Abstract:
Purpose: To investigate the thickness of the nerve fiber layer-ganglion cell inner plexiform layer (NFL-GCIPL) complex and microvascular macular changes in Korean patients with early Parkinson’s disease using optical coherence tomography (OCT) and OCT angiography (OCTA).Methods: Forty-three eyes of 22 patients with early Parkinson’s disease were included. A control group of 20 patients (40 eyes) was also recruited. The thickness of the NFL-GCIPL macular complex was measured using OCT, and the densities of the superficial and deep macular retinal vessels were evaluated via OCTA in all subjects.Results: The NFL-GCIPL thicknesses of the superior, inferior, temporal, and nasal sectors were 94.70 ± 9.35, 93.32 ± 9.16, 90.18 ± 6.32, and 93.11 ± 8.75 μm in the control group and 92.05 ± 4.96, 91.32 ± 7.48, 84.74 ± 6.82, and 91.32 ± 7.47 μm in the Parkinson’s disease group, respectively; all thicknesses were significantly greater in the control group. The superficial and deep retinal vessel densities did not differ between the two groups.Conclusions: Neurodegenerative macular changes are more obvious than microvascular changes in patients with early Parkinson’s disease. Such neurodegenerative changes should be further evaluated in future cohort studies.

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar validasi. Penelitian ini mengacu pada model pengembangan Dick and Carey. Validasi dilakukan berdasarkan syarat LKS yang baik serta sesuai dengan karakterisik concept attainment model. Berdasarkan hasil validasi pakar yang telah dilakukan diperoleh skor validitas sebesar 91,32%.

The concept of a general economic equilibrium based on balance of supply and demand has played a central role in theoretical economics since very beginning. Abstract:
Abstract. It is of great significance to reveal the mechanism of land subsidence to further find out the mechanism of leakage flow in multi-layer aquifer systems and the water-release compression of weak aquifers. In this paper, conditions of groundwater leakage flow are expounded, and the initial hydraulic gradient calculation formula in the aquitards are deduced. The data of Tianzhu Land Subsidence Monitoring Station are selected to preliminarily discuss the leakage flow mechanism of the multi-layer groundwater system and water-release compression of weak aquifers. The results show that, firstly the weak aquifer layers in the shallow strata above 91.32 m in Tianzhu Land Subsidence Station are all in the state of unidirectional drainage consolidation, and the water heads in the upper strata are higher than those in the lower strata. However, the hydraulic gradient between the two adjacent aquifers is smaller than the initial hydraulic gradient in the weak aquifer layer, so no leakage recharge effect is generated. Secondly, the water level of the two adjacent aquifers in the deep formation below 91.32 m shows a continuous downward trend, among which the weak aquifer is drained and consolidated on both sides, and the pore water head in the middle of the weak aquifer is the lowest. Although the strata has a large amount of compression, no leakage recharge phenomenon occurs. Thirdly, in a multi-layer aquifer system, when the head difference between adjacent aquifers is small and there is a thick viscous layer between them, it is difficult for the upper aquifer to overcome the shear strength of the bound water in the weak aquifer below, leaking recharge barely occurs.

Abstract:
This study aimed to determine the method of making ‘Mocaf’ (Modified Cassava Flour) flour that was in accordance the quality standards (SNI 01-2997-1992). This study used a Randomized Block Design consisting of one factor, namely was the flouring methos consisting of four treatments: namely drying, water immersion, lime water immersion, and curing. The data were statistically tested using the analysis of variance according to the design used, followed by the Honestly Significant Difference test. Based on the research results, the best treatment of this research was lime water immersion treatment, which produced ash content of 0.74%, carbohydrate content 82.68%, HCN content 0.05% and whiteness 91.32%.

