Abstract:
Begić, akademik Midhat Begić, četnički zločinii 1941., zločini srpskih vojnih i paravojnih formacija 1992., obnova škole 2001.

Abstract:
A reassessment of some Amazonian spiny-backed treefrogs (Osteocephalus) either considered to be junior synonyms or not associated yet with Osteocephalus reveals that O. cabrerai (Cochran and Goin, 1970) from lowland Colombia and Peru is distinct from a frog previously used to revalidate the species, that O. festae (Peracca, 1904) is a valid species from the foothills of the Andes in Ecuador, and that Hyla inframaculata Boulenger, 1882, from the lower Amazon in Brazil, is a member of this genus. The oldest available name for O. elkejungingerae (Henle, 1981) from the Andean foothills in Peru is O. mimeticus (Melin, 1941). Another Melin (1941) species, Hyla vilarsi from the Rio Negro watershed in Brazil, is also an Osteocephalus revalidated from the synonymies of several other frogs.

Abstract:

Abstract:

Abstract:
The genus Nebrioporus Régimbart, 1906 is reviewed and partially revised. The historical subgeneric divisions have not been subscribed to here because they fail to reflect the natural grouping within the genus. Instead, Nebrioporus has been divided into eight species-groups recognised and described with character analysis and keys for their identification. The N. laeviventris-group, comprising 4 subgroups and 13 species, has been revised. The N. depressus-group, the most speciose within the genus, is redefined and dealt with in detail with keys for the identification of the species and morphological illustrations accompanying the taxonomic discussion for selected species. The N. sansii-group, as here defined, is also keyed and illustrated and the species N. lynesi (J. Balfour-Browne, 1947) is revised and inserted into this group. Revisional notes are provided also for the following species: Nebrioporus canariensis (Bedel, 1881), N. capensis (Omer-Cooper, 1953), N. dubius (Aubé, 1838b), N. kiliani (Peyerimhoff, 1929), N. kilimandjarensis (Régimbart, 1906), N. seriatus (Sharp, 1882), N. simplicipes (Sharp, 1884), N. solivagus (Omer-Cooper, 1965), N. vagrans (Omer-Cooper, 1953). All revised species are provided with a short redescription, illustration of diagnostic characters and distributional analysis. For several species new distributional records are given. Illustrations of habitus and male characters are provided also for species not discussed in the text. A comprehensive checklist of the genus Nebrioporus is given, with synonyms. Two new species are described: N. amicorum sp.n. from Crete and N. sagartus sp.n. from Iran, both belonging to the N. laeviventris-group, the former described from material previously determined as Nebrioporus stearinus (Kolenati, 1854). Nebrioporus seriatus (Sharp, 1882) is found to be a member of the abyssinicus-group and inserted into previous identification keys. Nebrioporus suavis (Sharp, 1882) is here considered as a western subspecies of N. stearinus (new status as Nebrioporus stearinus suavis (Sharp)). New synonyms: Zimmermannius Guignot, 1941 = Nebrioporus Régimbart, 1906; Hydroporus walkeri Branden, 1885 = Hydroporus crotchi Preudhomme de Borre, 1871; Hydroporus variegatus Aubé, 1838a = Hydroporus stearinus Kolenati, 1845; Deronectes turca Seidlitz, 1887 = Hydroporus stearinus Kolenati, 1845; Potamonectes sulphuricola Zaitzev, 1951 = Hydroporus airumlus Kolenati, 1845. Lectotypes are designated for: Hydroporus clarkii Wollaston, 1862; Deronectes simplicipes Sharp, 1884; Deronectes anchoralis Sharp, 1884; Hydroporus kiliani Peyerimhoff, 1929; Deronectes seriatus Sharp, 1882; Deronectes arabicus Sharp, 1882; Deronectes islamiticus Sharp, 1882; Deronectes princeps Sharp, 1882; Hydroporus stearinus Kolenati, 1845; Deronectes suavis Sharp, 1882; Hydroporus crotchi Preudhomme de Borre, 1871; Hydroporus insignis Klug, 1833; Hydroporus semiclusus Walker, 1871; Deronectes hostilis Sharp, 1884; and Hydroporus melanogrammus Régimbart, 1899.

