Abstract:
This study is focused on the problem that with the increase of coal seam mining depth, it is difficult to continuously replace mining due to complex roadway layout and unreasonable stope layout. By taking the mining geological conditions of the 62210 fully mechanized mining face of Xinzhuangzi Coal Mine in Huainan mining area, China, as the background, it explores the stress characteristics of the original roadway filling body as well as the stress distribution and deformation characteristics of roadway surrounding rock in original roadway filling and nonpillar tunneling (ORFNPT) through theoretical analysis and numerical simulation. The following findings are obtained. The required strength for the filling body is primarily determined by two factors, i.e., the span of the hanging roof that lies over the filling body and the width of the filling body. The span of the hanging roof is positively correlated with the required strength of the filling body. However, when the width of the filling body reaches a certain value, its further increase fails to change the required strength of the filling body. Compared with gob-side entry driving with small coal pillars, when the ORFNPT technology is applied to the lower-section roadway, the peak stress position in the solid coal on the lower side of the roadway is closer to the roadway sides, and the filling body is of a much higher stress than the small coal pillars. Besides, the roadway surrounding rock undergoes milder deformation. According to the on-site application and measurement data, the roof-to-floor convergence and side-to-side displacement amounts of the roadway are about 89 mm and 58 mm during tunneling of the 62310 working face, and the two amounts are about 910 and 1,290 mm during recovery of the 62310 working face, respectively. This tunneling method achieves an excellent roadway control effect.

Abstract:
We present abundances derived from echelle spectroscopy of the planetary nebula NGC 6210 from the forbidden, collisionally excited lines, and from the permitted, recombination lines. We have obtained spectra from 3 positions in the nebula: at the central star, and 6 and 12 arcseconds south of the central star. We find a discrepancy of a factor of 2 between the O2+/H+ ratio derived by the recombination lines and by the forbidden lines in each spatial position. This discrepancy may result from the presence of temperature fluctuations in NGC 6210, where the collisionally excited lines are exponentially weighted to regions of higher temperature. A value for the root-mean-square temperature fluctuation parameter t2(OIIabun)= 0.038+0.007–0.009 is derived for the central star spectrum, 0.040+0.006–0.013 for the 6 arcsecond offset, and 0.051+0.014–0.015 for the 12 arcsecond offset spectrum. Thus no significant variation in t2 is seen as a function of spatial position within the nebula. We have also estimated t2 by comparing the derived Balmer Jump temperature at the 6 arcsecond offset, Te(BaJ)= 7900+2400–1600K, with the temperature derived from the [O III] 5007/4363å ratio Te[O III]= 9370±100K at this position. This comparison suggest t2(BaJ)= 0.041±0.020, in agreement with the values for t2 as estimated from the recombination lines.

Abstract:
Accurately identifying Natura 2000 habitat areas with the support of remote sensing techniques is becoming increasingly feasible. Various data types and methods are used for this purpose, and the fusion of data from various sensors and temporal periods (terms) within the phenological cycle allows natural habitats to be precisely identified. This research was aimed at selecting optimal datasets to classify three grassland Natura 2000 habitats (codes 6210, 6410 and 6510) in the Ostoja Nidziańska Natura 2000 site in Poland based on hyperspectral imagery and botanical on-ground reference data acquired in three terms during one vegetative period in 2017 (May, July and September), as well as a digital terrain model (DTM) obtained by airborne laser scanning (ALS). The classifications were carried out using a random forest (RF) algorithm on minimum noise fraction (MNF) transform output bands obtained for single terms, as well as data fusion combining the topographic indices (TOPO) calculated from the DTM, multitemporal hyperspectral data, or a combination of the two. The classification accuracy statistics were analysed in various combinations based on the datasets and their terms of acquisition. Topographic indices improved the classification accuracy of habitats 6210 and 6410, with the greatest impact noted in increased classification accuracy of xerothermic grasslands. The best terms for identifying specific habitats were autumn for 6510 and summer for 6210 and 6410, while the best results overall were obtained by combining data from all terms. The highest obtained values of the F1 coefficient were 84.5% for habitat 6210, 83.2% for habitat 6410, and 69.9% for habitat 6510. Comparing the data fusion results for habitats 6210 and 6410, greater accuracy was obtained by adding topographic indices to multitemporal hyperspectral data, while for habitat 6510, greater accuracy was obtained by fusing only multitemporal hyperspectral data.

