Many researches on linguistics either traditional or functional linguistics have been conducted in both pure linguistics and applied one. Included into the applied one, this research aims to describe Psychological Subject (PS) in the news headlines of university websites in Indonesia beside the meta description that influences the reader to click the website. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis by using data from the news headlines of 5 (five) university websites in Indonesia. The results of this research show that the elements of PS in the news headlines are the name or identity of universities, the elements of university, the activities conducted in the universities, and the other parties which conduct activities in or together with the universities. These PSs become significant since they are important factors of headlines of the news which increase the accesability of the university websites. In order to improve the accessability of the university websites, the appropriate PS should be selected to fill the headlines of the news.

ABSTRAK Efektifitas pelatihan dapat dinilai melalui evaluasi pasca pelatihan dengan menilai perilaku dan kompetensi hasil pelatihan. Rumah Sakit X dalam menilai efektifitas pelatihan didapatkan gap kecenderungan evaluator saat mengevaluasi alumni peserta latih memberikan nilai yang sama. Tingkat kesamaan dalam pemberian nilai kepada alumni peserta latih sebesar 85,53%. Hal tersebut berdampak bias terhadap hasil evaluasi efektifitas pelatihan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis faktor penyebab utama, serta mencari alternatif solusi terhadap gap yang terjadi. Metode penelitian secara deskriptif dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara dan telaah dokumen, terhadap proses pelaksanaan dan hasil evaluasi efektifitas pelatihan. Ditindaklanjuti dengan melakukan focus group discussion untuk mengidentifikasi masalah. Beberapa masalah yang didapat diprioritaskan menggunakan metode USG (urgency seriouseness and growth). Hasil prioritas masalah dicari penyebab akar masalahnya menggunakan diagram fishbone. Penyebab utamanya adalah belum adanya sistem dalam melakukan evaluasi pasca pelatihan. Penentuan Solusi menggunakan metode CARL (capability accesability readiness leverage) yaitu membuat pedoman evaluasi pasca pelatihan. Mengatur tentang: kriteria evaluator, tugas dan tanggung jawab evaluator, indikator evaluasi pasca pelatihan, instrumen evaluasi pasca pelatihan, pelaporan hasil dan rekomendasi evaluasi pasca pelatihan. Post –Training Evaluation In X Hospital Malang Abstract The effectiveness of the training will be able to be assessed through post training evaluation by assessing the behavior and competency the outcomes of the training. In X Hospital, in assessing the effectiveness of the training was found that the evaluator's tendency when evaluating the trainee alumni to give the same value to almost all participants who was being evaluated.The level of similarity in the value of trainees' alumni amounted to 85,53%, it has a biased impact on the evaluation of the effectiveness of the training.This study aims to determine and analyze the main causal factors, as well as looking for the alternative solutions to the gap occurred. The research method is descriptive by doing observation, interviews and documents review of the implementation process and evaluation results of the effectiveness of the training. Followed up by focus group discussions to identify the problem. Some problems are found prioritized using USG (urgency seriouseness and growth) method. Result of priority problem search for based on the results of identification of the root cause of the problem by using the fishbone diagram. The main cause is there is not of the system in conducting post training evaluation yet. The solutions using the CARL (capability accesability readiness leverage) method, by making the recommendations of graduate training, in which compose about: criteria evaluator, task and responsibility of the evaluator, post-training evaluation indicators. The study proposes a framework to model the three-dimensional relationship among density, land use, and accessibility in urban areas constructively contributing to overcome the limitations noted in the domains of urban planning and transport planning. First, most of the existing studies have focused on the topological characteristics in capturing the accessibility, but a limited attention has been given on measuring the accessibility by considering both topological and roadway characteristics. Second, the existing research studies have acknowledged the relationship among density, land use, and accessibility while a limited attention has been given to develop a modeling framework to capture the three-dimensional relationship. The modelling framework was tested in three urban areas in Sri Lanka. The research first analyzed the three-dimensional link among density, land use, and accessibility in the case studies. Then, the study developed a set of regression models to capture the density from the land use and accesability. The proposed model recorded a satisfactory level of accuracy (i.e., R2 > 0.70) on a par with internationally accepted standards. The relationship was further elaborated through a decision tree analysis and 4D plot diagrams. Findings of the study can be utilized to model the density of a given land use and the correspondent accessibility scenarios. The proposed model is capable of quantifying the impact of the changes in the density correspondent to the accessibility and land use. Therefore, the study concludes that this will be an effective tool for decision-makers in the fields of land-use planning and transport planning for scenario building, impact analysis, and the formulation of land use zoning and urban development plans aiming at the overarching sustainability of future cities.