In the title compound, [Tm(C6H5Se)3(C4H8O)3], the TmIIIatom lies on a threefold rotation axis and is coordinated by three phenylselenolate ligands and three tetrahydrofuran ligands leading to a distortedfac-octahedral coordination environment. The Tm—Se and Tm—O bond lengths are 2.7692 (17) and 2.345 (10) Å, respectively, and the bond angles are 91.32 (6)° for Se—Tm—Se, 92.6 (2) and 94.4 (2)° for Se—Tm—O, and 81.2 (3)° for O—Tm—O. In the crystal, the discrete complexes are linked by van der Waals interactions only. The crystal was refined as a non-merohedral twin (ratio = 0.65:0.35).

Abstract:
Aluminum dross is solid waste produced by the aluminum industry. It has certain toxicity and needs to be treated innocuously. The effect of sodium carbonate and calcium oxide on the denitrification efficiency of high nitrogen aluminum dross roasting was studied in this paper. By means of XRD, SEM and other characterization methods, the optimum technological parameters for calcination denitrification of the two additives were explored. The test results show that both additives can effectively improve the efficiency of aluminum dross roasting denitrification, and the effect of sodium carbonate is better. When the mass ratio of sodium carbonate to aluminum dross is 0.6, the roasting temperature is 1000 °C and the roasting time is 4 h, the denitrification rate can reach 91.32%.

This study examines the theme of cultural navigation and the sense of belonging in Jhumpa Lahiri's novel The Namesake and Rohinton Mistry's A Fine Balance. Focusing on the Indian diaspora, the study meticulously explores the multifaceted dimensions of subalternity embedded in the characters' experiences of cultural displacement, identity negotiation, and socio-economic adversities. This research paper aims to elucidate the complex dynamics of belonging in a diverse and interconnected global community by conducting a comparative analysis of the many ways in which these narratives portray the journeys of people bridging many cultures. In navigating the complex fabric of two separate cultures, this paper explores the challenges, triumphs, and transformations of the protagonists. It investigates the literary techniques employed by Lahiri and Mistry to portray the psychological and emotional aspects of cultural adaptation, illuminating the characters' changing self-perceptions. It also examines how society and family dynamics shape the identities of the characters, highlighting the conflict between the desire for integration and clinging to one's traditional origins. Through a thematic analysis, this study seeks to uncover the authors' perspectives on cultural hybridity, shedding light on the broader implications for individuals striving to reconcile their heritage with the demands of contemporary life. Abstract:
The Oxford English Dictionary defines cancel culture as «the action or practice of publicly boycotting, ostracizing, or withdrawing support from a person, institution, etc., thought to be promoting culturally unacceptable ideas». Though accurate, this definition is incomplete since cancel culture goes way beyond boycotting or ostracizing. It includes a wide spectrum of sanctions, spanning from public naming and shaming, censorship and job loss to intimidation and outright attacks in the form of verbal and physical abuse. This article discusses the mechanisms and negative impacts of cancel culture in academia by focusing on the case of Laura Favaro, who was ‘cancelled’ after publishing an article on the findings of her research on academia's ‘gender wars’. The concerted attempts to silence certain – particularly feminist – perspectives on sex and gender have severe and wide-ranging implications for researchers and the scholarly endeavour as a whole, contributing to the toxic atmosphere created by the neoliberalisation of university.

Abstract:
The separation of fine coal can be improved by pre-desliming, which was significantly enhanced when fine coal was processed using a Falcon concentrator, and <45-μm coal slime was removed. Ultrafine classification tests using Krebs classification cyclone with annular rinse water showed that the increase in feeding concentration negatively affected the efficiency of classification while increasing the classification size because the settling was hindered by the high underflow concentrations. The optimization experiments with response indicators of classification efficiency based on orthogonal design using Design-Expert software indicated that the optimal classification efficiency reached 91.32% with a feeding pressure of 0.03 MPa, a rinse water pressure of 0.02 MPa, and a feeding concentration of 12.5%. Meanwhile, the classification size was 49.99 μm, which agreed well with the predicted value.

