Abstract:
Remote sensing technology is one of the best methods for the large-scale monitoring of chlorophyll in crops. This study analyzes the feasibility of estimating the contents of chlorophyll by means of narrow band normalized difference vegetation indices (NDVInb). The reflectance of the two bands forming the NDVInbis from simulations run on the PROSPECT model. A traversal of possible combinations of NDVInbare examined from 400 nm to 800 nm. Our results indicate that, at the leaf level, estimation of chlorophyll content can be identified in NDVInb. Ranges for these bands include: 1) 720-735 nm combined with 400-428 nm; 2) 550-615 nm, 692-701 nm or 707-715 nm combined with 400-432 nm or 462-496 nm; 3) 562-589 nm, 616-662 nm or 729-737 nm combined with 434-454 nm; and 4) 664-687 nm combined with 550-615 nm or 692-701 nm.

Abstract:
Abstract Background In patients with Ph-negative MPN, a prior thrombosis (PrTh) occurs in around 1/5 of cases, with variable platelet (PLT) count and variable distance from diagnosis. Objective To investigate the influence of PLT count at PrTh on diagnostic and therapeutic approach in MPN patients. Material and methods We evaluated 129 MPN patients from RIT, reclassified according to WHO 2008 criteria as ET (n70), initial-primary myelofibrosis (n29), early-PV (n10), and unclassifiable-MPN (n20). Results Patients, 60 males and 69 females, showed following PrTh: 91(71%) major arterial (37 AMI, 4 angina, 24 stroke, and 26 TIA); 12(9%) minor arterial; 22(17%) major venous (8 DVT, 7 splanchnic, 4 cerebral sinus, 3 pulmonary embolism); and 4(3%) minor venous events. PrTh occurred at a median distance of 4.1 months (range 0.1-118) from MPN diagnosis. This distance was >24 months in 21(16%) patients. At occurrence of PrTh, median age was 58 years. PLT count (x109/L) had a median value of 661 (range 150-2200), and was ≤450, 451-600, 601-700, 701-1000, and >1000 in 15(12%), 35(27%), 26(20%), 43(33%), and 10(8%) patients, respectively. Median white blood cell (WBC) count was 9.0 x 109/L and median hematocrit (HCT) value was 46% in males, and 41% in females. Median time (months) from PrTh to diagnosis of MPN was higher (p0.004) in patients with lower PLT count (x 109/L): ≤450 (50.2), 451-600 (11.7), 601-700 (2.7), 701-1000 (1.8), and >1000 (1.4). After occurrence of PrTh, all patients received conventional anti-thrombotic treatment, but in 7(5.4%) patients 9 recurrent thrombosis were reported before MPN diagnosis (11/100 pt-years). At MPN diagnosis, clonality was documented in 101(78%) patients (JAK2 V617F mutation in 96 cases, 74%). The age was >60 years in 61(47%) patients. PLT count (x109/L) had a median value of 720 (166-2440), and was ≤450 (n 7, 5%), 451-600 (n 21, 16%), 601-700 (n 28, 22%), 701-1000 (n 58, 45%), >1000 (n15, 12%). WBC count (109/L) had a median value of 8.9, and was >10 in 40 (31%) cases. Median HCT level (%) was 45.6 in males and 42.1 in females. Cardiovascular risk factors (CVRF), comorbidities and symptoms were documented in 103(80%), 97(75%), and 57(44%) cases, respectively. Thrombotic risk (IPSET-Th) was high in 97.5%, and intermediate in 2.5% of cases. All 129 patients received anti-thrombotic drugs (low dose aspirin in 95% of cases) and, immediately after the diagnosis, they started a cytoreductive treatment (hydroxycarbamide 89%, anagrelide 8%, interferon-alpha 3%). Patients with a PLT count (x109/L) at PrTh ≤600(n 50), as compared with those with a PLT count >600(n 79), showed a longer median time to the MPN diagnosis (16.7 vs 2.0 months, p<0.001). No significant difference was found in the rate of: arterial PrTh (80% vs 79.7%, p0.97); recurrence of thrombosis before the diagnosis (8% vs 4%, p0.69); JAK2 V617F mutation (80% vs 71%, p0.29); age >60 years (52% vs 44%, p0.39); CVRF (82%vs79%, p0.63); WBC >10 x109/L (23% vs 39%, p0.07); HCT high level [>47% in males, >44% in females](28% vs 36%, p0.37), and high thrombotic risk [IPSET-Th] (96%vs99%, p0.56). During follow-up (median 7.9 years) they showed a higher incidence of thrombosis recurrence (30%vs15%, p0.04; 4.5 vs 1.7/100 pt-y, p<0.01) Conclusion Time to MPN diagnosis was significantly longer in patients with PLT count (x109/L) at PrTh ≤600 vs >600, and this time to diagnosis was characterized by a not negligible thrombosis recurrence. Moreover, during follow-up they showed a higher incidence of thrombosis recurrence. This analysis strongly suggests that a PLT count <600 or even <450 x109/L, in patients with unexplained thrombosis, deserves the search of a probable MPN, in order to promptly start cytoreductive treatment in addition to a conventional anti-thrombotic therapy. This study evaluates the costs and utilities of different treatment strategies for stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients based on Markov model and provides guidance for clinical decision and health policy making. Patients with stable COPD from four subcenters had been investigated. A Markov model with three states, namely, GOLD 1-2, GOLD 3-4, and death, was built using TreeAge Pro 2011 software. Cost-utility ratio (CUR) and incremental cost-utility ratio (ICUR) from forty Markov circles were applied to measuring the economics evaluation of three different treatments. A total of 236 stable COPD patients were randomly assigned into three groups, Western medicine group (79 cases), traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) group (79 cases), and combined group (78 cases). The results of Markov cohort simulation showed that the accumulative quality-adjusted life years (QALYs) of the three above groups per 100 000 people in 40 years were 1 702 773, 1 616 797, and 1 709 668 years, respectively, and the accumulative costs were 13 582 138 466, 1 207 904 113, and 14 656 607 371 Yuan, respectively. The CURs of the three groups were 87 235, 74 602, and 87 223 Yuan/QALY, respectively. ICURs of combined group were 8 707 and 41 705 Yuan as against Western medicine group and TCM group, respectively. Therefore, combined treatment has a lower cost, higher health output, and more socioeconomic benefits in the long run. Markov model is recommended to conduct health economics evaluation of different treatments for COPD.