Abstract:
Root observations in situ with a rhizotron camera enabled us to compare the performance of apple (Malus ×domestica Borkh.) trees on 3 rootstock clones planted in a New York orchard with a history of apple replant disease. Visual observations were conducted in situ at monthly intervals during 2 growing seasons through minirhizotron tubes for trees grafted onto 3 rootstocks: M.7 (M.7), Geneva 30 (G.30), and Cornell-Geneva 6210 (CG.6210). There were 3 preplant soil treatments (fumigation, compost amendment, and untreated checks) and 2 tree planting positions (within the old tree rows or in the old grass lanes of the previous orchard at this site). Preplant soil treatments and old-row versus grass-lane tree planting positions had no apparent influence on root systems, whereas rootstock clones substantially influenced root growth and demography. New root emergence was suppressed during the first fruit-bearing year (2004) on all 3 rootstock clones compared with the previous nonbearing year (2003). A root-growth peak in early July accounted for more than 50% of all new roots in 2003, but there was no midsummer root-growth peak in 2004. The median lifespan for roots of CG.6210 was twice that of G.30 and M.7 in 2004. Also, CG.6210 had more roots below 30 cm depth, whereas M.7 had more roots from 11 to 20 cm depth. Trees on CG.6210 were bigger, yielded more fruit, and had the highest yield efficiency in the third year after planting compared with trees on G.30 and M.7 rootstocks. Crop load appeared to inhibit new root development and changed root-growth dynamics during the first bearing year, with a resurgence in new root growth after fruit was harvested in October 2004. Rootstock genotype was the dominant influence on root lifespan and distribution in this study, whereas preplant soil fumigation, compost amendments, and replanting positions had little apparent impact on root characteristics despite their influence on above-ground tree growth and yield.

Abstract:
The present study entitled “To evaluate Histopathological changes in Placenta of IUGR” was conducted in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. A total of 400 patients were studied. Out of them 200 were normal patients without IUGR and 200 with IUGR. These patients were evaluated with the help of semistructured proforma consisting of various socio-demographic and clinical variables.Number of LSCS deliveries in IUGR patients (59) is significantly more than control group (33).The number of syncytial knot formation (>10) in IUGR is 169 compared to 153 of control and hence is statistically insignificant. Cytotrophoblastic proliferation (>10) in IUGR (126) is significantly more than (92) in the control group. Number Of area fibrinoid necrosis in villi > 5 in IUGR group is 57 compared to control group (29) (significantly higher) No. of hylinized areas (> 5) in IUGR (101) is significantly higher than in control group (68). Histopathological findings in low power field like syncytial knot formation, cytotrophoblastic cellular proliferation, calcification and hyalinisation of villi are also found as normal aging changes in placenta but it occur early and more frequently per low power field in IUGR group. To conclude, these morphological & histological findings of placenta are the etiological basis for Intra uterine growth restriction.

Abstract:
We are testing control tactics for apple replant disease (ARD) complex, a worldwide problem for fruit growers that is attributed to various biotic and abiotic soil factors. In Nov. 2001, “Empire” apple trees on five rootstocks (M.26, M.7, G.16, CG.6210, and G.30) were planted into four preplant soil treatments—commercial compost at 492 kg/ha soil-incorporated and 492 kg·ha-1 surface-applied), soil fumigation with Telone C-17 (400 L·ha-1 of 1,3-dichloropropene + chloropicrin injected at 30 cm depth five weeks prior to replanting), compost plus fumigant combination, and untreated controls—at an old orchard site in Ithaca, N.Y. Trees were replanted in rows perpendicular to, and either in or out of, previous orchard rows. Irrigation was applied as needed, and N-P-K fertilizer was applied in 2001 to all non-compost treatments to compensate for nutrients in the compost treatment. After two growing seasons, the rootstock factor has contributed most to tree-growth differences. CG.6210 rootstock supported greater growth in trunk diameter, central leader height, and lateral shoot growth (P < 0.05), regardless of preplant soil treatments and replant position. Trees on M.26 grew least over a two year period. Replant growth was greater in old grass lanes than in old tree rows, despite higher root-lesion nematode populations in previous grass lanes. Growth responses to preplant soil fumigation were negligible. Preplant compost did not increase tree growth during year one, but did increase lateral branch growth in year two. Results thus far suggest that replanting apple trees out of the old tree-row locations, and using ARD tolerant rootstocks such as CG.6210, may be more effective than soil fumigation for control of ARD in some old orchard sites.