Abstract:
Recent research has shown machine learnings outstanding performance on image classifying tasks, including applications on Magnetic Resonance Images. While the former models are overly complicated, this paper proposes a simplified model, which is proven to be both accurate and much less time-consuming. Our proposed method is learned from former research and combines Bias Field Correction, DenseNet, and SE-Net to form a concise structure. With small datasets of T1-weighted and T2-weighted labeled MR brain tumor images, our model spent a short training time of 2 hours and showed excellent performance on classifying pituitary, meningioma, glioma or no tumor with an accuracy of 91.32%. After evaluation, our model is proven to be accurate in distinguishing between 3 of the tumor types with an f1-score of 0.96.

Abstract:
The learning model is an example for optimizing the teaching and learning process in the classroom, this study aims to determine the portfolio-based Project citizen learning model to strengthen the social competence of educators towards society 5.0. in the fourth-grade elementary school in Banda Aceh City. This research uses this research method, namely Research and development in the field of education (R & D) procedures and research steps for developing modifications of Borg & Gall, namely: (1) developing products, and (2) testing the effectiveness of products in achieving goals. This study focuses on testing the effectiveness of the learning model from the experimental and control class students' learning outcomes. The results of the study show that the test of the effectiveness of the use of the learning model is 85.00%, without the media is 75.90%. This is indicated by the results of the data tscore = 13.08, t table 0.05(2.49) = 1.67 then tscore (13.08) > ttable (1.67) for the significance level (α = 0.05) or with in other words, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The test proves that the use of the Project citizen portfolio-based learning model to strengthen the social competence of educators towards society 5.0. more effective in improving student learning outcomes. The results showed: (1) the Thematic learning material expert test was in very good qualification (88.00%), (2) the learning design expert test was in very good qualification (87.76%), (3) the model expert test and learning graphics are in very good qualification (92.06%), (4) individual trials are in very good qualifications (89.88%), group trials are in very good qualifications (91.32%), field trials are in in very good qualification (89.96%). The product produced at the end of the development of this learning model is a portfolio-based project citizen to strengthen the social competence of educators towards society 5.0. followed by an effectiveness test. Abstrak Model Pembelajaran merupakan sebuah contoh untuk mengoptimalkan proses belajar mengajar dikelas, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model pembelajaran Project citizen berbasis portofolio untuk menguatkan kompetensi sosial pendidik untuk menuju society 5.0. di sekolah dasar Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian ini adalah Riset dan pengembangan bidang pendidikan (R & D) prosedur dan Langkah- langkah penelitian pengembangan modifikasi Borg & Gall yaitu: (1) mengembangkan produk, dan (2) menguji keefektifan produk dalam mencapai tujuan. Penelitian ini fokus pada uji kefektifan model pembelajaran dari hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa uji efektifitas penggunaan model pembelajaran sebesar 85,00 %, tanpa media yaitu 75,90%. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil data thit = 13,08, ttabel0,05(2,49) = 1,67 maka th (13,08) > tt (1,67) untuk taraf signifikansi (α=0,05) atau dengan kata lain Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Dari uji membuktikan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Project citizen berbasis portofolio untuk menguatkan kompetensi sosial pendidik untuk menuju society 5.0. lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. AbstractUnripe cardaba banana and plantain slices were processed into flour. The effects of treatment (blanching/unblanched) and drying method (sun, 50ºC and 70ºC) were recorded. The antioxidant properties of the flour samples, sensory evaluation and minerals content were all determined. DPPH, TPC, FRAP and Metal chelating abilities were higher in cardaba flour (89.77 to 99.18%, 15.00 to 46.00 μgGAE/100g, 0.28 to 0.69 AAEμg/g and 38.90 to 96.53%) than in plantain (91.32 to 98.17%, 10.00 to 34.00 μgGAE/100g, 0.28 to 0.52 AAEμg/g and 33.71 to 94.98%) samples. Calcium, zinc and phosphorus were lower in cardaba banana flour compared to plantain flour. In overall acceptability, amala (a traditional South-western Nigerian meal) from blanched and unblanched cardaba banana flour was preferred to amala from blanched and unblanched plantain flour. Amala from oven-dried samples was considered better than sun-dried samples.