The rate of opening of the Ca(2+)-induced non-specific, cyclosporin A-inhibited, pore of the mitochondrial inner membrane of rat heart and liver mitochondria at pH 6.0 was less than 10% of that at pH 7.4. 2. The effect could not be explained by inhibition of Ca2+ uptake into the mitochondria, or of the matrix peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase (PPIase), or of the Ca(2+)-induced conformational change of the adenine nucleotide translocase. 3. It is suggested that the proposed interaction of matrix PPIase with the ‘c’ conformation of the adenine nucleotide carrier in the presence of Ca2+ [Griffiths & Halestrap (1991) Biochem. J. 274, 611-614] is inhibited by low pH. 4. The relevance of this to the protective effect of low pH on hypoxic and chemical-induced cell damage is discussed.

Objective: to evaluate the clinical efficacy of the rituximab biosimilar Acellbia® at a dose of 600 mg intravenously at a 2-week interval in patients with active rheumatoid arthritis (RA) 12 and 24 weeks after initiation of treatment.Subjects and methods. Examinations were made in 20 active seropositive RA patients who had not been previously treated with biological agents (BAs), but received two infusions of the rituximab biosimilar Acellbia® at a dose of 600 mg intravenously at a 2-week interval during stable therapy with methotrexate (MT) and glucocorticoids (GCs). The European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) response criteria (Disease Activity Score 28 (DAS28), Clinical Disease Activity Index (CDAI), and Simplified Disease Activity Index) and the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) criteria were used to evaluate the efficiency of Acellbia® therapy. Disease remission was identified by DAS28 and 2011 ACR/EULAR criteria. The safety profile (the frequency of all reported adverse events) corresponds to the data on the safety of rituximab (MabThera®).Results and discussion. At the time of inclusion, median DAS28 was 5.6 [4.9; 6.8], SDAI – 27.1 [23.0; 39.9], and CDAI – 26.6 [22.2; 37.0]. At week 12 after initiation of Acellbia® therapy, they decreased to 4.2 [3.24; 4.75], 14.4 [8.5; 20.7], and 13.2 [7.9; 19.0] respectively, which remained at 24-week follow-up (p<0.01). At week 12, the frequencies of ACR 20%, 50%, 70% improvements were 70, 55, and 5%; at week 24, these were 75, 45, and 15%, respectively. A good or moderate EULAR response at week 24 was observed in 25 and 60% of patients, respectively. At week 24, DAS28, SDAI, and CDAI remissions were achieved by 4 (20%), 2 (10%), and 1 (5%); low disease activity – by 4 (20%), 5 (25%), and 6 (30%) patients, respectively; high disease activity as measured by SDAI and CDAI remained in 3 (15%) patients. Two patients (10%) met the 2011 ACR/EULAR remission criteria at 24 weeks.Conclusion. The rituximab biosimilar Acellbia® 600 mg used in patients with active seropositive RA is clinically effective and comparable in the safety profile as shown in investigations of the brand-name MabThera® (F. Hoffman-La Roche Ltd., Switzerland) at a low dose (500 mg), as well as the first BA.

Abstract We describe a method for simultaneously determining albumin, by using bromcresol purple, and calcium, by using Arsenazo III, in the same analytical cuvette on the Hitachi 704. Both assays agree well with accepted procedures. The standard curves for the albumin and calcium assays are linear from 0 to 60 g/L and 0 to 5.0 mmol/L, respectively. Calibration is stable for 7 days with use of open reagent in the instrument. Both assays are unaffected by hemoglobin less than or equal to 5 g/L and Intralipid less than or equal to 4 g/L; calcium is unaffected by bilirubin less than or equal to 600 mumol/L.

Pejibaye (Bactris gasipaes Kunth, Palmae) is being evaluated for production of fresh heart of palm in Hawaii. Precocity, yields, and weed control were evaluated in response to woven black polypropylene mat (control), oryzalin, oxyfluorfen, and paraquat. Control plots attained 100% of plants harvested by 26 months, followed by oxyfluorfen (97.5%), oryzalin (77.5%), and paraquat (60%). Estimated heart of palm yields (3731 plants/ha) were similar with oxyfluorfen 1.2 kg a.i./ha (707 kg·ha–1), polypropylene mat (612 kg·ha–1), oxyfluorfen 0.6 kg a.i./ha (600 kg·ha–1), and oryzalin 4.5 kg a.i./ha (478 kg·ha–1). Based on precocity, yields, and weed control efficiency, the performance rating of these weed control treatments was mat ≈ oxyfluorfen > oryzalin > paraquat. Chemical names used: 4-(dipropylamino)-3,5-dinitrobenzenesulfonamide (oryzalin); 2-chloro-1-(3-ethoxy-4-nitrophenoxy)-4-(trifluoromethyl)benzene (oxyfluorfen); 1,1′-dimethyl-4-4′-bibyridinium ion (paraquat).

Kulit pisang merupakan bahan buangan yang cukup banyak jumlahnya dan selama ini masih belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal.komposisi terbanyak kulit pisang adalah 69.9 % dan karbohidrat 18.5 %, sebenarnya dapat dimanfaatkan sehingga dihasilkan produk yang lebih bernilai ekonomis. Salah satu manfaatnya adalah mengubah kulit pisang menjadi glukosa melalui proses hidrolisa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh katalisator dan suhu operasi untuk mendapatkan glukosa dari hasil hidrolisa pati kulit pisanng. Dan untuk mendapatkan hasil hidrolisa (glukosa) terbesar dari variable yang ada. Kulit pisang seberat 100g dihancurkan menggunakan blender dengan menambahkan air sebanyak 250mL untuk membuat bubur kulit pisang. Setelah itu, memanaskan bubur kulit pisang dengan suhu operasi 600°C, 700°C, 800°C dan 900°C selama 2,5 jam dan kecepatan pengadukan 700 rpm. Sebelumnya, menambahkan katalisator HCl dengan konsentrasi 5%, 10%, 15% dan 20% pada bubur kulit pisang. Kemudian mendinginkannya dan menyaringnya untuk diambil filtratnya. Kemudian menganalisa filtrat dengan menggunakan spektrofotometri dengan pereaksi anthron. Sehingga dari penelitian ini diperoleh konsentrasi terbesar glukosa yaitu 818 mg/L yang diperoleh dari penambahan konsentrasi 20% katalis HCl pada suhu 600°C