The research investigate whether non-financial firms listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange made capital structure adjustment towards optimal capital structure and the determinants of adjustment speed in context of trade-off theory for 2009-2014 period. Existence of tax benefit that generates by debt interest payment causing firms arranged their capital structure in order to maximize debt utilizing. Debt utilizing would be make default problem and bankruptcy if it excess firm’s capacity that determine by some firm’s characteristic. Because of optimal capital structure unobservable, so they will be estimate by using some variable which are influencing in capital structure arrangement such tangibility. profitability, size and growth opportunities. The results indicate that non-financial firms in Indonesia follows dynamic trade-off theory with make capital structure adjustment towards optimal capital structure but still underleveraged and need 2,45 years to adjust their capital structure. Distance between actual capital structure and optimal capital structure and financial surplus/deficit are influenced speed of adjustments, while current liabilities is not influenced speed of adjustment. Thus, the practical implication is the companies must be consider and compare their actual capital structure and their optimal capital structure in order to get the benefit from the adjustment by not adding the posibility of bankruptcy due to these adjustment. Capital structure decision also related with various external policy, for instance, accesability to external funding such as creditors, investor and government which influence their adjustment. This research has some limitation, proxies are used in determining the target leverage was only four variables and this study did not addres macroeconomic variables that may affect the adjustment and adjustment speed.

In the dissertation the Denial of Service (DoS) attacks and their models are investigated. DoS attack is a type of cyber attacks when an attacker tries to deny a service in the network machine. There are many types of DoS attacks, and therefore the main object of the dissertation is specified as distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks. DDoS uses multiple agents at the same time to exhaust certain resources of network machine and make it unavailable. The importance of DDoS attacks can be explained on the basis of the following facts: nowadays there are no countermeasures which can ensure full resistance to DDoS; DoS effect can be created even by legitimate users of the systems; internet services become more popular therefore the denial of such a service or diminishing of its quality can cause undesired impact on the other systems or their users. The main objective of this dissertation is creation of model for the estimation of the composite DDoS attack success. This model would allow estimating of network machine resistance to different type and power DDoS attacks. The dissertation consists of eight parts including Introduction, 5 chapters, Conclusions and References. Disertacijoje nagrinėjamos internetinės paslaugos sutrikdymo (angl. DoS – Denial of Service) atakos ir jų modeliavimo priemonės. Tai kibernetinių atakų tipas, kurių metu siekiama tam tikro tinkle veikiančio mazgo teikiamas paslaugas padaryti neprieinamas jų teisėtiems klientams. DoS atakos gali turėti daug skirtingų tipų, todėl šio darbo pagrindinis tyrimų objektas yra srautinė internetinės paslaugos sutrikdymo (angl. DDoS – Distributed Denial of Service) ataka, kuri paslaugos sutrikdymo siekia naudodama bent kelis atakuojančiuosius kompiuterius vienu metu ir kuri siekia išnaudoti visus pasirinkto tipo resursus tą paslaugą teikiančiame mazge. During the last decades, the use of virtural environments and platforms to leverage the learning-teaching processes has increased enormously. However, there exists few virtual initiatives to discuss and promote good practices on these environtments. This paper presents the initiative Virtual USATIC (Ubicuo y Social: Aprendizaje con TIC), a conference with a totally virtual format, whose main goal is to provide a virtual environment where people involved in higher education (students, professors, etc.) can share and discuss their experiences about the use of Information and Communication Technologies in learning processes. Moreover, the conference also promotes the participation of the attendants to on-line tutorials, courses and virtual training workshops on specific topics (Digital Right Managements of material, Accesability and Usuability of materials, etc.) where all participants can learn and experience on issues related to the conference. This iniciative started on June 2013 and has been repeated every year since then. So, different parameters to evaluate its evolution and success are described along this paper.