Kebakaran hutan dan lahan di Indonesia telah menjadi masalah krisis lingkungan tahunan. Sebaran kebakaran hutan terbesar terjadi dipulau Sumatera. Salah satu upaya tindakan dalam pencegahan dan meminimalisasikan resiko kebakaran hutan adalah dengan mengklasifikasikan jenis titik panas di lahan, sehingga di dapat skala prioritas dalam pemadaman titik api. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengklasifikasikan type titik panas dengan metode XGBoost dan feature importance yang terdapat di pulau Sumatera. Data titik panas diperoleh dari Globalforestwatch.com. Proses mengurangi variabel dari data yang diperoleh menghasil dampak yang sangat signifikan pada model klasifikasi. Terapat enam dan atau tujuh variabel yang sangat berpengaruh dalam menentukan titik panas, variabel tersebut jugalah yang menghasilkan model klasfikasi terbaik. XGBoost dan feature importance menghasilkan akurasi sebesar 89.52%. Sensitivity (SE), Specificity (SP), dan Matthews Correlation Coefficient (MCC).secara berturut turut 91.32 %, 93.16 % dan 92.75 %. Metode ini juga lebih baik dibandingkan dengan hasil penelitian sebelumnya.

Tujuan penelitian secara khusus untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) validitas produk, dan (2) kepraktisan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Subjek uji coba penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X IPA2 SMAS Katolik Warta Bakti Kefamenanu. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi ahli media, ahli materi dan respon peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) validitas media diperoleh presentase 93.17% dengan kategori sangat valid, (2) validitas materi diperoleh presentase 95.32 % dengan kategori sangat valid, dan (3) kepraktisan LKPD dari uji coba kelompok kecil diperoleh presentase 91.32% dengan kategori sangat praktis dan uji coba kelompok besar diperoleh presentase 97.94% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pengembangan LKPD berbasis HOTS pada materi Impuls dan Momentum sangat layak dugunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract:
Taking high nitrogen aluminum dross as the research object, the effects of the additives sodium carbonate and cryolite and the roasting process on the denitrification effect of aluminum dross were studied. The principle of additive denitrification was studied by XRD, SEM and TG-DSC. The experimental results show that sodium carbonate and cryolite can quickly reduce the content of aluminum nitride in aluminum dross. The optimum denitrification process parameters were also obtained simultaneously. When the mass ratio of cryolite to aluminum dross was 0.4, the roasting temperature was 900 °C, and the roasting time was 3 h, the denitrification degree could reach 96.19%. When the mass ratio of sodium carbonate to aluminum dross was 0.8, the roasting temperature was 1000 °C, and the roasting time was 4 h, the denitrification degree could reach 91.32%. This study provides a reference for the non-harmful treatment of high nitrogen aluminum dross.