Sepeda motor supra x 125R merupakan jenis kendaraan manual dengan mesin konvensional yang artinya sistem bahan bakar pada sepeda motor ini masih menggunakan komponen karburator sebagai pencampur bahan bakar dan udara dalam proses pembakaran. Pengembangan turbulator empat bilah dengan variasi kemiringan sudu untuk meningkatkan torsi dan daya pada sepeda motor konvensional bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara detail perbedaan yang terjadi pada penggunaan turbulator 600 dan turbulator 700. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan dinotes, hasi pengujian yang dilakukan Turbulator 600 menghasilkan rata-rata torsi sebesar 10,15 Nm terjadi kenaikan torsi sebesar 14,2% dibandingkan dengan turbulator 700 yang hanya dapat meningkatkan torsi sebesar 12,1% dari keadaan mesin standard tanpa menggunakan turbulator. Turbulator 600 menghasilkan rata-rata daya sebesar 7,53 Hp terjadi kenaikan torsi sebesar 4% dibandingkan dengan turbulator 700 yang hanya dapat meningkatkan daya sebesar 1,1% dari keadaan mesin standard tanpa menggunakan turbulator. Turbulator 600 menghasilkan rata-rata konsumsi bahan bakar sebesar 0,047 Kg/Hp.h terjadi kenaikan daya sebesar 91,7,2%, dibandingkan dengan turbulator 700 yang hanya dapat meningkatkan torsi sebesar 90,4% dari keadaan mesin standard tanpa menggunakan turbulator.Kata Kunci : Daya, Konsumsi bahan bakar, Turbulator, Torsi. Supra x 125R motorcycle is a type of manual vehicle with a conventional engine which means the fuel system on this motorcycle is still using the carburetor component as a mixer of fuel and air in the combustion process. Development of turbine blades with variations of blade slope to increase torque and power on a conventional motorcycle aims to find out in detail the differences that occur in the use of turbulent 600 and turbulator 700. Data retrieval is done by using dynotest, test results done Turbulator 600 produce average a torque of 10.15 Nm increases torque by 14.2% compared to a turbulent 700 which can only increase torque by 12.1% of the standard engine state without the use of turbulence. The 600 turbulence generates an average power of 7.53 Hp, a 4% increase in torque compared to a turbulent 700 which can only boost power by 1.1% of the standard engine state without the use of turbulence. Ring compression tests on the oxidized Zircaloy-4 cladding tubes were performed to examine the mechanical reliability of Zircaloy-4 cladding tubes. In compression of the non-oxidized cladding tubes, large load drop associated with the cladding failure appeared at the total displacement of 6.3 mm. After oxidation at 600°C for 24 hrs and 700°C for 3 hrs, small drop of load resulting from small cracks in the thin oxide film was observed at the total displacement of 1.0 mm. After oxidation at 700°C for 24hrs, load was extremely low, but catastrophic fracture occurred at the total displacement of 2.4~2.8 mm. The oxide of Zircaloy-4 cladding tubes formed at high temperature apparently causes the premature failure of tubes.

Intergrowth-superlattice-structured SrBi4Ti4O15–Bi4Ti3O12(SBT–BIT) films prepared on p-Si substrates by sol-gel processing. Synthesized SBT–BIT films exhibit good ferroelectric properties. As the annealing temperature increases from 600°C to 700°C, the remanent polarization Prof SBT–BIT films increases, while the coercive electric field Ecdecreases. SBT–BIT films annealed at 700°C have a Prvalue of 18.9µC/cm2which is higher than that of SBT (16.8µC/cm2) and BIT (14.6µC/cm2), and have the lowest Ecof 142 kV/cm which is almost the same as that of SBT and BIT. The C-V curves of Ag/SBT-BIT/p-Si heterostructures show the clockwise hysteresis loops which reveal the memory effect due to the polarization. The memory window in C-V curve of Ag/SBT-BIT/p-Si is larger than that of Ag/SBT/p-Si heterostructure or Ag/BIT/p-Si heterostructure.

Tanaman Sawi pagoda (Brassica narinosa) mengandung banyak nutrisi dan antioksidan sehingga apabila dikonsumsi akan berpengaruh sangat baik untuk mempertahankan kesehatan tubuh. Tujuan dari penelitian guna mengetahuai pengaruh pemberian dosis pupuk anorganik terhadap tertumbuhan dan hasil sawi pagoda dengan model hydroponic wick system. Metode percobaan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari 6 perlakuan kombinasi antara konsentrasi pupuk AB Mix, pupuk NPK, pupuk daun dan diulang sebanyak 4 kali yaitu A = Pupuk AB Mix 1300 ppm + Pupuk NPK 600 ppm + Pupuk Daun 500 ppm, B = Pupuk AB Mix ; Pupuk NPK 600 ppm + Pupuk Daun 500 ppm, C = Pupuk AB Mix 1300 ppm + Pupuk NPK 700 ppm + Pupuk Daun 600 ppm, D = Pupuk AB Mix ; Pupuk NPK 700 ppm + Pupuk Daun 600 ppm, E = Pupuk AB Mix 1300 ppm + Pupuk NPK 800 ppm + Pupuk Daun 700 ppm dan F = Pupuk AB Mix ; Pupuk NPK 800 ppm + Pupuk Daun 700 ppm. Hasil percobaan menunjukan perlakuan dosis dengan larutan pupuk AB Mix, pupuk NPK, dan pupuk daun tidak menunjukkan hasil yang berbeda nyata, sedangkan pada jumlah daun pertanaman perlakuan terbaik terlihat pada 20 HST dosis AB Mix 1300 ppm + NPK 700 ppm + Pupuk Daun 600 ppm.

The study investigated the insecticidal efficacy of six Croatian inert dusts (D-01, JU-1, MA-4, MR-10, OP-4 and PD-1) and diatomaceous earth Celatom Mn-51® against red flour beetle Tribolium castaneum Herbst on wheat. The influence of mentioned dusts on the offspring development has also been investigated. The experiment was carried out in laboratory conditions on insects aged 7-21 days. Doses of 600 and 700 mg were tested for JU-1, MR-10, OP-4 and PD-1 and 300 and 400 mg for D-01, MA-4 and Celatom Mn-51® alongside previously mentioned doses (600 and 700 mg ). The mortality rate of red flour beetle was determined on the 7th and 14th day of exposure and progeny was determined by number of developed adults. Regarding the insecticidal efficacy on T. castaneum the tested inert dusts can be divided into three groups: very effective dusts (D-01 ( = 600 mg ), MA-4 ( = 500 mg ), medium-effective dusts (JU-1 and PD-1) and low-efficient dusts (OP-4 and MR-10). Based on the obtained results it can be concluded that there are some resources of inert dusts with high insecticidal potential in the Republic of Croatia.