Abstract:
We present new far-infrared line observations of the planetary nebulae (PNs) NGC 7027, NGC 7009, NGC 6210, NGC 6543, and IC 4997 obtained with the Kuiper Airborne Observatory (KAO). The bulk of our data are for NGC 7027 and NGC 7009, including [Ne V] 24 μm, [O IV] 26 μm, [O III] (52, 88μm), and [Nm] 57 μm. Our data for [O III] (52, 88) and [N III] 57 in NGC 7027 represent the first measurements of these lines in this source. The large [O III] 52/88 flux ratio implies an electron density (cm–3) of log Ne[O III] = 4.19, the largest Ne ever inferred from these lines. We derive N++/O++ = 0.394±0.062 for NGC 7027 and 0.179±0.043 for NGC 6210. We are able to infer the O+3/O++ ionic ratio from our data. As gauged by this ionic ratio, NGC 7027 is substantially higher ionization than is NGC 7009 – consistent with our observation that the former produces copious [Ne V] emission while the latter does not. These data help characterize the stellar ionizing radiation field.

Abstract:
The paper presents the results of the project (INT162) related to the active protection of xerothermic grasslands located in Poland (Western Pomerania) and Germany (Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Vorpomeranian). It presents the research methodology established to assess the conservation status of xerothermic grasslands (habitat code 6210). In the years 2020–2022, removal of tree and shrub growth, sheep grazing and mowing of grasslands were carried out at 14 sites. Prior to the project, the condition of the xerothermic grasslands was assessed using the methodology of monitoring natural habitats. It was indicated that appropriate rating (FV) was given only the nature reserves “Brodogóry” and “Stary Przylep”, where conservation works have been carried out for years. After the project was completed, the condition of the xerothermic grasslands did not improve due to their advanced transformations related to successive changes. Some indicators characterizing habitat 6210 have improved, e.g. the degree of shrub cover, coverage of typical herbaceous plants, types of structures. Protection measures should be continued, considering extending their scope to include controlled burning or the introduction of rare plant species.

Abstract:
In the present investigation, an improved strategy in two phase sampling for estimating the variance of the regression estimator has been developed. The proposed technique has been found to be more efficient than the strategy adopted by Hidiroglou and Sarndal (1995, 1998). The proposed strategy here is analogous to the higher order calibration approach proposed by Singh, Horn and Yu (1998). Many new estimators for estimating the variance of regression estimator have been studied theoretically as well as empirically. AMS (2000) Subject Classification: Primary 62D05; Secondary 62F10.

Abstract:
AbstractWe present a model that solves the abundance discrepancy problem for NGC 6210. The model proposes a high abundance of CNONe elements that lowers the temperature of the central parts of the nebula. The colder gas model reproduces the observed intensity of the strong [N ii] and [O iii] emission lines, and increases the predicted weak recombination lines towards their observed values. We examine how the usual nebular diagnostic line ratios depend on model abundances.

Abstract:
http://dx.doi.org/10.17014/ijog.vol1no2.20065The uplift of Southern Mountains in Early Pleistocene has formed the Yogyakarta Basin. In this basin, the Merapi volcanic activity has been developing. Based on 14C dating in cinder deposits exposed at Cepogo, the volcanic activity took place since ±42 ka. While on the basis of K/Ar dating in andesitic lava at Bibi Volcano, the activity took place since 0.67 ma. The high in the south and the appearance of Merapi volcanic dome in the north had caused a fl at valley. The southern part of the valley is bounded by the Southern Mountains and the western part is bounded by the West Progo Mountains. In the present time, the lithology of the areas which are interpreted as a palaeo-valley is composed of black clay deposits. This black clay is a contact between the basement rocks and Merapi volcanic deposits. The black clay deposits exposed in the Progo River (Kasihan) has been developed since ±16.59 to 0.47 ka, while in the Opak River (Watuadeg) 6210 y BP. Younger black clay deposits intersecting with lahars are also exposed at the Winongo River and have an age of 310 y BP. The age data of volcanic stratigraphy shows that Merapi activities had taken place since ±6210 up to ±310 years ago.