Dalam penelitian terhadap layanan web service ini, metode yang digunakan untuk membangun webiste perhotelan Lombok yaitu SOAP dan mengimplementasikan sistem database terdistribusi yang menghubungkan DBMS yang bertipe sama, kompatibel, struktur dan deskripsi datanya sama. Untuk mengetahui sistem berhasil diimplementasikan, maka dilakukan pengujian terhadap sistem dengan menggunakan metode black box. Selain itu dilakukan pengujian kuisioner kepada 30 mahasiswa sebagai responden. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini akan dilakuakan perhitungan nilai MOS (Mean Opini Score), sehingga memperoleh nilai rata-rata MOS yaitu 91,32 %. Hasil pengujian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi perhotelan Lombok berbasis web service yang telah diimplementasikan merupakan sistem yang baik dan mudah dimengerti oleh pengguna. Abstract:
In this work, the widely-abundant, cheap, wild plant Lavandula pubescens Decne was evaluated as an adsorbent for removing Pb(II) ions from wastewater. The chemical composition of the plant was partially isolated and characterized by the corresponding techniques, including gas chromatography–mass spectrometry, gas liquid chromatography, and FTIR spectroscopy. The adsorption capacity of the dried plant material for Pb(II) ions increased with increasing contact time, initial ion concentration, and temperature, while it decreased with increasing adsorbent dosage. The optimum condition for Pb(II) adsorption was determined as 550 mg/L initial metal concentration, pH ≤ 7, and 90 min of contact. The best fit for Pb(II) adsorption isotherms was the linear form of the Freundlich model; however, the maximum capacity indicated by Langmuir was 91.32 mg/g. The experimental data fit better the pseudo-second-order kinetic model (R2 = 0.969), suggesting chemisorption process. Thermodynamic data revealed an endothermic, nonspontaneous, and adsorption process favored at higher concentrations.

Abstract:
Abstract Clothing image in the e-commerce industry plays an important role in providing customers with information. This paper divides clothing images into two groups: pure clothing images and dressed clothing images. Targeting small and medium-sized clothing companies or merchants, it compares traditional machine learning and deep learning models to determine suitable models for each group. For pure clothing images, the HOG+SVM algorithm with the Gaussian kernel function obtains the highest classification accuracy of 91.32% as compared to the Small VGG network. For dressed clothing images, the CNN model obtains a higher accuracy than the HOG+SVM algorithm, with the highest accuracy rate of 69.78% for the Small VGG network. Therefore, for end-users with only ordinary computing processors, it is recommended to apply the traditional machine learning algorithm HOG+SVM to classify pure clothing images. The classification of dressed clothing images is performed using a more efficient and less computationally intensive lightweight model, such as the Small VGG network.

Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang menerapkan model pengembangan 4-D (define, design, develop, disseminate). Instrumen pengumpulan data yang dipakai pada penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi silabus, RPP dan LAS serta menggunakan angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian pengembangan ini memperlihatkan bahwa silabus dan RPP yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria sangat valid diperoleh rata-rata silabus 91,32% dan RPP 89,21%. Sementara LAS yang dikembangkan valid dengan rata-rata LAS 79,40%. Selain itu, LAS memiliki kriteria sangat praktis diperoleh rata-rata LAS 94,90%.

AbstractEssential oils (EOs) from the seed of Michelia tonkinensis were extracted in four ways hydrodistillation (HD), microwave‐assisted hydrodistillation (MHD), ultrasound‐assisted hydrodistillation (UHD) and enzyme‐assisted hydrodistillation (EHD). The chemical constituents of these EOs were analysed by gas chromatography (GC‐FID) and gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS). Phenylpropanoids were the main components in which safrole is the dominant constituent (82.98‐91.53%), followed by monoterpene hydrocarbons (5.26‐11.94%). In comparison with traditional hydrodistillation method (HD only), the EOs obtained from the MHD, UHD and EHD methods have the higher safrole contents (91.32%, 90.96% and 90.25%, respectively). The essential oils were also tested for their antioxidant, anti‐imflammatory, antimicrobial and cytotoxic activities. The HD essential oil sample showed inhibitory activity against 6/8 tested microorganisms, i.e., Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtillis, Candida albicans, and Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The MHD and EHD exhibited the inhibitory activity against three strains E. coli, A. niger and F. oxysporum. The UHD inhibited E. coli and F. oxysporum.