The oxidation of Ti 19 Al 18 La 4 N 57 coating was studied at 600°C, 700°C, and 800°C for up to 30 h in air. The coating consisted of fine Ti 3 Al 3 N 2 polycrystals. The oxides formed were an amorphous mixture of Al 2 O 3, TiO 2, and La 2 O 3. During oxidation, nitrogen diffused out from the coating. The addition of 4 at.% La to the TiAlN coating deteriorated the soundness of the oxide film formed.

Two previously reported pyrolytic precursors for cyclopentadienylideneethenone (4) and benzyne produced two strong infrared bands attributable to ketene type compounds when their pyrolysates were examined by argon matrix isolation spectroscopy. To determine which band should be assigned to (4), four new precursors for (4) and benzyne and two analogues labelled with 13C at the carbonyl group have been synthesized. Precursors (8) and (14) are respectively a caged system and a bridged ,system bearing a mixed anhydride with trifluoroacetic acid. Flash vacuum pyrolysis of (8) and (14) at 600-700 with trapping at 77 K gave pyrolysates which contained biphenylene. Pyrolysis of (8) and (14) at 600-700�; in a stream of argon followed by deposition as an argon matrix at about 10 K showed that both produced a pyrolysate absorbing at 2089 cm-1 assigned to (4). Precursors (24) and (25) and the previously reported (18) and (27) are Meldrum's acid derivatives designed to yield the hypothetical cyclopentadienylidene Meldrum's acid (19) by cage fission or retro-Diels-Alder reaction. They all gave their biphenylene on flash vacuum pyrolysis at 600-700 � and their pyrolysates in argon matrices showed absorption both at 2089 cm-1 due to (4) and at 2225 cm-1 due to an unidentified ketene. The frequency shift resulting from substitution of 13C in the carbonyl group (52 cm-l) is in accordance with the assignment of the 2089 cm-1 band to (4). The pyrolysates from precursors 8a), (14), (18a), (25)and (27) were allowed to react with methanol and the resulting mixtures were hydrogenated. In all cases methyl cyclopentylacetate was obtained.

The Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS) measures daytime sleepiness in adults. This paper reports the following data in 616 medical students: 1 -ESS scores, 2-its correlation with the declared night sleep time, 3-comparison with ESS values obtained from Australia, 4-comparison of ESS values in a sub-population of 111 students tested early and late 1995. There were 387 males, 185 females and 4 not specified. Age = 20.16±2.23 (SD). ESS score = 10.00 ± 3.69 (SD), declared sleep time = 7.04± 1.03 (SD). ESS scores did not statistically correlate with sleep time. Average ESS score was statistically higher than in the Australian sample. Retesting of the medical students showed an increase in ESS values from March to November 1995. Sleep time difference was non-significant. Higher ESS scores in this sample seem to be related to shorter sleep time, but fatigue effects can not be ruled out.

Spinel LiMn2O4 was prepared by a molten-salt combustion synthesis using eutectic acetate salts as starting materials without any additional molten-salt at 400°C, 500°C, 600°C and 700°C for 3h. The experimental results show that the main phase of the produts is spinel LiMn2O4, and the impurities are Mn2O3 or Mn3O4. It has been found that elevated temperature was easy to generate Mn3O4, and low temperature was easy to generate Mn2O3. The product prepared at 600 °C is single phase LiMn2O4 and has good crystallinity. With increasing combustion reaction temperature, the particle sizes of the products were decreased. The product prepared at 600 °C has the highest initial specific capacity of 116.5 mAh•g-1 at 0.2C, the capacity retention was only 77.2% after 50 cycles.

The human renin infused rat model (HRIRM) was used as an in vivo small-animal model for evaluating the efficacy of a collection of inhibitors of human renin. The intravenous infusion of recombinant human renin (2.4 µg·kg-1·min-1) in the ganglion-blocked, nephrectomized rat produced a mean blood pressor response of 47 ± 3 mmHg (1 mmHg = 133.3 Pa), which was reduced by captopril, enalkiren, and losartan in a dose-dependent manner following oral administration, with ED50 values of 0.3 ± 0.1, 2.5 ± 0.9, and 5.2 ± 1.6 mg/kg, respectively. A series of peptidomimetic P2-P3 butanediamide renin inhibitors inhibited purified recombinant human renin in vitro in a concentration-dependent manner, with IC50 values ranging from 0.4 to 20 nM at pH 6.0, with a higher range of IC50 values (0.8-80 nM) observed at pH 7.4. Following i.v. administration of renin inhibitors, the pressor response to infused human renin in the HRIRM was inhibited in a dose-dependent manner, with ED50 values ranging from 4 to 600 µg/kg. The in vivo inhibition of human renin following i.v. administration in the rat correlated significantly better with the in vitro inhibition of human renin at pH 7.4 (r = 0.8) compared with pH 6.0 (r = 0.5). Oral administration of renin inhibitors also resulted in a dose-dependent inhibition of the pressor response to infused human renin, with ED50 values ranging from 0.4 to 6.0 mg/kg and the identification of six renin inhibitors with an oral potency of <1 mg/kg. The ED50 of renin inhibitors for inhibition of angiotensin I formation in vivo was highly correlated (r = 0.9) with the ED50 for inhibition of the pressor response. CaO sebagai katalis heterogen telah berhasil dibuat dari cangkang keong mas (Pomacea canaliculata L) dengan metode kalsinasi suhu tinggi. Kalsinasi masing-masing dilakukan pada suhu 600°C, 700°C, dan 900°C selama 4 jam. Hasil difraksi sinar-X menunjukan Puncak karakteristik kalsium oksida (CaO) pada sudut 2θ = 32,16°; 37,15°; 64,16° dan 67,5°, yang dikonfirmasi sesuai dengan standard CaO (JCPDS No. 82-1690). Berdasarkan data TGA kalsinasi cangkang keong mas pada suhu 900°C selama 4 jam diketahui mampu mengkonfersi cangkang keong mas menjadi katalis CaO sebanyak 46,37% berat. Pada suhu kalsiniasi 600°C dan 700°C selama 4 jam, menghasilkan CaCO3 kalsit 11,1% berat, dan CaCO3 vetiret 2,79% berat. Hasil SEM menunjukkan bahwa ukuran partikel serbuk padatan terkecil dimiliki oleh katalis CaO yaitu 13-1,2 µm dengan sebaran yang homogen. CaCO3 kalsit pada 600oC dan 700oC masing-masing memiliki ukuran antara 2,2 mm - 2,5 µm dan 1,6 mm - 1,25 µm dengan sebaran yang heterogen.

