start-up process. Originality/Value – Unlike other studies that are mostly focused on hard benefits in enterprises, as well as in start-ups, this is a specific research which provides insights on whether teamwork is recognized as an important factor of startup manufacturing companie work provision in relation to technological and external risks during the business start-up process and its work result achievement

A necessary basis for the functioning, development and achievement of the goals of agricultural corporations in today's crisis environment is the providing of financial stability, the role of which is particularly growing in today's challenging environment. The regular changes of external and internal factors influencing the functioning of economic entities actualize the need to study the components of this category to ensure the ability of the enterprise to adapt while maintaining its integrity. The purpose of the article is to substantiate theoretical provisions and develop recommendations for ensuring the adequacy and systematic process of evaluating the financial stability of agricultural corporations based on the analysis of financial ratios. The object of the study is the process of assessing the financial stability of enterprises. The methodological basis of the article is general scientific and special methods of research, which are based on modern scientific concepts of management, economic and related sciences. The following methods were used in the study: monographic (comparing and detailing the data of financial stability analysis of agrarian corporations); abstract-logical (used to formulate theoretical generalizations and conclusions). Based on the works of scientists, it is established that the formation of financial stability of agricultural corporations should be based on a comprehensive study of the conditions for its provision, must take into account the features of financial development and the state of agricultural enterprises. A comprehensive study of such issues will solve the problem of financial stability on the basis of organizational support of its management system. The relevance of the assessment of the state of financial stability management in agricultural enterprises is determined, the holding of which is of particular importance due to the possibility of making managerial strategic decisions to improve the management of financial stability. The article analyszes the financial stability of agricultural corporations. It is substantiated that the unstable financial condition of some agrarian corporations is a consequence of the lack of organization of management of specific subsystems of their economic activity. Throughout the life cycle, enterprises are accompanied by situations that may cause undesirable changes to their financial stability. Therefore, we consider it necessary to implement financial stability management at all stages of the company's life cycle by systematically monitoring the relevant ratios. The practical significance of the results obtained is determined by the fact that conclusions and suggestions can be used for more objective decision-making, which based on the analysis of financial ratios, and in turn can be the basis for making optimal financial decisions. This material can be used to make strategic management decisions by agro-holding managers.

The article considers the results of an empirical study of the characteristics of the adaptation of subjects to a situation of a change in the type of professional activity. The respondents were students of the postgraduate programs (qualification master) and undergraduate programs (qualification bachelor), students of the professional retraining program, employment service clients. Adaptation is considered as a permanently running process, which has its own dynamics, substantial and other features. With the help of the construction of neural network models, it was found that in the process of adapting to the situation of changing types of professional activity, people show general individual and personal properties. Its made it possible to identify five psychological types of subjects that have different opportunities for successful adaptation to new conditions of activity.Successful adaptation to a situation of changing professional activity is more likely for psychological types that have resistance to difficulties, a developed regulatory sphere, and labor motivation for achievements. It determined that in relation to the representatives of different psychological types require different methods of psychological, social, tutor support during their preparation for the change of the type of professional activity. The results can be demanded in the practice of employment services, personnel services of enterprises, in the educational process for the training of specialists.

For the state, the promotion of innovation is a priority in the economic policy sector, since it is the level of scientific and technological development that largely determines the long-term strategic advantages of the country, and the prospects for the development of the state largely dependent on the level of innovation development. For a long time, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation has been implementing the Strategy for Innovative Development of the Russian Federation. It includes 20 key steps and is developed based on the provisions of the concept of long-term development of the Russian Federation. The main results should have been, firstly, an increase in spending on science and innovation, and secondly, an increase in the share of industrial enterprises that introduce innovations in production. It was assumed that their share will increase by 4-5 times by 2020, compared with 2010 year. Not everything has been achieved, and there is a lot to strive for. This study is devoted to the driver of scientific and technological progress - the chemical complex of Russia. The chemical complex plays a significant role in the implementation of the most important socio-economic programs of the country. The Israeli lab hat additionally completed experiments of previous studies regarding factors affecting the efficiency of recombinase activity using both a gain-of-function assay (excisional-activation of a gusA marker) and loss of function assay (excision of a rolC marker) in tobacco. Site-specific recombinase systems, in particular the FLP/frt and R/RS systems of yeast and the Cre/lox system of bacteriophage P1, have become an essential component of targeted genetic transformation procedures both in animal and plant organisms. To provide more flexibility in transgene excisions by the recombinase systems as well as gene targeting, and to widen possible applications, the development of controlled or regulated recombination systems is highly desirable and was therefore the subject of this research proposal. There are a few possible mechanisms to regulate expression of a recombinase system. They include: 1) control of the recombination system by having the target sites (e.g. frt) in one plant and the flp recombinase gene in another, and bringing the two together by cross fertilization. 2) regulation of promoter activities by external stimuli such as temperature, chemicals, metal ions, etc. 3) regulation of promoter activities by internal signals, i.e. cell- or tissue-specific, or developmental regulation. 4) regulation of enzyme activity by providing cofactors essential for biochemical reactions to take place such as steroid molecules in conjunction with a steroid ligand-binding protein (domains). During the course of this research our major emphasis have been focused toward studying the feasibility of hybrid seed production in Arabidopsis, using FLP/frt. Male-sterility was induced using the antisence of a pollen- and tapetum-specific gene, bcp1, isolated from Arabidopsis. The sterility inducing gene was flanked by frt sites. Upon cross pollination of flowers of male-sterile plants with pollen from FLP-containing plants, viable seeds were produced, and the progeny hybrid plants developed normally. The major achievement from this work is the first demonstration of using a site-specific recombinase to restore fertility in male-sterile plants (see attached paper, Luo et al., Plant J 2000; 23:423-430). The implication from this finding is that site-specific recombination systems can be applied in crop plants as a useful alternative method for hybrid seed production.