Abstract:
Abstract The T cell-dependent processes of class switch recombination (CSR) and immune maturation are believed to be driven by affinity-dependent clonal selection. However, analysis of the anti-hapten 2-phenyloxazolone response reveals that (i) thymus-dependent IgM are as heterogene-ous as natural and thymus-independent antibodies, (ii) many IgM exhibit similar or greater affinities than the classic Ox1 clonotype that (iii) dominates only after CSR, (iv) CSR selects B cell clones with shorter and more uniform CDR-H3 lengths and (v) primary IgM encoded by VH1 family genes were almost completely eliminated from the repertoire by CSR. Thus, contrary to the current paradigm, CSR appears to be clonally regulated more on the basis of BCR-specific, e.g. CDR-H3 idiotope-related, T cell action than affinity-dependent clonal selection.

Abstract:
Apple replant disease (ARD) is a common problem typified by stunted growth and reduced yields in successive plantings of apple (Malus ×domestica Borkh.) in old orchard sites. ARD is attributed to biotic and abiotic factors; it is highly variable by sites, making it difficult to diagnose and overcome. In this experiment, we tested several methods of controlling ARD in a site previously planted to apple for >80 years. Our objective was to evaluate practical methods for ARD management. We compared three different experimental factors: four preplant soil treatments (PPSTs) (compost amendments, fumigation with Telone C-17, compost plus fumigation, and untreated soil); two replanting positions (in the old tree rows vs. old grass lanes); and five clonal rootstocks (`M.26', `M.7', `G.16', `CG.6210', and `G.30') during 4 years after replanting. The PPSTs had little effect on tree growth or yields during 4 years. Tree growth was affected by planting position, with trees planted in old grass lanes performing better than those in the old tree rows. Rootstocks were the most important factor in overcoming ARD; trees on `CG.6210' and `CG.30' grew better and yielded more than those on other rootstocks. Rootstock selection and row repositioning were more beneficial than soil fumigation or compost amendments in controlling ARD at this orchard.

Abstract:
The present study aims to discriminate four semi-arid grassland habitats in a Mediterranean Natura 2000 site, Southern Italy, involving 6210/E1.263, 62A0/E1.55, 6220/E1.434 and X/E1.61-E1.C2-E1.C4 (according to Annex I of the European Habitat Directive/EUropean Nature Information System (EUNIS) taxonomies). For this purpose, an intra-annual time-series of 30 Sentinel-2 images, embedding phenology information, were investigated for 2018. The methodology adopted was based on a two-stage workflow employing a Support Vector Machine classifier. In the first stage only four Sentinel-2 multi-season images were analyzed, to provide an updated land cover map from where the grassland layer was extracted. The layer obtained was then used for masking the input features to the second stage. The latter stage discriminated the four grassland habitats by analyzing several input features configurations. These included multiple spectral indices selected from the time-series and the Digital Terrain Model. The results obtained from the different input configurations selected were compared to evaluate if the phenology information from time-series could improve grassland habitats discrimination. The highest F1 values (95.25% and 80.27%) were achieved for 6210/E1.263 and 6220/E1.434, respectively, whereas the results remained stable (97,33%) for 62A0/E1.55 and quite low (75,97%) for X/E1.61-E1.C2-E1.C4. However, since for all the four habitats analyzed no single configuration resulted effective, a Majority Vote algorithm was applied to achieve a reduction in classification uncertainty.