<p>Penentuan tingkat kematangan buah pisang cavendish biasanya dilakukan secara manual dengan membandingkan warna kulit buah pisang dengan bagan warna standar. Hal ini mempunyai kekurangan yaitu tidak konsisten dan sangat subyektif tergantung dari keahlian operator. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan hasil pengukuran tingkat kematangan buah pisang cavendish yang lebih akurat, mudah dan tidak merusak (non destruktif). Pengukuran kematangan buah pisang dilakukan berdasarkan faktor reflektansi cahaya, yaitu cahaya hijau (500-560 nm), jingga (580-610 nm), dan merah (600-650 nm) yang diperoleh dari LED. Sebuah spektrofotometer pada rentang spektrum 350-700 nm digunakan sebagai pembanding dalam penelitian ini, dengan sumber cahaya berasal dari lampu halogen untuk dapat memenuhi rentang panjang gelombang pada spektrofotometer. Hasil terbaik didapatkan dari pengukuran nilai reflektansi dengan cahaya merah (600-650 nm), dimana didapatkan nilai reflektansi sebesar 30%-39%, 39%-49%, 49%-59%, 59%-67% dan di atas 67% untuk tingkat kematangan 2,3,4,5 dan 6. Pengujian dengan menggunakan 71 sampel pada tingkat kematangan 2 sampai dengan 6 menghasilkan pengukuran 55 benar (77%), 11 kurang matang satu tingkat (16%) dan 5 lebih matang satu tingkat (7%). Sistem pemindaian (scanning) pada seluruh permukaan kulit pisang atau penggunaan citra kamera digital juga dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan akurasi hasil pengukuran.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Measurement of Cavendish Banana Ripeness Stage Based on LED Light Reflectance</strong></p><p>The determination of the ripeness stage of cavendish bananas is usually done manually by comparing banana peels with a standard color chart. This has the disadvantage of being inconsistent and very subjective depending on the expertise of the operator. This research was conducted to obtain the results of the measurement of the ripeness stage of cavendish banana which is more accurate, easy and not destructive. The ripeness stage measurement of banana was based on the light reflectance factor, which were green light (500-560 nm), orange (580-610 nm), and red (600-650 nm) obtained from the LEDs. A spectrophotometer in the spectrum range 350-700 nm was used as a comparison in this study, with light sources coming from halogen lamps to be able to meet the wavelength range of the spectrophotometer. The best results were obtained from the measurement of reflectance values with red light, where the reflectance values were 30%-39%, 39%-49%, 49%-59%, 59%-67% and above 67% for the maturity level of 2, 3 , 4, 5 and 6. Testing using 71 samples at maturity level 2 to 6 resulted in a prediction of 55 correct (77%), 11 less mature one level (16%) and 5 more mature one level (7%). A scanning system on the entire surface of a banana peel or the using image of digital camera can also be done to improve the accuracy of the measurement results.</p>

(Lamiaceae) ranged from 2.5 - 3% with the maximal value (3%) in spring. Analysis of the oil by GC/MS resulted in the identifi cation of 15, 15, 11, and 14 components in the oils prepared in spring, summer, autumn, and winter, respectively. The composition of the essential oils differed quantitatively and qualitatively according to the time of collection. Thymol (38.4%) and cis-sabinene hydrate (25.3%) were the major components in spring plants. Terpinen-4-ol (37.4%, 20.5%, 16.3%) was a major component in the summer, autumn and winter oils, respectively. cis- Sabinene hydrate (54.4%) was major in winter plants while terpinolene (43.1%) was the main component in autumn plants. Other components detected in lower amounts in all oil samples were sabinene and p-cymene (up to 7.4% and 13.9% in autumn), and α-terpinene (up to 13.3% in summer)

One diagnostic imaging modality that is more supportive of lung disorders is by using a Computed Tomography Scan examination. Image manipulation can be done to improve the appearance of the image. Using variations of Window Width and Window Level WW 1000 and WL -500, -600, -700, WW 1250, WL -500, -600, -700 and WW 1550, WL -500, -600, -700. The author took CT scan data of the Thorax with clinical lung tumors in 4 samples. Then an assessment was carried out in the form of a check list by respondents, namely 3 radiographers and 1 radiologist. The data is then processed using SPSS. Results & Conclusions: There is an influence of WW 1000 and WL -500, -600, -700, WW 1250 and WL -500, -600, -700 and WW 1550 and WL -500, -600, -700 on image quality, namely artifacts and noise on Thorax CT Scan examination with lung tumor cases, the conclusion was obtained from the results of the Friedman test which showed a p.value value of <0.001 or smaller than 0.05 so that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. From the results of the mean rank Friedman test, it is known that the value of image quality is artifacts and noise in Thorax CT scans with lung tumor cases. Variations in window width 1550 and window level 500 are able to produce the best image quality with minimal artifacts and noise. Thorax CT scan examination in lung tumor cases.

BaTiO3-coating films were prepared from a solution containing poly(vinylpyrrolidone) (PVP) of molar composition Ba(CH3COO)2:Ti(OC2H5)4:PVP:CH3COOH:H2O: C2H5OH = 1:1:0.5:27:4:5, via nonrepetitive, single-step dip-coating. The gel films were found to be converted into BaTiO3 films via evaporation of the solvent and CH3COOH below 210 °C, decomposition of PVP at 210–360 °C, decomposition of CH3COO− below 440 °C, and crystallization at 500–610 °C. The decomposition of PVP was accompanied by the progress of the condensation reaction, which resulted in significant reduction in film thickness. When the gel films were heated isothermally at 700 °C, crack-free BaTiO3 films as thick as 0.9 μm were obtained. When the gel films were heated isothermally at 360 °C and then at 700 °C, the film became denser. Higher dielectric constants around 290 were found for the film that underwent the isothermal heat treatment at 360 °C. A slower rate of PVP decomposition was thought to be the key for the film densification.

