Abstract:
Abstract: This article calls for a revaluation of Thomas Hardy's Poems of 1912–13 , viewing them as in dialogue with William Wordsworth's Lucy poems and Percy Bysshe Shelley's Jane poems. Though Poems of 1912–13 has been favored with a great deal of criticism that aims to come to terms with its manifold influences, the Romantic influence upon Hardy's collection has been overlooked. This article considers how Hardy brings Wordsworth and Shelley's sequences into conversation with his elegies to argue that Hardy reimagines both poets' sequences to create his poetry of mourning.

Abstract:
Ciclo XXIX
The Run 2 of the Large Hadron Collider, which began in Spring 2015, offers new challenges to the Experiments with its unprecedented energy scale and high luminosity regime. To cope with the new experimental conditions, the ATLAS Experiment was upgraded during the first long shutdown of the collider, in the period 2013-2014. The most relevant change which occurred in the ATLAS Inner Detector was the installation of a fourth pixel layer, the Insertable B-Layer, at a radius of 33 mm together with a new thinner beam pipe. The Pixel Services, located between the Pixel and SCT detectors, were also modified. Owing to the radically modified ID layout, many aspects of the track reconstruction programs had to be re-optimized. In this thesis, the improvements to the tracking algorithms and the studies of the material distribution in the Inner Detector are described in detail, together with the improvements introduced in the geometry model description in simulation as well as the re-evaluation and the reduction of the systematic uncertainty on the estimate of the track reconstruction efficiency. The results of these studies were applied to the measurement of Charged-Particle Multiplicity in proton–proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. The chargedparticle multiplicity, its dependence on transverse momentum and pseudorapidity and the dependence of the mean transverse momentum on the charged-particle multiplicity are presented for various fiducial phase spaces. The measurements are corrected for detector effects, presented as particle-level distributions and are compared to the predictions of different Monte Carlo event generators. New sets of recommended performance figures along with the related systematic uncertainties were also derived for several aspects of the ATLAS tracking, such as track reconstruction efficiency, fake rate and impact parameter resolution. These recommendations provide information on appropriate working points, i.e. track selection criteria with wellunderstood performance. They apply to physics analyses using Inner Detector tracks in Run 2 data and are important inputs for other objects based on tracks, such as jets. A simulation-based method which uses the tracking recommendations to calibrate light-jets mis-tagged as b-jets it is also presented in the context of the measurement of the crosssection of the W-boson produced in association with b-jets at 13 TeV, together with an overview of the inclusiveW-boson cross-section analysis.

Full text
Abstract:
This chapter gives the first detailed account of the closure of Moorcroft’s department and its consequences, drawing on the firm’s Minutes and on Moorcroft’s own notebooks, diary entries, and correspondence. As the rift deepened between Moorcroft and Watkin, the attitude of the Macintyre Directors to Moorcroft’s treatment was clearly ambivalent. Moorcroft’s decision to set up his own pottery (rather than to work as a designer in another firm) is a sign of his independent spirit and sense of vocation. In little more than six months, he developed a coherent business model, secured financial backing from Liberty’s, found a suitable site for his new works, and oversaw its design and construction. He also agreed a contract with Liberty’s which gave him the freedom to pursue his work as a potter, but which left Liberty’s free to withdraw their support after ten years if the enterprise was not commercially viable. It was a lifeline, but with strings attached. For all the challenges of this period, Moorcroft exhibited to great acclaim at the Ghent International Exhibition of 1913; the end of one phase of his career marked the beginning of another.

Abstract:
и Chosenia arbutifolia (Pall.) A. Skvorts.

Abstract:
Generally speaking, eurhythmy can be defined as a harmonious combination of sounds, words, lines and proportions generating a compositional balance, which is very important for the artistic act. In the context of studying, with the purpose of reaching high interpretative and artistic competencies, eurhythmy is represented by: - developing human bodie's expresivity, the capacity of expresing temporal and spatial dimensions, the harmonious bonding between movement, rhythm, sound and colour; - realising the connexion between the body and the soul. Eurhythmy is an art that wants to express the language and sound through movements. It's first elements were first borned in 1911-1912 with the help of Rudolf Steiner, founder of anthroposophie. There are other sciences that developed during the past few years as the science developed itself in: scenic, pedagogical and curative/remedial eurhythmy. Scenic eurhythmy artistically introduces each new concepts or new skills to be discovered and developed. Eurhytmies itself is an art: it uses the body as a visual representation along with the language, the music and the singing that create the atmosphere. It points out the music intervals and tones and the sound through a falling expresive movement of the arms, hands and body in a dinamic structure. The second side is the didactical one that is willing to streghthen the child according to Waldorf's techniques. During eurhythmy classes, the children make up stories or happenings through meaningfull movements. As they grow up they aquire the ability of controlling their gestures and steps on specific rhythms and special moves. There is also a third domain developed from eurhythmy, which has its own concepts and figures that are used in treating different defficiencies.