Abstract:
In this study, we wanted to determine the incidence and prevalence of AKI in admitted patients of our institution in relation to their age, sex and clinical conditions. We also wanted to study the various aetiologies causing acute kidney injury in children, its severity in admitted patients, the time interval of onset of disease and onset of AKI, it’s mode of management and outcomes in children. This study was conducted in the paediatric ward of a tertiary care hospital in Eastern India. Total 147 cases of hospitalized AKI patients were studied. The incidence of AKI was found to be 1.27% in all hospitalized children. Maximum no. of cases were found in the age group >10 years (44.2%). Male children outnumbered female children by a ratio of 2:1. Fever (72.8%) and Oliguria/anuria (72.1%) were the most common presenting features. Pallor was the most common presenting sign in 66% followed by oedema (42.2%), encephalopathy (31.9%) and respiratory distress (16.3%). 32% of cases presented within 24hrs with an H/O oliguria/anuria and 64% in within 72hrs. Most patients were managed with conservative management (53%) but 36.7% were managed with HD and 10.3% were managed with PD.Acute Kidney Injury cases were more common in children of age group >10 years, males being affected more. Fever and oliguria/anuria were the commonest mode of presentations with malaria as the most frequent clinical condition associated with AKI followed by sepsis. The renal type was the commonest type of AKI. There was a moderate derangement of kidney function in the majority of cases with hyperkalaemia in a significant group of patients. 47% of patients required dialytic support and case fatality was 13%. The presence of dysnatremia, hyperkalaemia, encephalopathy and shock were poor predictors of the outcome of AKI.

Abstract:
The unit-Lindley distribution has recently been introduced in the literature as an alternative to the beta and the Kumaraswamy distributions in support (0,1). This distribution enjoys many virtuous properties over the mentioned distributions. In this article, we address the issue of parameter estimation from a Bayesian perspective and study relative performance of different estimators through extensive simulation experiments. Significant emphasis is given to the estimation of stress–strength reliability employing classical as well as Bayesian approach. Application of an intuitive metric of discrepancy derived from stress–strength reliability is considered and computed for two different geographic regions with respect to an important public health indicator. Abstract:
There are several statistical models which have explicit quantile functions, but do not have manageable cumulative distribution functions. For example, Govindarajulu, various forms of lambda, and power-Pareto distributions. Thus, to study the reliability measures for such kind of distributions, a quantile-based tool is essentially required. In this article, we consider quantile version of some well- known reliability measures in the reversed time scale. We study stochastic orders based on the reversed hazard quantile function and the mean inactivity quantile time function. Further, we discuss relative reversed hazard quantile function order, likelihood quantile ratio order, and elasticity quantile order. Connections between the newly proposed orders and the existing stochastic orders are established. AMS 2010 Subject Classification: 60E15, 62E10

Let π1, ... , πk be k independent populations and let Fi ( x)= F( x - θi) be the absolutely continuous cumulative distribution function (cdf) of the i-th population indexed by the location parameter θi; i=1,,.... k. A class of subset selection procedures based on sub-sample extrema for unequal sample sizes is proposed for the problem of selecting a subset from ( π1, .... πk) which contains the population with largest location parameter. The proposed subset selection procedures are then compared with the subset selection procedures of Hsu (1981) in the sense of Pitman ARE (asymptotic relative efficiency). It is shown that these procedures can approximately be implemented with the help of existing tables and sample size sufficient for their implementation, based on simulation results, is discussed. Abstract:
How to construct the pseudo-weights in voluntary samples is an important practical problem in survey sampling. The problem is quite challenging when the sampling mechanism for the voluntary sample is allowed to be non-ignorable. Under the assumption that the sample participation model is correctly specified, we can compute a consistent estimator of the model parameter and construct the propensity score estimator of the population mean. We propose using the empirical likelihood method to construct the final weights for voluntary samples by incorporating the bias calibration constraints and the benchmarking constraints. Linearization variance estimation of the proposed method is developed. A toy example is also presented to illustrate the idea and the computational details. A limited simulation study is also performed to evaluate the performance of the proposed methods. AMS subject classification: 62D10, 63D05

The fuzzy time series method for forecasting continues to develop over time. This research discusses fuzzy time series, which considers two factors for high order using interval partitioning based on interval ratio with long relation construction for getting different accuracy in forecasting between combination method and existing method. The first step is the formation of the universe of speech. Second, divide the universe of discourse into several intervals using interval ratios. Third, fuzzification. Fourth, build fuzzy logic relations and fuzzy logic relation groups, and fifth, defuzzification. The previous methods would be compared with the fuzzy logic relation construction result. The simulation used Indonesian rubber production data for 2000-2020. The results and errors were tested using the average forecasting error rate (AFER).