LiFe0.97Nb0.03PO4/C was synthesized by the method of high temperature ball milling (HTBM), using raw materials including Fe2O3, LiH2PO4, Nb2O5and glucose, which was used as reductant and carbon source. The samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and electrochemical performance test. The sample synthesized at 700 °C for 8h showed excellent electrochemical properties, with the discharge capacity as high as 140 mA•h/g at 0.1C rate respectively. The sample also showed an excellent capacity retention as there was no significant capacity fade after 10 cycles.

7024 Background: The eicosanoid pathway is altered in NSCLC. Pharmacological activators of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-gamma (PPARγ) have been shown to inhibit lung tumors in vitro. LY293111 inhibits the eicosanoid pathway, is a PPARγ agonist and modulates adipophilin and adiponectin expression levels in vitro. LY293111 is well tolerated and can be administered with cisplatin/gemcitabine. A randomized phase II study in NSCLC was undertaken. Methods: Pts with stage IIIB/IV NSCLC were randomized to two doses of LY293111 (200 mg BID (Arm A) or 600 mg BID (Arm B) or placebo (Arm C) alone for 7 days followed by concurrent cisplatin (75 mg/m2;d1) and gemcitabine (1250 mg/m2;d1,8) q21 days. Treatment was continued until disease progression or toxicity. Primary endpoint was PFS with 75% power to detect 33% improvement compared to placebo (5 months). Calculated sample size was 65 pts/arm (195 total) with a one sided type I error of 0.2. Changes in adipophilin mRNA expression and adiponectin serum levels were assessed at baseline and day 7. Results: Between 09/03 and 07/04, 201 pts were randomized and 195 treated. Demographics (all pts): M:F (65%:35%); median age 61 (range 27–87); stage IIIB/IV (15%:85%); ECOG PS (0:36%;1:64%). Demographics were well balanced between the 3 arms. Most common CTC grade 3/4 toxicities were nausea (8%), vomiting (7%), fatigue (6%) and diarrhea (6%) with only diarrhea related to dose of LY293111 (p=0.03). Response rates (CR+PR) were similar in all 3 arms (A:20%; B:27%; C:21%). There was no significant difference in median PFS (95% CI) between the arms (A: 4.6 months (3.2–5.0); B:6.0 months (4.6–7.2); C:6.0 months (5.2–7.0)). Median survival (95% CI) was similar in all 3 arms (A: 7.3 months (6.2–9.4); B:7.9 months (7.2–9.7); C: 9.0 months (7.7–12.5). Median change in serum adiponectin levels at d7 were significantly higher in arm B vs. placebo (p < 0.05). Adipophilin expression at d7 was increased in a dose dependent manner (p=NS) in arms A and B vs. placebo. Conclusions: LY293111 in combination with cisplatin/gemcitabine did not increase median PFS compared to placebo in pts with NSCLC. Pharmacodynamic modulation was observed but did not impact efficacy. This work focused on the synthesis of a catalyst based on layered double hydroxides with a molar cation concentration Ni/Cu/Fe/Mg/Al of 30/5/5/40/20 and its performance in the steam reforming of toluene as a model compound of biomass tar. Its performance at different temperatures (500, 600, 700, 800, and 900 °C) and steam/carbon molar ratios (S/C ratios) (1, 2, 4, 6, 8) was studied. The contact time used was 0.32 g h mol−1. The catalyst obtained allowed us to reach 98–99.87% gas conversion of toluene with a low carbon deposition on catalyst surface (1.4 wt %) at 800 °C and S/C = 4. In addition, conversions in the range of 600–700 °C were higher than 80% and 90%, respectively, and the type of carbon deposited on the catalyst was found to be filamentous, which did not significantly reduce the performance of the catalyst.

The article offers a translation from Buryat into Russian of the folklore materials collected by the ethnographer S. P. Baldaev during his expedition to the Olkhon region in 1962. The source base for the study is case No. 616 on 18 pages from the fund No. 36 “Folklore of the Olkhon Buryats (songs, legends)”. Of interest are the songs that reveal the traditional way of life of the Olkhon Buryats. The novelty of the study is due to the low level of knowledge of the original folklore of the Olkhon Buryats, which is a significant part of the heritage of S. P. Baldaev, who has not yet become the object of a special study. The purpose of the article is to introduce the folklore of the Olkhon Buryats of the specified fund into scientific circulation through translation of texts and their analysis. When translating, the established principles of scientific translation of folklore texts are applied, taking into account three main factors: language, content and context of the original. In other words, the authors tried to follow the original, avoiding unnecessarily adapting Buryat texts to the Russian language and not trying to achieve a beautiful artistic translation into literary Russian.

The LiMg0.06Mn1.94O4calcined at 500 °C for 3 hours then sintered at 600 °C, 700 °C and 800 °C for 3 hours by flameless liquid-phase combustion synthesis are prepared. Particle properties were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Besides, galvanostatic tests and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy were performed to investigate the cycling performance. Particle properties analyses showed that LiMg0.06Mn1.94O4sintered at 600 °C has a single phase and the average grain size is about 80-200 nm with a little agglomeration, it also displays the highest initial capacity of 114.2 mAh/g and still remains 82.7% after 40 cycles. Results showed that sintered temperature by nitric acid assisted liquid-phase combustion method should be 600 °C.

Abstract Inversion layers in the lower troposphere appear centered at two heights, 1.5 and 4 km, over the northwestern coast of the South China Sea in late boreal winter. The mechanisms of these dual inversion layers are investigated with thermal budget and composite analyses of the JRA-55 dataset. The thermal budget analysis classifies inversion layers between the levels of 700 and 600 hPa into two types. One type is related to high pressure moving southward along the eastern edge of the Tibetan Plateau; the arrival of the high coincides with subsidence that warms the 600-hPa level more strongly, and the stability increases between the 700- and 600-hPa levels. The other type is related to a synoptic-scale eastward-propagating wave in the upper troposphere. The upper-level high pressure in the wave is accompanied by a midtropospheric warm area whose intrusion at the 600-hPa level generates the inversion layers. Inversions between the levels of 925 and 850 hPa are related to heating and cooling by horizontal advection of potential temperature in the upper and lower levels, respectively. The vertical contrast of horizontal advection corresponds to a frontlike structure at the southern edge of a pressure surge. The pressure surge has a similar structure with the high pressure moving along the plateau edge as mentioned for the former type of inversion layers between the 700- and 600-hPa levels.

