Abstract:
AbstractNew spaces of Lipschitz type on metric-measure spaces are introduced and they are shown to be just the well-known Besov spaces or Triebel–Lizorkin spaces when the smooth index is less than 1. These theorems also hold in the setting of spaces of homogeneous type, which include Euclidean spaces, Riemannian manifolds and some self-similar fractals. Moreover, the relationships amongst these Lipschitz-type spaces, Hajłasz–Sobolev spaces, Korevaar–Schoen–Sobolev spaces, Newtonian Sobolev space and Cheeger–Sobolev spaces on metric-measure spaces are clarified, showing that they are the same space with equivalence of norms. Furthermore, a Sobolev embedding theorem, namely that the Lipschitz-type spaces with large orders of smoothness can be embedded in Lipschitz spaces, is proved. For metric-measure spaces with heat kernels, a Hardy–Littlewood–Sobolev theorem is establish, and hence it is proved that Lipschitz-type spaces with small orders of smoothness can be embedded in Lebesgue spaces.AMS 2000 Mathematics subject classification: Primary 42B35. Abstract:
Kata kunci: komposisi, rumah sakit, sampah domestik, minimasi, zero-waste ABSTRACTBandung Adventist Hospital as one of the private hospitals in Bandung City in its activities produces subtantial amount of medical and domestic solid waste. The hospital's domestic solid waste increases with the increase in the number of hospitals. Zero waste initiative can potentially reduce waste to be disposed of in the TPA. The resulting solid waste consists of various compositions that can be used to seek potential for reduction, reuse or recycling. Domestic solid waste generation is calculated using the SNI 19-3964- 1994 approach, samples are taken from kitchens and non-kitchens. The composition of waste is sorted by type and the potential for zero waste seen from the composition. The waste generated by hospital is 0.39 kg/bed/day for kitchen, 1.08 kg/bed/day for non-kitchen and for all source of waste total 1.47 kg/bed/day, lower than the WHO standard 3.2 kg/bed /day. The composition of the waste were plastic (17.66%), papers (8.25%), organic waste (43.99%), metal (0,41%), cardboard (9,37%), residue (17,61%) and others (2,71%). Bandung Adventist Hospital has started several efforts to minimize waste. Zero waste application with separated waste can then be processed according to the characteristics of each type of waste. Plastic, paper and cardboard waste can be separated for recycling. Organic waste in the form of food scraps such as rice can be separated for animal feed, digested and composted. Keywords: composition, hospital, domestic waste, minimize, zero-waste,

Abstract:
Abstract The aim of the research was to study the quality of livestock production in relation to carcass quality and body weight. The research was conducted descriptively using exploratory techniques on cattle and their products (carcasses). Research for 1 (one) month at the cattle slaughtering location in Manokwari district, namely the first slaughtering location is Transito Wosi, the second slaughtering location is Rendani and the third location is Wosi Market. Samples were obtained randomly by selecting 86 male cattle which were slaughtered with the following criteria: Age 1-2 years, Age 2-3 years, Age 3-4 years, Age 4-5 years and Age > 5 years. The results of this study indicate that the percentage of cattle slaughtered is based on age, namely 2-3 years of 67.44%, 3-4 years of 43.99%, while the highest carcass weight is in the 3-4 year age category of 162.89 ± 77. 32 kg, and the longest carcass length in the 4-5 year old cattle category was 122.40 ± 11.80 cm. Slaughter weight has a close relationship (94.72%) with carcass weight, carcass percentage and carcass length. Differences in age category had no effect on carcass weight, carcass length and carcass percentage. Body weight is strongly influenced by body length and chest circumference. It is necessary to carry out further research with observations starting from livestock rearing, feed given, livestock handling before to after slaughter, carcass quality (thickness of fat, area of rib eye veins). Abstract:
BACKGROUND: Aceh is a tropical region that is very many overgrown by various plants that have medicinal properties; one of them is M. elengi. M. elengi flower extract has the main content of triterpene and alcohol, that have antibacterial, antifungal, antioxidant and antineoplastic activity. Extraction of chemical compounds containing essential oils generally uses distillation, and get the small amounts of chemical compounds, while the maceration with n-hexane solvent, producing less active nonpolar compounds against S. aureus bacteria. AIM: Isolating the methanol extract from M. elengi flowers and test its antibacterial and antifungal activity. Furthermore, extracts with active concentrations are made into a lotion. METHODS: Methanol extract from M. elengi flower was characterised by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, then tested for antibacterial and antifungal, then made into the lotion. The lotion was tested again for its antimicrobial activity, physical and organoleptic properties. RESULTS: The most abundant chemical compounds in an extract of M. elengi based on characterisation with GC-MS is Borneol L; (Bicyclo [2.2.1] heptane-2-ol, 1,7,7-trimethyl, as much as 82%). The methanol extract of M. elengi flower can inhibit the growth of S. aureus bacteria and C. albicans fungi, and also the lotion from methanol extract can inhibit the growth of S. aureus bacteria, but the M. elengi flower extract lotion cannot inhibit the growth of C. albicans fungi. The lotion inhibits the growth of S. aureus bacteria, from a concentration of