Abstract:
AbstractWithin the Hydroporini, the Deronectes-group of genera are characterised by having the mesosternal fork and metasternal keel separated (or secondarily fused), the ventral elytral ridge posteriorly elevated but without ligula, and the male protarsus ventrally without adhesive discs. The genera of the group, viz. Deronectes Sharp, 1882, Stictotarsus Zimmermann, 1919, Scarodytes Gozis, 1914, and Nebrioporus Regimbart, 1906, are reclassified and a hypothesis of their phylogenetic relationships is presented. Karyotypes of 14 European species of Hydroporinae are discussed. Nebrioporus is extended to include most species with parameres with apex hook-like and sclerotised, with Potamonectes Zimmermann, 1921, as a junior synonym, syn. n. Nebrioporus s. str. and Zimmermannius Guignot, 1941 are recognized as subgenera of Nebrioporus. Scarodytes is kept as a separate genus because of its characteristic ventral sculpture and seemingly higher number of autosomes than in Nebrioporus. The species with simple parameres previously placed in Potamonectes are transferred to Stictotarsus together with S. bertrandi (Legros, 1956), previously in Deronectes. Consequently, Trichonectes Guignot, 1941, is a junior subjective synonym of Stictotarsus, syn.n. In an appendix, a check-list is provided for the species of the Deronectes-group. The subgenus Nebrioporus s. str. is divided into three species-groups: the kilimandjarensis-, the abyssinicus-, and the depressus-groups.

Abstract:

Abstract:
Swedish missionary Ingeborg Wikander (1882–1941) arrived in China in 1916 and worked for the Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) in Changsha between 1917 and 1927. During her first years in China, in the process of becoming established in the new country, Wikander moved within several transnational missionary contexts, and she established relationships and networks crucial for her future work. Through the personal example of a Swedish YWCA secretary, this article draws attention to the building of personal relationships within the larger transnational missionary communities of China of the early 20th century. It discusses how such relationships could be interpreted in gendered, national and denominational terms and show how the local, the national and the transnational were entangled in everyday encounters and experiences of individual mission workers like Ingeborg Wikander.

Abstract:
Continuously from 1882 to 1992 (till the disintegration of the former Yugoslavia), Germany was the contract partner of Serbia, that is The Kingdom of Yugoslavia, that is the SFR of Yugoslavia. In spite of belligerent relations (disruption of diplomatic relations, discontinuity of contract practice) Germany occupied an extremely significant place within the international contract capacity of Serbia in the 19th century, that is of The Kingdom of Yugoslavia between the two wars, and specially in the period from 1934. to 1941, that is of Yugoslavia in the period from 1949 to 1990. Precisely the history of international contracts - bilateral Serbian/Yugoslav-German contracts - is also the "history of (their) inter-state relations". Diplomatic political, trade, war or any other relations - one could always find their traces in bilateral contracts; the contracts regulated these relations and it could be said that the bilateral contracts are today the most important source of comprehensive and developed relations between the two countries. Actually bilateral contracts are the legal instruments for the regulation of relations between states.

Abstract:
The genus Onychelmis Hinton, 1941 was for a long time regarded as a small taxon with only three known species distributed in the Andes. A study of new material from Ecuador, using morphological and molecular data, has resulted in the discovery of five new species: Onychelmis lenkae sp. nov., O. lobata sp. nov., O. minor sp. nov., O. onorei sp. nov. and O. splendida sp. nov. We also revised the entire genus and redescribed the three known species, O. longicollis (Sharp, 1882), O. leleupi Delève, 1968 and O. whiteheadi Spangler & Santiago, 1991. Habitus photographs of adults are provided, together with line drawings of male and female genitalia, and schematic illustrations of the distribution of femoral tomentum for each species. DNA sequences for barcoding the COI mtDNA fragment were used to support species delimitation and to suggest possible relationships among species. The revision includes a key to adults of all species of Onychelmis and notes on the biogeography of the genus, with an updated distribution map.