Nano-sized powders of CaCu3Ti4O12 (crystallite size of 44, 58 and 71 nm) have been synthesized by a polymerized complex method, followed by calcination the synthesized precursor at 600, 700 and 800°C in air for 8h. The CaCu3Ti4O12 powders were then characterized by XRD, FTIR and SEM. Sintering of the powders was conducted in air at 1100°C for 16h. The XRD results confirmed a typical perovskite CaCu3Ti4O12 structure in all the sintered ceramics, although the presence of a second phase of CaTiO3 was observed in the sample sintered using the powders calcined at 600°C. Microstructure of the sintered CaCu3Ti4O12 ceramics was observed by SEM and the grain size of the materials evaluated with polished using the line intercept method were found to be ~ 10-20 μm. A giant frequency-dependent dielectric constant samples (ε ~10000-60000) with weakly temperature dependence and was observed in the all the samples. The highest dielectric constant of the material was found to be ~60000 (at 140-160°C, 100 Hz) in the sample sintered using the powders calcined at 700°C. The origin of the high permittivity observed in these CaCu3Ti4O12 ceramics is attributed to the Maxwell-Wagner polarization mechanism.

Abstract. Dissolved iron (DFe; <0.2 µm) and dissolved manganese (DMn; <0.2 µm) concentrations were determined in the water column of the Bay of Biscay (eastern North Atlantic Ocean) in March 2002. The samples were collected along a transect traversing from the European continental shelf over the continental slope. The highest DFe and DMn concentrations (2.39 nM and 6.10 nM, respectively) were observed in the bottom waters on the shelf at stations closest to the coast. The release of trace metal from resuspended particles and the diffusion from pore waters were probably at the origin of elevated DFe and DMn concentrations in the Bottom Boundary Layer (BBL). In the slope region, the highest total dissolvable iron (TDFe), DFe and DMn values (24.6 nM, 1.58 nM and 2.12 nM, respectively) were observed close to the bottom at depth of ca.~600–700 m. Internal wave activity and slope circulation are thought to be at the origin of this phenomenon. These processes were also very likely the cause of elevated concentrations (DFe: 1.27 nM, DMn: 2.34 nM) measured in surface waters of stations located in the same area. At stations off the continental slope, the vertical distribution of both metals were typical of open ocean conditions, indicating that inputs from the continental margin did not impact the metal distributions in the offshore waters.

We report on a method for detection of upconversion nanoparticles (UNPs) in biological preparations by using confocal microscopy technique. Approbation of the method was carried out by monitoring the natural excretion of an injected colloidal solution of YVO4: Yb, Er nanoparticles (0.2 ml, containing 15 mg ANP, dosage 600 mg/kg) with sizes from 10 nm to 700 nm into the snail. The experiments showed that the animal naturally eliminated the nanoparticles from the body within three days, while the excretion rate decreased over time. The threshold of sensitivity in the experiments was equal to one nanoparticle in 1 µl.

Setiap difraktogram sinar-X sampel dilakukan refinement metode Rietveld. Hasil refinement menunjukan bahwa sampel abu cangkang keong mas yang dikalsinasi selama 4 jam memberikan perbedaan komposisi fasa dan parameter unit sel kristal karena pengaruh suhu kalsinasi 600°C, 700°C dan 900°C. Sampel 600°C, 700°C adalah fasa tunggal padatan CaCO3 kalsit dengan bentuk kristal trigonal grup ruang R- 3C, volume kristal berturut-turut adalah 367.381 Å3 dan 369.240 Å3, sedangkan sampel 900°C merupakanpadatan fasa tunggal CaO dengan bentuk kristal kubik grup ruang Fm3m dan volume kristal adalah 111.960 Å3. Spinel LiMn2O4 was prepared by solution combustion synthesis. The effect of fuel content and calcination procedure on phase composition and microscopic structure of LiMn2O4 was studied. X-ray diffraction patterns showed that fuel content had no obvious influence on the grain size and phase purity of LiMn2O4. Higher calcination temperature led to higher phase purity, lager grain size, and better crystallization of resultant LiMn2O4. Below 600°C the effect of calcination time was inconspicuous, which became notable above 700°C. Scanning electron microscope images showed that nanocrystalline LiMn2O4 was obtained when the calcination temperature was lower than 600°C and the grain size increased at higher temperatures.

5549 Background: This was an open-label randomized prospective bi-centric single-arm phase II clinical trial of 177Lu-PSMA-617 molecular radiotherapy in patients with progressive metastatic castrate-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) conducted at University of California Los Angeles (USA) and Excel Diagnostics & Nuclear Oncology Center (Houston, TX, USA) (NCT03042312). The study was investigator-initiated under an investigational new drug approval protocol (IND#133661) with authorization of charging for investigational drug (cost-recovery, Title 21 CFR 312.8). We report here the post-hoc analysis of overall survival (OS) in a single-study site cohort (UCLA). Methods: Patients with progressive mCRPC (biochemical, radiographic, or clinical) after ≥1 novel androgen axis drug (NAAD), either chemotherapy (CTX) naïve or post-CTX, with sufficient bone marrow reserve, normal kidney function, and sufficient PSMA-target expression by PET were eligible. Patients received up to 4 cycles of 177Lu-PSMA-617 every 8±1 weeks and were randomized into 2 treatment activities groups (6.0 or 7.4 GBq). Efficacy was defined as serum PSA decline of ≥50% from baseline and served as primary endpoint (hypothesis: ≥40% of responders after 2 cycles). Results: 43 patients were randomized to the 6.0 GBq (n= 14) and 7.4 GBq (n=29) treatment arms. 11/43 (26%) were CTX naïve while 10/43 (23%), 12/43 (28%), 5/43 (12%) and 5/43 (12%) had received 1, 2, 3 or 4 CTX regimens. Median baseline PSA was 29.2 ng/ml (mean 228.8, range 0.5-2082.6). 21/43 (49%) completed 4 cycles of 177Lu-PSMA-617 whereas 4/43 (9%), 13/43 (30%) and 5/43 (12%) underwent 1, 2 and 3 cycles. PSA decline of ≥50% was observed in 11/43 of patients (26%) after 2 cycles and in 16/43 (37%) at any time (best PSA response). 9/43 (21%) had a PSA decline of ≥90% and 23/43 (53%) had any PSA decline (>0%). After a median follow-up of 19.5 months the median OS was 14.8, 15.7 and 13.5 months in the whole cohort, the 6.0 GBq and 7.4 GBq treatment arms, respectively (p=0.68). Patients showing a PSA decline of ≥50% after 2 cycles and at any time had a longer OS: median 20.1 months vs. 13.6 (p=0.091) and 20.1 vs. 11.6 (p=0.002), respectively. Conclusions: In this post-hoc analysis of a single-site cohort of 43 patients included in a prospective phase II trial the median OS after 177Lu-PSMA-617 molecular radiotherapy in patients with progressive mCRPC was 14.8 months. There was no difference of efficacy between the 6.0 GBq and 7.4 GBq treatment arms. Clinical trial information: NCT03042312 .