methanol extract of 8% and 16%. Lotion with 16% methanol extract has 81.33% in activity power compared with positive control. The results of physical and organoleptic properties test, with the concentration of methanol extract of M. elengi 1, 2, 8, and 16%, have pH in the range of 6.6-8 (still in a safe range, 4.5-9 according to SNI 16-4399-1997). The lotion type is m/a, the spreading capacity of the lotion is 18.8 - 39.5 cm2. The power of adhesive at skin ranges from 1 minute 27 seconds to 3 minutes 7 seconds. The viscosity of the lotion ranges from 23,670-24,400 cP, this range is in the range based on SNI 16-4399-1996 (2000-50,000 cP), so the lotion is in a good category. The preferred lotion is at a concentration of 2%, in fragrance. CONCLUSION: Antibacterial activity of the lotion of methanol extract of M. elengi flower against S. aureus bacteria was the best at 16%, but could not inhibit the growth of C. albicans fungi. The most abundant compounds in methanol extract are Borneol L compounds; (Bicyclo [2.2.1] heptane-2-ol, 1,7,7-trimethyl. In general, the physical properties of this lotion meet the requirements of SNI16-4399-1996, SNI 16-4399-1997, and lotions which are preferred at a concentration of 2% in fragrance.

Abstract:
Abstract Background: The use of multidisciplinary cancer conferences (MCCs) in cancer patient management is known to lead to improved quality of care and patient outcomes. Applying technology to MCCs may serve to optimize the process and enhance its contribution to patient care. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact of a tumor board technology platform on the quality of MCCs. Methods: Data was collected prospectively from Thoracic, Gynecology (GYN) and Breast Cancer MCCs, September 2020 to February 2022, at a comprehensive cancer center using an MCC performance assessment tool and a self-administered survey. The Mann Whitney U and X2 tests were used as appropriate, to compare the quality of information presented and discussed, time per case reviewed, and consensus before and after implementation of the NAVIFY® Tumor Board Solution. Weighted composite scores of 11 of the variables were calculated and averaged between observers. Higher mean scores reflect higher quality and vice versa. Results: Pre and post NAVIFY® data were collected from 249 and 289 cases, respectively. The overall quality of information presented increased after NAVIFY® implementation (Table 1). This increase was maintained within the Thoracic, Breast and GYN MCC subgroups (mean composite scores: 63.9 vs 82.9; p < .001, 63.4 vs 72.3; p < .001, and 59.8% vs 63.5%; p = 0.009 respectively). Increased participation by surgical, medical and radiation oncologists was also documented for the MCCs (mean score: 3.9 vs 4.1; p < .001, 3.4 vs 3.9; p < .001, and 3.5 vs 3.6; p = 0.035 respectively) as well as increased frequency of consensus (85.9% to 95.5%; p = 0.001). No change in discussion time was seen. Pathologists/radiologists surveyed reported greater ease of finding information they needed to prepare for the MCC (76.1% vs 96.7%; p = 0.048). Conclusions: Using technology to organize and convey data at MCCs improves quality of information presented and discussed, clinician participation and the ability to reach a consensus. Table 1. Abstract:
Background Caregivers of people with chronic illnesses often face negative stress-related health outcomes and are unavailable for traditional face-to-face interventions due to the intensity and constraints of their caregiver role. Just-in-time adaptive interventions (JITAIs) have emerged as a design framework that is particularly suited for interventional mobile health studies that deliver in-the-moment prompts that aim to promote healthy behavioral and psychological changes while minimizing user burden and expense. While JITAIs have the potential to improve caregivers’ health-related quality of life (HRQOL), their effectiveness for caregivers remains poorly understood. Objective The primary objective of this study is to evaluate the dose-response relationship of a fully automated JITAI-based self-management intervention involving personalized mobile app notifications targeted at decreasing the level of caregiver strain, anxiety, and depression. The secondary objective is to investigate whether the effectiveness of this mobile health intervention was moderated by the caregiver group. We also explored whether the effectiveness of this intervention was moderated by (1) previous HRQOL measures, (2) the number of weeks in the study, (3) step count, and (4) minutes of sleep. Methods We examined 36 caregivers from 3 disease groups (10 from spinal cord injury, 11 from Huntington disease, and 25 from allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation) in the intervention arm of a larger randomized controlled trial (subjects in the other arm received no prompts from the mobile app) designed to examine the acceptability and feasibility of this intensive type of trial design. A series of multivariate linear models implementing a weighted and centered least squares estimator were used to assess the JITAI efficacy and effect. Results We found preliminary support for a positive dose-response relationship between the number of administered JITAI messages and JITAI efficacy in improving caregiver strain, anxiety, and depression; while most of these associations did not meet conventional levels of significance, there was a significant association between high-frequency JITAI and caregiver strain. Specifically, administering 5-6 messages per week as opposed to no messages resulted in a significant decrease in the HRQOL score of caregiver strain with an estimate of –6.31 (95% CI –11.76 to –0.12; P=.046). In addition, we found that the caregiver groups and the participants’ levels of depression in the previous week moderated JITAI efficacy. Conclusions This study provides preliminary evidence to support the effectiveness of the self-management JITAI and offers practical guidance for designing future personalized JITAI strategies for diverse caregiver groups. Abstract:
Background Zambia is facing a severe shortage of health care workers, particularly in rural areas. Innovative educational programs and infrastructure have been established to bridge this gap; however, they encounter substantial challenges because of constraints in physical and human resources. In response to these shortcomings, strategies such as web-based and blended learning approaches have been implemented, using virtual patients (VPs) as a means to promote interactive learning at the Levy Mwanawasa Medical University (LMMU) in Zambia. Objective This study aimed to evaluate the students’ knowledge acquisition and acceptance of 2 VP medical topics as a learning tool on a Zambian higher education e-learning platform. Methods Using a mixed methods design, we assessed knowledge acquisition using pre- and posttests. In a randomized controlled trial setting, students were assigned (1:1) to 2 medical topics (topic 1: appendicitis and topic 2: severe acute malnutrition) and then to 4 different learning tools within their respective exposure groups: VPs, textbook content, preselected e-learning materials, and self-guided internet materials. Acceptance was evaluated using a 15-item questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale. Results A total of 63 third- and fourth-year Bachelor of Science clinical science students participated in the study. In the severe acute malnutrition–focused group, participants demonstrated a significant increase in knowledge within the textbook group (P=.01) and the VP group (P=.01). No substantial knowledge gain was observed in the e-learning group or the self-guided internet group. For the appendicitis-focused group, no statistically significant difference in knowledge acquisition was detected among the 4 intervention groups (P=.62). The acceptance of learning materials exhibited no substantial difference between the VP medical topics and other learning materials. Conclusions In the context of LMMU, our study found that VPs were well accepted and noninferior to traditional teaching methods. VPs have the potential to serve as an engaging learning resource and can be integrated into blended learning approaches at LMMU. However, further research is required to investigate the long-term knowledge gain and the acceptance and effectiveness of VPs in medical education. Abstract:
Background Older people are particularly vulnerable to social isolation and loneliness, which can lead to ill-health, both mentally and physically. Information and communication technology (ICT) can supplement health and social care and improve health among the vulnerable, older adult population. When ICT is used specifically for communication with others, it is associated with reduced loneliness in older populations. Research is sparse on how the implementation of ICT, used specifically for communication among older people in social services, can be performed. It is recommended to consider the determinants of implementation, that is, barriers to and facilitators of implementation. Determinants related to older people using ICT tools are reported in several studies. To the best of our knowledge, studies investigating the determinants related to the social services perspective are lacking. Objective This study aims to explore the determinants of implementing the Fik@ room, a new, co-designed, and research-based ICT tool for social interaction among older people, from a social services personnel perspective. Methods This study used an exploratory, qualitative design. An ICT tool called the Fik@ room was tested in an intervention study conducted in 2021 in 2 medium-sized municipalities in Sweden. Informants in this study were municipal social services personnel with experience of implementing this specific ICT tool in social services. We conducted a participatory workshop consisting of 2 parts, with 9 informants divided into 2 groups. We analyzed the data using qualitative content analysis with an inductive approach. Results The results included 7 categories of determinants for implementing the ICT tool. Being able to introduce the ICT tool in an appropriate manner concerns the personnel’s options for introducing and supporting the ICT tool, including their competencies in using digital equipment. Organizational structure concerns a structure for communication within the organization. Leadership concerns engagement and enthusiasm as driving forces for implementation. The digital maturity of the social services personnel concerns the personnel’s skills and attitudes toward using digital equipment. Resources concern time and money. IT support concerns accessibility, and legal liability concerns possibilities to fulfill legal responsibilities. Conclusions The results show that implementation involves an entire organization at varying degrees. Regardless of how much each level within the organization comes into direct contact with the ICT tool, all levels need to be involved to create the necessary conditions for successful implementation. The prerequisites for the implementation of an ICT tool will probably change depending on the digital maturity of future generations. As this study only included 9 informants, the results should be handled with care. The study was performed during the COVID-19 pandemic, which has probably affected the results.