Abstract:

Abstract:

Abstract:
William Shakespeare (1565-1616) is a noteworthy presence in works by James Joyce (1882-1941). Joyce’s Ulysses contains a number of passages that allude to the bard’s plays. Unlike the Homeric parallel, the Shakespearean references are scattered through the novel in form of allusions and echoes. In view of this, Laura Pelaschiar (2016) points out that “the job of the Joyce/Shakespeare explorer is a trying one because Shakespeare’s presence in Joyce is hard to unearth and assess” (58). The spectre of Hamlet arises in the novel in multiple ways and evokes crucial themes of the novel, such as the paternity matter and the relation between art and biographical life. In virtue of such intertextuality, the purpose of this paper is to discuss the presence of Hamlet in the Brazilian translations of James Joyce’s Ulysses by Antônio Houaiss (Civilização Brasileira, 1966), Bernardina da Silveira Pinheiro (Objetiva, 2005) and Caetano Galindo (Penguin/Companhia das Letras, 2012). This study comprises larger research that investigates how translators dealt with the Hamletian references in Joyce’s novel.

Abstract:
This research shows how the gender perspective can be introduced into Compulsory Secondary Education and Baccalaureate by focusing on the work of two Anglo-Saxon women writers considered to be bastions of feminism: Virginia Woolf (1882-1941) and Sylvia Plath (1932-1963). The research design follows a methodology known as Design-Based Research (de Benito Crosetti y Salinas Ibáñez 2016) which offers as a product a reading guide in the form of a literary constellation (Jover 2009, Garvis 2015) that includes the following selection of English-language adaptations for young people: Mrs Dalloway (1925), To the Lighthouse (1927), A Room of One’s Own (1929), Three Women (1962), The Bell Jar (1963) and Ariel (1965). The value of this research lies in showing the feasibility of bringing Woolf’s and Plath’s literary production closer to young audiences, presenting teaching material in English that is accessible and adapted to their language level. The reading of these works contributes to raising students’ awareness and developing a critical awareness of the gender perspective.

Abstract:

Abstract:
Virginia Woolf (1882-1941) is the pioneers of the very first movement of feminism. Her work A Room of One's Own (1929) shows gender discrimination with discourse of feminism and of literary creativeness, and also thoughts for fighting for gender equality. For Woolf, a liberal writer is the one who has his/her own room to work and is adequately educated. Despite of the wide gap of generation, the novel The Reader (1995) by Bernhard Schlink (1944-) continued with feminism from the view of female readers. It also shows his view point of a liberal reader who has the right to participate in literary reception. As a continuation of Woolf, Schlink argues that the very basic step to all to become a free reader is to educate, to eliminate illiteracy and to foster cultural and social knowledge. It can be seen that the feminist voices in these two works have much in common, creating a deep feminist dialogue. We believe that link between them as well as between the works and the readers can evoke further feminist voices and discourses, contributing to the development of this approach.

Abstract:
Abstract The literary style of modernist authors like James Joyce (1882-1941) and William Faulkner (1897-1962) is deeply experimental. Their complexity is intertwined with the desire to retell local, national stories as seen through the eyes of losers from which small literary cosmoses are the desires result to re-adapt domestic spaces. This research does not leave a path for the use of language as a transparent means of expression, but at the same time makes it impossible to express fiction through more linear and elaborative methods, leaving the direct elaboration subordinate, shown from the viewpoint of the marginalized, the oppressed. Their speaking variety is conveyed through repetitions, fixations, alienations, and disturbing endings. The two authors create neologisms that signal dissatisfaction with the limitations of conventional language. Joyce includes Hiberno-English in Ulysses (1920) as a means of cacophonous addition to the voices and styles, just as Faulkner includes the African American speech of the American South. They operate on the differences of their traditions. Joyce attacks the use of syntax, being more interested in the order of words within the sentence, the same concern with syntactic structure that we also see in Faulkner.