The campus introduction process is a stage where new students acquire information about the campus through a series of activities and interactions with existing students. However, the delivery of campus introduction information is still limited to conventional methods, such as using guidebooks. This limitation can result in students having a limited understanding of the information needed during their academic period. The one of solution for this case is to implement a deep learning system with knowledge-based foundations. This research aims to develop a Question Answering System (QAS) as a campus introduction guide by comparing two transformer methods, namely the RoBERTa and IndoBERT architectures. The dataset used is processed in the SQuAD format in the Indonesian language. The collected SQuAD dataset in the Indonesian language consists of 5046 annotated data. The result shows that IndoBERT outperforms RoBERTa with EM and F1-Score values of 81.17 and 91.32, respectively, surpassing RoBERTa with EM and F1-Score values of 79.53 and 90.18.

Arrhythmia classification is a prominent research problem due to the computational complexities of learning the morphology of various ECG patterns and its wide prevalence in the medical field, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. In this article, we used Empirical Mode Decomposition and Discrete Wavelet Transform for preprocessing and then the modified signal is classified using various classifiers such as Decision Tree, Logistic Regression, Gaussian Naïve Bayes, Random Forest, Linear SVM, Polynomial SVM, RBF SVM, Sigmoid SVM and Convolutional Neural Networks. The proposed method classify the data into five classes N (Normal), S (Supraventricular premature) beat, (V) Premature ventricular contraction, F (Fusion of ventricular and normal), and Q, (Unclassifiable Beat) using softmax regressor at the end of the network. The proposed approach performs well in terms of classification accuracy when tested using ECG signals acquired from the MIT-BIH database. In comparison to existing classifiers, the Accuracy, Precision, Recall, and F1 score values of the proposed technique are 98.5%, 96.9%, 94.3%, and 91.32%, respectively.

The horticulturally important genus Zantedeschia (Araceae) comprises eight species of herbaceous perennials. We sequenced, assembled and analyzed the chloroplast (cp) genomes of four species of Zantedeschia (Z. aethiopica, Z. odorata, Z. elliottiana, and Z. rehmannii) to investigate the structure of the cp genome in the genus. According to our results, the cp genome of Zantedeschia ranges in size from 169,065 bp (Z. aethiopica) to 175,906 bp (Z. elliottiana). We identified a total of 112 unique genes, including 78 protein-coding genes, 30 transfer RNA (tRNA) genes and four ribosomal RNA (rRNA) genes. Comparison of our results with cp genomes from other species in the Araceae suggests that the relatively large sizes of the Zantedeschia cp genomes may result from inverted repeats (IR) region expansion. The sampled Zantedeschia species formed a monophylogenetic clade in our phylogenetic analysis. Furthermore, the long single copy (LSC) and short single copy (SSC) regions in Zantedeschia are more divergent than the IR regions in the same genus, and non-coding regions showed generally higher divergence than coding regions. We identified a total of 410 cpSSR sites from the four Zantedeschia species studied. Genetic diversity analyses based on four polymorphic SSR markers from 134 cultivars of Zantedeschia suggested that high genetic diversity (I = 0.934; Ne = 2.371) is present in the Zantedeschia cultivars. High genetic polymorphism from the cpSSR region suggests that cpSSR could be an effective tool for genetic diversity assessment and identification of Zantedeschia varieties.

Abstract:
Colorectal cancer is one of the deadliest and most widespread types of cancer in the world. Colonoscopy is the procedure used to detect and diagnose polyps from the colon, but today's detection rate shows a significant error rate that affects diagnosis and treatment. An automatic image segmentation algorithm may help doctors to improve the detection rate of pathological polyps in the colon. Furthermore, segmenting endoscopic tools in images taken during colonoscopy may contribute towards robotic assisted surgery. In this study, we trained and validated both pre-trained and not pre-trained segmentation models on two different data sets, containing images of polyps and endoscopic tools. Finally, we applied the models on two separate test sets and the best polyp model got a dice score 0.857 and the test instrument model got a dice score 0.948. Moreover, we found that pre-training of the models increased the performance in segmenting polyps and endoscopic tools.