Abstract:
Abstract8-Nitro-1,3-benzothiazin-4-ones (BTZs), with BTZ043 and PBTZ169 as the most advanced compounds, represent a new class of potent antitubercular agents, which irreversibly inhibit decaprenylphosphoryl-β-d-ribose-2′-epimerase (DprE1), an enzyme crucial for cell wall synthesis in the pathogen Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Synthesis, structural characterization and in vitro testing against Mycobacterium aurum DSM 43999 and M. tuberculosis H37Rv of halogenated 2-(4-ethoxycarbonylpiperazin-1-yl)-1,3-benzothiazin-4-ones lacking a nitro group are reported. X-ray crystallography reveals that the structure of the BTZ scaffold can significantly deviate from planarity. In contrast to recent reports, the results of the present study indicate that further investigation of halogenated non-nitro BTZs for antitubercular activity is less than a promising approach.

Abstract:
Abstract Among various genetic mutation in melanoma, BRAFV600E is one of the key drivers of melanoma initiation and progression and has become the frontline target in clinical trials. Although BRAF/MEK inhibitors show very promising therapeutic outcomes, recurrence or relapse is still a major challenge and its underlying mechanisms are still poorly understood. We hypothesized that survival of recurrent tumors is BRAF independent and relies on epigenetic reprogramming. To test our hypothesis, we used either pharmacological inhibition of BRAF/MEK or CRISPR/Cas9 mediated knockout of BRAF to create cell/tumor models of BRAF-independent survival. Cut&Run sequencing was then used to identify epigenetic alterations regulated by H3K4me3 or H3K27Ac in a genome scale and capture the landscape of epigenetic alterations of BRAF-independent cell survival. Combining regular bulk RNAseq, we narrowed down our top candidates and focused on one of the functionally validated candidates, HMGA1. Interestingly, CRISPR/Cas9 mediated HMGA1 knockout cells show significantly slower growth in both in vitro colony formation assays and in vivo xenografts assay in BRAF/MEK resistant Patient-Derived-Xenograft (PDX) tumor models resembling melanoma recurrence. Furthermore, we selected CRISPR/Cas9 single knockout cells of HMGA1, which is a pure genetic depletion model, and confirmed the phenotype of impaired tumor growth of HMGA1 knockout cells. We then performed RNAseq and ChIPseq, and identified downstream targets of HMGA1 and elucidated mechanisms by which HMGA1 reprograms epigenetics of recurrence. Utilizing the single knockout cell, we re-introduced HMGA1 in the pure knockout cells, and anticipated that restoration of HMGA1 in pure HMGA1 knockout cells rescues impaired tumor growth and confer cells resistance to BRAF/MEK inhibition. Finally, we subcutaneously injected the HMGA1 single knockout cells into humanized mice and tested whether epigenetic alterations perturb the immune microenvironment and sensitize cells to immunotherapy. In conclusion, this study sheds new lights on how melanoma cells reprogram the epigenome to develop mechanisms of recurrence. Identification of HMGA1 and its upstream or downstream targets provides potential druggable targets of overcoming relapse after BRAF/MEK inhibitor therapy. Abstract:
Gerga Orange (Citrus nobilis L. Var. RGL) are the main commodity in Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province. These oranges have been processed by the community into syrup preparations and from this activity produce waste in the form of fruit peels. Based on previous research, the peel of this citrus fruit is known to have antioxidant and antibacterial activity, so it can be used as a raw material in the manufacture of lotion preparations. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of the three lotion formulations from the ethanolic extract of the gerga orange peel (Citrus nobilis L. Var. RGL) with various concentrations of 8% (F1), 10% (F2), 12% (F3). The method used is the experimental method. The results showed that the three formulations of lotion met the standard of good lotion. In the organoleptic test, there were differences in the color of the preparation, where the color became more concentrated as the concentration of the extract increased. In the homogeneity test, the three formulas showed good homogeneity until the 14th day of testing. The pH of the three formulas was also in accordance with the SNI 16-4399-1996 standard, namely 4.5-8. The three formulas also did not cause allergic reactions to 10 respondents. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that all formulas of the ethanol extract of the gerga orange peel (Citrus nobilis L. Var. RGL) with varying concentrations can be formulated as lotion preparations that are physically and organoleptically stable, as well as the standard of SNI 16-4399-1996 in terms of pH of the preparation and irritation test. Of the three formulas, formula 1 has an advantage over the other formulas because it has a less intense color, which makes it superior in appearance.