Abstract:
We report on a method for detection of upconversion nanoparticles (UNPs) in biological preparations by using confocal microscopy technique. Approbation of the method was carried out by monitoring the natural excretion of an injected colloidal solution of YVO4 : Yb, Er nanoparticles (0.2 ml, containing 15 mg ANP, dosage 600 mg/kg) with sizes from 10 nm to 700 nm into the snail. The experiments showed that the animal naturally eliminated the nanoparticles from the body within three days, while the excretion rate decreased over time. The ultrafine spinel NiFe1.9M0.1O4 powders (M=Al, Y, Cr, Fe) were synthesized by thermal decomposition of appropriate mixtures of complex compounds with acetylacetone - (2,4 pentadione) ligands ([M(AA)x]) at 500 °C. Samples were annealed in the temperature range 600-1000 °C and the crystallization process was followed by XRD. The largest crystallite size and the highest crystallization rate are observed for NiFe1.9Al0.1O4, while the opposite was found for NiFe1.9Y0.1O4. Strain value in NiFe1.9Y0.1O4 changes sign at temperatures between 700-800 °C, while for NiFe1.9M0.1O4 (M=Al, Cr) it has a positive sign and reaches the maximum value at 700 °C. The crystal structure of the samples annealed at 1000 °C was refined using the Rietveld profile method. Cation substitution in Ni-ferrite changes its structural and microstructural parameters, and can also significantly influence other physical properties.

Abstract:
This study investigated the high-temperature wear characteristics of Ta-10W alloy, composed of 90% tantalum and 10% tungsten, known for its high melting point, excellent corrosion resistance, and oxidation resistance. Wear tests were conducted using a ball-on-disc method with alumina balls at temperatures of 200°C, 400°C, 600°C, and 700°C. The results indicated that wear loss decreased (increasing wear resistance) from 200°C to 600°C due to the lubrication effect by oxide particles induced by Ta<sub>2</sub>O<sub>5</sub>, which enhanced wear resistance. However, at 700°C, a significant increase in wear loss was observed due to excessive oxide formation and the occurrence of cracks. Calculation of the wear rate revealed that it decreased as the temperature increased to 2.12×10<sup>-4</sup> mm<sup>3</sup>· N<sup>-1</sup>· m<sup>-1</sup> at 200 °C, 2.67×10<sup>-5</sup> mm3·N<sup>-1</sup>·m<sup>-1</sup> at 400 °C, and 4.21×10<sup>-6</sup> mm3· N<sup>-1</sup>· m<sup>-1</sup> at 600 °C. On the other hand, the wear rate increased at 700 °C to 3.87×10<sup>-4</sup> mm<sup>3</sup>· N<sup>-1</sup>· m<sup>-1</sup>. The wear track analysis results revealed distinct wear mechanisms at different temperatures. At 200°C, abrasive wear characterized by pits and furrows was dominant. At 400°C, adhesive wear became more prevalent with cleavage worn surfaces compared to the wear pattern at 200°C. At 600°C, fragmented oxides indicating pest oxidation were noted, while at 700°C, deep pits and cracks along with fragmented oxides were prevalent. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis results showed the presence of the α-Ta phase at 200°C, 400°C, and 600°C, with peak shifts indicating lattice expansion. In contrast, at 700°C, Ta<sub>2</sub>O<sub>5</sub> peaks were present. Based on the findings, the high-temperature wear mechanism of Ta-10W alloy was also discussed.

Abstract:
Diare salah satu morbiditas dan mortalitas di Indonesia. Biji Carica menjadi alternatif antibakteri dan antidiare. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui ekstrak biji Carica memiliki aktivitas antibakteri dan antidiare. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental laboratorium. Pada aktivitas antibakteri menggunakan metode difusi agar, kelompok konsentrasi 1%, 3%, 5%, kontrol positif dan kontrol negatif. Uji antidiare menggunakan post-test only control group design 30 mencit dibagi 5 kelompok. Setiap kelompok diinduksi castor oil 0,75 ml, kontrol negatif diberi CMC Na, kontrol positif diberi loperamid dan kelompok 600 mg/kg BB, 700 mg/kg BB dan 800 mg/kg BB diamati selama 4 jam. Analisa data antibakteri, rentang waktu diare, diameter serapan air dan konsistensi fases menggunakan kruskal wallis. Saat mulai diare, frekuensi diare dan berat fases menggunakan one way anova. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kadar air simplisia 6.88 %. Presentase rendemen ekstrak 5.45%. Skrining fitokimia ekstrak biji Carica mengandung tanin, flavonoid, terpenoid, alkaloid dan saponin. Aktivitas antibakteri konsentrasi 1%, 3% ,5% , kontrol negatif dan kontrol positif berbeda signifikan (p<0.05). uji saat mulai diare dan frekuensi diare menunjukkan berbeda signifikan kelompok 600 mg/ Kg BB, 700 mg/Kg BB, 800 mg/Kg BB, kontrol positif dan kontrol negatif berbeda signifikan (p<0.05). Uji rentang waktu diare, berat fases, diameter serapan fases dan konsistensi fases menunjukkan tidak berbeda signifikan antar kelompok 600 mg/Kg BB, 700 mg/Kg BB, 800 mg/Kg BB, kontrol positif dan kontrol negatif (p>0.05). Biji Carica terbukti memiliki aktifitas antibakteri pada konsentrasi 1% dan antidiare pada dosis ektrak 600 mg/Kg BB ditinjau dari parameter frekuensi diare.
