Abstract:
Social media platforms are mainly characterised by private regulation.2 However, their direct and indirect impact on society has become such (fake news, hate speech, incitement to terrorism, data protection breaches, impact on the viability of professional journalism) that private regulatory mechanisms in place (often opaque and not transparent) seem to be inadequate. In my presentation, I would first address the problem of legal classification of these services (media service provider vs. intermediary service provider), since the answer to this question is a prerequisite for any state intervention. I would then present the regulatory initiatives (with a critical approach) at EU and national level which might shape the future of ’social media platform’ regulation.

Abstract:
Two-phase nanocrystalline ribbons were prepared by melt-spun and subsequent heat treatment. Excellent magnetic properties of the bonded magnet were achieved as follows: Br = 0.67 T, JHc = 664.3 kA·m-1, (BH) max = 75.0 kJ·m-3. The mean grain size of the ribbons heat-treated at 710 °C/ 4 min is about 50 nm. After heat-treated the ribbons at 750 °C/ 4 min, the mean grain size is about 100 nm.

Abstract:
Ecological industry were qualitatively and quantitatively studied from the price perspective in this paper, because price study before it comes into being is more important than after it happened. We proposed that price should guide and constrain people’s choices. Then chose four subsystems: economic, social, environmental, energy, constructed price and interest evaluation indexes systems, used analytic hierarchy process, quantitatively analyzed interest and price of enterprise’s project based on experts' experience, gave every index weight. At last, accounting to price and interest of different project, made decision of enterprise.

Full text
Abstract:
Copper mould spray casting and aging treatment were performed to investigate the microstructure evolution of a Ni-base superalloy. With increasing the cooling rate during solidification, the morphology of primary γ phase changes from coarse dendrite to fine dendritic structure with radial-like feature, accompanied by the inhibition of γ′ phase due to the shortened period during the subsequent solid state transformation process. After aging treatment, both the size and volume fraction of γ′ phase are increased with prolonging the isothermal time, which generate the morphology transition of precipitates from irregular and spherical to ellipse and rectangle due to the competition between the interface energy and strain energy.

Abstract:
The most influential articles in Very high cycle fatigue (VHCF) during last 20 years have been identified from web of science data. It has been found that VHCF is an important category of fatigue damage and has produced the highest impact in the field. The number of articles and their citations is continuously increasing in the overall published papers in the field of fatigue. In VHCF field, it was found that the participants of VHCF conferences from VHCF 1 to 5 are the main contributors in all the VHCF papers and in its top 100 influential papers. Majority of the articles were experimental studies. The fatigue crack initiation in the VHCF domain is considered the most important area in the field. In VHCF, the most influential papers till date have been identified. This may prove helpful to trainees mastering the most influential literature of the field as well as more established professionals searching for starting points for new investigations

Abstract:
With the improvement of output frequency of electric fast transients (EFT) burst generator, amplitude attenuation of pulse train appeared in the high frequency. Therefore, the method of pulse width programmed digitally ,and realized by Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) device was put forward to overcome burst amplitude attenuation. The technology of direct digital frequency synthesis was used to adjust the output signal frequency changes. The linear array memory with one bit was adopted to store square-wave waveform, the output signal duty cycle is digital adjustable, which is achieved by changing the waveform data in the linear array memory. Brust generator is designed by using VHDL languages in the QUARTUS II 6.0 simulation platform. The simulation and experiment results show that when the frequency of the output signal reaches 1 MHz, frequency resolution arrives at 6Hz, error of pulse width is less than 10 ns.

Key Engineering Materials 336-338 (April 2007): 27–29. http://dx.doi.org/10.4028/www.scientific.net/kem.336-338.27.

Abstract:
0.85Pb(Zn1/3Nb2/3)O3-0.10BaTiO3-0.05PbTiO3 (abbreviated as PZN-based ceramics hereafter) ternary system ceramics with Zn2+ deficiency were synthesized by the columbite method. The effect of deficient Zn2+ on phase structure, ordered micro-region size and dielectric properties was investigated in detail. The analysis of Raman scattering spectra demonstrated that Zn2+ deficiency sharply enlarged the ordered micro-region size. Zn2+ deficiency significantly increased the dielectric constant, and decreased the diffusion degree of phase transition. There is a close correlation between effective ordered micro-regions size and dielectric properties for the PZN-based ceramics.

Abstract:
AbstractThis study compared the values of bar-peak force (PFBar) and power (PPBar), body-peak force (PFBody) and power (PPBody) and bar-mean propulsive power (MPPBar) in different jump-squat (JS) conditions: unloaded condition (UC); bar-loaded condition (BLC) and optimum bar-MPP condition (OBC). Twenty-five soccer players performed the JS using a bar with negligible mass (UC), using the Smith-machine bar (BLC) and using the load capable of maximizing the bar-MPP (OBC). The PFBody was significantly higher in the UC (2847.9 ± 489.1 N) than in the OBC (2655.4 ± 444.3 N). The UC presented greater PPBody (3775.9 ± 631.5 W) than the BLC (3359.7 ± 664.3 W) and OBC (3357.8 ± 625.3 W). The OBC presented higher values of PFBar, PPBar and MPPBar (676.2 ± 109.4 W) than the BLC (MPPBar = 425.8 ± 53.7 W) (all p < 0.05). In the OBC (compared to the UC), the body peak-power presented a reduction of ≈ 11%, while generating bar-power output from ≈ 59 to 73% higher than the BLC. While the fact that the body-peak power is maximized in the UC denotes a mechanical phenomenon, the bar-optimum load represents an intensity at which both components of the power equation (force and velocity) are optimized. This has important implications for sports training.

Full text
Abstract:
Objective: The present study aimed at evaluating the role of training in improving emotional intelligence (EI) skills and assessing its indirect effect on reducing job stress in emergency medicine residents (EMRs). Methods: In the present study, 20 EMRs were trained for EI skills while 22 EMRs received no training. Then, all participants’ EI level and job stress were assessed and compared before and after the intervention using the Bar-On Emotional Quotient Inventory(EQ-I) and the Osipow job stress questionnaire, respectively. Results: The results of the present study revealed that the EI level in the training group with a mean score of 338.27±27.57 was significantly higher than the control group with a mean score of 320.50±28.50 after training intervention (P=0.043). In addition, job stress in the training group with a mean score of 170.82±16.11 was significantly lower than the control group with a mean score of 183.30±22.21 (P=0.045). Moreover, in the training group, the relationship between EI and job stress was inverse and significant (r= -0.746, P<0.001), but in the control group it was non-significant (r=0.017, P=0.938). Conclusion: According to the results of the present study, training for EI skills can play a significant role in improving EI and reducing stress in EMRs.