Abstract:
Laboratory experiments on effectiveness of different storage bags against the groundnut Bruchid, Caryedon serratus in storage condition was carried out at Main Oilseeds Research Station, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh during 2016 and 2017. All the treatments were significantly superior over untreated check (i.e., Traditional jute gunny bags). Results of the experiment indicated that the lowest per cent pod damage was recorded in the treatments of high-density polythene (HDPE) bags (Adults unreleased), polythene layered gunny bags (Adults unreleased), fertilizer bags (Adults unreleased) and triple layered gunny bags (Adult unreleased) at 30, 60, 90 and 120 days days of trial installation. The high-density polythene (HDPE) bags (Adult unreleased) have also higher net gain as well as ICBR (1: 52.52) followed by high density polythene (HDPE) bags (Adult released) (1: 43.99) and polythene layered gunny bags (Adult unreleased) (1: 30.01).

Abstract:
The manuscript provides the results of the process of obtaining activated phosphorus fertilizer (APF) by nitric acid processing of mineralized mass (MM) of phosphate waste, which formed during the sorting stage of thermal beneficiation of Central Kyzylkum (CK) phosphorites. For experiments was used MM with content 14.60% P2O5total(t.).; 3.07% P2O5acceptable by citric acid (ac.c.a.); 43.99% CaOt.; 1.01% MgO; 14.11% CO2; 1.04% Al2O3; 0.89% Fe2O3; 1.58% SO3; 1.30% F; 1.02% H2O; CaO:P2O5 – 3.01 and 10.82% insoluble residual. The optimal concentrations and norms of nitric acid have been determined. Phosphorus fertilizer suspensions were neutralized with Ca(OH)2 suspension in order to prevent P2O5 from passing into the solution. APF obtained in optimal parameters has the following composition (weight, %): 20.42-20.58 P2O5total(t.); 11.02-11.72 P2O5ac.c.a.; 38.87-39.01CaOt.; 23,39-24,48 CaO ac.c.a.. The degree of transition of P2O5 to liquid phase is 2.02-2.06%.

Abstract:
Fifty million years ago, the equine is chronicled in the early days of Eohippus, the earliest known horse to man. In the 1400s, Cortez and Christopher Columbus transported the first domestic horses to the Americas. Ancient times supported the use of horses in times of war where the industry began utilizing the horse as a vehicle. Today, the equine industry is strongly steeped in traditions and cultural beliefs that prove consistent to the early rituals. However, within the last few decades, the equine industry started to see a radical new change to the age-old tradition of horsemanship. This new sub-culture is called natural horsemanship. This movement, as it was called in the beginning, challenged tradition and millions of years of beliefs. Why did some adopt and others not? The focus on this study is to define the industry, creating a solid picture of how the change began, why the change was necessary in the eyes of some, and what is the current state of the industry as it stands. In this research, the equine industry will serve as an industry model revealing beliefs and cultural frameworks that can serve as a blueprint for other industries who may be experiencing changes to an embedded culture way of doing business. With proposed change comes conflict. The human stress factor, conflict and personal dedication necessary to change decades of tradition is a daunting task. Long-standing belief systems are usually embedded in tradition and society’s acceptance of the status quo. As humans, we initially will resist as change is difficult and takes effort with responsibility. The literature review will provide solid data supporting this industry adaptation, and how it has affected aspects of the industry. Data will also provide the existence of opposing forces: natural versus traditional and what that means for those on each side. While this offers innovative opportunities for some, it has provided deeper traction in regulatory bodies, traditional organizations, and professional treatment of the equine. The equine industry analysis will demonstrate a unique glimpse into an industry at the forefront of possible change, whereas for centuries none had occurred.