Abstract:

Abstract:
The present article sheds new light on trauma as a devastating phenomenon respecting the construction of male and female characters' identities and reveals reconstruction of male and female identities in Virginia Woolf's (1882-1941) The Waves (1931). Trauma is defined as an unexpected event that leaves the most terrible marks on the person's self, identity, psyche, emotions, beliefs, etc. Individual trauma is diagnosed by the male and female characters' horrendous responses regarded as post-traumatic stress disorder in terms of a distressing recollection of the traumatic occurrence. In contrast, cultural trauma, like patriarchy, gender, or sexual difference which has a horrific influence on cultures, can encompass traumatically the collective identity of male and female characters. In The Waves, the characters such as Rhoda, Jinny, and Susan get involved in the struggle for the self-definition relating to their collective and individual identities, respectively. No wonder, this article exploits an integrated method of feminism and psycho-trauma. It contextualizes the ideologies of postmodern feminist critics, such as Judith Butler (1956-), Helene Cixous (1937-), Cathy Caruth (1955-), and Luce Irigaray (1930-). Woolf, de facto, reveals how trauma as a catastrophe, either individual or collective, affects shockingly male and female characters' identities, so that their physical and psychological responses can be analyzed in terms of diagnosis of the trauma and its aftermath.

Abstract:
This study sheds new light on the role of city whether real or fictional in modern novel as one of the signs of man’s cultural fate. For the same reason, city is not a mere physical place, but a spatial concept. Not only has city become inseparable from man’s personal and national destiny but also one’s life continues to unfold on city’s streets. James Joyce’s (1882-1941) A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man (A Portrait, 2000) deals with Joyce’s home, Dublin. Joyce aims to universalize and simultaneously eternalize his home through his art. Accordingly, the reader of his text is to decipher the cultural signs of Dublin to get into it. As Michael Ryan (1946-) refers to culture as the total way of life that it has multiple meanings; to understand the culture of a city, to read its meaning, one has to decipher it. Semiology, based on Roland Barthes (1915-1980), is the science of signs whose emphasis is on the interpretation of codes, signs and symbols in a particular culture. Thus, the culture of Dubliners portrayed in A Portrait can be decoded through semiology by the readers. Stephen Dedalus is one who deciphers the cultural signs such as paralysis, religion, prostitution and confession through his walking in Dublin. He considers them as nets of Dublin that he tries to escape from them.

Abstract:
This paper regards traumatized formation of characters’ identities in Virginia Woolf’s (1882-1941) The Waves (1931). Trauma is considered as a devastating phenomenon which has horribly and dreadfully some effects on an individual’s self and identity. The aftereffects of a shocking and traumatic event on one’s sense of self contribute extremely to the collapse of the construction of his or her identity. Undoubtedly, the different sorts of trauma, like individual and historical trauma, have incorporated Woolf’s life. Actually, Woolf’s disoriented self is defined based on the affective representation of her traumatized identity through her painful experiences over her lifetime. This paperfocuses on Cathy Caruth’s (1955-) critical views concerning the concept of trauma. Caruth believes that trauma is a mental wound associated with the latency, referring to the return of the traumatic experiences after a period of delay or deja vuin the form of repeated flashbacks, nightmares, and so forth. In The Waves, the male and female characters like Bernard, Neville, Louis, Rhoda, Jinny, and Susan are traumatized due to a number of traumatic events, so that the construction of their identities can be trapped in some kind of post-traumatic stress disorders as the effects of their traumas. Through presentingthe characters, in the novel, Woolf delineates the traumatized selves and identities involved in some sort of psychic fragmentation and disintegration that haunt inevitably their lives and respondtraumatically to their traumas, pain, and suffering in different ways.
